Raven-Symoné Raven Baxter Black Podcast Video Miss Teen USA Contestant Gloria Almonte Black Girl

Days after a resurfaced podcast clip rocked the internet, Raven-Symoné remains a trending topic. The Disney icon landed in the internet’s hot seat after appearing to question the race of her ‘That’s So Raven’ character, Raven Baxter. The actress and her wife, Miranda Maday, have yet to address the viral video. However, the featured guest on it, Kalen Allen, claimed to be receiving death threats. Now, another voice, former Miss Teen USA contestant Gloria Almonte, has entered the chat, recalling a comment 15-year-old Raven-Symoné made to her 25 years ago.

Why Is Raven-Symoné Trending This Week?

Back in April, Kalen Allen appeared on Raven-Symoné and Miranda Maday’s ‘Tea Time.’ At one point, they discussed Raven’s Blackness, the Disney show ‘That’s So Raven’ and the character Raven Baxter. The viral clip starts with Raven explaining that her Blackness “can look so many different ways.” Kalen Allen then chimes in. He says Raven-Symoné was set up because “Raven Baxter was so f**king Black…” However,  Raven replied, “Was she Black?” Also, she challenged him to take the color out of the show and listen to the words. Some of the reactions to the clip include fans recounting why Raven Baxter was definitely Black in the show.

Gloria Almonte Shares Past Interaction With Raven

Amid the Raven Baxter debate, Gloria Almonte shared a story about 15-year-old Raven-Symoné that also went viral. Three days ago, on Threads, the former Miss Teen USA contestant claimed to have spoken to Raven at the pageant on August 22, 2001. At the time, Rae would’ve been about 15 years old and Almonte claimed she was one of the celebrity judges. Almonte recalled how Raven allegedly spoke of the winner, Miss Missouri.

“At the coronation party she was all over me saying how she didn’t vote for the Black girl (Miss Missouri the winner) she voted for me! And, her little brother loved me and wanted pics with me. In that moment, my mind reeling from being on live TV and losing my dream and all the people, interviews, etc. Her comment just flew over my head and I didn’t think anything of it.”

Gloria added that she didn’t overthink it at the time due to the intensity of the pageant itself. However, she seemed to call out Raven’s choice of words, adding that she’s Puerto Rican. “What is wrong with this woman,” she wrote.

Bringing Up Bates alum Katie Bates is clearing up rumors that she and husband Travis Clark are expanding their family after reconciling following his affair scandal.

During a Saturday, September 5, Instagram Story Q&A session, Bates, 25, acknowledged that she received “lots” of questions about whether she is pregnant.

“No, I’m not pregnant,” Bates clarified. “[I’m] just soaking in the two sweet babies we have.”

Katie, one of Gil and Kelly Jo Bates’ 19 children, has been married to Clark, 25, since 2021. The couple are parents to daughter Hailey, 3, and son Harvey, 23 months.

Bringing Up Bates alum Travis Clark publicly celebrated his wife, Katie Bates, less than three months before admitting he was unfaithful in their marriage. “Happy 25th to the easiest person in the world to celebrate,” Clark, 24, wrote via Instagram in October 2025. “You love so deeply, give so much of yourself to everything you […]

Katie announced in January that she suffered a pregnancy loss with what would have been the pair’s third child. The next day, Clark publicly apologized for his infidelity.

“This is hard to write, but I owe the truth and I owe an apology. I was unfaithful to my wife,” Clark wrote via his Instagram Stories at the time. “I had an affair and repeatedly broke her trust. There is no excuse for what I did. This was my failure and my responsibility alone. I know that words don’t begin to express the damage I caused or the depth of the hurt I’ve brought into her life, but I am truly sorry.”

Katie and Clark have since been working through the nursing student’s cheating scandal and attending couple’s therapy.

“I’ve been sitting in what I did for a couple months now, and I feel so much inside but it’s hard to find the right words,” Clark wrote via Instagram in March, addressing the scandal. “At the end of last year, I made decisions I deeply regret. I’m disappointed, ashamed, and honestly, disgusted with myself.”

He continued at the time, “The last couple months have been humbling. A lot of hard work, therapy, time with God. I know I’m not owed anything, but I am desperately fighting for my wife and my family every single day.”

Amid their reconciliation, Katie and Clark relocated their family of four to Texas while reprioritizing their relationship and shared faith.

“On June 28th, 2026, I finally stopped running. I gave my life to Jesus and began a new life in Christ. Today I was baptized,” Clark wrote via Instagram last month. “To be honest, most of my life I’ve been running and chasing and I didn’t even realize it. I had an amazing life, a beautiful wife and family I loved, opportunities, money, a career, and somehow I was still deeply empty after reaching so many of the things I thought would fulfill me. In December of last year, I woke up frustrated, confused, exhausted, and started questioning almost everything I had ever believed.”

Katie replied, “Love you.”

I’m all for showing some skin, but sometimes I simply feel better with my upper arms covered. Instead of hiding underneath layers this autumn, I’m opting for flattering fall dresses with strategically roomy sleeves.

I landed on the following 13 fall dresses for hiding underarm ‘bat wings,’ including sweater dressesburgundy knits and little black dresses. Even better, the lineup starts at $14, so go ahead and snag a style (or two, or three) for the season ahead!

13 Slimming Fall Dresses That Hide Underarm ‘Bat Wings’

1. Our Favorite: I’m a sucker for a dress with pockets, and this ribbed shift dress is a total winner. Plus, it easily pairs with sneakers for errands, lunch and everything in between.

2. Beautiful Burgundy: The long sleeves on this loose knit midi dress disguise underarm bat wings, while the flowy A-line skirt flatters the hips.

3. Fall Florals: Who says florals are only for spring and summer? I’m keeping them in rotation with this smocked floral dress, which has billowy long sleeves for plenty of coverage and a mini length that looks especially cute with white sneakers.

4. Sweater Weather: Consider this turtleneck sweater dress your fall outfit formula. The roomy long sleeves completely cover the upper arms, while the side slit keeps the midi silhouette from feeling overwhelming.

5. Cute and Casual: A pair of slim cream leather sneakers would make this floral mini dress an easy weekend outfit. The three-quarter sleeves offer coverage without feeling as heavy as a full-length layer.

6. Burgundy Beauty: Few colors get me more excited for fall than burgundy, so this long-sleeve sweater dress immediately caught my eye. I like how the streamlined silhouette balances out the completely covered arms.

7. Olive Obsession: I’d personally go straight for olive in this smocked babydoll dress, but there are plenty of other shades and prints if green isn’t your thing. The fitted bodice and billowy sleeves also give it that flattering mix of shape and coverage I’m after.

8. Desk to Dinner: This button-front sweater dress is exactly the kind of piece I’d wear with sneakers for the morning commute, then change into heels at my desk. Come dinner, the fitted silhouette already feels polished enough for evening plans.

9. Fall Florals: Instead of another printed floral, I’m drawn to the subtle floral texture on this chocolate-brown dress. The semi-sheer sleeves keep the upper arms covered without taking away from its light, feminine feel.

10. Belt It: I love that this camel sweater dress can be worn loose or cinched with a belt when I want more definition. I’d add suede sneakers for a casual day, then belt it and switch to boots when temperatures really drop.

11. Pretty in Pleats: I’m drawn to the movement of this textured fall dress, from its billowy sleeves to its tiered skirt. The rich burgundy shade makes the whole floaty silhouette feel especially right for fall.

12. Throw-On Hero: When I don’t know what to wear, a black waffle-knit dress like this is my favorite solution. I’d pair it with low-profile leather sneakers for running errands, grabbing coffee or meeting friends for lunch.

13. Easy Elegance: I love how this long-sleeve maxi dress manages to look polished without feeling fussy. The smocked empire waist, billowy sleeves and rich brown shade do most of the styling for me.

Elizabeth Smarts Trainer Breaks Down Her Health and Fitness Routine for Bodybuilding Competitions

Elizabeth Smart is continuing her newfound bodybuilding pursuits with great strength — literally.

“Another show for the books! Had such a blast,” Smart, 38, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, September 5, sharing footage from the North American Championships competition this week. “I’ve always said ‘just stepping on stage is a win for me!’ And I completely stand by that.”

Smart sported a blue micro bikini as she competed in the Masters 35+ and Open Class D categories based on age and height, respectively.

“I placed at the bottom of both classes. Regardless of where I placed, I loved the whole experience, had an amazing coach (@slcrobynmaher), got to step onstage with my best friend (@mpholsombake), and had the best support squad in the audience I could ask for,” she noted. “I brought a better physique and stage presence than at my previous shows, and I’m so proud of myself for the hard work, discipline and bravery it takes me to compete. So here’s to pursuing goals and not giving up!”

Elizabeth Smart’s fitness coach, Robyn Maher, is sharing the secrets behind her bodybuilding competition success. “She followed a plan, a healthy meal plan, all this time,” Maher shared in an interview with Extra published on Wednesday, April 22. “And then weight training most days of the week. So typically, five to six days a week […]

Sharing more images from the competition to her Instagram Stories, Smart revealed her husband, Matthew Gilmour, dutifully cheered her own despite the loss. (Smart and Gilmour, who have been married since 2012, share three children.)

“So grateful for all of Matthew’s support,” she gushed.

Smart debuted her passion for bodybuilding in April, noting via Instagram that she wanted to demonstrate that survivors are more than just the trauma they endured. (The advocate was kidnapped in 2002 when she was 14 years old. She claimed she was physically, sexually and psychologically abused during her nine months of captivity.)

“I think it’s easy to be labeled as one thing, and honestly, that’s not me nor do I think it’s any of us. We are more than just one topic, one idea, one label,” Smart said. “I am interested in many things, and as I get older I realize more and more how important it is to make the most of today, we don’t know what tomorrow brings. I don’t want to reach the end of my life and look back and feel regret for only living a half-life, not going after all the things I want to do and try.”

At the time, Smart noted that entering the bodybuilding world “was a big change.”

“It was hard, it pushed me, challenged me not to give up. I am so proud of myself for doing this. I am so proud of my body, and I want to celebrate it,” she stated. “My body has carried me through every worst day, every hellish grueling experience, it’s created and nurtured three beautiful children, my body has risen to every single challenge life has presented it with, and carried me through so I refuse to be ashamed of it. I refuse to feel embarrassed about trying something new and am embracing my chance at life to the absolute fullest I can.”

Inside the Facility Where Lindsay Clancy Stays After Mistrial

Where Is Lindsay Clancy Being Kept During Her Trial? Details on Her Housing Amid Murder Charges

Lindsay Clancy will remain in custody at a mental health facility after a Massachusetts judge declared a mistrial in the mother’s high-profile triple-murder case.

“I’m going to declare a mistrial at this point,” Judge William Sullivan announced in court on Friday, September 4, before granting Clancy’s defense team one hour to file an emergency appeal. The appeal was ultimately denied and the deadlocked 11-1 jury was dismissed.

Clancy was on trial for the murder of her three children — Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months — before attempting to die by suicide. The mother has admitted to strangling her children to death, but argues she should not be held responsible due to her well-documented mental health issues, including postpartum depression, postpartum psychosis and bipolar disorder.

The prosecution representing the Commonwealth of Massachusetts claims that despite her mental health issues, Clancy was aware of her actions and acted in a premeditated manner when she killed her children.

UPDATE — 9/04/26, 5:10 p.m. ET: The judge presiding over Lindsay Clancy‘s nearly six-week murder trial officially declared a mistrial on Friday, September 4, after jurors were unable to reach a unanimous decision and were deadlocked 11-1. Clancy’s attorney was granted a hail mary opportunity to petition a higher court to put the Judge’s decision […]

As both the prosecution and the defense prepare for the likelihood of a retrial, a GoFundMe for Clancy’s parents, Michael Musgrave and Paula Musgrave, has increased its overall goal to $3 million as the mother remains in custody and under psychiatric care at Tewksbury State Hospital.

Learn more about the facility where the Clancy will stay as she awaits her fate below:

Where Will Lindsay Clancy Stay After the Mistrial

Clancy will remain at the Tewksbury State Hospital located in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, where she has remained since her 2023 arrest.

What Is Tewksbury State Hospital?

Tewksbury State Hospital is a comprehensive mental health care facility located on a 700 acre parcel of land capable of housing 370 patients at one time. The main hospital is 700,000 square feet, per the website, and features 12 patient care units. There are 41 buildings in total, equalling 1.1 million square feet of facility space.

In 2017, the facility housed, on average, 361 patients every day.

The facility is also a Joint Commission accredited hospital, per the facility’s website, meaning it adheres to a globally established gold standard for healthcare quality and patient safety, including rigorous international benchmarks focused on patient rights, access to care, facility safety, medication management and more.

The facility focuses on providing health care for those struggling with both physical and mental ailments.

What Type of Care does Tewksbury State Hospital Provide?

According to the facility’s website, the Tewksbury State Hospital provided “a broad range of services” to patients, including “a physician on site at all times, around-the-clock nursing care, rehabilitation services including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, psychology services, social services, nutritional services and an on-site dialysis clinic.”

The facility also boasts a slew of speciality services for patients who need additional care, including a neurologic rehabilitation unit, a Huntington’s Disease program, substance abuse disorder and High Risk Services, staff with Department of Corrections backgrounds and a “multidisciplinary staff provides psychiatric, psychological, and neurobehavioral care to patients with both significant mental health issues and complex medical needs.”

After a Massachusetts judge declared a mistrial in Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial due to a deadlocked jury, it’s not currently clear whether she’ll be retried for the killings of her three children. Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz said there hasn’t been a decision on a retrial while addressing reporters following the mistrial declaration […]

The hospital’s website also dedicates a section to detail how it provides care to what it describes as its “challenging patients.”

“Tewksbury Hospital provides services to individuals who are not able to receive services in other settings,” the website reads. “The average patient admitted has been denied placement by 3 or more health care facilities because of behavioral issues and/or due to a high risk history which necessitates increased resources to provide a safe environment.”

In order to provide a high standard of care, the facility also works with five separate Massachusetts state agencies: Department of Health, Department of Mental Health Regional Offices, MassHealth Department of Medical Assistance, Department of Public Safety and the Mass Emergency Management Agency (MEMA).

Does Tewksbury State Hospital Allow Visitors?

Yes, the facility does host visitation hours for its patients, though circumstances and hours can vary depending on a patient’s needs.

Suggested hours for family or friends to visit patients obtaining physical health care are Sunday through Saturday, 10 am to 8 pm. For patients in need of mental health care, suggested visitation hours are Monday through Friday, 1 pm to 4 pm and 6pm to 8pm.

When speaking to the press following the mistrial, Clancy’s defense attorney Kevin Reddington reiterated that his client has been visited by a number of nurses and a chaplain since her arrest.

“She had people who would meet her, nurses who would know her and visit with her,” Reddington said at the time. “A chaplain who never knew her, who went for three years and continues to visit with her because of the type of person she is.”

Camp Crystal Lake · Friday the 13th

Jason Voorhees

Jason is relentless, but he is also predictable — and that is the gap you would exploit.

  • He moves in straight lines toward his target. He doesn’t strategise, doesn’t adapt, doesn’t outsmart. He simply pursues.
  • Your ability to keep moving, use the environment, and resist the panic that freezes most victims gives you a genuine edge.
  • The Crystal Lake survivors were always the ones who stopped running in circles and started thinking about terrain, water, and distance.
  • You think like that. Which means Jason, for all his indestructibility, would face someone who simply refused to be where he expected.

Haddonfield, Illinois · Halloween

Michael Myers

Michael watches before he moves. He is patient, methodical, and almost impossible to detect — until it’s too late for anyone who isn’t paying close enough attention.

  • But you are paying attention. You notice the shape in the window, the car parked slightly wrong, the silence where there should be sound.
  • Michael’s power lies in the invisibility of ordinary suburbia — the fact that nothing ever looks wrong until it already is.
  • Your spatial awareness and instinct to map every room, every exit, and every shadow before you need them is precisely the quality Laurie Strode had.
  • You are not a victim waiting to happen. You are someone who already suspects something is wrong — and acts on it.

Elm Street · A Nightmare on Elm Street

Freddy Krueger

Freddy wins by getting inside your head — using your own fears, your own memories, your own subconscious as weapons against you. That strategy requires a target who can be destabilised.

  • You are harder to destabilise than most. You’ve faced uncomfortable truths about yourself and you haven’t looked away.
  • The survivors on Elm Street were always the ones who understood what was happening and chose to face it rather than flee from it.
  • Freddy’s greatest weakness is that his power evaporates in the presence of someone who refuses to give him the fear he feeds on.
  • Your psychological resilience — the ability to stay grounded when reality itself becomes unreliable — is exactly the quality that keeps you alive here.

Derry, Maine · It

Pennywise

Pennywise is ancient, shapeshifting, and feeds on terror — but it has one critical vulnerability: it cannot function against someone who genuinely stops being afraid of it.

  • The Losers Club didn’t survive because they were braver than everyone else. They survived because they faced their fears together, and faced them honestly.
  • You ask the questions others avoid. You look directly at what frightens you rather than turning away.
  • That directness — the refusal to let fear fester in the dark — is Pennywise’s worst nightmare.
  • It chose the wrong target when it chose you. You are exactly the kind of person whose fear tastes like nothing at all.

Chicago · Child’s Play

Chucky

Chucky’s greatest advantage is that nobody takes him seriously until it’s already too late. He exploits the gap between how something looks and what it actually is.

  • You don’t have that gap. You take threats seriously regardless of how they present — and you never make the mistake of underestimating something because of its size or appearance.
  • Chucky relies on surprise, on the delay between recognition and response. You close that delay faster than almost anyone.
  • Your instinct to treat every unfamiliar thing with appropriate scepticism — rather than dismissing it because it seems absurd — is the exact quality that keeps you breathing.
  • Against Chucky, not laughing is already winning. You are very good at not laughing.

‘Pet Sematary’ Could Have Been Better

Directed by Kevin Kölsch and Dennis Widmyer, with a screenplay by Jeff Buhler, many believe Pet Sematary is worse than King’s novel mainly because it replaces slow psychological tension with typical jump-scares and changes important plot details. Critics’ reviews on Rotten Tomatoes also reflect this sentiment, noting that while the adaptation “takes its source material in a few different directions,” it feels more like “an exhuming almost as often as it does a revival.” The 58% RT series starring Jason Clarke, Amy Seimetz, and Lithgow. After moving from Boston to rural Maine with their two children, the Creed family finds a mysterious graveyard in the woods behind their new house that can resurrect the dead.

Pet Sematary streams for free on Kanopy in a few weeks. Stay tuned to Collider for more streaming coverage.

18 Years Later, This Sleeper Hit Sci-Fi Series Is Quietly Climbing the Streaming Charts

Published

on

DOOM: The Dark Ages - The Doom Slayer appears

After all the subpar Terminator sequels to hit theaters in the past few decades, it’s easy to forget that there are other franchise installments out there that actually work. While the movies are often hit-or-miss, television has been one medium that has elevated the James Cameron-created concept to something more philosophically engaging than any of the action-focused sequels. One such series, in particular, has recently begun to chart on the Apple TV Store, proving that audiences are hungry to see the war against Skynet continue. If you guessed Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, you’re right on the money.

‘Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles’ Went Beyond the Typical ‘Terminator’ Plot

The two-season Terminator continuation hit Fox at a weird time. The first season aired in the midst of the Writers’ Strike of 2007-’08, only a few years after the previous film installment, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, tried and failed to recapture the magic of Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Even stranger, another sequel, Terminator Salvation, was in the works at the same time The Sarah Connor Chronicles hit the network, so the program had a lot stacked against it from the get-go. But truth be told, the series is the best (and certainly the most creatively engaging) entry in the larger franchise after James Cameron’s initial two films. Rather than use its connections to T2 as a crutch, trying to endlessly recreate the 1991 classic as was the case with most sequels, The Sarah Connor Chronicles uses it as a stepping stone to build something new, something that none of the films were able to accomplish — and all without overly subverting what made The Terminator and that first sequel great in the first place.

  • You don’t need comfort, community, or a cause larger than the next horizon.
  • You need a vehicle, a clear threat, and enough fuel to outrun it — and you’re good at all three.
  • You are unsentimental enough to survive that world, and decent enough — just barely — to be something more than another raider.

A Galaxy Far, Far Away

Star Wars

The galaxy far, far away is vast, loud, and in a constant state of violent political upheaval — and you wouldn’t have it any other way.

  • You find meaning in being part of something larger than yourself — a cause, a crew, a rebellion.
  • You’d gravitate toward the Rebellion, or the fringes, or whatever pocket of the galaxy still believes the Empire’s grip can be broken.
  • You fight — not because you have to, but because standing aside isn’t something you’re capable of.
  • In Star Wars, that willingness is what makes all the difference.

The premise is quite simple: In the years after T2, Sarah Connor (Lena Headey) and her son John (Thomas Dekker) are on the run after their actions at Cyberdyne, at least until a new Terminator sent from the future, designated “Cameron” (Summer Glau), is sent back to the ’90s to protect them. Given John’s desire not to have to live in a post-apocalyptic future, Sarah convinces Cameron to take them forward in time to 2007 for another shot at stopping Judgment Day (now set for 2011) and ensuring that Skynet is never created in the first place. Instead of just repeating the same old antics, their world is made further complicated by FBI Agent James Ellison (Richard T. Jones) and Kyle Reese’s (Jonathan Jackson) previously unknown brother Derek (Brian Austin Green), who each threaten the Connors’ well-being by bringing new T-888s to their doorstep. With an expanded cast and a more complex mythology, The Sarah Connor Chronicles balances fan expectations with new creative avenues crafted just for the series.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles took great care to explore both Sarah’s psychological instability and John’s struggles in accepting his destiny. Headey played Sarah a bit differently from Linda Hamilton, trying to merge the two incarnations of the character from the first two films into a well-rounded, psychologically complex individual. She certainly succeeded, presenting a case study in what bleak news of the future can do to a mother who truly wants what’s best for her son. Likewise, the show is perhaps the greatest adaptation of John Connor, acting as a bridge between the kid we met in T2 and the soldier we know he may one day be. Issues of fate and whether one can change their intended path were woven intimately throughout while simultaneously offering answers to long-wondered questions about how the Terminator timelines work.

‘The Sarah Connor Chronicles’ Will Likely Never Return, but the Series Deserves High Praise

Unfortunately, The Sarah Connor Chronicles was cancelled before it had the chance to appropriately conclude its divergence in the larger Terminator timeline. The impromptu series finale, “Born to Run,” ends on a pretty big cliffhanger, though one could arguably work it out in their mind as to how it might work as a circular conclusion meant to bookend the tension between John’s fate and Sarah’s hopes. But no matter how you view it, the journey is worth undertaking. Too many Terminator sequels have either decided that John Connor is no longer relevant to the Future War against Skynet or that Sarah Connor’s sacrifices in preventing Judgment Day meant nothing, but The Sarah Connor Chronicles doesn’t fall into either of these traps. Instead, the Fox drama reminds us of the importance of these characters while still making them feel deeply human and relatable, no matter the apocalyptic stakes at hand.

When it comes to Terminator media, fans have been burned one too many times. It’s sadly just par for the course these days. While we eagerly await James Cameron’s anticipated return to the franchise, there’s truly no better time to revisit Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Even in light of the controversial ending, it’s one of the few post-T2 installments actually worth the effort.

8 Action Movies That Are Perfect From Start To Finish

Published

on

Keanu Reeves at the wheel of a car facing his right in Speed

Sometimes, you don’t plan to watch a full 2–3 hour movie. I know I don’t. I just press play, give it a few minutes, and if it doesn’t pull me in, I’m out. Most films lose me somewhere in the middle anyway, even if they start strong.

But action movies are a bit different when they’re done right. When the story is tight and the action actually makes sense, you don’t feel the time passing. One scene leads into the next, and you’re not waiting for things to get better because they’re already gripping. That balance is hard to get right, which is why so many films fall apart halfway through. The ones on this list don’t have that problem. They stay consistent, keep the tension alive, and actually feel riveting from start to finish.

In Speed, during a routine assignment, officer Jack Traven (Keanu Reeves) becomes involved in a situation that involves a bomber who targets public transportation. After stopping an earlier threat, Jack learns that a new device has been placed on a city bus with a condition that it will detonate if the vehicle slows below a specific speed. He rushes to locate the bus and boards it while it is already in motion. Inside the bus, he meets Annie Porter (Sandra Bullock), a passenger who is forced to take control of the vehicle after the driver is injured.

As the story continues, Jack works with Annie to keep the bus moving while managing the passengers and steering through traffic. The attacker places certain conditions that require constant attention, since any mistake could trigger the device. While Jack is trying to talk to the authorities, as well as find a solution to eliminate the threat, the moving bus becomes the main focus.

Die Hard begins on the night of a corporate Christmas party, where John McClane (Bruce Willis) arrives at a high-rise building in Los Angeles to reconnect with his wife. While the event is underway, a group of armed men, led by Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman), takes control of the building and holds the employees hostage. While McClane slips away from the main floor to avoid being caught, he quietly watches what’s happening inside the building while staying hidden.

Following the takeover, McClane moves through different levels of the building while using limited resources to interfere with the group’s plan. He establishes contact with outside authorities and attempts to pass information about the situation. Each action he takes creates a response from the attackers that forces him to adjust his approach while working to reduce their control over the hostages and prevent their plan from being completed.

But early in the mission, they are discovered, and what began as a planned operation quickly turns into a desperate fight for survival inside the confined space.

With the growing situation, the members of the team become separated, and their communication breaks down. Still, Rama keeps pushing forward through the building, facing armed opponents stationed on every floor. The environment limits escape routes, and eventually, they are forced into confrontation. Each fight shifts Rama’s position in the building, as he continues toward his goal while adapting to the shifting conditions.

Who Still Has Bad Blood? Revisiting Taylor Swift’s Iconic Feuds

Published

on

Katy Perry performing at Accor Arena in Paris

Everyone loves Taylor Swift… or do they? Even though plenty of celebrities turned out to celebrate her marriage to NFL star Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden, she has also endured a fair amount of criticism over the years. Below, check out some of her biggest feuds, featuring everyone from Katy Perry to Donald Trump!

‘Swish Swish, Bish’: The Dancers That Derailed a Friendship

Katy Perry and Taylor Swift have a long history of beef, which seems to have started due to a business dispute over backup dancers. In 2013, Swift was on her Red Tour when three of her backup dancers left midway through to rejoin Katy Perry’s upcoming Prismatic World Tour.

Swift seemed to view the departure as a betrayal and an attempt to sabotage her tour. She said as much in a 2014 interview with Rolling Stone, claiming that a female artist attempted to “sabotage” her tour. Perry then responded with a cryptic tweet referencing “Regina George in sheep’s clothing,” referring to the “Mean Girls” character.

Swift’s 2014 hit single and music video for “Bad Blood” was widely believed to be about Perry, who responded in 2017 with “Swish Swish.” Things took another turn when Swift returned her catalog to streaming services on the same day that Perry released her album “Witness.”

Perry then expressed a desire to end the feud, saying, “I forgive her, and I’m sorry for anything I ever did.” Just before Swift headed off on her tour for “Reputation,” Perry sent Swift an olive branch along with a handwritten note.

This seemingly ended the feud, as Swift told U.K. radio show Capital Breakfast that they were on the road to repairing their relationship. Perry made a small appearance in Swift’s 2019 “You Need To Calm Down” music video and called her “an old friend” when she attended Swift’s Eras Tour.

The 2009 MTV VMAs will forever go down as one of the biggest moments in pop culture history, along with Ye’s “I’mma let you finish…” speech. The moment went so viral that even former U.S. President Barack Obama called Kanye West a “jack*ss.”

Ye apologized, and the two publicly reconciled when Swift presented West with the MTV Video Vanguard Music Award. However, their uneasy relationship fell apart during a dispute about his song “Famous,” which seemingly inspired many songs on her album, “Reputation.”

The song included the lyric which included the lyric, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ Why? Because I made that b-tch famous.” A leaked audio recording by his then-wife, Kim Kardashian, made it seem like Swift approved the lyric, leading to even more controversy.

Although Swift and Ye both attended the 2025 Grammy Awards, it looked like they avoided each other.

Although Swift and Kim Kardashian seemed to be on good terms, it all fell apart after the “Famous” controversy.

In a June 2016 interview with GQ, the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” reality star insisted that Swift had “totally approved” the lyric. Meanwhile, Swift’s team insisted that he had never told her that he would call her a “b-tch” on the song.

After Kardashian released edited clips of their phone call, many started sending the singer snake emojis. The snake symbol became a major part of her “Reputation” tour iconography and her “Look What You Made Me Do” music video.

In March 2020, the full recording of the call leaked, showing that Ye had never asked Swift about the “that b-tch” line. Swift insisted that the leak proved that she had been “telling the truth the whole time,” and in her 2023 TIME Person of the Year interview, called the backlash from the controversy a “career death.”

Although she never confirmed it publicly, many also felt that her song “thanK you aIMee” from “The Tortured Poets Department” was about Kardashian, since the capitalized letters in the song spelled out her first name.

However, in 2026, Kim appeared on her sister Khloé Kardashian’s Khloé in Wonder Land podcast. She called Swift a “super talented, great artist” and revealed that she still listens to some of Swift’s music. She and her daughter, North, have also danced to some of Swift’s music in several TikTok videos.

Nils Sjöberg Speaks: Secret Credits and the Legendary Twitter Rant

2016 was a rough year for Swift! A few weeks after she stopped dating Calvin Harris, Swift made headlines for moving on to Tom Hiddleston soon after the split. It seems that Harris might have taken things personally, as he aired their dirty laundry on Twitter after Swift’s rep confirmed that she had written on “This Is What You Came For,” his collaboration with Rihanna, under the name Nils Sjöberg. That name later appeared on a gravestone in her “Look What You Made Me Do” music video.

On Twitter, Harris explained: “And she sings on a little bit of it too. Amazing lyric writer and she smashed it as usual… I wrote the music, produced the song, arranged it and cut the vocals though. And initially she wanted it kept secret, hence the pseudonym… Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though…”

He then seemed to reference her new relationship with the “Avengers” actor, adding, “I figure if you’re happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do… I know you’re off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I’m not that guy, sorry. I won’t allow it… Please focus on the positive aspects of YOUR life because you’ve earned a great one… God bless everyone have a beautiful day.”

Taylor Swift and Donald Trump have a long history of feuding. During the 2020 election, Swift openly criticized the President on Twitter, “After stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism your entire presidency, you have the nerve to feign moral superiority before threatening violence? ‘When the looting starts the shooting starts’??? We will vote you out in November.”

In 2024, she openly endorsed Kamala Harris for President on Instagram. In response, Trump said, “I was not a Taylor Swift fan. It was just a question of time … She’s a very liberal person, she seems to always endorse a Democrat and she’ll probably pay a price for it in the marketplace.”

The Team Trump TikTok account and White House-related accounts have since used Swift’s music in their TikTok videos. In August 2026, Swift’s songs were removed from the videos. Although she did not publicly comment about the use of her songs, artists like Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, and Ariana Grande have all publicly objected to the use of their music.

Ben Affleck Putting Past Romances To Good Use As A ‘Wingman’

Published

on

Ben Affleck is seen out and about

Ben Affleck is said to believe that ex-NFL player Tom Brady could use some assistance when it comes to dating and that he’s the right man for the job.

According to a new report, the Oscar-winning actor has offered to become Brady’s “wingman” as he navigates the dating scene following his 2022 divorce from his ex-wife and supermodel Gisele Bündchen.

The reports come as Tom Brady’s personal life continues to gain interest, especially after news of his connection to influencer Alix Earle, who has since addressed their relationship on her reality show.

According to Globe Magazine, a source close to Affleck has revealed his intentions to help Brady with his dating life; apparently, the actor “would love to be Tom’s wingman.”

The source claimed that Brady, despite his “savvy” on the football field and in matters concerning his professional career, has not had a very smooth experience with relationships.

“As savvy as Tom has been with everything related to his life in football, women continue to be a challenge for him,” the source explained.

The source also suggested that Affleck’s own experience in navigating relationships while being in the limelight speaks to his ability to wingman for Brady and help him handle “gold-diggers.”

They said, “Ben’s been through those challenges and then some, especially in the last 10 years. He can read people and smell outright greed from a mile away now.”

The comments, while interesting, are yet to be confirmed by either Affleck or Brady, but the possibility of the duo teaming up to tackle the roughness of the dating world and manage so-called “gold-diggers” is certainly an interesting development.

Tom Brady’s Dating Life Has Remained In The Spotlight

Brady’s romantic life has received some media scrutiny since his marriage to Bündchen ended in 2022. The former couple was married for 13 years before their eventual divorce.

According to People Magazine, Bündchen at the time described the end of her marriage to Brady as the “death of my dream.”

Since the split, the athlete has been romantically linked to several well-known women, including Kim Kardashian, Irina Shayk, Brooks Nader, and “Modern Family” star Sofía Vergara, but there was never any real confirmation of a relationship.

More recently, attention has turned to Alix Earle, the 25-year-old influencer who was reportedly seen together with Brady in St. Barths and has since been spotted together on other occasions.

Earlier in February, a source confirmed to People that Brady, 49, and Earle were reportedly “hooking up,” further igniting rumors that they were an item.

However, the influencer has addressed the rumors on an episode of her Netflix reality series “Earle Meets World.”

When asked by “Dancing with the Stars” pro dancer Jenna Johnson whether the relationship with Brady was real, she simply shrugged it off.

“No, I’m just having fun. I know, a lot has changed since last time,” Earle said.

Affleck’s supposed wisdom when it comes to navigating the dating scene is informed by the actor’s own well-documented romantic history.

The “Good Will Hunting” actor was married to actress Jennifer Garner in 2005 and remained officially married for 13 years before their divorce was finalized in 2018.

Following their separation in 2015, Affleck was romantically linked to “Saturday Night Live” producer Lindsay Shookus and went public with their relationship in 2017.

The pair eventually split, with the actor going on to have a brief romance with model Shauna Sexton and then Oscar nominee Ana de Armas before rekindling his old relationship with “On the Floor” singer Jennifer Lopez.

Affleck and Lopez, who first dated in the early 2000s, got married in 2022. The second romance ended after Lopez filed for divorce in August 2024, which was finalized the next year.

Affleck’s relationship record, according to the Globe source, is central to why he’d be a good fit to be Brady’s relationship guide, as he has learned lessons he can pass on to the athlete.

Aside from being a relationship expert, Affleck has also had a longtime friendship with Brady, which puts him in a great position to act as a love coach for the quarterback.

In a 2016 appearance, Affleck, as well as fellow Oscar winner Matt Damon, demonstrated their friendship with Brady.

In the video, Affleck called Brady “the greatest quarterback who ever walked the earth,” and joked that he was better friends with the athlete than Damon.

The duo has remained friends for a very long time, which is perhaps why Affleck feels invested in salvaging Brady’s romantic life.
