Days of our Lives Early Spoilers July 6-10: Gabi Enraged, Holly Spirals & Shocking Break-In!
Days of Our Lives early spoilers for July 06-10, 2026 see Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) mad about family matters. Plus, Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) is doing much worse, and there’s a sneaky break-in tied to the latest DiMera drug drama.
And if you have not noticed, July Sweeps is picking up speed in Salem.
And as we always do on Early Edition Day, we’re going to talk about the rest of this week and what’s happening and then get into the spoilers for the week of July 6th through the 10th.
Days of Our Lives: Family Secrets and Medical Crisis – July 1st Through 3rd
So, let’s do this. On Wednesday, July 1st, we’ve got Gabi taken off guard by Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow). She may want to talk to Gabi about the money that she had offered Titan that of course Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) initially turned down and Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) circled back around to say yes please about. And I can see Kate telling Gabi that they need it. But it won’t make up for her betraying Kate’s precious golden boy, Philip.
I’m also expecting to see Gabi shocked when she heads into Brady Pub and finds out Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) gave Arianna Hernandez (Vico Escorcia) a soft place to land now that she packed her stuff and left the Hernandez house over Gabi’s little payoff stunt with Liam Selejko (Hank Northrop).
Days of our Lives Spoilers: Roman & Kate Showdown
This week we also have Roman and Kate facing off at the pub. When she talks to Gabi, she’s got suitcases in her hand. So, we’ll see if Kate is moving out since she and Roman are already sleeping in separate bedrooms or maybe coming back. He just told Arianna that he understands about being lied to by somebody you love.
Speaking of that, Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford) keeps something from Abe Carver (James Reynolds). Obviously, it’s about her growing neurological symptoms. Lexie is clearly degenerating. And Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) told EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) that he’s not sure if Lexie will even make it a month given how bad off that she is. When Wilhelm gave her the last dose of the serum, it didn’t even help at all. The one before it did some good. This last one didn’t make a dent on Days of our Lives.
Days of our Lives Spoilers: Lexie Has to Come Clean
And soon Lexie has to tell Abe and Theo what’s going on. She can’t avoid it much longer. EJ is frantic and seems to have too many balls in the air with the Coriseal mess, Holly’s illness, and now his sister Lexie is dying again. And Rolf’s got nothing in his bag of tricks to save her this time.
Javi Hernandez (Jacob Martinez) questions his boyfriend Gus (Michael Ocampo). And it may be about why he took Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) to the hospital and whether he was polite to Gus. He was. But Leo did not like seeing them kissing while he was trying to sneak out of the hospital when Sarah didn’t return because she was dealing with Holly’s crisis. So, I do wonder if they’re going somewhere with the Leo concussion mention.
Days of our Lives Spoilers: Gwen Steps Up for Leo
Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) ends up helping her bestie Leo after he slipped on Charlotte DiMera’s (Autumn Gendron) slime at the pub. Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) said that Leo cannot leave the hospital without someone to care for him because it is his second concussion. Chad DiMera (Connor Floyd) might help. But he’s busy getting the kids ready for their visit to Boston. So, Gwen is going to step up.
Meanwhile, Philip and Xander are totally shocked and they may learn more about the AR Capital holding company that bought their loan from the bank recently. And I’m still wondering if Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) is behind it. But we’ll see.
Days of our Lives Spoilers: Thursday, July 2nd
EJ finds out about a bad thing going on Smith Island. So, I wonder if it was Rita who sent somebody out there to monitor the situation at the Horton cabin because some silver-haired guy was in the bushes spying on Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) while he was taking the water sample at the Horton cabin. Sarah said the results would take 3 to 5 days. Seriously, this is a medical emergency.
Plus, Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) tries to distract Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson). She might be trying to keep him away from Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) and all to herself. So Joy and Alex are over at Brady Pub and she’s got him looking at Kelsey in her stroller. And Joy is also in a very tight, very low-cut top that has her belly hanging out and her cleavage. So, Alex might get distracted.
Days of our Lives Spoilers: Stephanie Goes Off
And then Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) is listening to Stephanie ranting. I think she’s worried about her marriage. Rightly so, because Alex is off spending time with Joy and Kelsey, and Stephanie can’t be around. Because you know, she tried to shoot Joy. I wouldn’t put it past Joy to hide Alex’s phone or turn it to airplane mode or silent, trying to keep him focused on her and their baby and away from Stephanie.
Sarah opens up to Brady some more this week. Sarah is really worried about Holly and that her time might be running out. EJ could literally save Holly’s life if he just told Sarah that he knows she’s been exposed to arsenic. Now hopefully EJ is going to get that info into the right hands. But right now he’s also in cover-up mode. Tate Black (Leo Howard) and Holly are reminiscing as she is feeling sicker and sicker, so time is indeed running out.
Days of our Lives Spoilers: Friday, July 3rd — Fourth of July in Salem
The Fourth of July hits Salem. Get ready for fireworks on the 250th anniversary of the U.S. It is also Trey’s first birthday. I’m interested to see if EJ scores an invite to his grandson’s big day since Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) begrudgingly has let EJ back into their lives, which honestly wasn’t a great idea considering what he does next with Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) because EJ really needs Johnny’s help.
So EJ is pulling Johnny into this Coriseal mess as DiMera CEO and very soon EJ convinces Johnny to sneak into Sarah’s office at the hospital. So, maybe EJ is keeping an eye on Sarah while Johnny does this dirty job. He is rifling her desk and maybe looking for info.
Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) are all in their feelings this week. They head out to a nice dinner at the bistro and that’s where they run into Belle Black (Martha Madison) and Chad who are also out for a nice dinner now that he put his kids in the car with Jack for that long drive back to Boston. Shawn and Jada make love as fireworks go off outside and Belle and Chad share a romantic moment during the fireworks display and another kiss.
And we also have Abe and Lexie cuddling. They’re watching fireworks and Abe stresses out Lexie when he says he’s looking forward to many more July 4ths with her because Lexie knows that’s not likely to happen. Also, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) is worried and opens up to Belle maybe about the chess set mystery.

Days of Our Lives: Consequences and Revelations – July 6th Through 10th
The week of July 6th through the 10th, we may get more Fourth of July action if it carries over from cliffhanger Friday.
Test results for Horton cabin water should show elevated arsenic. So far though, nobody knows why that’s happening. The info itself would be enough to treat Holly. But so far only the DiMeras know that they buried the tainted Coriseal pills out there. So, seems like EJ needs Rita to send somebody out there to dig those pills up before anybody else finds them. But of course, that is a dangerous job.
Also, EJ is going to be firing Sarah soon, and it’s going to be all during the Holly sickness storyline. EJ and Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) may make some fireworks of their own on the fourth. But EJ has a lot on his mind, and so does Cat.
Days of our Lives Spoilers: Lexi Has to Come Clean
Holly’s going to find out soon that she has arsenic poisoning, and of course, she still has to face Amy Choi (Shi Ne Nielson) lawsuit. EJ may come check on Holly about the suit and obviously is feeling guiltier about her health crisis which was caused by DiMera Enterprises Pharmaceuticals.
Lexie has to tell Abe and Theo the truth soon about her limited expected lifespan. Lexie and Theo hug each other and cry when she tells him. And Lexie is soon back in the hospital as Kayla tries to save her. And Abe rages at EJ over all of this.
Belle and Chad discussed the chess set clues. There are more hints soon as the mystery continues to unfold and we know that somebody is watching Belle and Chad on some kind of surveillance camera and they’re dropping more tidbits based on Stefano DiMera’s (Joe Mascolo) orders from beyond the grave.
Kristen and Xander’s relationship deepens as they continue to try and take down EJ. But Kristen is going to be kidnapped in July Sweeps, it looks like. And Chanel gets creative when she has some sexy time with Johnny soon.

Which NCIS Stars Are — And Aren’t — Returning for Season 24?
NCIS left fans with a major cliffhanger and possible death to end season 23 — so will the full cast be returning next season?
“If you ask me to speculate, I think there’s a major, major shakeup happening,” Wilmer Valderrama, who plays Nick Torres, told People in June 2026 after his character pulled a gun on Timothy McGee’s (Sean Murray) son, Mateo (Patrick Keleher), in a dark alley after confronting him during the finale about secretly logging into an NCIS computer.
The actor teased, “Next season, there’s some major changes and there are some major additions. What does that mean for Torres? I can only hope that he makes it out alive.”
NCIS showrunner Steven D. Binder confirmed to TV Insider that “someone was hit” during that pivotal shootout scene, but revealed death won’t be the outcome.
“I sort of had my fill this season, all of us, of killing people. So I can rule that out,” Binder explained in May 2026, referring to NCIS Director Leon Vance (Rocky Carroll) being killed off during season 23. “And also, there’s not a lot of fun there. When someone’s dead, they’re dead.”
Scroll down to see which cast members are — and aren’t — coming back for season 24:
Sean Murray

Sean Murray as Timothy McGee. Robert Voets/CBS
Murray’s Timothy McGee is the only remaining character from season 1 of the flagship series and there are no signs of his departure anytime soon.
“We’re still trying to do different shows and not trying to just do the same old thing. We’re trying to bring new stuff into it,” Murray exclusively told Us Weekly in November 2025, reflecting on his NCIS journey. “And I think that’s one of the reasons why I’ve never been bored here. … We’re always looking for the kind of, the interesting angle on things and a different take.”
Based on the season 23 finale, McGee’s dynamic with his teenage son (Keleher), whom he recently learned existed, will be a major focus next season. During the May 2026 finale, McGee’s son claimed he didn’t want to have an NCIS internship, only to be flushed out by Torres (Valderrama), who discovered he’s accessed their servers but kept the reason under wraps.
Wilmer Valderrama

Wilmer Valderrama as Nick Torres. Robert Voets/CBS
Valderrama is expected to reprise his role as Nick Torres during season 24, but his condition following the explosive finale has not been revealed.
“To be honest, I don’t think we figured that one out yet,” Valderrama told People in June 2026 of what will happen to Torres now that someone got a shot off in the alley, hinting Torres or Mateo could be injured. “I don’t think we have an idea yet. I asked, ‘What do we want from it,’ but I will tell you that someone does get hit and people might not like it.”
Gary Cole

Gary Cole as Alden Parker. Sonja Flemming/CBS
Gary Cole joined the cast during season 19 in 2021. With Director Leon Vance (Carroll) no longer at the helm of the office following his season 23 death, Cole’s Alden Parker will seemingly continue to hold down the fort for season 24.
Katrina Law

Katrina Law as Jessica Knight. Robert Voets/CBS
Katrina Law began playing Special Agent Jessica Knight during season 18 in 2021. She is the only female agent in the office, and after a brief stint on the REACT team, it appears as though she’ll be firmly planted back at NCIS next season.
Brian Dietzen

Brian Dietzen as Jimmy Palmer. Robert Voets/CBS
As the chief medical examiner, Brian Dietzen’s Dr. Jimmy Palmer has appeared to find his forever home on NCIS.
Diona Reasonover

Diona Reasonover as Kasie Hines. Michael Yarish/2025 CBS Entertainment Inc
Season 23 gave fans a little more insight into forensic scientist Kasie Hines’ background and actress Diona Reasonover has hinted there is plenty more where that came from.
“I would love to see an episode where Kasie is basically, like, trying so hard to [have] this new persona that she’s like Jim Carrey in Yes, Man, where she decides that she’s only gonna be an open book and only tell everybody everything that’s going on for the day and see what happens,” Reasonover exclusively told Us in April 2026 after fans learned about Kasie’s college girlfriend and her romantic past after years of being quiet about it.
Patrick Keleher

Patrick Keleher as Mateo Garcia and Brian Dietzen as Jimmy Palmer. Robert Voets/CBS
Keleher made his NCIS debut during season 23 as McGee’s (Murray) son. During the season finale, he was confronted by Torres (Valderrama) about why he was sneaking around the NCIS servers, but instead of answering he pulled out a gun and told Torres to back off.
Based on the cliffhanger — and showrunner Binder’s tease about no one being dead — viewers should expect Keleher to reprise the role in at least one episode next season.
Michael Weatherly

Michael Weatherly as Tony DiNozzo. Marcell Piti/Paramount+
After exiting the series in 2016, Weatherly is reprising his role as Anthony “Tony” DiNozzo for season 24. The network announced in July 2026 that Weatherly will have a “season-long” arc and be involved in a case that lasts throughout the 2026-2027 season. “I’ll see you in the fall,” Weatherly said in an Instagram video, confirming his casting.
Weatherly was last seen on NCIS during the season 21 tribute to the late David McCallum, who played Dr. Donald “Ducky” Mallard on the hit series until his death in September 2023.
Mark Harmon

Mark Harmon. Brian Bowen Smith/CBS
Mark Harmon originated the character of Leroy Jethro Gibbs on NCIS. He exited in the series during season 19 in 2022, but has continued to narrate and play adult Gibbs on NCIS: Origins.
Harmon’s return to the OG series has not been confirmed, but since his character is alive, there’s always a chance.

Raunchy And Forgotten 2000’s Crime Comedy Is An R-Rated Naked Gun
By Robert Scucci
| Published

If you’ve ever found yourself wondering what Naked Gun humor would play like if any of the films were R-Rated, it’s pretty much exactly what you’d expect. Wordplay and visual gags dominate both the dialogue and the background, but there’s a whole lot more cursing and the occasional bare bottom for good measure. If you want to see this kind of humor in practice, your best bet is 2001’s Camouflage, starring none other than the Prince of Puns himself, Leslie Nielsen. Nielsen does what he does best in Camouflage, saying and doing the most off-the-wall things with a completely straight face while operating as an authority figure, even though there are thousands of men better suited for the job.
You’ll recognize all the familiar neo-noir crime comedy beats in Camouflage, which critics always seem to hate. 1993’s Fatal Instinct, one of my favorite films in the subgenre, currently boasts a 14 percent critical score on Rotten Tomatoes. Similarly, Camouflage doesn’t even have a critical score, and isn’t faring much better with audiences, sitting at a 17 percent approval rating.

While I’ll be the first to admit that Camouflage doesn’t hold a candle to classics like Airplane! or The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!, I’d say it certainly competes with the 2025 Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson-led reboot in the sense that all the mechanics for a great comedy are there. It’s simply more of the same without really offering anything new to the formula.
Still, it’s Leslie Nielsen reliably being Leslie Nielsen, so if you’re a fan of his work in this wheelhouse, you really can’t go wrong with Camouflage.
Drunk On Power, And Pepsi?

In Camouflage, Marty Mackenzie (Lochlyn Munro) is technically the main character, but his burning desire to become a detective leads him straight to Jack Porter (Leslie Nielsen). Marty is a struggling (read: failed) actor, and when his detective-themed play is killed by critics before it even has a chance at a proper premiere, he decides he needs to play the field in order to improve it. He tracks down Jack Porter, a hard-boiled private eye whose ulcers are so bad that he’s switched to swigging Pepsi from his flask.
The problem is that Jack is on the verge of retirement and has grown cynical because most of his cases involve spying on unfaithful partners and ruining marriages by documenting their infidelity. Marty convinces Jack to let him handle an infidelity case, which leads him to Beaver Ridge, Oregon, where he stumbles across the kind of crime any real detective would want to sink his teeth into: a murder plot.

Basically, Marty is trying to get pictures of an unfaithful partner bumping uglies outside a construction site when he witnesses an explosion meant to take out its owner, Lionel Pond (Tom Aldredge), a seemingly wealthy real estate tycoon who’s secretly on the verge of bankruptcy according to his banker, Horace Tutt, Junior (Patrick Warburton). Complicating matters is Sheriff Alton Owens (William Forsythe), who doesn’t take kindly to the presence of either detective and always seems to show up at active crime scenes during the most incriminating possible times.
The woman closest to the case, Cindy Davies (Vanessa Angel), becomes romantically involved with Marty, and her insight into the investigation sends him on a wild goose chase that raises more questions than answers. Don’t worry, though, because this results in Marty nearly succumbing to cannibalism, but only after destroying Jack’s Chevelle and before destroying his surveillance van.
The Humor Is Reliable, But Not Top Form

Camouflage is disappointing because for every home run of a joke, there are several that swing and miss. Classic bangers like, “Don’t call me a softy. The Viagra fixed that,” are predictable but comfortable, but I was never able to fully understand why Jack Porter insisted on calling everybody a pecker. It’s funny on its own when used in passing once or twice, but he says it often enough to make me think writers Billy Bob Thornton, Tom Epperson, and Karl Schanzer believed they had an epic catchphrase on their hands.
Lochlyn Munro, whose brand of comedy I can only really take in small doses, plays off Nielsen like the two went way back before working together on this film, and the mix of his naivety and Nielsen’s cynicism is what really sells Camouflage. It’s a comedy of errors that’s heavy on slapstick, and some of the best moments happen when something blows up in the background, only for Marty to look completely dumbfounded even though he’s experiencing the exact kind of danger he wanted to experience in the first place.

Camouflage is a lower-brow, R-Rated version of the Naked Gun films that inspired it, and while it’s certainly a diamond in the rough, it’s far from Leslie Nielsen’s finest hour. If you’re a fan of his work and this kind of humor specifically, you’ll have a great time watching it. If you’re hoping it’s going to reinvent the wheel and change how you think about comedy forever, then you don’t know dick about being a dick!

As of this writing, Camouflage is streaming free on Tubi.

“When we saw something suspicious on her, we took her to the ER and they didn’t quite know what to make of it. When we took her into our pediatrician, I just remember him going really quiet and calm … My heart dropped in that moment. I don’t know whether it was my gut telling me something or just a mom’s intuition, but the first thing that I felt was she has cancer.”
The mother of four added that Whimsy immediately began chemotherapy treatments. She explained that the diagnosis and caretaking for her family are why she’s been posting less on social media. It’s unclear what Whimsy’s current health status is.

Malcolm in the Middle Cast: Where Are They Now?
Malcolm in the Middle’s plucky attitude made it one of the most iconic TV shows of the early 2000s — and fans are still trying to keep up with the cast.
The comedy, which was a faux memoir of middle child Malcolm Wilkerson (Frankie Muniz), detailed the Wilkerson family’s low-income, dysfunctional life and all the highs and lows that came with it. The sitcom reminded viewers that all families are complicated — but even the most wild relatives can’t out crazy the Wilkersons.
Throughout its seven-season run, which lasted from 2000 to 2006, the series earned 33 Emmy nominations, seven wins and seven Golden Globe nominations. Muniz brought to life whiz kid Malcolm but the Wilkerson squad also consisted of two older brothers — Francis Wilkerson (Christopher Masterson) and Reese Wilkerson (Justin Berfield) — and the baby, Dewey Wilkerson (Erik Per Sullivan). Cloris Leachman rounded out the cast as grandma Ida.
More than a decade after Malcolm in the Middle came to an end, the Wilkerson family is still on the minds of many of the show’s diehard fans and in December 2024 Disney+ ordered a limited, four-episode revival featuring Muniz, Cranston and Kaczmarek.

Taylor Swift’s Relationship With Travis Kelce’s Nieces
Taylor Swift has fully embraced auntie mode ahead of her highly anticipated wedding to Travis Kelce.
“Everybody knows how close Travis is with his family, so it really means everything to him how seamlessly Taylor blends in with all of them,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly in January 2024 of Swift’s easy rapport with Kelce’s relatives. “His family is all about just hanging out, joking and having a great time. It’s almost like she’s known his family forever, and he loves that about her.”
Swift and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end have been together since summer 2023. In the years since, the pop star has blended seamlessly in with the Kelce clan — including with the four daughters of Travis’ brother, Jason Kelce, and his wife, Kylie Kelce: (Jason and Kylie are parents of Wyatt, Ellie, Bennett and Finnley.)
Keep scrolling to learn more about Swift’s role as an aunt to the Kelce girls:
Taylor Swift Bakes for Travis Kelce’s Nieces
During her August 2025 debut on the Jason and Travis’ “New Heights” podcast, the pop superstar opened up about her hobbies, which she jokingly called “grandma” coded — including a sourdough fixation that has turned into a family-wide love language between her and Travis’ four nieces.
“Right now, we’re very deep in a sourdough obsession,” she said at the time. “I’ve been workshopping [one] for the girls because they love everything rainbow: Funfetti sourdough.”
She added, “They love sprinkles. We put sprinkles in everything when we hang out.”
Taylor Swift Introduced Travis Kelce’s Nieces to Her Cats

Elsewhere during her “New Heights” debut, Swift revealed that she aimed to show the girls that cats weren’t poisonous despite Jason’s claims to the contrary.
“As soon as I got the kids around the cats, it was my goal to prove to them that they weren’t poisonous,” she said. “There’s no better way to prove that than to just hand them Benjamin, my ragdoll cat, who lets humans hold him like he’s a baby. My favorite thing ever is when Bennie will come up to me and just go, ‘I find Benjamin, I find him.’ And she’s just over there laying with him and petting him and holding him.”
Swift has three pet cats: Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson and Benjamin Button.
“The cats are so good with kids,” she gushed. “They’re just like, ‘Meredith is here!’ I’m like, ‘And you know what? She didn’t bite you at all, did she? And if she did bite you, she wouldn’t be poisonous.’ They’re like, ‘That’s not what our dad said.’”
Wyatt Kelce’s Favorite Taylor Swift Song
Long before Swift’s baking phase and feline hangouts, Jason and Kylie’s oldest was already a superfan. At Kelce Jam in May 2024, Travis told Access Hollywood that Wyatt has a clear favorite pick from Swift’s catalog.
When the interviewer rattled off tracks including “The Alchemy,” “Fearless” and “The Man,” Travis lit up at the last one.
“There’s so many. ‘The Man’ is my niece’s favorite, so we can always go with ‘The Man,’” he said, referring to Wyatt.
Swift later invited Wyatt and her sisters Ellie and Bennett to see multiple concerts onThe Eras Tour in 2024.
Meeting the Newest Kelce
Jason and Kylie welcomed their fourth daughter, Finnley “Finn” Anne Kelce, in March 2025. Swift subtly congratulated the couple by “liking” Kylie’s Instagram announcement.
Months later, Jason told Entertainment Tonight that Swift met the newborn in person.
“We were fortunate to have them all in. It doesn’t happen often — everybody’s busy — but it was really special,” he told the outlet in May 2025. “Thankfully we have a really tight-knit family that makes time for each other, and it’s been awesome.”
Taylor Swift Sits With Kylie Kelce and Her Girls at Chiefs Game
Kylie brought her kids to Travis’ home football game for the first time in December 2025, where they sat with Swift in a private box.
“The girls had not yet seen Uncle Trav play in Arrowhead Stadium,” Kylie said on her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast later that month. “It was also super exciting to get to see friends and family that were there, because the girls were so excited to get to watch a game with all of them. They are not that interested in football, to be quite honest with you. They actually yell at us any time we try to put football on the TV and only get on board after a little while of realizing that they can freely yell.”
She added of her youngest daughter, “Finnie slept for, like, an hour and a half there, so she’s a real one. She actually slept through all the screaming and cheering, which is hilarious to me.”

PlayStation Officially Announces Free Games for July 2026
Video game fans have had more than enough content so far this year to keep them satisfied, and one of the first new releases came back in March with Crimson Desert, hailing from the developer Pearl Abyss. Back at the start of June, one of the most anticipated games of the year finally dropped after years worth of delays, and it’s safe to say that 007 First Light lived up to the hype. Developer IO Interactive has already confirmed that it is working on a sequel to the game. Coming in July are two big releases on the same day, with Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced and EA Sports College Football 27, which are both launching on July 9. This is only part of what gaming fans have to be excited about in 2026, though.
Coming in September from Insomniac, the same studio behind the critically acclaimed Spider-Man trilogy, is Marvel’s Wolverine, a brand-new PS5 exclusive following the legendary clawed mutant. This will be one of the last big releases before GTA 6, which has been set for release on November 19. For gamers who are looking for something to play while waiting for these exciting new releases coming in the next few months, PlayStation has you covered. Just a few days ago, the gaming company finally announced the trio of games that will be available for this month’s PS Plus subscribers, and they include Black Desert, Blades of Fire, and Farming Simulator 25. These games are all available to download for free, starting today, June 30, and anyone who downloads them before the end of the month will have access to them forever.
How Much Does ‘GTA 6’ Cost?
Last week, Rockstar Games finally revealed the prices for GTA 6, and fans have been divided over the latest update. The base GTA 6 game will cost $80, making it one of the first games in history to bump the price up from $70, and the Ultimate Edition for GTA 6 will cost $100. Players who pay the extra $20 for the Ultimate Edition will have access to additional cosmetic shops to customize cars, change clothes, adjust tattoos, and more. The base game launching on November 19 will also only be single-player, and Rockstar has confirmed that multiplayer will come at a later date, likely for an additional cost.
Stay tuned to Collider for more updates and coverage of all the hottest gaming releases coming later this year.

Extremely R-Rated Road Thriller You Never Heard Of Will Push Your Loyalty To The Limit

I love tight thrillers with even tighter runtimes because sometimes you don’t need any worldbuilding whatsoever to set a story in motion. 2012’s Sun Don’t Shine is one of those films, clocking in at 82 minutes, and it’s an absolute masterclass in showing without telling, which is increasingly difficult to find these days in the streaming era.
By Season 5, the Stranger Things kids basically stared directly into the camera while spelling out crucial plot points to accommodate second-screen viewing. Lesser thrillers feel like we need to know everybody’s backstory before we can get into the conflict. Sometimes it’s necessary. Past is prologue, and we need some sort of character foundation to launch from.

Sun Don’t Shine isn’t that kind of movie, and its thrills come from not knowing where the protagonists are coming from or where they’re going. As a viewer, it’s up to you to put the pieces together and figure out exactly what the conflict is, and whether we should trust, or even like, the people whose lives we’re watching fall apart in real time.
It Starts With A Body And Gets So Much Worse
When we’re first introduced to Crystal (Kate Lyn Sheil), she’s in the middle of nowhere getting roughed up by a man named Leo (Kentucker Audley), who we soon learn is her boyfriend. Right off the rip, it’s reasonable to assume that Crystal is some sort of helpless abuse victim for a number of reasons. She’s very soft-spoken, appears to be in the middle of an ongoing mental health crisis, and we don’t know who, or what, is responsible for her current state of mind.

Leo is also a man of few words, but he seems determined to see his way through whatever nightmare he’s currently navigating. Through their conversations and behavior, we learn that there’s a dead body in the trunk of Leo’s car, but who killed him remains unclear.
Leo has a plan that he thinks will make everything better, which involves dropping Crystal off at a campsite while he spends the night with his ex-girlfriend, Terri (Kit Gwin), as a means of establishing alibis. Crystal, suspecting Leo of cheating on her with an old flame, refuses to stick to the script, and that’s when her rage, and his indifference, begins to surface for everybody to see.
This Movie Will Wreck You

What’s so enthralling about Sun Don’t Shine is how much it accomplishes by making you read between the lines. It actually trusts the viewer to arrive at their own conclusions. On the other side of the coin, by the time you reach the third act, you’ll have witnessed enough traumatizing scenes to fully understand what truly makes this relationship tick, who’s actually in the wrong, and who deserves a shot at redemption.
Not knowing who the body belongs to, or how they died, really makes you wonder why Leo is so on edge while handling the situation with Crystal. It’s during the quiet moments of reflection, when the couple isn’t on the run, that we learn just how messed up their lives are at this moment in time, and how their recent actions are about to blow up in their faces.

Kate Lyn Sheil’s ability to transform Crystal from a sobbing damsel in distress into a full-blown psycho, and Kentucker Audley’s willingness to wear whatever face Crystal needs his character to in the moment to make sure their plan goes off without a hitch, should be studied by filmmakers because I didn’t know who to root for until all the cards were laid out on the table.
Honestly, I still don’t. I’ll be thinking about Sun Don’t Shine for a long time because you only see what you see, and you have to read between the lines. Those lines, though, are crossed frequently and often blurred, making neither lead particularly sympathetic nor worthy of abject condemnation. We’re simply watching two people at their wits’ end after one, or both of them, did something horrible, and they’re trying to process the trauma of it all with very little time to lay low and gather their senses.

Sun Don’t Shine is far from an easy watch, but it’s a powerhouse of a thriller that will keep you up at night. The final lines uttered from Crystal’s mouth will haunt you, and if that’s what you’re looking for in a thriller, you’ll find it here.

As of this writing, Sun Don’t Shine is streaming for free on Tubi.
