Tennis champ Aryna Sabalenka knows a thing or two about love with boyfriend Georgios Frangulis by her side.

“His support means so much to me,” Sabalenka exclusively told Us Weekly in June 2025. “Being on the road and having him support me, to make me laugh and to be able to work out together, makes life on the road feel more like home.”

Frangulis frequently cheers on Sabalenka at many of her international tennis matches, including the US Open and Wimbledon.

“Traveling is hard on most people, athletes or not,” she added to Us. “The time changes, the changes in eating habits and lack of hydration makes feeling your best difficult. As an athlete, this is even more important as our performance needs to be at its best and we travel often.”

Sabalenka met Frangulis after she was named an ambassador for his Oakberry company.

“Oakberry is more than just an açaí brand, we are a lifestyle brand dedicated to aligning our partnerships with the interests and passions of our target consumers,” he said in a press release. “Because of this, we’re becoming more integrated with the most exciting sports and the world’s best athletes. Aryna Sabalenka is a great example of the future of tennis and we are working closely with her to create some really exciting things over the years.”

They first connected during one of their joint business meetings about the partnership.

“We signed the contract, then we got to know each other,” Sabalenka later told The Guardian in an August profile. “Somehow, we ended up being together.”

When Sabalenka was introduced to Frangulis, she was in a relationship with hockey player Konstantin Koltsov, who died in March 2024 at the age of 42.

April 2024

Sabalenka and Frangulis were first spotted together after she played in the Mutua Madrid Open. Within months, the Brazil native stepped out to watch Sabalenka play in both the Cincinnati Masters and the US Open.

July 2024

The couple made their Instagram debut when Frangulis uploaded a handful of joint pics onto his account.

Months later, in September, Frangulis captioned a kissing pic, “I’m in love with the Queen of NY,” after her US Open victory.

Sabalenka returned the favor in time for her boyfriend’s birthday.

“Happy birthday meu amor, I’m so lucky to have you by my side,” Sabalenka wrote via Instagram, sharing pics of them at her tennis matches. “Your support is priceless.”

July 2025

Ahead of Sabalenka’s US Open return, she and Frangulis jetted off to Greece for a romantic vacation.

“The sweetest summer,” she wrote via Instagram on July 19.

September 2025

Sabalenka defended her US Open women’s singles title, sealing her victory with a kiss from Frangulis.

March 2026

Sabalenka and Frangulis announced their engagement with a slew of posts via Instagram. In one carousel, photos show Frangulis down on one knee, popping the question to a clearly surprised Sabalenka.

“I can finally call him something else… FIANCÉ 💍,” she captioned the pics.

It was a long week for NBA YoungBoy and Nique after speculation surrounding a casual Instagram Story link-up shook the net. Despite it turning out to be just a teaser ahead of the rapper’s official music video for his new single, “Highly,” the timeline is still talking. Nique Addresses The Hate Comments After Viral NBA YoungBoy Link-Up

Nique took to her YouTube channel to release a video titled, “He Sent Me A Jet … The Aftermath,” where she opened up about the hate-filled DMs and negative comments she received after people assumed she was messing with NBA YoungBoy, who’s also the ex of her former friend Jania Meshell.

In the video, she starts off by saying, “All of this stuff was allegations on me, and instead of people really taking the time to let it play out, I feel like everybody just started attacking my looks. Like all of a sudden, I’m just the ugliest person in the world. I look like a man, I got a long chin, I got all these bad things about my face… I’m just the ugliest, slimiest b* in the world. Thank God I know who I am because millions of people were telling me how terrible I look.” She added, “I had all kinds of men in my DMs telling me to kill myself. I even had grandmas and fully grown men telling me how disgusting I was.”

Nique went on to encourage viewers to remain confident in themselves despite online criticism. She shared, “This is really important for you to be confident within yourself and know that you’re beautiful no matter how many people in the whole world are against you. If you know who you are and find yourself beautiful, then that’s all that matters… I feel like I’m damned if I do and damned if I don’t. Thank God I think I’m beautiful, and thank God I’m confident within myself.” She explained that the situation showed her how quickly people were ready to hate on her, noting how fast some switched up and assumed the worst without any real evidence.

Harry Styles is pulling back the curtain on the inspiration for his upcoming album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally — including two songs that appear to be about women.

“The record for me is about, how do I still have my experience while I’m playing it?” Styles, 32, told Zane Lowe on Apple Music’s The Zane Lowe Show released on Wednesday, March 4. “It was like, ‘What music do I have to make for me to be on stage feeling like I’m in the middle of the dance floor?’”

The former One Direction singer explained that although he’s no longer “in the dance floor” and has had to “separate” his life again, he loves this music and wants to “dance to it,” which marks a stark contrast from his previous albums.

Styles also broke down the story behind two of his new tracks, “Carla’s Song” and “American Girls,” revealing that one song was inspired by a woman named Carla and the other shines a light on his desire for a family.

Who Inspired Harry Styles’ Track ‘Carla’s Song’?

“Carla’s Song” is the last track on Harry Styles’ fourth studio album and, according to the singer, it is about a real person.

“Carla kind of just became, in so many ways, the most important part of the record to me. It’s a song that answered so many questions,” Styles explained. “All of that questioning of why and who do I want to be and what am I giving by doing this and making sure that I love this enough and being at a show and going, ‘Oh, this is why I do this,’ all of those things.”

Styles said the overall song is about, “having a moment of reminding you of, like, there was a time when you heard a song for the first time that made you want to, like, touch music in some way.”

He noted that the song was inspired by a woman named Carla who was part of his group of friends that he chose to go out with and experience life with over the past few years inside of staying in and isolating.

“Carla … I will include in that group of friends that if I hadn’t said ‘yes’ to this thing, I wouldn’t have met this person,” Styles said. “If I hadn’t met them, I wouldn’t have met this person. If I hadn’t met them, I wouldn’t have met these people.”

He added that his muse is a “friend of mine in this group of friends,” who, while they were waiting to go to an after party, mentioned she had “just discovered Paul Simon.”

How Did Simon and Garfunkel Influence ‘Carly’s Song’?

Harry Styles told Zane Lowe that after his friend Carla brought up Paul Simon at another friend’s house, he decided to enlighten her about the rock duo Simon & Garfunkel.

“I was kind of like, ‘Oh, you’ve never heard Simon & Garfunkel?’” Styles recalled. “I grew up listening to Simon & Garfunkel all the time. When I lived in a pub a little bit when I was younger, there was like a four CD changer that I think ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’ record was in the whole time I lived there. So I think it’s like why I like harmonies [and] listening to them so much.”

Styles then played Carla “Bridge Over Troubled Water” and said the moment was like “watching someone see or something in technicolor or discover magic.” Seeing Carla have a new listening experience reminded the singer that “by making music what you’re investing in, and it’s songs that go so beyond our lifetime.”

Styles added that it was at that moment the “pressure” was removed from him thinking that “people will be listening to this song” when he’s no longer around.

The artist noted that he and Carla then listened to “Kathy’s Song,” which he said was why he titled his track “Carla’s Song.”

“The ability to be able to add something, like, maybe someone hears a song of yours and goes, ‘This song’s going to be in my life forever.’ That is kind of it. Like, that is enough,” Styles concluded. “And I don’t ask for any more than that, really.”

Harry Styles Breaks Down ‘American Girls’ Inspiration

Harry Styles revealed to Apple Music that despite “American Girls” sounding like an upbeat song about women in the States, it’s actually “quite a long song in a lot of ways.”

“I watched my three closest friends get married,” Styles shared. “And actually, seeing them trust in something and risk something to find something truly fulfilling, in a way that isn’t as, like, shiny and on paper as exciting as, like, you know, [when I was] watching them get married, I was like, ‘I’m single, so I’m having all the fun.’”

The Grammy winner noted that the song spins that notion and reveals that the single guy — in this case Styles — isn’t really the one having all the fun.

“‘American Girls’ is actually about watching them get married and like, you know, there just is a magic when you find the right person that you want to be with,” Styles continued. “But I think watching them do that and seeing that it doesn’t come without any uncertainty, it doesn’t come without any risk.”

Harry Styles Details How ‘American Girls’ Shines a Light on His Family Goals

Harry Styles shared with Zane Lowe that the heart of track No. 2, “American Girls,” is his own journey to self-discovery and realizing what he really wants out of life.

“I think I had a real honest conversation with myself about, ‘OK, in five years, what do I want my life to look like? And then how do I make changes to aim at that?’” Styles revealed. “I don’t want to be the guy who’s on his own but was like, ‘Oh, I really did it.’ I want to be fulfilled and I want to be in great relationships with people. I want to have great friendships with people. I want a family. I want these things.”

He added, “It just allowed me to go, ‘OK, what do I have to do to create space to allow these things to happen?’ I can’t just expect them to just happen to me.”

Styles noted that finding the “right person” will hopefully mean finding someone who will “hold you accountable to the person that they know you want to be.”

He mused, “I think accepting flaws and stuff is like, yes, having understanding is wonderful, but you know that I want to be better than that. So when you challenge me on something. It’s a gift to me, actually.”

Anita Dupree‘s (Tamara Tunie) feeling off when Vernon has a big surprise for his wife. This new stronger chemo’s hitting Anita hard. Family’s worried. She tells Vernon she doesn’t know if she’ll win her battle or if she can handle this.

Beyond the Gates Spoilers Week of March 9th-13th: Leslie’s Bad Behavior Escalates and Jacob in Danger

During the week of March 9th through the 13th, Leslie’s getting closer to launching her free clinic and her bad behavior escalates. Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle) is about had it with her mom over Leslie nagging her about locking Izaiah Hawthorne (David Lami Friebe) down and getting him to move in and marry her.

Hopefully Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) can talk sense to her, but I doubt, since it’s Leslie. We’ll see how that double date goes with Kyle and Nicole, Joey and Vanessa. More action with Cotillion as the time to make Samantha’s debut comes closer. I wonder if they stick to the real world schedule which in the DMV region is a late summer kick off to the deb season. Jacob may wind up in danger trying to earn his dad Police Chief Elon Hawthorne’s (Malachi Malik) respect.

Kat’s not going to give up on her vendetta soon. I really hope she’s plotting to make a big scene at Leslie’s big philanthropic debut when she has her clinic grand opening. Anita’s side effects are much worse and everyone’s worried, Vernon most of all. No one wants her to give up. Kat’s search for housing continues unless Tomas “Tom” Navarro (Alex Alegria) changes his mind about moving in.

Vanessa keeps on trying to put some normal into Joey’s life without changing him too much but is he going to push back again? I expect Vanessa to show up with moving boxes soon because what she wants from Joey, she gets.

Randy Parker (Maurice P. Kerry) really panicking because Hayley and Lynette are messing up everything and his spidey senses are tingling because he knows Joey’s latched onto something being off. Bill keeps pressing Hayley who’s going to drag her feet on baby making promises.

Todd Tucker popped out and switched it up, unveiling a fresh vibe that has folks cuttin’ up with reactions. The reality star dropped videos on Instagram telling fans he’s no longer giving unc or grandpa energy — now he’s all about that “old YN” life.

Todd Addresses Living Arrangements & Seeks Temporary Custody Of Kids With Kandi Burruss

If you’ve been out of the loop, you’re probably wondering why fans are telling Todd he needs to move out of Kandi’s house. In February, Burruss said Todd was living “rent-free” in her guest house and not contributing to the maintenance fees or financially providing for their kids. There’s no word of whether Todd is still shacking up in Kandi’s guest home, but he did address Kandi’s claims in a court filing. According to TMZ, Todd said he stayed in Kandi’s guest space because she “unilaterally removed” him from the main house. He added that he didn’t leave voluntarily but stayed quiet to “preserve peace and stability.”

On top of spilling on his living situation, Todd also tried to get temporary primary legal and physical custody of their kids until they finalize a permanent parenting plan. Kandi initially wanted joint custody when she filed for divorce, but she later switched to sole custody after Todd tried to claim it for himself.

It’s been less than a year since the third and final season of Squid Game premiered on Netflix. When the hit series first arrived back in 2021, it was impossible to predict that it would go on to become the most-watched Netflix show of all time. Squid Game was also only planned as a one-season show, but after the viewership ratings went through the roof, Netflix had no choice but to ask creator Hwang Dong-Hyuk to continue the story. It took some time, but near the end of 2024, Squid Game returned with its second season, with the third and final season following about six months later. The show came under fire from fans, who felt the final two seasons could have easily been mashed into one, especially since it only spans one full Squid Game.

Netflix has already announced an American Squid Game remake from director David Fincher, which is reportedly set to begin shooting any day now. The series had also expanded with a new reality show, Squid Game: The Challenge. Netflix has already aired two full seasons of Squid Game: The Challenge, and the show has been renewed for a third season, which is expected sometime later this year or early next year. The streamer is far from done with its biggest property, though, as another Squid Game spin-off has been officially announced. Just yesterday, Netflix confirmed it was developing a new Squid Game reality show, titled Squid Game: The VIP Challenge, featuring celebrities from all walks of life. Season 1 will include former NBA star Tristan Thompson, Owning Manhattan’s Ryan Serhant, Spice Girls member Mel B, and more.

When Does David Fincher’s ‘Squid Game’ Come Out?

Netflix has yet to announce when David Fincher’s mysterious Squid Game project will be released. After Cate Blanchett appeared at the end of Squid Game Season 3, many fans assumed it was a connection to the show, but that has since been debunked. Once again, Disney’s loss is Daily Wire’s gain. The House of Mouse famously fired Gina Carano from The Mandalorian, and Daily Wire scooped her up for a movie project that turned into Terror on the Prairie. Now they’re giving new life to actor Jonathan Majors, who was dismissed from numerous projects in 2023, including the role of Kang the Conqueror in the MCU, after being found guilty of assault against his then-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari.

Jonathan Majors’ New Daily Wire Movie

Filming has begun in South Carolina on an unnamed action film said to be a throwback to 80s and 90s teen adventures. Reports are comparing it to Red Dawn or Toy Soldiers. Other cast members in addition to Majors have been announced, including comedian Dave Lucas, soap opera star Savannah Leigh James, and The Pendragon Cycle hero Myles Clohessy. The movie is based on a script by writer-director Kyle Rankin.

Rankin is known for Run Hide Fight, which is a movie about a group of angry high school students who hold their school hostage at gunpoint while a lone classmate risks her life to rescue as many students from them as she can. This new movie will operate on a grander scale, with a group of heroic teens defending their home from an unnamed threat. Given Run Hide Fight as a preview of Rankin’s work, this new movie sounds promising.

This is good news for Majors, who has been blacklisted from making movies after an illustrious career that included Creed III, the award-winning The Last Black Man in San Francisco, and the HBO series Lovecraft Country. After his 2023 conviction, he was sentenced to a year of probation and a domestic violence program, his participation in which earned him the Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards’ Perseverance Award for his continued efforts to “aspire to inspire.”

Hollywood tends to be unforgiving of certain transgressions, no matter what efforts are made to atone for them. It’s as if people are not allowed to have careers or success if they cross a certain line. Gina Carano was canceled for much less than Majors, by making a tweet on then-Twitter comparing cancel culture to the Holocaust. The recent release of Scream 7 is facing boycotts and negative critics’ reviews, intended to punish the production for firing franchise star Melissa Barrera for making anti-Israel social media posts. Rehabilitation is viewed skeptically by the industry, if it is acknowledged at all.

A Developing Redemption Arc

Jonathan Majors paid his debt to society. His sentence ended in 2025, and he managed to rehabilitate himself in the process. He is even currently happily married. However, the court of public opinion is still trying him so much that Ben Shapiro made a short response video critical of those complaining that Majors has been hired for a movie. The same people who are always preaching that violent criminals should be shown mercy are showing none to a man who has served his entire sentence already.

If Hollywood is going to reject talent over past transgressions, no one should be surprised when that talent goes elsewhere. These days, “elsewhere” seems to be Daily Wire as they build their library of original feature films. It’s funny how an allegedly “far right” studio is more forgiving than an entire “inclusive” industry. Jonathan Majors is the latest benefactor of Daily Wire’s willingness to let artists’ pasts stay in the past.

Harry Styles is speaking in depth about former One Direction bandmate Liam Payne’s death for the first time.

“It’s difficult to lose any friend, but it’s so difficult to lose a friend who is so like you in so many ways,” Styles, 31, told Zane Lowe in a new Apple Music interview, released on Wednesday, March 4. “It’s like, I saw someone with the kindest heart who just wanted to be great.”

He added, “It was a really important moment for me in terms of taking a look at my life and being able to say to myself, ‘OK, what do I want to do with my life? How do I want to live my life?’ And I think the greatest way you can honor your friends who pass away is by living your life to the fullest.”

Payne died in October 2024 at age 31 after falling off the third floor balcony of the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Styles admitted with “full transparency” that discussing Payne’s death is something that he struggles with.

“I think there was a period when he passed away where I really struggled with kind of, like, acknowledging how strange it is to have people kind of, like, own part of your grief in a way,” the singer explained. “I have such strong feelings around my friend passing away. Then suddenly being, you know, like, aware of there’s maybe a desire from other people [for] you to convey that in some way, or it means you’re not feeling what you’re feeling or something.”

Styles and Payne were bandmates in One Direction alongside Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik, who left the group in 2015. (The group went on an indefinite hiatus the following year.)

After Payne’s death, the four remaining band members released a joint statement mourning their friend.

“We’re completely devastated by the news of Liam’s passing. In time, and when everyone is able to, there will be more to say,” they shared in October 2024. “But for now, we will take some time to grieve and process the loss of our brother, who we loved dearly. The memories we shared with him will be treasured forever. For now, our thoughts are with his family, his friends, and the fans who loved him alongside us. We will miss him terribly. We love you Liam.”

Wednesday’s interview is the first time Styles discussed Payne’s death publicly after sharing his own tribute via Instagram.

“I am truly devastated by Liam’s passing,” Styles wrote via Instagram in October 2024 alongside a graphic with the statement. “His greatest joy was making other people happy, and it was an honor to be alongside him as he did it.”

Styles sent love to Payne’s family at the time.

“Liam lived wide open, with his heart on his sleeve, he had an energy for life that was infectious. He was warm, supportive, and incredibly loving,” he added. “The years we spent together will forever remain among the most cherished years of my life. I will miss him always, my lovely friend.”
