Aquino subsequently shared a lengthy tribute post via his own Instagram account reflecting on the loss.

“I will miss you so much my dear friend. We were just sitting in our living room talking about a future of love that you deserved, while Phil and I gave you a hug to cheer you up reminding you that we were your family,” Aquino wrote. “I didn’t know that was going to be our last hug, because I would’ve held on tighter to make sure you wouldn’t leave. You always had so much love to give and you did so much to learn how to love others well.”

The post continued, “I wish so much that our words of love to you would’ve saved you, but I hope you find peace in your heart and soul amongst the stars and that you shine as brightly in the afterlife as you did when you were with us.”

Aquino honored the role Hardin played in his life, adding, “I’ll forever be grateful of the lessons of self-love you taught me. You were a friend that brought out a light in me I never knew existed. Burlesque performer Asura, who described themselves as Hardin’s “best friend,” also commented on Hardin’s post.

“His roommates broke down his door and called paramedics but unfortunately it was far too late to resuscitate him,” Asura wrote. “Lulu has sadly passed away and I’m so truly sorry to anyone that knew him. 💔.”

In an interview with Out Sports in March 2025, Hardin explained why he had switched from playing football to performing burlesque.

“It allows me to identify my femininity with my masculinity. There’s a lot of musculature to what I do. I’m oiled up, but I let myself express my femininity as well. It feels authentic and reflects the journey I saw for myself when I was younger,” he said. He added, “I’ve dealt with a lot of depression in my life, and sports was relief from that. The gym, practice — I’ll always be a fan because of that.”

Beyond the Gates: Heather’s SNEAKY Plot to PIN Smitty?!

Published

on

Beyond the Gates: Heather Armstrong (Ashley Jones) - Bradley "Smitty" Smith (Mike Manning)

Beyond the Gates considers Heather Armstrong (Ashley Jones) could potentially leave Bradley “Smitty” Smith (Mike Manning)’s life in ruins, starting with putting him in a bright orange jumpsuit and changing his address to the local state prison. Smitty may be setting up to take the fall for Lia Whitmore (Cecelia Specht)’s tragic death.

Beyond the Gates: Ashley Targets Matin Too

This could be not only to take down Smitty. But also to destroy the political career of his husband, Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon). And of course, Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) is not going to sit by and watch Heather destroy more lives with violence. But this isn’t violence. And it may be too late once Joey even starts to realize that she’s targeting Smitty in this different way.

Because let’s face it, Joey already knows that Heather came to town with a chip on her shoulder about Smitty. He got all those kudos for writing about her plasma ring and that played a big role in getting Heather’s red market ring in San Francisco shut down. That happened recently. And Smitty is still writing articles because he’s determined to expose the identity of the Impaler. So, of course, Heather is livid over this and she wants to stop Smitty and make sure it doesn’t happen again.

Heather already had Lia killed to send a message to anybody else involved with the red market ring. Heather’s message was clear. Keep your mouth shut or this could happen to you. But Smitty’s not going to give up and his investigation could force Heather to do something desperate. So, Smitty’s already gotten two of Heather’s operations shut down and Smitty may do it again.

Heather’s Gotta Play it Smart on BTG

More of them may be on the risk of teetering. So, the psycho in Heather is going to surface and she wants to silence Smitty before she loses more of her illegal but very profitable enterprises. And it can’t be just any plan. Heather has to make sure that she has clean hands when she takes down Smitty because let’s face it, if not, Heather would have already just killed Smitty.

But her biggest roadblock is, of course, her brother Joey. Heather doesn’t want to alienate her brother, and another high-profile death in the DMV would likely do that. But Smitty holds Heather’s future in his hands. So every word Smitty writes about the plasma ring, it brings Heather closer to financial ruin and possibly getting busted. So, obviously she’s angry.

Beyond the Gates: Smitty’s Life on the Line

Unfortunately, Heather promised her brother Joey that Lia’s death was a one and one and said she wouldn’t spill any more blood in the DMV. But Heather could get creative and try to kill Smitty in a car accident, something that she can’t be blamed for. And in fact, Heather might have even gotten inspiration for this by pulling a page out of Joey’s playbook and the way he dealt with Doug McBride (Jason Graham). So Heather could arrange for somebody to cut Smitty’s brake lines. And just like with Doug, a fiery crash could kill Smitty.

That would work out great for Heather. But it puts a lot of chance to it because Smitty could survive. And of course, he’s smart enough to realize if his brake lines were cut, the Impaler may be targeting him. Then Smitty might double down on finding out the Impaler’s identity. That could prove even riskier for Heather, especially because her alias being discovered would be disastrous. And there’s no way that Joey would accept that Smitty’s death or car accident was actually an accident.

Joey on to Heather on BTG

It would be way too much of a coincidence for Joey, even if Heather was with Joey at the time of Smitty’s so-called accident. And if Heather harms Smitty, she knows that would infuriate Joey and there’s no telling how her brother would react. At a minimum, he’d probably sever ties with Heather, and that might hurt her because despite being a psycho, she does seem to legit love Joey.

But Heather’s main reason for being in the DMV isn’t to spend time hanging out with her brother Joey. Because we know that Heather wants into Joey’s business, and she also really wants back into Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman)’s bed.

And of course, the primary reason she came was to tie up all those loose ends from the red market ring blowing up in the DMV. Plus, Smitty might not back down, even if he thinks the Impaler is targeting him. And in fact, he may double down. But if Heather goes after Samantha Richardson (Najah Jackson) and Tyrell Richardson (Jaden Lucas Miller) instead, well, that might have Smitty rethinking his approach. If Heather threatens Samantha and Tyrell, it might actually get Smitty to back down off the Impaler.

Beyond the Gates: Nicole Warns Joey

But since Nicole Dupree Richardson (Daphnee Duplaix) just raged at Joey and said to keep Heather away from Samantha and Tyrell, I think if Joey heard the kids were threatened, he would know that Heather was behind it. You have got to wonder if Beyond the Gates is dropping red flags about what is coming.

Heather talking to Samantha Tyrell seemed very much planned and not a coincidence. So, it’d be a good place for Heather to snap a photo of Tyrell and Samantha for a possible new plan. You know, if Heather got a picture of them, she could send it from a new burner phone and taunt Smitty and pretend, well, she actually is the Impaler. But text as the Impaler and directly threaten Samantha and Tyrell’s safety with a nasty text. So, Heather could even threaten all of Smitty’s happy little family and says, “You better stop your investigation.” and that might actually stop the journalist in his tracks.

Or it could just make Smitty more determined to find out the identity of the Impaler and they just bring in more security. And this could have Martin and Smitty butting heads because Smitty may not want to drop the investigation.

But Martin may insist Smitty has to walk away to keep the family safe. But he’s a good investigative journalist and Smitty is on a mission to uncover the truth. So this whole thing with Heather could rock his household to the core in another way that would stop Smitty in his tracks.

Beyond the Gates: Heather Has Help from the Inside

They kind of handed it out a little bit as a hint when Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) showed up to interrogate Smitty. Jacob was asking Smitty all kinds of questions about Lia’s death. And since Smitty was the last person from outside the prison to see Lia alive, the cops were very interested to hear what Smitty had to say. And I’m guessing that Heather has contacts not only inside the prison. But also inside the police department.

So, Heather may know that Elon Hawthorne (Malachi Malik) was having Jacob question Smitty. And Heather may think, why not put Smitty behind bars and let him spend the rest of his life in prison since he’s trying to do that to her. You know, Heather may think, I will frame him as the person who killed Lia.

And that would ruin Smitty’s credibility. And then the cops would stop looking for the Impaler as a possible culprit in Lia’s death. This should be easy for Heather because she has somebody inside the prison walls who killed Lia on her commands. It may be an inmate, maybe a corrupt prison employee. But somebody ended Lia’s life with an overdose and then staged it to look like suicide.

Beyond the Gates: Smitty in Lehal Trouble

So Heather could tap that source again and have them make a statement. They saw Smitty give something to Lia, like a packet of pills. They could even have a witness say they overheard Lia saying that Smitty threatened her if she didn’t give up more information about the Impaler and that he said, “You’re either going to come clean to me or take these pills because I won’t stop.” You know, something like that. That way, Smitty could wind up in prison and that would have his journalistic reputation in shreds and it would put an end to his coverage on the Impaler.

And since Heather wants to silence Smitty, you know, she’s got several options in front of her. But framing Smitty as Lia’s killer would ruin Smitty’s life and it would silence him. And most importantly, it would keep Heather in Joey’s good graces because he told Heather, “Don’t kill Smitty.” And Joey also told her, “We don’t target kids. But if Heather frames Smitty for Lia’s death, then she’ll neutralize him and stay within Joey’s guidelines.

Spice Girls Fans’ 30th Anniversary Hopes Dashed

Five women in sparkly outfits with arms raised on stage during a performance

The Spice Girls are celebrating a major milestone this year, as 2026 marks the 30th anniversary of the release of their debut album, “Spice.” For years, fans have been clamoring for the iconic girl group to reunite, making the milestone an especially exciting occasion. After the group teased something special, however, the eventual announcement left some fans wishing for more.

The Spice Girls, made up of Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice), Mel B (Scary Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), Mel C (Sporty Spice), and Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), went their separate ways in 2001. Although they have reunited for a few performances over the years, fans have continued hoping for a full-scale tour featuring all five members.

The group released their debut album “Spice,” which included hits such as “Wannabe,” “2 Become 1,” and “Say You’ll Be There,” 30 years ago this year, and on September 9, the Spice Girls teased a surprise for fans on Instagram.

In the short clip, the camera zoomed in on a newspaper with a wanted ad that reads, “R U A SPICE GIRLS FAN WITH THE ABILITY TO SING & DANCE? R U A SUPERFAN, A COLLECTOR, A MUSIC LOVER?” The post’s caption noted that the surprise will be revealed on September 10 at 2 p.m. BST.

Fans expressed excitement in the comments, with many hoping the Spice Girls will announce a tour. “If it’s a world tour, I’m selling my house to buy tix,” one fan wrote.

The Spice Girls Celebrate 30 Years With A Box Set

On September 10, the Spice Girls announced The Singles Collection, a special edition set that includes 14 CDs with 160 tracks. Fans can listen to all original singles, B-sides, remixes, and bonus tracks, as well as unreleased demos.

Also included are collectible art cards, a 32-page booklet with messages from the Spice Girls, and a 30th anniversary acrylic charm. The set, which will be available for purchase on November 6, comes in a holographic handbag box and will sell for £94.99.

The Announcement Dashed Fans’ High Hopes

While fans were grateful for the surprise, many shared their disappointment that there won’t be a Spice Girls reunion tour, with one noting that the announcement “could have been an email.”

“Will purchase all of this but also ready for a tour ladies,” one fan wrote. “What a waste of excitement,” another said, adding a crying emoji. “I’ll tell you what I want! What I really really want… A TOUR WITH ALL 5!!!,” another exclaimed. “I hear the millennial sigh of devastation from across the world,” another noted.

Apart from a reunion tour, fans have also been asking for the Spice Girls movie, “Spice World,” to be made available on streaming platforms. It isn’t on streaming libraries due to copyright issues, but in June, Mel C said it will be “streaming somewhere soon,” giving fans at least one reason to be hopeful.

Why A Spice Girls Reunion Isn’t Happening Soon

For years, some members of the girl group have hinted at the possibility of a reunion tour, but in March, Mel C confirmed that it was not happening.

Sporty Spice said that she was in constant communication with the other women, and they want to do something special, but they “failed to reach an agreement,” as previously reported by The Blast.

Mel B shed more light on the decision, explaining that it was difficult to get all five members together since they are working on their own projects and are also busy with their personal lives.

However, Mel C and Mel B aren’t closing their doors on the possibility and remain hopeful that all five of them can reunite on a stage in the future.

The Spice Girls Remain Close Friends

The last time all five Spice Girls performed together in an official capacity was at the 2012 London Olympics closing ceremony, where they sang a medley of “Wannabe” and “Spice Up Your Life.”

Despite no longer working together professionally, all five remain close friends and have had private reunions over the years, some of which have been shared on social media. In 2024, all the Spice Girls attended Victoria’s 50th birthday celebration, and David Beckham captured them on video singing and dancing “Stop” in front of guests.

In July, three of the Spice Girls attended Mel C’s wedding. Victoria was absent due to the FIFA World Cup, but the bride revealed that Posh Spice designed her wedding dress.

Big Tigger Reacts After Charges Dropped In NEW Clip

Published

Rihanna Seemingly Addresses Baby Rumors, Talks "Little Pouch"

Big Tigger is giving a glimpse into where his head is at following a whirlwind few months that brought plenty of public scrutiny his way. While the legal situation surrounding the media personality has now been settled, it seems the experience may have changed how he views the people around him — and how open he is to letting someone new into his life.

RELATED: Lil Scrappy, Lil Duval & King Harris Weigh In On Leaked Footage Of Big Tigger & Alicia Brown’s Confrontation Over His Phone

Big Tigger Opens Up About Charges Being Dropped

Following the DA’s decision, Big Tigger addressed the matter in a video obtained by Live Bitez. In the clip, the media personality is seen smiling as he celebrates the news, exclaiming, “I got them charges dropped!” He also revealed that a “public declination” had been documented in his case, noting that folks can look it up for themselves to see the circumstances prosecutors reviewed before deciding not to move forward.

Big Tigger went on to reflect on the past three months, saying his trust level in new people is now at an all-time low. He said that nearly 30 years of his name, history, and character allowed people to make their own judgments about him, and he expressed gratitude to those who stood by him. As for those who didn’t, he said they were never really there for him anyway — adding that he kept notes. He also revealed that he’s not dating anybody right now and has removed his wedding band, although he sometimes wears it on his right hand alongside his Oura Ring.

So, What Exactly Went Down With Big Tigger?

The legal situation involving Big Tigger, born Darian Morgan, has officially come to a close after the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office declined to move forward with a felony aggravated battery charge and misdemeanor third-degree cruelty to children charge against him. Sandy Springs police arrested Morgan on June 20, and he posted a $10,000 bond later that same day.

The case traced back to a May 9 dispute at the home Morgan shared with his estranged wife, Alicia Brown. Per the arrest affidavit, the disagreement reportedly started over text messages from a female co-worker. Brown alleged that Morgan used force to move and shove her, causing her to stumble into an office door and sustain a cut above her left eye that she said required stitches. Morgan has denied the allegations since they first surfaced.

Them Comments Were A Mixed Bag

As soon as folks caught wind of this, they ran straight to Live Bitez’s Instagram comment section and ran it up. Some came with the jokes, of course, while others had questions about the situation, and a few simply popped in to congratulate him.

One Instagram user, @thebxkid, said, Bro really gave us a classic meme and walked away from the case cleared of all charges. Crazy W 😂😂😂”

This Instagram user @garner_82 joked, know what else he got? he got that phone back! 😂😂😂😂”

And, Instagram user @devonmarie1andonly shared, that still doesn’t mean he didn’t do it.. but god bless you if you didn’t”

Then, Instagram user @i_reallylikebnme commented, Mr.Tigger!! 😭😭😭😭 I still say that randomly”

Meanwhile, Instagram user @darrick_leggett asked, I don’t mean no harm but does anybody remember what superhead said about him in her book because every time I see him that’s the only thing that comes to my mind😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂”

But, Instagram user @babyfacescooter_dagoat claimed, You still was aggressive over that phone WHY?”

An 83-year-old Massachusetts woman pleaded guilty to scamming more than $10 million from at least 200 victims in a Ponzi scheme. The elderly woman admitted guilt on Thursday, September 3, in a federal court in Boston.

Elderly Woman, Barbara A. Hirshfield, Pleads Guilty To $10 Million Ponzi Scheme

An elderly Massachusetts woman pleaded guilty to a Ponzi scheme that scammed hundreds of people out of millions of dollars. Barbara A. Hirshfield of Lexington pleaded guilty to five counts of wire fraud in a federal court in Boston, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, District of Massachusetts.

The elderly woman admitted to operating the Ponzi scheme through her motor vehicle and small-loan businesses in Springfield — Ideal Financial Services, Inc., and Ideal Financial Holdings. Hirshfield allegedly raised money from investors by selling promissory notes that guaranteed high-rate returns.

According to the DOJ, investors were told their fund would be used for loans. Not only that, but they were told their investment returns would come from borrowers’ loan payments.

Hirshfield Used New Investments To Pay Investors

Hirshfield reportedly lost investors $10,930,940. According to the DOJ, the Massachusetts Division of Banks became “concerned” about the companies’ finances back in 2012. MDB ordered the company to stop Ideal from soliciting and issuing outside investments.

Afterward, Hirshfield failed to disclose MDB’s order to investors. Not only that, but Hirshfield continued to raise outside money through promissory note sales.

The money ran up by June of 2025, per WWLP, and 204 victims lost nearly $11 million in the Ponzi scheme.

One Victim Said Her Inheritance Was Invested In The Company

One victim, Kimberly O’Connor, said that her family had investments in Ideal dating back generations, to when Hirshfield’s father ran the company.

O’Connor said that she inherited those investments in 2021 after her mother passed away.

“I had been invested quite a bit.,” she told WWLP 22 News. Everything I inherited from my mother. I added to it each year when they matured.”

She added that after Hirshfield fell behind on payments, O’Connor tried to withdraw some money. However, she said the elderly woman gave her excuses and blamed the bank.

“It was a lot of with a lot of excuses at that point,” she said. “And that’s when we started really trying to pull out money.”

She later learned that Ideal had lost its license.

Hirshfield is facing up to 20 years in prison, plus three years of supervised release. In addition, she also faces a $250,000 fine.

Erika Kirk Honors Husband Charlie on Anniversary of His Death

Erika Kirk Pays Tribute to Late Husband Charlie Kirk on 1st Anniversary of His Death 1

Erika Kirk is paying tribute to her late husband, conservative activist Charlie Kirk, on the first anniversary of his death.

Erika, 36, marked the solemn anniversary on Thursday, September 10, by sharing a black-and-white photo of her and Charlie holding hands on their wedding day, along with the caption: “… Until heaven.”

The Turning Point USA cofounder was taking part in a campus discussion at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025, in Orem, Utah, when he was fatally shot. (Charlie was 31 at the time of his death. He was survived by wife Erika and two children.)

Utah police arrested Tyler James Robinson, now 23, in connection with the shooting the following day and he was subsequently charged with aggravated murder and six other charges. (Robinson has pleaded not guilty.)

Erika broke her silence about Charlie’s killing on September 12, 2025, when she took part in a social media memorial.

“Charlie loved life. He loved his life, he loved America, he loved nature which always helped him closer to God,” Erika said in a livestream. “He loved the Chicago Cubs and my goodness did he love the Oregon Ducks.”

She went on to say, “Most of all Charlie loved his children and he loved me with all of his heart and I knew that everyday. He made sure I knew that everyday. Everyday he would ask me, ‘How can I serve you better? How can I be a better husband? How can I be a better father?’ … He was a such a good man. He still is such a good man. He was the perfect father. He was the perfect husband.”

Erika was named the chairwoman and CEO of her spouse’s advocacy group, Turning Point USA, following the controversial pundit’s death.

On September 21, 2025, many prominent conservatives, including President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance, attended a public memorial for Charlie at State Farm Stadium in Phoenix. During her eulogy, Erika said that she had forgiven her husband’s alleged killer.

“I forgive him because it is what Christ did,” Erika told mourners at the ceremony. “The answer to hate is not hate.”

Erika has since marked many notable milestones without Charlie, including what would have been their fifth wedding anniversary in May and Father’s Day in June. She took a lead role in organizing Turning Point USA’s alternative Super Bowl Halftime Show in February, which she dedicated to her late spouse’s memory.

More recently, Erika joined Charlie’s family in praising Utah State District Judge Tony Graf’s decision to send alleged killer Robinson’s case to trial in August as “an important step in our family’s pursuit of justice for him.” (Robinson could face the death penalty if he is convicted on the aggravated murder charge.)

“Every step in this process carries the weight of all that Charlie’s murder has taken from his family, especially his children who will grow up without their father,” the Kirk family told Us in a statement. “We are grateful to all who have continued to pray for us, support us, and stand with us through a year of unimaginable grief.”

Their statement continued, “As the next phase of the judicial process begins, our family remains united in our love for Charlie, our commitment to the pursuit of justice, and our prayer for a transparent and timely process.”

Robinson is scheduled to return to court on October 23 for possible scheduling of his trial.

These books are packed with characters, storylines, twists, and turns that will keep you hooked long enough to finish the entire thing in 48 hours or less. From an underrated Gillian Flynn favorite to an Agatha Christie-inspired modern take, here are thriller books you can finish in a weekend.

‘My Sister, the Serial Killer’ (2018)

Set in Lagos, My Sister, the Serial Killer follows Korede—nurse by day, corpse cleaner by night. The latter is an honest coincidence. Her younger sister Ayoola has a habit of killing her boyfriends, though her third killing was supposedly done in self-defense. Things shake up when Korede discovers that Ayoola’s new crush is the handsome doctor Tade, whom Korede is secretly in love with.

Despite its gory, crude premise, it’s difficult not to chuckle while reading My Sister, the Serial Killer. There’s a certain detachment in the way Ayoola treats the severity of her sociopathic behavior, remaining almost completely unserious about the whole thing. Meanwhile, Korede treats each murder as more of an inconvenience than a crime she needs to process fully. This bizarre dynamic between the sisters makes the story darkly funny, even as the situation becomes increasingly difficult for Korede to contain. It’s a twisted sisterly bond where murder becomes another family obligation.

‘Yellowface’ (2023)

One author’s unfinished draft is another author’s chance at literary superstardom—at the cost of being haunted. Yellowface introduces struggling white author June Hayward, who witnesses the death of her Chinese-American former classmate, Athena Liu. Instead of sending condolences, June steals Athena’s unpublished novel about Chinese laborers in World War I. June then publishes the book under her name, Juniper Song.

What June doesn’t expect is Athena’s “ghost” haunting her through an anonymous account, threatening her success with accusations of plagiarism and cultural appropriation. Yellowface becomes a cat-and-mouse chase as June tries to locate her accuser, spiraling into paranoia as the weight of her guilt swallows her. It’s one of those thrillers where readers are no longer rooting for the protagonist. Readers already know June is a bad person, and Yellowface forces them to reckon with the lengths someone like June would go to not only claim a work that’s not hers, but also steal the identity and experiences of a person of color.

A wedding on an isolated Irish island should be romantic, but The Guest List quickly turns the celebration into a nightmare. Jules Keegan, a successful magazine publisher, has gathered friends and family for her marriage to Will Slater, a famous television personality. Unfortunately, a violent storm traps everyone on the island, leaving the guests with no way to escape. Then Will turns up dead.

A homage to the claustrophobic murder mysteries of Christie, particularly And Then There Were None, while borrowing the snarky sense of entitlement from Knives Out, The Guest List takes “something old, something new” literally. With a murderer hiding among them, the wedding party becomes a pressure cooker. Almost everyone has a reason to despise the groom, and those grudges trace back to something that could destroy Will’s reputation. Yet the deeper the investigation goes, the clearer it becomes that the victim’s demise feels like a tad bit of karma.

Camp Crystal Lake · Friday the 13th

Jason Voorhees

Jason is relentless, but he is also predictable — and that is the gap you would exploit.

  • He moves in straight lines toward his target. He doesn’t strategise, doesn’t adapt, doesn’t outsmart. He simply pursues.
  • Your ability to keep moving, use the environment, and resist the panic that freezes most victims gives you a genuine edge.
  • The Crystal Lake survivors were always the ones who stopped running in circles and started thinking about terrain, water, and distance.
  • You think like that. Which means Jason, for all his indestructibility, would face someone who simply refused to be where he expected.

Haddonfield, Illinois · Halloween

Michael Myers

Michael watches before he moves. He is patient, methodical, and almost impossible to detect — until it’s too late for anyone who isn’t paying close enough attention.

  • But you are paying attention. You notice the shape in the window, the car parked slightly wrong, the silence where there should be sound.
  • Michael’s power lies in the invisibility of ordinary suburbia — the fact that nothing ever looks wrong until it already is.
  • Your spatial awareness and instinct to map every room, every exit, and every shadow before you need them is precisely the quality Laurie Strode had.
  • You are not a victim waiting to happen. You are someone who already suspects something is wrong — and acts on it.

Elm Street · A Nightmare on Elm Street

Freddy Krueger

Freddy wins by getting inside your head — using your own fears, your own memories, your own subconscious as weapons against you. That strategy requires a target who can be destabilised.

  • You are harder to destabilise than most. You’ve faced uncomfortable truths about yourself and you haven’t looked away.
  • The survivors on Elm Street were always the ones who understood what was happening and chose to face it rather than flee from it.
  • Freddy’s greatest weakness is that his power evaporates in the presence of someone who refuses to give him the fear he feeds on.
  • Your psychological resilience — the ability to stay grounded when reality itself becomes unreliable — is exactly the quality that keeps you alive here.

Derry, Maine · It

Pennywise

Pennywise is ancient, shapeshifting, and feeds on terror — but it has one critical vulnerability: it cannot function against someone who genuinely stops being afraid of it.

  • The Losers Club didn’t survive because they were braver than everyone else. They survived because they faced their fears together, and faced them honestly.
  • You ask the questions others avoid. You look directly at what frightens you rather than turning away.
  • That directness — the refusal to let fear fester in the dark — is Pennywise’s worst nightmare.
  • It chose the wrong target when it chose you. You are exactly the kind of person whose fear tastes like nothing at all.

Chicago · Child’s Play

Chucky

Chucky’s greatest advantage is that nobody takes him seriously until it’s already too late. He exploits the gap between how something looks and what it actually is.

  • You don’t have that gap. You take threats seriously regardless of how they present — and you never make the mistake of underestimating something because of its size or appearance.
  • Chucky relies on surprise, on the delay between recognition and response. You close that delay faster than almost anyone.
  • Your instinct to treat every unfamiliar thing with appropriate scepticism — rather than dismissing it because it seems absurd — is the exact quality that keeps you breathing.
  • Against Chucky, not laughing is already winning. You are very good at not laughing.

Sharp Objects begins with journalist Camille Preaker, a troubled reporter sent back to her Missouri hometown to investigate the murder of a young girl and the disappearance of another. Forced to stay with her estranged mother, controlling stepfather, and rebellious half-sister Amma, Camille finds herself confronting painful memories of her sister Marian’s death. When the missing girl is found strangled with her teeth removed, Camille realizes the case may hit dangerously close to home.

The grotesque murders are only one of the many disturbing elements of Sharp Objects. As Camille races to uncover the killer, she is forced to reckon with the reasons she left Missouri in the first place. The novel is a scathing portrayal of generational abuse and the damage it leaves behind. When trauma is allowed to fester for too long, it cannot remain contained within the household. Instead, it seeps outward, infecting relationships, perpetuating cycles of violence, and leaving destruction in its wake.

The Silent Patient became a BookTok phenomenon for good reason. Alicia Berenson appears to have the perfect life as a successful painter married to Gabriel, but that illusion shatters when she shoots him five times. Afterward, Alicia refuses to utter a single word and is committed to a psychiatric facility, where years of failed attempts leave the motive behind her silence a mystery. Six years later, psychotherapist Theo Faber becomes convinced he can reach her.

The best thrillers are the ones that require reading between the lines. It’s even more addictive when readers have absolutely no idea whose version to trust. The Silent Patient is clearly Alicia’s story, but it’s been six years, and she can barely speak about the incident. A newcomer like Theo comes along, thinking he’s got her records straight, but not all strangers are to be trusted so easily. Using short chapters, conflicting accounts, and timed revelations, one can’t help but sift through the pages quickly to get to the truth.

The hit Prime Video sensation Reacher has its origins in Lee Child‘s novels, which are just as thrilling, if not more so, than the television adaptation. Slated to serve as the source material for Season 5, Make Me is arguably one of the darkest books in the Reacher series. When Reacher arrives in the strange Midwestern town of Mother’s Rest, he meets Michelle Chang, an ex-FBI agent searching for her missing private-investigator colleague.

Reacher has dealt with illegal arms dealers, ex-military personnel, corrupt security directors, and countless other dangerous criminals, but few villains are as heinous as those in Make Me. The crimes Reacher uncovers are not only larger in scale than what he typically encounters, but the victims are subjected to something particularly deplorable. Still, like any Reacher story, the former military policeman wastes little time getting involved. Once Reacher discovers what is happening in Mother’s Rest, he sets out to dismantle the operation and save its victims.

Gisele Bündchen opened up about welcoming a baby boy with husband Joaquim Valente when she was 44.

Bündchen and Valente, 38, welcomed a son, whose name has not been publicly revealed, in December 2025. The model is also mother to son Benjamin, 16, and daughter Vivian, 13, whom she welcomed with ex-husband Tom Brady.

Gisele Bündchen had some help from her 1-year-old son during her latest workout session. On Saturday, August 8, the supermodel, 46, shared an adorable photo of her and husband Joaquim Valente’s baby boy — whose name they have not publicly shared — mimicking her workout routine. In the photo, Bündchen balances her hands on two […]

“I’m not defined by other people’s opinions,” she continued about her motherhood journey. “I feel like I get to choose how I want to live my life.”

Bündchen gushed about how her youngest child is “so funny” and recalled a silly moment when the mother-son duo enjoyed an outing at a nearby park.

“I mean, he’s 16 months and he saw that I was cleaning the park — because Miami, it’s so damp all the time! — and he wanted to participate and he felt really good about it,” she recalled.

While Bündchen knows a thing or two about being a mom, she still treats every moment with her little ones as a learning experience.

“Kids give us this opportunity to live again, to be more present and to experience life again. To do it maybe differently than we’ve done it before.” she reflected. “I don’t know. I find every little thing so amazing.”

Bündchen admitted that she has turned down multiple opportunities because her family is her No. 1 priority.

At the end of the day, Bündchen knows that being with her family is what makes her feel fulfilled.

Some people say success is being able to spend time with your kids, to have food on your table, to have a home to live in, to have great relationships and actually enjoy every day. I find that, quite frankly, much more successful than … It’s up to each person to define, because when I was in my 20s, success was different than what I feel today.”

General Hospital: Tracy & Michael Scheme to TOPPLE Willow For Good!!

Published

on

General Hospital: Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) - Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) - Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen)

General Hospital suggests that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) are about to join forces to destroy Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) once and for all.

And they may set a goal to go ahead and destroy Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton)’s marriage along with destroying Willow for reasons I will explain in just a minute.

We’re going to dive into what exactly is Tracy and Michael’s plan and why they end up agreeing to work together when they’ve recently been at odds on the subject of Willow, Brook Lynn, and Chase.

General Hospital: Brook Lynn’s Secret Finally Out

All right, so we just saw Brook Lynn’s huge secret finally blow up and word is traveling pretty fast that she was the other driver in Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner)’s accident. And of course, lots of people are now furious with Brook Lynn. Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza), and Jordan. But most of all – Chase. He is outraged.

He seems pretty much done with Brook Lynn at this point. We just saw Chase walk out on his wife and he marched straight over to the gate house to vent to Willow and Chase told her everything. Whatever loyalty he had to Brook Lynn seems to be gone. Chase told Willow that Brook Lynn was the other driver in the crash.

And then Chase also revealed that Brook Lynn is the one who framed Willow. And if that’s not enough, Chase is going to go down to the PCPD this week. Looks like he throws Brook Lynn under the bus. Because Chase is going to tell Detective Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) that he can close the book on Jordan’s accident.

Chase Turns BLQ in on GH

So, it seems to me that Chase is going to tell Joe everything. And also this week, Chase is going to turn around and confide in Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) as well. So, it looks like Chase is also going to tell Dante what Brook Lynn did. For Chase to burn Brook Lynn to everybody, he’s done. Plus, he told Willow he needed a place to stay the night and all the nights ahead.

So, between Brook Lynn secret blowing up and official Fall spoilers saying Michael and Tracy work together, it looks like they may take advantage of Brook Lynn secret coming out to just clean the slate. Michael and Tracy both hate Willow and neither of them are any fan of Chase’s at this point. Because remember, Michael’s annoyed that Chase was trying to blame him for shooting Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) when Michael knows for certain that Willow is the one who shot her husband in the back.

So, now that Tracy and Michael have two enemies in common, Chase and Willow, we are going to watch and see them get really devious and sneaky. Typical Quartermaines. We know Tracy has been threatening Willow, trying to keep her away from Chase because Tracy was trying to protect Brook Lynn’s marriage. But Chase’s actions are going to send Tracy through the roof. Because Chase already went and confessed to Willow after the blow up with Brook Lynn at the main house.

General Hospital: Hudson Catches Chase

Just the very fact that Chase ran to Willow is a red flag and she was very supportive of Chase and she was there for him. But then he left Willow’s house and obviously wasn’t going to stay the night at her place. Even though I bet if Chase asked if he could stay, then Willow probably would have said yes. Of course. You know, guest room, sofa, my bed. When we heard the spoiler about Hudson Tucker (Troy Lennon Appel) getting an eyeful, I already suspected it was going to be him seeing something to do with the Brook Lynn mess.

Hudson Goes after Pheobe on GH

And sure enough, Hudson saw Chase leaving the gate house and it didn’t look good. And then there’s the other problem because of Phoebe. I get why Chase is ratting Brooklyn out to the PCPD. Because Chase may worry if he doesn’t come clean about what Brooklyn did, then Chase could wind up in even more trouble at work because so many people know about Brook Lynn.

Obviously, the truth is going to reach the PCPD anyway. And I do think Chase is smart to get out in front of it. So, it looks like he reports when he is up at the PCPD, you know, obviously Chase has just found out Brooklyn’s the second driver. So, he may tell Joe that.

Also, Chase may say Brook Lynn’s car was scraped and secretly repaired. And Chase may even tell the cops that his wife sent Lucy Coe in to make a false statement. And Chase may tell them Brook Lynn framed Willow. He may just lay it all out. So, Brook Lynn may face charges of evidence tampering, of witness tampering, and who even knows what else? Some kind of proxy perjury.

General Hospital: Michael Corinthos – Tracy Quartermaine – Willow Tait

Tracy Fights for BLQ on General Hospital

But we know from false spoilers, Tracy does some legal negotiations for Brook Lynn. So, maybe Tracy’s trying to get the charges dropped or minimized to where Brook Lynn just gets probation. Obviously, Tracy’s going to feel like Chase betrayed Brook Lynn and he needs to pay. So Tracy knows Brook Lynn loves Chase. But I think Tracy may decide that the best thing for Brook Lynn in the long run is if she and Chase break up.

Since Tracy wants Willow to pay for everything she’s done, well, that’s two targets. And Michael wants to destroy Willow. And remember, he and his associate were plotting to get Willow and Chase to cheat or look like they did so they could get a photo that would destroy Willow’s career. Michael also doesn’t think Chase is good enough for Brook Lynn because he is constantly defending Willow. And we know from false spoilers that Michael doubles down against Willow.

Spoilers say things escalate between the two of them and that Michael won’t stop until Willow’s completely destroyed and the kids are away from her. So, this is why Michael and Tracy team up. Right now, Willow’s feeling kind of bulletproof where she absolutely should not. And that’s why I think she’s on the cusp of some kind of nervous breakdown because she’s in denial, getting aggressive. She’s spiraling. And because of all that, Michael wants her out of the kids’ lives permanently.

General Hospital: Michael & Tracy Conspire

And that’s when I think he and Tracy start talking because she’s probably griping to Michael about Willow still being on the Quartermaine property and griping about Chase and that he went down to her. So, I think that Michael and Tracy are going to pick up the plan where Michael already started it with his associate, even though she’s gone and it didn’t pan out. So, I suspect they plot to get Chase and Willow to have an affair or again look like they are because even if Chase is separated from Brook Lynn, they’re still married and we could see Chase move into a guest room. But he stays on the property to be close to baby Phoebe. And from the outside, it would look like they’re still together.

So Tracy and Michael may trap Chase alone with Willow, you know, lock him in the wine cellar or the boat house or the crypt and hope they will cheat. And then that way Tracy can use it to convince Brook Lynn to give up on Chase and Michael can use it to publicly expose Willow as a home wrecker.

 Willow Loses Everything on GH

Because if it came out that she was with Chase, obviously Willow would look bad in custody court. Michael’s no longer dating a hooker, which helps his case. And Willow would definitely lose her congressional seat, which is important because she has power that she’s wielding and she’ll be powerless again and then Michael will have all the power, so it’ll be easier to deal with it.

On top of that, there’s even more General Hospital spoilers that say the Quartermaine family is going to be left vulnerable when someone comes to claim Phoebe. And of course, we know that person is Hudson, and we know Tracy’s not going to stand for that, and neither is Brook Lynn. But this messy thing with Chase and Brook Lynn could absolutely factor into that adoption getting undone.

And obviously Tracy is going to help Brook Lynn fight Hudson for baby Phoebe. So Tracy may urge Brook Lynn to cut Chase loose and fight for Phoebe as a single parent of a powerful family. Hudson’s a pretty shady dude and the Quartermaines are powerful, so he’ll obviously have a fight on his hands. But no matter how this plays out, looks like Willow is finally going down and Tracy and Michael are the ones to architect her downfall.

Cassie Ventura & Alex Fine Step Out In RARE London Appearance Amid Life Away From The Spotlight

Cassie Ventura has been keeping things pretty low-key lately. But she was recently spotted stepping back into the scene for a night out in London — and she wasn’t alone! The singer popped out alongside her hubby, Alex Fine, looking all kinds of chic as the couple attended a premiere. The appearance marks a rare public outing for Cassie following a life-changing few years.

Cassie & Alex Fine Step Out In Style

These days, it looks like Cassie is simply focused on her family and enjoying life away from the spotlight. She recently stepped out for the London premiere of ‘MobLand’ ahead of the highly anticipated second season. In photos taken on Thursday, Cassie served looks in a low-cut gray spaghetti-strap dress with a built-in silhouette, white nails, and dark hair parted down the middle and styled in soft, light-peachy waves. Alex kept things sleek in an all-black fit, accessorizing with a watch and an earring in his left ear. The couple posed arm-in-arm for the cameras and kept the vibes understated. Alex also had an extra reason to be there, as he appeared in three episodes of the show’s first season.

The Last We Heard From Cassie

One of the last times we heard from Cassie, she was making headlines for a major change in her personal life. In June 2026, it was reported that Cassie had filed a court declaration stating that she now lives “outside of the United States” and does not intend to move back. While she confirmed that she remains a U.S. citizen, Cassie reportedly clarified that she is not a California resident and said she could still appear for court proceedings in New York, where her attorneys are based. She did not reveal where abroad she and her family are currently living.

Before that update, Cassie and Alex Fine had welcomed their third child, making Cassie officially a boy mom. The couple’s newest addition arrived in May 2025, just weeks after Cassie testified during Diddy’s federal trial. Cassie had previously shared a glimpse of her pregnancy through a stunning black-and-white maternity shoot. But she has continued to keep details about her family, including her son’s name, largely private.

Cassie Previously Took The Stand During Diddy’s Trial

If you remember, Cassie took the stand during Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal sex trafficking trial. Around that same time, Cassie reportedly received a combined $30 million settlement connected to the abuse she said she experienced during her relationship with Diddy — $20 million from Diddy and another $10 million from the InterContinental Los Angeles Century, where surveillance footage captured Diddy assaulting her in a hotel hallway. Cassie later received another legal win in July when a judge dismissed the claims brought against her in a lawsuit filed by male escort Clayton Howard, although part of the case was left open for a possible refiling.

10 Best Fantasy Shows Released Since 2020, Ranked

Oscar Isaac getting stabbed with a spear during a fight in 'Moon Knight'

The year 2020 was tumultuous. As the world came to terms with a global pandemic, the entertainment industry felt the impact. With people quarantined at home, the need for captivating content to watch on television hit an all-time high. Luckily, that demand created an abundant supply, and a surplus of brilliant TV shows has been released post-COVID.

Fantasy has always been a great escape. Viewers get to vicariously live in a fantasy world as they are transported to far-away places and magical realms via their favorite TV shows. Mythical stories, fantastic creatures, and entire universes of wonder are available at the push of a button. Fantasy has held a special place in TV history, and the future looks all the brighter as breakout hits draw viewers back to the genre once more. Here are the best fantasy shows released since 2020.

‘Moon Knight’ (2022)

Releasing Marvel TV shows on Disney+ has been like a dartboard at a pub: throw things at it and see what sticks. While some series have been awesome and done due diligence to their source material, others are abysmal and have received their fair share of dissension. One series that struck out to find excellence on its own without the safety cushion of previous prompting in the MCU is Moon Knight.

Moon Knight stars Oscar Isaac as Steven Grant, a timid, socially awkward museum employee whose whole life is blown apart by forces without and within. Steven and the audience learn together that he has multiple personalities, and one of them, Marc Spector, is not only a mercenary but an emissary for the Egyptian moon god Konshu (F. Murray Abraham/Karim El Hakim). Moon Knight is perfect from beginning to end. It is filled with rich iconography, solid character development, and terrific acting. Isaac is irreplaceable in the roles he plays, and the rest of the cast, including Ethan Hawke and May Calamawy, are equally exemplary. Moon Knight is a unique triumph, proving that there is space in the genre for capsule narratives that are excellent within themselves, and they don’t need to spawn from a broader storyline to be great.

‘Locke & Key’ (2020–2022)

Locke & Key is a kaleidoscopic experience of dark fantasy. There are many pieces that can be turned and manipulated into different configurations, and each one is interesting and deserves to be viewed from several angles. The series centers around the Locke family. After the patriarch Rendell (Bill Heck) is murdered, his wife and children move into the family home where he grew up, a mysterious and foreboding mansion known as Keyhouse.

After the family moves in, the children begin to find keys hidden all over the property. What makes the keys unique is that they are imbued with special, extraordinary powers. There is the Music Box Key that gives its user the ability to control another person’s movements, the Anywhere Key that allows someone to travel anywhere they wish as long as they’ve seen the destination before, and many more keys with equally impressive values. Locke & Key has dynamic characters, interesting plots, and fantastic villains. It blends elements of fantasy and horror together seamlessly and is an ideal choice for fans of either genre.

Based on a beloved YA novel series and quietly dominating on streaming this year, Percy Jackson and the Olympians is simply excellent. Two seasons in, the Disney+ original continues to gain momentum and has been a huge hit with both critics and fans alike. Ahead of the much-anticipated third season, the show is surging up streaming charts, and it is clear that fans can hardly wait for more episodes.

The storyline follows the titular protagonist, played by Walker Scobell, after he learns that he is the son of the Greek god Poseidon (Toby Stephens). As Percy learns more about his role as a demigod, he gains friends and foes as he completes epic quests in this thrilling series. Unlike the feature films based on the books that were released in the 2010s, the TV series is a much more faithful adaptation of the books, which has largely pleased avid devotees. With solid special effects, exciting action, and a pantheon of fascinating characters to explore, Percy Jackson and the Olympians is easily one of the best fantasy shows to debut since 2020, and it isn’t finished yet.

Your answers point to the great house whose words, values, and way of surviving in Westeros match your own. Bend the knee — or don’t. That’s very much up to you.

Winterfell · The North

🐺 House Stark

Winter is Coming — and you have always known it. You prepare not out of fear but out of duty, because the people who depend on you deserve someone who takes the long view.

  • You lead with honour even when it costs you, because you understand that a reputation built on integrity is the only one worth having.
  • Your loyalty to family and people runs deep — not as sentiment but as a code that doesn’t bend when things get difficult.
  • The North endures because Starks endure — not by being the cleverest players in the game, but by being the kind of people others are willing to follow into the cold.
  • You are that kind of person. The pack survives. The lone wolf dies. You already know which one you are.

Casterly Rock · The Westerlands

🦁 House Lannister

You understand the game — its rules, its exceptions, and exactly when the rules become the exception. You play it without illusions and without apology.

  • You are sharper than most people realise, and you have learned to use that gap to your advantage.
  • A Lannister always pays their debts — and you always keep your word, because your word is an instrument of power, and instruments must be kept in working order.
  • You love your family with a ferocity that sometimes blinds you, and you know it, and you do it anyway.
  • The lion doesn’t concern itself with the opinion of sheep. Neither, in the end, do you.

Dragonstone · The Iron Throne

🐉 House Targaryen

You carry a sense of destiny that is difficult to explain and impossible to ignore — the feeling that you are not simply participating in the world but meant to reshape it.

  • You are capable of extraordinary things, and you know it, and that knowledge is both your greatest strength and your most dangerous quality.
  • Fire and blood are not just words to you — they are a philosophy about what change requires and what it costs.
  • The Targaryens at their best were transformative rulers who broke chains and defied the limits of what anyone thought possible.
  • At your best, so are you. The dragon has three heads. You are one of them.

Storm’s End · The Stormlands

🦌 House Baratheon

You are a force — direct, powerful, and difficult to ignore when you enter a room or a conflict. You do not negotiate with challenges. You meet them.

  • Ours is the fury — and yours is a kind of intensity that commands attention, respect, and occasionally fear from those who underestimate what’s behind it.
  • You value strength and straight dealing. You’d rather know where you stand in a fight than navigate a web of courtly whispers.
  • The Baratheons built their house on the back of one of the greatest military victories in Westerosi history — and then struggled with what came after.
  • The lesson of your house is that winning is not the end of the story. Governing is. You are learning that too.

You understand that power does not always announce itself — that sometimes it arrives with flowers, good wine, and a smile that doesn’t quite reach the eyes.

  • Growing strong is your house’s motto, and you live it: patiently, strategically, always investing in the relationships and resources that will matter most when it counts.
  • You are charming by choice and calculating by nature — a combination that makes you one of the most effective players in any room you enter.
  • The Tyrells fed King’s Landing and shaped its politics without ever sitting on the Iron Throne — and they were arguably more powerful for it.
  • You know that the person who controls the food controls the kingdom. And you always know where the food is.

A hidden gem of supernatural fantasy that you will wish you had watched sooner is Netflix’s Lockwood & Co. Based on the award-winning book series by Jonathan Stroud, Lockwood & Co. takes place in a version of London that is plagued by malicious ghosts. Known as “The Problem,” the city has been seeking a way to deal with its surplus of specters, and it turns out that children are the solution. Only young people can detect the ghosts’ presence, leading to a high demand for those with the ability to sense them.

Lockwood & Co. is gripping, with a rich universe full of lore and interesting characters. The special effects in Lockwood & Co. are well done and enhance the storytelling rather than detract from it. Cameron Chapman, Ruby Stokes, and Ali Hadji-Heshmati are stellar in their performances as the motley trio that comprises the independent ghost-catching agency. Although the series received very little marketing or promotion from Netflix, it has grown to be a massive sleeper hit with over 36 million hours viewed. It is one of the best fantasy series released in the past three years and has a perfect 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes. Although Lockwood & Co.’s tenure deserved to be longer, it is still a fantasy masterpiece in its current form.

My Lady Jane is a saucy, rompy anachronistic comedy that broke fans’ hearts when it was canceled after a single season. The series stars Emily Bader as the historical figure Lady Jane Grey, the famous Nine Days Queen. Lady Grey was the Queen of England for only nine days before she was deposed and beheaded. It is a real-life story that seems closer to a plot in Game of Thrones than anything else, but it did actually happen.

My Lady Jane takes this foundation and adds layers of comedy and whimsy to create something altogether unique. With such a tempestuous and remarkable turn of events, the story lent itself to a depiction that colored outside the lines a bit. Fans were passionate about the series and devastated when it was terminated. Luckily, the writing does not end on an earth-shattering cliffhanger, so the series can be appreciated and thoroughly enjoyed as-is.

Historically, TV shows based on video games have been subpar. Arcane, however, is pure transcendence. The animated series is based on the popular League of Legends game and incorporates elements of sci-fi, fantasy, and steampunk. Having game developers from League of Legends involved with the making of the show ensured the result would be phenomenal. Not only is the animation stunning and visually rich, but the storyline is dedicated and focused. The series is only two seasons long because it wanted to be, and it avoided the pitfall of writing itself into mediocrity.

Arcane has won several Primetime Emmy Awards and boasts a perfect 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. It has proven once and for all that a TV show based on a video game can not only be good, but quintessential. Arcane is a ridiculously gorgeous spectacle of animation that you have to see to appreciate, and the compelling story and committed performances will keep you invested from the very start.

Game of Thrones was a force to be reckoned with when it came to fantasy fandom. The hit series made household names out of its cast and catapulted many actors to stardom. When the series wrapped in 2019, there was a hole left in viewers’ hearts to revisit the lore once more. Enter: House of the Dragon. A prequel set 127 years prior to the events in GoT, House of the Dragon focuses on one of the most popular houses, the Targaryens, and feeds into the same narratives of dragons, deadly conquest, and a desire for power.

House of the Dragon has not disappointed, and it has been a solid hit for HBO Max and the series’ creators. Three seasons in, House of the Dragon remains a must-watch series and is consistently ranking in HBO Max’s Top 10 TV shows worldwide. The series has been greenlit for a fourth and final season, and fans can hardly wait to return to Westeros again.

‘Wednesday’ (2022–Present)

Reviving an established IP is nothing new, but Wednesday is a complete reinvigoration of a beloved character that became something greater than the sum of its parts. Wednesday Addams had only been seen in TV shows and movies as a younger girl. The choice to age her into a teen was inspired, and Jenna Ortega’s performance is spot-on, paying due homage to Christina Ricci’s brilliant depictions in the ‘90s movies. Ricci has a role in the series, and there are plenty of fan service winks to keep aficionados happy.

Wednesday includes the brooding, gothic lore that is expected, and then expands upon it by incorporating fantasy creatures like werewolves, sirens, and gorgons. Add in a school for outcasts with a house system akin to Harry Potter, and it was a recipe for success. Wednesday has become Netflix’s most accomplished title, and it is the predominant English-language series on the platform. Combining mystery with the macabre, Wednesday continues to inspire everything from fashion to cosmetics to hairstyles and more, and this absolute masterpiece of a fantasy series shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
