Jana Kramer is opening up about the coparenting lessons she’s learned following her divorce from Mike Caussin.

“A few things I’ve learned about co-parenting after divorce,” Kramer, 42, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, September 5. “The end of a marriage comes with so much pain and grief, and you don’t get to totally separate from that person when you share kids. Learning how to put my own hurt aside and separate our relationship as a couple from our relationship as parents took time, healing a lot of growth.”

Kramer and Caussin, who were married from 2015 to 2021, are parents to daughter Jolie, 10, and son Jace, 7. Kramer has since moved on with Scottish soccer coach Allan Russell, with whom she welcomed son Roman in 2023. The pair tied the knot in Scotland in 2024.

“Letting go of control has probably been one of the hardest lessons for me,” she wrote. “What happens at their dad’s house isn’t always going to look exactly like what happens at mine but if something comes up that I know their dad would want a say in, I ask, and I know he’ll do the same.”

She continued, “Your kids shouldn’t have to choose sides. No matter what has happened between the adults, your kids deserve to have their own relationship with both of their parents. I never want them to feel like loving one of us means being disloyal to the other.”

Kramer went on to note that “missing parts of their life is really hard” and something that she doesn’t think “ever feels 100 percent normal.”

“There are ordinary school mornings, practices, holidays and little moments I’m not there for, and sometimes that still hurts,” she wrote. “Speaking of holidays, the first one you don’t wake up with your kids or have them for a tradition you’ve always done together feels literally heartbreaking. You eventually find new traditions and a new normal, but those first few are hard, and it’s OK to admit that.”

Kramer explained that her parenting plan with Caussin gives the exes “structure,” but noted that the pair “don’t treat it like it’s set in stone.”

Related: Jana Kramer Says Coparenting With Ex Mike Caussin Is ‘Not an Easy Journey’

Jana Kramer has learned to put any bitterness toward ex-husband Mike Caussin to rest if it means creating an amicable coparenting arrangement for their kids. “It’s not an easy journey, but being angry does nothing for anybody,” Kramer, 41, exclusively told Us Weekly at iHeartRadio 102.7 KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball on Friday, December 6. “It […]

“We’ve both gotten really good at adjusting schedules, switching days when needed and understanding that life happens. That flexibility on both sides has made coparenting so much easier,” she wrote. “Having a supportive partner makes a huge difference. Allan understands that coparenting is part of our life and supports the relationship J&J have with their dad. There’s no competition or trying to replace anyone, just another person in their corner who loves them and wants what’s best for them.”

She continued, “A bonus of this whole situation is Roman. He changed our family dynamic in the best way, and it’s been so special watching the relationship between all three of them grow.”

Kramer explained that with “three kids at different ages and in two different households, it’s easy for our time together to become all about the family as a whole,” but she tries to be intentional with one on one time.

“I try to make space for individual time with each of them, whether it’s a mani/pedi date … or a special movie night, I always want to make sure they each get moments where they have my full attention,” she wrote.

She continued, “I definitely don’t have it all figured out. There are still hard days, moments we don’t agree and times when old emotions come up. Coparenting isn’t about getting it perfect. For me, it’s about continuing to learn, give each other grace and come back to what matters most: our kids.”

In the caption, Kramer explained that she thought it would be helpful to share her lessons after talking via DM about coparenting. She added, “I hope this helps someone who’s navigating it too 🤍.”

Alexandra Artrip Addresses Practical Magic 2 Recasting

Practical Magic star Alexandra Artrip has opened up about her character being recast for the film’s sequel.

“I love hearing your stories and connections to the film, but … I see them going on a lot of content around the sequel,” Artrip, 36, said in a Thursday, September 3, Instagram video after her OG costar Evan Rachel Wood claimed that nobody from the original film reached out to her about her own recasting.

“I think the sentiment is right. People are trying to show support for Evan and myself and the original film and everything that it’s meant to so many people, but I just don’t want my stuff to be a space for negativity,” Artrip, who has retired from acting, continued. “Maisie [Williams] and Joey [King] are lovely actresses, and I’m sure the production team did what they thought was best for the film to be successful.” (Williams, 29, and King, 27, replace Artrip and Wood’s characters in Practical Magic 2.)

She added, “I just think we should support the film, give it a shot, go in with an open mind and nothing can take away from what the original film was and I’m excited that we’re able to build on that world with a new novel and new content in 2026, and that it’s given me a space to revisit all of those beloved memories to many years later.”

Evan Rachel Wood shot down speculation of her return to the Practical Magic universe. The actress, 37, posted a statement via her Instagram Stories on Friday, July 11 clearing up any rumors surrounding her potential return for the sequel. “I am getting asked about this a lot, so I’ll just clear it up now,” she […]

Artrip, who portrayed one of Sandra Bullock’s character Sally Owens’ daughters in the 1998 original, addressed the upcoming sequel one day after Wood, 38, took to her own Instagram account to address the casting decision. “I really appreciated Joey King reaching out to me because no one who worked on the original film did. She’s a sweetheart,” Wood, who portrayed another Owens sister, wrote via her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, September 1.

King had told The Hollywood Reporter at the Los Angeles premiere of Practical Magic 2 on Monday, August 31, that she’d shared a “lovely” conversation with Wood about taking on the role. “I just was so appreciative of the support that she showed to me and to the rest of the cast. She is so talented and so beautiful and she made this role so special when she was a young girl,” King said at the time. “I feel so grateful to be able to play Kylie at this age but I love Evan so much and I’m so appreciative of her kind words and the exchange that her and I shared.”

Wood confirmed in July 2025 via her Instagram Stories that she wouldn’t be returning as Kylie Owens in Practical Magic 2. “I am getting asked about this a lot, so l’ll just clear it up now; I was not asked to come back and be in the Practical Magic sequel. l offered my services, even if it was one scene or one line. I was told they are recasting,” she wrote at the time. “I am sorry to disappoint the fans. It was not in my control or my choice. I would have happily rejoined my sisters.”

One month later, she said during an interview with Entertainment Weekly that she believes the decision came down to where the sequel’s story was headed. “I read the book and it seems like they’re not following the book,” Wood told the outlet. “I think in the book it would have made sense to bring me back; I think in the way they’re redoing it and approaching it, it didn’t make sense.”

Andrew Garfield Faces Heat Over His Billionaire Warning

Published

on

'After The Hunt' Headline Gala - The 69th BFI London Film Festival In UK

Andrew Garfield expected conversations about class struggle when he signed on for “The Uprising.” However, what he may not have expected was becoming part of the debate himself.

The actor found himself facing criticism online after remarks he made during a Los Angeles screening of the historical drama spread across social media.

While Garfield was discussing the film’s themes of inequality and power, some viewers argued that his comments rang hollow coming from one of Hollywood’s highest-paid stars.

Set against the backdrop of England’s 1381 Peasants’ Revolt, “The Uprising” explores a period of social unrest that followed the Black Death.

The story examines how crushing taxes imposed by King Richard II’s government to finance the Hundred Years’ War pushed ordinary people toward rebellion.

During a question-and-answer session at a Los Angeles screening, Andrew Garfield and director Paul Greengrass discussed what they hoped audiences would take away from the project.

When asked what message he wanted viewers to leave with, the 43-year-old said he hoped the film would resonate beyond its historical setting.

“Well, first I hope they come and see it, first thing,” Garfield said in a video uploaded by The Movie Report, adding, “Secondly, I hope it’s galvanizing. I hope there’s some awakening that people feel … that we all feel like our own struggles are being reflected in the struggles of these characters from a distant time and place and that it could be directive.”

Garfield plays a fictional character known as Ploughman, while Cosmo Jarvis portrays real-life rebel leader Wat Tyler, one of the most prominent figures associated with the uprising.

The discussion took a different turn when Andrew Garfield added a remark that quickly became the focus of online conversation.

“And I hope that if any billionaires watch it, they’re scared sh–less,” he stated.

The comment immediately attracted criticism from social media users who questioned whether the “Spider-Man: No Way Home” actor was the right messenger for anti-billionaire rhetoric.

Critics pointed to Garfield’s own financial success and the role wealthy investors and studio executives play in financing major film productions.

Among those responding was former Los Angeles mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt, who challenged Garfield’s statement in a post on X. “You mean…like the billionaires who greenlight your movies and stroke all your multi-million dollar paychecks? Or they good?” Pratt wrote.

Pratt followed up his criticism by noting Garfield’s recent casting as OpenAI chief Sam Altman in the upcoming film “Artificial.” “Ironically, Garfield just got paid like $5M for playing billionaire Sam Altman in Artificial,” he added.

Spencer Pratt wasn’t the only public figure who took issue with Garfield’s remarks. Several commentators argued that the Hollywood star’s comments conflicted with the realities of modern Hollywood.

Rick Davis, an associate pastor at Providence Church in Virginia, questioned the direction of the project itself.

“When I first heard they were making a period film about Wat Tyler, I was pretty excited. But the more Andrew Garfield talks, the more it sounds like it’s just going to be socialist garbage,” Davis shared per Page Six.

Substack columnist John William Sherrod also weighed in, writing, “Hilarious that world-famous, multi, multi millionaire Andrew Garfield is cosplaying as a put upon member of the working class.”

Meanwhile, Tablet Magazine chief technology officer Noam Blum added, “More billionaires were involved in making this than will probably ever watch it.”

Garfield Revives Longstanding Push For A Gay Spider-Man

A few days before Andrew Garfield’s comments at “The Uprising” screening, another set of remarks from the actor drew attention for a very different reason.

While promoting the historical drama, Garfield revisited an idea he first raised more than a decade ago: the possibility of a gay Spider-Man.

Rather than introducing a new argument, he reaffirmed a position he originally shared in 2013 during the promotion of “The Amazing Spider-Man 2.”

Looking back on that earlier conversation, Garfield said he still believed the character’s appeal came from the fact that anyone could see themselves behind the mask. “I just still believe that anyone can be in that suit,” he explained to Entertainment Weekly, while discussing the superhero’s enduring popularity.

Garfield’s comments revived discussion about statements he made years ago when he openly questioned why Peter Parker could not explore his sexuality. At the time, he even floated the idea of Michael B. Jordan portraying a male version of Mary Jane’s role in the story.

The conversation also showcased how much the Spider-Man universe has evolved since Garfield last headlined the franchise.

While no live-action Spider-Man has been portrayed as openly gay, Marvel introduced Web-Weaver, an openly gay Spider-Man variant, in the comics in 2022.

Away from the debate surrounding “The Uprising” and the renewed Spider-Man discussion, Garfield also offered a more personal glimpse into how he copes with the demands of his work.

The star admitted that filming Paul Greengrass’ gritty historical drama took a significant emotional toll, making it important for him to find ways to decompress after long days on set.

Speaking to PEOPLE at the film’s Los Angeles premiere on September 2, Garfield revealed that his preferred method of unwinding is surprisingly simple.

“I watch dumb movies. I watch dumb TV shows. I have a lot of dumb things,” he said before quickly clarifying that one favorite does not belong in that category at all.

“Right now, always, the Paddington movies,” Garfield explained. He immediately corrected himself, adding, “But they’re not dumb! They’re incredible movies.”

Below Deck Mediterranean’s Gael Cameron is discussing how she’s coping after ex-boyfriend Nathan Gallagher’s 2025 domestic violence arrest.

CT has been married twice prior to his romance with Phaedra: to Lilianet Solares from 2018 to 2023 and to Catalina White from 2024 to 2026. (CT and Lilianet share a 10-year-old son, Christopher.)

Patrick Clancy Appeared Stressed With New Wife During NYC Outing Amid Lindsay Clancy Trial

“Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast host Amanda Hirsch is speaking out after her sponsored Polymarket ad mentioning Lindsay Clancy’s triple murder case sparked immense online backlash.

“Posting about the Lindsay Clancy trial in the same breath as a brand partnership was completely insensitive, wrong and out of character for me,” Hirsch, 37, wrote in a Sunday, September 6, social media statement. “I should have known better, and I feel sick that I didn’t see that in the moment.”

Hirsch claimed in a since-deleted social media caption on Friday, September 4, that Polymarket “predicted the verdict would be not guilty” via a sponsored post for the betting site. The influencer added, “Are you surprised? #Polymarketpartner.”

Clancy, 36, was charged with murder following the deaths of her three children in January 2023. (Lindsay and ex-husband Patrick Clancy shared Cora, Dawson and Callan, who died at 5, 3, and 8 months, respectively.)

Lindsay has admitted to strangling her kids to death before jumping from a second-story window in an apparent suicide attempt. She is now paralyzed from the waist down. She pleaded not guilty, however, with her defense team arguing that she should not be held criminally responsible due to a documented history of postpartum mental health struggles including depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder.

The prosecution argued the mom was aware of right and wrong at the time of the killings, claiming it was a premeditated act.

After more than five days and 30 hours of deliberations, a Massachusetts judge declared a mistrial on Friday after the 12-person jury remained deadlocked 11-1 and unable to reach a unanimous verdict.

In light of the case’s mistrial, Hirsch’s Polymarket content came under fire and she swiftly deleted the original post.

“As a mom, this case has really affected me,” Hirsch, who shares two kids with husband Yaron Weiss, added on Sunday. “I’ve been following it so closely, talking about it constantly and feeling heartbroken over every part of it. I became so consumed that I completely lost perspective and didn’t stop to think about how grossly inappropriate it was to discuss something this tragic in that context.”

Hirsch further claimed that she “made a terrible judgment call” by sharing the sponsored content in the first place.

‘The X-Files’ Creator Officially Breaks His Silence on Mulder and Scully’s Return

Published

on

03131556_poster_w780.jpg

The X-Files may be getting yet another revival, this time under the watch of Ryan Coogler. However, Coogler’s take on the franchise is expected to introduce a new pair of central characters, though they bear some similarities to FBI legends Fox Mulder and Dana Scully. Details on the reboot remain scarce, but whispers of David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson potentially returning have swirled around. While we wait to see whether Coogler can pull off a reunion, his reboot may not be the only way Mulder and Scully could return. New details surrounding a potential Season 12 of The X-Files have emerged, and there’s reason to believe the iconic duo isn’t quite done yet.

Chris Carter, the creator behind the iconic sci-fi series, has been busy revisiting The X-Files himself while promoting his new director’s cut of the franchise’s 2008 standalone movie, The X-Files: I Want to Believe. Working on the new cut, subtitled Vrach Frankenshteyn, has sparked in Carter a desire to continue Mulder and Scully’s story. He recently confirmed in an interview with Collider that he would be interested in continuing The X-Files, provided the timing is right. Explaining that he has no intention of stepping on Coogler’s toes, Carter expressed “complete respect for him and his vision” and wants any continuation of his story to coexist without conflicting with the upcoming reboot.

Now, Carter has revealed during an appearance on Seriously Obsessed with Annie and Jenn that he’s already let Duchovny and Anderson in on his ideas and plans, and is working toward getting them back. Carter made it clear that he has no interest in continuing the series without its two iconic leads, saying, “I mean I can’t and don’t want to do it without them.” He explained that he has separately met with both Duchovny and Anderson to discuss what he has in mind, even though neither actor was aware of his plans when the series last came to an end in 2018. “I’ve already teased it to David, and I’ve teased it to Gillian, but they’re very busy people,” Carter explained. “They’ve got lots going on. They know what I’m aiming for and at, and they didn’t before when the show came to an end there.”

Your Fate Has Been Calculated
You’d Survive In…

Your answers point to the world your instincts were built for. This is the universe your temperament, your survival instincts, and your particular brand of stubbornness were made for.

The Resistance, Zion

The Matrix

You took the red pill a long time ago — probably before anyone offered it to you. You’re a systems thinker who can’t help but notice the seams in things.

  • You’re drawn to understanding how the system works before figuring out how to break it.
  • You’d find the Resistance, or it would find you — your instinct for spotting constructed realities is the machines’ worst nightmare.
  • You function best when you have access to information and the freedom to act on it.
  • The Matrix built an airtight prison. You’d be the one probing the walls for the door.

The Wasteland

Mad Max

The wasteland doesn’t reward the clever or the well-connected — it rewards those who are hard to kill and harder to break. That’s you.

  • You don’t need comfort, community, or a cause larger than the next horizon.
  • You need a vehicle, a clear threat, and enough fuel to outrun it — and you’re good at all three.
  • You are unsentimental enough to survive that world, and decent enough — just barely — to be something more than another raider.
  • In the wasteland, that distinction is everything.

Los Angeles, 2049

Blade Runner

You’d survive here because you know how to exist in moral grey areas without losing yourself completely.

  • You read people accurately, keep your circle small, and ask the questions others prefer not to answer.
  • In a city where humanity is a legal designation rather than a feeling, you hold onto something that keeps you functional.
  • You’re not a hero. But you’re not lost, either.
  • In Blade Runner’s world, that distinction is everything.

Arrakis

Dune

Arrakis is the most hostile environment in the known universe — and you are precisely the kind of person it rewards.

  • Patience, discipline, and political awareness are your core strengths — and on Arrakis, they’re survival tools.
  • You understand that the long game matters more than any single victory.
  • Others come to Dune and are consumed by it. You’d learn its logic and earn its respect.
  • In time, you wouldn’t just survive Arrakis — you’d begin to reshape it.

A Galaxy Far, Far Away

Star Wars

The galaxy far, far away is vast, loud, and in a constant state of violent political upheaval — and you wouldn’t have it any other way.

  • You find meaning in being part of something larger than yourself — a cause, a crew, a rebellion.
  • You’d gravitate toward the Rebellion, or the fringes, or whatever pocket of the galaxy still believes the Empire’s grip can be broken.
  • You fight — not because you have to, but because standing aside isn’t something you’re capable of.
  • In Star Wars, that willingness is what makes all the difference.

Ryan Coogler’s Reboot Could Be the Key to Bringing Mulder and Scully Back

Coogler’s upcoming reboot could unexpectedly work in Carter’s favor to help bring back the iconic duo. Carter has made it clear that he doesn’t want his plans for Mulder and Scully to interfere with what Coogler is building, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the two projects have to exist in isolation. A brief appearance from Duchovny and Anderson in the reboot could give fans an update on where Mulder and Scully are now, while potentially creating a natural path toward continuing their story elsewhere. It could even allow Carter to address some of the lingering issues from Season 11 without forcing Coogler’s new series to carry that baggage.

There is, of course, plenty of skepticism surrounding a reboot of The X-Files with different characters from what fans have followed for decades. But bringing back the franchise’s original stars, even briefly, could be the perfect way to bridge the old and new versions of the series. “I really want to see what he’s doing, and I don’t want to take away from it in any way,” Carter told Collider. That leaves the door open to a scenario where Carter and Coogler’s respective takes on The X-Files could potentially benefit one another.

For now, though, fans will have to wait and see whether Carter’s plans for Mulder and Scully ever make it beyond the idea stage. Carter’s newly released Vrach Frankenshteyn cut of The X-Files: I Want to Believe is available to stream on Hulu. Stay tuned for future updates.

Jack Osbourne Breaks Silence on Ozzy Osbourne's Death With Sweet Tribute

Jack Osbourne has felt dad Ozzy Osbourne’s presence in the days, weeks and months following the iconic rocker’s death.

“I was on a shoot, I had to go down to Mexico. … It was a hellacious travel day and I woke up and I’m in a pissed off mood,” Jack, 40, said on a Friday, September 4, episode of the Good Night with Ben Gleib YouTube show. “I end up getting to the airport and I’m just in my head having one of those real negative, like s***y just whatever moments. And I got my backpack on, headphones marching through this airport and someone comes running up next to me and bumps me.”

He continued, “At which point, I’m like, ‘The f***?’ And I look up and this guy runs off. He was clearly late for a flight and he’s wearing a Black Sabbath patch on the back of his vest. I’m like, ‘OK, message heard.’”

Jack recalled getting a connecting flight through Guadalajara and experiencing another sign.

Jack Osbourne has broken his silence following the death of his father, Ozzy Osbourne, last month. “I haven’t really wanted to post anything since the passing of my father. My heart has hurt too much,” Jack, 39, wrote in an Instagram post early Wednesday, August 6, which he shared alongside a remembrance video of photos […]

“I’m in the back of the plane,” he said. “I’m sat there. I just want to get home to see my kids. And then I take my headphone[s] out because they’re making the announcement. I’m like, just making sure I’m on the right plane.”

He continued, “All of a sudden, I hear my dad’s music playing. And I look over to my right and there must’ve been this 65-70 year old Mexican cowboy dude sat there, just watching one of my dad’s music videos. I’m just kind of like, ‘What the f***?’ OK, message heard. Message heard.”

News broke in July 2025 that Ozzy died after a battle with Parkinson’s disease. He was 76. Months later, Jack opened up about learning of his father’s death after just spending a week in the U.K. with his family.

“I woke up in Los Angeles to a knock at my house door, at around 3:45 in the morning. Someone who’s worked for my family for probably 30 years now was knocking on my door. When I looked through my window and saw it was him, I just knew something bad had happened,” Jack explained in a YouTube video in September 2025.

He continued, “I was informed that my father had passed. … Immediately, I don’t know … just pain. Sadness and pain. So many thoughts. You go through this of like, feeling sad and frustrated and angry. … But there was a level of like, OK, he’s not suffering anymore, he’s not struggling, and that is something.”

Ciara Pregnant With Baby No. 5, Her 4th With Russell Wilson

Published

on

Ciara and Russell Wilson Relationship Timeline Promo

Ciara and husband Russell Wilson’s starting lineup is getting a little bigger.

“One more person to love,” Ciara, 40, wrote via Instagram on Sunday, September 6, announcing her pregnancy alongside several vintage-looking videos and photos of the singer and her former NFL quarterback husband, 37, revealing the pregnancy news.

In the video and pics, Ciara could be seen rocking a simple pair of blue jeans and a white top that accentuated her growing baby bump. The couple posed alongside a clothesline featuring t-shirts boasting the names of the blended family’s children alongside a nameless white onesie representing the baby-to-be.

Ciara and Wilson, who have been married since 2016, are already the parents of daughters Sienna, 9, and Amora, 2, as well as son Win,5. (Ciara also shares eldest son Future, 11, with rapper ex Future.)

Shortly after Ciara gave birth to Amora in December 2023, Wilson already had future babies on the brain.

“My husband’s been the one doing that. He’s the one to pick this thing off,” the singer exclusively told Us Weekly in July 2026, revealing whether a fifth baby was in the cards for the couple. “I will tell you, when I was giving birth to Amora, … he was like shortly after, ‘So cinco?’ and I’m like, ‘Wait a minute now, like slow it down, sir. We just had a baby here. Let’s be in this moment here, sir.’”

According to Ciara, she quickly told Wilson (“in a laughing way”) that his comment was “disrespectful” to hear in the delivery room.

“I love being a mom. It’s my favorite job of all, and I couldn’t stand here and tell you that I don’t see that happening one day in our lives to have cinco because why not?” she added to Us. “I think the greatest discovery for me is learning that I can figure it out.”

Ciara continued at the time, “From the first day that I decided to be a mom, I was definitely really like, ‘OK, what’s this world going to be like?’ A little uncertain, but I also had great faith and confidence in myself that it was going to be a beautiful chapter. I’m so glad that, over the years, in the midst of all my ambition and drive and determination and goals, that I feel I’ve been committing to living my life because we can’t get it back. I don’t want to look back and say, ‘Man, I wish I would have.’”

Ciara further gushed that motherhood “fills [her] cup up so much.”

“It’s a part of me being me. So I say, why not?” she teased of potentially having another baby. “Well, when the time is right, how about that?”

Ciara and Wilson celebrated their 10th anniversary earlier that year amid his NFL retirement. After 14 seasons playing pro football, Wilson confirmed in June 2026 that he was hanging up his cleats and inking a deal with CBS Sports to serve as an analyst.

“As I enter this next chapter with CBS Sports and ‘The NFL Today,’ I’m so blessed to continue doing what I love most — being around the greatest game in the world,” he said in a social media video. “I thank you, football. I am forever grateful.”

Ciara responded to Wilson’s announcement via Instagram comment, calling her husband “the best in the world.”

Bruce Campbell’s 10/10 Horror Classic Is Officially Back on Streaming

Published

on

xsgtuatr2zsh8umg3jwzczjldpe.jpg

B-movie legend Bruce Campbell has recently revealed the extent of his current health challenges, resulting in an outpouring of love and respect from colleagues and fans alike. Campbell has made huge contributions to the horror genre, and no matter the outcome of his battle with cancer, he will live on forever though his work. Now, one of his finest collaborations with friend and director Sam Raimi has found a new streaming home.

The Evil Dead began with $90,000 USD, a cabin in Tennessee, and a cast and crew who’d never made a movie before. The result was a phantasmagoria of speeding cameras, demonic possession, and goopy special effects. It became a huge sleeper hit, and launched Raimi and Campbell into stardom. Campbell stars as Ash Williams, an everyman who finds himself drawn into a living nightmare when an ancient grimoire known as the Necronomicon unleashes the demonic Deadites. Campbell and Raimi reunited for Evil Dead II, which upped the ante for both horror and comedy; once more confronted with the Deadites, Ash goes action hero in one of the most over-the-top climaxes in horror history. Both films were such successes on home video that Raimi and Campbell were given the chance to finish off their trilogy with the wildest entry yet.

So listen up, you primitive screwheads, because Army of Darkness is now streaming on Prime Video. The film is the ultimate culmination of Campbell and Raimi’s Three Stooges-meets-George Romero sensibility. It takes Ash even further out of his element and deposits him in the Middle Ages (in fact, the film was originally titled Medieval Dead). There, he romances a comely noblewoman (Embeth Davidtz) while battling his own evil doppelgänger, Evil Ash, and an army of Jason and the Argonauts-style Deadite skeletons.

Your Survival Odds Have Been Calculated
Your Best Chance Is Against…

Camp Crystal Lake · Friday the 13th

Jason Voorhees

Jason is relentless, but he is also predictable — and that is the gap you would exploit.

  • He moves in straight lines toward his target. He doesn’t strategise, doesn’t adapt, doesn’t outsmart. He simply pursues.
  • Your ability to keep moving, use the environment, and resist the panic that freezes most victims gives you a genuine edge.
  • The Crystal Lake survivors were always the ones who stopped running in circles and started thinking about terrain, water, and distance.
  • You think like that. Which means Jason, for all his indestructibility, would face someone who simply refused to be where he expected.

Haddonfield, Illinois · Halloween

Michael Myers

Michael watches before he moves. He is patient, methodical, and almost impossible to detect — until it’s too late for anyone who isn’t paying close enough attention.

  • But you are paying attention. You notice the shape in the window, the car parked slightly wrong, the silence where there should be sound.
  • Michael’s power lies in the invisibility of ordinary suburbia — the fact that nothing ever looks wrong until it already is.
  • Your spatial awareness and instinct to map every room, every exit, and every shadow before you need them is precisely the quality Laurie Strode had.
  • You are not a victim waiting to happen. You are someone who already suspects something is wrong — and acts on it.

Elm Street · A Nightmare on Elm Street

Freddy Krueger

Freddy wins by getting inside your head — using your own fears, your own memories, your own subconscious as weapons against you. That strategy requires a target who can be destabilised.

  • You are harder to destabilise than most. You’ve faced uncomfortable truths about yourself and you haven’t looked away.
  • The survivors on Elm Street were always the ones who understood what was happening and chose to face it rather than flee from it.
  • Freddy’s greatest weakness is that his power evaporates in the presence of someone who refuses to give him the fear he feeds on.
  • Your psychological resilience — the ability to stay grounded when reality itself becomes unreliable — is exactly the quality that keeps you alive here.

Derry, Maine · It

Pennywise

Pennywise is ancient, shapeshifting, and feeds on terror — but it has one critical vulnerability: it cannot function against someone who genuinely stops being afraid of it.

  • The Losers Club didn’t survive because they were braver than everyone else. They survived because they faced their fears together, and faced them honestly.
  • You ask the questions others avoid. You look directly at what frightens you rather than turning away.
  • That directness — the refusal to let fear fester in the dark — is Pennywise’s worst nightmare.
  • It chose the wrong target when it chose you. You are exactly the kind of person whose fear tastes like nothing at all.

Chicago · Child’s Play

Chucky

Chucky’s greatest advantage is that nobody takes him seriously until it’s already too late. He exploits the gap between how something looks and what it actually is.

  • You don’t have that gap. You take threats seriously regardless of how they present — and you never make the mistake of underestimating something because of its size or appearance.
  • Chucky relies on surprise, on the delay between recognition and response. You close that delay faster than almost anyone.
  • Your instinct to treat every unfamiliar thing with appropriate scepticism — rather than dismissing it because it seems absurd — is the exact quality that keeps you breathing.
  • Against Chucky, not laughing is already winning. You are very good at not laughing.

What’s Next for Bruce Campbell?

Campbell has put Ash Williams to rest, after three movies and three seasons of the sequel TV series Ash vs. Evil Dead; he did, however, serve as an executive producer on this year’s Evil Dead Burn and will serve in the same capacity for the upcoming Evil Dead Wrath. He can currently be seen in the indie dramedy Ernie & Emma, which he also wrote and directed. He plays Ernie, a retired salesman who takes a cross-country journey to scatter his wife’s ashes in a series of locations specified in her will.

Army of Darkness is now streaming on Prime Video. Stay tuned to Collider for future updates.
