There’s no better activity than getting cozy with a blanket and a movie, no matter the season or weather. The best kinds of movies to watch in such for getting ultimately cozy and comfortable are, undoubtedly, heartwarming romantic movies. Fans of cozy romance movies have a large movie library to choose from, but how about giving a chance to some South Korean ones?
South Korea is known for its romantic K-dramas with incredible stories and slow-burn love, but its romantic feature films tend to take a backseat in the eyes of international audiences. This makes sense, as K-dramas span several episodes and allow viewers to get to know the characters much better. However, romantic feature films from South Korea have the same sentiment but convey their love stories much better. They’re a quick rollercoaster of feelings, heartwarming and heartbreaking alike, making them ideal for those cold winter moments.

One of Korea’s biggest action stars, Lee Byung-hun, is also a well-known heartthrob among South Korean movie fans. He started acting in 1991 and has had various roles since, from cold-blooded vigilantes to romantic leads. One of his unique roles was in the romantic drama Bungee Jumping of Their Own from 2001, which was a bit controversial at the time. Though imperfect in some ways, it’s an interesting love story that depicts the idea of having “the one,” a person who’s meant for us.
Lee Byung-hun and Lee Eun-ju play two young students, In-woo and Tae-hee, who get to know each other and fall in love. When their romance blossoms, things seem to be going well, but suddenly, Tae-hee gets involved in a car accident and dies. In-woo, heartbroken, continues his life, and 17 years later, the story shows him as a high school teacher. When In-woo gets a new student, Hyun-bin, he notices similarities between him and his former love, Tae-hee. The story unfolds, depicting struggles with self-acceptance, self-discovery, and the idea that there’s always that one person in someone’s life.

‘Love and Leashes’ (2022)

Love and Leashes may be an unusual choice for a great romantic movie, but this rom-com has a lot of surprising elements that will make you chuckle and say “awww.” It’s an unconventional love story and one that’s potentially more realistic than many of the most romantic K-movies. Why? It incorporates sexual desires into its central theme, and a couple who fall in love through exploration of each other’s hidden preferences. Love and Leashes isn’t the first kind of movie to be this open about different types of love, but it’s one of the most prominent recent ones that won over a large audience, mostly due to its Netflix streaming slot.
Love and Leashes follows two employees in a PR firm, Ji-hoo (Lee Jun-young) and Ji-woo (Seohyun). Ji-woo, Ji-hoo’s senior, accidentally learns one day that he is into BDSM, and he asks her to enter such a relationship with him. At first, it’s purely transactional, but then Ji-woo gains more confidence in herself, and the two inevitably fall in love. There’s not a lot of melodrama, but Love and Leashes is just as endearing and romantic as the rest of these movies.

‘On Your Wedding Day’ (2018)
On Your Wedding Day is a romance drama directed by Lee Seok-geun. Park Bo-young and Kim Young-kwang, who had previously collaborated on a film in 2014, maintained their impressive on-screen chemistry. Filming took place from September to December 2017, mostly in Seoul, and the ten-year storyline is meant to show believable character growth from the periods of adolescence to adulthood. The film was a box-office success in Korea and was well-received among wider audiences because of how relatable, romantic, heartfelt, and humorous it is.
On Your Wedding Day follows Woo-yeon (Kim), who receives a wedding invitation from his high school love, Seung-hee (Park). The film then takes a nostalgic look back on their long relationship, starting with Woo-yeon’s teen crush on Seung-hee and going through all the troubles and joys of growing up and love. However, instead of a typical fairy-tale love story, we’re shown the fleeting nature of life, showing that romance and affection aren’t always enough, and that people outgrow each other. The realistic portrayal of first love, which is not always “meant to be,” is what makes On Your Wedding Day memorable long after the credits have rolled, but it is an ending you might not expect.

‘Sweet & Sour’ (2021)
Sweet & Sour is one of the newer South Korean romantic comedies that comes from Netflix, which has produced some great K-romance movies over the past few years (great examples are Love and Leashes and 20th Century Girl). It portrays a couple, Da-eun and Hyuk (Chae Soo-bin and Jang Ki-yong), who become close after Da-eun takes care of him at the hospital where he is her patient. They enter a relationship that soon becomes long-distance because Hyuk accepts a job in Seoul, whereas they live in Incheon.
Hyuk’s traveling back and forth puts a strain on their relationship, evolving the story into a more complex analysis of emotional neglect—both of oneself and their partner—the working and overworking culture, and long-distance romance. The twist at the end is another great part of what makes Sweet & Sour rewatchable and relatable. Though many viewers feel that the ending is disappointing, it shows that happy endings aren’t always realistic and that romance is sometimes like that.

‘Love 911’ (2012)
Love 911 is a romance drama about healing and unexpected connections directed by Jeong Gi-hun. The film balances action, drama, and romance, alternating between fiery rescues and dramatic suspense and soft moments that reveal the characters’ inner selves. Love 911 garnered praise for its performances and chemistry, while Han Hyo-joo received a Best Actress nomination at the 49th Baeksang Arts Awards for her role. Love 911 depicts a romance that develops through the messy and painful, yet ultimately rewarding work of caring for another person by combining the thrill that first responders experience with the slow, imperfect process of emotional healing.
Love 911 follows Kang-il (Go Soo), a devoted firefighter troubled by his wife’s tragic death, and Mi-soo (Han), a tough, career-driven doctor whose initial motive for pursuing Kang-il is less than honorable. After a misdiagnosis causes Mi-soo’s career problems, she attempts to get closer to Kang-il in the hopes of establishing a case, but her strategy backfires as the two clash and slowly start to understand each other’s pasts and inner lives. Love 911 depicts two closed-off people developing a beautiful, honest romance while coping with grief, guilt, and the possibility of moving on.

‘Always’ (2011)

Always is a melodrama starring So Ji-sub and Han Hyo-joo, who were at the height of their popularity at the start of the 2010s. So Ji-sub plays a former boxer, Cheol-min, whose rough exterior slowly gets broken down by a blind girl, Jung-hwa (Han Hyo-joo). They meet at his new job, a parking attendant booth, where Cheol-min sits and observes the world passing him by. Jung-hwa is optimistic and relentless in tearing down Cheol-min’s walls, but their romance has rocky moments and chilly periods.
This romantic drama has it all: a great-looking tough guy with a kind heart, a beautiful girl whose life didn’t go as planned, but she doesn’t give up, and an unbreakable bond between the two that tugs at the heartstrings. The performances in Always are superb, if not a tad overdramatic, but, as any fan of cheesy South Korean dramas will know, this is how it’s done over there. Letting the emotion in without judging the melodramatics will help viewers enjoy a wonderfully made romance.

‘Moonlit Winter’ (2019)
Moonlit Winter is a touching drama that covers many topics, from coming-of-age to forbidden love. Yoon-hee (Kim Hee-ae) lives in the Korean countryside with her teenage daughter Sae-bom (Sohye). Sae-bom finds a love letter in her mother’s possessions one day, which she discovers was sent to her mom from a woman named Jun (Yuko Nakamura) in Japan. Seeing her mother’s loneliness, Sae-bom decides to reunite her mother with the Japanese woman, awakening a decades-old romance that remained hidden for so long.
While the movie follows Sae-bom’s maturing and compassion, it also gives Yoon-hee a second chance to finally live as the woman she always wanted to be. This second life, as well as meeting her first love, Jun, encourages Yoon-hee to embrace herself and make bolder choices that make her happy. While it’s a movie about a queer romance, it’s also a love story that encapsulates more than just romantic love. Moonlit Winter is a visually gorgeous and touching romance for anyone looking for a good cry.

‘Architecture 101’ (2012)

Interestingly enough, Architecture 101 had a largely male audience to thank for its impeccable run at the South Korean box office. Architecture 101 was a breakthrough hit upon release and is often cited among must-watch South Korean movies, whether in the romantic category or in general. While that could be solely due to Bae Suzy, the most popular actress of the 2010s, portraying the younger version of her character, So-yeon, there’s a lot more appealing and beautiful to this movie than just her.
Architecture 101 is a story about two architects, Seung-min (Uhm Tae-woong) and So-yeon (Han Ga-in). So-yeon approaches Seung-min to ask him to redesign her Jeju Island home, and while they work on the house, the two grow closer. The movie also introduces a flashback to the time when the two attended college, and it’s revealed that they met while they were students. Architecture 101 is a bittersweet exploration of lost love, entwined with beautiful displays of impeccable architecture. Director Lee studied architecture himself at university, and collaborated with another famous architect to get the details in the movie right; in that way, it’s also a love letter to architecture, here depicted as an art form.

‘Be With You’ (2018)
Another So Ji-sub romance, Be With You, is one of the most popular movies of 2018. This could be because of him or because of his co-star Son Ye-jin (Crash Landing on You), who was the sweetheart of the romance genre at the time (and remains for so many of us). Be With You is a remake of the Japanese drama of the same name, and even the trailer for this movie is a tearfest.
The movie follows Woo-jin, who’s unexpectedly left to raise his son alone after the premature death of his wife, Soo-ah. Before dying, Soo-ah makes a promise to return in the rainy season. Woo-jin soon realizes that Soo-ah miraculously manages to fulfill that promise, but when she does return, her memory is wiped. Woo-jin must show Soo-ah why and how they fell in love, reinventing their romance and getting another chance to hold each other before it gets too late. As the publication London Korean Links said, “If you’re not blubbing uncontrollably at various points in this lovely thing, you are a heartless brute.”

‘Spellbound’ (2011)
Son Ye-jin looking excited and joyful in SpellboundImage via CJ Entertainment
Spellboundis a romantic comedy with a supernatural twist, and another film starring Son Ye-jin. The movie blends comedy, romance, and horror elements to create a unique tone uncommon in typical South Korean (or global) rom-coms. Supernatural gained a great box office success, with Asian audiences in particular; the movie even got a Philippine remake in 2023, though the original Spellbound remains a staple of quirky, offbeat K-romances.
Spellbound follows Yeo-ri (Son), a woman cursed with the ability to see ghosts, which has made her life lonely and awkward as spirits periodically appear around her without warning. Her world changes when Ma Jo-goo (Lee Min-ki), a charismatic magician, notices her unusual talent and recruits her for his act, partly because her talent and ability add a chilling effect beneficial to his performances. As the two grow closer, their relationship unfolds with a mix of humor, scares, and genuine emotion, forcing Yeo-ri to confront both her fear of isolation and the possibility of love.

There’s no shortage of content aimed at dads, especially if they subscribe to Prime Video. The platform keeps a steady stream of films and shows flowing to their home screens, likely influenced by repeated re-watches of Bosch and Reacher. More recently, the demographic was treated to the buddy action film The Wrecking Crew, starring Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista. The Prime Video viewership charts typically have at least one spot reserved at all times for a movie starring Jason Statham; that’s just how popular he is. And now, a new film targeted at the exact same audience has proven why the platform is the hub for action-thrillers for older men.
Amazon MGM Studios gave the movie a theatrical run a few weeks ago, but it was hardly as successful at the box office as the more recent Project Hail Mary. Imagine how massive that sci-fi movie will be on streaming in a few weeks’ time, even if Amazon decides to jump the gun and cut short its stupendous theatrical run. The new crime-thriller features a stacked cast including Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Halle Berry, Barry Keoghan, and Monica Barbaro, who was probably cast before she received an Oscar nomination for her performance in 2025’s A Complete Unknown.
Whether you’re an innie or an outie, you’ve undoubtedly enjoyed the workplace comedies of Adam Scott. Let’s all cater to this state auditor.

Here’s the New Number One Movie on Prime Video
We’re talking, of course, about the film Crime 101. Directed by Bart Layton, Crime 101received positive reviews upon its theatrical debut in February. It’s now sitting at a “Certified Fresh” 89% critics’ score and an 85% audience score on the aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, where the consensus reads, “Crime 101 has studied the greats of L.A. Noir closely and shows its homework with sleek action set pieces and vivid characterizations, receiving top marks and graduating near the top of its class.” The movie has been compared to the genre classic Heat, which has influenced more recent heist movies such as The Town and Den of Thieves. However, the positive reviews weren’t enough for Crime 101 to be deemed a hit. It grossed a little more than $70 million worldwide against a reported budget of $90 million. But it’s being promoted as a Prime Video “original” outside the United States, and considering how popular Hemsworth is on streaming thanks to the Extraction franchise, Crime 101 certainly has a bright future ahead of it. According to FlixPatrol, it’s Prime Video’s number one film in the world. Stay tuned to Collider for more updates.

When people talk about great animated movies for kids, the conversation usually circles back to familiar comfort watches. The safe ones. The reassuring ones. The ones that remind audiences that everything will be okay. And then there’s Coraline.
Released in 2009 by Laika Studios and based on the novel of the same name by Neil Gaiman, Coraline remains one of the most unsettling “children’s movies” ever made. Seventeen years later, it still stands apart from mainstream family animation because it does something most studios — especially Disney — tend to avoid: it doesn’t protect kids from fear. Instead, it argues something far more radical: fear is necessary, danger is real, and courage only matters when things genuinely feel hopeless. That’s exactly what makes Coraline feel like the anti-Disney movie.

‘Coraline’ Refuses To Sanitize Horror for Young Audiences
Most family films that flirt with horror quickly soften the edges. The scary elements are balanced with humor or quick reassurance. Even when danger appears, it rarely feels permanent. Coraline takes the opposite approach. From its opening sequence showing a doll being dissected and rebuilt, the film establishes a tone closer to gothic horror like you’d expect to see in a Guillermo del Toro film than traditional family animation. The stop-motion aesthetic only enhances the discomfort, with slightly unnatural character movements creating a constant sense that something is wrong.
Then the Other Mother appears. Unlike many animated villains, the Beldam isn’t theatrical at first. She’s attentive and perfect. She represents wish fulfillment rather than obvious danger, which makes her far more psychologically terrifying than typical animated antagonists. Where Disney villains often signal evil through spectacle, the Other Mother weaponizes comfort. She doesn’t overtly threaten Coraline: she offers her everything she thinks she wants. That’s what makes the horror effective. The film understands that the scariest threats aren’t always monsters, but situations that feel too good to be true.
‘Coraline’ Understands That Childhood Fear Is Real Fear
What separates Coraline from traditional animated storytelling is how seriously it takes a child’s emotional reality. Coraline isn’t afraid because she’s weak, she’s afraid because she’s facing something genuinely terrifying. Too often, family films treat childhood fear as something to be corrected. Adults reassure the child, and the danger turns out to be harmless. Coraline doesn’t do that. The Other World is not misunderstood, the Beldam is not redeemable, and the danger is not imaginary. Coraline is right to be afraid, and she has to face it largely alone.
Her real parents are emotionally distant at the start, distracted by work rather than cruelty. This is another way Coraline diverges from typical animated storytelling. Many children’s films remove parents entirely. Dead parents are practically a genre tradition. But Coraline does something more realistic. Her parents are present, they just aren’t fully available. That distinction reflects a truth many kids understand: sometimes adults aren’t villains, sometimes they’re just overwhelmed. The film doesn’t punish them with death, but allows both real parents to live and remain flawed people who still love their child. That’s a far more mature message than most animated films attempt.
Another reason Coraline feels so different is that its horror has weight, because the film shows the cost of failure. The ghost children trapped by the Beldam aren’t warnings: they’re casualties. They failed, they died, and they remain imprisoned because they couldn’t escape. That’s heavy material for a film aimed at younger audiences. Instead of diluting this darkness, the movie uses it to reinforce Coraline’s bravery. Her victory isn’t guaranteed. She isn’t special because she’s destined to win. She wins because she refuses to give up even when she’s terrified. The film also doesn’t pretend bravery eliminates fear. Coraline is scared the entire time. Courage isn’t fearlessness: it’s persistence. That distinction is subtle but powerful.
‘Coraline’ Is Ultimately About Choosing Reality Over Fantasy
Coraline crawling through a dark tunnel in CoralineImage via Focus Features.
At its core, Coraline isn’t really about defeating a monster: it’s about rejecting a fantasy. The Other World represents escapism. It offers better food, more attention, and seemingly perfect parents. It’s everything Coraline thinks she wants. But perfection comes with a price: control. The button eyes symbolize surrendering agency for comfort. Coraline’s refusal isn’t just about survival — it’s about maintaining her identity. Instead of promising kids a perfect world, Coraline tells them something harder: real life is imperfect, and that’s why it matters. By the end, Coraline doesn’t get better parents. She gets the same parents trying a little harder, and she’s trying too. The victory isn’t a magical transformation, it’s mutual understanding.
Seventeen years later, Coraline still feels bold because it trusts young audiences in ways many modern family films don’t. It trusts them to handle discomfort. It trusts them to understand emotional complexity. It trusts them to sit with fear. And most importantly, it understands scary stories aren’t harmful when they’re honest. Like original fairy tales, its danger exists to teach resilience. That may be why the film’s reputation has only grown: Coraline remains proof that family films don’t have to avoid darkness to be meaningful.
Because what makes Coraline endure isn’t just that it’s scary, it’s that it refuses to lie to kids. Where Disney often promises that love alone solves everything, Coraline suggests something more honest: that courage comes from facing fear, not avoiding it. Coraline doesn’t win because she’s special. She wins because she’s brave enough to see the truth. Seventeen years later, that honesty still feels radical. And that’s why Coraline isn’t just different from Disney — it’s the movie that proves kids’ stories don’t need to be safe to matter.
The temporary restraining order against Huda Mustafa remains in place as the Love Island star awaits the next hearing, Us Weekly can confirm.
A hearing was scheduled for Friday, April 3, at the Los Angeles Superior Court after Nicole Olivera, the ex of Mustafa’s boyfriend Louis Russell, filed a restraining order against the reality star last month. Neither Mustafa nor Russell, both 25, present in court, although Olivera was in attendance.
The judge ultimately pushed the hearing to Thursday, April 23, after Olivera’s attorney asked for a continuance, ruling that Olivera’s temporary restraining order be extended. (The order was set to expire on Friday.)
“Any temporary orders are to remain in full force and effect until the continued hearing date,” read the ruling, per court documents obtained by Us. “Order on Request to Continue Court Hearing is signed and filed [on] this date.”

Us previously obtained court documents filed by Olivera on March 12 seeking protection for herself and her son with Russell. Russell’s ex claimed at the time that Mustafa “was making threats” against Olivera, the exes’ son Luka-Kai, the reality star’s own daughter, Arleigh, 5 — whom she shares with ex Noah Sheline — on February 20.
According to Olivera, after experiencing “about 12 hours” of threats from Mustafa before the TV personality then “broke into” the building where Olivera’s son lives. Mustafa also allegedly harassed Olivera on social media.
Olivera claimed that Russell informed Mustafa that “her actions have called for a restraining order.”

As for her reason for pursuing a protective order, Olivera alleged in the court documents that she was “mentally and emotionally in fear for my son and my own safety.”
The same day of Olivera’s filing, a judge granted her request for a temporary restraining order against Mustafa, who was ordered to stay “at least 100 yards” away from Olivera and her son and to not contact them.
After news of the protective order made headlines, Mustafa denied the allegations via her Instagram Story.

Us also confirmed that Russell filed an emergency court order on March 18 for joint legal custody of his and Olivera’s son as well as a parenting and custody plan between the exes. In the paperwork Russell filed, he claimed that Olivera “unreasonably” halted contact between him and their son. He also accused his ex of using their son “as a bargaining chip” and threatening to move out of state. A judge ultimately denied Russell’s emergency request.

Joseph Duggar and his wife, Kendra Duggar, spoke on many calls during his stay at the Washington County Detention Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas, after his arrest on child molestation charges in March 2026.
The recorded conversations — spanning several days — give insight into how the family is navigating his arrest years after his older brother Josh Duggar was sentenced on similar charges.
Joseph, for his part, was arrested on March 18, 2026, and charged with lewd and lascivious behavior, molesting a victim under 12 and lewd and lascivious behavior conducted by a person over 18. He has pleaded not guilty.
Joseph and Kendra were also later charged with four counts each of false imprisonment and endangering the welfare of a child.

“Kendra’s arrest has nothing to do with Joseph’s — although one precipitated another,” a source with knowledge of the case told Us Weekly on March 21, 2026. “After his charge, they automatically do a home study if minors live there. They came to her house.”
Us breaks down what we’ve learned so far from Joseph and Kendra Duggar’s jail calls:
Joseph and Kendra Duggar’s 1st Call
The earliest documented call took place March 20, when Joseph Duggar placed a collect call to Kendra Duggar from the Washington County Detention Center, according to audio obtained by Entertainment Weekly. Joseph revealed he was also avoiding eating any “junk” food with the hopes of slimming down. “I’m not eating, like, hardly any of the bready stuff. I’m trying not to eat junk, mostly just eat the veggies and the protein stuff,” he told Kendra, noting that he didn’t feel “as bloated” as before.
Kendra also shared that she was “trimming up.”
“I haven’t gotten on the scale, but I feel a lot trimmer now,” she said. “I’m not bloated either. I’m gonna be ‘skinny mini. I cannot eat. Mama keeps trying to get me to eat, but unless it’s liquid, it doesn’t really go down. It’s been a battle.”

Joseph Duggar Complains About ‘Miserable’ Jail Conditions
Joseph Duggar vented to Kendra Duggar about the conditions during his recent stay.
“I felt like [the] past two nights, like not last night, but the two nights before that, there [were] people up all night, and it was really loud and stuff, but so I didn’t get good sleep,” Joseph admitted during one phone conversation, per audio obtained by Us. “So yesterday was a little bit more miserable.”
“Sometimes I can’t even hear myself think whenever they’re next door,” he added, noting that the noise was “like getting hit by a jackhammer.”

Separately, Anna Duggar, wife of Josh Duggar, emailed Joseph after his arrest to offer support, writing, “You’ve got our prayers. We love you — however we can help, please let us know.”
Anna also urged caution, advising Joseph not to discuss legal matters unless he was with an attorney — a notable piece of guidance given the family’s prior experience with Josh’s own legal issues.
Joseph was extradited from Arkansas to Florida on March 27. He was later released from the Bay County Jail in Florida on March 31 after posting bond.

Topical skincare completes the ritual. Pol uses his favorite products from Chanel’s science-backed Sublimage line — which targets cellular aging and promotes a radiant, firm, and hydrated glow — as part of his pre-red-carpet treatments, along with the brand’s Le Lift Sérum. He finishes with a spritz of Amuse Bouche from his own Beauty Sandwich skincare line to “plump everything and snatch pores.”

Camila Morrone smiling in a wedding dress in Something Very Bad Is Going to HappenImage via Netflix
When a show that’s clearly meant for a niche audience manages to enter the mainstream despite a negligible marketing push, you know it’s going to be something out of the ordinary. Viewers across the world seem to be deciding for themselves if Netflix’s new eight-part horror series is actually as good as everyone says it is. Created by Haley Z. Boston and executive-produced by the Duffer Brothers, the show has now spent a full week on the streamer’s viewership rankings. It’s competing against a Nordic noir mystery series, Jo Nesbø’s Detective Hole, and the recently released third season of XO, Kitty, the spin-off to Netflix’s popular teen romance film trilogy To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before.
The new horror series serves as a star-making vehicle for Camila Morrone, best known for Daisy Jones & the Six and the second season of The Night Manager. In the new show, she plays a young woman on the verge of marrying her supposed soulmate, played by Adam DiMarco. However, things take a turn for the worst when they arrive at the wedding venue, the groom’s sinister-looking family manor in the middle of nowhere. Boston has said in interviews that the show is an analogy for the millennial experience, particularly the commitment-phobia that people of a certain generation often go through.

Here’s Your New Horror Binge Watch
We’re talking, of course, about the evocatively-titled new series, Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen. Combining the rich atmospheric lore of The Shining with the creepy thrills of Rosemary’s Baby, the series has received positive reviews. It holds a “Certified Fresh” 88% score on the aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, where the critics’ consensus reads, “Marrying horror and atmospheric storytelling to thrilling effect, Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen ably transports newlywed jitters to the surrealist realm of binge-worthy TV.” In her review, Collider’s Jasneet Singh described it as “a visually stunning watch that effectively employs all the camera tricks at its disposal to tell a tale as old as time, one where the uncertainty around soulmates takes on a more sinister form.” According to FlixPatrol, Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen has spent over a week on Netflix’s domestic and global viewership charts, having peaked at the number one position. Stay tuned to Collider for more updates.

Margot Robbie on the red carpetDoug Peters/PA Images/INSTARimages
After landing like a hot summer storm, one of the most controversial movies of 2026 made its PVOD debut this week. The movie had a stupendous run in theaters, but it seemed to disappear from the public’s consciousness rather rapidly after generating significant buzz. The film marked a return to form for star and producer Margot Robbie, who needed the win in order to consolidate her success after Barbie. That movie, directed by Greta Gerwig, grossed $1.4 billion worldwide and was a bona fide cultural phenomenon. Robbie’s follow-up project, A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, tanked both critically and commercially in 2025. While her 2026 release wasn’t exactly a four-quadrant hit, it still did well enough to put her back on track.
The movie divided critics with its controversial interpretation of a classic text, filtering complex themes for a generation that has grown up online. It also featured Jacob Elordi, one of the stars of perhaps the defining show of the generation, HBO’s Euphoria. He’s set to return in the third season of the series this month, now as an Oscar nominee. Elordi was nominated for his performance as The Creature in Guillermo del Toro‘s critically acclaimed Frankenstein, which was released on Netflix in 2025.
Whether you’re an innie or an outie, you’ve undoubtedly enjoyed the workplace comedies of Adam Scott. Let’s all cater to this state auditor.

Margot Robbie’s New Movie Is Finding a Larger Audience at Home
The new movie starring Elordi and Robbie is Wuthering Heights, of course. Written and directed by the Oscar-winning Emerald Fennell, the movie grossed around $240 million at the worldwide box office, against a reported budget of $80 million. It now holds a 57% critics’ score on the aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, where the consensus reads, “Liberally adapting Emily Brontë’s classic story with a heavy dose of carnality and chic stylization, Emerald Fennell’s Wuthering Heights might not be the stuff of high literature, but it is a visually vibrant pleasure.” The R-rated romantic drama’s significantly higher 76% audience score sets it up for a solid run on the PVOD market. According to FlixPatrol, Wuthering Heights emerged as one of the most-watched movies on the domestic Amazon and Vudu charts immediately after its debut. Stay tuned to Collider for more updates.

Meghan Markle has responded after her former Suits love interest Patrick J. Adams spoke about her on a recent podcast.
After Adams, 44, shared that he never received any of Duchess of Sussex’s famous As Ever jam while appearing on the “Not Skinny But Not Fat,” podcast on Tuesday, March 31, Meghan responded two days later.
Posting via the comments section of the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” Instagram account, Meghan, 44, said she was rectifying Adam’s lack of jam situation immediately.
“Jams en route for you @patrickjadams & @sleepinthegardn,” Meghan wrote, tagging the actor and his wife, Troian Bellisario.
Patrick J. Adams poked fun at Suits‘ recent success on streaming by giving all the credit to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. Eagle-eyed followers noticed on Sunday, September 3, that Adams, 42, updated his Instagram bio to read, “The guy from that show you’re watching on that app because that girl married that prince.” The […]
Meghan also sent well wishes to other members of Adams’ family via the rare public comment.

“Hugs to those beautiful babies. Send my love to your mom ❤️,” Meghan added, referencing Adam and Bellisario’s three daughters, Aurora, 7, Elliot, 4, and Imogen, 2 months, as well as the actor’s mother.
During the podcast episode, Adam disclosed that he “did not get a jam” when Meghan’s brand, As Ever, was launched despite starring alongside her for years on the legal drama.
“I didn’t get anything,” he joked. “I don’t have enough followers, I don’t think.”

Podcast host Amanda Hirsch admitted that she had been one of the recipients of Meghan’s jam but explained she hadn’t tasted it yet as she’s preserving it in the box.
“You’re treating it like a champagne?” Adams asked. “It’s gonna go bad,” he added. “How long do preserves last? It’s going to go bad.”

Adams played Mike Ross in Suits from 2011 to 2018. His character struck up a romance with colleague Rachel Zane, portrayed by Meghan.
They both left Suits after the show’s seventh season and Meghan quit acting to join the British Royal Family full time. Meghan and her husband Prince Harry married in 2018 and announced they were stepping back from royal duties in January 2020. (The couple also share two children, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4.)
Meghan Markle still has nothing but love for her former Suits costars. “We are not really in touch. She leads a very different life now for obvious and important reasons,” Patrick J. Adams replied to a fan asking about his and Markle’s relationship via Reddit on Sunday, October 6. “[But] upon hearing about the [Suits […]
During Tuesday’s podcast, Adams also explained why he’s been protective over his former costar amid her romance with Harry.

“What she’s gone through is insane,” he said. Adams also referenced his Instagram bio — which reads, “The other guy from that show that you’re watching on that app because that girl married that prince.”
“I’ve got to change that,” Adams said. “It’s the sort of thing that wherever Meghan is, if she’s ever read that, she’s going, ‘Patrick, give me a break’.”
Adams added, “I got a lot of eye rolls — that was a constant with Meghan.”
Last week, I started off the Flavor Swap review series with Madison Beer and her Sweet Southern Heat BBQ Cheetos. While I was less than impressed with the results, I had high hopes for the Ruffles potato chips. Potato chips have been used as a vehicle for all sorts of eclectic flavors over the years, and Cool Ranch is one of the most popular Doritos flavors out there. Could combining the two possibly create a flavor variation that was anything but delicious? That’s what I set out to discover.
Inside The Flavor Swap Series
Frito Lay is swapping flavors from chip to chip(real mind bender). The new Flavor Swap remixes fan favorite chip flavors with the help of a few celebs.
🛒Heading to major stores that carry each brand Feb 16th for a limited-time. I’ll update as found!
The Flavor Swap is a 2026 collaboration between PepsiCo Foods and Gen-Z influencers in order to create limited-edition snack mashups. While Madison Beer put Lay’s Sweet Southern Heat BBQ seasoning on Cheetos Crunchy and iShowSpeed put Ruffles Cheddar & Sour Cream seasoning on Doritos, Dude Perfect’s made a mashup of Doritos Cool Ranch and Ruffles, putting the iconic tangy, herby seasoning of Cool Ranch Doritos on the thick, ridged texture of a Ruffles potato chip.
The chips were first released on the TikTok shop in February 2026 before hitting nationwide grocery store chains like Safeway, Walmart, and Kroger in March 2026. Eager fans have also been scoring them on Amazon, although the price is much higher than you’ll find in an average grocery store.
Dude Perfect Scores Major Points With This Mashup
Instead of breaking down the nutrition facts – they’re basically just potato chips with added seasoning, after all – let’s get straight to the review! The good news is that the Ruffles potato chip texture is spot-on. If you were the kind of kid consuming these chips at backyard barbecues and holiday parties, then you won’t be disappointed. They weren’t greasy. They weren’t flimsy. They had the same kind of structure that you would expect from a Ruffles chip, with textures and ridges that make it great for dipping. To focus on the Flavor Swap aspect of this taste test, I decided not to use any dip for these chips, but the option is there!

As for the taste itself, I would have told you that these were Sour Cream and Onion potato chips if I had been blindfolded. The Cool Ranch aspect just tastes right on a Dorito, and I’m not sure if the potato chip was the right vehicle for this flavor. I actually think Cool Ranch Cheetos would have been a better way to go, since there would have been a bit more of that classic Cheeto-powder dust (hopefully).
Madison Beer vs. Dude Perfect: Who Made The Better Chip Mashup?
In my last celebrity food taste test, I was disappointed with Madison Beer’s Sweet Heat BBQ Cheetos because I was expecting a little bit of that classic Cheetos cheese flavor with the addition of a sweet BBQ. Unfortunately, as I stated in my review, there was little to no cheese dust on these. The sweet BBQ flavor came through, but the heat did not. Overall, they were a big pass for me.
Looking at the two flavor combinations side by side, I’m going to give the win to the Cool Ranch potato chips. If you can only go to the store and grab one snack, then the potato chips will most certainly have more mass appeal while the subtle Cool Ranch tang will have everyone asking, “What flavor IS that?” People who love Cheetos and the delicious, sticky Cheetos dust will be disappointed by the lack of it and may be put off by the sweet BBQ flavor, which, to me, still reads as a little too sweet.
Who Is Dude Perfect?

The group consists of Tyler Toner, Coby & Cory Cotton, Garrett Hilbert, and Cody Jones. The five best friends were roommates at Texas A&M University.
They’re best known for “Go Big” stunts, such as trick shots, comedic sketches poking fun at gym and driving stereotypes, competitive stunts with a “Wheel Unfortunate” penalty, and hilarious attempts to break bizarre Guinness World Records.

The good news is that this isn’t the end of the taste test. Next up, we have Doritos, which are usually a crowd-pleasing favorite. I’ve yet to come across a Dorito flavor I didn’t like, so I have high hopes to try this Flavor Swap variety.
