Lala Kent Claims Garcelle Beauvais Quit RHOBH After Reunion Drama and Couldn’t Handle the Heat!
Garcelle Beauvais’ recent decision to leave The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has sparked plenty of reactions — and now, Vanderpump Rules alum Lala Kent is weighing in with her unfiltered opinion.
During a recent episode of her Give Them Lala podcast, Lala shared her take on Garcelle’s sudden departure from the Bravo hit, suggesting it may have had more to do with how things played out at the Season 14 reunion than what was said in her official announcement.
“I don’t think Garcelle has been preparing to quit for a long time,” Lala said. “She said, ‘My hope is that we all get a cast photo.’”
Referring to what RHOBH viewers have seen and what Erika Jayne revealed on Watch What Happens Live, Lala continued, “Cut to what we know now — Erika says Garcelle decides to abort mission and doesn’t get a picture with the cast at the end of the reunion.
So even though Garcelle said, ‘I want to focus on my kids,’ I’m sure she went home and thought about it. But ultimately, I think for the first time, Garcelle was put on blast, and she could not handle the heat in the kitchen — so she got the f*** out.”
Garcelle, who joined RHOBH in 2020, announced her exit on March 25 via Instagram, citing her desire to focus on family and other career projects.
However, her departure followed a fiery reunion in which she was confronted about comments she made concerning Dorit Kemsley’s home robbery — a tense moment that caught Garcelle visibly off guard.
While fans initially believed Sutton Stracke would bear the brunt of criticism at the reunion, Garcelle unexpectedly found herself in the spotlight — and according to Lala, that shift may have been the breaking point.
New episodes of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills air Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
