Fantasia Slams Dad After He Accuses Her Husband Of Stealing
Whew, roommates! Just when the internet started easing off of GloRilla and BroRilla (Victoria Woods), here comes another dose of celeb family drama! This time, the spotlight is on Fantasia and her father, Joseph Barrino. On Wednesday (Feb. 18), The Shade Room reposted a now-deleted post from the singer’s Instagram. In the post, she went off on her dad over accusing her “king,” her husband, Kendall Taylor, of stealing from her.

The Moment That Set Off Fantasia Father
On Valentine’s Day, Kendall Taylor surprised his wife, Fantasia, with the marriage proposal she never got. The couple married 11 years ago, but after pulling up to the singer’s show, Taylor said on stage that his wife didn’t get proposed to in a way she deserved. So, with tears in his eyes, Kendall dropped to one knee and upgraded her diamond ring.“For 11 years you woke up every day and chose me,” he said in between sobs. 11 carats for 11 years is what he told Fantasia as she bawled, too.
Joseph Barrino Shares Harsh Words For Son-In-Law
While fans went nuts over the romantic gesture, Joseph Barrino had the opposite reaction. On Facebook, Barrino reposted footage from Kendall’s on-stage proposal. He wrote, “FAKE CRY BULLCRAP…HE’S GIVING BACK SOME OF THE MISSING MONEY THE FIRED FINANCIAL COMMITTEE SAYS HE’S PROBABLY STOLE…THAT THEY COULDN’T ACCOUNT FOR…Y’ALL PRAY FOR FANTASIA! I HATE THIS FOR HER!”
In a follow-up Facebook Live, the father again asked viewers to pray for Fantasia. He said he put work into his kids from a young age to keep them from being manipulated. Barrino questioned Kendall Taylor crying on stage in his proposal, claiming a “financial person” allegedly told him a week ago that Kendall couldn’t provide receipts for his expenses. That person was allegedly then fired.
“I ain’t done nothing to my daughter, I’m blessing my daughter. If my daughter don’t talk to me because I’m trying to help her…you say you love God but you put a man before him. How can a man come out of prison and then say, listen to the video, she chose me. Bible readers, is that what the word say? He suppose to chose her.”
Singer Threatens To Expose “Donor” Dad
After Fantasia peeped her father’s allegations, the singer went OFF in a seemingly now-deleted post. She shared screenshots of a 2024 arrest record for Joseph Barrino, which shows him charged for “misdemeanor crime of domestic violence.” Meanwhile, in her caption, Tasia said she’s speaking out because “this has gotten out of hand.” She then went IN, saying she can’t even call him dad or father because he’s nothing more than a “donor.” She added:
“We have covered you for long enough. My mom and me have made you LOOK like you were and okay man but NOW YOU HAVE COME FOR MY KING!!”
Additionally, Fantasia warned that she planned to go live on Wednesday night with “all who know” her dad. “How can someone steal if I Fantasia Taylor is the CEO and my King Kendall Taylor is the president of ALL OUR COMPANIES. Tonight I shall help finish the war you STARTED,” the singer wrote.
So far on Wednesday, Joseph has only promoted his upcoming radio interview scheduled for Thursday. No direct response to his daughter.

Seen For First Time Since Spinal Stroke

Quinton Aaron is well on the road to recovery and looking great … according to this first photo of the actor since he was hospitalized for a spinal stroke last month.
Check out the pic, provided by Quinton to us … we’re told it was taken last week, and as you can see, the ‘Blind Side’ star is in great spirits — throwing up a peace sign while hanging with his younger brother, Jarred.
We’re told Jarred has not left Quinton’s bedside, and the bond between the two remains strong.
The release of this photo follows news of Jarred’s restraining order against Margarita Aaron — the woman who allegedly misrepresented herself as Quinton’s wife to both Quinton and the medical staff tending to him.
Jarred’s restraining order was granted and protects himself as well as his immediate family, which would presumably include Quinton. Quinton tells us, “I fully support my brother and thank him for protecting me and my family.”
Margarita told us she and Quinton “got spiritually married” … but the family told us Quinton said they did no such thing.
She says she hasn’t done anything wrong and that Jarred is being selfish and retaliating against her because of past issues.
On a brighter note … Quinton has been recovering nicely. He’s now practicing writing, solving puzzles, and even has feeling in his legs again! A family friend also created a GoFundMe to help with immediate needs.
Elsewhere in the interview, Catania offered support to the other “Real Housewives” stars who have appeared on one of the four seasons of “The Traitors,” noting how mentally challenging it is to play a social and strategic game in which everyone has eyes on you to begin with.

Dolores Catania Sounds Off On Rob Rasuch Coming For Two Real Housewives In Season 4 Of ‘The Traitors’
The current season of “The Traitors” is beginning to wind down, and Rausch is the last original Traitor remaining. At the beginning of the season, the Alabama native was joined in the Traitor’s turret by Rinna and Bassett.
Their dynamic deteriorated in episode 7 when Rausch spearheaded the effort to eliminate Rinna, and then turned on Bassett just one episode later.
Speaking with Page Six about his moves, Catania didn’t seem pleased about Rausch’s gameplay, stating, “I wish he would’ve left the ‘Housewives’ alone.” She continued, “Come on, don’t get rid of the ‘Housewives.’”

Catania Talks About What It Feels Like Being A ‘Real Housewives’ Star On ‘The Traitors’
Catania appeared in season 3 of “The Traitors” and won. On her season, the reality TV veteran appeared with fellow Bravo stars Dorinda Medley, Chanel Ayan, and Robyn Dixon.
Once her fellow Housewives exited the castle, the experience grew increasingly challenging for her. “I was the last ‘Housewife’ [on Season 3 of ‘The Traitors’]. I knew what it felt like to be on an island. I knew what it felt like to not have that camaraderie. I was the last ‘Housewife’ for a lot longer than Dorinda,” she said.

Could Rausch Win This Season Of ‘The Traitors’?
Before Rinna and Bassett’s banishment in previous episodes, the pair bumped heads with Rausch during the show’s explosive round-table ceremony. While the outcome of the show remains under wraps, Catania suggested that a vigilant group of Faithfuls ought to be able to sniff out the remaining Traitors.
“So here’s the thing — traitor on traitor is always the biggest giveaway,” she said. “Evil can never stay with evil. You’ll find it in your life, you’ll find it across the board. And that was the biggest advice my mom gave me before I left for ‘Traitors.’”
Catania’s wisdom came from her mom, Valerie, whom she said has never seen an episode of “The Traitors.”

“So I explained it to my mom. I’m like, ‘Mom, how do I know who the killers are, who the traitors are?’ She goes, ‘It’s easy. If there’s more than one, they’ll wind up fighting because they can never stay together,’” Catania shared.

Bassett Calls Rausch Out For Lying To His Teammates
Per a report from The Blast, Bassett expressed frustration over her exit, slamming Rausch for betraying his fellow Traitors.
“Rob had lied to his Traitors at breakfast. He told us he didn’t mean to vote for Lisa, he was sorry he voted for Lisa, he didn’t think she was gonna go home. And then he goes to the roundtable that same night and not only votes for her but leads the charge,” Bassett said.
“You just lied to our faces. The game is called The Traitors, and he wasn’t being a Traitor. He was being a snake. He did what he felt was best for his game, and I hope it works out for him,” she shared.
Rinna Could Also Be In The Hot Seat
Rausch won’t be the only “Traitors” star in the hot seat, according to The Blast.
Porsha Williams from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” shared that she was frustrated with Rinna’s decision to vote her from the castle on the first night.
While reflecting on her brief stint on the show, Williams detailed her confusion over Rinna’s gameplay, noting that “it didn’t have to happen at all.”
Williams said she also began to see what people warned her about Rinna. “When Lisa voted me out, I was like, ‘OK, so you’re who everybody says you are,’” she said. “… she still didn’t have to vote me out because I was no threat to her. It was all for her benefit of self.”

Lil Poppa Reportedly Passes Away At The Age Of 25
According to TMZ, the outlet confirmed the passing of Lil Poppa with the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office on Wednesday, February 18. The 25-year-old, whose real name was Janarious Mykel Wheeler, was reportedly pronounced deceased at 11:23 a.m.
Per the outlet, the cause of the rapper’s passing has not been publicly released.
Per the outlet, Lil Poppa was signed to Yo Gotti’s Collective Music Group (CMG) and recently released an album in August 2025. Last week, he released a music video for his latest single, “Out Of Town Bae.’

The Passing Of Lil Poppa Arrives On The Heels Of The Passing Of Rev. Jesse Jackson
The passing of Florida rapper Lil Poppa arrives on the heels of the passing of Reverend Jesse Jackson. As The Shade Room previously reported, on Tuesday, February 17, Jackson’s family revealed that he passed surrounded by his family in Chicago. Per USA Today, Jackson had been diagnosed with “progressive supranuclear palsy.” It is reportedly a “rare neurological disorder that impacts walking, balance, eye movement, and swallowing.”
At this time, however, his cause of death remains to be publicly shared.

At this point, it’s starting to feel like it’s Rebecca Ferguson‘s world, and we’re all just fortunate to be living in it. Doctor Sleep arrived with enormous expectations. A sequel to The Shining, one of the most iconic Stephen King adaptations ever made, the film had the daunting task of honoring both Stanley Kubrick’s horror classic and King’s later follow-up novel. While it may not have replicated the cultural phenomenon of its predecessor, it accomplished something arguably more impressive by becoming a worthy and deeply satisfying continuation of a horror masterpiece. The film has recently enjoyed a streaming resurgence and is now available on the free streaming service Tubi, where it ranks as the platform’s fifth most-watched movie at the time of this writing.
What’s Rebecca Ferguson Doing Next?
One of Hollywood’s most in-demand talents, Rebecca Ferguson has a packed slate spanning prestige drama, fantasy, and epic sci-fi. First up is The Immortal Man, the highly anticipated continuation of the Peaky Blinders saga. Ferguson joins the cast as Kaulo, a mysterious new figure connected to Tommy Shelby. The film is set to debut on Netflix on March 20, 2026, with select UK theatrical screenings beginning March 6. She’ll also reprise her role as the enigmatic Lady Jessica in Dune: Part Three, arriving in theaters on December 18, 2026. Before that, Ferguson steps into fantasy territory with The Magic Faraway Tree, landing March 26. Each generation will seemingly have both a favorite horror character and a scream queen that will keep us entertained as long as the franchise survives, such as Freddy Krueger with Nancy Thompson (Nightmare on Elm Street); Michael Myers with Laurie Strode (Halloween); and Ghostface with Sidney Prescott (Scream) to list a few examples. With the Terrifier franchise it is no different as we see Art the Clown and Sienna being the two counterparts to a bloody terrific saga. I really hope we get to see more movies in the Terrifier franchise.

Review
This movie picks up straight where it left us at the ending of Terrifier 2. We are quickly reacquainted with Lauren LaVera as Sienna, the main protagonist of the movie. She plays her part exceptionally well and we see more screen time from her than her brother who also played a big part in the prequel.
As usual, Terrifier 3 doesn’t disappoint with the gory scenes and leaves you at the edge of your seat with all the creative kill and torture scenes that Art the Clown has lined up. When compared to the previous movies, Art explores new ways to terrify both victims and the audience. From children to the elderly, no-one is safe from the clown and his bag of tricks. David Howard Thorton plays the part of Art and really delivers an awesome performance. We see a short-lived guest appearance from Chris Jericho from World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) as well as Samantha Scaffidi who returns as Vicky Heyes, the survivor from the first movie. This time she has more screen time as well.

While there are many more victims this time around, the golden thread remains in terms of the storyline that was established from the first movie onwards. While Sienna wasn’t around from the beginning, her role has become quite important in the Terrifier storyline.
The movie unfortunately doesn’t leave us with a post-credits scene, but the ending sure is promising, making me confident that we haven’t seen the last of Art the Clown.
I rate Terrifier 3 a 5 out of 5. Damien Leone delivered a work of “Art” that needs to be experienced on the big screen. I’m looking forward to seeing more of both Art and Sienna in action in the Terrifier franchise. Be prepared to be terrified. I highly advise that this movie is not for sensitive viewers. A few people have walked out of the cinema due to the intense and gory scenes in this movie. With the movie’s storyline playing out during Christmas, Art the Clown is definitely the gift during the halloween season.

Bun B and his wife Queenie are celebrating a major milestone in her life! Recently on social media, the rapper showed the moment she rang the bell to indicate she had beaten breast cancer. His heartfelt post about her strength had fans swooning and sending prayers for Queenie’s continued recovery.

Bun B Pens Beautiful Message For His Wife
In the video Bun B shared on Feb. 17, Queenie rocked a pink tracksuit and blonde hair while standing near a bell inside a hospital. Medical staff and what appeared to be her loved ones stood nearby. Bun asked the room to quiet down as hospital staff presented Queenie with an encouragement token and a certificate for completion of chemotherapy treatment. After reading an inscription above the bell, Queenie rang it three times and then wiped tears away. In his video caption, Bun B called her his hero and more.
“She’s been my best friend, wife, partner, lover, business partner and more. But today, she’s my hero,” he wrote.
Additionally, the rapper wrote that Queenie’s cancer journey began last June, when she was diagnosed during her yearly check-up. The couple followed the advice of their primary care provider, and she began chemotherapy treatment in July. It ended in December, he wrote.
“She fought like a champ for our family and for herself. No self doubt or pity. She stood tall on faith and fought through pain, poison, exhaustion, neuropathy and more daily and attended all family events even when she was in serious pain & discomfort but she still didn’t complain. She had her surgery the first week of January and today we are proud to say she’s cancer free,” Bun B added.
Also in his caption, Bun thanked specific doctors for their hard work and bedside manners that kept Queenie “calm and comforted.” Moreover, he thanked their immediate family and closest friends for their “unwavering support and constant prayers in this season.” Lastly, the husband encouraged everyone to get their yearly check-ups.
“I implore everyone to please get your health checked yearly and consistently because in cases of cancer and other illnesses early detection can be the difference between life and death. Now let’s give it up one time for a cancer free Queenie!”

It’s kind of a weird time to be a Star Wars fan: the Sequel Trilogy was a bust, over half the shows are disappointing, and Disney has more canceled projects than Jawas have droid parts. This is doubly frustrating because the formula for these movies doesn’t seem all that hard to crack. Surely, after nearly half a century, somebody in charge can figure out what worked and what didn’t work for earlier movies, right?
While we’re still waiting for Disney to do something interesting with this galaxy far, far away, but it took a completely different company to create the perfect tribute to Star Wars. Redline (2009) is basically one big pod race, one filled with the coolest action and the freakiest aliens this side of Tatooine. Fortunately, you don’t need the Force to discover this overlooked anime masterpiece: all you have to do is grab your remote and head to Tubi, where you can stream this full-throttle film for free!
Shut Up And Drive
The premise of Redline is that a professional racer participates in a scheme to fix a race, all to get himself and a buddy out of trouble with the mafia. He comes in second place, but after some other drivers drop out, he qualifies for Redline, an upcoming race that will take place on a planet ruled by fascist robots. There, he will face a choice that could define the rest of his life: to keep fixing races or go for the prize, which would establish him as the greatest racer in the entire galaxy.
Unfortunately, Redline was a box office flop when it was first released, earning only about $8.5 million against a budget estimated to be as high as $30 million. Later, the movie achieved a major cult following on home video and streaming, and it made a particular impact on anime superfans who were looking for something new. Thanks to its minimal plot, thumping soundtrack, and high-octane animation, Redline quickly established itself as the perfect movie for anyone looking to just kick back and enjoy an unforgettable cinematic ride.
A Film Of Dazzling Beauty
When Redline raced into theaters, it impressed reviewers with its style and delightfully unhinged energy. On Rotten Tomatoes, it had a rating of 70 percent, with critics praising the movie for its relentless pace and hypnotically beautiful animation. Notably, the film had an audience rating of 90 percent, indicating that it impressed the collective anime fandom even more than it impressed the professional critics.
I recently showed Redline to my wife, and we agreed that the movie embraced a very unique storytelling philosophy: all world, no building. The film presents a very rich fictional universe populated with exotic aliens, mindblowing technology, and even a little bit of space magic. But you get almost no exposition or explanation regarding any of these elements, forcing you to figure everything out on the fly.
All World, No Building
This storytelling method may be annoying to certain viewers, especially those who were clamoring for a meatier plot. However, I would argue that this effectively makes Redline more immersive because, like the charismatic racer protagonist, everyone watching is just along for the ride. You can try to get a handle on this chaotic cosmos of characters, or you can do what I did: just tune out all the noise and focus on the buttery-smooth animation that brings this celebration of speed to life.
While Redline is great for anime fans and anyone who loves a good car chase, the film is certain to resonate even more with fans who loved the podracing sequence in The Phantom Menace. That first prequel was deeply flawed, but most Star Wars fans agree that the podrace was great because it simplified this galaxy far, far away down to its most basic elements: exotic characters doing something both cool and dangerous. That narrative spirit is alive and well with Redline, a movie whose chief appeal is seeing colorful aliens pushing their high-tech hotrods to the limit in order to emerge as the greatest racer in the galaxy.
Buddies, Brews, Bots, And Battles
In the end, reviewing Redline is almost an exercise in futility: this is more of an experience than a movie, one in which a kaleidoscope of colors and a hypnotic soundtrack combine with some of the craziest visuals ever put onscreen. It’s truly one of a kind and unlike any film before or since. As such, it’s a film you owe yourself to check out, especially if you’ve been hungry for a movie capable of completely blowing your mind.
