Kyla Pratt, known for her role on Disney’s “The Proud Family,” recently opened up about her “unspoken bond” with Raven-Symoné. During an interview, Pratt reflected on her iconic character, Penny Proud, and recalled starring alongside Symoné and Eddie Murphy in the late-’90s film “Dr. Dolittle.” Elsewhere in the interview, Pratt also shared how proud she is of Symoné, praising the impact the now-40-year-old has had on the network.

While speaking with PEOPLE, Pratt wasted no time praising Symoné for her impact on the Disney Channel, mentioning her steady presence on the network for the last two decades.

“When I think of Disney, I think of Raven-Symoné,” Pratt said. “I was fortunate enough to be her sister in Dr. Dolittle, and, for me, Raven was the face of Disney.”

While Pratt voiced Penny Proud in “The Proud Family” and “The Proud Family Movie,” Symoné appeared in “That’s So Raven,” “The Cheetah Girls,” and the 2017 spin-off, “Raven’s Home.” In addition, Symoné appeared in several other Disney Channel series and movies, including “Hannah Montana” and “KC Undercover.”

“For me, seeing a young black woman navigate that space and become a director and producer and writer,” Pratt said. “I would say we have an unspoken bond, so whenever I see her or see her doing anything, I support it and I’m just happy that she’s living how she’s living.”

Pratt and Symoné weren’t the only young, Black actresses leading sitcoms for major networks. Keke Palmer starred in Nickelodeon’s “True Jackson, VP,” and Zendaya appeared in “Shake It Up” and “KC Undercover.”

Pratt then explained why it’s important to see women like her on the small and big screen. “I think Black representation is everything. I’m a strong advocate for mental health, and I believe once you’re able to see yourself, you’re able to feel not alone,” she said.

She continued, “And a lot of times, our stories weren’t meant to be told. Back in the day, it was like, ‘Hey, blonde hair, blue eyes, that’s what’s beautiful.’ And if that’s all you saw, of course you’re going to compare yourself to that.”

Pratt said representation in film and television is more meaningful than many people realize, especially for children growing up. “It’s enough to make you feel like, OK, I’m not alone in this world,” she said.

During a previous interview with PEOPLE, Pratt reflected on voicing Penny Proud and the Disney+ revival series, “Louder and Prouder.” She expressed her gratitude for the show’s return and reflected on what it has meant to have the beloved character in her life for the past 20 years.

“The vibe when I am stepping into the booth to be Penny Proud is always amazing. It’s complete nostalgia,” she said. “I was talking to my kids earlier this week about getting older and how you can still stay a kid inside, and I’ve had the pleasure of being able to do that.”

Pratt said that being able to still portray Penny Proud allows her to “connect” to her younger self. “So for me, every time I step into the booth it just feels amazing, and then you realize these things don’t last forever, you take it in a little bit more,” she said.

And speaking of revivals, Symoné is making a Disney comeback in 2027 when she appears alongside Adrienne Bailon in the fourth “Cheetah Girls” movie dubbed “Next Gen.”

During the Monday, July 27, episode of the hit Bravo series, Luke Brumer told Captain Sandy Yawn that he felt it was time for him to leave Akira One. Sandy commended Luke for stepping aside after his issues with Nathan Gallagher overshadowed their jobs.

Luke didn’t tell the rest of the crew that this was his final charter. Instead, he waited for the tip meeting to confirm he wasn’t going to stick around. Later that day, Luke left the boat but the deck crew had more issues as Nathan attempted to balance his job and life as a father.

Season 11, which premiered in June, featured a franchise first when Luke hooked up with Genevieve Lillie in his shared cabin with Nathan. They moved down to Nathan’s bed and Luke finished in the bosun’s sheets, which he didn’t tell Nathan. Luke also didn’t replace Nathan’s sheets and continued to let his boss sleep in a soiled bed.

“I actually get pissed off the more I think about it. It is so disrespectful,” Nathan said in a July episode about the scandal. “I’m not laughing. Do you want me to go to Captain Sandy and tell her about it?”

Nathan called Luke’s behavior “disrespectful.”

“It’s the fact that Luke hasn’t said anything about this in three days,” Nathan explained.. “He had the opportunity to tell me — and the fact that he hasn’t told me and has gone around the boat and everyone else is talking about it. That’s what’s pissing me off.”

He continued: “It’s f***ing rude because you disrespected me. Now, if you keep up with your job, it’s not gonna end, bro. If you piss me off, the slightest amount, you’ll be [heading out] with your bags packed.”

When Link and Zelda explore a cave underneath the castle, they find the mummified body of Ganondorf. Tears of the Kingdom is the perfect balance of graphics, aesthetic, and art style, creating a painterly vibe that feels like something out of Studio Ghibli. Its art direction and cel-shading also work together to create a very fantastical feeling where whimsicalness takes over, accentuating the isolated world taken over by wilderness. From the golden sunlit sky islands to the dark and eerie depths to the quaint and calming mainland, Tears of the Kingdom proves why it is one of the best Zelda games.

‘Journey’ (2012)

The player controls an anonymous and mysterious traveller in an expansive desert with only a couple of landmarks. On a pilgrimage to its central and grand mountain, the player will encounter many mysteries, wonders, and unexpected events.

Sometimes, the best art style comes through a minimalist approach, or at least that is what Journey accomplishes. The golden dunes with sand rippling like ocean tides provide a sense of serenity and eerie wonder, aiding the grand adventure and contributing to the disturbing vibe of the game. Journey has a distinct art direction and fluid animation that creates a profound and emotional feeling in the audience.

‘Alan Wake II’ (2023)

Alan Wake II is a two-headed beast that can instill a sense of dread and wonder through its dual visuals. Every single BioShock game is known for its vibe, but it all started with the ever-iconic first game. Playing as Jack, gamers find refuge in a lighthouse after their plane crashes. But when they descend into the structure, they discover a failed utopia that has been destroyed by political mayhem, spliced creatures, and rival factions. If they want to escape, fans must listen to those guiding them.

When it comes to aesthetic, no one does it better than BioShock, which is critically acclaimed for its underwater art-deco city. When the titular character and his brother, Mugman, lose a bet to the devil, they are forced to travel across the land of the Inkwell Isles and collect the soul contracts of the Devil’s runaway debtors in order to save themselves.

While its platforming is known to be some of the hardest in gaming history, Cuphead is also renowned for its magnificent hand-drawn art style. Every frame of this game was hand-drawn and inked on paper, which gave it that authentic 1930s cartoon aesthetic that is so captivating. The custom watercolor backgrounds and grainy texture also build a visual perfection that defines the game’s distinct quirkiness.

‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ (2018)

Rockstar Games is known for its ambitious and large-scale games, which usually contain incredible graphics, and Red Dead Redemption 2 proves it. Arthur Morgan is the leader of a cowboy gang, but when he learns he has tuberculosis, he sets out on one last adventure. Searching for redemption in the dying age of the Wild West, he confronts his failure and a world that doesn’t need him.

Red Dead Redemption 2 has some of the best character development in video game history, but it has also made a name for itself through its photorealistic graphics and unparalleled naturalism. The Wild West is one of the most meticulously crafted video game worlds, from the rowdy towns to dense forests with spears of light poking through to the authentic falling of snow. Everything about Red Dead Redemption 2 is absolutely gorgeous.

‘Okami’ (2006)

It may have just come up short of the number one spot, but in terms of art style and uniqueness, Okami is definitely number one. The player controls Amaterasu, the sun goddess of Japan, who takes on the form of a White Wolf. When a dark curse is launched on the land of Nippon by an ancient demon, Amaterasu must cleanse the land or risk the country falling into ruin.

Okami’s art style resembles a traditional Japanese sumi-e ink wash painting, which features thick brushstrokes and vibrant splashes of color. This painting-come-to-life is the most beautiful game out there, the closest thing a video game can come to being art. And with a sequel announced at the latest Game Awards, fans will be able to experience its visual prestige once again, which may even earn it the top spot on this list in the future.

‘Cyberpunk 2077’ (2020)

There are many visually stunning video games, so many that it was hard to pick the best, but that honor goes to Cyberpunk 2077. V is just one of many common street punks in Night City trying to make a living, but when a job goes wrong and a cyberchip containing a dangerous terrorist is implanted in their mind, V must search for a cure before they are completely taken over.

It may have had a disastrous launch, but Cyberpunk 2077 has since polished itself into the crown jewel of gaming visuals. Not only are the graphics some of the most realistic and immersive in the medium, but the striking colors of the neon cityscape create a dazzling scene. Cyberpunk 2077 may have a bleak ending, but the visuals are a perfect glamour, drowning the depressing city in fake brightness. The tightly packed design fits in with the themes of the game and anti-capitalist message, highlighting the suffocating yet captivating visuals.
