Paramount’s latest licensing deal turns its beloved movies and TV series into high-end, semi-permanent body art and nail designs.
Inked by Dani, the buzzy New York-based brand at the forefront of the temporary tattoo resurgence, is a favorite amongst A-listers and influencers alike. A refined and contemporary take on a childhood pastime, the hand-drawn designs have become a commitment-free form of self-expressions and a staple amongst festivalgoers.
Now, founder and fine artist Dani Enga is using her keen eye for aesthetics to elevate Paramount’s most popular pop culture franchises, including Mean Girls, Clueless and Emily in Paris. The limited-edition drop features both temporary tattoos and nail art. (Note: Inked by Dani’s nail designs double as tiny body tattoos.)
“Our brand is all about nostalgia and self expression, so it is really special to be able to take our INKED spin on iconic properties and brands that I grew up with,” the company’s CEO and Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree exclusively tells The Hollywood Reporter. “It’s been amazing to be able to work with Paramount to bring these cult-favorites to life as wearable art!”
Both the body tattoos and nail tattoos can be applied with water in just a few seconds, with the body art lasting up to two weeks. Each pack has over 40 skin tattoos or over 100 nail tattoos.
