Mama June Shannon is standing behind her daughter Lauryn “Pumpkin” Efird as the reality star moves deeper into adult entertainment, but she still has concerns about the long-term consequences. Pumpkin has expanded her career by creating explicit OF content and dancing at strip clubs following her 2024 divorce from Josh Efird. Although June acknowledged that her daughter is old enough to make her own choices, the “Mama June: Family Crisis” star warned that the money may eventually come with a personal cost.
Eric Kowalsky / MEGA
Speaking to TMZ, June said she supports Pumpkin’s decision but cautioned that “all money ain’t good money.” Her primary concern is the permanence of the content and the possibility that Pumpkin’s four children could discover it when they are older.
While the children may not currently understand what OF is, June noted that the material could remain online and become accessible to them in the future. Despite those reservations, June insisted the career change has not caused a rift between her and her daughter. Pumpkin is an adult, and June believes the final decision belongs to her.
The reality star also does not necessarily believe Pumpkin will regret creating the content. According to June, her daughter has always been outgoing and is currently enjoying herself while pursuing what she wants.

June even expressed hope that Pumpkin is making “more than $10,000” from the venture.
Pumpkin Reportedly Earned Nearly Six Figures In Two Weeks
Pumpkin claims the financial return has already been substantial. The reality star reportedly told TMZ that she made close to six figures through OF in only two weeks. Some of the videos offered through her page are reportedly priced at approximately $100 each.
She currently creates content with boyfriend Darrin Kitchens, who is related to her former husband through his stepfather. Pumpkin has also discussed plans to expand the type of material she offers, including possible “girl-on-girl” content and potentially filming a threesome with Kitchens.
In addition to OF, Pumpkin has begun making paid appearances as a dancer at strip clubs across the country. She recently performed at Diamonds & Lace in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where patrons threw money while she danced in a pleated skirt and lace bra. Pumpkin has said she earns thousands from those appearances before tips are included.
The combination of online subscriptions, separately sold videos and live appearances has given the mother of four a new income stream outside her family’s reality television franchise.

Pumpkin Previously Wanted To Join OF During The Pandemic
Pumpkin revealed during an April appearance on the “GWF” podcast that she first considered launching an OF account during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her then-husband, however, strongly opposed the idea. “I just wanna make money, you know what I mean?” she said.
After Pumpkin and Efird ended their marriage, she revisited the plan and began creating content with Kitchens. During the same podcast appearance, Pumpkin revealed that some of her subscribers are married men who discuss being unhappy with their wives. “People judge me for that, but at the end, I’m still giving back to my fans,” she reasoned.
Pumpkin Began Dating Her Ex-Husband’s Cousin After Their Divorce
Pumpkin filed for divorce from Efird in August 2024 after six years of marriage. Their divorce was finalized the following month. The former couple shares four children. Pumpkin is also the legal guardian of her younger sister, Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson.
After the split, Pumpkin began dating Kitchens, who has been described as Efird’s cousin. She addressed the unusual family connection during an episode of “Mama June: Family Crisis.” “So, I’ve been, like, kinda seeing this dude,” Pumpkin told her family. “He’s been in Josh’s family for a long time…. It’s his cousin.”
Pumpkin Defends Her Romance And Reveals Their Long History
Pumpkin continued defending the relationship while explaining that Kitchens is related to Efird’s stepfather. “But they’re not blood cousins!” she told her friend Paisley.
Pumpkin said she already had a long history with Kitchens before their relationship became romantic. “I’ve known him for a really long time. We were friends back in school, and then he messaged me on social media,” she explained. “We’ve just kind of been talking, and it’s kind of nice.”
Josh Efird Has Also Moved On
Efird entered a new relationship with Breanna Godwin after separating from Pumpkin. The couple welcomed a daughter named Sadie in May of last year. The complicated relationships involving Pumpkin, Kitchens, Efird and Godwin became part of the eighth season of “Mama June: Family Crisis,” which concluded in May.
While June may remain cautious about Pumpkin’s latest career move, she appears unwilling to let those concerns damage their relationship.
Artificial intelligence is one of those science fiction tropes that’s been used for so many years that, by this point, you’re almost surprised when you watch a film and it isn’t a malevolent threat. It’s gone from science-fiction fantasy to everyday reality in remarkably little time and, at a time when our lives are affected by AI almost every second, audiences are rediscovering one film that explored its possibilities long before the conversation became mainstream.
Ex Machinawas one of the most unsettling movies about the prospects of artificial intelligence when it was released in 2015, and it follows the young programmer Caleb Smith (Domhnall Gleeson), who wins the chance to spend a week with his company’s brilliant but reclusive CEO, Nathan Bateman (Oscar Isaac). There, things start to get weird, as the synopsis offers:
“Upon his arrival, Caleb learns that Nathan has chosen him to be the human component in a Turing Test—charging him with evaluating the capabilities, and ultimately the consciousness, of Nathan’s latest experiment in artificial intelligence. That experiment is Ava (Alicia Vikander), a breathtaking A.I. whose emotional intelligence proves more sophisticated––and more deceptive––than the two men could have imagined.”

Written and directed by Alex Garland in his directorial debut, the film also features Sonoya Mizuno (House of the Dragon) as Kyoko, and Corey Johnson (The Righteous Gemstones) as Jay.

Arrakis · Dune
Paul Atreides

You carry a weight most people would crumble under — the knowledge of what you’re capable of, and the burden of what you might have to become.
You see further ahead than others and you plan accordingly, even when the vision frightens you.
You are driven by loyalty to your people and a sense of destiny you didn’t ask for but can’t escape.
Paul Atreides is not simply a hero — he is someone who understands the cost of power and chooses to bear it anyway.
That gravity, that willingness to carry what others won’t, is exactly you.
USS Enterprise · Star Trek
Captain Kirk
Advertisement
You lead with instinct, warmth, and an absolute refusal to accept a no-win scenario — because you’ve always believed there’s a third option nobody else has thought of yet.
You take the mission seriously without ever taking yourself too seriously.
Your crew would follow you anywhere, not because you demand it, but because you’ve earned it.
Kirk’s genius isn’t tactical — it’s human. He reads people, bends rules with purpose, and wills outcomes into existence through sheer conviction.
That combination of warmth, audacity, and relentless optimism is unmistakably yours.
The Rebellion · Star Wars
Princess Leia
Advertisement
You are the kind of person who holds the line when everyone else is losing faith — not because you’re fearless, but because giving up simply isn’t something you’re capable of.
You lead through conviction. Your voice carries because your belief is unshakeable.
You gave up everything ordinary the moment you chose the cause, and you’ve never looked back.
Leia is not a supporting character in her own story — she is the moral centre of the entire rebellion.
That same fierce, principled, unbreakable core is what defines you.
The Nostromo · Alien
Ellen Ripley

You are not reckless, not grandiose, and not particularly interested in being anyone’s hero — you just refuse to stop when it matters.
You see threats clearly, you document the truth even when no one listens, and when the time comes you handle it yourself.
Ripley’s heroism is earned, not performed. She doesn’t have a speech — she has a flamethrower and a plan.
You share her composure under the worst possible pressure, and her refusal to pretend the monster isn’t there.
When it counts, you don’t flinch. That’s everything.
The Wasteland · Mad Max
Max Rockatansky

You have been through fire that would break most people — and what came out the other side is something the world underestimates at its peril.
You don’t ask for help, don’t need validation, and don’t wait for anyone to tell you the rules no longer apply.
Your loyalty, when it finally arrives, is absolute — but it’s earned in silence and tested in action, not in words.
Max is not a nihilist. He is someone who lost everything and found, against his will, that he still has something worth protecting.
That bruised, stubborn, ultimately human core is exactly yours.
Critics adored the film, and it boasts a superb 92% critics score and 86% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. It also won the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects, famously defeating Mad Max: Fury Road, while earning a nomination for Best Original Screenplay. Now, it’s widely considered one of the defining AI movies in modern cinema and some may argue that it will end up being Garland’s magnum opus when all is said and done.

Russell Crowe in The Pope’s ExorcistImage via Sony Pictures Releasing
Russell Crowe has had an uneven run at the box office in the last few years, ever since he stopped headlining big-budget studio projects. His last tentpole was Noah, the controversial biblical epic directed by Darren Aronofsky, which grossed $360 million worldwide in 2014. Since then, Crowe has played either cameos or supporting parts in major movies such as Thor: Love and Thunder and Kraven the Hunter. His starring roles have mostly been restricted to offbeat genre movies such as the stalker thrillerUnhinged and more recently, the action movie The Get Out. Last year, Crowe made a bid for an Oscar with the period drama Nuremberg, which grossed a healthy $70 million against a reported budget of under $10 million.
Nuremberg nearly emerged as Crowe’s biggest hit as a leading man since Noah. But this title is still held by Crowe’s 2023 horror hit that grossed $77 million worldwide against a reported budget of $18 million. The movie is now streaming in the United States on HBO Max, but it’ll be removed from the service soon. The movie’s attention-grabbing title and premise were based on a real-life personality: Father Gabriele Amorth. He was best known as the official exorcist of the Vatican, a man who conducted thousands of exorcisms in his career and was the subject of a documentary directed by William Friedkin.

Camp Crystal Lake · Friday the 13th
Jason Voorhees
Jason is relentless, but he is also predictable — and that is the gap you would exploit.
He moves in straight lines toward his target. He doesn’t strategise, doesn’t adapt, doesn’t outsmart. He simply pursues.
Your ability to keep moving, use the environment, and resist the panic that freezes most victims gives you a genuine edge.
The Crystal Lake survivors were always the ones who stopped running in circles and started thinking about terrain, water, and distance.
You think like that. Which means Jason, for all his indestructibility, would face someone who simply refused to be where he expected.
Haddonfield, Illinois · Halloween
Michael Myers
Michael watches before he moves. He is patient, methodical, and almost impossible to detect — until it’s too late for anyone who isn’t paying close enough attention.
But you are paying attention. You notice the shape in the window, the car parked slightly wrong, the silence where there should be sound.
Michael’s power lies in the invisibility of ordinary suburbia — the fact that nothing ever looks wrong until it already is.
Your spatial awareness and instinct to map every room, every exit, and every shadow before you need them is precisely the quality Laurie Strode had.
You are not a victim waiting to happen. You are someone who already suspects something is wrong — and acts on it.
Elm Street · A Nightmare on Elm Street
Freddy Krueger
Freddy wins by getting inside your head — using your own fears, your own memories, your own subconscious as weapons against you. That strategy requires a target who can be destabilised.
You are harder to destabilise than most. You’ve faced uncomfortable truths about yourself and you haven’t looked away.
The survivors on Elm Street were always the ones who understood what was happening and chose to face it rather than flee from it.
Freddy’s greatest weakness is that his power evaporates in the presence of someone who refuses to give him the fear he feeds on.
Your psychological resilience — the ability to stay grounded when reality itself becomes unreliable — is exactly the quality that keeps you alive here.
Derry, Maine · It
Pennywise
Pennywise is ancient, shapeshifting, and feeds on terror — but it has one critical vulnerability: it cannot function against someone who genuinely stops being afraid of it.
The Losers Club didn’t survive because they were braver than everyone else. They survived because they faced their fears together, and faced them honestly.
You ask the questions others avoid. You look directly at what frightens you rather than turning away.
That directness — the refusal to let fear fester in the dark — is Pennywise’s worst nightmare.
It chose the wrong target when it chose you. You are exactly the kind of person whose fear tastes like nothing at all.
Chicago · Child’s Play
Chucky
Chucky’s greatest advantage is that nobody takes him seriously until it’s already too late. He exploits the gap between how something looks and what it actually is.
You don’t have that gap. You take threats seriously regardless of how they present — and you never make the mistake of underestimating something because of its size or appearance.
Chucky relies on surprise, on the delay between recognition and response. You close that delay faster than almost anyone.
Your instinct to treat every unfamiliar thing with appropriate scepticism — rather than dismissing it because it seems absurd — is the exact quality that keeps you breathing.
Against Chucky, not laughing is already winning. You are very good at not laughing.

Here’s How Long You Have Left to Watch Russell Crowe’s Movie on HBO Max
The movie we’re talking about, of course, is The Pope’s Exorcist. Directed by Julius Avery, the film received mixed reviews. It’s now sitting at a 50% score on the aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, where the consensus reads, “Dominus Crowe! The Pope’s Exorcist is standard-issue holy horror in most respects, but its star’s sanctified performance will be the answer to some viewers’ prayers.” The film’s audience score of 80% has helped turn it into something of an ironic cult hit in the years since its release. Perhaps encouraged by this response, Sony announced that Crowe would return for a sequel, but the follow-up hasn’t materialized yet. You can watch The Pope’s Exorcist on HBO Max until August 12. Crafted from 100% cotton with a breathable lining, it features delicate crochet eyelet embroidery, a tiered skirt and a flattering V-neckline that feels effortlessly romantic.
Ransom Canyon knows how to bring the drama, but if I’m being honest, a major reason the Netflix show’s worth watching is for the fashion. Minka Kelly, who plays Quinn O’Grady on the series, has been known to rock some seriously cute country-chic fits. Still, it’s her ‘ranch wife’ dresses that are exceptionally chic and […]
Shoppers say the pick delivers on style and quality. One reviewer raved, “Beautiful dress! Perfect! Very well made,” while another couldn’t believe how luxe it looked, writing, “Looks exactly like an Isabel Marant dress. It’s insane — the fit, the material — I’m obsessed.”
The dress has a high-waisted silhouette that gently skims the body before flowing into a breezy ankle-length hem, creating the same elongated effect that made Quinn O’Grady’s (Kelly’s character) Ransom Canyon look so memorable. Spaghetti straps, a racerback design and an open-back finish add just the right amount of charm. Embroidered eyelet accents give the dress a timeless, heirloom-inspired feel, too.
Dress it up with wedges and gold jewelry or keep it casual with sandals and a woven tote. If you’re looking to channel Kelly’s effortless, ranch-meets-romance aesthetic without splurging on designer labels, this flattering Amazon dress checks every box.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry stepped out on a date night to attend a star-studded fundraiser in Canada.
The Duchess of Sussex, 45, offered a peek behind the scenes via Instagram at the royal couple’s attendance at the 40th anniversary celebrations for composer David Foster’s charitable foundation in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, on Friday, August 8.
Meghan simply captioned her look back at the gala with emojis of a Canadian flag and a red heart.
Per People, Meghan wore a black Greta Constantin gown, paired with her late mother-in-law Princess Diana’s diamond and sapphire earrings. Prince Harry, 41, opted for a chic black and white tuxedo, complete with a traditional bowtie.

Alongside a selfie shot at the event, Meghan shared behind-the-scenes video footage of the pair making their royal entrance. The footage showed Harry and Meghan stopping to speak with members of a bagpipe and drum band who were playing at the gala before heading into the ballroom.
Once inside, Meghan and Harry potentially hobnobbed with A-list guests including Foster, 76, and his wife Katharine McPhee, Bill Gates, Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine and Nickelback singer Chad Kroeger, among others. The Times Colonist reported that there were four separate donations of $1 million each during the event, as well as several more of at least $100,000. (Per the outlet, more than $14.5 million was earned during the fundraiser.)
In March, the David Foster Foundation announced it was hosting a 40th anniversary weekend of events in August to “bring together friends, supporters, artists, and families for an extraordinary celebration of four decades of life-changing impact.”
“From elegant gala experiences and unforgettable musical performances to the beauty of the iconic Inner Harbour, every moment has been thoughtfully designed to celebrate the legacy we have built together — and the countless lives forever changed because of it,” Foster announced via the group’s website.
It may not be an official royal tour, but Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s visit to Australia has definitely created a lot of buzz — particularly around Meghan’s fashion choices. True to her signature quiet‑luxury style, the Duchess relied on chic, minimalist pieces from top designers for her public visits. One of the most talked‑about […]

A Golden Age masterpiece starring two of the most popular male actors of the era is about to leave HBO Max, leaving fans of Pre-Code classics with very little time to check it out. The movie has had a deep and lasting influence on the gangster genre, and it’s safe to say that Martin Scorsese would have been a different filmmaker were it not for his fascination with films of this kind. In fact, in a 1990 interview with the Los Angeles Times, Scorsese said, “everything from this genre properly comes from the inspiration” of two movies, the one we’re talking about, and The Public Enemy.
Incidentally, both movies were released in the same year, 1931, which makes them 95 years old. Public Enemy was headlined by arguably the greatest star of the gangster genre, James Cagney. Scorsese deconstructed these early Warner Bros. gangster movies in his own films, such as Goodfellas and Mean Streets, not to mention the relatively recent The Irishman. The movie that’s currently streaming on HBO Max, on the other hand, starred Edward G. Robinson and Douglas Fairbanks Jr. It was produced during the Great Depression and tells a classic story of a street-level thug who climbs to the top of a crime syndicate.

You are a Dutton — or you might as well be. You understand that some things are worth protecting at any cost, and that the modern world’s indifference to history, to land, to legacy, is not something you’re willing to accept quietly. You lead from the front, you carry your family’s weight without complaint, and when someone threatens what’s yours, you don’t escalate — you finish it. You’re not cruel. But you are absolute. In Yellowstone’s world, that combination of ferocity and loyalty doesn’t make you a villain. It makes you the only thing standing between everything that matters and everyone who wants to take it.
You thrive in the chaos of high-stakes negotiation, where the money is enormous, the margins are thin, and the wrong word in the wrong room can cost everyone everything. You’re a fixer — the person called when a situation is already on fire and needs someone with the nerve to walk into it. West Texas oil country rewards exactly what you are: sharp, adaptable, unsentimental, and absolutely clear-eyed about what people want and what they’ll do to get it. You’re not naive enough to think this world is fair. You’re smart enough to be the one deciding who it’s fair to.

You are a Dwight Manfredi — someone who has served their time, paid their dues, and arrived somewhere unexpected with nothing but their reputation and their wits. You adapt without losing yourself. You build loyalty through respect rather than fear, though you’re not above reminding people that the two aren’t mutually exclusive. Tulsa King is for people who are still standing when everyone assumed they’d be finished — who find, in an unfamiliar place, that they’re more capable than the world gave them credit for. You don’t need a throne. You build one, wherever you happen to land.
You carry the weight of a system that is broken by design, and you do it anyway — because someone has to, and because you’re the only one positioned to do it without the whole thing collapsing. Mike McLusky’s world is for people who are comfortable operating where there are no good options, only less catastrophic ones. You speak every language: law enforcement, criminal, political, human. That fluency makes you invaluable and it makes you a target. You’ve made your peace with both. Mayor of Kingstown belongs to people who understand that keeping the peace is not the same as being at peace — and who do the job regardless.

Here’s How Long You Have Left to Watch the Crime Classic on HBO Max
We’re talking, of course, about Little Caesar. The movie was directed by Mervyn LeRoy and released in January 1931. It entered the public domain in January this year, meaning that even if you aren’t able to catch it on HBO Max in time, you can legally watch it for free wherever it’s available. This includes Wikipedia. Little Caesar grossed more than $750,000 at the box office and is now regarded as a classic. Keith Urban is reportedly not heartbroken over Nicole Kidman’s apparent new romance following the end of their 19-year marriage. Although reports suggested the country singer was “devastated” after Kidman was linked to millionaire private equity businessman Michael Reinstein, insiders now claim her decision to move on has brought Urban a sense of relief. According to a source, Keith Urban had been unhappy for some time and was ultimately the person who chose to end the marriage.
5AdMedia / MEGA
Kidman and Urban would have celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary in June. Instead, the former couple entered the milestone year separately after ending their relationship in late 2025. Kidman was later photographed in Portofino, Italy, with Reinstein. The pair reportedly met at a pre-Oscars party earlier this year, months after Kidman and Urban finalized their divorce.
Despite speculation that seeing his former wife with another man had been difficult for Urban, a source told the Daily Mail that he had already grown tired of the high-profile lifestyle surrounding their marriage.
“Keith’s been unhappy for a long time,” the insider claimed. “He didn’t want to be on another red carpet or have a staff full of people and be forced to wear designer [clothes]. He doesn’t care about any of that. That’s not who he is, and he’s been dealing with it for a long time.”
The source continued, “He just wants to make music and play music. The rest was all very complicated and outside of his comfort zone.”

Nicole Kidman Previously Admitted Her Husband Needed Space
Urban’s reported desire for a quieter life was not entirely hidden during the marriage. The musician occasionally avoided high-profile appearances, including skipping the red carpet at the Country Music Association Awards last year.
Kidman also acknowledged his need for solitude during a 2020 interview with Marie Claire. “At times, he just needs to escape with his guitar,” she told the publication. “Sometimes I’ll find him in his closet playing guitar. That’s when I know we really need to give him space.”
Kidman’s work as an actress and producer created an especially demanding schedule. Over the past three years, she appeared in 12 television and film productions while producing nine. Urban, meanwhile, released one album, completed a Las Vegas residency and spent much of 2025 touring internationally.
Their schedules sometimes kept them apart during significant family moments. Kidman was reportedly unable to attend Urban’s father’s funeral in 2015 because she was filming in England. Urban had attended her father’s memorial the previous year and performed “Amazing Grace.”
Keith Urban’s Interviews Sparked Questions Before The Split
Shortly after that appearance, several of Urban’s interviews attracted attention because of his reactions to questions involving Kidman. In fact, he abruptly left a remote radio interview after being asked about Kidman filming intimate scenes in “A Family Affair” with Zac Efron.
“What does Keith Urban think when he sees his beautiful wife with beautiful younger men like Zac Efron having these beautiful love scenes on TV and radio?” a host asked during a “Wall of Truth” segment on “Hayley & Max in the Morning.”

Following a period of silence, a producer confirmed that Urban had disconnected from the Zoom interview. “I think his team hung up on us because they didn’t want us to ask that question,” the producer said. “I knew that would happen. He doesn’t like talking about his wife.”
Nicole Kidman’s New Romance Is Reportedly A ‘Relief’ For Her Ex
A Daily Mail insider claimed Kidman has privately been the angrier party since the marriage ended. According to the source, her relationship with Reinstein may “be a relief for [Urban]” because she could now “ease up a little.”
The insider also alleged that disagreements over access to their daughters had been especially difficult. As of a few months ago, the source claimed Kidman was “holding the kids over his head.”
“She’s the one that’s mad at him. He is not getting to see his kids as much as he wants,” the insider alleged. “It’s basically an ‘if you want to see them come back home’ kinda thing.”
Under their reported parenting arrangement, Kidman has daughters Sunday and Faith for 306 days of the year. Urban is scheduled to spend every other weekend and alternating holidays with them.

Keith Urban Reportedly Could Not Picture Nicole Kidman In His Future
Despite Kidman’s enormous impact on Urban’s life, the source claimed his decision to leave came after he was encouraged to imagine his future. “He left her,” the insider said. “His decision came after he was asked, ‘When you see yourself in ten years do you see Nicole in that picture?’ And he clearly didn’t.”
According to the source, Urban ultimately wanted a life far removed from red carpets, extensive staff and Hollywood obligations. “He’s a simple guy that just wants a house in Nashville and a house on the beach,” the insider concluded.
Neither Kidman nor Urban has responded directly to the latest claims.
Highlander star Christopher Lambert reportedly suffered a medical emergency while attending a Pennsylvania convention.
The organizers of Steel City Con in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, announced on Saturday, August 8, that “Christopher Lambert had to leave the event due to a personal issue.” As a result, his photo opportunity session for Saturday was canceled and it was unclear whether he’d return to the convention later in the weekend.
TMZ reported that Lambert, 69, was signing autographs for fans when he suddenly collapsed and was eventually taken away in an ambulance.
Fans in attendance at Steel City Con were understandably concerned about the condition of the legendary action movie star following the alarming incident.
Starz will travel even further back in time for the upcoming prequel series, Outlander: Blood of My Blood. In February 2024, production officially began in Scotland on Outlander: Blood of My Blood, which will consist of 10 episodes and will follow the parallel love stories of both Jamie and Claire Fraser’s parents. Starz’s Outlander, based […]
“Oh no, saying a prayer his way,” one attendee replied via Steel City Con Facebook’s post.

Another Steel City Con visitor revealed, “We met him earlier. I knew he wasn’t feeling well and had a cold. Prayers he is ok.”
“Sending prayers for speedy recovery, healing. First responders, staff, security, constables did an excellent job at handling the medical emergency,” another fan in attendance shared.
Lambert’s spokesperson has since assured TMZ that the actor is “perfectly OK” and that the medical emergency was likely caused by a drop in blood sugar due to a lack of sleep and food.
While Lambert was released from medical care to rest at his hotel, his management team said it was not yet clear whether he’d be able to return to Steel City Con on Sunday, August 9.

However, his team suggested that Lambert would have plenty of time to recover so he can make his scheduled Fan Expo Chicago appearance at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois, from August 14 through August 16.

Lambert previously suffered a health scare in early 2025 when he fell down a flight of stairs at a hotel, thereby injuring his back. The injury was so severe that Lambert had to drop out of a March 2025 appearance at Swedish festival SciFiWorld to allow more time to recover.
“As an actor, filming and promoting his films are an absolute priority and has always been, and while he has the highest respect for people organizing events and fans who attend; unfortunately this time he will not be able to attend the comic con,” his representatives said at the time.

Lambert is best known for playing the immortal Scottish swordsman Connor MacLeod in the Highlander film and TV series as well as Raiden in 1995’s Mortal Kombat. Some of his other notable projects include his breakthrough in 1984 adventure movie Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes, plus his leading role in cult classic mob drama The Sicilian and portraying terrorist The Corsican on The Blacklist.
Hailey Bieber is no longer simply viewed as the woman married to one of the world’s biggest models. Following Rhode’s blockbuster $1 billion sale to e.l.f. Beauty industry insiders claim that, for beauty, Hailey has become the more sought-after Bieber in certain Hollywood and corporate circles. The dramatic shift does not mean there is trouble in Hailey and Justin Bieber’s marriage. However, industry observers believe her rapidly expanding influence has fundamentally changed how Hollywood views the famous couple.

Hailey’s growing business power came into sharper focus after e.l.f. Beauty reported a 36% increase in quarterly sales, reaching $479.4 million. Executives credited much of that growth to Rhode, the skincare company Hailey founded before selling it to the cosmetics giant in a deal valued at $1 billion last year. The transaction did not mark the end of Hailey’s involvement with the brand. She remained with e.l.f. as Rhode’s chief creative officer and head of innovation, allowing her to continue shaping its products and overall direction.
According to a beauty industry executive who spoke to the Daily Mail, the acquisition changed how corporate decision-makers perceive the model and entrepreneur. “The Rhode acquisition wasn’t the finish line,” the executive said. “It was her introduction. She became someone executives wanted in the room when real business decisions were being made.”
Her visibility has also continued outside the boardroom. Hailey frequently attracts attention through her fashion, beauty campaigns, and social media presence, including recent photographs taken aboard a luxury yacht in Europe.
Hollywood Insider Claims There Has Been A ‘Complete Reversal’
For much of their relationship, Justin was unquestionably the more famous half of the couple. His career brought global hits, arena and stadium tours, and an enormous international fan base.
Hailey, meanwhile, was frequently identified through her connection to the singer despite already having a successful modeling career of her own. Industry sources now believe the dynamic has shifted. “There has been a complete reversal,” a veteran studio executive told the Daily Mail. “Five years ago every conversation started with Justin. Today the first question is, ‘Can we get Hailey?’”

An A-list publicist offered a similarly direct assessment of Hailey’s evolution. “Brands aren’t calling because she’s married to Justin anymore,” the publicist said. “They’re calling because she built something investors wish they’d backed sooner. That’s a completely different level of celebrity.”
The comments do not diminish Justin’s musical accomplishments. Instead, they reflect how Hailey has established an independent commercial identity capable of generating major corporate interest.
Justin Bieber’s Return To Performing Has Faced Scrutiny
Hailey’s business momentum arrives as Justin works to rebuild his presence as a live performer. The singer previously stepped away from touring after being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which temporarily paralyzed part of his face in 2022.
Although his return to the stage has attracted enormous attention, it has also produced divided reactions. His halftime performance during the World Cup Final received mixed responses from viewers, while some of his public appearances have prompted speculation about his well-being.
Neither those reactions nor Hailey’s business success establishes that the couple is experiencing marital problems.

The Daily Mail reporter who conducted the analysis explicitly stated that sources continued to describe Justin and Hailey as devoted parents who remain committed to one another and to their marriage. However, the reporter argued that Hollywood couples can face additional pressure when the balance of fame, opportunity and influence changes significantly between them.
Jessica Simpson And Nick Lachey Faced A Similar Celebrity Shift
To explain the potential challenges created by changing levels of fame, the Daily Mail reporter pointed to Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey. The journalist previously worked as Simpson’s publicist and was present during the defining period of her early career and the end of her marriage. The reporter also wrote the statement announcing the couple’s separation.
When “Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica” premiered on MTV in 2003, Lachey was the more established celebrity due to his success with 98 Degrees. That changed as Simpson became the show’s breakout star.
Her endorsements increased, her entertainment career expanded, and her fashion business eventually grew into a billion-dollar brand. “You could actually feel the oxygen leave the room,” the studio executive recalled of being around Simpson and Lachey during that period. “Nick walked into meetings where people were really waiting for her.”
The shift did not prove why their marriage ended. However, the reporter described it as an example of how the professional balance inside a celebrity relationship can change as one partner’s career accelerates. “Everyone around the couple notices it months before they do,” a veteran Hollywood manager told the Daily Mail. “All of a sudden, one calendar matters more. One career starts dictating the other.”

Hailey Bieber Is Now An Entertainment Power Player In Her Own Right
Hailey’s continued leadership role at Rhode suggests she intends to remain actively involved in the company rather than treating its sale as an exit. Her position also distinguishes Rhode’s success from a traditional celebrity endorsement. Hailey founded the company, developed its public identity, and retained a role in its future after negotiating a billion-dollar acquisition.
Justin, meanwhile, remains one of the defining pop stars of his generation.
Charleston White is responding after Latto came for his “scrawny” self over comments related to her relationship with 21 Savage. He claims he didn’t mean any harm, but will Big Mama and 21 accept the explanation? So far, no word.
Charleston White Responds To Latto & 21 Savage With THESE Posts
White took to Instagram on Saturday (August 8) to address Latto going in on him after he previously compared her and Claressa Shields. First, he seemed to bask in the fact that Big Mama even responded in the first place, claiming he’s “the voice” now. He said:
“When you got Latto responding with your motherf**king breast milk titties leaking, trying to breastfeed that baby…When I speak everybody listens. Now I control the algorithm and I just needed to get Claressa Shields in the algorithm so we can talk colorism.”
Charleston White said his approach is called “provoking thoughts and evoking emotion.” He also said he can never be beaten at this because he’s the “master” of it.
WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert has sent a memo to teams that addresses ongoing discussions around transgender athletes in women’s basketball.
“I know many of you have received questions in recent weeks regarding transgender athlete participation in women’s basketball, and I expect this topic will continue to receive significant attention,” Engelbert wrote in the memo, which was sent Friday afternoon and obtained by The Associated Press. “I wanted to reach out to share how we are approaching these conversations at the league office and to thank those of you who have responded to questions from the media with thoughtfulness and professionalism.”
The memo said the topic will be discussed further by a task force of team presidents and general managers at a previously scheduled meeting next week. In an ESPN article published last month, Indiana Fever player Sophie Cunningham voiced support for barring transgender girls and women from girls’ and women’s sports. Cunningham’s comments sparked small rallies and protests in Seattle and Portland when the Fever were on the road last week. There was a lone protester at the Fever’s home game against Las Vegas on Thursday night. Indiana visits Chicago on Saturday. Members of two conservative groups are planning a rally in support of Cunningham ahead of that game. The league hasn’t made any public comments on the issue. Engelbert wrote that the league will “always approach this topic thoughtfully, respectfully, and in alignment with the longstanding values of our league. Second, our player eligibility rules, unlike the eligibility rules of some other leagues and governing bodies, are collectively bargained. Lastly, preserving the integrity of our game and ensuring fair competition will always remain among the league’s highest priorities.” The league’s collective bargaining agreement states that “only players who are women are eligible to play in the WNBA,” but it does not include any more specific language about gender identity or sex assigned at birth. On Friday, two former NBA players, Enes Kanter Freedom and Royce White, declared themselves eligible for the WNBA draft, saying they identify as women. “We recognize that this is a complex and nuanced topic, and we will continue to have important conversations with all of you and the Players Association in the weeks and months ahead,” Engelbert said in the memo. “We also plan to convene additional discussions and offer listening sessions for any team leaders who would like to participate. Your perspectives and feedback are invaluable, and I appreciate those who have already reached out to share their thoughts.” The WNBA players’ association released a statement on social media Friday that emphasized diversity and inclusion while saying the group “will not be used as political pawns.” “We embrace justice equity, diversity, and inclusion,” the statement read. “Those are the values that unite this Union and allow it to protect women’s sports while creating transformational change. Hate, abuse, and demonization of any person or group of people, including transgender people, only fuel fear, division, and harm. We will continue to have hard conversations. But we will not be used as political pawns.” Some WNBA players and coaches have come out in support of transgender athletes, including Seattle Storm center Stefanie Dolson and Minnesota Lynx coach Cheryl Reeve. “We need to protect trans kids,” Reeve said on Aug. 1. “To me, it’s a human rights issue. Every kid has a right to sports.”
