John Oliver Lands General Hospital, Days of Our Lives Roles
John Oliver’s dreams of being a soap opera star are coming true!
The British comedian, 49, announced on the Sunday, June 28, episode of HBO’s Last Week Tonight that he has booked gigs on both General Hospital and Days of Our Lives.
In March, Oliver appealed for a cameo on ABC’s long-running daytime soap General Hospital after discovering that ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith has played the recurring role of Brick for the past decade.
“When John Oliver publicly threw down the gauntlet and said he wanted to appear on a soap, we didn’t hesitate for a second. He was everything you’d hope he’d be: prepared, professional, funny and genuinely kind to everyone on set,” General Hospital executive producer Frank Valentini said in a statement to Variety. “He plays an integral character in the story, and I can’t wait for fans to see who he crosses paths within Port Charles.”
“General Hospital was everything I hoped it would be. It’s a true honor to be a small stain on the history of this illustrious show,” Oliver quipped in a statement.
Oliver said on his show Sunday that he was “filled with scorching-hot jealousy” over Smith’s role on General Hospital.
“To be clear: Soap opera acting is not my Plan B,” the comedian said. “I simply offered my hypothetical acting abilities to any soap that would meet my terms, which were: I wanted to play a character with a ridiculous name, I wanted a juicy story line like murder or slapping and I wanted a dramatic close-up of my face.”
It seems both General Hospital and Days of Our Lives, the stalwart NBC/Peacock soap, answered Oliver’s call.
“I am happy to say that I’ve already taped a week of episodes on Days of Our Lives, which is clearly a huge honor,” he said. “It’s been home to some of the most renowned soap opera actors like Deidre Hall, Susan Seaforth Hayes and John Aniston. It’s also featured guest appearances from legends like Dick Van Dyke, Betty White and now me.”
Oliver will appear in three episodes of General Hospital airing July 2, 3 and 6. His Days of Our Lives episodes air on August 11, 12 and 14.
General Hospital first began airing in 1963 and follows the lives of the residents of the fictional city of Port Charles, New York.
Days of Our Lives, meanwhile, is set in the fictional city of Salem, Illinois, and premiered on NBC in 1965. In 2022, it moved to streaming service Peacock.

Milania Giudice Addresses Assault Arrest for the 1st Time
Teresa Giudice’s daughter Milania Giudice is speaking out about her arrest for the first time, shutting down rumors that her mugshot is going viral on social media.
“I have one thing to say, I’m going to save the rest for tomorrow. But that ‘mugshot’ of me, if you guys really believe. That’s AI,” Milania, 20, said in a TikTok video posted on Monday, June 29. “I ate down in my mugshot. I looked fire. I mean, nothing to be proud of.”
Milania’s video marked the first time she discussed her recent arrest, telling her followers that “s*** happens in life.”
“It is what it is, you gotta learn from it. Just become a better person and talk about it,” she added. “I just was not in a good area in my life. That happens, I’ve been through a lot in life and some other stuff happened to me.”

Milania continued, “Just because you guys think you know everything that happens in my life, you just really don’t.”
She reiterated that the mugshot was not real before concluding the video.
“I can’t believe you guys even believe that’s real,” Milania said. “But that’s all I have to say for tonight.”
@milaniagiudice321 peace and love
Us Weekly confirmed earlier this month that Milania was arrested in New Jersey’s Montville Township on May 14 following her involvement in an alleged domestic violence incident that took place in the early evening.
Chief Andrew Caggiano confirmed in a statement to Us on June 11 that Milania was charged “on a summons complaint with one count of Simple Assault.”
“She was released pending her next court appearance. A criminal complaint is merely an accusation,” he continued. “Despite this accusation, the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until she has been proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.”
An initial hearing was held on May 19, but no plea was entered. Further details regarding Milania’s arrest have not yet been revealed since the complaint was marked “confidential.”
Several photos of Milania, seemingly in police custody, have been shared by social media creators over the past few weeks. The images shared online are what the Bravo star called AI on Monday. Milania captioned her video with “peace and love,” hinting that she has more information to share.
The reality star made her Bravo debut in 2009 alongside her family when The Real Housewives of New Jersey premiered.
RHONJ OG Teresa, 54, shares Milania with ex-husband Joe Giudice. They are also the parents of daughters Gia, 25, Gabriella, 22, and Audriana, 16. Neither Teresa nor Joe have publicly addressed Milania’s arrest.

West Wilson Discusses Viral Video About Summer House Scandal
West Wilson is speaking out about the now-viral whiteboard video explaining his Summer House scandal with Amanda Batula.
“I, kind of, did it reluctantly,” West, 31, said during the Saturday, June 27, episode of his “Show Me Something” podcast. “I’ve been doing those for like three years, so we — this sounds so stupid — but we talked forever [before recording].”
West noted that The Broadcast Boys (influencers Lucas Brody and Nelson Vergara) “couldn’t skip” the drama because of their past whiteboard videos about the Summer House cast.
“We’ve made fun of so many people in so many shows that they have to do the Summer House, and I have to take my licks for that one,” he explained. “Basically, I just showed up and sat there and let them f***ing roast me. We recorded for two hours, and it’s a 25 minute cut or something.”

The two-part breakdown of West and Amanda’s Summer House drama went live via Instagram on Wednesday, June 24. At one point Lucas asked West if he “got Amanda’s permission” to film the whiteboard video.
“Yeah,” West replied. Lucas asked, “And she was worried?”
West responded, “Yeah, dude.”
West and Amanda, 34, confirmed in late March that they had begun a romantic relationship. While Amanda was previously married to Summer House costar Kyle Cooke, West dated Amanda’s best friend Ciara Miller.
The two have continued to face widespread public backlash for their relationship — especially after their actions during the season 10 reunion, which wrapped up earlier this month.
Us Weekly reported earlier this month that West would not be returning to Summer House in the wake of the drama.
“West isn’t coming back,” a source told Us. “He could still make an appearance on Summer House or In the City in the future, especially if things with Amanda progress, but he’s not a cast member this season.”
West initially discussed his exit from the show during Wednesday’s whiteboard video.
“In [Bravo’s] defense, I don’t think it would have been a fun summer,” he said. (An insider has since told Us that the decision was mutual between West and the network.)
West further discussed his decision to leave Summer House during Saturday’s episode of his own podcast.
“It’s been a f***ing journey. It was funny, but so we did it,” he said, talking about his decision to leave and recording the whiteboard video. “We’re taking a little time out. I’m not filming this summer, which I think ultimately [is] the right thing for everyone.”
West added, “Everyone can take a breather. It wouldn’t have been a fun summer for, literally, anyone.”

JaNa Craig Reacts to ‘Sexual Tension’ in Love Island Villa
Love Island USA alum JaNa Craig can feel the heat while watching the newest group of islanders search for love in Fiji.
“I think they are very passionate this season,” JaNa, 29, exclusively shared with Us Weekly while celebrating the 60th birthday of the 7-Eleven Slurpee drink. “I had to think back to my season. Like, were we doing all that? I can’t remember anyone dropping to splits every 30 seconds. I don’t remember, like, ‘What’s your favorite color?’ Kiss, kiss, kiss. ‘Where are you from?’ Kiss, kiss, kiss.”
During season 8 of the Peacock reality show, the contestants have made headlines for enjoying sexy time while coupled up. As for the splits, Kenzie Annis has the internet talking with her flexibility — especially during hot challenges.
“I can’t judge them. They’re a little bit on the younger end,” JaNa explained to Us. “They’re in the earlier 20s, so maybe they’re just really, really exploring, but the only thing that could separate them from all that sexual tension is literally a Slurpee.”
She continued while laughing, “If there’s a Slurpee in between them, you know, like social distancing, it would be a safer place. If you want to share saliva, share with the Slurpee. I’m just kidding.”
On Saturday, July 11, participating 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes stores nationwide will once again hand out free small Slurpee drinks to fans ready to enjoy the iconic frozen beverage, including a new Mountain Dew confetti chill Slurpee drink flavor.

JaNa Craig Courtesy of 7-Eleven, Inc.
“I literally grew up going to 7-Eleven after school almost every day,” JaNa recalled to Us. “There was a 7-Eleven across the street from my elementary, middle and high school, so it’s like a tradition after school to just go get a Slurpee and Hawaiian snacks, because I grew up in Hawaii.”
On Slurpee Day, select 7-Eleven and Speedway stores will also host a special Slurpee Date experience, featuring a unique photo-op bench and limited-edition, bedazzled Slurpee “S” double straws.
While JaNa was recently spotted grabbing a Slurpee drink with a mystery man at a local 7-Eleven, the reality star is staying mum on her dating life.
“The only thing I want to address is, whoever you think it is, it’s not,” she told Us. “I want to keep the love life as low key as possible, and that’s why I make everyone that I’m out with wear shades and a hat.”

JaNa Craig Alex Free
Two years after appearing on Love Island USA, JaNa said she doesn’t have an interest in doing another dating show on TV. While she’s open to going on The Traitors if her former costar Rob Rausch can “train me,” she has her eyes set on scripted projects in both movies and TV.
As for all the fans who say her season of Love Island USA with Kaylor Martin, Leah Kateb, Serena Page and more was superior, she appreciates the flattery but promises every cast is doing its own great thing.
“I get that people compare. I guess it’s natural because we’re all from the same world, but respectfully, humbly, I don’t think there will ever be a season six like us,” JaNa proclaimed. “Each and every one of us was so unique. We all had our own story, our own moment. But the other seasons, I think they’re doing good, I think the only way a new season could beat us is if they had Slurpees in the kitchen.”
New episodes of Love Island USA are released six days a week — except for Wednesdays — on Peacock at 9 p.m. ET.

Teresa Giudice’s Daughter, Milania, Breaks Silence on Arrest
Milania Giudice, daughter of “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice, was arrested for simple assault in May of this year, with the information making its way to the press the following month. Now, the 20-year-old is breaking her silence, specifically to debunk her rumored mugshot.

Giudice took to her official TikTok on June 28 to address a mugshot of herself that has circulated on various social media platforms. She did so by posting a video of herself to the platform, in which she can be seen in a dimly lit room while wearing a hite robe.
The college student began, “I have one thing to say,” before teasing that she would “save the rest” for a later date. According to her, “But that mugshot of me, you guys really believe… that’s AI. I ate down in my mugshot. I looked fire.”
After that, she admitted that being arrested was “nothing to be proud of.” She added, “I mean, it is what it is. Sh-t happens in life.”
Milania Says She Wasn’t In A Good Place In Her Life

Giudice’s video continued as she acknowledged that she needs to learn from the mistakes that led to her May 2026 arrest. She reflected on the unfortunate event, saying, “I was just not in a good area in my life, and you know what, that happens.”
Giudice continued, “I’ve been through a lot in life, and some other stuff happened to me. Just because you guys think you know everything that happens in my life, you just really don’t.”
Toward the end of the clip, she returned her attention to the mugshot, expressing disbelief that her followers would believe it was real.
Fans Are Rallying Around Milania

Since her arrest became public knowledge, there has been widespread conjecture about the incident that led to her being apprehended by the police. However, following her most recent comments, the 20-year-old received a ton of support, with many reminding her that it’s okay for her family’s business to remain private.
One person wrote, “You don’t owe anyone an explanation, babe. We ALL make mistakes; they do NOT define you. You have been through so much, and what people see probably isn’t even close to half of it, and that’s ok; it should be private. You are beautiful inside and out. This will only make you stronger!”
Another of Giudice’s followers wrote, “You really ain’t gotta explain sh!t to no one !! Your real fans are gonna stick by you no matter what!! Praying for peace & prosperity in your life, queen.”
Details About The Arrest Are Still Scarce

Currently, it’s still unclear who was on the receiving end of Giudice’s alleged assault. However, what we do know is that, according to court documents obtained by TMZ, the University of Tampa student was arrested on May 14. This happened in Montville Township Municipal Court, and she was charged with simple assault for purposely or knowingly causing bodily harm.
Her case is currently categorized as domestic violence/confidential. There are currently no details about the situation that led to Giudice’s arrest. However, it should be noted that many of the rumors about the altercation say that her stepfather, Luis Ruelas, was on the receiving end of the attack.
Perhaps to debunk the rumblings, Giudice took to social media in June to wish Ruelas a happy Father’s Day. She said on Instagram, “Happy Father’s Day Louie. You are the best stepdad anyone can ask for. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you do for us. I love you and your entire family so much, and thank you for giving me two brothers that I adore! You deserve the world.”
Teresa Giudice Is Currently Filming ‘RHONJ’

So far, Teresa has maintained her silence on Milania’s arrest. However, production on season 15 of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” is currently underway. Because of this, it seems likely she and her family will address what took place in May.
As fans know, season 15 will serve as a soft reboot for the long-running Bravo series. In addition to Teresa, the only returning cast members are Melissa Gorga and Dolores Catania. The season is expected to air in early 2027.

Inside Sam Hunt’s Rocky Marriage & Country Music Disappearance
It’s been more than six years since Sam Hunt released “Southside,” and country music fans are beginning to wonder when (or if) the singer plans to return in a major way. Despite remaining one of the genre’s most-streamed artists, Hunt has largely stepped away from the spotlight in recent years. His last single, “Liberty,” arrived in November 2024, while a full-length album has yet to materialize. The absence has become increasingly noticeable in Nashville, where many industry insiders still view Sam Hunt as one of the genre’s most influential artists.

According to insiders who spoke with the Daily Mail, Hunt’s quieter public profile is less about music and more about life at home with wife Hannah Fowler and their three children.
“He is a homebody and loves his family, his farm, but he also loves music. It’s been a long-time point of contention that those two things clash for Hannah,” one insider said. “The label got an EP and some singles out of him recently, but touring heavily is probably not on the table for right now.”
Hunt has offered occasional glimpses into that slower lifestyle through social media, sharing photos of hunting trips, fishing excursions, and family moments away from the stage.
The Couple’s Relationship Has Faced Public Challenges

The reported shift comes after several turbulent years in Hunt and Fowler’s relationship. The couple married in 2017 after nearly a decade of an on-again, off-again romance that inspired much of Hunt’s music, including songs on his debut album, “Montevallo,” which was named after Fowler’s hometown.
In 2022, Fowler briefly filed for divorce, citing “inappropriate marital conduct.” The split never moved forward, however, and the pair ultimately reconciled before welcoming their first child together later that year. Together, they now have three children. Sources claim those experiences changed the way the couple viewed Hunt’s career.
“Sam is literally one of the nicest humans in country music,” another insider told the outlet. “Unfortunately, he’s in love with someone who has basically made it clear that if he loves her and wants her, he needs to take a step back from the music and touring and focus on her.”
Past Legal Troubles Also Put Pressure On The Family

Hunt has also faced legal issues during his marriage that attracted significant public attention. In 2019, the singer was arrested for DUI in Nashville after police reported seeing him driving erratically. “It happened,” Hunt said in an interview with HITS Daily Double at the time. “People in my camp were talking about suppressing it, but why would I be afraid to talk about it? If it happens, it’s true.”
He later pleaded guilty and received a suspended sentence, lost his license for a year, and was required to complete an alcohol safety program. “Moderation is important. I’ve never wanted to glorify it,” he added. “It’s a cheap trick in country music, and I’ve always wanted to avoid that. I don’t like using [drinking] as a party song; for me, that wouldn’t be honest. I’ve never been the guy who shotguns a beer. I know people who partake that way, and I wouldn’t want to shake my finger or look down on them.”
A later Tennessee arrest involving speeding and an ignition interlock device violation also generated headlines, though Hunt ultimately did not face charges. “Sam’s wife had to deal with him getting caught driving drunk,” one industry insider said. “So would you want your husband to ever do anything again?”
Country Music Executives Say The Genre Is Missing Sam Hunt

Even with his reduced public presence, many within country music still believe Hunt’s influence can be felt throughout the industry. “What’s missing from the genre right now? It’s Sam Hunt in a significant way. If Sam Hunt walked in right now and did the exact thing he did ten years ago, he would save country music,” a second insider said.
Another industry source credited Hunt with helping reshape how country artists connect with fans online. “Sam started the whole content Golden Age,” the source said. “He was the first person in Country that was making highly-produced content that was strictly for social media and documenting touring in a big way.”
Will Sam Hunt Release New Music Soon?

Recent social media activity briefly sparked speculation that new music could finally be on the horizon. A Father’s Day post featuring the caption, “Blackberries growing on the property line, staining little hands that look like mine,” led some fans to wonder if Hunt was teasing lyrics from an upcoming song.
However, at least one industry executive told the Daily Mail that there are currently no signs of a major project being imminent. “He’s taken a back step,” the source said. “He’s taking time to focus on his family. I haven’t heard of anything imminent, but he’s the kind of artist that could surprise us with something at any moment.”
For now, fans hoping for a new Sam Hunt era may have to keep waiting.

If you’ve ever wondered what “balance your hormones” actually means, you’re definitely not alone. Many supplements promise to support hormonal health without explaining which hormones they’re targeting. Alori’s Balanced Baddie Bundle is refreshingly different. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, the bundle supports two distinct hormonal concerns with targeted formulas.
The bundle includes Not Today, Estrogen, which supports healthy estrogen metabolism, and Cortisol, Who?, which supports a healthy response to everyday stress. Together, they offer more personalized hormone support. Shoppers who want to focus on one concern can also purchase each supplement individually.
Get the Balanced Baddie Bundle at Alori!
The idea behind the bundle is surprisingly simple: not every hormone has the same job, so not every supplement should either. Instead of combining dozens of ingredients into one catch-all formula, Alori developed targeted supplements. It’s a thoughtful approach that feels especially helpful for women navigating changing moods, stressful seasons or the ups and downs of their monthly cycles.
Women looking for more comprehensive support can take both formulas together, while those focused on a specific concern can choose Not Today, Estrogen for estrogen support or Cortisol, Who? for stress support and build a routine that works for their individual needs. All of the ingredients are clinically studied and third-party tested. No fillers, no nonsense — just targeted support for your hormones.
Reviewers say the personalized approach has made a noticeable difference. “The Balanced Baddie Bundle has honestly been such a game changer for me,” wrote one five-star reviewer. “Within a couple weeks I noticed less bloating, fewer mood swings, and way more emotional stability during my luteal phase. I feel calmer, clearer, and more like myself throughout the month instead of constantly feeling ‘off.’”
“It was gradual, but I’ve definitely noticed that I’m less stressed out and it’s not even that I’m just less stressed out, it’s that I’m able to then show up for everyone around me,” added another.
If you’ve been frustrated by supplements that deliver vague promises of balanced hormones, Alori’s more personalized approach may be worth exploring. Whether you choose the Balanced Baddie Bundle or start with Not Today, Estrogen or Cortisol, Who?, the brand makes it easy to support the areas that matter most to you.

‘Back to the Future’ Is Officially Getting a New Release in 2026
It’s almost impossible to imagine Back to the Future as anything other than the lightning-in-a-bottle blockbuster we all know now. So much of it is iconic. The DeLorean, the clock tower, “Great Scott,” everything being heavy — is there some sort of problem with the Earth’s gravitational pull in the future? — it all fits together too perfectly. The road to getting it on screen wasn’t the easiest, but it was well worth it, spawning an epic franchise and a brand name that will outlive us all. Now, we’re about to get even more of it.
Co-creator Bob Gale is opening up the franchise’s archive for Back to the Future: The Complete Screenplay, a new book arriving later this year to mark the movie’s 40th anniversary. The release reproduces Gale’s personal shooting script, complete with revision pages, handwritten notes, deleted scenes, rare photos, sketches, production documents, and a treasure trove of gems for BTTF diehards like ourselves.
“This is going to be really instructional about how movies are made, how scripts are written,” Gale said in a new interview. “The mistakes are in there, the deleted scenes are in there, the stuff that we changed, stuff that we thought we were going to do that we didn’t do. It’s chock full of stuff like that.”
Among the biggest reveals is that Jeff Goldblum was seriously considered for Doc Brown before Christopher Lloyd landed the role. Gale said the casting was close, adding that viewers can get a sense of what Goldblum’s version may have felt like by watching him in Jurassic Park.
“Jeff Goldblum came in. We loved Jeff. He was great. And it was close [between him and Christopher Lloyd]. Ironically, Jeff Goldblum plays Doc Brown in Jurassic Park, right? That’s how his Doc Brown would have been. You can watch Jurassic Park and say, ‘Ah, that’s how Jeff would have played it.’”
Will there be a ‘Back to the Future’ Sequel?
For anyone hoping the book is a sign that another sequel is on the way, Gale was very clear. He and Robert Zemeckis are not interested in making Back to the Future Part IV, particularly without Fox as Marty. Good.
“The most important one is: who wants to see a Back to the Future movie without Michael J. Fox? Nobody wants to see that. And he can’t do it. And do we even want to see Marty McFly at age 60? We don’t want to see that, either. So, let’s leave well enough alone.”
The standard edition of Back to the Future: The Complete Screenplay arrives October 20, timed to Back to the Future Day, with collector’s and limited editions also available through Insight Editions.
