David Pollack Gives Tough Update About Wife’s Brain Cancer
Former ESPN analyst David Pollack asked for prayers while providing a difficult update about his wife Lindsey’s brain cancer.
“We didn’t get the best news today at a doctors visit,” David, 44, shared via X on Tuesday, September 15. “Surgery #3 coming for my Babydoll (wifey). She looked at me and said God has been building me for this, And thank goodness its on a bye week so Nicholas doesn’t have game 🙄.”
David and Lindsey share son Nicholas, 18, and daughter Leah, 16. Nicholas is a senior tight end at North Oconee High School in Bogart, Georgia, where Leah is a junior on the varsity basketball team.
“No blink! No doubt! No fear! Just Jesus!” David wrote. “Its humbling to watch. It doesn’t mean I’m not scared as hail, but man the Peace of God is incredible.”
He added about his wife, “She is weak right now, but our God isnt. If you are the praying type we will take em all.”
David revealed Lindsey’s cancer diagnosis in March 2025.
“I do not share much of my personal life on social media but today is gonna be different,” he shared via X at the time. “If you are the praying type please lift up my wife Lindsey. She has brain cancer and surgery is Wednesday at Duke.”
A year later, David announced that Lindsey was “cancer-free.”
“Some of Lindsey’s first steps after surgery last spring,” David shared alongside a video of Lindsey via Instagram in March. “We’re a year into a battle that wasn’t always pretty, and sometimes really scary. But we are thankful to be cancer-free. We are thankful for Heavenly grace.”
He added, “All glory to God for being with us every step of the way. Praising through the storm. God’s got us! Thank you to everyone who has supported us up close and from far away. It’s meant everything.”
Last month, Lindsey wrote about Nicholas starting his senior year of high school in a reflective social media post.
“SO many memories brought us to this senior season!” she wrote via Instagram on August 28. “So many great teammates, coaches, families… football has truly blessed our family more than words can explain! It has been such a fun ride! Faith will always be our #1. Family (and friends) will always be #2. But football (and girl’s basketball😉) will always be a part of our family’s story! ❤️🏈 There’s just nothing like it! GRATEFUL!!!! 🥹.”
David, who played linebacker at the University of Georgia, worked as a college football analyst at ESPN from 2009 to 2023, when he was laid off by the network due to budget cuts.

Details Emerge About the Death of Kayla Saager-Beckley
Details have emerged about the death of former Binghamton University soccer star Kayla Saager-Beckley, who was pregnant with her first child when she died at age 30 last week.
“She was working out, 10 minutes later she was found unresponsive,” Tulsa University head football coach Tre Lamb said in a press conference on Monday, September 14. (Kayla’s husband, John Beckley, is the team’s outside linebackers coach.)
Lamb, 36, continued, “It’s just been a really hard week for him, for us as a staff, our coach’s wives. She was 30 years old. She was pregnant with their daughter, Sawyer. It’s been tough on our staff. We had a memorial for her last night. We just ask that you please pray for the Saager family, the Beckley family. We’re going to honor her with a helmet sticker this week at our game, and she’s definitely in our thoughts and prayers.”
Binghamton announced Kayla’s death with a news release on Thursday, September 10, saying she passed away the day before. No cause of death has been released.
“Binghamton women’s soccer is profoundly saddened by the passing of Kayla Saager-Beckley,” head coach Neel Bhattacharjee said in a statement. “Kayla was a dangerous and dynamic forward with a true gift for finding the back of the net, and her contributions helped elevate the competitiveness and stature of our program. To this day we stand on her shoulders.”
Kayla played two seasons for the Bearcats, scoring 22 total goals and earning America East Striker of the Year honors in her first year. She also led Binghamton to a conference championship in 2017, one year after the team finished in last place.
After college, Kayla continued her playing career in the Czech Republic, before returning stateside to pursue a career in coaching. She was most recently an assistant coach at Troy University in Alabama.
Kayla was living in Tulsa with her husband and working in college soccer scouting and recruiting at the time of her death.
“Beyond the field, she was known for her big heart and her deep love of family,” Bhattacharjee continued. “We are devastated by this loss and send our heartfelt sympathy and support to her parents Ron and Noranne and her husband John. Kayla, you are forever and always a Bearcat. May you rest in peace.”
In addition to her husband and parents, Kayla is also survived by sisters, Rachel and Veronica.
Binghamton women’s soccer’s most recent game came on Sunday, September 13, when the Bearcats fell, 1-0, to Cornell University at home. After the game, Bhattacharjee said it had “been a heavy week for all of us,” due to Kayla’s death, and again extended his condolences to her family.

Paramount Reportedly Misses Exit Announcement
Safe to say that the LA Mayoral offices can catch their breath after Paramount skipped its announcement window.
Maybe not for long, as the entertainment company has not voiced any change in its decision. On the bright side, missing its exit announcement may mean second thoughts about leaving the city.
Paramount moved to acquire Warner Bros. in February 2026; however, before the deal officially closed, many challenged it legally, arguing it would create a monopoly that would raise prices and reduce jobs in Hollywood.

Insiders revealed that discussions within the Los Angeles Mayor’s Office and the California Attorney General’s Office suggested Paramount would announce it was leaving California to pitch its tent in another state and escape the drama.
According to sources who spoke to TMZ, this announcement was scheduled to make waves yesterday, but it did not. Now, it is unclear whether plans changed unexpectedly, circumstances shifted, or the company is simply holding off on the announcement for now.
David Ellison, Paramount CEO, previously threatened to move the studio to Tennessee, Georgia, or Texas by October 1 if the legal drama over the merger did not end in a reasonable settlement.
Inside The Entertainment Companies Merger Legal Drama

Paramount Skydance agreed to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery for about $111 billion ($31 per share in cash). Warner Bros. Discovery shareholders overwhelmingly voted to approve the acquisition in April 2026, and federal and international authorities have cleared the transaction.
However, the California Attorney General, along with 11 other state attorneys general, filed an antitrust lawsuit against Paramount to block the merger. Ellison has been vocal about his stance, asking California AG Rob Bonta to back off and settle.
Over the last few months, there have been several settlement sit-downs and negotiations; however, both parties have failed to come to a good conclusion.
Bonta said Paramount was being unreasonable and, as it stands, no settlement is in sight, so the entertainment conglomerate may push through with its plans to leave Hollywood.
This would not be the first entertainment body to leave the city, as Many other productions have also left Hollywood over the last few years. “American Idol” is also leaving Hollywood for Atlanta.
Paramount Wants The Suing States To Shoulder The Losses

The US Department of Justice has cleared the merger, but since Bonta’s lawsuit is halting things, Paramount has pressed for a $1.88 billion bond to cover losses if it wins the cases over the halted deal.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Justice Department argues in a statement of interest filed on Tuesday, September 15, that the states must post a “proper bond” that accounts for potential damages. The motion also stated that “The bond requirement forces parties to have skin in the game.”
Paramount has highlighted the hefty losses associated with the court’s holding up of the Warner Bros. merger, stressing missed opportunities to increase investment in production and the associated financing costs.
To that effect, the DOJ states that, unlike the government, state and private parties challenging a merger must post a bond if an injunction is issued.
The Dozen States Are Not The Only Ones Against The Merger

Entertainers have also raised eyebrows at the Paramount-Warner Bros. merger. Jane Fonda expressed her thoughts earlier this year, saying that she viewed the deal as an alarming consolidation of power in the entertainment industry.
As shared by The Blast, the “Monsters-in-law” star shared her views at the Vanity Fair Oscar after-party in March. She wore a “Block the Merger” pin on her dazzling black dress and spoke to reporters about the matter.
“The mergers are going to be bad for workers; a lot of people are going to lose their jobs,” she said before explaining further, “We’re going to have higher prices. We’re going to have political control over what we do.” Fonda also pointed out that President Donald Trump would put political pressure on her, which did not sit right with her.
Inside Paramount’s ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ Copyright Legal Battle

In 2022, after “Top Gun: Maverick” successfully made its way to screens, Paramount Pictures was sued by the family of the late Ehud Yonay for copyright infringement. They claimed that the Israeli author wrote the original story that inspired the film and obtained the story’s copyright in 2020.
Ehud’s widow and son, Shosh Yonay and Yuval Yonay, filed a lawsuit in a California federal court, alleging that the 2022 blockbuster infringed on their copyright. They requested an injunction to stop screening and distributing the movie’s second sequel.
Notably, Ehud was credited in the original movie, according to The Blast. While Paramount Pictures held the rights to the movie until 2018, those rights were terminated in January 2020 when the Yonay family filed to recover the rights to the story.
Paramount argued that production wrapped up in 2019; hence, they were not guilty of breaking the statute, while the Yonays disagreed, saying filming ended in 2021. Ultimately, the media company won.

Halle Berry Reacts To Zendaya’s Honor At 2026 Emmy Awards
Academy Award-winning actress Halle Berry is well known as the first Black actress to win “Best Actress” at the Oscars. Berry won the statue at the 74th Academy Awards for her role in the 2001 film ‘Monster’s Ball.’ However, the star is just as well-known for her signature pixie cut, and Zendaya nailed Berry’s cut at the 2026 Emmy Awards.
In 2002, Berry rocked her pixie cut in a Collette Dinnigan sequined dress at the ‘Die Another Day’ premiere. Per PEOPLE, Zendaya copied her look at the recent Emmys.
Zendaya was dressed by longtime stylist Law Roach, who put the actress in a sequined Prada gown. Roach also told PEOPLE that Zendaya’s hair was inspired by Berry’s signature pixie.
Berry reacted on X with the caption:
“murdered the night 👏🏽👏🏽.”

Stephen Amell Slams Heated Rivalry’s Emmy Exclusion
Stephen Amell did not hold back when discussing “Heated Rivalry’s” absence from the Emmy nominations.
The actor, who doesn’t star in the show, explained why he believes the Canadian sports romance series deserved a nomination during a red carpet conversation with Etalk.
His comments have since stirred debate online over whether the series deserved recognition at the awards show.
Despite attracting significant viewership after its HBO Max debut, “Heated Rivalry” was absent from this year’s Emmy nominations because it was ineligible.
When asked about its exclusion during a red carpet interview, Amell argued it shouldn’t have happened. He added that he would be willing to sign a petition mentioned during the conversation to help prevent it from happening again.
“The Emmy should be a snapshot of what was relevant in television, and there was nothing more relevant in television this year than Heated Rivalry,” the actor told his interviewer.
It remains unclear whether an official petition currently exists or whether Amell has signed one.
Stephen Amell’s Heated Rivalry Defense Draws Pushback

Several online users disagreed with Amell’s comments about “Heated Rivalry’s” relevance on television.
“Its relevance was literally cause it had hot sports guys making out,” one user said, referencing lead characters Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov. “The stars have been outrageously overhyped & over rewarded.”
“That show was smut, basically soft porn, so it should be awarded at the Grabby’s, not at the Emmys,” another user argued.
“It was relevant. But it wasn’t good. Abysmal writing,” another commenter wrote.
Why Heated Rivalry Was Ineligible For The Emmys
“Heated Rivalry’s” absence from the Emmy nominations comes down to its production arrangements, not its content.
Adapted from a novel by Rachel Reid, the series was fully funded and produced by Canadian companies.
As a result, it does not meet the Primetime Emmys’ eligibility criteria for foreign productions. HBO Max acquired the series for distribution rather than joining as a production partner.
For the series to have been eligible, U.S. and foreign partners would have needed to collaborate financially and creatively before production began, with the intention of airing it on U.S. television.
Heated Rivalry Team Asks Fans To Give Season 2 Cast Space

Production on season two of the series is underway, but the team has a request for fans.
In a social media post, the show’s team asked fans to give the cast and crew space if they happen to come across a filming location.
“To our incredible fans and everyone who’s been sharing in the excitement for the show: Your support, enthusiasm, and kindness have meant the world to us,” the post began. “As we gear up for more Heated Rivalry, please help us in making it the best it can be.”
“If you happen to come across one of our filming locations, please give our cast and crew the space they need to do what they do best,” it continued.
Jacob Tierney Says Romance Is At Heated Rivalry’s Heart
The next installment of the series is expected to debut in April 2027, although full storyline details remain under wraps.
Fans are already eager for its return. Showrunner Jacob Tierney previously suggested that the series’ exploration of romance helps explain its appeal.
“It’s very romantic, I think that’s what it is. It has the hallmarks and trappings of a real classic romance,” he said during an interview with “CBS Mornings” in February.
“Years of yearning and longing; trying to get together and do the right thing for each other and not being able to,” he added about the lead characters.

The Skincare Brand Battle Getting Ugly Online
Skincare entrepreneur Jon Richardson is accusing California brand Güd Life Co. of copying his Güde Life skincare company’s name, packaging, and slogans. Richardson, who is known as “The Skincare Bro,” reportedly built his business to a $1 million profit.
Richardson reportedly spoke out about the brand similarities. And now, Güd Life Co. is reportedly attempting to trademark itself.
Now, The Shade Room’s Justin Carter is delving into what’s going down on ‘TSR Investigates.’
More On The Skincare Brand Battle
According to Carter, Richardson founded the Güde Life skincare company two years before Güd Life Co. Once the follow-up brand was on the market, Richardson noted similarities between the two. Upon reaching out to the brand to inquire about their inspiration, Richardson allegedly received no response. From there, he went public, sharing similar marketing materials and promotions between the brands.
Furthermore, Richardson’s business name, slogans, and logos were not copyrighted or trademarked. Instead, Richardson’s material is reportedly under a “common law trademark.” Per Google Search, this is an “unregistered brand name, logo, or slogan that receives automatic legal protection through actual use in commerce.”
“Common law means that we haven’t filed or have necessarily filed or have federal trademark rights nationally, but based on use of a brand name, you may… be able to have some limited trademark rights based on your use. That use is not nationwide. That use is limited to the geographic area where you have penetrated the market,” Dayna Thomas, common law attorney of Dayna Thomas Law, explained to Carter.

Scroll above to watch as Dayna Thomas breaks down common law trademarks. Additionally, she explains why she wouldn’t rely on common-law trademarks to assist in legal battles. Furthermore, Thomas explains why she doesn’t believe Jon Richardson’s case will be easily settled.
Lastly, Carter shares that Jon Richardson has launched a GoFundMe to help battle his case. Additionally, shares a statement from Güd Life Co. regarding the speculated infringement.

Grey’s Anatomy Showrunner Teases Changes After Cast Exits
Grey’s Anatomy is feeling the loss of several cast members — which will lead to some onscreen changes in season 23.
“Grey Sloan is now down two exceptional attending surgeons, one of whom was the Chief of Surgery, so we’re going to see how the hospital rebounds from that loss,” showrunner Meg Marinis told TV Insider on Tuesday, September 15. “It will not be an easy adjustment.”
Marinis was specifically referring to Kevin McKidd and Kim Raver departing the series at the end of season 22. The decision came as a shock to viewers who grew attached to Teddy (Raver) and Owen’s (McKidd) individual arcs.
“Grey’s Anatomy has been a huge chapter of my life, creatively and personally, and I’m deeply grateful for everything the show has given me over the years,” McKidd, 53, said in a March statement. “Playing Dr. Owen Hunt and directing on the show have both shaped me enormously, and I’ve had the privilege of working with an extraordinary group of people throughout that time. I’m particularly thankful to Shonda Rhimes for creating Owen, and for the encouragement she gave me as I stepped into directing.”
He continued: “As that chapter comes to a close, I’m looking forward to what’s ahead — building new work, telling new stories and taking everything I’ve learned into the next phase of my career.”
Raver, 57, also broke her silence on the news at the time.
“Playing Dr. Teddy Altman will always hold a dear and special place in my heart. Sixteen years ago, I had the incredible privilege of stepping into this role thanks to the vision of Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers,” she wrote in her own statement. “Since that day, it has been a true gift to bring the iconic words of Shonda and our brilliant team of writers to life. … To the fans — your unwavering devotion and support are the reason this show remains such a force. Thank you for making this set my place of magic and my home.”
Season 22 of Grey’s Anatomy previously weathered plenty of cast shakeups as the show reduced the minimum guarantees for its veteran cast members to 14 out of its 18 episodes per season.
Marinis, meanwhile, hinted that not every character would be safe as the story continued.
“But even in the last two seasons with what you saw this year, we had to reduce the cast a little bit [because of industry-wide budget cuts], and everybody has very passionate feelings about their favorite characters,” Marinis told The Hollywood Reporter in May 2025. “But if we can get the writers upset then we know we’re doing it right. It’s not as satisfying a story if people aren’t upset when someone leaves. It’s supposed to make people upset and sad, so I’m sure there’ll be some arguments. But I’ve been persuaded before to change my mind on things.”
In her most recent interview, Marinis was asked whether any former cast members might find a way to return this season.
“I hope so! We love bringing former cast back when they’re available and it makes sense story wise,” she continued. “We have some ideas percolating, so I’m hopeful we’ll have some fun nostalgic surprises for fans this season.”
Grey’s Anatomy returns to ABC Thursday, October 15, at 10 p.m. ET before streaming the next day on Hulu.

Chase Hudson Wants to Be on DWTS After Nation’s Dumbest
After making it to the finale of Nation’s Dumbest, Chase “Huddy” Hudson isn’t in a rush to do more reality TV — yet.
“I think I’ll take a beat until I sign on to the next one,” Hudson, 24, exclusively told Us ahead of the Fox show’s conclusion on Wednesday, September 16. “It doesn’t make me want to jump on doing more reality shows anytime soon.”
Hudson pointed out that he is also booked and busy in other avenues, adding, “With everything — with music, acting and with reality TV — you gotta make them miss you before they can have the chance of having you back.”
Hudson noted there were some offers he wouldn’t be able to say no to — but others would be easier to turn down.
“If I could join a [reality] TV show, I’d probably just do The Traitors. I think it is so cool. You sold me at the castle. That’s it. I don’t care about the rest,” he quipped. “No Special Forces for me. I don’t want to get these shoes dirty. They are brand new.”
The musician continued: “Dancing With the Stars would be cool. They told me that Fox loves me [after my time on Nation’s Dumbest], and I’m like, ‘You know what, humor me. I’d love to hear about Dancing With the Stars.’ I think it’d be cool.”
Nation’s Dumbest, which premiered in July, shows 12 celebrities competing against each other in classroom challenges to prove they are not the “nation’s dumbest” and “graduate” as early as possible. Hudson and Hilaria Baldwin made it to the finale after Anthony Michael Hall was eliminated in the semifinals.

The Fox game show marked a departure for Hudson, whose previous acting credits include the rom-com How to Lose a Popularity Contest.
“I like game shows. I actually think that that was fun, but I think that the stakes of the show were really gnarly,” he told Us. “Certain things — like balloons popping over my head — [were] not fun for me. I f***ing felt like I was having a heart attack. But it makes me want to do something like Family Feud.”
Hudson tried to make the most of his time on the show before the finale.
“I knew — until [people like Andrew Yang and Dr. Drew] were gone — that it wasn’t going to be easy to get off the show because you have people that are really smart and have been to college for eight-plus years and I never even had the chance to go to college,” he said. “That’s unfair in a lot of ways. … So I was like, ‘Damn, OK.’ I didn’t really know where I’d land, but I thought that I was going to get off somewhere midway through, and then after the halfway point, I tried really hard to get off, but that just wasn’t in the cards for me.”
Hudson pointed out that he struggled with the same issues on Nation’s Dumbest as he did in school, adding, “When I was a student, I was definitely, like, all over the place. I’m super ADHD, and I think that that plays a role in all of this as well. One of the things my mom pointed out — because she’s also ADHD — is it’s a lot easier for someone with ADHD to understand what the question is if it’s written out in front of them and they can read it. That’s something that we didn’t have on the TV show.”
The actor recalled feeling “underestimated” because of his book smarts as opposed to his real-world intelligence.
“I could have studied a lot harder, but I think that that just wasn’t where my brain was at. I had always been sort of, like, a visionary — and more of a creative person. One thing that the show really showed me and the world is where my knowledge had lied,” he continued. “For me, that was always music and fashion and culture and art. Being able to showcase that for everybody, it’s nice to show people who think that I wouldn’t know a lot about those things that I do care about it. Some people think that people in our industry are half-ass caring about these things that they really care about and really pay attention to.”
Hudson’s passion not only translated on Nation’s Dumbest but in his music as well. Five years after the release of his first album, he is preparing to debut a new record, “Somebody to Hate,” on Friday, September 18.
“My sound has matured in a lot of ways, both sonically and lyrically. I know my approach now and I wanted to really understand and take the time with my voice and understand what pocket and range it sits in, what my sweet spot is, what my signature sound is and how I wanted to deliver it,” he explained. “I think for a lot of different artists, it comes in different ways, whether it’s ad libs or lyrical content. I wanted to find what that identity was for me. There’s a lot of identity within this that people can start to understand and see as like a signature Huddy sound, especially going forward. A lot of my music might obviously not be the exact same, but I think that there’s a lot of this and what there’s to look forward to in the future. It is new and it’s very fresh. It’s taking old ’90s and 2000s rock and making it sound new.”
Hudson also broke down the message behind the album’s title.
“It is just about growing up feeling like people had something against me. Whether it was on social media where they didn’t like me or they didn’t like my music or I felt like they had been trying to find a reason to not like me,” he recalled. “So I think this was sort of taking that power back. There’s a story line to all of it as well. Things that I’ve gone through throughout my life living in L.A. that have made me into the person that I am today. I wanted to open up and be vulnerable with people about my journey in a way that feels striking. When you see it at first, I think a lot of people saw the title and were like, ‘What? This is crazy.’ And I’m just like, ‘No, it’s not me being defensive that I am somebody to hate.’”
He concluded: “If people want to put that label onto me, I’ll wear it. I want not to convince you that I’m not somebody to hate but to show you an introspective look into who I am.”
Nation’s Dumbest concludes on Fox Wednesday, September 16, at 9 p.m. ET.

Inside Julia Haart’s Biggest Divorce Breakthrough
Julia Haart‘s efforts in her messy divorce battle were not in vain.
The “My Unorthodox Life” star has been embroiled in a bitter divorce from her ex-husband, Silvio Scaglia, since 2022, marked by legal battles that began when he tried to remove her from their joint company.
Four years and numerous legal appearances later, Julia Haart walks off triumphant thanks to probing investigations into the talent company’s financials.

Haart and Scaglia, who jointly owned and managed the world’s most prestigious modeling agency, which represents top talents like Adriana Lima, Kendall Jenner, and Vittoria Ceretti, have officially and legally called it quits. This comes years after a grueling $90 million divorce legal war.
For those who do not know, Scaglia bought Elite Models in 2011 and appointed Haart as the agency’s CEO in March 2019, months before the wedding. Shortly after the fashion designer revealed her plans to end their union, Scaglia tried to have her removed from the company.
This triggered a series of lawsuits and brutal countersuits over control of Elite and other associated companies, including claims from the Tech boss that his ex-wife had siphoned company funds.
The divorce drama escalated to the point that a judge even issued arrest warrants for Scaglia, for which he has reportedly been held in contempt of court.
The ‘My Unorthodox Life’ Star Has The Last Laugh
Court documents obtained by Page Six show a judge finally dissolved the marriage and awarded 100% of the company to Haart. Not only did she get the company, but she also walked off with their $57 million Tribeca apartment.
The mom of four secured her victory by hiring a forensic accountant to comb through company records as part of the divorce and having her ex-husband’s assistant testify in the hearings.
With this, she was able to refute Scaglia’s claims that she stole company funds and flip the switch on him. According to court filings, Haart’s team presented evidence that the tech boss had transferred “tens of millions of dollars to various third parties and entities including payments to himself and his paramour Michelle Marie Heinemann.”
His accountant also told the court that “company funds were used to purchase various luxury automobiles, such as two Bentleys and a Porsche, as well as luxury jewelry from Van Cleef & Arpels,” among other items.
The court’s ruling stated that Scaglia had transferred so much money from the company that it was worth as much as his shares “and then some”; thus, it was only fair to hand the rest of Elite Models over to the TV show star, giving her full ownership of the business.
Julia Haart Moved From Half To Full Ownership
“In 2022, Silvio claimed I owned zero percent; today, he owns zero percent, and I own 100 percent of EWG,” Haart said in a statement after expressing gratitude to the court for taking her side in the case.
Last year, a judge awarded her control of the firm despite her ex’s attempt to kick her off completely. The previous ruling granted her 50% ownership of Elite World Group and power of attorney.
The Blast previously reported that a judge awarded Haart a 50% ownership stake in Freedom Holding and granted her power of attorney over Scaglia’s remaining 50% interest. This ruling ensured the mom of four could make independent decisions about the company without needing her ex-husband’s approval.
The Entrepreneur Walked Away Millions Of Dollars Richer
In addition to getting her seat back in the company and her multi-million-dollar mansion, Haart was also awarded nearly $10 million in cash after Judge Jeffrey Pearlman granted her a default judgment in the divorce.
The funds came from a ruling regarding the penthouse, which was their matrimonial home throughout their four years of marriage. The judge awarded the Netflix show star a whopping $7.4 million in unpaid management fees for 2019 to 2021, as shared by The Blast.
The fashion designer also received half of the proceeds from the sale of a Kees Van Dongen painting, which Scaglia sold for approximately $2.97 million.
Pearlman also ruled that Haart would receive half of the funds Scaglia allegedly withdrew from the company, which, according to his former assistant, totals more than $25 million.
Inside Julia Haart And Silvio Scaglia’s Love Story

Scaglia and Haart met in the world of business. The pair first crossed paths in 2015 when her eponymous shoe brand collaborated with his lingerie brand, La Perla. They met again the following year, when Haart was hired to be La Perla’s creative director. That marked the beginning of their relationship, but only as colleagues.
The now-divorced pair moved from a professional relationship to friendship, which then evolved into something more, and three years later they tied the knot. Scaglia and Haart said I do on June 22, 2019, a day the fashion designer previously labeled the “happiest day” of her life.
According to Oprah Daily, the Italian billionaire often gushed about his love for Haart, describing her online as “a force of nature” whom he is in awe of. He even took her last name after they got married. They continued to work together as lovers and partners until 2022, when Haart decided to call it quits.
