Alix Earle Supported By Carl’s Jr Amid Beef With Alex Cooper
Alix Earle has received some unexpected support from fast food restaurant Carl’s Jr. amid her feud with Alex Cooper.
“While there seems to be plenty of beef circulating online lately, we promise ours is the juiciest. Alix’s authentic style was the perfect fit for our campaign,” a company spokesperson told TMZ on Wednesday, April 15. “She is the best in the business at post-game recovery, so it was a natural fit.”
Carl’s Jr. has collaborated with Earle, 25, on multiple Super Bowl commercials over the past few years, including a Super Bowl LX ad promoting the “Hangover Burger” in February.
“The campaign, which was focused on giving away our Hangover Burger as the post-big game recovery cure, delivered record-breaking results,” a Carl’s Jr. rep added.
Us Weekly has reached out to the company for additional comment.
At the time of Earle’s 2025 Super Bowl commercial with Carl’s Jr., there was speculation that Cooper, 31, originally wanted the gig.
However, Barstool boss Dave Portnoy insisted that Cooper told him, “If I had a gun to my head and 10 million dollars in a bag, I would not have done that Carl’s Jr. ad.”
The drama between the two influencers intensified in recent weeks when Earle liked shady videos about Cooper. The “Call Her Daddy” host broke her silence on Monday, April 13, challenging Earle to address their feud directly.

“Just say what you gotta say about me. There’s no NDA, and no one is stopping you. Stop hiding behind other people and just say it yourself. What’s the beef?” she asked.
Cooper went on, “I’m really tired of waking up and seeing you using this fake drama to distract from other s*** going online for you. Not interested. I know what happened and so do you. So talk. Unless the fake narrative that you’re creating happens to be way more interesting than the truth. I have nothing to hide when it comes to you and me.”
“Unless you actually have something to say, I’m out. This is over. Have a good Monday, everyone,” she concluded.

Earle replied directly to Cooper’s TikTok video, writing in the comments section, “OK on it!!”
The two were originally in business together when Cooper’s Unwell Network started distributing the “Hot Mess with Alix Earle” podcast in September 2023. The relationship came to an abrupt end in February 2025 when Earle stopped making new episodes.
There have been theories about why Cooper and Earle’s business relationship soured over the past year. A source told Us on Wednesday that Unwell dropped “Hot Mess” because Cooper’s “fan base did not translate to viable listenership” and “did not have the listenership to allow the podcast to continue.”
Us reached out to Earle’s spokesperson to comment.
The drama spilled over into a war of words between Cooper and Barstool podcaster Brianna LaPaglia on Wednesday, with Cooper leaking supposed direct messages dating back two years from LaPaglia. Portnoy once again interjected, this time to defend LaPaglia.

Duggars Are Retaliating Against Caldwell Family, Friend Says
Christian influencer Amy Paul has accused the Duggars of retaliating against Kendra Duggar’s family, the Caldwells, in the wake of her husband Joseph Duggar’s child molestation arrest.
Paul made a litany of allegations against Joseph and his family via Instagram on Monday, April 13, including suggesting that the Caldwells were being forced out of their home and that Joseph was trying to turn his wife against her parents. The influencer also alleged that the Caldwells actually reported Joseph to police over child molestation allegations in March.
“I was also appalled at the lack of Christian charity that is being shown to this precious family [the Caldwells] that is in crisis,” Paul wrote. “Not only were they put in the awful situation of turning their son-in-law into the police because he wasn’t man enough to take accountability himself, but he’s also kicking them out of their house and giving them 30days to get out!”
(The Caldwells released a statement on Wednesday, April 15, saying, “Our family is both troubled and heartbroken over the alleged actions committed by our son-in-law. We are devastated for the young girl, a child who was courageous in every way to share her truth. We stand by her, both in support and prayer, and forever will.”)
Paul went on, “The power and the water was turned off with 8 other kids living in the house! While I was there DHS was called on them for abuse…wonder who called? I will tell you that not one Duggar is reaching out to the Caldwells. Not one Duggar is helping them move or asking how they can help! The Caldwells share 4grandkids with Jim Bob and Michelle. This is not the time to be throwing stones but it’s the time to rally around and support the victim and their family and Joe Duggar is 100% not the victim.”
A source close to the family refuted Paul’s framing of the situation, telling Us Weekly that the Duggars have been “very good to the Caldwells” over the years.
“[The Caldwells] lived in a Duggar home rent free for years — years more than was offered, genuinely taking advantage of their kindness,” the insider said. “After this they moved into their current home Joe and Kendra built to flip. Yet they stayed rent free for two plus years all while Joe and Kendra urged them to move out. It was after being told to move out that all this happened.”
The source acknowledged that “what Joe is accused of is horrid and should be properly adjudicated,” though it doesn’t make the Caldwells “victims.”
“[The Caldwells] drew close to the limelight, took advantage of the kindness, and got angry when pressed to do the right thing,” the insider added. “Their daughter isn’t mistreating them suddenly. She’s watched this play out for years.”
Paul insisted that her only feelings towards the Duggars following Joseph’s arrest were “disgust and disbelief.”
“Do the right thing and HELP your extended family from the abuse and trauma your son has caused. Your piddly statement wasn’t enough. Where are the actions?!” she asked. “Even if you don’t ‘like’ someone, the truth is you raised a son and he [allegedly] touched a prepubescent child and you are choosing to poison the daughter against her family.”
She suggested the Duggars should “encourage Kendra to divorce Joe, focus on her kids and give her half the money, real estate etc.”
“Don’t make her dependent on you, Jim Bob…like she’s not a grown woman,” Paul declared. “Don’t make her another Anna [who is married to Joseph’s brother Josh Duggar].”
(Joseph’s older brother Josh is currently serving a 151-month prison sentence following his December 2021 conviction for receiving and possessing child sexual abuse material. In 2015, Josh publicly apologized over separate allegations that he sexually abused five girls — some of whom were his sisters — years earlier. His wife, Anna, has seemingly stood by both Josh and her brother-in-law Joseph.)
Us Weekly has reached out to the Duggars for comment.
Joseph was arrested in March and subsequently extradited from Arkansas to Florida on charges of lewd and lascivious behavior involving molestation of a victim less than 12 years old and lewd and lascivious behavior conducted by a person 18 years or older. He stands accused of molesting a 9-year-old girl while on vacation in Panama City Beach in 2020. (Joseph has pleaded not guilty to all charges.)
Kendra and Joseph were also arrested in Arkansas and charged with endangering the welfare of a minor and false imprisonment. These criminal charges are totally separate from Joseph’s child molestation case.

On Wednesday, April 15, the Caldwell family released their first statement since Kendra and Joseph’s arrests last month.
“Our love for this child [victim] remains at the forefront of our family’s priorities and minds,” they wrote via Instagram. “We are proud of her for being strong enough to share her story while also retaining her own identity and joy.”
Earlier this month, Kendra’s family officially launched a GoFundMe campaign to help pay for their moving funds and other pressing costs. As of publication, the GoFundMe appeal has raised more than $31,000.
“My family is facing a difficult and urgent situation. We are in need to cover displacement expenses,” Duggar’s father, Paul Caldwell, wrote on the crowdfunding site. “We will not be using these funds for [our] legal expenses.”
“Thank you so much everyone,” he later updated donors. “The response has been overwhelming. We truly appreciate your generosity and prayers and thoughts.”
As for the Duggars, a spokesperson for Joseph’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle, told Us on March 30 that they were ”heartbroken” over their son’s arrest.
“Right now, they are focused on loving their family and helping Kendra and her children during this difficult time,” a family rep said. “They are praying for the victim. They ask for privacy and appreciate the kind words and prayers offered by so many.”

Street Fighter | Official Trailer 2026 Movie 1080p : Coastal House Media
Sony made a massive statement at CinemaCon 2026, unveiling brand-new posters for Spider-Man: Brand New Dayalongside fresh images from Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. And if there was any doubt, the Spider-Man universe is heading into its most emotional and intense era yet.
Brand New Day Posters Signal a Darker Spider-Man
The first wave of posters for Spider-Man: Brand New Day instantly sets the tone. One image shows Spider-Man mid-air, surrounded by masked warriors wielding swords, hinting at the presence of The Hand, a dangerous Marvel organization with deep ties to street-level crime and mysticism. That reveal alone suggests this film is leaning much darker and more grounded than previous entries.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day [credit: Sony Pictures]
Another poster zooms in tight on Spidey’s mask, with MJ reflected in his eye. It is simple, emotional, and tells you everything about this story without a single line of dialogue. Peter Parker is alone, and the people he loves no longer remember him. That emotional core is exactly what Sony and Marvel emphasized during the presentation. The film picks up after Spider-Man: No Way Home, where the world has forgotten Peter’s identity, forcing him to live completely in the shadows. Tom Holland has already called it the most emotional and grown-up Spider-Man story yet, and these posters back that up visually. There is a clear shift happening here. This is not high school Spider-Man anymore. This is isolation, identity loss, and consequences.
A More Grounded, Street-Level Threat
The inclusion of ninja-like enemies in the marketing is not random. CinemaCon footage reportedly confirmed the presence of villains like Scorpion and Tombstone, grounding the film in a more brutal, street-level conflict. That is a major tonal pivot. Instead of multiverse chaos, Brand New Day looks focused on New York crime, personal stakes, and physical danger. It feels closer to Daredevil than Doctor Strange. Visually, the posters reinforce that direction, with warm city lighting, tight framing, and grounded action pointing to a Spider-Man who is completely on his own.
Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-verse [credit: Sony Pictures]
Beyond the Spider-Verse Images Lean Into Chaos and Scale
While Brand New Day is going smaller and more personal, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse is doing the exact opposite. The newly revealed images show a massive escalation in scope, color, and intensity. One standout image features a punk-inspired Spider variant crashing through a chaotic collage of colors and textures, reinforcing the franchise’s signature experimental animation style. Another shows Miles Morales in an emotional moment with his father, grounding the story before everything explodes into multiversal chaos.
CinemaCon footage confirmed the story picks up immediately after the Across the Spider-Verse cliffhanger, with Miles trapped on Earth-42 and facing his alternate self as the Prowler. That alone raises the stakes to another level. This is no longer just about saving the multiverse. It is about Miles confronting who he could become.
The Final Chapter of Miles Morales’ Story
Sony is positioning Beyond the Spider-Verse as the conclusion to the trilogy, and everything shown so far reflects that. The visuals are bigger, the emotions are heavier, and the stakes are personal and universal at the same time. The film is expected to bring back multiple Spider-variants while resolving major arcs involving Miles, Gwen, and his family. Based on early footage, it is not holding anything back. This is the endgame.
Two Spider-Man Stories Moving in Opposite Directions
What makes this moment so interesting is how different these two projects feel. Brand New Day is grounded, emotional, and isolated, while Beyond the Spider-Verse is expansive, chaotic, and multiversal. But they share one thing. They are both about identity. Peter Parker is dealing with losing his identity, while Miles Morales is fighting to define his. CinemaCon 2026 made it clear that both stories are about to push Spider-Man further than ever before.
Release Dates
Spider-Man: Brand New Day hits theaters July 31, 2026. Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse is set for June 18, 2027.

The 15 Best Characters in ‘The Pitt,’ Ranked
Now with two seasons under its belt and a third already confirmed, The Pitt has taken the medical drama subgenre by storm. The series follows the doctors and nurses working in the Emergency Room of the fictional Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center. Unlike other medical dramas, though, the entire first season takes place over the course of one day, and each episode is one hour of a 15-hour shift.
There is a lot to love about The Pitt, from its structure, the fast-paced, and shocking storylines. The best thing about the show, though, are its characters. In particular, the main characters are all incredibly well-written, and they are very complex and nuanced. They aren’t just one-dimensional heroes or villains, but rather, they are flawed people who also do a lot of good. These are the best characters of The Pitt, ranked.
15
Perlah Alawi
Played by Amielynn Abellera
The nurses are the backbone of PTMC’s Emergency Room, and Perlah Alawi (Amielynn Abellera) is no exception to this. Perlah has been a consistent character since the very beginning of The Pitt, whether she is jumping in to gossip or exchanging a hilarious quip with Princess (Kristin Villanueva), or stepping up to help out with a patient when needed.
Perlah is a very caring and empathetic person, and she really cares about each of the patients who come into the ER. She is one of the people who takes it especially hard when frequent PTMC patient, Louie (Ernest Harden Jr.), dies about halfway through in Season 2. She also cares a lot about the people she works with, but that being said, she’s willing to push back with them when necessary.
14
Emma Nolan
Played by Laëtitia Hollard
Both seasons of The Pitt so far have taken place on a day when multiple PTMC staff members are starting their first day at the hospital. One of the best new additions to Season 2 has been Emma Nolan (Laëtitia Hollard), a recent nursing school graduate who comes to PTMC on July 4th to shadow. Despite being brand-new to the job, Emma quickly proves that she is in exactly the right place.
Emma is deeply compassionate, and her kindness and ability to connect with her patients is apparent after even just one shift. In one of the most touching scenes of Season 2, Emma and Dana (Katherine LaNasa) treat an unhoused man named John Digby (Charles Baker). After getting a bath and a haircut for the first time in a while, Digby is afraid that his family, and especially his daughter, won’t be able to recognize him anymore. Emma then steps in and asks Digby if he danced with his daughter at her wedding, and when he tells her that he did, she reassures him that his daughter will never forget that or him.
13
Joy Kwon
Played by Irene Choi
Third-year medical student Joy Kwon (Irene Choi) has also been a phenomenal new addition to Season 2 of The Pitt, so much so that we can’t help but hope to see her again next season, even as she is still doing her rotations for med school — and she currently has no interest in going into emergency medicine. Joy is a bright and ambitious med student, and even though the ER isn’t her dream place to work, she fits in very well there.
The Pitt is a heavy and often dark series that doesn’t shy away from the ugly side of healthcare, so it’s always a breath of fresh air when the series breaks up the more intense cases with brief comedic moments. Joy has been one of the funniest parts of Season 2 with her clever one-liners, like when she defends herself against Ogilvie (Lucas Iverson) when he answers a question meant for her, and when she ribs Abbot (Shawn Hatosy) about his age. Joy is also, refreshingly, not afraid to assert her boundaries. When everyone else on the day shift chooses to stay late, she goes home anyway, knowing her own limits.
12
Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi
Played by Sepideh Moafi
Season 2 of The Pitt marks Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi’s (Sepideh Moafi) first day at PTMC. She initially comes to the hospital to take over for Robby (Noah Wyle) as the head attending in the ER while he’s on sabbatical. By the end of the day, though, Al-Hashimi is of the firm belief that the ER needs two attendings, so she might just (hopefully) be back after this season. Al-Hashimi goes above and beyond, even on her first day, already trying to figure out what works and what doesn’t, so that she can improve things for doctors, nurses, and patients alike.
Season 2 of The Pitt has been jam-packed with difficult cases and surprise obstacles, but in between the more intense moments, the show has introduced important details about its new characters. Al-Hashimi is a deeply caring mother who prioritizes spending time with her son despite her demanding job, and she has had a seizure disorder since childhood. Even with everything on her plate, though, Al-Hashimi is very committed to her job, and she has already made an impact at PTMC after just one shift.
11
Dr. Jack Abbot
Played by Shawn Hatosy
The Pitt only ever takes place during the day shift, except for the few hours of overtime that the doctors inevitably end up working each season. During those moments of crossover between shifts, The Pitt has given glimpses into the night shift and the doctors who work it. One of the best parts of the night shift is Dr. Jack Abbot, who always makes the most of his limited screentime.
Abbot is a deeply caring doctor who was not afraid to break the law and lie to protect a teenage patient in Season 1, and who is immediately ready to pay out of his own pocket to help a financially-restricted patient in Season 2. Abbot takes his job very seriously, but he also knows when and how to lighten the mood, and he’s just a very refreshing and steady presence to have in the ER.
10
Dr. Heather Collins
Played by Tracy Ifeachor
Dr. Heather Collins (Tracy Ifeachor) may have only been in eleven episodes of The Pitt, but she made a lasting impact on the show and the other characters that is still apparent a season later. Collins was first introduced as a senior resident who was hiding her pregnancy. She was very good at her job, and also served as an excellent mentor to the new doctors and med students. In a devastating and important storyline, Collins suffered from a miscarriage at work. She checked herself out using the equipment at the hospital, then hid it and went back to work to finish out her shift.
Collins has been gone for over a season now, and her absence has been deeply felt. On her own, Collins was a great character who knew what she wanted and cared a lot about her patients. She was the one who thought about using a map to figure out where Minu (Arun Storrs) is from. At one point, she also called out McKay (Fiona Dourif), who was well-intentioned but ended up letting her own bias influence how she treats a patient. She also had really strong and interesting relationships with the other characters, from her friendship with Dana, to her past romance with Robby.
9
Dr. Cassie McKay
Played by Fiona Dourif
Dr. Cassie McKay was first introduced as a second-year resident who was very good at her job, and who cared a lot about listening to her patients and helping them beyond just the medical aspect. She revealed early on that she has been through a lot of difficult things in her life that made med school feel like one of the easier obstacles. She also wore an ankle monitor in Season 1 – but since shutting it down with an IO in a fantastic scene in Season 1, Episode 13, “7:00 P.M.,” it hasn’t returned to bother her in Season 2.
McKay has been an excellent mentor to Javadi (Shabana Azeez), and a caring and fiercely protective mother to her son, Harrison (Henry Samiri). McKay is also very funny, kind, and mindful of the difficulties in her patients’ lives. One of her best moments was in Season 1, when she helped an unhoused patient who had to lie about her address so that her kids could attend a good school. McKay took a huge risk in opening up to this patient about her past experience with addiction, but she still did it to make her feel more comfortable. In Season 2, McKay continues to show her compassion, particularly through her work on the street team.
8
Dana Evans
Played by Katherine LaNasa
As Robby told all the new members of the medical staff early on in The Pitt, the charge nurse, Dana Evans, is the one to listen to. She is absolutely fantastic at her job, to the point where when she had to step away for a little while later in the season after being punched by a patient (Drew Powell), everyone in the ER noticed her absence. Dana is kind and thoughtful, as well as extremely perceptive of the people around her. She is also an incredibly nuanced character, especially in Season 2, as she struggles with past trauma from being assaulted at work — and risks everything to save Emma when she goes through a similar experience.
Dana was the one who expressed concern early on that Robby was working on the anniversary of Adamson’s death for the first time in four years, and she frequently used this to understand his behavior. In Season 2, she still shows care for Robby, but she also knows when to push back against him and call him out. Dana is a sharply funny character, but she is definitely not just comic relief. Dana deals with one of the show’s scariest storylines in Season 1, and takes the lead on one of the most devastating cases in Season 2. Dana is truly the person who holds the ER together, particularly because she knows when to trust her gut over the rules and the system.
7
Dennis Whitaker
Played by Gerran Howell
Dennis Whitaker (Gerran Howell) started out at PTMC as a fourth-year med student on the day covered by Season 1. Whitaker was initially a very nervous character who made some mistakes on the job and was very overwhelmed. He took the loss of a patient very hard, and it influenced his actions in Season 1 from there on out, forcing him to jump into the job in the worst way. By Season 2, though, Whitaker is much more sure of himself, and he has become a vital part of the ER. In one of the season’s best scenes, he acts as a mentor to Ogilvie like Robby did for him, explaining why he chooses to work in the ER despite the heartbreaking losses and impossible obstacles that they have to deal with daily.
Whitaker is a deeply caring person who readily puts everyone else’s needs above his own, often to his own detriment. In Season 1, he was also the subject of The Pitt‘s best running gag, in which he constantly had to change his scrubs, because they kept getting spilled on with various fluids. Whitaker is also one half of one of The Pitt‘s very best duos, through his unexpected friendship with his now-roommate, Santos (Isa Briones).
6
Victoria Javadi
Played by Shabana Azeez
Victoria Javadi (Shabana Azeez) started out at PTMC as a med student in the first season of The Pitt, and she is now in her fourth year as of Season 2. Javadi was initially most notable for being a prodigy who has some insecurities about being much younger than her peers, as well as the daughter of two doctors who work at Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Hospital. Her mother, Dr. Shamsi (Deepti Gupta), is a legend at the hospital. Season 2 has shown that Javadi has started to find her place at PTMC outside of her parents, even as she struggles to weigh what she wants for her future against what her mom does.
Javadi is a determined character who initially felt the need to prove herself due to her age and family connections. At first, Javadi was often embarrassing in an endearing way, like when she fainted in the first hour of the shift, and when she accidentally signed up to babysit when trying to spend more time with Mateo (Jalen Thomas Brooks). By Season 2, though, Javadi is much more self-assured and comfortable in the ER, even as she has to make difficult decisions about her future in medicine.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Tour Echoes Queen’s Fears
Years after stepping back from royal duties, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are once again under scrutiny, this time over a tour that critics say echoes the very role they left behind.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex kicked off their Australia jaunt on April 14, with engagements scheduled through April 17. The trip blends philanthropic appearances with commercial ventures, but it has already sparked controversy.
One of the controversies centers on claims that the couple continues to mimic traditional royal duties despite their exit, an outcome sources say the late Queen Elizabeth II had feared.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Tour Reportedly Reflects What Queen Elizabeth II Tried to Prevent

Royal expert Rebecca English revisited the Sandringham Summit in January 2020, where the late queen made her stance clear that there would be no “half-in, half-out” arrangement for her grandson.
Although Harry ultimately chose to fully leave the institution back then, English now argues that the couple’s recent journey to the Southern Hemisphere undermines that boundary.
The royal editor pointed out that while they are no longer working royals, they continue to act as such, using the name, structure, and style resembling the institution.
English also referenced a video of Markle smiling after being introduced as “royalty” and “the Duchess of Sussex,” while appearing on a cooking show, further highlighting how the couple capitalizes on their status in ways that blur the line between public duty and private profit.
“What makes Harry and Meghan’s approach so egregious to many, however, is the way in which they have organized their trip as ‘cosplay royals,’ kicking off with a string of highly choreographed and very traditional royal tour-style public engagements,” English revealed to The Daily Mail.
Despite irritation within royal circles, English explained that King Charles III is unlikely to escalate things by stripping the couple of their titles. However, a source close to the late monarch claimed the situation reflects exactly what she had hoped to avoid.
“While I am not going to speculate on what Her Late Majesty would have thought about all this, I can tell you with utmost certainty that this is exactly what she tried to ensure wouldn’t happen,” the insider said.
Meghan Markle’s Cameo Appearance On Cooking Show Sparked Backlash

As part of one of Markle’s stops, she made a surprise appearance as a guest judge on the upcoming season of “MasterChef Australia.” She joined Poh Ling Yeow, Sofia Levin, and Jean-Christophe Novelli to mentor a group of home cooks.
However, the former actress’s presence on TV triggered a wave of criticism online. Per The Blast, many questioned her motives, pointing out what they saw as a contradiction between her frequent calls for privacy and her decision to join a high-profile reality series.
Other social media users branded the move “bizarre” and “desperate,” suggesting it was an attempt to remain in the public eye.
How Australians Reacted to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Presence

Beyond social media, The Blast reported that reactions from locals about the visit ranged from indifference to mild criticism in interviews conducted by the BBC.
One interviewee, Francesca, said she hadn’t known they were in the country and felt their royal exit had been poorly handled. Another, Deanne Cobo, remarked that she doesn’t “think about them at all.”
Another person accused the couple of self-promotion and called them his least favorite royals. He also lamented that their feud with the rest of the family has become “boring.”
Inside Meghan Markle’s Alleged Strict Rules For Harry During Tour

While reactions poured in about the couple, reports surfaced about restrictions Markle enforced on Harry for the duration of the tour.
As The Blast reported, the mom of two is said to have forbidden her husband to have unintentional contact with past female associates and exes, including Natalie Imbruglia, whom he once dated.
She also reportedly imposed a curfew on Harry over her fears that he might cause unnecessary attention after several drinks. However, he is not restricted from hanging out with friends “as long as it is limited to a civilized dinner and a glass or two of wine.”
The Sussexes’ Visit Echoed a Historic Moment with King Charles and Princess Diana

Among the notable stops on their itinerary was a visit to the Royal Children’s Hospital. The couple arrived early Tuesday morning, walking hand-in-hand through the halls as they greeted staff and young patients.
According to The Blast, that appearance carried a special significance, as Harry retraced steps once taken by his parents.
Princess Diana and now-King Charles visited the same hospital in October 1985 during their own 13-day tour, bonding with patients and leaving behind cherished memories.

There’s a reason the ‘coastal grandma‘ aesthetic keeps coming back every spring. It’s effortless, polished and, most importantly, comfortable. But recreating that breezy, Nancy Meyers–inspired wardrobe can get expensive fast, especially when linen sets and lightweight knits start creeping into triple digits.
That’s where Walmart comes in. I scrolled through pages of their spring arrivals and found a surprisingly strong lineup of pieces that channel that relaxed, seaside elegance for way less. Think flowy dresses, soft neutrals, easy layers and elevated basics you can mix and match all season long!
11 Cozy, Comfy Coastal Grandma Styles Hidden at Walmart
1. Top Pick: A lightweight linen-blend button-down is the backbone of this entire aesthetic. It’s breezy, slightly oversized and instantly makes any outfit look intentional — even if you just threw it on over shorts.
2. Runner-up: These relaxed drawstring linen pants deliver that laid-back, just-got-back-from-the-beach energy. The airy fit keeps you cool while still looking polished enough for errands or lunch.
3. Designer-Looking: This drapey midi dress in a soft neutral shade looks far more expensive than it is. It has the flowy silhouette that gives you that effortless elegance that defines the trend.
4. Everyday Essential: A pair of tailored linen-blend shorts strikes the perfect balance between casual and refined. They’re comfortable enough for all-day wear but polished enough to dress up for dinner (or boat parties).
5. Easy Layer: A lightweight open-front cardigan is the piece you’ll reach for when the AC is blasting or the sun sets. It adds softness and dimension without weighing down your outfit, and the eyelet design helps keep you cool even on the hottest summer nights.
6. Throw-On Dress: This breezy cotton midi dress is the definition of low-effort style. Just add sandals, and you’re instantly channeling that relaxed, coastal vibe.
7. Elevated Basic: A soft, neutral tank makes layering simple and allows it to work as the foundation for nearly every outfit in this lineup. We’re obsessed with the zipper detail and ribbed knit on this one!
8. Polished Denim Alternative: A long, drapey denim skirt offers a more relaxed take on your usual basic. This cotton-blend midi feels casual but still gives that put-together, understated look.
9. Vacation-Ready: A matching two-piece set in a cotton-linen blend makes getting dressed almost too easy. This one has a two-button top with cuffed sleeves and longer bermuda shorts that can be worn together for a coordinated look or broken up to pair with the rest of your coastal grandma wardrobe.
10. Finishing Touch: A woven straw tote pulls everything together with that unmistakable coastal feel. With options in beige, brown, green and navy, this one is equal parts practical and aesthetic.
11. Effortless Slip-On: No coastal grandma closet is complete without a pair of slip-on boat shoes. They’re comfortable, versatile and go with absolutely everything.

Every Iron Maiden Studio Album Released in the 80s, Ranked
Iron Maiden is one of the most important heavy metal acts to emanate from the 80s. The British group created a deeply influential catalog of melodic-based metal balanced with incredible guitar riffs, meaningful lyrics, soaring vocals and a musicality that other groups in the genre lacked. They made history with thrilling, epic and haunting songs featuring galloping rhythms, a memorable dual guitar attack, powerful lyrics and an elite rhythm section.
Iron Maiden redefined heavy metal culture with a lasting visual legacy, including their zombie mascot “Eddie,” with some of the greatest album cover art of the decade with haunting imagery that still resonates today. While the band has gone through many lineup changes, they never stopped creating music and have sold over 130 million albums to date and continue to sell out stadiums and arenas around the world. The long-running outfit will rightfully be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in November. Focusing on the 80s, here are Iron Maiden’s studio albums, ranked by musicianship, songwriting and lasting influence.

‘Iron Maiden’ (1980)
Iron Maiden’s debut album is a raw and electric guitar-driven heavy metal effort with some punk influences. Released in 1980, it features Paul Di’Anno on vocals, Dave Murray and Dennis Stratton on guitar, Steve Harris on bass and Clive Burr on drums. The album has some great moments, including Steve Harris’ iconic bass arpeggio lead “Remember Tomorrow,” the epic riff-rocker “Phantom of the Opera,” and the catchy sing-along-classic “Running Free.”
The release also spawned the group’s self-titled concert staple “Iron Maiden,” inspired by the medieval torture device, and the ripping instrumental “Transylvania,” the first of many for the group. “Prowler” makes a statement right off the bat with its wah-wah infused guitar riff. The band would go through some major changes over the next couple of albums until they settled on the lineup that would catapult Iron Maiden to international stardom. The album introduces the band’s mascot “Eddie,” who appears on every album cover the band has released.

‘Killers’ (1981)
Killers is the final Iron Maiden album with Paul Di’Anno on vocals and is also the first to feature Adrian Smith on guitar. Slightly more sophisticated than the debut in sound and scope, Killers is the first of many Iron Maiden albums produced by Martin Birch, who would go on to helm the quintet’s next eight albums. The album opens with the blazing instrumental “The Ides of March,” and features their concert staple “Wrathchild.”
The album’s title track begins with a moody Steve Harris bass line and is punctuated by stellar guitar work from both Smith and Murray. “Murders in the Rue Morgue,” was inspired by the Edgar Allan Poe poem and the energetic instrumental “Genghis Khan,” both highlight the band’s fascination with poetry and history. “Another Life” and “Drifter” still stand out in Iron Maiden’s vast catalog.
5
‘The Number of the Beast’ (1982)
The Number of the Beast marks the band’s first album with vocalist Bruce Dickinson and the last with drummer Clive Burr. It was the group’s most successful album at the time and topped the U.K. album charts and cracked the top 40 on the Billboard album chart. The lead single “Run to the Hills” was a success for the group and showcased their new vocalist. Dickenson’s voice adds a radiant musicality and depth to the band’s sound evident in “Children of the Damned,” the seven-minute fan favorite “Hallowed Be Thy Name” and “The Number of the Beast.”
The band took inspiration from film and television for lyrics and thematic elements. “Children of the Damned” was inspired by the 1964 film, the catchy track “The Prisoner” was inspired by the late 60s British TV show and “The Number of the Beast” was written after Steve Harris watched Damien: The Omen II, it features Dickinson’s legendary and haunting scream at the beginning. “22 Acacia Avenue” is a sequel to “Charlotte the Harlot,” off the band’s debut album.
4
‘Seventh Son of a Seventh Son’ (1988)
Seventh Son of a Seventh Son is the band’s best sounding album of the decade and their first effort to feature keyboards and synthesizers. It has a warmer and more robust sound than earlier EPs, thanks to the layering of guitars and keyboards, as well as producer Martin Birch’s steady hands. The band’s seventh LP is a concept album inspired by Orson Scott Card‘s novel Seventh Son, which tells the story of a seventh son of a seventh son, who is born with special powers that make him the target of a dark force.
It continues the quintet’s progressive metal trajectory with the six-minute “Infinite Dreams” and the nearly 10-minute title track, packed with musical interludes and intricate guitar harmonies. The band also gets a bit more reflective and melodic on “Can I Play With Madness,” “The Evil That Men Do” and “The Clairvoyant.” The album debuted at number one in the U.K., marking the group’s first number one in their homeland since their 1982 album The Number of The Beast.
3
‘Powerslave’ (1984)
The band’s fifth album, Powerslave, was its first with the same consecutive lineup. The album captures Iron Maiden hitting its stride with a perfect storm of head-banging riffs, evocative lyrics and more progressive and complex musicality, leading to huge success and worldwide recognition. Powerslave has an iconic cover, a futuristic nod to Ancient Egypt, musically explored on the album’s seven-plus minute title track.
“Aces High,” inspired by the Battle of Britain and “2 Minutes to Midnight,” written about the doomsday clock at the height of the Cold War, were the big singles, but the album also features the underrated instrumental “Losfer Words (Big ‘Orra),” “Flash of the Blade,” written about Bruck Dickinson’s love of fencing and the 13-minute epic “Rime of the Ancient Mariner,” inspired by the poem by Samuel Taylor Coleridge. It tells the story of a mariner who interrupts a wedding to tell a tale of a long sea voyage, during which he kills an albatross, leading to the death of his crew and his own supernatural torment. The band recorded the majority of its iconic 1985 album Live After Death on the Powerslave Tour.
2
‘Piece of Mind’ (1983)
Piece of Mind is the first album with the most potent Iron Maiden lineup. With Bruce Dickinson on vocals with Dave Murray and Adrian Smith on guitars, Steve Harris on bass and Nicko McBrain on drums, the band took a massive leap forward musically and lyrically. They drew inspiration from Greek myth, “The Flight of Icarus,” the Bible, “Revelations,” samurai legend Miyamoto Musashi, “Sun and Steel,” the 1968 Clint Eastwood and Richard Burton film Where Eagles Dare, and Frank Herbert‘s sci-fi novel Dune in the seven-minute epic “To Tame a Land.”
The 1983 album was a success, climbing as high as number three on the U.K. charts and scoring a radio hit with “The Trooper,” which helped the band’s cult following in the U.S. grow. The double guitar intro to both “Die with your Boots On” and “The Trooper” are iconic. “Where Eagles Dare” kicks off the album with McBrain’s drum fill making a statement that this album is much different from their previous three efforts. Piece of Mind is a classic Iron Maiden album that launches the band’s most successful era. The ensuing World Peace Tour was their biggest outing to date and saw them headlining arenas in the U.S.
1
‘Somewhere in Time’ (1986)
Iron Maiden began to use guitar synthesizers to push their sound forward for 1986’s Somewhere in Time. The effort also sees the band continuing with a futuristic vibe, marching towards a more progressive feel with a lot of tempo and time shifts and instrumental interludes. It’s a great sounding, well-conceived and concise album with memorable choruses, that is well-produced by Martin Birch. The Blade Runner-esque cover art on Somewhere in Time is full of Easter eggs, including the Aces High Hotel, a pyramid from the Powerslave cover, a clock that reads 11:58 (“Two Minutes to Midnight”), the Phantom Opera House, The Ancient Mariner Seafood Restaurant and a digital scroll indicating the results of a Premiere League soccer match with Steve Harris’ favorite team West Ham beating Arsenal seven to three.
“Caught Somewhere in Time” majestically kicks off the album with a synth and the iconic double guitar harmony before launching into the galloping and head-banging verse. Guitarist Adrian Smith wrote the band’s celebrated tracks “Wasted Years,” “Sea of Madness” and “Stranger in a Strange Land,” inspired by the 1959 Robert Heinlein novel. “The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner” is an epic Steve Harris-penned track based on the 1962 film and takes the listener on a melodic journey. The album also spawned “Heaven Can Wait,” “Déjà vu,” and the nearly nine-minute opus “Alexander the Great (356-323 BC),” which all have their place in Iron Maiden lore. Each track of Somewhere in Time tells a story and captures Iron Maiden at a creative sonic peak.
