Days of our Lives: Gabi, Gwen & Leo Crack the Fake-Bag Riddle
Days of Our Lives still has Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), with help from Leo Stark (Greg Rikkart) investigating the stolen Gabi Chic handbag designs. But are they looking for the right culprit at DiMera Enterprises? Gabi’s now convinced the culprit isn’t at Titan, but at DiMera, and that it is EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). But is she right, or is she just making assumptions based on nothing?
Days of our Lives: Gabi’s Shocking Realization
Now, let’s dive in. Earlier this summer, Gabi ran into Gwen in Horton Town Square, and Gabi noticed Gwen was carrying a new Gabi Chic bag, and she was excited. But it didn’t take Gabi long to realize that Gwen was carrying a knockoff bag, not a true designer purse. Later, Leo came along, and he wanted in on the action. And so, right now, he and Gwen really want to help Gabi.
And of course, she’s desperate to get to the bottom of the design theft. Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) talked it through with Gabi from a law enforcement perspective, but it looks like the FBI can’t really do a lot about it right now. A lot of this stuff is happening overseas. Phony designer purses also are not really a high priority for crime fighters. Even so, Rafe promised he’d do what he could, but nothing’s come of it.
Gabi Flips on Xander & Philip on DOOL
So, we all wondered if Gabi, Gwen, and Leo would circle back around to this case after the kidnapping drama. If you recall, Gabi was floored when she learned that knockoffs of her designs have been sold worldwide on a bunch of fake sites run by counterfeiters.
And she initially accused Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Philip Kiriakis because she assumed Titan stole her creations because the company needed funds and also to punish Gabi for spying on them. But as Xander and Philip both pointed out, there was no proof of this. Plus, it made no sense for them to do this to Gabi when she’d pledged them a chunk of her inheritance from Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash).
So, she was actually going to help bail out Titan. So, as Philip said, stealing from Gabi made no sense. And then later, Arianna Horton (Vico Escorcia) revealed somebody got hold of the prototype bag she took with her to work at her DiMera internship. So, she told Gabi it was missing, but Ari later found the purse in the employee break room, but it had been moved.
Everything was still intact. So, she didn’t think much about it, at least until Ari learned Gabi was dealing with counterfeits. So, now the signs point to somebody at DiMera as the possible culprit. And all somebody would have to do is grab the bag, take photos from all sides, then they could just copy the design.
Days of our Lives: Gabi Teams Up with Leo & Gwen
So, Gabi was advised to send cease and desist letters to the counterfeiters. And she did that, and it did no good. These are lawbreakers. A letter isn’t going to stop them. So now Gabi is investigating with help from Leo, and Gwen’s neck deep in it, and Leo is planning to do a big exposé on the sordid world of fake designer fashions and accessories because Chad DiMera (Connor Floyd) gave him the green light.
So, Leo’s already got a meeting set up, and he’s pushing for hard proof rather than assumptions. He wants evidence, and Gwen’s teamed up with Leo, and now her good pal Gabi is on the case. They’re all three working together because Gwen’s angry that she spent big bucks and got a fake instead of a Gabby Chic original.
But the question is, who’s behind the fake bags? Well, maybe EJ’s longtime henchwoman, Rita Lesley (Maggie Carney). She’s got direct access to the company office. She’s been involved with the DiMeras behind the scenes ever since Stefano was alive. Rita is very loyal. She takes orders. And she runs things in EJ’s absence. She has access to everything, including the areas where Ari’s unattended purse was left. So, she could have taken photos and returned without it being noticed. Rita is very loyal to EJ and all the DiMeras.
Rita Targeting Gabi on Days?
So, Rita’s motive may be to punish Gabi for doing the DiMeras’ dirty work. Just various things: the divorce, the inheritance, not taking the CEO job like Tony wanted. So Rita might have a revenge motive. She might be looking for a side profit for her retirement fund. But if it is her, there is a chance she may be doing it on orders from EJ. And it’s not about money.
Rita could be funneling Gabi’s designs to a DiMera manufacturing factory overseas to make cheap copies to sell worldwide just because EJ wants to punish her because he’s mad about the inheritance. Plus, this week’s spoilers say Rita doesn’t follow EJ’s orders exactly. So, we’ll see if this has something to do with that case or something else that she’s doing for EJ, other dirty work.
And we could see Leo finding a trail that leads back to DiMera and to somebody with influence and access like Rita, because access to Ari’s bag and manufacturing and shipping facilities makes Rita a prime suspect for who’s left holding the bag and counterfeiting the bag. Also, another possible culprit that I’ve talked about before is Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow).
I think she’s a prime suspect. Not only does she have ties at both Kiriakis and DiMera, but Kate could definitely have accessed the designs when Gabi’s bags were shipped at Kiriakis facilities. And Kate being around wouldn’t have raised suspicions. And if you recall, she suggested Ari seek that DiMera internship. So, Kate might have pushed Ari to place her there to implicate them in the design theft while Kate was stealing the designs off the loading dock at Titan.
Days of our Lives: Kate Targets Gabi?
It would be a huge slap in Ari’s face if Kate is the design thief and was using her. However, Kate always has a way to rationalize the bad things she does on Days of our Lives. Most of the time, it’s to protect one of her kids. And this might have been about revenge on Gabi. Kate might have wanted to punish her for breaking Philip’s heart because he was crushed when he found out Gabi was spying on Titan.
And now the company is hurting because of the domino effect of the forged letter, Gabi spying, and the merger falling apart. Plus, Kate’s very well-versed in the fashion industry. So, she could have set up a counterfeiting ring. She might even be using Titan Associates, but not Titan itself, to manufacture and move the goods around and throw Gabi off the trail. Kate might have done all this without leaving any fingerprints.
DOOL: Gabi Taking Off to Monte Carlo
So, Gwen or Leo may dig into Kate’s recent contacts, her finances, and any sudden interest in overseas fashion. Gabi’s leaving for Monte Carlo soon with Philip. So, I think this is a good time for Gwen and Leo to start looking into Kate and other people while Gabi’s out of town. So, Gwen and Leo may be able to investigate while Kate’s busy moving back into the pub and dealing with Titan drama and Kiriakis family mansion drama.
Now, one last possible culprit is Javi Hernandez‘s now ex-boyfriend, Gus (Michael Ocampo). I don’t know if we’ve seen the last of this guy because, if you remember, through Javi, Gus was living in the same house with Gabi where she kept work materials. So, Gus could have accessed hers or Javi’s computers.
He could have stolen the designs directly, like stolen the actual blueprints for the bags. And that could be because Javi has access to Gabi Chic servers from when he was her assistant. And by living in the same house as Gabi, Gus could have seen the prototype bag that Ari was carrying and maybe some others that Gabi had around.

Days of our Lives: Gus the Culprit?
So, just because the person went missing around the DiMera offices doesn’t mean that the design was stolen there. You know, somebody might have just picked it up and moved it. Gus’ motives could be financial. Maybe he owes money, or maybe he’s greedy, or maybe he wanted money to buy him and Javi a house. Gus might have had more than one motive. But if Leo finds a link back to Gus, that could cause problems because Javi might think it’s a false accusation made out of jealousy. Gabi, Gwen, and Leo definitely have their work cut out for them, but I suspect they’re going to be shocked when they find out who stole the Gabi Chic Designs.

Large cinema chains like Regal have announced they will sell these collectible popcorn buckets on September 24.
What Is Avengers: Endgame About?
Avengers: Endgame takes place immediately after the Thanos snap, where the remaining Avengers witness their loved ones and the people they know gone. While the Avengers did manage to find Thanos, the mad titan revealed that the gauntlet is now useless as he destroyed the stones. Five years later, the world adapts to this new world order, until Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) escapes the Quantum Realm and tells the Avengers they could get the stones and bring everyone back through time travel. Young and the Restless: Adam Rises as Favorite While Victor Turns on the Rest
The Young and the Restless could soon see Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) in a position he’s really never been in before. Because soon, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) might see his namesake son as the golden boy for a change, you know, the one that the mustache puts ahead of all his other kids, including Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
Right now, Victoria’s making decisions that Victor’s going to hate once he finds out. And Nick’s about to do some things Victor won’t approve of, in and out of rehab. Meanwhile, Adam’s being a good boy.
Young and the Restless: Adam Jumps to Fave Newman Child?
So, we could soon see Adam in the position of Victor’s favorite child, at least for a moment. And it may all be down to choices Victoria and Nick make in their love lives. And Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) may have a hand in this family upheaval as well.
So, we all know Adam’s got a history of getting on Victor’s bad side. Adam and Victor have been at odds so many times over the years. They’ve been full-on enemies at several points. If you recall, Adam conspired to send Victor to prison at one point, and then he did the same to Adam. It was really messy and ugly. But lately, aside from the debate about targeting Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), which Adam and Chelsea didn’t want to do, Adam has been on Victor’s good side.
And at this point, Adam’s tired of being the black sheep of the Newmans. He mentioned that not too long ago. It came up when Victor appointed Victoria as CEO of Newman Enterprises when they got it back from Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). And at the time, Victor also promised Nick a job there, too, once he’s out of rehab.
Adam Protects Sally on Y&R
Meanwhile, Adam and Chelsea were left empty-handed because Newman Media was still merged with Spectra Charles. And when Adam tried to convince Victor that he and Chelsea could build something new, Victor said, “Whatever, but he’s still going to target Sally.” And that’s why, if you recall, he went behind Victor’s back.
So back then, Adam told Sally he’s been doing everything right, and Victor still didn’t put him in charge of the family company. So Adam felt like basically all his effort was for nothing. This drama led to Adam buying Newman Media from Sally, which ticked off Victor. But things pivoted because Nick collapsed and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) moved in on Chancellor, and that changed the focus.
So, Adam then began using Newman Media to target Billy. So, that has him getting a pat on the head from Victor. And as you know, Adam’s always been desperate for Victor’s approval. And now, Adam’s living in Victor’s old house, and he’s doing what he’s told. And Adam has always hoped to be named as CEO of the family company, not through shenanigans, not through bribery, leverage, you know, but legit because Victor wanted him there.
And of course, Adam’s been CEO before, but he doesn’t want to do it in a shady way. He wants to earn it. And based on changing dynamics in the Newman family, it might happen. Victor might put Adam in charge of the company and name him the golden boy. Based on current storylines, it looks like Victoria and Nick may both end up on Victor’s bad side.
Young and Restless: Nick’s Choices Annoy Victor
Let’s start with Nick. Now, I don’t think this is anything to do with his addiction that sets Victor off. He’s fully supportive of Nick getting clean. He doesn’t blame him for the addiction. But while Nick’s in rehab trying to stay clean, Marie Kirkland (Jade Harlow) has become close to Nick. And already it’s more than friendship because Marie and Nick slept together. So, it’s very intense. It’s complex. And you can see this week that Marie is leaning on Nick. And I fully expect him and Marie to start an official romance. We all know Nick has that hero complex. He needs to save everybody, especially the women in his life.
He already saved Marie’s life when she overdosed in the motel room when they met. And now Nick’s trying to help Marie stay clean while trying to stay clean himself. So Nick’s trying to save her every day in rehab. And Victor is already concerned about Nick and Marie because we heard Victor telling Nikki he’s afraid Marie is going to be a bad influence.
I get that because Nick should be focused on his own recovery and not Marie’s recovery. And since she and Nick are both addicts, if Marie falls off the wagon, Nick might tumble right with her. Plus, rehab and twelve-step programs strongly recommend against starting new relationships while in recovery. But on the other hand, Nick feels ashamed around his family, but with Marie, he doesn’t because Nick and Marie are in the same boat and they understand each other.
Victor Terrified of Losing Nick on Y&R
But of course, Victor only cares about Nick’s well-being after watching him overdose and basically die right in front of him. So, Victor is afraid to lose him. And if Nick gets involved with Marie in rehab and, you know, stays with her after he gets out, I don’t think Victor’s going to tolerate it. On top of that, I expect Nikki keeps pushing for Jack to be Nick’s sponsor.
So, if he’s with Marie and also spending time with Jack as his sponsor, Victor may lose it, and he may tell Nick, “Get rid of that trashy woman and drop Jack. I’ll find you a better sponsor or else.” And because of his hero complex, I doubt that Nick would do what Victor says about Marie. And he may be stubborn about Jack as well. And Nikki may be fighting Victor about Jack.
So, in the end, Victor may tell Nick he can’t work at Newman Enterprises. I can see Victor lashing out, telling Nick, “Until you start living the way that I approve of, you know, you can’t be around us.” Meanwhile, Adam’s going to be the good child for a change.

Young and the Restless: Victoria Enrages Victor
So, now let’s talk about Victoria, because she just slept with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), and Victoria and Kyle agreed it was a one-time deal, but it’s not. It soon turns into a full-blown fling. And actor Michael Mueller said that soon enough there are feelings forming between Victoria and Kyle, but they are going to agree to keep it a secret affair. Now, I think the Abbotts won’t actually care if he’s with Victoria, other than not wanting more trouble from the mustache.
But Victor hates the Abbotts, and he will not tolerate this. If you recall, he really hated when Kyle was dating Claire. Victor even offered to fund Audrey’s company, Vibrante, if she would seduce Kyle away from Claire. And Kyle now despises Victor for nearly getting his parents killed. So they are at the worst point ever with each other.
So once Victor finds out Kyle is sleeping with Victoria, especially after dating Claire, I think Victor is going to blow his top. And Victoria said something recently that might have been foreshadowing. She told Kyle she is due for Victor to disown her again on Young and the Restless. And he might. Victoria already knows her daddy Victor will hate her being with Kyle. And the fake corporate rivalry that’s allowing Victoria to spend time with Kyle is going to be another thing Victor’s going to blow up about.
Young and Restless: Victor Flips on Nick & Victoria
You know, he’s going to figure out they’re having an affair and then all heck’s going to break loose. And if Victoria sticks with Kyle and refuses to dump him because she’s caught feelings, you know, Victoria doing that on top of Nick choosing Marie in defiance and both of them going against what Victor wants, that’s when things may change.
If all these stars align, I could see Victor making Adam CEO of Newman Enterprises, disowning Victoria, and kicking Nick out of his life. And of course, Victoria would be angry if Adam wound up with the CEO job, but if she was happy with Kyle, you know, Victoria might decide, all right, it’s a fair trade. As for Nick, he can be very stubborn. I think he would dig in his heels and say he didn’t want to work at Newman anyway, so Adam could finally get everything he’s always wanted because Victoria and Nick may soon defy Victor.

2 Adults Arrested After Kids Found Unsafely Placed in U-Haul
A man and woman were arrested in Illinois after four kids and two dogs were found in the “enclosed” area of a U-Haul truck.
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office announced in a press release that Roy Hamel II and Sabrina McKinney were taken into custody on Thursday, August 27, and were charged with six counts each of endangering the life or health of a child.
A vehicle driven by Hamel was stopped by deputies at 6:07 p.m. on Thursday on Interstate 55’s northbound on-ramp in Pontiac, Illinois.
Hamel told deputies that he was driving the U-Haul because he and the others in the vehicle were moving from Louisiana to Michigan. Deputies then began to search the truck, and they found four children and two dogs “traveling inside the enclosed bed of the U-Haul.”
“The children were taken to a hospital to be evaluated for possible heat-related injuries,” the sheriff’s office said in the press release. “The driver and passenger of the U-Haul were transported and released to the Livingston County Jail.”
In addition to sharing news of the arrests, the sheriff’s office posted a photo taken from a deputy’s body camera that showed the inside of the vehicle. The U-Haul was packed with large plastic storage bins, laundry baskets and garbage bags. Meanwhile, clothes were spread out throughout the vehicle and several children were seen not securely placed in the car while lying on top of various objects in the truck.
Police censored the children’s faces in the photo so they were not able to be identified.
Hamel is not only facing the endangering the life or health of a child charge, but he was also charged with one count of driving with a suspended license.
Despite confirming the adults’ arrests, authorities did not share additional information about the group, including the children’s ages, details about their conditions or how everyone in the vehicle was related.
Hamel and McKinney were arrested at the scene and were taken into custody at Livingston County Jail. Police did not say whether the children have been released from the hospital or whose custody they are in following the arrests.
It’s not currently clear if Hamel or McKinney have entered pleas or retained legal counsel following their arrests. The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office did not immediately respond to Us’ request for comment regarding updates in the case.
The investigation into the case remains ongoing.

Big Brother: Angela Hits a Tailspin – Drew Reveals HUGE Secret!
Big Brother live feeds updates are hot today. Plus, we’ve got info on the next episode and the castle comp. Plus, some really disturbing Drew Campbell and Rick Devens stuff and the big conversation around what Barrett Pfeiffer is going to do.
Big Brother: Watching for the Long Haul
Dirst, if you didn’t know, Wednesday’s episode is 2 hours which makes sense given we have the end of the castle comp, Haley Thogmartin‘s ejection, the HOH comp, noms, POV comp and the renom meeting. It’s going to be a jam-packed episode.
By the way, the whole castle comp, all stages, took 7 hours total. Haley did a lot of work in those comps – more than any other houseguest. Haley looked really sweaty and tired by the end.
Also, people are asking why no exit interviews yet. Haley hasn’t done exit interviews because they don’t do those until an elimination happens on a Big Brother episode. Look for Haley’s exit interviews on Thursday.
Big Brother 28: Can Devens Hold On?
After the veto meeting, we got reactions to Drew taking Devens up on his offer and renomming him. Taylor Brown and Yash Patel said “it’s like a reward” seeing Devens on the block. And the big question is whether he’ll survive the week.
They need four votes. Yash and Melody Morris are two. If Devens loses the Blockbuster, Taylor or Lala Verrett comes down and they’re the third vote. And if Barrett sticks with them, that’s four.
That’ll send Devens out and the vets are finally out of power in terms of numbers. And Angela Murray went into one of her paranoia spirals. She started going on about how she doesn’t like Barrett talking to the other side.
Devens told Angela to stop and said friends talk. Dee Valladares also told Angela to calm down because Drew told Barrett the icons don’t trust him. Dee said they need to stop talking about it out loud.
Big Brother: Dee Calls Out Dumb Strategy
Dee’s been saying it’s Devens’ own fault if he gets evicted because he shouldn’t have volunteered. Drew said if Devens doesn’t win the BB Blockbuster, Drew’s going to stand up and tell everyone that if it’s a tie, he’ll break it to keep Devens.
And in terms of Devens’ safety, I just want to remind you all that every single eviction in Big Brother 28, the renom went out. The one exception was week 5 where there was no renom.
Also, Angela and Drew laughed their butts off because Devens tried to grab the big pink flamingo he likes and accidentally tipped himself into the pool fully dressed. They laughed so hard and he gave up and jumped in the pool and laughed it off.
Big Brother 28: Melody’s Moods
Melody said she’d honestly like Angela more if she actually cried. Melody said she’s a bad actress and said, “The Emmy does not go to…” Melody also keeps telling Drew there’s no way there are votes to send out Devens.
Melody’s a bitter houseguest right now. She’s bored without Mallory in the house and angry too. Melody told Drew his game’s an embarrassment while still low-key being flirty with him keeping him on the hook.
The Crossovers posed for a family photo in the storage room. I want to share some reactions to this little feel-good get-together. One fan said wthey actually look like a family on vacation.

Another said Angela and Devens are the parents. Dee is the golden child spoiled big sister, Barrett the middle child ready to dip and Drew the youngest child seeking validation.
Another fan tweeted – it’s the youngest son, mom, oldest son, dad and his hot new wife. But the best was from Big D, Derek Frazier, from Big Brother 23. He captioned it, ladies and gentlemen, apparently, THIS is the Cookout 2.0. So, welcome to the Cookout y’all.

Big Brother: Winning by WeinerGate?
So, in case you hadn’t picked up on it, all eyes inside and outside the house are on Barrett. Will he, won’t he? He told Yash he feels like if Devens leaves, then Drew will migrate back to their side of the house.
We’ll count votes tomorrow and see if anything’s shifted. But now, Melody has one more reason to be mad at Drew. He revealed in a house chat that he told Haley before she left who took a bite from Devens’ hot dog.
Drew said Haley asked him a day or two before she left and he told her then Drew laughed and said, “it dies with her”. Devens said, “I can’t believe she was that invested”.
Drew said when he was on the block, Haley asked him. Melody was upset, cursed at Drew and said, “you’re done dude, you’re done”. Maybe Drew reveals in his goodbye message to Devens that Barrett bit the hot dog.

Cecily Strong Reflects On Her ‘SNL’ Legacy And Life As A New Mom
Just like many people, Cecily Strong aspires to be a morning person but isn’t there just yet. She loves a good Thomas’ English muffin in the morning to help get her day going, which is why she felt a partnership with Thomas’ was the perfect fit for her.
The mom of one and former “SNL” star recently sat down with The Blast exclusively to talk about her partnership, how being a mom has shifted her mornings, her “SNL” legacy, and what’s next for her.

When two icons join forces, they can turn anyone into a morning person!
“SNL” alum Cecily Strong and Thomas’ have teamed up to prove that late-night legends and busy parents can win their early mornings, one 21-day challenge at a time.
According to a press release sent to The Blast by Thomas’, research has shown that 95% of Americans don’t fancy getting up in the morning. But Thomas’ believes that anyone can embrace the morning with the right breakfast. This is why the breakfast brand teamed up with comedian and actress Strong for its new “Join the Morning People” campaign.
In the campaign, Strong stars alongside Thomas’ beloved “breakfast provocateur,” Thom, in a series of hilarious spots that bring some early morning humor to center stage.
“If you told my former late-night self that I’d be leading a crusade to get people out of bed early, I never would have believed you,” Strong said according to the press release. “The truth is, mornings are chaotic. But partnering with Thomas’ proved that you don’t have to suddenly become a flawless sunrise person – you just need a good breakfast, a sense of humor, and something warm in the toaster to make it tolerable.”
And while she’s claims to be “someone who is not great in the morning,” she “aspires to be a morning person” so this partnership was right up her alley.
“When they sent the offer, I was like, you guys won’t believe this. And I went to my fridge and took a picture of the inside of my fridge. It was like, look what’s in here,” she told The Blast exclusively. “This is truly my breakfast. It’s like kind of an iconic, beloved brand, so it’s exciting to partner with them.”
More About The ‘Join The Morning People’ Campaign
To help encourage others to incorporate a warm, delicious breakfast into their morning routine, Thomas’ is launching the 21-Day Morning People Challenge, inspired by research that shows it takes approximately 21 days to form a lasting habit.
When asked which one of the morning people in the campaign Strong feels is closest to her real life, she said it’s obvious at this time in her life.
“I would say now, obviously the busy parent. I don’t have triplets, luckily, but you know, sleep is really a luxury,” she shared. “I would have liked to think of myself as the traveler, the jet setter, but in my new life, I’m definitely more of the person covered in baby vomit.”
Fans can sign up for the challenge at JoinTheMorningPeople.com. Thomas’ has also partnered with Instacart to reward select participants with prizes including Instacart cards and exclusive Thomas’ merchandise now through September 17, 2026. You can also follow along on Strong’s 21-day journey toward becoming a morning person on Instagram.
For Official Rules, visit rtmpromo.com/morningpeople.
Speaking Of Being A Mom

Speaking of motherhood, Strong said it’s taught her quite a bit about being flexible in your routines, especially in the mornings.
“It’s very, Jesus take the wheel,” she told The Blast. “She’s in charge. It’s like, okay, you don’t want that right now? It’s like there’s just a surrender. I have surrendered so much to her, but luckily, I have a fabulous, amazing little gal and she’s a great eater.”
She said that while “terrible twos” might be lurking around the bend, right now, she’s seeing a “rosy version of this” since her daughter eats and sleeps well. “She’s giving us an easy year one,” she added.
Cecily Strong And Her Time On ‘SNL’

Fun fact: Strong is the longest-tenured female cast member on “SNL.” When asked what that means to her personally, she simply said she is “honored.”
“It’s incredible just to be a part of that group of people and that means so much,” she said. “Tom Davis’ memorial service was my first year, and all these people came back and were speaking about the time when they were on the show and their friendships. And I was like, even getting to be in the back of that room, honoring that person and hearing all these stories is like, I can’t believe now this is a part of my life. I’m so honored. It really is very special.”
Reminiscing about her time on the hit sketch comedy show, she said there are so many characters and skits that still make her laugh.
“There’s so many, honestly. I’ve been talking about the reality stars sketch today with Will Farrell. That one really made me laugh,” she said. She also explained that a lot of characters and skits that really stick in her head now and make her laugh never even aired. One that never aired – a skit where she was portraying a “Coyote Ugly” dancer in a full body cast trying to dance on the bar. Just sharing that information put a smile on her face.
As any “SNL” fan knows, there are times the cast break character because it’s just that funny. Strong shared that it was more likely to happen the longer you were on set.
“I think the longer you stay there, the more comfortable you get,” she said. “It’s almost like you can’t even laugh when you’re scared or maybe laugh harder in those situations.”
What’s Next For Cecily Strong?

In addition to “SNL,” Strong has been on Broadway, on television and in films, and has no plans to slow down anytime soon. While her career has taken her to many different avenues, she said her approach to acting hasn’t changed at all.
“I’ve kind of always approached everything the same way. I’ve always been a person that finds life hilarious and devastating and beautiful and terrible and getting to do it all,” she said. “A lot of times, playing funny characters, I’m playing them dramatically and it’s just funny.”
As far as future projects, she’s excited about an Apple show with Julia Louie Dreyfus and Mary Bronstein called “The Nanny Squatter.”
“I think it’ll be a lot of fun when we get to do that,” she said. “Mary’s writing it all and she’s directing. I’ve very excited about that one.”
She also added there are some other things in the works but she doesn’t want to “jinx anything” that’s currently in the early stages.

Colin O’Donoghue Teases Collaboration With a ‘Once Upon a Time’ Star and a Country Icon for a New Album [Exclusive]
During its seven-season run, ABC’s Once Upon a Time was known for bringing fairytales to the real world in a story that mixed fantasy, romance, drama, and more around a small town in Maine. What it’s less known for, however, is the sneakily talented singers featured among its cast of storybook characters. The actors got a chance to show off their pipes with a musical episode in Season 6, “The Song in Your Heart,” which saw Jennifer Morrison‘s Emma Swan, Lana Parilla‘s Evil Queen, and everyone in between take part in a series of seven catchy original numbers. Among those who sang along was the show’s Captain Hook, Colin O’Donoghue, who brought real experience as a former member of a small Irish band with an album.
Eight years after leaving Storybrooke behind, he’s now getting back into making music and, better yet, he’s joined by one of his old co-stars who counts “overseas pop star” among her other job titles. O’Donoghue recently came to Fan Expo Canada for a series of panels hosted by Collider’s Maggie Lovitt, where he opened up about reuniting with Karen David for an album that combines their talents in a new way. “I just recorded an album this year with Karen David, who played Jasmine, so it’s going to come out hopefully around November, or whatever,” he shared. “So we have like 13 songs we wrote on it.”
David rose to fame for her singing well before she became one half of one of Once Upon a Time‘s greatest romances. In 2003, “It’s Me (You’re Talking To),” her first single, took to the airwaves and rose as a top 10 airplay hit in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria, becoming BMG’s fourth-highest airplay hit for a debut artist at the time. She followed that initial success just a few years later with her first EPs, The Live Sessions EP and Magic Carpet Ride, followed by the album The Girl in the Pink Glasses in 2010. While she remains better known for her on-screen career, her musical accomplishments are still impressive and made her the perfect partner for O’Donoghue to jump back into the scene himself alongside David’s producer husband, Carl Ryden, who has worked with Calvin Harris, Ricky Martin, Kylie Minogue, Cher, and more. Should all go well, he told Lovitt he hopes they can take their new album on tour. Adding to his confidence is that he confirmed that they received both approval and a contribution from a country music icon — Brad Paisley.
“Hopefully, yeah! Hopefully. So, Karen’s husband, Carl, is a big producer, and he’s Swedish, and he does all these hits. He’s one of those. But I went and stayed with Carl for a few weeks, and I just basically vomited guitar ideas over him. And I got — I’m not supposed to say — Brad Paisley to play some guitar last week on it. He liked them, yeah. So they might be okay if he thought it was okay to play.”
Colin O’Donoghue Relished the Chance to Return to Music With Karen David
The idea for the album was born from David and Ryden, but O’Donoghue was quick to come aboard as soon as he was asked. While he’s been a bit busier of late, between the Civil War drama series The Gray House and his casting for Season 2 of MGM+’s Robin Hood this summer, he had little trouble making time to reunite with his old co-star to record. He recounted the entire experience with real confidence for the music being made, though he’s still looking for suggestions for a potential band name.
“So, they just asked me, they said, ‘You want to do an album?’ We recorded a song a couple of years ago. I called over, and they had a studio at the back of the house, and it was a great experience. So, I had the time earlier this year. I was in LA, so we recorded 12 or 13 songs, I think. And we’re gonna hopefully release them later this year, and I think some of them are very good! We’re trying to figure out a name for the band, if we call ourselves something. So any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. And if you don’t like the music when it comes out, you can just tell me that you did, and that would be good. I’m not really much of a singer, but it’s good, I think.”
Performing with David had O’Donoghue reminiscing on his time playing guitar and providing back-up vocals for The Enemies. “It’s so weird talking about that band,” he told the crowd when asked about his past in music. “So, for people who don’t know, I was in a band; I played in a band for 10-11 years back home in Ireland, and we used to gig like 5 nights a week, 6 nights a week. So, I was a working musician. Doesn’t mean I was any good, but it was amazing.” Making another album brought him back to his loves as an artist, only with something more, as he also got to help write songs, making this a true partnership between himself, David, and Ryden. It also gave him a chance to get a lot of ideas off his chest that had been building up since leaving his band behind in 2013.
“It was just really nice. I love playing the guitar. I love guitars. I love music. I feel like all that stuff comes from the same place, and so to get to do that and then write with Carl and Karen… I felt a bit sorry for Carl because Carl was away filming. And I was staying in their house, and I literally had like 30-something years of guitar ideas that I basically vomited all over him for two weeks. But we ended up with some good stuff, I think.”
O’Donoghue and David’s new album is expected to be released around November. Stay tuned here at Collider for more on the Once Upon a Time stars’ new collaboration.

Sandra Bullock Honors ‘Practical Magic’ Director
Sandra Bullock is making sure the creator of “Practical Magic” is never erased.
It’s nearly three decades after the original film disappointed at the box office and eventually gained cult status. Bullock and Nicole Kidman return for “Practical Magic 2,” playing the sibling witches in the first part of the movie.
Sandra Bullock took time to acknowledge the brain behind the 1998 fantasy comedy, Director Griffin Dunne. “Practical Magic 2” is directed by Susanne Bier. It is based on Alice Hoffman’s novel “The Book of Magic.”

The original “Practical Magic” did not immediately become the beloved film it is today. Bullock recalled that she and Kidman believed audiences would love the movie, only for the excitement to disappear after its release. “And then it got quiet,” Bullock remembered, describing the reaction that followed.
She said the film faced questions about having too many women and too many different tones. Those doubts came despite the chemistry between Bullock and Kidman and the distinctive world created around their characters. The movie eventually found a much more lasting audience after its initial theatrical disappointment.
Bullock specifically credited Dunne for helping make that world possible. She stressed that he created the world alongside the actresses and allowed them to bring their characters fully to life. Kidman also remembered Dunne as someone who loved them. “And he loved us and let us shine,” she said.
Bullock believes that recognition is long overdue because Dunne did not get to enjoy the appreciation that came later. “It’s because of him, this film exists,” she said. She added that he “never got to smell the flowers when we made it,” making his contribution central to her reflection on the franchise, as shared by Variety.
The Owens Sisters Are Finally Back

The return of Sally and Gillian Owens has been one of the biggest attractions surrounding “Practical Magic 2.” Bullock and Kidman are reprising the roles that made their sisterly chemistry such a memorable part of the original film as the sibling witches.
The new story brings the Owens family into another chapter while introducing younger members of the cast. Joey King and Maisie Williams join the returning stars, with the sequel expanding the world around Sally and Gillian. The film is directed by Bier and is based on Alice Hoffman’s “The Book of Magic.”
The Los Angeles premiere also brought Bullock and Kidman back onto the red carpet alongside Bier, King, Williams, Xolo Maridueña and Solly McLeod. Deadline shared that the sequel returns 25 years after the first part explored the Owens family and the origin of their magic.
The Daughters Got New Faces For The Sequel

The sequel also brings a major change involving Sally’s daughters. Evan Rachel Wood and Alexandra Artrip originally played Kylie and Antonia Owens, but Joey King and Maisie Williams now portray the characters. The recasting became notable because Wood had previously expressed interest in returning.
Digital Spy reported that director Bier said the decision was not personal. She explained that the daughters are now right out of college in the story, meaning the production needed to recast the roles.
Wood later revealed that she was “sad” about missing the opportunity. She said she had offered her services, even if it meant appearing for only one scene or one line.
“I think in the book, it would have made sense to bring me back [but] I think in the way that they’re redoing it and approaching it, it didn’t make sense,” Wood said.
The Westworld star had previously hoped to reunite with her onscreen sisters and revisit the house where they filmed as children. Wood said the cast had bonded deeply during the original movie and that seeing everyone again as adults would have carried a history that could not be recreated.
The Oscar Winner Stands Behind The Use Of AI In Hollywood

Bullock gave a surprising approach at her appearance at CinemaCon 2026. The actress has taken a measured approach to artificial intelligence rather than rejecting the technology outright. Her position suggests that she sees learning about AI as more useful than pretending it will disappear.
The Blast revealed that Bullock believes creatives should find constructive ways to work with AI. She said, “We have to lean into it,” while encouraging people to make the technology their friend. Her comments came while she was discussing AI-generated content connected to “Practical Magic 2.”
Bullock nevertheless warned that embracing the technology does not mean ignoring its dangers. She stressed that Hollywood must be “incredibly cautious and aware” because people could use AI for harmful purposes. Warner Bros. executive Pam Abdy shared a similar view during the discussion. Abdy said the industry needs to acknowledge AI, understand it, learn about it and move forward.
Sandra Bullock Chose Motherhood Over Spotlight

Bullock revealed that she had been quietly using social media before publicly embracing it. “I’d been on social media,” she explained, “but, quietly,” mainly to learn and shop. Her children encouraged her to take a closer look and understand how the platforms worked. Bullock admitted she had been “very reticent” about getting involved publicly.
Motherhood has also remained a major factor in the decisions she makes about her career. Bullock explained that she agreed to star in “Practical Magic 2” because the timing allowed her to work without disrupting her children’s schedule. “I made this film at this time because I knew my kids were out of school,” she said.
Bullock made it clear that taking major film roles will not come at the expense of her children. “I’m not going to sacrifice my time with my kids,” she said, adding that she would not be happy if they were struggling while she was away. She also admitted, “I do not do my best work if my children are struggling or if they need something and I can’t facilitate it.”
Sandra Bullock’s return to “Practical Magic” was also a chance to give flowers to the first maker, Griffin Dunne.

‘Expedition 33’ Stars Explain the Biggest Differences Between Their Fan-Favorite RPG Heroes [Exclusive]
After the massive year in gaming that was 2025, few actors are riding as high as Jennifer English and Ben Starr. The pair had already proven themselves as two of the most acclaimed voices in the industry just two years prior, when the former became synonymous with the fan-favorite Shadowheart from the Game of the Year-winning Baldur’s Gate 3 and the latter delivered a devastating tour de force as main character Clive Rosfield in Final Fantasy XVI. However, last year, they got the chance to join forces for a little RPG called Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, the debut title from Sandfall Interactive. It quickly exploded into the breakout success of the year, also earning Game of the Year and thrusting the actors and friends into a heated Best Performance race that English ultimately won.
English and Starr were at the center of Expedition 33‘s story as Maelle and Verso, the former a member of the titular doomed group sent out to defeat the paintress and end the Gommage, and the latter a mysterious, ageless stranger from beyond Lumière whom the survivors meet following a fateful encounter with Renoir (Andy Serkis). After the death of Gustav (Charlie Cox), they become the de facto main characters of the story as the expedition travels across the land to achieve their ultimate goal. Their overall importance, however, becomes even greater than first indicated when the realities of their world are fully revealed, leading up to an ending with a harrowing choice to be made between them. For English and Starr, the characters have now become arguably their most recognizable and critically lauded, which is especially notable because of how different they are from their previous starring roles.
Over the weekend, the two Expedition 33 veterans swung by Fan Expo Canada for a Q&A moderated by Collider’s Maggie Lovitt, where one fan asked them to compare and contrast their respective characters. Specifically, Starr was asked to consider what Clive and Verso would love and hate about each other, while English was given the same question, but for Shadowheart and Maelle. Starr sees his duo at opposite extremes, both in how their games let players into their minds and in terms of their relationships, with one being a loner who slowly becomes a symbol of hope for the oppressed, the other being a manipulator, and both having major family issues. They’re a pair he’d like to see meet because they’re so different, yet also have so much to relate over, from their parents to their all-powerful siblings.
“The thing about Clive and Verso is that Clive doesn’t know how to ask for help. Verso uses people for help. I think they are extremes of that. Their relationships with other people are born from different things. One is completely isolated because he’s been abandoned by his family. The other does that because he’s been abandoned by his family. And it’s amazing how you can see those things. They could learn a lot from each other. You experience the game through Clive. You don’t experience the game through Verso. Verso doesn’t tell you things; Clive tells you everything. And I really love that dichotomy between those two people. I’d just love to sit down in a room and be like ‘Have a chat, boys. Talk about your favorite things. Fire.’”
Jennifer English Says Different Goals Separate Maelle and Shadowheart
As for lessons Clive and Verso could learn from each other, Starr suggests that the dominant of Ifrit could share a thing or two about avoiding being consumed by flames. “I suppose Verso could get taught how not to get set on fire,” he joked. English, meanwhile, believes it’s less the characters themselves, but different goals that separate Maelle and Shadowheart. “I think the key difference between Maelle and Shadowheart is, I suppose, that Maelle’s goal is to find her family,” she added. “To have this chosen family and find her place in the world. And I feel like Shadowheart is the opposite at the beginning of the game. She’s forced to have these companions and actively doesn’t want them.”
From the very start, Maelle embraces her found family under Gustav’s wing. While the Gommage in Expedition 33 only wipes away the people of the age that The Paintress brushes, she chooses to be part of the titular team despite being younger than everyone else departing Lumière. It’s largely about necessity for Shadowheart, though, as a fellow victim of the mindflayers with a tadpole in her head joining the party on a search for a cure that expands into a sprawling fantasy adventure. They do share a few peculiarities, though. “But of course, their similarities… I guess both of their hair turns white, and they have some memory issues,” English laughed. One thing that does unite all four, though, is that they all have problems that Starr believes could be resolved with a bit of group therapy with each other.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Prince William And Kate Middleton Allegedly Resist Harry’s Return
Prince William and Kate Middleton are reportedly refusing to rush into a reconciliation with Prince Harry despite the Duke of Sussex being back on British soil.
A new report claims the Prince and Princess of Wales are deliberately avoiding any instinctive reaction to Harry and Meghan Markle’s return to the U.K. Instead, the couple is said to be privately observing the situation before deciding whether anything changes between the estranged brothers.
The cautious approach reportedly stems from years of unresolved hurt, with one source claiming there remains a “deep sense of betrayal.”

According to People, William and Kate are taking a decidedly measured approach to Harry and Meghan’s return to the U.K. The Sussexes arrived back home with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet on August 26.
A source close to the Prince and Princess of Wales claimed the couple has no intention of reacting to the development immediately. “They are watching this space. It’s private, they don’t feel the need to say anything or demonstrate anything outwardly,” the source shared.
Harry and Meghan have been living primarily in California for six years and are now expected to spend an extended period in Britain. Their children are also set to begin school in the U.K., making this a fairly more substantial visit than the family’s previous ones.
This increased proximity has inevitably raised questions on how this can influence the repair of the fractured relationship between the brothers William and Harry.
A ‘Deep Sense Of Betrayal’ Reportedly Still Stands In The Way

While having Harry back in Britain removes the physical distance that separated the brothers for years, insiders suggest the emotional distance remains ever present. The source told the outlet that any possible reconciliation between both parties “Will be a slow build,” before adding, “There is a deep sense of betrayal.”
The comment comes after years of public tension between the Sussexes and the royal family following Harry and Meghan’s decision to step down as senior working royals back in 2020.
Their relationship with William and Kate reportedly deteriorated further after a series of highly publicized revelations. This includes the Sussexes’ interview with Oprah, their Netflix documentary, and “Spare,” Harry’s memoir.
In the memoir, Harry made several claims involving his older brother, including an allegation of things turning physical between them at some point. It has been years since then, but the latest reports suggest William and Kate have not moved on from the fallout.

The possibility of an immediate reconciliation between the brothers also appears unlikely given more insider reports regarding them from sources who know the brothers.
One insider described their bond as “so broken,” while another source stated, “I thought it would have perhaps eased a little bit by now, to be honest. But there has been no movement, especially on William’s side. There has been no contact.”
This appears consistent with William’s public response since Harry returned. The Blast previously reported on the Prince of Wales’ notable silence about his brother’s return to Britain.
The brothers were last reportedly in the same room back in August 2024. This was during the funeral of their uncle, Lord Robert Fellowes, which they both attended. Reports from the service claimed they sat apart and were not seen interacting.
On his part, however, Harry has made it clear that he would like to repair his relationship with his family. During a BBC interview in May 2025, he publicly called for reconciliation. According to him, there was “no point in continuing to fight anymore.”
Harry’s UK Return Could Make Their Estrangement Harder To Ignore

For years, William and Harry could largely continue their separate lives due to their living on different continents. Now, the Sussexes’ return has largely eliminated that geographical separation.
While there has been no public sign of a reunion between the brothers, Harry has made some progress in another important royal relationship. During a visit to the U.K in July, Harry, Meghan, Archie and Lilibet spent time with King Charles III and Queen Camilla at Highgrove House.
The reunion reportedly marked the first time in over four years that Charles had seen the Duchess and both children in person.
King Charles Reportedly Hopes His Sons Will Eventually Reconcile

Although William may remain hesitant, their father reportedly hopes his sons will bury the hatchet and repair their relationship.
A source speaking with the outlet said that King Charles “will want to see his sons together over time. This is the best opportunity we have seen in recent years.” However, whether the brothers will take advantage of the opportunity remains unclear.
For now, the Prince and Princess of Wales appear content to watch how the Sussexes’ new chapter in Britain will unfold.

Scrubs’ Sarah Chalke, Donald Faison Fight Over Zach Braff’s Heart
The Scrubs revival has many new additions, but some things — like Turk and Elliot fighting over J.D. — have stayed the same.
In Us’ exclusive first look at a new promotional video for season 2, Turk (Donald Faison) and Elliot (Sarah Chalke) play Operation with J.D. (Zach Braff) as their patient. After removing J.D.’s funny bone, the duo notice something else that needs their medical eye.
“A me-shaped heart!” Turk says before Elliot volunteers to operate.
Turk, however, is unsure about Elliot’s intentions, adding, “Don’t you kill the bromance! [The heart] stays in!”
J.D. tries to interject before things take a turn.
“Don’t fight over my heart,” he says shortly before Turk and Elliot’s squabble affects his health in the board game.
The hilarious visual comes nearly one month before Scrubs is set to return for season 2 on September 30.
The medical sitcom originally aired from 2001 to 2010, following the lives of employees at a fictional teaching hospital called Sacred Heart. The hit series starred Braff, Chalke, Faison, Judy Reyes, Neil Flynn, Ken Jenkins and John C. McGinley before it was brought back for a ninth season titled Med School.
Only Braff, Faison and McGinley remained regular cast members, while others made guest appearances. Kerry Bishé, Eliza Coupe, Dave Franco and Michael Mosley were brought in, with Bishé taking over as the show’s new narrator after Braff, but the concept only lasted one season.

ABC revived the OG series in July 2025, once again introducing a new generation of medical experts. It was quickly renewed for season 2, but multiple outlets later confirmed that Joel Kim Booster, who played Dr. Kevin Park in season 1, would not return. X Mayo, who recurred as Charge Nurse Raymond, is also not expected to be back in season 2.
There are 16 cast members who are confirmed to be back — including returning stars Braff, Chalke and Faison. Out of the new group of interns introduced in season 1, Ava Bunn has been promoted to series regular.
The rest of the actors playing interns — Jacob Dudman, David Gridley, Layla Mohammadi and Amanda Morrow — are set to recur in season 2. Scrubs is also expanding with new characters, such as Rachel Bilson‘s Charlie.
“This isn’t a show about the kids, but the audience is curious about their family life and home life, and so we do want to show a little bit of that as well,” showrunner Aseem Batra told Deadline in April.
Other members of the cast, such as McGinley and Reyes, are still recurring while filming other projects outside of Scrubs.
“Both shows have been amazing and [are] working with us to get those performers over to Vancouver [where Scrubs films],” Batra added. “So we’ll do our very best to keep them in the fold, because they are part of this in a big way, but we’re happy for their success in other areas, and we’d just love them back as much as we can get them.”
According to the official synopsis, season 2 of the revival will show J.D., Turk and Elliot as they “have leveled up from interns to icons at Sacred Heart.”
“Now, the respected doctors inspire the next generation while balancing the ups and downs of working in a hospital,” the description continues. “Together with characters new and old, they are navigating this next chapter with laughter, heart and some surprises along the way.”
Scrubs returns to ABC Wednesday, September 30, at 8 p.m. ET and streams on Hulu the next day.
