Beyonce’s Dad Exits Interview After Ex Tina Knowles Comment

Published

on

Beyoncé’s father, Mathew Knowles, walked out of an interview after receiving a comment regarding ex-wife Tina Knowles’ involvement in the success of Destiny’s Child.

During an interview for local New York City news outlet PIX 11, published via its YouTube channel on January 31, anchor Kendis Gibson raised the topic of Destiny’s Child, Beyoncé’s former girl group, that Mathew, 74, managed and executive-produced across various projects.

“I said the same thing to Ms. Tina Knowles, you guys put in the work, and obviously the talent was there with your kids,” Gibson, 53, remarked, referring to Mathew and Tina’s daughters, Beyoncè, 44, and Solange Knowles, 39. (Mathew is also father to son Nixon, 16, whom he shares with ex Alexandra Wright, and daughter Koi, 15, whom he shares with TaQoya Branscomb.)

Mathew then interrupted to address the comment about Tina, 72, asking Gibson, “What work did she put in?” to which a visibly caught-off-guard Gibson responded with “the hair.”

Beyoncé’s father, Mathew Knowles, is opening up about how he and his ex-wife, Tina Knowles, have imparted their best parenting advice to their superstar daughter. “I hope we taught by example,” the 71-year-old record executive exclusively told Us Weekly on Saturday, May 20, while promoting his partnership with WealthFlix. Along […]

“OK, you’re absolutely right, in the styling, the imaging, you’re right,” Mathew acknowledged. Tina owned a beauty salon and styled Destiny’s Child members Michelle Williams, Kelly Rowland and Beyonce’s hair, in addition to former band members’, before they achieved global success.

The music executive was then pushed further by Gibson, who suggested that Tina “claimed to have preyed on the name [Destiny’s Child] and different aspects of that,” before stating that “it’s a joint effort,” to which Mathew agreed.

Matthew then abruptly asked to “stop” the interview “now,” before standing up and shaking hands with Gibson.

The sudden end to their interview led Gibson to ask Mathew, “Sorry, did I say something wrong?” to which Mathew assured him that the situation was “all good” and thanked him several times.

After the interview aired, Page Six spoke to Mathew, who said that Gibson arrived “15 minutes late” and “asked multiple questions about Tina … when the interview was supposed to be about [a] Destiny Child’s tribute concert.” (Mathew’s Destiny’s Child Tribute: Iconic Reimagined Tour 2026 journeyed the U.S. in January and February.)

Mathew, who was married to Tina from 1980 until 2011, told the outlet, “How it starts is how it ends. It started on a bad note, and obviously ended on a bad note for him. I politely ended the interview, shook his hand, and took a photograph.”

The outlet reported that despite Mathew’s claims, Gibson “arrived on time for the shoot, while the crew was there early to set up.”

Us Weekly has reached out to a representative for Gibson for comment.

The Netflix series follows a group of young people on the autism spectrum as they navigate the dating world. Abbey Romeo and David Isaacman, for one, became a success story when they were set up on a blind date in season 1 — and are still going strong.

“We have fun together and do things we both love like going to the Los Angeles Zoo and Griffith Observatory,” Romeo exclusively told Us Weekly in October 2025. “We want to take our time getting married because I don’t want to be a divorced lady like my mom.”

8 Most Rewatchable Fantasy Shows of All Time, Ranked

Published

on

Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne in Carnival Row Season 2

One of the most important jobs of any fantasy story, irrespective of medium, is to provide its audience with an escape from the real world into one of great wonders. So, it’s no surprise that we keep returning to our favorite fantasy shows time and again, finding a much-needed escape from the pains of reality in their wondrous stories. This is also why the best fantasy shows also lend themselves to repeated watching, giving viewers a familiar yet fantastical place they can return to whenever they need.

From iconic classics to more modern fare, these shows take audiences on entertaining and mindbending journeys alongside relatable characters, sometimes even delivering some much-needed lessons about the real world along the way. Now, without further ado, here’s our ranked selection of the most rewatchable fantasy shows of all time, including some of the greatest ever made.

‘Carnival Row’ (2019–2023)

Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne in Carnival Row Season 2

Image via Prime Video

A fantasy drama series set in a steampunk, Victorian-inspired world, Carnival Row was created by René Echevarria and Travis Beacham, and is based on Beacham’s unproduced film spec script, A Killing on Carnival Row. Orlando Bloom stars as Rycroft “Philo” Philostrate, a detective investigating murders connected to mythological beings who have arrived in human society as refugees, encountering his lost love, the faerie Vignette Stonemoss (Cara Delevingne), in the process. Simon McBurney, Tamzin Merchant, David Gyasi, Andrew Gower, Karla Crome, Arty Froushan, Indira Varma, Jared Harris, and more star in other significant roles.

Both seasons of Carnival Row were generally panned by reviewers, who criticized it for its overstuffed story that attempts to combine themes of class politics, sexism, elitism, race, immigration, and more. While that may have been more ambition than a show could rightly be expected to fulfill, the series is still a vibrant and beautiful watch that lends itself to rewatching, and though the critics may have hated it, audiences received it much better. Whatever flaws the series may have in its narrative are more than excused by the sheer wonder of its complexly crafted world, and it’s an enjoyable fantasy series that’s worth returning to.

Based on the 1992 film, Buffy the Vampire Slayer is a supernatural drama series that’s easily one of the most iconic fantasy shows of all time. The series stars Sarah Michelle Gellar as Buffy Summers, a young woman chosen by fate to battle the forces of darkness as the latest in a long line of Vampire Slayers, following her adventures and attempts to balance monster hunting with her normal life. The show also stars Nicholas Brendon, Alyson Hannigan, Charisma Carpenter, Anthony Stewart Head, David Boreanaz, and more in key roles.

While the show has become somewhat controversial in recent years due to accusations of workplace harassment by creator Joss Whedon, there’s no denying the fact that Buffy the Vampire Slayer is one of the greatest fantasy shows ever to hit television. Acclaimed by both critics and audiences during its original broadcast, the series is an evergreen favorite and a pop culture landmark that continues to entertain new generations of fans today. And even though some elements of the show certainly haven’t aged well, it’s still a generally fun watch every time you revisit it.

‘Supernatural’ (2005–2020)

A fantasy adventure-drama procedural, Supernatural was created by Eric Kripke and stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles as the monster-hunting Winchester brothers, Sam and Dean. The story begins when their father disappears during a hunting trip, forcing the brothers to travel the country in search of him and face off against various supernatural threats along the way. Besides Padalecki and Ackles, the series also stars Misha Collins, Mark A. Sheppard, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Alona Tal, Jim Beaver, and more in supporting roles.

With a whopping 15 seasons to its name, Supernatural is the longest-running American live-action fantasy show ever made. Of course, with so many seasons, the series has had its share of problems, but it’s an entertaining series overall that continues to enjoy the adoration of a huge global fan base. The first five seasons are decidedly the best, but every season makes for a fun rewatch, especially if you’re a fan.

Created by Jemaine Clement, What We Do in the Shadows is a horror comedy mockumentary show based on Clement and Taika Waititi’s 2014 film. The series follows four vampires who live together on Staten Island as roommates, exploring their various clashes with other supernatural beings, the unfamiliar modern world, and each other. The show stars Kayvan Novak, Matt Berry, Natasia Demetriou, Harvey Guillén, Mark Proksch, and Kristen Schaal in main roles.

What We Do in the Shadows premiered on FX in 2019 to positive reviews, earning praise for its performances, writing, and humor. And it’s only gotten better since then, delivering six successful seasons over the course of its run that are all wildly entertaining and endlessly rewatchable. It’s a hilarious series with great characters and an absurd narrative (in a good way). The show has also received several accolades, including 35 nominations for Emmy Awards, four of which are for Outstanding Comedy Series.

‘Stranger Things’ (2016–2025)

Stranger Things - season 4 cast - 2022 Image via Netflix

One of the most successful shows of recent years, Stranger Things is a genre-bending coming-of-age adventure series created by the Duffer Brothers. Set in the 1980s in the small town of Hawkins, Indiana, the show follows a group of young children who investigate strange paranormal events that are plaguing the town, eventually unearthing a connection to secret government experiments involving an alternate dimension. The series’ ensemble cast includes Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Joe Keery, and more.

Consisting of five seasons released over a nearly 10-year period, Stranger Things was extremely successful during its original run, though there were excruciating waits between seasons. Now that it’s ended, the series makes for an excellent rewatch for fans, and an uninterrupted binge for newcomers to the franchise. Almost universally acclaimed and hugely popular, the show is an entertaining, nostalgic mystery-adventure that blends fantasy, drama, sci-fi, and horror to create an immersive, enjoyable journey.

Developed by Sera Gamble and John McNamara, The Magicians is a fantasy show adapted from Lev Grossman’s titular trilogy of books, exploring the world of Brakebills University for Magical Pedagogy. Essentially a more mature Harry Potter, the series follows a graduate student who enrolls at the university and learns that his favorite childhood book series is based on real and dangerous truths. Simultaneously, his friend, who was denied entry to the school, finds her own path, creating even more danger. Jason Ralph and Stella Maeve lead the cast, which includes Olivia Taylor Dudley, Hale Appleman, Arjun Gupta, Summer Bishil, Rick Worthy, Jade Tailor, Brittany Curran, and Trevor Einhorn in key roles.

A hit Syfy fantasy show, The Magicians was widely acclaimed by critics and fans throughout its five-season run, earning praise for its maturity, weirdness, and unique approach to magic. All five seasons were nominated for Saturn Awards, and the show is widely acknowledged by fantasy fans as one of the best series ever made in the genre. It’s a visually stunning and brilliantly performed show with likable characters, mindbending adventures, and a dark sense of humor.

Written by Jack Thorne and adapted from Philip Pullman’s book series, His Dark Materials is a fantasy drama set across multiple worlds of a multiverse, linked by an invisible cosmic substance called Dust. On one of these worlds, where souls manifest outside the body as animal companions and a corrupt theocracy rules all, a young girl named Lyra (Dafne Keene) sets out to find her missing friend, uncovering a complex conspiracy involving Dust and discovering her own destiny in the process. Ruth Wilson, Jame McAcoy, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Anne-Marie Duff, Clarke Peters, James Cosmo, and more star in supporting roles.

The novels that inspired His Dark Materials are among the most thematically complex and intricately crafted fantasy series of all time, and the show masterfully adapts its source material for the screen as a gorgeous visual journey. Widely praised by critics and fans for its visual effects, music, performances, and story, the series is an immersive watch full of strange and fascinating phenomena that you could return to time and time again. It’s easily one of the best fantasy shows of the 21st century so far, and worth watching multiple times just to soak in all the details.

Dorinda Medley Breaks Silence On Carole Radziwill ‘RHONY’ Return

Carole Radziwill

Former “RHONY” star Dorinda Medley said she’s “surprised” about Carole Radziwill‘s unexpected return to the series. According to a previous report from The Blast, Radziwill, who left the series in 2018 after a tumultuous few years on the air, will rejoin the NYC ladies as an official “friend of” the group.

Dorinda Medley Sounds Off On Carole Radziwill’s Return To ‘RHONY’ After Eight Years Away

Speaking with Kate Chastain on a recent episode of her “Reality Checked” podcast, Medley said she was taken aback to learn of Radziwill’s role on the upcoming season of “RHONY.”

“I’m surprised I knew nothing about it, and we’re quite close,” she said. “So she kept it very — her cards very close to her chest.”

Radziwill will star in the series alongside many of the show’s new era women, including Jessel Taank, Sai De Silva, and Erin Lichy. Newcomers Hailey Glassman, Erika Hammond, and Daisy Toye will also join the group.

Medley Says Radziwill Could Be The ‘Bridge’ Between Old School ‘RHONY’ And The New Version

Bravo TV confirmed in early March 2026 that production on season 16 of the series would begin imminently. She also shared her thoughts on how Radziwill’s role in the upcoming season could help “bridge” the gap between old school “RHONY” and the revamped series.

“I think that Carole’s just a New York character, and she’s very close to Andy [Cohen] and she had such a great comeback on Watch What Happens Live and BravoCon, and I think the show needs a character, something to sort of unify it back to the old a little bit,” Medley said.

While excited, Medley stated that Radziwill’s position as a “friend of” the show wasn’t sufficient. “I think she should be full-time,” she said.

“But a ‘friend of,’ that’s too little. She should be … I don’t know if I could as a full-time Housewife go back and be a ‘friend of’ with these new girls,” she added.

Radziwill initially joined the series in 2012 before leaving in July 2018 after five seasons.

“After six seasons on Bravo’s RHONYC, I have decided to return to what I do best — journalism and producing,” she announced. “I am sure this does not come as a surprise to any of the viewers, all of whom have been supportive, encouraging, and kind.”

Radziwill added, “My original curiosity about reality television has waned over the years, and I am focusing on TV and writing projects that better suit my more steady temperament.”

On her podcast, Medley doubled down on being surprised by Radziwill’s return. “I didn’t see that coming because, you know, after she left, she didn’t seem to like it anymore. You know what I mean?” she told her co-hosts.

Medley hasn’t spoken with Radziwill since the news of her surprising return broke the internet. “I mean, if she wanted to tell me, she would tell me, right? … Someone else texted,” she said.

“I think it’s going to be interesting to see because the girls are a lot younger. And it’s a different world than the world she was [in]. She really kind of knew us. But I just don’t know. I don’t know the new show anymore.”

Radziwill Has Kept Herself Busy Since Leaving ‘The Real Housewives Of New York’ After Season 10

Radziwill has kept busy since she last appeared on “RHONY” in 2018. During an August 2025 “Watch What Happens Live” guest spot, the reality star and author said she’s continued writing on her Substack, often posting about “cultural observations” and sharing “unsolicited opinions.”

“It’s sort of like my life with Carole Radziwill, and a lot of unpublished work I’m gonna put up there,” she described her newsletter. “I like interacting with the fans, and the Bravo fans are so incredible, even all these years later…and so I want to give them something to read and think about.”

Netflix Makes Kevin Bacon’s 26-Year-Old Sci-Fi Monster Movie Disappear

Published

on

Alfred-Hitchcock-1

Horror and sci-fi are a match made in heaven. Any movie that seamlessly blends these two often piques audiences’ interest with an interesting story, psychological turmoil, and sometimes jump scares. The Alien franchise, The Cloverfield Paradox, Cloverfield, I am a Legend, The Thing, and more are great examples. The 2000s were the best time for the sub-genre, which gave us some notable movies that still give us chills.

Among them is Kevin Bacon’s Hollow Man. It follows a mad scientist, Sebastian Caine (Bacon), who develops an invisibility serum for the military and volunteers to be its first human test subject. Things take a turn after the trial, when his fellow scientists are unable to restore him to normal, and he increasingly becomes unstable, eventually going on a killing spree. A commercial hit, it bagged an Oscar nomination for Best Visual Effects. Along with Bacon, the cast includes Elisabeth Shue as Linda, Josh Brolin as Dr. Matt, Kim Dickens as Dr. Sarah, and Greg Grunberg as Carter.

The Paul Verhoeven-directed movie has awesome visual effects, a story based on The Invisible Man, and Bacon’s chilling performance that keeps fans on the edge of their seats. His portrayal of Sebastian’s descent into madness was praised by fans and critics alike. However, the film received mixed reactions overall, with critics giving it a 25% Rotten Tomatoes rating. Nonetheless, it proved to be a box office hit, earning $190.2 million worldwide.

Sadly, Hollow Man left Netflix at the end of February 2026. For fans who haven’t seen the feature or want to revisit, time has officially run out. While the feature has less intellectual depth, the stunning visuals make up for it, and the biggest payoff is certainly Bacon’s performance. Now, it is only available to rent or purchase online until it appears on any other streaming platform.

Where Else Can I See Kevin Bacon?

Bacon will next be seen in Family Movie, which he is co-directing with his wife, Kyra Sedgwick. Written by Dan Beers, the feature follows a filmmaking family who find themselves in a real-life horror movie when a body turns up on the set of their low-budget slasher, forcing them to cover up the murder to keep filming. He is currently seen in the rom-com The Best You Can, where he stars opposite Sedgwick.

Meanwhile, Hollow Man left Netflix at the end of February and is now available to rent or buy on VOD. Stay tuned to Collider for more such updates.

Netflix’s 3-Part Action Thriller Is a Perfect Weekend Binge That Makes ‘Reacher’ Look Soft

In Reacher, retired Military Police Officer Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson) gets sucked into a deadly conspiracy after being arrested for a murder he did not commit. In The Night Agent, a 2023 thriller series that just released its third season, the main character, FBI agent Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso), has been running from false accusations himself when he uncovers a web of lies he could’ve never predicted.

The series, which released its third season on February 19, 2026, is a must-watch for Reacher fans, not only for its similar plot, but for its heart-thumping action too. Since the Season 3 premiere, the Shawn Ryan-created series has been topping the Netflix streaming charts and is currently in the #4 position worldwide, per FlixPatrol. The series is a riveting roller-coaster ride for viewers, and its sharper Season 3 has kept the show’s magic going.

What Is ‘The Night Agent’ About?

Season 1 of The Night Agent kicked off with Peter as a naive yet dedicated FBI agent who spends most of his night shifts parsing through reports next to an emergency landline that never rings. In Episode 1, however, he gets an unexpected call from Rose (Luciane Buchanan), a tech expert whose aunt and uncle are in danger. Their call leads to Peter taking Rose under his protection, and together they trace a greater conspiracy in the White House that goes all the way up to the Vice President.

By Season 3, Peter is no longer the naive, fresh agent undergoing baptism by fire. Now an experienced Night Agent himself, he has sharpened his instincts and found an inner philosophy that is not reliant on basic survival instincts or emotions. The mission this season feels simple at first: track down FinCEN employee Jay Batra (Suraj Sharma), a man accused of murdering his boss after uncovering sensitive government intel. But when Peter locates Jay in Istanbul, it quickly becomes clear that nothing about this case is simple. What begins as a manhunt spirals into a sprawling investigation involving dark money, political influence, and paid assassins determined to eliminate anyone who gets too close.

‘The Night Agent’ Flipped the Script With Season 3

While Season 1 of The Night Agent established the series as one of the most-watched TV shows in Netflix’s history, the thriller has been reinventing itself ever since. In Season 2, The Night Agent not only gave Peter a new position, but sent him across the globe as it introduced new characters, international threats, and a more tangled political conspiracy. In Season 3, which holds the series’ best Rotten Tomatoes score to date at 85%, a new mission unlocks another cast of characters, while shining a light on some Season 1 favorites. “By tightening its storytelling, deepening its characters, and delivering deliberate, hard-hitting action sequences, The Night Agent has officially delivered its strongest season yet,” wrote Jen Vestuto in her review of Season 3 for Collider.

Among the biggest changes in Season 3, in addition to the sharper and more focused writing, is the absence of Season 1 main character Rose. Instead of tagging her along for another one of Peter’s missions, Rose remains Peter’s moral compass while giving space for the rest of the ensemble to shine. Plus, her absence makes way for another unlikely ally to Peter, relentless journalist Isabel De Leon (Genesis Rodriguez). Much like Rose’s tech expertise, Isabel’s investigative skills become a secret weapon to Peter in his mission, leading them to a conspiracy that turns out to hit much closer to home.

With that said, while Reacher is certainly one of TV’s most enticing and gripping action thrillers, The Night Agent is another unmissable show. With non-stop action, shocking revelations and the rare ability to get better season after season, the series has become an all-around home-run for Netflix, for critics reviews and streaming numbers alike.
