14 Most Inappropriate Spaceships Of All Time
By Jonathan Klotz
| Updated

The coolest part of science fiction isn’t the exotic alien planets, destructive weapons, or the outfits, it’s the spaceships. Nothing captures the imagination like a spaceship flying to a different galaxy, or weaving through a zero-gravity dog fight. They’re sleek, they’re cool, and they’re iconic. Think of Star Wars, and you think of the Millennium Falcon. Star Trek has the Enterprise, and Farscape has the organic Moya.
The ships in this list aren’t like those icons. Spaceships often suffer from a design flaw. They look… uh… like… well.
We all know it. We all think it the first time we see one of these POP UP. It’s HARD not to. And there’s just no beating around the BUSH here, we’ve gone made a list of the most INAPPROPRIATE spaceships.
And we’re ranking them in order by which one is the most totally raunchy.
14 – Dr. Evil’s Rocket – Austin Powers

The first Austin Powers was once the most quoted movie on the planet. Mike Myers became a comedy superstar with his sendup of James Bond and spy movies in general. A sequel was inevitable, and this time, science fiction didn’t escape the parody unscathed. The extended bit about Dr. Evil’s rocket is one of the best parts of the movie.
The gag works on two levels, first, the obvious, in that the rocket looks like a phallus. Secondly, it keeps going with every quick shot including dialogue that leads into the next. Did I mention that it keeps going? By the time it gets to One-eyed Monster you think it’s running out of gas, and then it goes with the obvious joke, and Woody Harrelson pops up on screen.
Sci-fi spaceships looking like a phallus isn’t a secret. We all know.
It’s so common that a mainstream comedy can use it as a joke. Dr. Evil is a man of science and science can’t help it that a long, cylindrical object is the most efficient rocket design. The only stopping the obvious penis rocket from ranking higher is that it’s a deliberate gag. Science fiction is filled with ships that weren’t intended to be a pecker.
13 – Heighlighnier – Dune

Is it a massive Space Guild transport ship capable of holding thousands of passengers as it folds space and time… …or is it a sex toy?
The Heighlighnier from Dune is a technological marvel, working less as a ship and more as a tunnel through space. At least it was in Denis Villeneuve’s Dune. Frank Herbert’s novels never go into detail. The exact shape, form, and function of the vessel is left to the imagination. Both David Lynch and Villeneuve decided that it should be a massive cylinder, and it unfortunately looks a lot like a….well….not a flashlight.
But…yeah I’m going to go with flashlight.
In the prequel HBO Max series, Dune: Prophecy, the Heighliners are more rectangular.
I’ll have to admit, it’s honestly a great design for a spaceship that doesn’t have to actually travel anywhere. With no need for propulsion, there’s no need for thrusters, and it doesn’t have to be aerodynamic. Dune is the strangest sci-fi universe to break through into the mainstream, even the spaceships are more complex than any other franchise.
That said, the brutalist, monolithic design of the Heighlighnier makes them standout. It’s an immediately striking, recognizable look, but again, did it really have to look exactly like a FLASH light?
12 – The Dauntless – Star Trek Prodigy

Star Trek Prodigy was never given a chance to become a success. Paramount didn’t know what to do with a Star Trek cartoon meant for kids. The show itself is fantastic and a great way to get kids into Star Trek. Voyager stars Kate Mulgrew and Robert Picardo reprise their roles as Janeway and The Doctor, the new characters are colorful and vastly different from previous Trek series, taking full advantage of the animated format.
And then there’s the Dauntless.
On the one hand, the Dauntless shows Star Fleet incorporating alien technology into its ships. On the other, it’s either a flying arrowhead or a….well….you know. Long, slender backend, thick, girthy front?
It’s a unique design for Star Fleet, with a unique engine: a quantum slipstream drive. Coincidentally, the tech was first introduced in Voyager. This means the Dauntless can reach a speed of Warp 9.9, though the technology is missing from Discovery, meaning it likely ended up being one of many failed FTL prototypes of the Federation.
Thankfully the design was also shelved. The Dauntless might be the ugliest ship in Star Trek.
11 – War Rocket Ajax – Flash Gordon 1980 movie

FLASH! Ah ah ah!
Get used to seeing Flash Gordon pop up on this list. Between the serials and the 1980 movie, it’s a treasure trove of retro sci-fi designs which means lots of inappropriate spaceships.
One of the lesser offenders is the War Rocket Ajax, seemingly the only ship in the fleet of Ming the Merciless, the War Rocket Ajax is sent in pursuit of Flash and his team after they attack his city. It’s fast, it’s powerful, and it’s a flying phallus. It’s not even subtle. That’s a giant, gold…
Design for the film was split across different production studios, but the elaborate model used for filming was put together by Martin Bower, who also designed the miniatures used in Blake’s 7, Space 1999, and a little film called Alien.
He was joined by Bill Pearson, who also did the models for Wing Commander, Gravity, and would go on to work on Red Dwarf. Honestly, those credits explain why Flash Gordon’s designs, though suggestive, are so damn cool. War Rocket Ajax looks like the type of ship a six-year old would design. In the world of Flash Gordon, that’s a good thing.
The whole film plays with classic sci-fi tropes and it’s catnip for nerds. War Rocket Ajax being armed to the teeth with lasers, electrifying cloud tech, and housing an entire unit of heavily armed soldiers, makes it one of the coolest ships in sci-fi.
It still looks like a johnson.
10 – Syreen Penetrator – Star Control

It’s a sci-fi video game and not a show or a film, but the classic PC strategy game Star Control needs to be called out, because it has no chill. The Syreen Penetrator isn’t subtle. It has ridges. It’s called the Penetrator. One of its best stats? Thrust.
The Penetrator’s also fast, and it has great range. In the world of Star Control, it also has the unique ability to convert victims into crew. The Penetrator is cheap, it’s effective, but it also runs out of fuel pretty quick and needs time to refuel.
Star Control has some of the wildest alien designs in sci-fi gaming. Every race has their own unique designs and playstyles, but if you haven’t heard of Star Control, that’s because it’s been awhile.
The last mainline game came out in 1996, and the latest is allegedly coming out in 2026. Once it does, every defense needs to be penetrated by the Penetrator at least once.
9 – Heart of Gold – Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy

Not every inappropriate ship is phallic, some are boobs.
Douglas Adams described The Heart of Gold in Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy as a long, pure white ship that looks like a running shoe. It kept that look for the BBC television series, but when it came to the big screen, The Heart of Gold was reimagined into….a boob.

It’s large, perfectly round, and has a noticeable hole in the front of the ship. Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy is, to this day, the greatest sci-fi satire ever written, which is why the film producers deciding to use a teapot as the inspiration instead of the usual sci-fi ship design is the type of thing Douglas Adams would enjoy. They didn’t want to use a penile ship, but instead, they made a flying tit.
The heart of gold at the center of the Heart of Gold is an Infinite Impropability Drive. By accessing every single possibility at once, the engine is able to move the ship to any point in the universe without the need for any hyperspace, or faster than light travel. The downside is that it tends to mess with reality. Turning a nuclear missile into a whale, unleashing party balloons from a hole in space, and briefly turning the entire ship and crew into yarn are a few of the unfortunate, but ultimately safe, side effects from using the Infinite Impropability Drive.
The Heart of Gold looks like a female body part, but it’s also one of the coolest ships in all of sci-fi, and if you haven’t read Douglas Adams’ Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, you need to.
8 – Dr. Gel’s Ship – Space Dandy

Not every ship is inappropriate because it looks like genitalia. There’s some out there that are just downright bizarre. Take for example, the anime Space Dandy. It’s an off the wall space opera stuffed full with references to classic sci-fi. Most episodes end with Dandy and his crew dying, or turning into zombies, then the next episode starts as if nothing ever happened. And then there’s Dr. Gel.
Dr. Gel’s spaceship is one of the weirdest designs you’ll ever see. It’s gigantic, flies vertically, has that cool triangular design to the base of it, and what else sticks out about it….oh right….the giant Statue of Liberty head with a… uh…. in its mouth. That’s…different. The reasoning behind the Statue of Liberty is never explained. It’s likely a Planet of the Apes reference considering Dr. Gel is a genius-level ape. He’s also decked out in red, white, and blue. Because America. Statue of Liberty. It makes sense.
If you’ve never watched Space Dandy, you should. It’s animated by Studio Bones and looks incredible. The sci-fi references are found in every single episode, and the series, obviously, doesn’t take itself seriously. It’s one of the best sci-fi anime out there, and when a show embraces the absurd inappropriate spaceship design trope on purpose, it’s always worth checking out.
7 – Blue Origin Rocket

We need to take a moment and get away from the world of science fiction and made up suggestive spaceships to address the giant johnson in the room.
Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin has done a lot for space exploration, from working on landers for the NASA Artemis Mission, developing an orbital space station, and pushing forward the design of reusable rockets. It also has kept alive the great tradition of suggestive space ships. Forget the successful launches, the impressive scientific and engineering feats that made the rocket possible, Blue Origin’s rocket is phallic. Not slightly. Not “squint and you can see it.” It’s right out there.
I know hundreds, thousands, of people smarter than me have worked on this and that there’s very real mathematical reasons behind the shape of the rocket. You know this too. That doesn’t make it any less amusing. No matter how many successful launches, or massive, historic explosions, take place, the rocket is going to be the butt of jokes.
6 – Nell – Battle Beyond the Stars

Roger Corman’s Battle Beyond the Stars is another 80s classic. It’s another re-telling of Kurosawa’s Seven Samurai, but IN SPAAAACCCEEE.
Made for only $2 million dollars, Battle Beyond the Stars is filled with wild designs and amazing visuals, thanks to the young art director who got his big break working on this film: James Cameron. Maybe you’ve heard of him. One of the ships specifically designed by Cameron was Nell, the space ship used by our hero, Shad, as he rounds up criminals, washed-up gunslingers, and other unlikely heroes to save his planet.
And as you can tell, Nell looks like it has breasts.
You have to credit James Cameron for designing a very different type of space ship. The forward facing arms are the opposite of the typical rear thrusters you see in sci-fi, from everything including the Enterprise-D to Serenity, which makes Nell instantly recognizable. It’s the two low-hanging compartments at the bottom of the ship that make it, well, also instantly recognizable.
Nell make look different, but in the world of Battle Beyond the Stars, it’s an outdated, older ship with only a pair of wing-mounted laser cannons to take into the climatic battle for the fate of Akira. Most of the ship is taken up by a trio of engines, giving it a speed advantage in battle to compensate for the weak firepower.
Nell’s design is so iconic that models of the ship were popular for years after the film’s release. Corman reused the design again three years later in other movies, including Space Raiders. It’s the only ship on this list that can claim to be designed by James Cameron, and the only one that looks like a bosom. Can’t forget that.
5 – Zarkov’s Spaceship – Flash Gordon

Flash Gordon is a sci-fi classic. The old adventure serials helped establish a lot of the sci-fi tropes we still see today, including a rocket that looks exactly like a part of the male anatomy. Brilliant inventor Hans Zarkov built his rocket by hand, and somehow, it works. The girthy ship is able to bring Flash, Zarkov, and Dale Arden to the planet of Ming the Merciless. It’s not the fastest ship out there, but it gets the job done.
Unlike every ship on this list, Zarkov’s rocket is never shown going fast enough to break the speed of light. Instead, in the old serials and television show, it’s mentioned to be flying 1200 miles per hour. That’s fast, but to put it in perspective, that speed would take you about 7 years to get to Mars. Back when Flash Gordon was first created, 1200 miles per hour was a ludicrous speed. Comic artist Alex Raymond first developed the look for Zarkov’s ship in 1933.
It first appeared in a 1936 film serial, making this design 90 years old. The intention was for it to be a bullet with fins. That’s….not what it looks like. The old-school retro-futuristic style of science fiction is filled with ships like Zarkov’s that look exactly like a body part. There’s no getting around it. Old book and magazine covers don’t hide the phallic influence. The real science behind this is that a long, cylindrical shape is aerodynamic and able to move through air without much friction.
Add some engines to the back of a long, firm, cylindrical shape and well…. you get the idea.
4 – Kryptonian Dropships – Man of Steel

In case you thought inappropriate spaceship designs were all found last century, here comes one you probably forgot all about: Man of Steel’s Kryptonian Dropships. Zach Snyder’s reimagining of Superman for a new century may have divided fans, and there’s a lot to say about Snyder’s sense of style, but at least he has one. For better or worse. In this case, it was for worse, as he purposely wanted the dropships to look phallic as an ode to the retro sci-fi of the 50s.
All of the Kryptonian ships in fact, look a little suspect. The prison ships bound for the Phantom Zone? Incredibly suggestive. Clark’s escape pod? It looks like a sperm. And yes, it’s all intentional. Zach Snyder developed the idea that Kryptonian technology was based around birth. Kryptonians had trouble giving birth the natural way, and so this ended up influencing their entire culture. From birthing pods to their spaceship design.
When General Zod’s Kryptonians reappear in The Flash, they have the same ship designs, so at least the DCU was consistent about giant flying space phallusees.
Also inappropriate? General Zod’s hair.
3 – The Stratosphere – Flesh Gordon

Remember back in the day when adult film parodies had creative titles? Typically obviously bad puns, like Flesh Gordon? Now a days it’s all Batman XXX or just straight up The Big Bang Theory. There’s no art to it anymore. And amazingly, Flesh Gordon is more inventive then most parodies of the last few decades.
Released in 1974, the spoof of the original Flash Gordon serial was obviously put together by sci-fi fans. It pokes fun at the absurdity of the original series while throwing a little naked flesh up on screen. That’s not the memorable part.
Flesh Gordon took the design of Zarkov’s rocketship and turned into an actual dong. There is no denying that ship is a flying dong. The intentional choice to point out every retro spaceship has a phallic design is a sight gag that still gets passed around today on social media.
The best part is, they didn’t have to change a lot from the original Zarkov design. Flesh Gordon changed all the names because of well, parody law, including Ming the Merciless to Emperor Wang the Perverted, Zarkov is Jerkoff, and Prince Barin is now Prince Precious. It’s campy, it’s over the top, and it was nominated for a Hugo award in 1975, which makes it legitimate enough to qualify for this list. I don’t know what to tell you. The 70s were a very different time.
2 – Alien Ship – The Explorers

Dumped into the summer box office of 1985 only nine days after the release of Back to the Future, The Explorers was a complete flop that, as with most sci-fi of the 80s, became a cult classic on VHS. Directed by Joe Dante and starring both Ethan Hawke and River Phoenix in their debut roles, The Explorers is a fun, family-friendly adventure through space in a homemade spaceship. There’s nothing wrong with the boys’ ship, Thunder Road, but well, look up and you’ll see what one of the alien ships looks like.
Oh come on. Seriously!? There’s even a hole in the tip.
There is absolutely no question what that ship looks like. Joe Dante had to have done this on purpose. It would fit his sense of humor. I’m going to tell myself this was on purpose. That giant ship is piloted by the father of two aliens the boys meet who learned about Earth from television reruns.
That gag in Futurama about Single Female Lawyer? It came from The Explorers. One of the aliens, Wak, and Wak’s dad, are both played by Star Trek and Stargate veteran Robert Picardo.
The Explorers is a fun film, right up until they meet the aliens, and then it all falls apart. You have to admit, the alien ship may a little inappropriate, but Thunder Road has a cool, semi-truck design to it that makes it stand out in a sea of suggestive spaceships.
1 – Lexx – Lexx

There’s nothing quite like Lexx. One of the lowest budgets of any sci-fi series of the 90s didn’t stop the production team from going nuts when designing Lexx, the most powerful weapon in both universes.
The organic spaceship resembles a giant insect, until you see it from behind, and then you can tell it’s packing.
The inside of the Lexx is also completely organic, leading to a lot of pulling and tugging on flesh for basic functions, from steering the ship to taking a shower.

Every inch of the ship is a reminder that Lexx is the most sex-obsessed sci-fi series ever made. Not even Flesh Gordon talked about it as much as the crew of the Lexx. Thankfully, we know Lexx was designed to be as suggestive as possible. The production crew have bene very up front about that, usually while giggling in interviews. The ship even had a male voice and a male personality, except for that one time it turned into a female weapon of mass destruction.
Lexx itself didn’t have a good grasp on the concept of human mating, giving its Captain, Stanley, one of the worst people in existence, a hard time when he wanted to fly to a planet of loose women.
No ship is more phallic than Lexx. That’s by design, but as you can tell, the production crew had to somehow outdo over 80 years of inappropriate ship design to put it together. Lexx is also the most powerful ship on this list, capable of destroying entire planets, devouring countless civilians, and it’s the only ship to eat Holland.
Inside and out, nothing will ever beat Lexx when it comes to being inappropriate.

Man Arrested for Boxer Hannah Rapp’s Death Has Arrest Record
The man arrested for manslaughter in connection to the death of boxer Hannah Rapp has a history of facing legal trouble for his alleged actions behind the wheel.
Charles Medina is accused of fatally striking Rapp with his vehicle while she was riding her bike in College Station, Texas on Saturday, July 18. She was 26.
Jail records reviewed by Us show that Medina, 31, was first arrested for reckless driving and evading arrest with a vehicle in 2012. He pled guilty to both counts. He was again arrested for reckless driving in 2014, then for his alleged involvement in a hit-and-run in 2020.
Medina is also involved in two cases that remain open: a 2024 arrest for deadly conduct in the discharge of a firearm and another for evading arrest in 2025.
Medina is accused of passing two cyclists on Saturday morning before stopping and reversing, striking one of them, later identified as Rapp, who died at a local hospital. She was riding alongside her boyfriend, Will Pollalis, at the time, local outlets reported.
“On Saturday, July 18, 2026, just before 10:00 a.m., deputies with the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the 2300 block of FM 150 in reference to a major crash involving a vehicle and a bicyclist,” read a statement issued via Facebook on Saturday by the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office.
The statement continued, “Initial reports indicated that a vehicle had struck a bicyclist, leaving an adult female lying in the roadway. First responders arrived on scene and provided emergency medical care before the victim was transported to a local hospital. Despite lifesaving efforts, she later passed away at the hospital.”
Rapp was an Indiana native and Purdue University graduate who competed for the Boilermakers’ track and field team. She turned to boxing in 2024 while working as a fire and life safety inspector at Texas A&M University and had started her career 8-0-1.
Rapp’s first defeat came in June 2026 when she fell by unanimous decision to Tiara Brown in a bout for the WBC women’s featherweight title.
Brown, 38, remembered Rapp in an Instagram tribute on Saturday, posting a photo via her Story of the two hugging in the ring and another black-and-white picture of Rapp posing for the camera.
“I will never let your name fade Hanna [sic],” she wrote.
“When you asked for my autograph, it filled my heart because we were getting ready for war, yet she was still asking for my autograph,” Brown added in the comments section of a separate post “It made me smile, we fought a GREAT fight for the fans from the 1st bell to the last! It was my honor to share the ring with her.”

Carole Radziwill Addresses Epstein Rumors in RHONY Trailer
Carole Radziwill is bringing big drama to the Big Apple.
In The Real Housewives of New York City season 16 trailer released by Bravo on Tuesday, July 21, Carole, 62, makes her highly anticipated return to the franchise with her signature candor, unmistakable point of view and some rumors about her past.
“The Epstein files,” one person is overheard shouting when Carole films a scene with Erin Lichy. “She’s the one from the Epstein files.”
In another scene, Sai de Silva asks if her costar has ever been to the notorious island where Epstein allegedly committed some of his crimes.
“No!” Carole strongly responds. “You think I’m part of an international sex trafficking ring?”
Carole’s name and past communications with Ghislaine Maxwell previously surfaced in unsealed documents. The Bravo star has never been accused of any wrongdoing.

“Imagine knowing someone and even being friendly with them and then they turn out to be, like, a monster,” Carole previously told The New York Times in March. “The thing about her that made it easy for me to spend any time with her at all was that she was very intelligent, she was educated. If you lined up 10 women and you asked, like, pick the woman who would be involved in an international sex trafficking ring, it would not be her.”
Carole’s past, however, is only a slice of what’s to come in season 16 of Bravo’s beloved reality show.
Sai, 45, Erin, 39, and Jessel Taank are set to join newcomers Hailey Glassman, Erika Hammond and Daisy Toye for a season filled with twists and turns.
“The city that never sleeps lights up when this ambitious group of Housewives takes on another unforgettable season,” Bravo teased. “From the concrete jungle to the sandy beaches of a private island, they work hard and play even harder as some friendships grow stronger, new ones form and others take unexpected turns. When pieces of the past resurface and new tensions emerge, the women find themselves navigating shifting loyalties and fractured friendships.”

Carole Radziwill Bravo
Based on the trailer, Jessel, 46, appears to be at odds with Erin when she accuses her costar of being a “one-man Ponzi scheme.”
Elsewhere, Martha Stewart makes a cameo appearance to support her makeup artist and friend Daisy, 45.
“What do you have in this kitchen? Store bought pie?! Oh come on,” Martha, 84, says. “There’s so much to do here.”
Viewers can also count on an unforgettable cast trip, lavish spending and shocking feuds.
“Let’s toast to authenticity,” Sai says in one scene. “Let’s toast to honesty, to living fully in who we are because some of us are not there yet.”
The Real Housewives of New York City season 16 returns on Bravo Tuesday, September 8 at 8 p.m. ET. Stream new episodes the next day on Peacock.

Avengers: Doomsday Smashes Advance Ticket Sales With Massive $16.5 Million Opening Day : Coastal House Media
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has shared his most candid comments yet about the troubled development of Marvel’s long-delayed Blade reboot, admitting he feels personally responsible for the project never getting off the ground with Academy Award-winning actor Mahershala Ali.
Speaking during a recent interview with the Happy Sad Confused podcast while promoting Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Feige reflected on the six-plus years of setbacks surrounding the highly anticipated reboot, calling it one of the biggest disappointments of his career.
“I feel like a gigantic loser and failure that we didn’t get off the ground with Mahershala Ali.”
Marvel first announced Ali as the MCU’s new Blade during San Diego Comic-Con in 2019, generating enormous excitement among fans. However, the project soon became one of the studio’s most troubled productions, cycling through multiple writers, directors, release dates, and creative overhauls before ultimately being removed from Disney’s theatrical calendar.
According to Feige, Marvel ultimately chose not to force the film into production unless it met the studio’s expectations.
“We weren’t going to make it until it was insanely great,” Feige explained, emphasizing that the character deserved the best possible introduction into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The reboot has endured years of production challenges, including changes in creative leadership, multiple screenplay rewrites, scheduling issues, and delays caused by the Hollywood strikes. Despite the setbacks, Feige indicated that Marvel has not abandoned the character entirely. The film remains in development, and Mahershala Ali is still reportedly attached to star if the project eventually moves forward.
The comments also come after Wesley Snipes made his surprise return as Blade in Deadpool & Wolverine, a cameo that reignited fan enthusiasm for the iconic vampire hunter while also raising new questions about the future of Ali’s version of the character.
For now, Marvel’s focus remains on upcoming projects including Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Avengers: Doomsday, while Blade continues to wait for the right creative direction.
Whether Mahershala Ali will eventually wield the Daywalker’s sword on the big screen remains one of the MCU’s biggest unanswered questions.

Anthony Edwards To Pay Ayesha Howard $3K In Child Support
After more than a year tussling in court, Ayesha Howard and Anthony Edwards have reached the end point of their child support case. The ex-lovers share a daughter named Aubri Summer Edwards, who was born in October 2024.
Howard is also the mother of Lil Baby’s eldest son, Jason, while Edwards reportedly has three additional children with three other women.

Anthony Edwards To Pay Over $3,000 In Monthly Child Support
According to TMZ, a Georgia judge has settled the child support dispute between Anthony Edwards and Howard regarding their 1-year-old. The Minnesota Timberwolves player will have to pay Ayesha $3,222 monthly for Aubri. This amount appeared to rely on income information from both parents. His income was reportedly listed as over $200 million, while Ayesha’s was listed as zero. Additionally, Howard was allegedly a no-show at trial and failed to present evidence to the court in support of her claims.
Anthony Has Been Paying Ayesha Since 2025
While going through the legal channels, Ayesha Howard was reportedly already receiving child support for Aubri. TMZ reports that Anthony Edwards began cutting checks in January 2025. He reportedly paid his ex-boo $20,000, then paid another $5,000 through the date of their trial. So far, per TMZ, he’s paid Howard $110,000 in child support. Neither parent has addressed the recent child support ruling.
More Details From The Child Support Case
As previously reported, this child support case has been going on since the fall of 2024. That December, a court-ordered DNA test proved that Anthony Edwards was the father of Ayesha Howard’s daughter. A few months later, in February 2025, court documents stated that Edwards had denied custody or visitation rights. Instead, the pro-baller appeared to be only interested in settling financial support for the then-infant. At one point, each parent was tussling in court over which state their case should be reviewed in. Ayesha filed in California, while Anthony filed in Georgia — where the case concluded. Last year, Ayesha twice denied social media rumors that Anthony Edwards had paid her a $1 million lump-sum child support payment.

Mary Jo Buttafuoco Reacts to Amy Fisher’s Son Being Arrested
Mary Jo Connery (formerly Mary Jo Buttafuoco) reacted to Amy Fisher’s son Brett Anthony Bellera’s arrest more than three decades after she and Fisher were involved in the “Long Island Lolita” case.
“I have known about this kid and his issues for years now. It’s about time someone has put it out there,” Connery, 71, told NewsNation in a statement on Tuesday, July 21. “This kid never had a chance.”
Connery continued the statement by making a snide comment about how Fisher, 51, now makes money. “I suggest you reach out to his mother at Streamate … a porn site. Are we surprised??” she said.
Fisher made headlines when she shot Connery, who was married to Fisher’s lover Joey Buttafuoco, in the face in 1992 when she was just 17 years old.
Connery survived the shooting, but was left with permanent facial paralysis from the incident.
Fisher, who became known as the “Long Island Lolita,” was arrested for the incident and served seven years in prison before she was released on parole in 1999. She then married Louis Bellera, whom she shares three children with, and they moved to Florida. However, they have since split and she moved back to Long Island.
Buttafuoco, 70, was also arrested following the shooting and served four months for statutory rape.
Us previously reported that Brett, 25, and his girlfriend, Jennifer Armenti, were both charged with aggravated cruelty to animals after their cat, Reaper, was found burned to death in their Fort Lauderdale, Florida, apartment following a December 2024 incident.
It was determined that the cat died after “involuntary heat exposure,” and it’s believed that the cat sustained the injuries from microwave radiation, being submerged in hot water or exposure to hot water vapor, according to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA)’s forensic necropsy, per WPLG.
Brett was hit with the charges while he was already in police custody on other charges.
WPLG reported that a friend of Brett and Armenti, 36, notified authorities that the cat had died on December 15, 2024. Armenti initially claimed that she found the cat’s body on the bathroom floor and believed he died after ingesting cleaning products. However, animal care employees reported that the cat was found dead on the back patio of the home and was covered in blood while in a laundry basket.
Following an investigation into the matter, Brett was charged earlier in July and Armenti was arrested on Wednesday, July 15.
It’s not currently clear if Brett or Armenti have entered pleas in the recent case.
Brett has a history of legal issues and was first arrested when he was 18. He has been charged with drug and robbery over the years, according to records reviewed by the Daily Mail.
If you know of or suspect animal abuse or neglect, you are urged to contact the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals through their website or call your local animal control officer.

News broke on Tuesday, July 21, that Tenisha Warner filed a lawsuit in DeKalb County Superior Court against his mother, Pamela Warner. Pamela is the successor trustee of the Warner Family Trust, which Malcolm-Jamal set up in 1996.
In court documents obtained by Us Weekly, Tenisha, 48, claimed she is entitled to more than $1.2 million from the trust. Tenisha alleged that the sum is the equivalent of what Malcolm-Jamal had promised her as part of their May 2022 premarital agreement. Tenisha alleged that Malcolm-Jamal did not deliver before his death, explaining that she is a creditor of his estate.
In her complaint, Tenisha alleged that Malcolm-Jamal’s estate is currently unrepresented and “will be inadequate to satisfy” his obligations to her. She claimed that the property of a California-based family trust is liable for his debt to her. While the administration of his estate is contested, Tenisha claimed that her rights are vulnerable.
“Plaintiff performed all obligations required of her under the agreement, including entering into and remaining in the marriage until the decedent’s death,” the lawsuit reads. “The decedent died without having satisfied his obligations under the agreement, and no person or entity has paid or provided the sums due to plaintiff under the agreement.”
The lawsuit is seeking to block Pamela from distributing trust property while the dispute is litigated. In the court documents, Tenisha included a copy of the prenuptial agreement — which was signed before the pair tied the knot in 2022.

The documents indicated that Malcolm-Jamal’s annual earnings were about $680,000 and his net worth was around $3.4 million. At the time, Tenisha was unemployed and had a net worth of about $0. She was pregnant with their second child and had been living together at his properties in Atlanta and Los Angeles, per the agreement.
The agreement noted that Malcolm-Jamal was to buy and maintain a $1 million life insurance policy, where Tenisha was the sole beneficiary, and agreed to get a $1 million life insurance policy on her. She was named as the primary beneficiary.
Tenisha, however, claimed in the court documents that Malcolm-Jamal did not get either insurance policy and alleged that he did not pay her $5,000 per month as his “chief of staff” and give her $16,000 per year on their anniversary. She further alleged that Malcolm-Jamal did not fund a tax-free retirement account for her and maintain college funds for their children.
Tenisha alleged that she is owed at least $1,276,042 plus interest and attorney fees. She also filed a creditor’s claim in the DeKalb County Probate Court against Malcolm-Jamal Warner’s estate, where she sought the same amount.
Malcolm-Jamal drowned in July 2025 on a Costa Rican beach after he was caught in a riptide. He was 54. At the time, Malcolm-Jamal was traveling with Tenisha and their daughter.
Later that year, Pamela spoke out in an interview with Us about what Malcolm-Jamal’s legacy would be.
“What was important to him was integrity,” she said in December 2025. “Your craft is your baby, and you must treat it as such. But more than that, be the best human you can be.”

Kendra Scott Kills Man Found Under Daughter’s Bed In Memphis
Kendra Scott, 36, told police earlier this month that she “did what [she] had to do.” And what she did, allegedly, is fatally shoot a man she found under her 13-year-old daughter’s bed. The story has been sparking debates across social media platforms about who was right and who was wrong. Here’s what we know about how 20-year-old Rodderius Morton died and what’s next for the Memphis mom who allegedly killed him.

Memphis Mom Finds Man Under Her 13-Year-Old’s Bed
According to court documents cited by Fox News, Kendra Scott had previously told a witness at the crime that she’d “put a hole” in the head of any boy she saw in her house. This witness is believed to be Scott’s 13-year-old daughter. On July 17, it appears that’s exactly what went down. Officers responded to a shooting at a home on Travis Road, where they discovered a man dead near Scott’s front porch. He had a gunshot wound to the back of his head. Authorities reportedly identified the man as Rodderius Morton. He did not have a weapon at the time of the shooting.
“I saw a dude under my kid’s bed and I did what I had to do,” Kendra Scott reportedly told police following the incident.
The same aforementioned witness at the scene told investigators that the Memphis mom had arrived home between 1:30 a.m. and 1:40 p.m., per Fox News and NewsNation. Upon arrival, she allegedly began knocking on the front door and yelling, “Who’s at my house?” Ultimately, a minor child allowed Kendra in the home and she discovered 20-year-old Morton hiding under her daughter’s bed. As Morton prepared to leave the home, he and Scott allegedly got into an argument. She allegedly yelled “Get out of my house, b*tch!” and once they both made it to the front porch, a gunshot rang out. Morton had entered the residence at around 1 a.m. through the back door after allegedly being invited in.
Kendra Scott Bond Set At $100,000 After Fatal Shooting
Kendra Scott appeared in court on Monday (July 20), per NewsNation. By the end of it, a judge set her bond to $100,000. Prosecutors charged the 36-year-old with first-degree murder and employing a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony. Meanwhile, her defense attorney, Blake Ballin, has said they’re unclear whether the ‘Stand Your Ground’ law will apply.
“I don’t know enough about what led to the actual shooting. I don’t know if there was a scuffle, I don’t know if there was an accidental discharge, I just don’t know,” Ballin said, per Fox News.
Also, Kendra Scott is not allowed to have contact with Morton’s family. She will return to court on August 3, per Fox 12/KPTV.
Former Teacher Of Rodderius Morton Speaks Out
Robin Perkins is reportedly a special-needs educator who formerly taught Rodderius Morton. She spoke to WREG about her experience with him, describing him as a former special-needs student who was sweet. Perkins shared her belief that Kendra Scott could’ve handled the situation differently, in a way that didn’t end with Morton’s death. Additionally, she claimed Morton’s death shocked her. To her, he was a soft-spoken, respectful kid who had been diagnosed with learning disabilities. However, she denied supporting his linking up with a 13-year-old.
“Unbelievable, very, very hurt. Because the young man that I knew, most people, based off this story they don’t know the young man like I did,” Robin Perkins said. “I do not condone his actions of going and mingling with a 13-year-old. However, when you’re not 20, what do you expect? And then I found out last night from his sister that no one knew that he was gone from the house.”

Mom Arrested After Waiting to Report Autistic Child Missing
A mother in Florida was arrested after she waited to report her autistic daughter as missing, instead taking a shower before informing authorities of the child’s disappearance.
Amy Brooke Evans was taken into custody and was charged with one count of child abuse by simple neglect following an incident that took place earlier in July.
The Leesburg Police Department stated in a probable cause affidavit obtained by Us that officers responded to a shopping center in Lake County shortly before noon on July 9 after they received reports of a child walking alone through the parking lot “with a soiled diaper, wearing one shoe, and no parents seen nearby.”
The witness who called authorities told police that she spotted the child wandering through the parking lot and she brought him inside of a department store as they waited for help. After noting that the child appeared to be nonverbal and seemed to have “a severe mental disability,” she said that she and others searched the area for a parent or guardian before she called 911.
Another shopper told investigators that the child knocked on her vehicle window. She said there were no adults nearby and she reportedly noticed that there was feces smeared on the jacket that the child was holding.
Officers found the child with fecal residue on the body and clothing, while her diaper was “heavily soiled” and “appeared to have not been changed in the last 24 hours,” per the affidavit.
Investigators reportedly saw multiple bruises on the child’s arms and legs, while they also noted that he had several wounds to the arms, legs and hands. Officers then recruited the help of paramedics, who transported the child to a hospital for further evaluation.
As the investigation continued, Evans, 40, called 911 to report that the child was missing from a residence about 0.3 miles away. Evans said she had taken a shower for “no more than an hour” and her boyfriend was sleeping on the couch at the time her child went missing. She added that she realized that the child was gone when she got out of the shower.
Evans reportedly declined to provide a written statement, as well as gave inconsistent answers about where she lived. Officers noted that she appeared “apprehensive, fidgeting, leaning excessively, and would ‘zone out’” while she was being questioned, which suggested she “may have been under the influence of narcotics.”
Police asked Evans for a recent photo of the missing child, and she showed officers one picture that was taken one year earlier. Evans also allegedly claimed that the child had become autistic and nonverbal “out of the blue.”
Evans and her roommate gave drastically different accounts of what happened, which were both detailed in the affidavit.
The roommate told investigators that Evans did not appear concerned when she discovered her child was missing and was “more concerned with taking a shower first and becoming presentable before calling the police to report the victim missing.”
Additionally, the roommate told officers that the child “always appears dirty and unkempt” and implied Evans might not know how to properly care for the child.
Once the child made it to the hospital, staff found what appeared to be a cigarette burn on the child’s left arm. Medical personnel also found several bruises and scars, though indicated that some of the injuries could have been self-inflicted.
Investigators eventually concluded that Evans willfully failed to provide the supervision and care required for a child that’s severely autistic and nonverbal. She was then arrested and booked into the Lake County Jail on $10,000 bond. Evans is next scheduled to appear in court for her arraignment hearing on August 3.
It is not currently clear if Evans has entered a plea or retained legal counsel following her arrest.
