Jennifer Lopez just reminded Us why she’s one of the best-dressed women on the planet, and she did it while catching a flight. Lopez was spotted at the airport looking impossibly polished, wearing a chic green skirt paired with a crisp white button-up. No sweats, no leggings and definitely no jeans. A similar style is only $34 on Amazon, and it’s the easiest way to appear put-together from the airport to the Airbnb.
Some people might default to denim for an elevated travel outfit, but Lopez proved that a midi skirt look can be just as stylish and much more comfortable. Her shirt made her ensemble feel chic and timeless, but the green skirt stole the show, adding a pop of color that screamed ‘spring’ without trying too hard. Leave it to J.Lo to make the tarmac look like a runway.

This high-waist skirt is eerily similar to Lopez’s, featuring a cargo-style silhouette, an A-line shape and pleated detailing. It even has a built-in belt. The corduroy-like fabric adds a textured, elevated feel that plain cotton just can’t match.
Aesthetics aside, the waistband is also part of the draw. This skirt features an elasticized back, meaning it’s structured and slimming from the front while being secretly stretchy. For travel, this is everything. You can sit in a cramped economy seat for hours and actually breathe. The flexible construction moves with you.
For a long flight or hours spent in an office chair, stiff denim or a tight waistband can be annoying and uncomfortable. This skirt is a better alternative to jeans, and makes sense for both spring travel and day-to-day life. Best of all, this piece is universally flattering, sitting at the narrowest part of your waist and skimming over everything else. Talk about a box-checker!
Pair this wear-everywhere piece with a button-up like Lopez did, and you’ve got a chic travel look. Throw on a blazer and heels once you land, and you’re ready for dinner, while a fitted tee and sneakers make it ideal for sightseeing. One skirt, three completely different outfits. Shoppers rave about the elegant look, durability and belt for a sleek touch. They also love the rich color options. The green hue feels fresh for spring without losing its year-round versatility.
Lopez’s airport moment felt like a masterclass in less-is-more dressing. It’s proof that looking great while traveling doesn’t require a stylist or a designer budget — just a nice green skirt and the confidence to skip the jeans.

Brady Ebert, who exited the band in 2022, is accused of hitting lead singer Brendan Yates’ dad with his car after an argument on Sunday.
Jen Shah reached out “privately” to Mary Cosby to send her condolences after her son Robert Cosby Jr. died.
In a clip from her People interview that was posted via Instagram on Thursday, April 2, Shah, 52, said she reached out to her former Real Housewives of Salt Lake City costar, 53, following the tragic news.
“I did reach out to Mary. I privately reached out to Mary because I felt like that was the respectful thing to do,” Shah told the outlet. “ I sent her a card, you know, and just told her how deeply sorry that I was to hear about the passing of Robert Jr.”
Shah added that she told Mary that “she’s in my family’s prayers every day” after hearing the news.
“Even though, you know, I hadn’t talked to her for, obviously, a few years while I’ve been gone that I care about her, especially with right now, you know, what she’s going through,” Shah added. “I chose to reach out privately because I didn’t want it to be a distraction if I were to do it publicly.
Shah added that she was concerned that the focus might shift to be on her response to the news rather than the loss itself.
“I didn’t want it to become about me responding. I wanted it to remain about what Mary was going through and about her son and honoring his memory,” Shah explained.

Us Weekly confirmed on February 25, that Robert Jr. died at age 23 following a suspected overdose in his parents’ Utah home.
“Our beloved son Robert Jr. has been called home to the Lord,” Mary shared in a statement to Us. “Though our hearts ache, we take comfort in God’s promise and in knowing he is finally at peace. We are grateful for your prayers and trust in the Lord to carry us through this time of sorrow.”
Robert Jr.’s addiction battle was featured on RHOSLC throughout the past two seasons. Viewers often applauded Mary for her candid approach to opening up about her son’s struggles.
Meanwhile, Shah was released from Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas, on December 10, 2025.
Upon her release, Judge Sidney Stein also ordered Shah to serve five years of supervised release “to make sure you don’t end up committing another crime.”
Shah had been in custody since February 17, 2023, for her role in a long-running nationwide telemarketing fraud scheme.
In her first interview since her release, Shah explained to People on Wednesday, April 1, why she ultimately accepted wrongdoing and pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud in July 2022 after previously entering a not guilty plea.
“There were actual victims as a result of this conspiracy. I had never seen anything with my own eyes. That changed things for me,” she added. “I’m sorry. I’m accepting responsibility, and I’ve made it my mission to make sure that people are paid back.”
Wedding bells are ringing for Crystal Harris and her fiancé James Ward!
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, April 2, the former Playboy model, 39, teased the couple’s nuptials.
“Baby where the hell is my husband… probably waiting for me to walk down the aisle 🥹💍 Today is the day!!” Harris captioned the post.
The accompanying video showed Ward, 42, enthusiastically picking Harris up in his arms. Harris wore a casual white dress for the occasion, while the backdrop appeared to their wedding destination, the South Pacific’s Cook Islands. The words “wedding day” were also written in the video’s text.
Posting via her Instagram Stories the same day, Harris also showed a glimpse of the romantic spot they seemingly planned to exchange vows. A clip showed a beach with rocks strategically placed in a heart shape while a floral arch stood at the center, marking where the duo would likely say “I do.”
Harris also shared a video and photo of the happy couple brandishing wide grins on a boat ride. Harris appeared to be wearing her wedding dress for the journey, while groom Ward looked dapper all suited up.
Last month, Harris, who is the ex-wife of late Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner, shared that her wedding date was getting close.

“Less than two weeks until I marry my best friend. My adventure buddy, my protector, the person who gives me strength to take on the world 💪” she gushed via her Instagram on March 22.
She continued, “You are such an incredible human. You steady me, lift me, and remind me who I am on the days I forget. With you, life feels bigger, softer, and more meaningful all at once. I don’t just feel loved, I feel safe, seen, and unstoppable. I can’t wait to do this life with you 🤍”
Harris and Ward announced their engagement after one year of dating in May 2025.
“It truly feels like a full-circle moment. James completely surprised me. He had a hidden staircase and a winding trail cleared to reveal a handcrafted deck perched above a dramatic cliffside overlooking the ocean,” Harris exclusively told Us Weekly at the time. “It was the exact spot where we’d had a quiet picnic together a year ago — a place that became ‘ours.’ I had no idea he was secretly turning it into something permanent and symbolic. I thought we were just going for a walk, but when I saw the flowers, the handwritten notes, and the sea stretching endlessly in front of us, I knew something extraordinary was about to happen.”
Harris previously posted about the proposal via Instagram, writing in May 2025, “I said yes (of course) with my smile, my soul, my every cell—because loving you is the most natural thing I’ve ever done.”

As The Shade Room previously reported, the FBI raided Pooh Shiesty’s family home in Cordova, Tennessee, on Wednesday, April 1. At the time, the target of the search remained unclear. However, Pooh’s dad, Lontrell Williams, was taken into custody in Memphis, Tennessee, while Pooh was taken into custody in Dallas. To note, Pooh had reportedly been in a residential facility after being released from prison in October 2025.
Furthermore, it was revealed that Pooh, his dad, and seven others were taken into custody for kidnapping and robbing Gucci Mane and two others at gunpoint. During the incident, a victim was reportedly forced into signing a label release contract, and, allegedly, someone was even “choked to the point of near unconsciousness.”

A casual afternoon turned tragic for a Brooklyn family after a 7-month-old baby girl, Kaori Patterson-Moore, was fatally shot. Kaori was in her stroller in East Williamsburg on Wednesday, April 1, when a man on the back of a moped opened fire and ended up hitting her.
NBC News reports that 7-month-old Kaori Patterson-Moore was an unintended victim of an alleged gang-related shooting. Her parents were pushing her stroller on Wednesday afternoon when two men on a moped pulled up around 1 p.m., and the man on the back opened fire.
After the gunshot rang out, Kaori’s mom ran into a nearby bodega. CBS News obtained video footage showing her screaming in the corner of a store when she realized Kaori had been hit by a stray bullet in the head. Then her father grabbed her stroller and rushed out of the store to take her to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, doctors could not save Kaori, and she was pronounced dead roughly 25 minutes later, according to PEOPLE.
Per ABC News, police have the alleged shooter in custody, but they are still actively searching for the suspect who drove the moped. Authorities say they know the second suspect’s identity but have declined to release his name as the manhunt continues. The suspected gunman, 21-year-old Amuri Greene, will allegedly face charges of murder and two counts of attempted murder. He currently remains in the hospital with a broken leg, and his arraignment is pending.
CBS News spoke with Kaori’s parents after her tragic death. Her mom, Lianna Charles-Moore, said she’s heartbroken that she will never see her baby girl again. She added that Kaori had just learned her first word, “mama,” and now the family is planning her funeral.
“I can’t smell her, can’t kiss her. I can’t wake up and feed her her bottle. I can’t dress her. Everything I wanted to do with her, I can’t do with her anymore,” Lianna said.
Kaori’s grandmother, who’s a pastor, also reacted to the devastating tragedy. She called Kaori her little angel baby and pleaded for an end to gun violence.
“I tell everyone out there, gun violence is not the answer. It just keeps trickling down.” She continued, “It’s a baby. This is my little baby angel. She had nothing, she was innocent.”

Kendra Wilkinson‘s update on her weight loss journey came sprinkled with a jab.
The TV personality recently announced that she would be hopping on the GLP-1 trend to help her lose weight after facing several criticisms about her body. Being in the public eye has its cons, and high-level scrutiny ranks top on the list.
Kendra Wilkinson has been on the path of leading a healthy lifestyle. Last year, she shared her decision to get clean, putting alcohol behind her. Above all, the former reality TV star stresses self-love and acceptance through these journeys.

Wilkinson has updated fans that she has officially kick-started her GLP-1 journey. She shared the news on her social media, revealing her partnership with Effecty as her guide and healthcare provider as she embarks on the weight loss path. The TV personality added that she is very excited to work with the health brand and “unlike most people [she] is being honest with this journey.”
The seconds-long Instagram reel held a lengthy caption where Wilkinson gave more insight into the reason she decided to turn to medications in order to lose weight. She noted that it’s not just about the extra pounds, but about feeling better and trusting the process.
The media personality noted that she is being really intentional about going through this phase and is excited to keep fans in the loop with updates on her progress. Detailed in the caption, “The Girls Next Door” star revealed that her desire for something transparent, supportive, and realistic for her lifestyle prompted her decision to turn to GLP-1s.

The mixed fans’ reaction to Wilkinson’s video evidently showed up in over 500 comments left under the reel. Many fans wrote words of support and encouragement, applauding her honesty and transparency. Several commenters sent words of advice, detailing their personal experiences with GLP-1s, while some blatantly penned that, in their opinion, the TV personality does not need the medication.
“You don’t need it, you’re beautiful just the way you are,” one wrote. “Stay who you are. You don’t need GLP,” another added. Other commenters praised Wilkinson for choosing herself, noting that losing weight comes with other benefits like peace of mind and confidence.
While some fans questioned her decision, including her previous declarations of being happy with her body as she ages, others shut down the negative comments on her behalf. Some followers noted that Wilkinson had been influenced by the industry, writing, “Another one falls to the pressure of being a skeleton. Sad”

Last month, Wilkinson was put on the radar, with internet users calling her out on her appearance and weight. In response to the backlash, the real estate broker stressed that she was fine with her looks, including the weight gain and wrinkles that come along with aging.
She shared that living her best life and staying away from negative energy was her priority at the time. Wilkinson also addressed the critics about her outfits. She explained that her sense of style stems from her current career. “I think it represents me and what I’m doing nowadays to a T,” the TV star noted.
Two weeks after this incident, the 40-year-old announced that she was scheduled to begin her weight-loss journey with GLP-1s. The Blast reported that, according to the former reality TV star, working out consistently was not doing the job well enough for her. Her aim with the medication is not to be skinny but to balance out her weight and fit into her jeans.

Wilkinson’s relationship with the screens has not been smooth. She took a break from TV in 2017, sharing her intentions to focus on personal growth and a new career, but returned four years later. Her return to reality TV was marked with the real estate-focused docuseries “Kendra Sells Hollywood,” which aired for two seasons.
The former reality TV star kept up her career as a real estate broker for a few years before announcing in 2024 that she was parting ways with real estate. The 40-year-old revealed that the stress of the job had taken a toll on her mental health, and she wanted to prioritize her children.
In recent years, however, Wilkinson has returned to the real estate circle, and as shared by The Blast, her focus is now on her life as a realtor and a mother of two. She noted that being a mum and watching her kids grow has brought nothing but pure joy to her heart.

Before the weight loss and alcohol detoxification, the media personality had a serious battle with her mental health. In 2023, she was hospitalized after having a panic attack, which stemmed from depression. The battle was so fierce that the mom of two stopped eating, sleeping, and trying to live.
The Blast reported that what contributed to the negative thoughts was the end of her marriage to Hank Baskett, the ordeals of navigating life as a single mother, and her past being on set as a “Playboy” actress.
“I was hitting the end of my life, and I went into psychosis. I felt like I wasn’t strong enough to live anymore,” Wilkinson confessed in a previous interview. Over the years, the real estate broker has seen positive changes in her mental health as she admitted that she feels “good and mentally healthy.”
Things have been quiet on Pooh Shiesty’s front… at least publicly. But his mom, Gladys Baines, has been dropping posts that have fans reading between the lines. While no one’s spelling it out directly, the timing of her updates amid recent reports about the rapper and his father hitting legal trouble has left social media buzzing with speculation.
Amid reports of Pooh Shiesty and his father’s alleged arrest, Gladys Baines shared posts on Facebook on Wednesday and Thursday, prompting followers to decode her messages. On Wednesday, she wrote, “It’s power in the name Jesus…” Then, on Thursday, she made the post, “my ears ringing #keeptalking #blessingsonblessings” paired with tons of prayer hand emojis. Continuingly, she shared, “I been blocked you hating mf’s … #Amen”. Ultimately, the public has been piecing together whether these posts targeted critics, the legal situation, or both.
Y’all—the rapper’s mom ain’t the only one speaking up. On Thursday, YSL Woody hopped on Instagram looking shook, riding in his car and asking fans, “Help me understand this, y’all — please help me,” as he broke down the struggle of Pooh Shiesty coming home from the feds, dropping a “First Day Out,” and getting sent right back. Woody kept it real, saying pride and ego are the real enemies.
As previously reported, NBC 5 DFW claimed that in January, Pooh Shiesty and eight others, including his dad, Lontrell Williams Sr., allegedly pulled a brazen armed takeover during a Dallas meeting with three music industry pros. Sources say one victim was even forced to sign a contract at gunpoint. Meanwhile, the rest of the crew reportedly stole Rolexes, jewelry, and other valuables. A conspirator allegedly choked one victim nearly unconscious and reportedly barricaded the studio door to keep them trapped. Authorities also claim Pooh’s dad took part in the kidnapping, and the group even posted the stolen items on social media. Furthermore, reports have since revealed that Gucci Mane was one of the victims.
What Do You Think Roomies?
In the struggle of trying to find something decent to watch in the world of streaming, it’s better to acknowledge that some of the best shows premiered years ago. 2015 was still in the heyday of the Golden Age of television, which had some of the most innovative and relevant shows to hit the small screen. Prime Video had one of its best in the Philip K. Dick adaptation, The Man in the High Castle.
Airing for four seasons, the alternate history series envisions a terrifying reality of what would happen if the Nazis won World War II. Many alternate history shows revolve around this period, but The Man in the High Castle was specific and set a mirror to society. In the series, Nazis have taken control of the East Coast of the United States, creating The Great Reich. On the West Coast, Imperial Japan has set up its control. In the middle, there is a neutral zone where many rebels fight for a better world. Even ten years ago, The Man in the High Castle was significant, and since it started streaming on Netflix, it has become even more so.
No matter how much streaming content gets churned out, The Man in the High Castle still stands above the rest. While it differs from Philip K. Dick’s novel — as so many of his adaptations do — it was for the better. The Prime Video series updated the philosophical story to administer real-life consequences.
The series begins in 1962, when most of the United States has settled into a world of occupation. That is, until Juliana Crain (Alexa Davalos) receives a film strip showing the Allies winning World War II. Suddenly, her acceptance of this reality is shaken as she risks everything to discover who is making these films. The Man in the High Castle is a prime example of how to use source material to expand on an idea that makes it even better.
Dick’s book allows Juliana to consider the prospect that there are other realities than her own, but the Prime Video series goes the extra mile. Even before the perfect Andor, The Man in the High Castle makes an effort to show the price of rebellion. It follows through on Dick’s original idea and elevates it for a modern audience.
If The Man in the High Castle had come out today, it could be accused of being too on the nose, but that is exactly what makes it so great. When it initially premiered in 2015, it was a warning against fascism — a warning that modern politics has proven to be extremely necessary. More than that, it shows that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Throughout the series, Juliana maintains a level of hope that is rare. She believes that there is a better way forward and wants to create a reality that is not dominated by hate.
The Man in the High Castle continues to be incredibly topical for this reason. It isn’t just about the literal depictions of authoritarianism, but how optimism and belief in people are their own superpower. There is a reason why it’s doing extremely well on Netflix, over a decade after it first premiered. The Man in the High Castle is television done right and has risen above the white noise of a million different streaming services.
