Kandi Burruss Slams Todd Tucker Over Intimate Comments

Roomies, Kandi Burruss is making it clear that there are some parts of her former marriage to Todd Tucker that she believes should have stayed behind closed doors. The singer and reality star is now speaking out after Tucker publicly discussed intimate details from their 11-year marriage.

Kandi Basically Said, “Play With Somebody Else!”

In a statement to PEOPLE, Kandi said Tucker’s recent actions have only reinforced her decision to end their marriage.

“A man who has already hurt me to my core is furthering the damage by choosing to sensationalize our sex life to stretch his five minutes of fame,” Burruss shared. “What consensually happens between a husband and wife in the privacy of their marriage is exactly that—private. His current behavior has only confirmed that I did the right thing by getting divorced. I Do, I Did, I’m Done!”

How Did We Get Here?

Tucker recently dropped the trailer for the film, where he opened up about his relationship with Kandi and made a candid revelation about their sex life. In the trailer, Tucker was asked about whether the former couple had threesomes during their marriage. “We did. I would say for most of our marriage we did,” Tucker said. The comments caught attention online, prompting Kandi to address what she describes as a decision to publicly sensationalize something that was once private between husband and wife.

Meanwhile, Roomies wasted no time running to TSR’s Instagram comment section and running it UP with their thoughts on the situation. Some folks pointed out that Kandi has previously spoken about the couple’s intimate life publicly, while others argued that Todd was also part of the marriage and has the right to share his own experiences, with some saying women should be careful about building up a man only to later deal with the fallout after the relationship ends.
