A mother in West Virginia was arrested after her 6-year-old son with autism jumped from a second-story window out of their apartment, and he later tested positive for cocaine.

Stevie Thibodeaux was arrested following the incident that took place on Monday, August 10, at the Unity Terrace Apartments in Fairmont, according to WDTV.

Thibodeaux, 30, told investigators that she was sleeping when her son jumped from the window, per the outlet. The window was reportedly missing a screen, and Thibodeaux showed officers childproof locks on the apartment’s doors that were set up to prevent the boy from leaving.

Following the fall, the boy was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital for evaluation. Child Protective Services notified police the next day to report that the child had tested positive for cocaine, according to WBOY.

Authorities then obtained a warrant to search Thibodeaux’s home. They allegedly found a white plate with a white powder substance, a food stamp card and a device to ingest drugs, according to the outlet.

Thibodeaux was not home when the search started, but arrived at the apartment while deputies were looking through the home. She was then taken into custody.

She agreed to speak with investigators, and she allegedly admitted that she ingested cocaine while inside the apartment. However, Thibodeaux also told deputies that she had left the plate with the substance away from the boy and in a closet, according to WDTV.

Thibodeaux was ultimately charged with child neglect creating risk of injury, according to WBOY. She was taken into custody at North Central Regional Jail.

It is not currently clear if Thibodeaux has entered a plea or retained legal counsel following her arrest. The City of Fairmont Police Department did not immediately respond to Us’ request for comment when asked about updates in the case.

The investigation into the case remains ongoing.

The current status of the boy’s health has not been shared by officials, while it’s also not known whose custody he’s in following his mother’s arrest.

Cocaine exposure to children causes severe health risks, including acute toxicity, brain and nervous system damage, heart failure and long-term developmental and behavioral delays, according to the National Library of Medicine.

In the state of West Virginia, those found guilty of child neglect creating risk of injury can be sentenced to serve between one to five years in prison and to pay a fine of up to $3,000.

Sharon Osbourne has cut the asking rent on the lavish Los Angeles mansion she once shared with her late husband, Ozzy Osbourne, after apparently failing to secure a buyer or tenant. The historic Hancock Park estate was initially offered for rent at $65,000 per month in June. Its monthly price has now dropped by $10,000 while the property remains simultaneously listed for sale at $17 million. The reduction comes approximately one year after the Black Sabbath frontman died at 76 and four years after the couple first attempted to sell their longtime American home.

The seven-bedroom, 11-bathroom residence was placed on the rental market for $65,000 per month on June 26. Property records compiled by Redfin show that the price dropped to $55,000 on July 31. The home remains available at that reduced rate.

Although $10,000 represents a considerable monthly cut, the estate still targets an extremely wealthy tenant. At its current price, one year of rent would total $660,000, compared to $780,000 under the original terms. The Daily Mail reports that prospective tenants are also being asked for a $195,000 security deposit. Only “pre-qualified clients” are permitted to tour the property.

The residence remains listed for sale through Carolwood Estates for $17 million, meaning Sharon appears open to either selling it outright or generating rental income while waiting for the right buyer.

Historic Hancock Park Estate Spans More Than 11,000 Square Feet

Ozzy and Sharon purchased the gated estate for $11.85 million in 2015, according to property records cited by The Wall Street Journal. Designed by architect A.K. Kellogg in 1929, the property spans approximately 11,565 square feet on more than half an acre. “Careful restorations have maintained the historical architecture, while elevating the property to a level of epic glamour with all the modern luxuries of today,” the listing states.

The chef’s kitchen connects to a family room, breakfast room, and outdoor dining area equipped with a pizza oven and barbecue. Outside, the property features landscaped gardens, a large lawn, and a swimming pool covered with hand-laid mosaic tile.

The main level includes a formal living room, dining room, grand foyer, and wood-paneled library, as well as areas that can be used for staff accommodations or home offices. A lower-level screening room includes a fireplace and bar, while the primary suite has dual bathrooms, closets, and separate dressing areas.

An elevator provides access between the different levels. A self-contained guest apartment is positioned above the garage.

The Osbournes First Tried To Sell The Home In 2022

Ozzy and Sharon initially placed the property on the market for $18 million in July 2022 as they prepared to move back to England. They later reduced the price to $17.5 million before removing the listing.

Agents told The Wall Street Journal that the couple ultimately decided against selling the house at that time. Sharon returned it to the market for $17 million in April 2026, approximately nine months after Ozzy’s death. At the current asking price, the family would receive roughly $1,470 per square foot before commissions, taxes, and other transaction costs.

The mansion reportedly carries several loans recorded against the property. However, recorded loan documents do not necessarily reveal a homeowner’s present balance, repayment status or exact monthly costs. The Daily Mail estimated that the loans originally totaled approximately $18.85 million and claimed the monthly payments could reach $82,000. Neither Sharon nor a representative has publicly confirmed those figures.

Likewise, reports that Ozzy left behind a $220 million fortune are estimates rather than a publicly established valuation of his estate.

Ozzy Osbourne Wanted To Leave Los Angeles

The Osbournes’ decision to return to the United Kingdom was partly driven by Ozzy’s health and his dissatisfaction with California’s taxes. “We are leaving LA. We are a bit sad. But the tax is getting too much,” he previously said.

The couple received approval to modify their Grade II-listed Buckinghamshire property to better accommodate Ozzy as he lived with Parkinson’s disease. Plans included a pool house, orangery, garden room, exercise studio and accommodations for a nurse. The proposed updates also incorporated discreet support rails, places to rest and non-slip surfaces.

Ozzy publicly disclosed his Parkinson’s diagnosis in 2020 but pushed back against assumptions that the condition meant his death was imminent. “I’m not dying from Parkinson’s. I’ve been working with it most of my life,” he said.

The musician died in July 2025. His death certificate listed a heart attack as the cause, with coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease with autonomic dysfunction identified as contributing factors, according to The Associated Press.

The Hancock Park mansion is not the only piece of Los Angeles real estate Sharon has attempted to offload since Ozzy’s death. She listed the couple’s one-bedroom apartment in West Hollywood’s celebrity-filled Sierra Towers building for $2.4 million in November 2025.

The 1,200-square-foot residence reportedly sold for $2.1 million in April, approximately $300,000 below its asking price. Because the Osbournes purchased it for $2.25 million in 2022, the transaction also came in below what they originally paid, before accounting for fees and improvements.

For now, the more valuable Hancock Park estate remains available both to buyers and renters.

KPop Demon Hunters star Ejae is opening up about the moment Leonardo DiCaprio left her so nervous that she missed the mark during a BAFTA performance.

The singer-songwriter says the Oscar winner’s serious expression and intense stare threw her off as she performed in front of a room packed with Hollywood’s biggest stars.

Ejae, the breakout singing voice behind the character Rumi in Netflix’s record-breaking hit KPop Demon Hunters, blamed Leonardo DiCaprio’s demeanor for the reason she was completely thrown off-key during a performance at the BAFTAs.

Speaking in a candid interview with The Times, the 34-year-old singer-songwriter confessed that her performance at the BAFTA Film Awards earlier this year still “haunts” her, pointing directly to a surprise staring contest with the Oscar winner as the culprit behind her vocal mistakes.

“The BAFTAs haunt me,” she told the news outlet. “I made mistakes. I cracked a little bit on the high notes. Leonardo DiCaprio was [in the audience] right in front of me, and he was not smiling.”

I did think it might be huge because the story was so cool, but you never know. In the past year I’ve lived five lives. It doesn’t stop. Who does this all in one year?”

She even revealed that she discovered Beyoncé and Jay-Z are big fans of hers after meeting them at the Oscars.

“I was at their afterparty, and Jay-Z came up to me and said, ‘Hi, my name’s Shawn,’” she recounted. “I was beyond starstruck. Beyoncé is my idol, and she said, ‘You have an incredible voice.’ I asked her, ‘Do you know Golden?’ She was like, ‘Yeah, my girls sing it.’”

Meanwhile, DiCaprio has previously spoken about how two actresses had a similarly strong effect on him to the one he had on Ejae when he was starting out in his career.

In a 2025 profile with TIME, he revealed that he was starstruck by actresses Meryl Streep and Diane Keaton, both of whom featured alongside him in the 1996 film Marvin’s Room.

DiCaprio told the news outlet that he was “awed by” both Streep and Keaton, but he “loved Keaton especially.”

“She had the most incredible laugh,” the actor said about his fondness for Keaton, who died from pneumonia in October 2025 at the age of 79.

“It would echo through the entire set, and she made you feel like the funniest person in the world. I mean, burst-out-loud laughing. I’ll never forget it. I kind of lived to make her laugh every day on set, because it was so infectious. She was incredible,” he added.

“She and I went paddle boarding for a very short time two days ago. We went to Babe’s in Sag Harbor to have, like, just a mommy and me brunch,” Frankel recalled. “We’re trying to steal our moments, but it hasn’t been the same.”

Frankel admitted that her daughter is “not a little kid” so what she does during her time away from school has shifted.

“We’re not like on the day, just like crabbing and going on the boat. Everybody’s been running in circles,” the Skinnygirl founder told Us. “But we have been going out to dinner more on the water.”

Frankel explained, “We’re trying to pick our spots and check all the boxes now. … We went to Sunset Beach together. I took her to Surf Lodge twice together.”

Dolly Parton has suffered another setback in her ongoing health battle, forcing the country music legend to pull out of a major appearance at her beloved Dollywood.

The 80-year-old was expected to attend the opening celebration for the theme park’s new NightFlight Expedition attraction on Friday, August 14.

Instead, Parton appeared virtually and revealed that dizziness and dehydration prompted her doctor to order her to remain in Nashville.

Parton was supposed to make the roughly three-hour trip from Nashville to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, for the Dollywood event, but her health ultimately changed those plans.

Appearing by video while wearing sparkly fairy wings, the “Jolene” singer apologized for not being there in person and acknowledged that fans already knew she had been dealing with several health problems.

“I’ve told you before, all my fans, that I have had a few little health issues,” Parton explained, according to Page Six. “And sometimes I get a little dizzy, and I get dehydrated.”

This time, the dehydration was enough for her Nashville doctor to intervene.

“My Nashville doctor clipped my wings, saying you ain’t traveling this week,” she revealed.

Parton appeared to accept the medical order with her trademark humor, telling fans that when a doctor says there will be no traveling, “you ain’t traveling.”
