Erika Jayne and Bozoma Saint John had an icy reaction to Garcelle Beauvais‘ departure from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, sparking speculation that tension still lingers among the cast.
Appearing on Watch What Happens Live the same day Garcelle announced her exit after five seasons, Erika and Bozoma initially stayed silent when host Andy Cohen asked how they felt about the news. With exchanged glances and soft smiles, the two seemed to subtly avoid the question until Andy pressed for a response.
“I am disappointed that she is departing. I wish she would have stuck around to work out another season,” Bozoma finally offered.
Erika, however, wasn’t surprised. “I knew that Garcelle was going to quit the show,” she said, referring to Garcelle walking off during the Season 14 reunion and skipping the group photo. “That is a clear indication that she was leaving.”
Erika added that the cast had a sense of Garcelle’s decision two weeks prior, although Andy insisted he was still unsure after her dramatic exit. “She and I had a conversation here last week,” he explained.
Garcelle announced her departure via Instagram, citing a desire to spend more time with her family. But following her exit, Bravo dropped the reunion trailer—revealing a tense confrontation that may have led to her decision.
In the footage, Garcelle is seen storming off after being called “not interesting” by Erika and slammed by Dorit Kemsley over comments about her home robbery.
“I am just so f*cking sick of it,” Garcelle said at the time. “I can’t be friends with people like that. I don’t trust them. They’re all f*cking assh*les.”
