Taylor Frankie Paul left a flirty comment for The Bachelorette season 22 contestant Doug Mason following ABC’s decision to shelve the show.

Doug, 28, shared a clip of a new song via Instagram on Monday, March 30, where he crooned to his “baby girl” over multiple shots of a duck walking around a parking lot.

After Taylor replied, “Awe I see what you did here 🦆,” in the comments section, some eagle-eyed fans began to contemplate if there was a hidden inside joke between the two.

Her Bachelorette costar kept the mystery alive by responding to Taylor with a “hands over ears” emoji and an “I don’t know” emoji.

ABC shelved The Bachelorette earlier this month after the release of a shocking video from Taylor’s 2023 domestic violence arrest and news that she and ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen were under investigation over separate allegations from February. (Since that time, a third violence investigation based on an alleged 2024 incident has been opened against Taylor by Utah’s West Jordan Police Department.)

Doug previously publicly supported Taylor in the wake of the controversy.

“In light of everything that has happened, I am just sending prayers to Taylor because that was her moment and her moment was blocked,” Doug wrote via Instagram on March 20. “All we can do right now is just be hopeful, and I am headed off to run to watch the sunrise.”

Doug went on, “I hope you guys have a great day, and let’s stay positive and show nothing but support for people in need.”

A Secret Lives of Mormon Wives fan later shared Doug’s supportive post, with Taylor commenting, “Aw my heart goes out to him. So sweet.”

When fans later called for Doug to get his own Bachelor season in the future, he seemed open to the idea, writing, “Let’s goooo.”

While The Bachelorette season 22 will seemingly remain on the cutting room floor for now, Rachel Recchia and Charity Lawson will soon give fans a chance to get to know the would-be contestants by interviewing them on the official “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast.

“Bachelor Happy Hour’ will be the only place that you are gonna hear directly from the men of Taylor’s cast,” Charity, 30, announced on Friday, March 27.

As for the future of The Bachelorette, Us Weekly learned on Tuesday, March 24, that ABC has no plans at this stage to bring in another Bachelorette as a replacement for Taylor. There is no word yet on whether one of Taylor’s suitors will become the next Bachelor, though producers reportedly had their eye on contenders before season 22 was canceled.

ABC’s only comment thus far has been to release a statement on March 19. “In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of The Bachelorette at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family,” a rep for the network shared.

Taylor’s spokesperson, meanwhile, thanked the network for its “support” in the wake of her Bachelorette season being dropped.

“Taylor is very grateful for ABC’s support as she prioritizes her family’s safety and security,” her rep told Us on March 19. “After years of silently suffering extensive mental and physical abuse as well as threats of retaliation, Taylor is finally gaining the strength to face her accuser and taking steps to ensure that she and her children are protected from any further harm.”

Marvel Studios hasn’t officially said much about Spider-Man: Brand New Day, but after the first trailer dropped, fans are already convinced it’s hiding some major reveals.

From a possible Man-Spider transformation to the long-rumored arrival of the X-Men, the internet is breaking down every frame for clues. While nothing has been confirmed, several theories have quickly gained traction and could hint at where the MCU is heading next.

A Darker Peter Parker Has Fans Thinking “Man-Spider”

One of the biggest talking points from the trailer is the noticeably darker tone surrounding Peter Parker.

Quick shots appear to show:

• A more aggressive Spider-Man

• Subtle physical changes in his appearance

• A loss of control over his powers

That has led many fans to speculate Marvel could be adapting elements of the “Man-Spider” storyline, where Peter undergoes a disturbing mutation tied to his spider abilities.

In Marvel Comics, the Man-Spider arc has been explored in several forms, often depicting Peter losing control as his powers evolve beyond what he can manage. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Spider-Man theory cycle without talk of the black suit.

Following the ending of Spider-Man: No Way Home, where a fragment of the Venom symbiote was left behind in the MCU, fans have long expected that storyline to pay off. The Brand New Day trailer has only added fuel to that fire.

Some viewers believe the darker visuals and Peter’s behavior could hint at early symbiote influence. Others think Marvel may combine elements of the symbiote storyline with a Man-Spider-style mutation, creating a new hybrid take on Spider-Man’s transformation.

While there’s no direct confirmation of Venom appearing, the groundwork has clearly been laid.

Sadie Sink’s Role Is Already a Mystery

Another major topic of discussion is Sadie Sink’s casting.

Marvel has yet to reveal who she’s playing, but that hasn’t stopped speculation from running wild. The most popular theory right now is that Sink could be portraying Jean Grey, which would mark a massive step toward introducing mutants into the MCU.

The idea has gained traction online, especially as Marvel continues to build toward a post-Secret Wars future that likely includes the X-Men.

However, not everyone is convinced.

She’s pushing Naomi to come clean about her BRCA status, but the timing’s wrong. And she confides in Ashley. She just really wants Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) home and all the danger over and done with.

Little does Ashley know that her man Grayson Perez (Jordie Vilasuso) is neck deep in the same danger, plus the real risk of going to prison. Plus, their boss, Dr. Lia Whitmore (Cecelia Specht), wants Grayson to stick his neck out more by poking around in Dana ‘Leslie’ Thomas‘s (Trisha Mann-Grant) free clinic.

Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Kat Rages

Kat Richardson (Colby Muhammad) gets into Lynette Wise’s (Dominique Madison) face, and probably it’s about Tomas “Tom” Hernandez (Alex Alegria). He may confide in Kat more that he was trying to get info on Lynette, and now she and Hayley are making him look bad to Big Bill Hamilton. Hayley is done trying to poison Bill for now and instead tries to poison her hubby against Tomas. Hayley knows if Tomas keeps digging into Lynette, it’ll lead right back to her and reveal her as a con woman. And Hayley could lose everything. And Lynette is not making things easy.

This week, Tomas tells Bill, you know, I didn’t do this, but Bill says, “My wife says otherwise, are you calling her a liar?” And of course, Tomas has to tell Bill, “No, no, of course not.” But really, yes. I think Tomas suspects Hayley is lying and is up to something with Lynette. I think he’s going to keep on digging.

Smitty and Jacob are stunned by where a new lead in the red market plasma case takes them. I wonder if Grayson will finally admit he’s being pressured by Chief of Staff Lia. Of course, I suspect that Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) is in on this as well with Randy Parker (Maurice P. Kerry) also possibly tied to it.

Tuesday, March 31st: Season 2, Episode 60

Tuesday, March 31st on Beyond the Gates is season 2, episode 60. And Bill wants some assistance from Joey. And I wonder if Bill’s going to ask Joey to look into little Lynette after Tomas swears that he wasn’t doing what Hayley said he was. Bill’s had a bad feeling about Lynette. He thought she was on the grift all along. And Joey already knows Hayley is shady as heck and a liar. So if Joey asked Randy to look into Lynette, that could get twisted really fast.

Tomas is holding on to a secret. And I wonder if he’s figured out Hayley’s tied to Lynette and keeping it in his back pocket until he needs to play that card.

Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) and Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) try something they have not before. Maybe in the bedroom or maybe something more like axe throwing or an escape room.

Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Ted Shocks Shanice

Chelsea Hamilton (RhonniRose Mantilla) upsets Kat, but she doesn’t mean to. And I wonder if she’s going to tell Chelsea about what’s going on with Tomas at work. And Chelsea may wonder if Tomas is not so innocent and maybe was actually flirting with Lynette.

Dr. Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) shocks Shanice Johnson (Ernestine Johnson) when some words fall out of his mouth. Maybe. And I wonder if Ted’s going to up and say, “I love you.” He does seem to be all up in his feels about Shanice. And since Dr. Nicole Dupree Richardson (Daphnee Duplaix) is okay with what’s going on, I mean, why not go for it if that’s what he feels? He does seem very smitten.

Wednesday, April 1st: Season 2, Episode 61

Wednesday, April 1st on Beyond the Gates, we’ve got season two, episode 61. And spoilers say that Carlton Fitzgerald (Robert Christopher Riley) decides to mix it up with Joey during their double date with them, Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) and Nicole. So, they’re out at Uptown.

Vanessa’s looking upset, and Joey slaps back at Carlton, saying, “Oh, how I wish I could be one of you self-righteous do-gooders.” This seems to be directed towards both Nicole and Carlton. And Joey says, “Politicians and all those dead bodies, literally.” And of course, Nicole and Carlton are both looking annoyed, but it looks like he started it, not Joey.

Eva Thomas Richardson (Ambyr Michelle) heads over to Joey’s casino to vent about something. And it must be about the free clinic that he’s co-funding with her mom. And I wonder if Joey only agreed to do this with Leslie to open up a new avenue for plasma sources for him and Lia to resell and get in good with Vanessa by throwing that plaque up there about Dr. Doug McBride (Jason Graham).

Donnell McBride (Alex Cheeks) opens up to Kat and I wonder if it’s about Anita Dupree‘s (Tamara Tunie) health crisis, the Cotillion, or some other family matters.

One of Hayley’s lies from the past is still bothering Naomi, who’s holding it over her head. But honestly, which lie? Hayley has told so many from the time she first wormed her way into their family, ruined Dani and Bill’s marriage, and stole him away.

Thursday, April 2nd: Season 2, Episode 62

Thursday, April 2nd is season 2, episode 62 of Beyond the Gates. And we’ve got Tomas at a crossroads in his career because of what Hayley has done. And he’s got to decide what to do. And I wonder if Kat may intervene and chew Bill a new one for not believing Tomas when Bill knows that Hayley has a shady lying past because of how they got together. Of course, if Kat goes to Bill, he might think Tomas has been talking out of school and it could actually make things worse.

Vanessa takes Joey’s side. She’s all in with him. And it definitely looks like Carlton was the one who provoked Joey. He didn’t start it, but he finished it. And if Nicole presses her, I feel that Vanessa is going to say that she’s with Joey, period.

Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Nicole’s Dilemma

Like it or not, Nicole is really annoyed with Carlton. And it is probably about how he behaves on their double date with Joey because Carlton didn’t need to start something with Nicole’s best friend’s guy, but Carlton’s going to do Carlton. And guess what? Looks like because of what he did, Nicole’s going to go over and do Dr. Kyle Rollins (Greg Vaughn).

So, it seems that Nicole heads over to Kyle’s place and she may use the key he gave her to slip into his bed after she walks out on Carlton. Next week, Nicole is in bed with Kyle at his place. And looks like he wakes up to find Nicole there. And Kyle says, “If this is a dream, my subconscious has great taste.” And they are getting frisky.

Lynette extorts Hayley and she tells Lynette, “You’re putting me in a difficult position,” but Lynette doesn’t care. And she claps back with the threat that she will blow Hayley’s plan sky high. You cannot negotiate with terrorists. And that’s what Lynette is. And I wonder at what point that Hayley is going to poison Lynette or ask Randy to get rid of his boo.

Bill talks to Dani about the future. Dani knows Bill is hitting the brakes on baby making with Hayley, but is Bill going to tell Dani he’s thinking of calling it quits on his marriage?

Friday, April 3rd: Season 2, Episode 63

Friday, April 3rd on Beyond the Gates, it’s season 2, episode 63. And fresh off taking Kyle to bed, Nicole takes Kyle to brunch with the Duprees at Fairmont Crest Country Club for Easter. Not only is the Easter Bunny there, but a special guest star. I also wonder if Carlton is going to show up and see Kyle there and realize that he is distinctly in second place in the race to win Nicole’s heart and falling back fast.

Anita is in a glorious silver wig. She’s looking healthy and introduces to everybody at the country club that she is very pleased to welcome Jennifer Holliday who is performing as an Easter treat. So, we’re going to get some songs on Friday.

Ted has some advice for Carlton, who is totally blowing it with Nicole. I mean, Carlton thought he was going to slide in there and wife her up, and Nicole’s not having it. She doesn’t like Carlton being heavy-handed all the time, and Kyle is looking like a much more appealing option.

Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Anita Claps Back

Anita claps back on nasty Anastasia Belleclaire (Timeca Seretti) and lets her know her place. And it looks like Bill and Hayley are also at Fairmont Crest because she is feeling self-conscious now that Bill is back in good with the Duprees. So good that he is probably going to be the co-executor of Anita’s will. Meanwhile, the whole family still hates Hayley and rightly so.

Somebody threatens Grayson. It may be his horrible boss at work and at the plasma ring, Lia. She’s pushing him to recruit Derek Baldwin (Ben Gavin), but Grayson already told Lia that’s not going to happen for a lot of reasons, but she’s not going to listen. Or it could be from Jacob, who is pressing Grayson for more info on the higher-ups and isn’t going to let Grayson keep lying and saying he doesn’t know what’s what.

Also, Naomi finds a way to sneak some time with her hubby, Jacob.

Brittany Renner was seemingly cutting her son’s father, PJ Washington, a lil’ slack while addressing one of his fans. Then his wife, Alisah Chanel, stepped into the comment section. In response, Renner hopped in her petty bag, sending a message to Alisah loaded with shade and a co-parenting reminder for their “BD.” Here’s how it all unfolded in The Shade Room’s comment section!

Just when fans thought that Pip Fitz was about to enjoy a break from the drama, Netflix has announced a follow-up season to the popular series A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder. As of this writing, details are already beginning to emerge, showing that the upcoming slate of episodes will be even darker than the first. Fans will also revel in the news that many of their favorite characters will return for another crime being solved by Britain’s modern-era Nancy Drew.

The Good Girls Rundown

Season 1 follows 17-year-old Pip Fitz-Amobi (Wednesday co-star Emma Myers), a college-bound student who decides to delve into a controversial topic for her Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). Five years earlier, teenage girl Andi Bell disappeared from Pip’s small English village. Andi is widely believed to have been murdered by her boyfriend Sal (Rahul Pattni), though her body was never discovered. Before the police could charge him, Sal sent a text message to his family, apologizing for his actions. His body was discovered soon after, his death ruled a homicide.

Several items surrounding Andi’s disappearance never sat well with Pip, who was one of the last people to have seen the teen alive. Pip begins her research into the case, conducting interviews with Sal and Andi’s friends and family. The inconsistencies in the death timeline, contradicting statements from witnesses, and the revelation that Sal had an alibi when Andi disappeared feed into both Pip’s obsession with solving the case as well as several locals who appear to be preparing to harm the young sleuth.

Though the true killer is eventually revealed (along with two others who committed separate crimes), the mystery will only deepen with Season 2. When a key witness for the trial of Max Hastings disappears, Pip avows to find him. But she finds herself at odds with the small community she calls home, which was torn apart by all of the revelations unveiled by Pip’s detective work in Season 1. Again the target of violent threats, Pip will eventually have to decide what is more important: the truth or her life.

Fan-Favorite Characters Return In The Best Ways

Myers will not be the only familiar face for the second season. Zai Iqbal, who played Pip’s sidekick and love interest, returns in the role of Ravi. Henry Ashton once again plays Max Hastings, with Asha Banks (Cara Ward), Jude Morgan Collie (Connor Reynolds), and Misia Butler (Kaos co-star Stanley Forbes) resuming their characters from the first season.

The second season will feature six episodes. Like season one, expect a running time of less than 60 minutes each, making it easily bingeable. Fans are already speculating about additional seasons, though no formal announcement beyond season two has been made.

The series did respectably well, garnering an average rating of 6.8/10 on IMDB and receiving an 82-percent approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The first season was also awarded a ReFrame Stamp, an award given to shows that are portrayed as a “gender-balanced production.”

A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is based on the New York Times best-selling books by Holly Jackson. The first book was published in 2019, with Good Girl, Bad Blood released a year later. Two more follow-ups were given to eager fans in 2021, a prequel titled Kill Joy and As Good As Dead. The books have been the recipients of multiple literary awards, including the YA Book Prize, the British Book Awards (Children’s Fiction Book of the Year), and the American Library Association’s Amazing Audiobooks For Young Adults Award.

As of this writing, no official release date has been set by either Netflix or the BBC. Fans can expect the new season sometime later in 2026. Grey’s Anatomy wasn’t the only show that killed off a major character in 2026 — and many of those fictional deaths still have fans upset.

During the March 2026 episode of the hit ABC series, Lucas (Niko Terho) and Simone (Alexis Floyd) were providing Katie (Samantha Marie Ware) with at-home hospice care as her health declined.

Lucas and Katie grew closer while reminiscing on what could have happened between them if she hadn’t gotten sick. She ultimately died when he was at the hospital getting more supplies, which prevented him from saying goodbye.

Earlier in the month, Yellowstone‘s spinoff Marshals surprised fans by revealing that Monica (Kelsey Asbille) died off screen after battling cancer.

“Kayce had such a perfect ending in Yellowstone,” showrunner Spencer Hudnut told TVLine at the time. “His dreams had finally come true. As we were trying to figure out how to tell the next chapter in Kayce’s story, it felt like he really needed to be shaken out of that. Unfortunately, tragedy tends to find Kayce, so something bad was going to happen for him one way or the other. It just sort of played out that it was going to be Monica.”

A March 2026 episode of Luke Grimes‘ Yellowstone spinoff revealed that Kayce Dutton’s wife Monica (Kelsey Asbille) previously died after she got cancer as a result of toxins dumped onto the Broken Rock reservation.

John (‘Bridgerton’)

Fans of Julia Quinn’s book series knew that John (Victor Alli) would die in his sleep on the Netflix show. This would then pave the way for Francesca (Hannah Dodd) to find love with his cousin, Michaela (Masali Baduza), in season 5.

Eleven (‘Stranger Things’)

During the show’s series finale (which aired in December 2025 but it is all we could think about going into 2026), Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) survived multiple near-death experiences while fighting to destroy Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower). Eleven was ultimately able to face — and kill — Vecna once and for all, but she didn’t return to Hawkins. Instead, Eleven remained in the Upside Down to make sure her friends survived and weren’t constantly in danger because of her existence.

The time jump at the end of the episode showed that Eleven was thought to be dead. Mike (Finn Wolfhard), however, suggested another theory where she survived and disappeared to live her life outside of Hawkins.
