Jeffrey Manke’s Cousin’s Letter After His, Daughters’ Deaths
Jeffrey Manke’s cousin wrote a letter to the court one day after he and his two daughters were found dead in his Winneconne, Wisconsin, home, speculating that his divorce from ex-wife Lindsay Lewandowski “drove him insane.”
“My cousin Jeff Manke was found dead + his (2) daughters (yesterday),” Jolene Manke wrote in the letter dated Tuesday, August 4, which was obtained by Us. “I can’t bear the pain. I assume his divorce drove him insane or police involvement.”
As Us previously reported, Jeffrey, 57, and his two daughters, Jaelyn Manke and Lenora Manke, were found dead at his home just hours after he finalized his divorce from their mother.
Lewandowski, 38, filed for divorce in 2024, and the former couple shared joint custody as they battled it out in court over a permanent custody arrangement.
Us also viewed an affidavit from Jeffrey from March 26, 2025, in which he detailed troubles he had with Jaelyn, 16. He said that his eldest child was struggling with the divorce and that she started going to counseling.
Jeffrey went on to claim that Lewandowski continuously exposed their daughters to her new partner, whom he believed exhibited threatening behavior after incidents at the children’s taekwondo class and at his church. “He was asked by the instructor why they broke boards, and he made a comment about breaking heads and looked at me,” Jeffrey claimed.
Another issue Jeffrey discussed in the affidavit was that Jaelyn and Lewandowski’s significant other were “texting and or calling each other repeatedly,” which he felt was not “appropriate” and was “interfering with my relationship with my minor child.“
Jeffrey also claimed that he believed one of his children had been encouraged to spy on him after Lewandowski expressed her concerns about his alcohol consumption.
“I was drinking a 7-Up, and I put olives in it with no liquor. When I arrived at the dance to pick up my child, the police said I had an anonymous report that I was drunk driving and I was approached by three officers. I talked to the officers and offered to take a breathalyzer, but they said they were convinced I was not drinking,” he said. “I believe she was encouraged to report that to the police.”
After claiming that Lewandowski made threats including that “the harassment will stop once you give up your parental rights to my daughters,” he argued that their kids “should not be exposed to significant others.”
“I believe it is in the best interest for the minor children for the court to order that neither party can expose the minor children to a significant other during the period of pending divorce during their periods of placement and act their activities,” he said.
Jeffrey then claimed that Jaelyn “admitted she counted the amount of times [he] went into [his] bedroom” during therapy. “Again, I am suspicious, where this behavior is coming from. I need a no significant other order to bring normalcy to their situation,” he said.
Lewandowski responded to Jeffrey’s complaints in her own affidavit the following month, refuting his claims regarding her significant other: “The close bonds and connections have grown naturally overtime [sic] and are not some sudden occurrence as [Jeffrey] may suggest,” adding that she and her boyfriend are both involved in the community and attend the same church and tae kwon do classes.
“At no point in time leading up to the divorce did [Jeffrey] claim that our children should have no contact with him”
Lewandowski said her significant other is “certainly not dangerous” and is actively involved in their church, teaching classes at Bible school and working with youth programs.
She claimed that his allegations are “indicative of his inability to be accountable for his own actions. Rather than try to meaningfully mend his relationship with his children, [he] lashes out and blames the third party for why his relationship with his children is on the rocks.”
Lewandowski also discussed his struggles with substance abuse and claimed he would drink alcohol under the influence of prescription pain pills. She went on to allege that Jeffrey would store liquor in their bedroom and would mix his drinks there during their marriage.
She said that his drinking affected the whole family and that his “intoxication provides their kids with a great deal of anxiety.”
While Lewandowski confirmed that Jeffrey was cleared by police when they were tipped off that he was allegedly driving under the influence, she said that bodycam footage indicated that her daughter told police that “she is uncomfortable with that idea (of going home with her father) because he is really mean to her.”
“She reports that she would be more comfortable having mom drive her home,” Lewandowski said of her daughter. “An officer asks Jaylen if her relationship with dad is not good right now, and our daughter responds that it never has been.”
While Jaelyn, Lenora, 11, and Jeffrey’s causes of death have not yet been confirmed, Lewandowski took to Facebook to claim that her kids felt “unsafe” with him before they died.

Rosie O’Donnell Recalls ‘Horrifying’ Cynthia Nixon Sex Scene
Rosie O’Donnell wasn’t banking on so much sex when she checked into the city for a cameo on And Just Like That.
The actress and comedian, 64, appeared as a nun who ends up losing her virginity to Cynthia Nixon’s Miranda Hobbes in the season 3 premiere of the Sex and the City spinoff. But according to O’Donnell, filming an intimate postcoital moment in bed together was “horrifying.”
“I was so nervous!” O’Donnell shared on the “Good Hang With Amy Poehler” podcast on Tuesday, August 11.
“First of all, I love her. I love her and have so much respect for her,” O’Donnell said of Nixon. “She called me and she was like, ‘Ro, Tufayel Ahmed Michael Patrick [King] wrote you a scene and it’s with me. Will you do it?’ I said, ‘Of course I’ll do it with you.’ And then I read it and I’m in bed with just the sheets and then I’m like, ‘Oh, my God.’”
O’Donnell continued, “I was nervous with Cynthia and then Michael said, ‘You guys can be a little bit more…’ and I was thinking, ‘I can’t, really!’”
“The kissing wasn’t hard, but the laying in bed and the wanting us to act like we had just done it … I’m a little immature when it comes to that,” she added.
In June 2025, Nixon, 60, revealed how her good friend’s And Just Like That cameo came about.
“Michael Patrick King, who writes our show and is one of the chief writers on our show, has been trying to write a part for Rosie every season, and it’s never quite worked out,” the Emmy winner told People. “So this time when he told me what the idea was, I thought, ‘Oh, this is fantastic,’ and he let me text her myself and describe it and say, you know, could we please send you this script? With all our fingers and toes crossed.”
“She is so funny and she is so funny in the part, but she’s so centered and so real,” Nixon said of O’Donnell’s performance in the episode. “I think that we knew she would be hilarious, but I think we were unprepared for how moving she would be in the part, how incredibly sincere and how much she would wear her heart on her sleeve.”
And Just Like That, which reunited Nixon, Sarah Jessica Parker (Carrie Bradshaw) and Kristin Davis (Charlotte York), aired for three seasons from 2021 to 2025.

‘The Dark Knight’s Greatest Line Wasn’t Written by Christopher Nolan, and It Still Bothers Him
It takes a special kind of canonical classic to feature a line of dialogue so memorable that anyone could identify what movie it comes from without any context. “You either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain,” uttered by Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart) in The Dark Knight, fits the bill. In what is likely to remain his culturally definitive and most popular movie, Christopher Nolan, for better or worse, changed the film landscape forever by making a superhero movie feel like an American epic about crime, justice, and society’s belief in costumed vigilantes as religious dogmas.
While often celebrated for his visual panache and as a groundbreaking pioneer of IMAX photography in narrative films, Nolan writes every one of his movies. However, his clunky and on-the-nose dialogue is a point of contention for many critics, but there’s no denying the power of Dent’s line in The Dark Knight. There’s one problem: Nolan didn’t write that line—it was his brother, Jonathan Nolan, and the director is still haunted by him stealing his thunder.
Jonathan Nolan Wrote ‘The Dark Knight’s Most Iconic Line
Christopher Nolan is a singular, uncompromising visionary, but Jonathan Nolan is frequently right by his side as a co-writer, contributing to the source material for Memento, and the scripts for The Prestige, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises, and Interstellar. It rounds out the family enterprise nature of Nolan’s filmography, as all his movies are produced by Christopher’s wife, Emma Thomas. Since their last collaboration, Jonathan has developed his own autonomous career as the creator of Person of Interest and Westworld on television, as well as producing and directing Prime Video’s Fallout.
No contribution will ever match the legacy of one line of dialogue in an early scene in The Dark Knight, where Harvey Dent, Rachel Dawes (Maggie Gyllenhaal), and Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) discuss the legality and morality of Batman’s existence as a vigilante crime-fighter roaming the streets of Gotham. For anyone in a position of power, whether a Caped Crusader or Gotham District Attorney, there are only two destinies: die with honor, or live in infamy.
In an interview with Nolan and his longtime collaborator and Oppenheimer star, Cillian Murphy, the director revealed that the “die a hero or live enough to see yourself become the villain” quote was actually coined by Jonathan Nolan. “I’m plagued by a line from The Dark Knight, and I’m plagued by it because I didn’t write it,” Nolan said, especially because the line was the one that “most resonates.” When Jonathan first conceived Dent’s line, Christopher admitted that he was puzzled by it, but the latter’s skepticism was proven wrong, expressing that it “kills” him that he can’t claim authorship of the line. “In this story, it’s absolutely that. Build them up, tear them down. It’s the way we treat people,” Nolan continued.
It’s easy to overlook him, but Jonathan Nolan’s understanding of genre mechanics and elaborate concepts, as demonstrated in his television shows, helped turn his brother into a commercial juggernaut with mass critical appeal. With films like The Prestige and Interstellar built around ornate ideas and executions, Christopher could’ve easily gotten lost in his own orbit, but Jonathan grounded these structures while maintaining their innate grandeur.
The Underlining Thematic Impact of This Famous Line from ‘The Dark Knight’
No one would think twice about who wrote the film’s most iconic line, as it feels very much in tune with Christopher Nolan’s style of dialogue. Characters in The Dark Knight, between Alfred (Michael Caine) analyzing the Joker’s (Heath Ledger) anarchic plan or the Joker himself sharing his philosophy on chaos, often sound like viewers and critics discussing the meaning of the film and its themes, which leads to a fair share of didactic moments where the message is conveyed with little subtlety, such as “Some men just want to watch the world burn,” and “This town deserves a better class of criminal.”
Complain about them all you want, but there is no denying the enduring, instantly recognizable magic of these lines. Nolan’s dialogue may not always be the most natural, but is that what we should expect from a movie about a billionaire dressed as a bat fighting crime? These lines, particularly when delivered with conviction by Eckhart, Caine, and Ledger, are poetic treatises about the mythos of superheroes and the disillusioned sentiment of America in a post-September 11th world.
Without Aaron Eckhart’s austere, earnest delivery, “You either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain,” would’ve been an awkward line. It is also saved by the fact that it is the succinct thesis of The Dark Knight and its central thematic figure in Harvey Dent, who secretly dies disgracefully but is remembered fondly by the city of Gotham.

‘Heated Rivalry’ Author Officially Breaks Silence on Season 2 Casting Backlash
Whether it’s the genius medical drama The Pitt, the utterly gripping The White Lotus, the video game adaptation The Last of Us, or Tim Robinson‘s brilliantly offbeat The Chair Company, HBO Max hosted some of the most indulgent streaming shows of 2025. At the end of the year, as the clock ticked closer to 2026, the streamer fired one more genius shot of must-watch television into the hearts of subscribers, courtesy of the steamy hockey drama, Heated Rivalry.
Based on the book series Game Changers by Rachel Reid, the series proved an enormous hit with viewers, as millions fell head over heels for the secret long-term relationship of rivals Shane and Ilya, portrayed by Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie. In the U.S., the series earned an average of 10.6 million viewers per episode on HBO Max, which then doubled following the December 26 finale. So popular was Heated Rivalry, which originally aired on Canadian streaming service Crave, that it became the most-watched scripted acquired series in HBO Max’s history.
Recently, fans finally got the announcement they’d been waiting for, as it was confirmed who would lead the second season of Heated Rivalry. Justice Smith and Charlie Gillespie will lead Season 2 as Troy Barrett, a hockey player who gets traded to Ottawa, and Harris Drover, the Ottawa team’s social media manager. The twists and turns of their romance will be based on the fifth book in the series, Role Model. Sadly, as with almost any announcement of this kind today, the decision has been met with backlash on social media, with author Reid having broken her silence.
Rachel Reid Defends the ‘Heated Rivalry’ Backlash
As mentioned previously, backlash of this kind is nothing new, something Reid alluded to in a new social media post. “Thinking about all the people last summer who told me the casting for Ilya and Shane was wrong and bad…” Reid wrote, accompanied by a side-eye selfie. Smith, who will star as Troy Barrett, also somewhat addressed the backlash, saying, “I am moved by the support and love I’m getting from fans in my dms, fans who have welcomed me with open arms and who already feel a responsibility to protect me.” He continued, “I am honoured to play a character that you all care about deeply and I promise that I will take good care of him if you give me the chance. I am beyond excited for the experience.”
The first season of Heated Rivalry is available on HBO Max. Stay tuned to Collider for more updates.

Why Julie Andrews Won’t Be in The Princess Diaries 3
Julie Andrews has explained why she won’t be reprising her role as Queen Clarrisse Renaldi in the forthcoming Princess Diaries 3.
“I think the story is slightly different, and I’m not quite sure how they’re dealing with that. But it’s too late for me to do it. I think the story has to continue in Princess Mia [played by Anne Hathaway]. It’s her story. It’s not really mine,” the Sound of Music star, 90, told Today.com in an article published on Tuesday, August 11.
Andrews’ comments come after Hathaway, 43, recently shared an update on the film’s production two years after the instalment was officially greenlit. “I can say I think we had a story breakthrough,” Hathaway said during a July appearance on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy. “I think we are moving in the right direction. The script that we were working on — we kind of had to start over with this new direction, which is not the update I think anybody wants, but we all feel really good that this is going to be the one.”
The Princess Diaries, released in August 2001, followed teenager Mia Thermopolis as she adapted to the life of a princess with help from her estranged grandmother, Queen Clarrisse, after learning of her royal blood. The subsequent Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement, released in 2004, saw Mia as a then 21-year-old preparing to take over the throne from her grandmother.
Andrews said in an interview with InStyle magazine, published on Monday, August 10, that she turned down the offer to pick up where the story left off. “I think I probably passed … I think I’m retired, really, would be about the best description for that,” Andrews told the outlet. “[The crew] asked me all last year if I would be keen to do it. It was very, very hard to say ‘no’ but I did because I thought I had a wonderful ride, and this one, I felt, would flourish very well and wouldn’t need Granny going in there at my age.”
Hathaway has publicly shared her fondness for Andrews in the past. In a 2022 interview with Entertainment Tonight, she said she was extremely keen to have Andrews be part of a third Princess Diaries chapter. “I would more than entertain it, I’m pulling for it,” the Odyssey star told the outlet at the time. “If there’s any way to get Julie Andrews involved, I think we would make it work. We would go to where she was and put a green screen behind her and just make it happen.”
Meg Cabot, who wrote the original Princess Diaries book series of which the film adaptations are based upon, teased in June that she had read the script for Princess Diaries 3 and liked it.
“I read a script, and it was amazing. I told them not to send anymore, because I love it so much,” Cabot, 59, said during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “They don’t like it when you tell people what’s gonna happen yet. So I was like, ‘Better not send me any more scripts!’”

Keke Palmer Subtly Hints At Sean Evans Drama With Cryptic Post
Is there already trouble in paradise for Keke Palmer and Sean Evans?
Months after reviving their years-long connection to pursue something romantic at the urging of fans, the “True Jackson, VP” alum shared a cryptic post, hinting at relationship troubles.
Palmer’s career, however, continues to follow an upward trajectory after she recently snagged a major hosting gig, adding more feathers to her cap.

Over the weekend, Palmer sent the internet into detective mode after sharing a cryptic post hinting at her dating life. In the Instagram carousel, the entertainer flaunted her toned midriff in a blue and white shirt, which she raised halfway, paired with denim shorts.
“I’m chill, but u shouldn’t be. I want the glamour, the romance and the fun. Pull out all the stops, experiences 1 of 1,” Palmer began in the accompanying caption.
She continued, expressing her desire for roses, perfumes, and gifts, before adding, “Fck the princess treatment, I’m a Queen hon.”
Concluding the chilling post, Palmer issued what sounded like a warning to her love interest, writing, “Done playing coy, for who and for what! I’m grown with a son, no time to watch you fail. If it don’t feel like heaven, boy go to hell.”
She signed off the upload, “disrespectfully.”
Fans Think Sean Evans ‘Fumbled’ Keke Palmer
Internet users wasted no time piecing together the post, suggesting it was a message to the “Hot Ones” host.
“This better not be about our man Sean,” one fan commented, while another asked, “Who the f-ck fumbled Keke?”
A third user shared a similar sentiment, wondering, “Hopefully this ain’t about the chicken man,” while this commenter insisted the message couldn’t be for Evans. “No, this can’t be about Sean; he is such a green flag,” they penned.
Many others praised Palmer for standing in her truth and choosing self-respect.
The ‘Nope’ Actress Enjoyed A ‘Genuine’ Connection With Evans

Although Palmer or Evans have yet to address the theories, the blistering post is a far cry from what the actress previously said about their bond.
As The Blast reported, during an appearance on “Today with Janna & Sheinelle,” Palmer gave an insight into how things were going with the YouTuber, addressing rumors that things were getting romantic.
“Our chemistry is genuine. I couldn’t force that if I tried. We always felt that chemistry from the first time we did the show,” the 32-year-old gushed, referring to their first contact on a 2023 episode of “Hot Ones.”
The Emmy winner, however, couldn’t help but address the intense interest fans had in their relationship, describing it as “crazy.”
Joking that the Internet was ready to marry her off to Evans, she quipped, “I was like, ‘Guys, let it cook!’ They married your girl off in two seconds.”
The Pair Revived Their Chemistry With An On-screen Kiss
The chatter around Evans and Palmer began around late May after for former appeared on her podcast, “Baby, This Is Keke Palmer.”
During the episode, the duo revisited their professional flirting encounters over the years, including their famous 2025 kiss and when Evans admitted Palmer was his “celebrity crush.”
Palmer and Evans even admitted to having similar feelings for each other, causing fans to spring into matchmaker mood, urging the pair to make it official.
They seemed to answer fans’ call, and Palmer and Evans were spotted on a cozy New York date weeks after the episode, according to The Blast.
Keke Palmer Lands Pioneering NBC Gig

Amid the chatter surrounding her love life, Palmer’s hosting skills earned her a major role in the NBC franchise.
As The Blast reported, the Nickelodeon alum was announced as the host of the first celebrity edition of “The Voice,” which also doubles as the 31st season.
The big news was shared on social media with a dramatic reveal that saw Palmer in an all-pink outfit as she confirmed her position with a viral challenge to the utter excitement of fans.
Palmer will join a star-studded team comprising Queen Latifah, Riley Green, and Joe Jonas, who will be the coaches/judges.

Bella Ramsey Calls Pedro Pascal Friendship Talk ‘Weird’
Bella Ramsey‘s friendship with Pedro Pascal on “The Last of Us” generated plenty of buzz among fans, but the 22-year-old actor can’t seem to understand the fuss about it.
In a recent interview, Ramsey, who identifies as non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, hinted that their relationship has changed and admitted it was “sort of weird to talk about it.”
They also discussed their sexuality, explaining that they’re not “100% straight,” and said they aren’t particularly bothered by being misgendered as long as people remain respectful.
Bella Ramsey suggested they and Pedro Pascal are no longer as close as they once appeared to be following the buzz they generated on “The Last of Us.” In a recent interview with The Guardian, the Emmy-nominated actor revealed that the pair are now “loosely in touch.”
Ramsey and Pascal’s relationship became a major talking point after the first installment of the hit series, in which his character, Joel, was tasked with escorting their character, Ellie, across the United States following the collapse of society caused by a mass fungal infection that turns its hosts into zombie-like creatures.
Pascal barely featured in Season 2, which saw the characters settle in Jackson, Wyoming, before Joel’s death. Reports claim Ramsey will also have a reduced presence in the upcoming Season 3 as the story shifts to Seattle and focuses heavily on Abby, played by Kaitlyn Dever.
Ramsey And Pascal Were Once Much Closer

Asked if they’re still in touch, Ramsey said, “Yeah. But, like, yes, loosely in touch, yeah. But it feels like an entirely separate thing.”
According to the news outlet, they appeared somewhat exhausted by the topic. “People get invested in the characters,” they added, seemingly weary of the fuss surrounding their relationship. “I’m not sure. It’s sort of weird to talk about it… Let’s move on to a different topic.”
The comments strike a different tone from last year, when Ramsey spoke about their “deep-rooted connection,” while Pascal referred to them as his “blessing.”
Last year, both stars attended HBO’s Emmy nominees’ event, where they reunited onstage. Ramsey later revealed what their text exchanges typically looked like. “Most of our texts consist of, ‘Where in the world are you? I’m here, are you there? Oh, we just missed each other,’” they said.
Bella Ramsey Previously Admitted They ‘Missed’ Pedro Pascal

Also at the event, the “Game of Thrones” actor opened up about how often they get questions about the “Materialists” star and praised him for his warmth.
“It’s, ‘How is Pedro Pascal? Is he as nice as he seems?’ That’s mostly what people ask me, and the answer is, ‘Yes,’” they told Variety.
In another interview with AP News, Ramsey explained that having less of Pascal around for Season 2 of the hit series was “sad,” adding that they missed him a lot.
“I love him very deeply and will forever, and so it was kind of sad to have less with him this season,” they said. Ramsey added, “I’ve definitely missed him, but I’m hoping that at some point down the line we’ll get to be together on set in a different dynamic, not as Ellie and Joel, but it’s sad — the idea that we might never be Ellie and Joel again.”
Ramsey Feels ‘Embarrassed’ About Buying A House At 22

Elsewhere in their chat with The Guardian, Ramsey touched on several other topics, including their upcoming projects, sexuality, and the guilt they feel about being able to buy a house at 22.
Ramsey, who has been working since they were 11, explained that their success makes them feel guilty about achieving milestones that would normally take much longer, such as owning a home.
“It feels very wrong! You’re not supposed to do that until you’re older,” they said. “I’ve done it a bit early. I started working when I was 11, and I’m now 22, so it’s been 10 years, and I guess people maybe start working when they’re 21 and then buy a house when they’re 31, so I don’t know.”
“Buying a house is impossible now, and it’s only because I ended up in this industry, that pays people too much money, that I’ve been able to do it,” they added. “It just feels like a glitch in the system. I feel so embarrassed by it.”
Bella Ramsey Gets Candid About Their Gender Identity

Ramsey has been open about their gender identity, telling The New York Times in 2023 that they would tick a box marked “non-binary” if asked. However, they admitted they weren’t prepared for how much of a talking point their revelation would become or the debate that would follow.
They said being “in the middle” was simply a “helpful descriptor” for them, but it soon became a widely debated issue that appeared to overwhelm them.
“I wasn’t aware of the impact of that, both positively and negatively. But I think the positive impact outweighs the negative, in terms of being visible or giving a name to an experience,” they said.
Ramsey revealed that people often see them and use “she” for them, but said they aren’t particularly hung up on pronouns. “It’s just not a big deal as long as you’re respectful, and I think if somebody does correct you, then you respect that and you try your best. And so, I’m pretty chill about it,” they said.

Jamie Lee Curtis Clarifies ‘Awful’ New Girl Filming Comments
Jamie Lee Curtis has clarified her comments on working as a guest star on the Fox sitcom New Girl.
“As if we don’t have bigger issues facing Americans and the world at large and natural disasters and unnatural behaviors of despots than to be concerned about a flip comment picked up at a press moment promoting Newlyweds [on] NBC,” Curtis, 67, wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, August 11, alongside a photo of herself on the set of New Girl with its star Zooey Deschanel and recurring star, the late Rob Reiner.
Curtis, who played Deschanel’s Jess Day’s mom, Joan Day, across multiple guest appearances on New Girl, continued, “I was there gushing about a multi-camera sitcom that I co-created along with Gail Lerner about a late-in-life love and people finding each other and marrying on a whim. It stars Tea Leoni and Tim Daly as the couple and we are having so much fun and the audiences are loving it and I was comparing how much I liked doing the show live in front of a studio audience, which is almost like doing a play where you get immediate feedback, to the experience of doing a single camera comedy like New Girl where there’s absolutely no feedback.”
The Bear star had addressed her New Girl experience during an NBC backlot experience staged in Los Angeles on Monday, August 10, describing her time on the show as like “doing a movie” where nobody reacts to performances. “It’s silent, and it’s awful, for me, awful,” she told fans at the event.
In her Instagram post, Curtis explained, “I said it wasn’t my favorite experience, although the show itself is fantastic and the team that made it are talented and … Zooey Deschanel is an absolute gem of a human and I said I got to play with my friend, Rob Reiner, as exes and that was sweet and lovely.”
She concluded the post, “Please, let’s not waste clicks and comments and just move on to WAY more important things. That will be all.”
Fans were quick to show their support for Curtis’ post, taking to the comments section to share clapping hand emojis and heart emojis in addition to messages. “I saw that and I completely understood where you were coming from. Multi-camera with an audience is a totally different experience than a single-camera comedy. You prefer the live feedback of an audience. I totally get that!” wrote one fan.
Another fan commented “Very clear to anyone who bothers to watch the whole clip.”
New Girl, a show about a quirky teacher who moves into a loft with three single men following a breakup, ran on ABC from September 2011 until May 2018 and starred Deschanel, 46, alongside Jake Johnson, Max Greenfield, Lamorne Morris and Hannah Simone. It later picked up a fresh legion of fans after streaming on Netflix.
