How Jennifer Aniston’s Inner Circle Feels About Her Boyfriend
Jennifer Aniston‘s new relationship is already causing tongues to wag, and the latest whispers are coming from her own circle.
Her romance with Jim Curtis has attracted plenty of attention, but reports that some friends aren’t fully sold on him add a surprising twist. More than a year into the romance, Curtis has become an increasingly visible part of her life, making the latest concerns about their relationship even more intriguing.
Jennifer Aniston and Jim Curtis first sparked romance rumors in July 2025 after being photographed together in Mallorca, Spain, before Aniston made their relationship Instagram-official in November of that year.
Jennifer Aniston’s romance with Jim Curtis may be going well for the couple, but some of the people closest to her are reportedly still taking a wait-and-see approach.
“Some of Jen’s friends aren’t totally sold on Jim yet,” according to a source, adding that “they worry he could be an opportunist” and sometimes comes across as “a bit performative.” Still, the hesitation does not appear to come from a lack of love for Aniston.
As another insider put it, “Everybody adores Jen and just wants the best for her because she absolutely deserves the world,” making the reported concerns sound less like an attack on Curtis and more like friends simply wanting to protect someone they care about.
The Verdict On This Romance Is Far From Unanimous

Interestingly, not everyone in Jennifer Aniston’s world shares the doubts. Other people in her inner circle reportedly have a completely different opinion of Curtis and have embraced the relationship.
Sources told Page Six that some friends “absolutely adore Jim” and feel he fits seamlessly into their circle. They also reportedly believe the couple complements each other on several levels, making the split opinions around the romance even more striking.
Those supporters reportedly see something especially positive in the relationship, saying they “haven’t seen Jen this happy in a long time.” With some friends raising concerns while others could not be happier for the pair, the romance is clearly inspiring very different reactions behind the scenes.
More From The Blast
Jim Curtis Says He Feels ‘Blessed’ To Be With Jennifer Aniston
While some of Jennifer Aniston’s friends are reportedly still watching Jim Curtis with a little skepticism, Curtis has been offering a much warmer account of where he stands with the actress.
Rather than talking only about their romance, he recently opened up about the people around Aniston and the welcome he says he’s received from them.
As reported by The Blast, Curtis described Aniston’s longtime friends as a “group of best friends that are like family,” saying he feels “incredibly blessed” to have become part of that tight-knit circle.
He also praised the community around her as “such a beautiful community and group of people,” suggesting that being accepted into her world has become an important part of their relationship.
Curtis was just as complimentary when he spoke about Aniston herself, saying their relationship was “going really well” and describing her as “open and caring and kind and loving.”
He ultimately said he feels “blessed to be in a relationship with someone that is so open-hearted and kind and loving,” giving his version of the romance a notably sincere tone as questions about his intentions continue to swirl around the couple.
Behind The Confidence Is A ‘Deep, Deep Fear’

Behind the polished public image, Jennifer Aniston recently admitted that she is still working through a fear that has followed her for years. The revelation came during an appearance alongside Jim Curtis, turning what was supposed to be a conversation about his new book into a surprisingly personal moment for the actress.
During a fan Q&A, Aniston was asked about a possibility she was choosing in her own life. She revealed that she was “choosing to overcome a very deep, deep fear of public speaking,” despite having just spent the evening onstage interviewing Curtis in front of a packed audience.
The Blast reported that Aniston also opened up about how she handles pressure, saying she relies on meditation and “five deep, deep breaths” to stay grounded.
The candid admission offered a rare glimpse behind the confidence fans usually see, especially as the actress continues navigating a relationship that is drawing increasing attention.
Jennifer Aniston’s Past Relationships Make This Romance Even More Intriguing

Jennifer Aniston’s relationship with Jim Curtis is unfolding against a long history of high-profile romances, making the actress’s current approach to love especially interesting. After years of attention surrounding her personal life, this chapter appears to be taking a very different shape.
Her marriage to Justin Theroux lasted only three years before they filed for divorce, although the former couple has remained friends. The Blast also noted that Aniston’s relationship history includes her highly publicized marriage to Brad Pitt, as well as several earlier romances that kept her love life firmly in the spotlight.
Now, with Curtis repeatedly describing how secure and happy their relationship feels, the contrast with Aniston’s past makes the romance even more compelling.

In celebration of National Matchmaker Day, the matchmaking service hosted The Perfect Match Weekend, a three-day experience centered on intentional connection, modern matchmaking, and the people who help bring couples together.
The curated weekend featured Selling Sunset stars Mary Bonnet and Sandra Vergara, along with Love Is Blind alum Chelsea Blackwell. The group gathered in Las Vegas for an experience designed to celebrate meaningful relationships in a world increasingly driven by digital connections.
The Perfect Match Takes Flight
The experience began and ended aboard Theos, a Challenger 850 operated by Cirrus Aviation Services. The private jet transported guests between Van Nuys and Las Vegas, adding an exclusive touch to the weekend.
“National Matchmaker Day is about celebrating the people who still believe meaningful connection deserves intention,” said Chris Kumar, CEO of Tawkify. “The Perfect Match Weekend was our opportunity to celebrate not only matchmaking, but what happens when the right people, places and experiences come together.”
Theos’ Weekly Route Takes Center Stage

Transportation was more than a way to get guests to the event. Theos was part of the experience itself, highlighting Cirrus Aviation Services’ new weekly, members-only route between Van Nuys and Las Vegas.
“Great experiences begin long before guests arrive at their destination,” said Eric Grilly, president of Cirrus Aviation Services. “We were proud to partner with Tawkify to welcome its guests aboard Theos for round-trip travel between Van Nuys and Las Vegas via our new weekly route.”
The new route gives Cirrus Aviation Services members a convenient private travel option between Los Angeles and Las Vegas, while The Perfect Match Weekend provided a fitting showcase for the service.
With the trip beginning and ending aboard Theos, the weekend brought Tawkify’s central message full circle: when the match is right, everything just works.

Craft Cafe Pop-Ups Have Become Gen Z Social Spaces
If you have hit the stretch of adulthood where making a new friend feels harder than it used to, you are not alone, and the culture is starting to respond. Craft hobbies like knitting, crochet and embroidery are moving out of the living room and into craft care pop-ups, workshops and café-style gatherings, and the shift is quietly reshaping what a night out can look like for Gen Z and younger millennials. What began as grandmacore, a nostalgic online aesthetic, is becoming an in-person social experience. At the same time, analog hobbies are also gaining a place in the growing conversation around “third places.”
What’s Happening
Analog hobbies are increasingly being organized as shared, in-person experiences rather than solo activities at home. Workshops, pop-up craft nights and project-centered gatherings are giving Gen Z and younger millennials a structured way to make something while socializing offline.
Financial Express has documented the rise of grandmacore experiences built around knitting, crochet, embroidery and ceramics. In turn, the younger consumers finding workshops through social media and showing up in person. Michaels’ 2026 Creativity Trend Report names “project-centered gatherings” as a defining behavior for 2026. The retailer says it is expanding in-store events where customers can experience creative trends, learn new skills and connect with local creative communities.
The through-line is simple. The craft itself is becoming the reason to gather.
See How a Grabbing Latte Inside Coach and Uniqlo Stores Powers Gen Z Experiential Retail Growth
Why It’s Happening
Several forces are stacking on top of each other. First, grandmacore normalized analog hobbies for a generation that grew up online. Knitting and embroidery stopped reading as old-fashioned and started reading as intentional. Financial Express traces this shift specifically to younger consumers discovering slower, hands-on hobbies through digital feeds and then seeking out the physical version.
Second, there is a structural pull away from screens. Michaels’ 2026 report frames project-centered gatherings as a way to move from passive scrolling toward shared making, arguing that shared making can lower social pressure and build deeper connection. If you have ever felt the flat exhaustion of trying to catch up with an old friend across a loud restaurant table, that framing lands.
Third, the format is flexible. Workshops and ticketed events can bring analog hobbies into existing social spaces. Financial Express documents sessions held in cafés and resto-bars. Organizers also use social media and ticketing platforms to reach attendees.
“Project-centered gatherings are replacing passive scrolling, as shared making lowers social pressure and builds deeper connection.” — Michaels’ 2026 Creativity Trend Report
What Could Be Next
Expect this to keep building through 2026, not level off. Several pieces of the trend are unusually well-aligned. Grandmacore is already established, Michaels is leaning into events and pop-ups and workshops offer a flexible format. Here is where it is most likely to go, and what it could mean if you have been quietly looking for an easier way to meet people.
1. Craft cafés will become a recognizable venue category, not just an occasional pop-up. As demand proves out, expect standalone spaces that blend coffee-shop hours with drop-in project stations, plus hybrid bars and restaurants that add a weekly craft night to their calendar. If you are a regular at a local coffee shop or independent bar, watch for the first “craft night” or “stitch night” to appear on their events page, and consider going to the first one.
2. Retailers will compete for the workshop layer, not just the supply layer. Michaels has already signaled it wants to be where customers gather, not only where they buy yarn or paint. Expect craft stores, yarn shops and independent makers to escalate their event programming. Additionally, ticketed classes could expand beyond beginner kits into multi-week series. If you have been meaning to learn to knit, crochet or embroider, this is a good window to lock in a workshop. Series-based classes can also be a low-pressure way to see the same faces week after week, which is often the missing ingredient in adult friendship.
3. Social discovery will keep driving offline turnout, and the funnel is going to tighten. Financial Express describes social media as the discovery point for these workshops. As a result, that pattern could intensify as creators build audiences around in-person analog experiences. Popular events will sell out from a single post. A useful move is to follow two or three local makers or venues now, before the algorithm catches up to what your city is doing. Turn on notifications for the ones that host events. That is the difference between hearing about a workshop and getting a ticket to one.
The bigger takeaway is that grandmacore is no longer just an aesthetic to scroll past. It is becoming a place to go. The craft café is quietly opening up a third option if your social calendar feels stuck between staying in and going out for drinks. The earliest adopters in each city are going to shape what the format looks like for everyone else.
THREE SIGNALS TO WATCH
- New standalone craft café openings announced in mid-size U.S. cities through the rest of 2026.
- Michaels’ rollout pace on the expanded in-store events program outlined in its 2026 Creativity Trend Report.
- Ticketed craft workshops selling out within 24 hours of being posted on Instagram or TikTok, the clearest sign the discovery-to-attendance funnel has tightened.

Why Dolly Parton Kept Her Cancer Battle Private
Dolly Parton’s niece is opening up about why the singer chose to keep her cancer battle “real private” before her death.
“She never wanted to worry anybody,” Jada Star told Extra on Tuesday, September 1, adding, “So I think it was just a shock.”
Star also got candid about how she’s been doing since Parton’s death on August 25. “It’s been really difficult and very surreal,” she shared. “It’s also been really bittersweet because of this beautiful opportunity we’ve had to see how much the whole world loves her. All of these tributes have helped so much.”
She ended her interview by revealing what she would say to Parton if she could. “I think I would just say thank you so much, and I love you so much,” Star said while tearing up. “And I know you’re OK. We’re going to be OK.”
Parton’s rep confirmed her death at age 80 in a statement last month. “Global icon and humanitarian, Dolly Parton, known to the world as a beloved singer, songwriter, philanthropist, actress, playwright and author, died peacefully today in Nashville, Tennessee,” the statement read. “A rhinestone life that shone bright enough for the world to see, Dolly will forever stand as an inspiration not only through her timeless music and prolific songwriting, but also her wit, warmth and kindness that made us all feel like family.”
That same day, a spokesperson for Parton shared that the country icon had a “brief battle with cancer.”
“After bravely facing a brief battle with cancer, Dolly departed her Earthly life today at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center surrounded by loved ones,” the message read. The type of cancer was not disclosed.
More of Parton’s loved ones have since reacted to her death, including Miley Cyrus, who was her goddaughter.
“The feeling of losing my Aunt Dolly is beyond what feels right to share. Our most sacred moments were private and they’ll stay there behind the stage, beneath the glamour & between our hearts,” Cyrus, 33, wrote via Instagram one day after the news broke. “What I KNOW is Dolly would want me to feel it, write a song about it, and then continue on and be strong. I have an angel by my side. I always have. One of our last conversations was about music and metamorphosis. 🦋.”
She added, “I will always love her and want to make her proud. My heart breaks for the world, her family and friends who will miss her deeply. We’re in this loss together and we will see her in all of the most beautiful things. 💖.”

Bold and the Beautiful: Dylan’s Hidden Scheme to Trap Will & Block Electra Forever!?
The Bold and the Beautiful delivers Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock) and Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) getting pretty cozy and starting to look like a real couple, which, of course, is Dylan’s dream come true. And I don’t think she’s going to let Will go.
I suspect that Dylan is going to do everything she can to thwart Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) and make sure she never gets Will back. Today we’re going to talk about Dylan’s scheming to make sure that she keeps Will forever and that Electra never gets another chance with him.
Bold and the Beautiful: Will Moving in the Right Direction
All right. So, this week we saw Dylan spending some time with Will at the beach house before she headed off to work at Bikini Bar. And that’s where her mom, Darcy Dylan (Kelly Sullivan), was meeting her because she just landed in LA. And before she left for work, Dylan had her arms around Will. They were kissing. They look like a real romantic couple. And it definitely seems like Dylan’s doing a good job taking Will’s mind off of Electra.
Of course, after she left, Will thought about Electra when he saw that photo of them together. That needs to go in a drawer or the trash. Also, Dylan had to tell Will about the very uncomfortable conversation she had with Electra at work. Dylan made it very clear she didn’t just up and tell Electra they slept together, but Electra kept poking and prodding and basically figured it out. She assumed that Dylan and Will took their relationship to the next level and slept together, and she just didn’t deny it when talking to Electra.
But Will didn’t seem upset with Dylan and kissed her after the confession. Even Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) commented, “Will’s moving on from Electra pretty fast.” But everybody in Will’s family seems to be happy that he is getting past Electra, except, of course, his mom, Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom).
Dylan & Will in a Great Place on Bold
So, we got Dylan and Will in a good place. And this week, Dylan introduces Will to her mom, Darcy. That’s after Katie and Darcy meet at Bikini Bar. Things are a little wonky because Dylan didn’t get a chance to tell her mom she’s dating Will. And then Katie showed up and spilled everything. I also noticed that when Will’s mom was in the Bikini Bar, she called Dylan Melissa, which she knows Dylan doesn’t like.
And I’m guessing Darcy took note of that. Plus, it’s clear that she knows that Katie’s been talking smack both to Dylan and about Dylan. And initially, we saw how Darcy was fangirling. When she saw Katie walk into Bikini Bar, she recognized her. Had no idea that the fashion celebrity was there to see them.
Darcy seemed excited that Dylan landed well. But I don’t think it’s about gold digging. I think it might just be sheer awe because their family is famous. And by the end of this week, Darcy lays into Katie in front of Will and Dylan. And Darcy specifically calls Katie out for the way she’s been talking to her daughter. I say, good for Darcy.
Dylan Won’t Let Will Go on B&B
So, after this showdown, I think either Katie may chill out, or she may be even more opposed to Dylan being with Will. Anyway, with Dylan and Will doing so well, getting more serious by the day, I’m sure that Dylan is going to make sure she can hang on to Will forever. But Electra remains a constant threat because Will still cares about her. So, let’s talk about what lengths Dylan might go to keep her man and also thwart any shot at Electra and Will having any chance at reconciliation in the future. So, let’s talk about how Dylan can make sure Electra is out of the way once and for all.
Dylan Gives Will a Preview of Life with Her on Bold
First off, Dylan can play Little miss homemaker and start doing a lot of stuff around the beach house. That way she can insert herself fully into Will’s life. Stuff that Dylan was doing honestly before when she was living above his garage to help him out, like cooking and cleaning and doing Will’s laundry and, of course, warming his bed.
And even if Dylan hasn’t moved in officially, I think she’s going to make sure she’s there all the time. That way Dylan can show Will what it would look like if he got serious with Dylan and if Will did ask her to move in and Dylan was long-term there with him and they were building a future together.
And I will say she’s completely different from Electra because Dylan’s more of a nurturer, while Will’s ex is way more selfish and self-involved. And already I think she’s been a good influence. Will’s cleaned up his act and his house since Dylan’s been around. The beer, the takeout containers, all that’s gone. Will seems to be on an even keel.
Bold and Beautiful: Dylan Wears Katie Down
The second thing is, I expect Dylan is going to keep playing nice with Will’s family even while Katie’s being awful. That way Dylan can prove that she really wants to be with Will. No obstacles will stand in her way, and there’s no motive or agenda at play. We know Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Wyatt seem to both really like Dylan because she’s helping Will move on.
Plus, Dylan seems like a good person, and Wyatt seemed impressed that Dylan is holding down two jobs. She’s got one at Forrester Creations and the other at Bikini Bar. Plus, she’s gorgeous and seems to genuinely love Will. So, really, the only person Dylan has to win over is Katie.
And of course, that might be really tough. Definitely so far, but I think Dylan can eventually get there. I think if she persists and just keeps being her sweet self and Will falls for her, it’ll work out. With Wyatt and Bill fans of Dylan along with Will, I think they can all wear Katie down in the long run.

Bold and the Beautiful: Dylan Proves Her Loyalty
Now, the third thing is I expect Dylan may soon tell Will about the youth line to help Logan and prove her loyalty is with the Spencers and not the Forresters. With RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) just saying again to Electra that they need to keep this new line a secret, especially from Will. To me, that’s a red flag it’s going to leak.
And the one person at Forrester Creations who would blab to him is Dylan, especially since Electra keeps insulting and berating Dylan constantly. I don’t see her staying loyal to Forrester Creations; I don’t see her staying at Forrester Creations long-term, period. And while Katie might think it’s sneaky, I think Bill, Wyatt, and the other Spencers will be thrilled on Bold and the Beautiful.
Now, I don’t think Dylan is going to be some kind of twenty-four-seven spy at Forrester Creations for Logan because that’s probably sneaky beyond boundaries that Dylan would be comfortable with, even though Bill would love it. But if she gives them a heads-up about Electra and RJ’s youth line, I think Katie will have to eventually admit that having advanced notice was a game changer.
Electra Moves on with RJ on B&B
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Eric Forrester (John McCook) hope to use the youth line as a sneak attack against Logan. So Dylan spilling the beans could ensure Logan could get their next collection out ahead of time. They could snake Forrester Creations again, as they did with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle)’s line coming out right before Eric’s collection line. Also, we could see Dylan encouraging RJ to get with Electra and make things official for them as a couple. And then once Dylan knows RJ and Electra are dating and kissing and maybe getting physical.
You know, RJ might confirm all this to Dylan, and then she can run back and tell Will, and Dylan can say, “See, Electra’s moved on with RJ, so it’s fine for us to move on together. You know, it’s easy peasy. It’s all equal.” And then Dylan and Will could end up getting really serious and maybe move in together. I think if Electra and RJ start dating officially, it’ll be easier for Will to finally cut ties and let Electra go and be all-in with Dylan.
Dylan Gets Desperate on Bold
And of course, the last and most desperate thing Dylan could do to thwart any possible hope for Electra to reconcile with Will would be a truth scheme. Not just like trying to prove herself, but something really dirty. She could intentionally get pregnant. Now, I’m not sure Dylan would do that because it’s a page out of Luna’s handbook. However, if Dylan is really desperate, never say never on a soap. Plus, it would prove Katie right about Dylan. So, we’ll see how it all plays out. But now that Dylan has Will, I don’t see her ever letting him go.

Who Is Hailey Bills? Meet the New Dancing With the Stars Pro
There’s a new pro in the Dancing With the Stars ballroom — and she’s no stranger to the dance floor.
Hailey Bills joined the pro roster for season 35, pairing up with model Sarah Jane Nader in a rare same-sex pairing.
While Nader is new to the competition, Bills isn’t exactly another DWTS newcomer. Her path to season 35 has been years in the making — and it runs in the family.
Keep scrolling to learn more:
From ‘DWTS Juniors’ to the Main Show
Bills first showed up on the franchise back in 2018, when she was cast as a junior pro on Dancing With the Stars: Juniors, the short-lived spinoff that paired child stars and the kids of celebrities with young dancers to compete for a star-shaped mirrorball trophy.
At age 12, Bills was partnered with Tripp Johnston Palin, the then-9-year-old son of exes Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston. The duo, who were the first couple eliminated, were mentored by longtime pro Jenna Johnson — who happens to be Bills’ aunt. (Bristol competed on DWTS season 11 and season 15, both times dancing with fellow pro Mark Ballas.)
“I think for being a non-dancer, he was able to retain [the steps] really well,“ Johnson told Us at the time of coaching Tripp. “It’s very hard for someone who has never danced before. This is a very daunting place. It’s covered in lights and cameras and costumes, so he did really well.”
Hailey Bills Joined the ‘DWTS’ Troupe Before Pro Promotion
Bills kept dancing in the years after DWTS Juniors, even performing with judge Derek Hough at a Savannah Bananas game in September 2025. That same month, Bills was cast in the DWTS troupe for season 34 alongside Onye Stevenson, Carter Williams and Jaxon Willard.
The DWTS troupe was introduced during 2011’s season 12 and has served as a launchpad for pros including Alan Bersten, Sharna Burgess, Witney Carson, Daniella Karagach, Britt Stewart and Johnson herself.
Hailey Bills’ History-Making 1st Partnership

Bills was named a pro for season 35 in September 2025 and paired with Love Thy Nader star Sarah Jane, whose older sister Brooks Nader appeared on season 33 of the competition. According to Sarah Jane, her sibling wasted no time sharing words of wisdom.
“She really just said to enjoy every moment and, like, soak it up and embrace the challenging [side] of it all,” Sarah Jane told Us. “[She said] don’t be scared to embarrass yourself. And so I’m really just leaning in.”
Fellow season 35 pro Emma Slater also told Us that she’s rooting for Sarah Jane and Bills, which is only the second time that two women have danced together. (Johnson previously partnered with JoJo Siwa in 2021’s season 31.)
“I’m excited to see Hailey and Sarah Jane dance together,” Slater gushed at the time. “That’s going to be really cool, too.”

Netflix’s New Historical Epic Officially Hits Theaters 2 Months Before Streaming Debut
Netflix premiered streaming television as we know it today. The company went from being a physical media rental service to a streaming hub, and finally a studio and hosting platform. Netflix is known for rigid rules around its content, with binge releases as its preferred method for new shows and seasons. And when it comes to movies, the streamer prefers to make them available to all subscribers globally at once. The problem is that it does submit some of its movies to the Academy for consideration, and the Academy also has its rules.
One of them is that a movie must have been released theatrically to be eligible for an Oscar. On some occasions, the streamer relaxes its rules and gives some movies a limited theatrical release. Marriage Story, All Quiet on the Western Front, and The Irishman are Netflix movies that first premiered in theaters before becoming available for streaming. The Academy requires that eligible movies be released in commercial theaters for at least seven consecutive days in their countries of origin.
One of the buzziest films this year at Cannes is the Spanish epic La Bola Negra (The Black Ball), which won the Best Director Award. Directed by Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi, the film was acquired by Netflix, and the streaming service has been pushing it for numerous award categories. To make it eligible for some of the major categories it is being submitted for, Netflix has given La Bola Negra an unprecedented 47-day exclusive U.S. theatrical window, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The last film to get such a long release was Marriage Story in 2019, at 31 days. La Bola Negra officially hits US theaters on October 16 before being available to stream on Netflix globally on December 2.
What Is ‘La Bola Negra’ About?
Spanning nearly a century, the film “tells the story of three men whose lives are intimately connected through desire, pain, and inheritance, across three different eras — 1932, 1937, and 2017.” The queer drama was directed by the Spanish directing duo nicknamed Los Javis because they were romantic partners with the same first name. They co-wrote the screenplay with Alberto Conejero. The 157-minute musical drama stars newcomer Guitarricadelafuente, Miguel Bernardeau (Elite), Glenn Close (Hillbilly Elegy), and Penélope Cruz (The Invite), among others. Critics seem generally impressed with the film, giving it an 88% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
Watch La Bola Negra in theaters beginning October 16 before it hits Netflix on December 2. Stay tuned to Collider for more updates.

BroRilla Reacts Over Claressa Shields’ Angela Bassett Comments
Victoria “BroRilla” Woods shared her opinion after Claressa Shields said that she’d like Angela Bassett to portray her in a biopic. Woods shared a video on Instagram on Wednesday, September 2, and the clip is spicy.

There is already one movie based on Shields’ life, the 2024 film ‘The Fire Inside,’ and she was asked about a future biopic during an interview with The Shade Room.
The boxing pro was asked if she could have any actress play her in a hypothetical movie based on her next chapter, who would she prefer? Shields admitted that she didn’t watch many movies, but she listed the Academy Award-winning actress, Angela Bassett.
Shields also listed Keke Palmer, and for Papoose, she named Morris Chestnut, Taye Diggs, and Jabari Banks.
BroRilla Pops Off Following Shields’ Interview
BroRilla shared a video on Instagram, and it would appear that she didn’t agree with Shields’ imaginary movie cast.
Woods delivered a passionate monologue with her unfiltered opinion on the matter, and she admitted that she was trolling Shields in the clip for talking about her relationship with her sister, GloRilla.
“You think Angela Bassett would play you?” asked BroRilla, in part.

Fans Defend Shields After BroRilla’s Critique
After BroRilla’s video was shared on TSR’s Instagram page, Roomies took to the comment section to defend Shields’ imaginary cast.
User @faithdonna.z wrote, “Y’all acting like she submitted the casting budget to Hollywood 😭 She was asked who she WANTS to play them, not who y’all approved. Let sis have her dream cast 😂.”
While @sway_thepro added, “Damn she can dream big. That’s the goal. Think and dream BIG! Crazy that people make fun of it. Smh That’s why she’s a goat and some people stuck in life because they don’t dream big enough. Like why do we have to tear each other down? Sh*t is sad.”
Additionally, user @teeteeswivae added, “Why are y’all upset that she mentioned she’ll luv if her fav actress & actor play in her biopic. People really just be mad about anything now in days 🤦🏾.”
BroRilla may not think Chestnut looks enough like Papoose for a non-existent biopic, but several fans thought of someone they think who does.
Furthermore @kichainz had another suggestion that several users co-signed. “Well Brorilla you look like a good fit to play Pap 🤷🏾♀️.”
While @raquellashaun added, “im deadd🤣🤣🤣.”
Additionally, user @sky_nina220 replied, “lol I always put lol’ but this right here made me laugh FORREAL 😭😭😭😭.”

One of ‘Blue Bloods’ Most Popular Characters Is Officially Back
Boston Blue Season 2 premieres in just over a month, and fans will finally get answers to the major questions left hanging after the Season 1 finale. Among the biggest developments, as teased by the newly unveiled plot details, is the return of a familiar Blue Bloods face, coming two years after the 14-season legal drama came to an end. As fans may recall, Blue Bloods, comprising 293 episodes, concluded on December 13, 2024, just a few months before CBS greenlit Boston Blue, the spin-off centered on Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg), which premiered on October 17, 2025.
Having aired earlier in May, the Boston Blue Season 1 finale ended on a major cliffhanger for Detective Brian Rodgers (Ryan Broussard), who was attacked and seemingly left for dead in a river. Season 2 is expected to shed light on his fate while expanding the Reagan family’s presence in the series with the return of Henry Reagan. Portrayed by Len Cariou, Henry is the Reagan family patriarch and a former New York City Police Commissioner. He is Frank Reagan’s (Tom Selleck) father and Danny’s grandfather, making his return particularly significant as Boston Blue continues to build its connection to the original series.
Boston Blue Season 2 premieres October 9, 2026, at 10/9c on CBS, with the episode titled “The Crash.” Per TV Insider, CBS has released the first plot details, along with two first-look images confirming the returns of Wahlberg and Sonequa Martin-Green as Danny and Lena, respectively. Lena appears to have recovered from the gunshot wound she suffered in the Season 1 finale. Meanwhile, the premiere synopsis doesn’t reveal Rodgers’ fate, but it does confirm the investigation into the attack against him remains ongoing.
“When a series of murders begins mirroring the infamous Boston Strangler killings, Danny and Lena race to stop a copycat killer before he strikes again. As panic grips the city, Jonah and Sean, fresh off their rookie year, as well as Henry Reagan, jump in to help Danny and Lena track down and arrest the killer. Also, Danny faces a career-defining promotion while Lena uncovers a lead that could link the attack on Detective Rodgers to a powerful figure.”
Who Stars in ‘Boston Blue’ Season 2?
In the upcoming Boston Blue season, Wahlberg and Martin-Green will be joined by Gloria Reuben, Ernie Hudson, Maggie Lawson, Mika Amonsen, and Marcus Scribner. Neal McDonough Is Officially the King of Paramount+
A surprise new movie has overtaken a handful of hits to top the domestic Paramount+ viewership chart. The movie in question was released theatrically in 2024, emerging as a quiet box-office hit. It stars two actors from Taylor Sheridan‘s troupe — Neal McDonough and Dawn Olivieri — and takes place in a post-apocalyptic Los Angeles. McDonough appeared in Sheridan’s Yellowstone and Tulsa King, while Olivieri was a part of the sprawling Yellowstone cast as well, in addition to her roles in The Madison, 1883 and Lioness. The movie was distributed domestically by the faith-based outfit Angel Studios, which also released McDonough’s The Last Rodeo to critical and commercial success.
The Last Rodeo premiered in 2025, grossing more than $15 million at the box office against a reported budget of $8 million. It now holds a 70% score on the aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, in addition to scoring an A grade from audiences on CinemaScore. Faith-based movies typically draw strong audience scores, and McDonough’s 2024 release was no different. It now holds a 71% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, which is much higher than its 43% critics’ score on the platform. According to FlixPatrol, it emerged as the number-one movie this week on Paramount+, the home of Sheridan’s blockbuster body of work.
Neal McDonough Is the King of Paramount+
We’re talking about the movie Homestead, a post-apocalyptic drama in which a group of survivors band together in a community run by an eccentric doomsday prepper. The film’s Rotten Tomatoes consensus reads, “Homestead is a well-intentioned post-apocalyptic fable whose narrative ambitions can’t overcome its ham-handed moralizing, undercooked story, and subpar execution.” In its theatrical run, Homestead grossed $20 million against a reported budget of $8 million. McDonough has cultivated a loyal following over the years, in part due to roles in Sheridan’s series and hits such as Justified, Arrow, and the widely watched network series 9-1-1: Lone Star.
Homestead beat out holdover hits such as Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, Top Gun: Maverick, and Machine Gun Preacher to claim the number one spot on Paramount+. Stay tuned to Collider for more updates.

Young and the Restless: Phyllis & Matt’s Scheme Fails – Sharon Faces Deadly Threat?!
The Young and the Restless indicates that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is fixated on the new man in her life, Matt Clark (Roger Howarth). But he just considered running away because of his dark side. So, Phyllis is now cooking up one of her harebrained schemes. It’s sure to blow up in her face, and it could actually get somebody hurt.
She promised Matt that she was going to make him the most respected person in Genoa City. But Phyllis’ big plan could get Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) hurt. Today we’re going to talk about Phyllis’ scheme. And all the ways this could blow up in her and Matt’s faces.
Young and the Restless: Phyllis Panicking over Matt
So, this week, Phyllis was freaking out. She was worried about Matt. And when he called Phyllis in tears, of course, she went running to the Riverside Motel. To pet and cuddle Matt after he had that terrible visit with Patty Williams. It made Matt feel like he is doomed to fall back into darkness. And we saw before he called, Phyllis was asking everybody, “Where’s Matt? What did the Newmans do?”
But now that she knows, she’s not letting on that she found him. So, it sounds like Phyllis may want people to think Matt took off and left Genoa City. Of course, while they do some plotting. And Phyllis was telling Matt that they just need a plan to redeem him. And that way, Phyllis and Matt can prove to everybody in town that he is truly a changed man.
Of course, Phyllis comes up with cockamamie schemes because that’s what Phyllis does. She comes up with wild plans that rarely ever work out. Her plan to trick Danny Romalotti to (Michael Damian) thinking he was Daniel Romalotti’s (Michael Graziadei) dad blew up in her face. The stuff with Summer Newman’s (Allison Lanier) paternity and when she was cheating on Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and lying all went bad.
Phyllis Never Learns on Y&R
But I think the worst Phyllis scheme in recent years was when she faked her own death with help from Jeremy Stark (James Hyde). Because if you remember, Phyllis wound up killing him, her husband. Because she had married him. Then Daniel and Summer hated Phyllis for a long time for this sketchy move because they were grieving her death.
And even more recently, we had Phyllis scheming with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and the whole AI thing that wound up blowing up in her face also. And now Phyllis is scheming again. I think we all know it’s not going to end well. But despite all her past failures with insane plots, Phyllis has not learned her lesson. And this time, she has roped Matt Clark into it. And of course, he has no idea how badly that all of Phyllis’s past schemes have backfired on her because he doesn’t know her history.
But at the same time, Matt doesn’t want to be a town pariah. So, he’s going to try Phyllis’s plan. She’s falling in love with Matt. She thinks he’s totally changed. So, Phyllis thinks she and Matt need to target Sharon to prove it. Not to harm her. But Phyllis wants to set up a situation to put Sharon at some sort of fake risk, and then Matt saves her. So the question is how will they do it?
Young and Restless: Phyllis Traps Sharon
Well, first of all, Phyllis could redo a blast from the past. Remember a few years back, Adam caused a blackout at Chance.com while plotting against Billy and the elevator got locked down with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) inside of it. She tried to climb out. She conked her head and it led to a bunch of messy stuff. So, Phyllis could make sure that Sharon is in an elevator, maybe at Newman Towers, maybe the GCAC. And then she rigs the elevator.
And if Phyllis traps Sharon, it might actually trigger some of her trauma from the whole Martin Laurent (Christopher Cousins) kidnap stuff. Then Matt could swoop in, pry the doors open, and pull her out. And Sharon would be really grateful and would probably tell everybody Matt saved her. Phyllis could spread the word of his daring deed. Matt could pretend to even risk his own safety to save Sharon to make it look even more believable. Like as soon as Matt pulls her out, the elevator could plummet.
Young and the Restless: Phyllis & Matt Rig Sharon’s Car
Another thing that we could see is Matt and Phyllis could stage a car accident with Sharon. They could rig her car, maybe loosen a tire so it falls off or mess with the brakes when Phyllis knows that Sharon’s driving home to the Newman Ranch or something. Not on like a dangerous windy cliff road. And Phyllis could make sure that Matt is following in his car. So when Sharon has her crash, then he can save her. Phyllis could even tamper with things so that maybe there’s a fire in the wreck and that Matt saved Sharon from something that seems really scary and dire but was actually cleverly orchestrated.
Another idea is they could stage a mugging or an attempted kidnapping. Phyllis could hire somebody to go after Sharon. I mean, heck, it could even be Phyllis in a mask because she’s pretty tall and she or somebody else pretends to attack Sharon and steal her purse and then Matt swoops in and saves Sharon.
You know, Phyllis could also hire some thug to target Sharon for a mugging or a kidnapping and then Matt saves her, punches the guy who runs off and somehow gets away. Phyllis can afford to pay somebody to do this and that way she would have an alibi, and Matt would look super heroic.

Phyllis Stages a Fall for Sharon on Y&R
So another option for this scheme based on what Phyllis says to Matt this week is we could see something more perilous. It was a bit of a red flag when Phyllis said at one point she’d have been happy to see Sharon dangling off the top of Newman Towers. So maybe dangling is going to be part of this terrible plan.
You know, Phyllis could lure Sharon out somewhere and stage a fall or a near-fall. You know, maybe Phyllis gets Sharon to meet her at the Chancellor Overlook and sets it up for her to trip and be dangling by her fingertips and then Matt’s conveniently there to pull Sharon up from the brink of death or serious injury. That would be out in public so lots of people could see Matt saving Sharon because the more public eyes on Matt playing hero, the better for Phyllis scheme to redeem Matt in everybody’s eyes.
But there are so many things that can go wrong with any and all of these plans. So, another thing that she might consider similar to the kidnapping or mugging plot is Phyllis could hire somebody to stage a fake armed robbery at Crimson Lights. So, Matt could be in there having a latte and Phyllis sends in a hired henchman with a fake gun or a gun that’s not supposed to be loaded to make Sharon think she’s being robbed.
And then Matt could pounce on the gunman, punch him, and the guy, you know, runs off out of the coffee shop while Matt comforts Sharon and calls 911 to report this fake robbery. That way, it would be a matter of public record that Matt almost took a bullet to save Sharon. It could be impressive on Young and the Restless.
Phyllis & Matt Doomed Young and the Restless
But no matter what scheme Phyllis chooses, I don’t see any of it working because first of all, her plots always end up blowing up in the end. Second, Sharon may smell a rat and realize the dangerous event with some sort of setup because she knows what a schemer that Phyllis is and things just seem off. And third, it might not work because Phyllis’ plan goes awry and Sharon actually gets hurt when she’s not supposed to. Like the robber accidentally left a bullet chambered in his gun and a shot is fired and maybe Sharon is grazed.
Or the mugger Phyllis hires decided to be opportunistic and really mug Sharon and she winds up harmed. Or in a dangling scenario, if Matt doesn’t get to her and grab her in time, Sharon could take an actual tumble and break an arm or a leg or somebody else runs over and saves her and then Matt’s implicated because he was nearby and blamed for shoving her or something. I absolutely think this is going to blow up in Phyllis and Matt’s faces and they’ll wind up looking even worse because honestly it’s classic Phyllis to wind up a complete disaster.
