Brooks Nader Splits From Taron Egerton Amid Baywatch Filming
Brooks Nader and Taron Egerton have called it quits after being romantically linked four months ago.
“Their relationship was casual but Brooks ended things with him,” a source exclusively tells Us. “She is living her best single life right now and is embracing ‘Euro Summer’ in St. Tropez.”
The insider adds that Nader, 29, is “having a lot of fun” during her down time from filming Baywatch and juggling additional projects she currently has in the works.
“She’s very busy and is excited to be single,” the source explains.
Us had reached out to Nader and Egerton’s spokespersons for comment.
Nader and Egerton, 36, sparked romance rumors back in March after they were spotted out and about in Los Angeles multiple times. During the first occasion, the pair were seen enjoying a movie date to see Ryan Gosling’s Project Hail Mary. One day after the initial spotting, they were photographed packing on the PDA at several restaurants in and around the L.A. area.
One month later, an additional insider told Us that Nader and Egerton had “very natural” chemistry and had gone on “several dates” after meeting at a party with mutual friends.
“Brooks doesn’t want to be tied down right now but is definitely enjoying time with him and seeing where things go,” the insider told Us at the time. “He is very charming and she likes that he is a gentleman.”
Last month, Nader hinted that things between her and Egerton were not what they appeared to be.
“I’m just single, having fun,” Nader told TMZ in June. “Always.”
Nader told the outlet that “nothing” happened between her and Egerton.
“I’m just going on fun dates,” she explained. “But not with anyone right now.”
Nader shared that she was putting her focus on the new Baywatch series which is slated to premiere in January 2027. In addition to Nader, the reboot stars Stephen Amell, Shay Mitchell, Hassie Harrison, Livvy Dunne and more.
“I’m just baywatching,” she quipped. “That’s it.”
Nader previously teased to Us that working on Baywatch was a “pinch-me moment” for her.
“Every time I put it on every single day, even if it’s 4 a.m., I still well up a little, and I’m like, ‘Let’s do this!’” she exclusively told Us in April.
Nader also shared that she was entering a “new era” where her wellbeing was her top priority.
“I’m eating a lot healthier and I’m not partying as much, which, you know me, that’s pretty hard,” she added. “But I’m doing it, and I’m working out a lot and taking care of my mind, body, that whole situation. So, it’s a new era, a good one.”

Ariana Grande Files Lawsuit Against Alleged Hackers
Ariana Grande filed a lawsuit against hackers for allegedly stealing unreleased music, photographs and videos from her collaborators.
Us obtained a lawsuit filed by Grande, 33, in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday, July 27, against multiple individuals referred to as John Does in her documents. She accused them of causing “irreparable harm” by illegally accessing “various personal digital accounts” of photographers and producers who have worked closely with her over the years.
“In 2023 alone, 45 unreleased songs belonging to Ms. Grande were hacked, stolen, and leaked by Defendants,” the documents read. “Since her music debut in 2011, hundreds of similar leaks have taken place.”
In her lawsuit, Grande’s legal team described the “malicious” content breach as “unlawful and egregious theft, dissemination, and exploitation of unreleased content.”
She accused the alleged hackers of using content “not intended for public consumption” to sell “on the dark web for significant sums of money.”
Her lawyers confirmed that Grande filed the lawsuit in hopes of finally unmasking those who have profited from stealing her private data.
Grande’s representatives offered no comment when reached by Us.
The most infamous instance of Grande’s unreleased music leaking online occurred in 2021 when her track “Fantasize” mysteriously appeared on TikTok. The song was co-produced with Max Martin and Savan Kotecha and was intended for inclusion in an unreleased comedy project.

Grande hinted at taking legal action over the breach during a 2023 appearance on The Zach Sang Show while discussing her work with Martin, 55.
“Before I left for Wicked, the few studio sessions I did, which are all over TikTok, thank you so much,” she quipped. “I’ll see you in jail! Literally. … The thing is those [songs] were all written for a TV show for something that was not for me.”
Grande went on, “So ‘Fantasize’ comes out — comes out? Crazy. It was stolen. Thieves, pirates, hooks. Illegal. I’ll give you more to get it back. … That wasn’t my song. It wasn’t for me. It was a parody of a ‘90s girl group vibe. But they loved it. They loved it so much.”
“I was like, A) all of you are absolutely hypocrites, and B), that’s crazy. It’s so corny,” she teased. “It’s OK. I took the note and I kinda gave them Ariana’s version of that on the album.”
As she alluded to, Grande ultimately reworked some elements of “Fantasize” into her track “The Boy Is Mine,” from the 2024 studio album Eternal Sunshine.
Meanwhile, Grande — who recently rekindled her romance with ex-boyfriend Ricky Alvarez following her split from Wicked costar Ethan Slater — is currently in the midst of her Eternal Sunshine Tour. Grande has strongly hinted that she might not tour “again for a long, long, long, long time” once her current trek wraps up in London in September.

Demi Lovato Slams TikTok Video Claiming She’s Been Cloned
Actress and singer Demi Lovato is firing back at rumors that she has been cloned. In recent years, singers like Britney Spears, Selena Gomez, and even actors like Jim Carrey have all been subjects of conspiracy theories that they have been replaced with clones. When Lovato decided to call out one TikTok video, however, the fan seemed to double down that her comment was actually “confirmation” that her theory was true, igniting concern online.

Fans have come up with some crazy conspiracy theories about Lovato over the years, but the singer often doesn’t address them directly. However, she seemed to take issue with one video in particular, where a user named alexserves on TikTok alleged that Lovato’s weight was key to proving she was replaced by a clone, among other claims.
“girl go outside and leave my weight out of the equation,” Lovato wrote in a screenshot shared by the FauxMoi Reddit account.
The user replied: “that was just one little snippet to bring attention to the different versions of you that are out there but the fact that it’s the only thing you focused on Confirms [sic] everything else! Thank you!”
Lovato’s Sister Also Weighs In On The Controversy
Another user shared a screenshot of Lovato’s sister Dallas commenting on another video by the same user. “Cute how this creator deleted my comment.. AS I WAS SAYING, there is no mind control, body swapping, clone, Illuminati, Reptilian BULLSH-T going on,” she wrote. “This is an artist who is LOCKED IN.”
She continued, “She was giving the energy of the song and anyone that’s ever been an artist or a performer knows that. If you wanna sit in delulu land and make videos speculating and scrutinizing people for fun have at it. But don’t come for my sister.”
The user who made the video replied to the comment, writing, “Yes I deleted your comment [because] I thought you were a fan. I didn’t know you were her sister but since you’re back… I think it’s insane that you are acting like this doesn’t happen in Hollywood. This is known knowledge and for you to act like I’m the crazy one… after the E Files were released and after EVERYTHING your sister has been through is insane!!! I would be embarrassed if you were my sister. Now run along.”
However, Dallas was not going to let her get the last word. She responded: “This sounds less like a conspiracy and more like a conversation to have with a mental health professional. Wishing you the best.”
Demi Lovato Fans Come To The Singer’s Defense

Many fans were quick to defend Demi – and her weight – in the comments. “I feel bad what celebrities go through on a daily basis,” one user wrote. “Yes, they’re in the spotlight but for years the amount of people that genuinely get shocked when a celebrity gains or loses weight is ridiculous. They’re human just like anyone else.”
Another user replied, “My weight always fluctuates and it’s impossible not to [because] of health reasons. I couldn’t imagine struggling or simply f-cking existing with millions/billions of eyes on me for likely the rest of my life.”
“Or heaven forbid, a child actor dares to grow into an adult,” a third user pointed out. “It’s crazy how much people compare them at 15 to 18 to 24 and then use it as proof for surgeries or eating disorders.”
Other Celebrities Have Been Pulled Into The Clone Debate

One user asked, “When and where did this clone nonsense start and how can anyone believe it?”
A few users suggested that it likely began with a theory that Avril Lavigne was replaced with a clone following the success of her first album. “First I remember is Avril Lavigne and Dave Chappelle. It’s used to be YouTube conspiracy bs for kids but I guess they all grew up to have social media accounts now,” one user wrote.
“Worst one is for Selena Gomez. People who talk about it are just crazy,” another follower wrote, while a third fan brought in the theory that Paul McCartney was replaced with a clone at the height of The Beatles’ fame.
Although many celebrities don’t usually address the theory that they were cloned, Britney Spears’ son Jayden addressed the rumors in a video released earlier this month, claiming that people are “gullible” and the media uses that “to their advantage.”

Why Emmy Rossum’s Furious Will Not Show Graphic Abuse Scenes
Emmy Rossum and Lola Petticrew‘s new show, Furious, deals with difficult subject matter but makes an effort not to show graphic scenes of abuse.
“This is a show made mostly by women,” Rossum, 39, exclusively told Us. “You can feel that in the treatment of the women and the victims in the show.”
Rossum noted that “nothing is gratuitous” in the eight-part Hulu show.
“There are no flashbacks that are showing the violence against them,” she continued. “But we feel that in every aspect of them. We can see the specific ways that it shows up in their life.”
Rossum elaborated: “That is more meaningful to see the way that the history of that affects you now than needing to see it.”
Pulling inspiration from the 1987 film Black Widow, creator Elizabeth Meriwether explores dark themes of abuse and human trafficking in Furious through the eyes of several complex — and many times imperfect — characters.
At the center of Furious, which airs Mondays, is FBI agent Alice (Rossum) as she hunts for a mysterious and calculating female serial killer played by Petticrew, 30, who targets men that prey on girls.

“Often on television, we see women who are victims as perfect victims. They’re presented with halos. I really wanted the show to dig into what it actually feels like to be a victim of violence and how it can manifest in really strange ways,” Meriwether teased to Us. “It can end up making you make strange and tough choices.”
The crime drama, which also stars Scoot McNairy, Quincy Tyler Bernstine and Jake Lacy, relies on twists and turns that even the characters don’t see coming. Petticrew, specifically, had their work cut out for them while exploring a murderous woman seeking revenge after years of sexual abuse.
For the actor, that meant finding the balance between fact and fiction.
“You have to toe the line between doing the research that you need to do without exploiting people who’ve been through what our characters have been through,” they explained to Us. “So it was really delicate work.”
Petticrew also made an effort not to bring work home, adding, “You have to be able to go in and do your best work and you can’t do that if you let the work eat away at you. Our cast were so phenomenal and we kept each other’s spirits up. Our crew is also just absolutely phenomenal.”
Before jumping into the role, Petticrew did the necessary research.
“Liz pointed me in the direction of a lot of amazing things to read and videos to watch. You have to toe the line between doing the research that you need to do without exploiting people who’ve been through what our characters have been through,” they continued.” So it was really delicate work. But I am also lucky enough that a lot of this stuff is already there in the page because Liz Meriwether is so incredibly talented.”
Furious airs Mondays on Hulu.

‘The Chosen’ Officially Returns With Surprise Prime Video Release
Prime Video has had a huge year so far with some of the biggest new movie and TV releases, but things are only going to pick up further next month with the return of Reacher. Alan Ritchson stars in Season 5 of the hit action/conspiracy thriller show, and he’ll also reprise his role in the Neagley spin-off that will begin streaming in September. Prime Video came into 2026 firing with the second season of Fallout, which premiered at the end of 2025 but finished its run in the first month of the year. While not yet rivaling the overall subscriber numbers of Netflix, Prime Video has quietly become the second-biggest streaming service in the world, also becoming the go-to home for new movies fresh out of theaters beginning a run on VOD.
Prime Video has plenty of flagship shows that return with new seasons every year or so, but one of its biggest properties is The Chosen, the religious drama series written and directed by Dallas Jenkins. After The Chosen Season 5 aired last summer, it’s already been confirmed that Season 6 will return later this year on November 15, with an exclusive theatrical run before it begins streaming on Prime Video. However, fans don’t have to wait four months for the next official Chosen release on Prime Video. Just yesterday, the streamer officially announced the first Chosen spin-off show, The Chosen: In The Wild With Bear Grylls, the reality series that will begin streaming on August 9. The show will follow Grylls as he takes the cast of The Chosen, and even creator Dallas Jenkins, on dangerous adventures in the wilderness.
Is ‘The Chosen’ Streaming on Prime Video?
The first five seasons of The Chosen are streaming exclusively on Prime Video, which has become the primary home for the show in the last few years. While all five seasons are available to rent or purchase on other VOD platforms like Apple TV or Google, the cost of a Prime Video subscription is less than the cost of renting or purchasing one season, and it gives viewers access to all five seasons at once. The Chosen does not have an official critics rating on Rotten Tomatoes, but it’s one of the highest-rated shows of the last few years with fans, registering a near-perfect 97% on the audience-driven Popcornmeter. It’s also a personal favorite of Hollywood star Chris Pratt, who once called it “incredible pop-culture canon.”
Check out the first five seasons of The Chosen on Prime Video and stay tuned to Collider for more updates and coverage of Season 6.
