New Snap Of Taylor Swift’s Massive Wedding Ring Surfaces

Published

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are continuing to enjoy married life while balancing their busy careers.

The couple recently attended the wedding of former NFL player JuJu Smith-Schuster and Laura Kruk, where fans caught a glimpse of Swift’s wedding band as she mingled with other WAGS in newly released photos.

As attention remains fixed on their relationship, Travis Kelce has already returned to offseason training ahead of his 14th NFL season.

Swift and Kelce recently stepped out to celebrate another couple’s big day, making one of their first public appearances since reportedly marrying earlier this month.

The newlyweds attended the wedding of former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster and Laura Kruk at the Ritz-Carlton in Laguna Niguel, California.

Photos shared by fellow guest Jayda Kamryn Hawkins, the wife of NFL player Jaylinn Hawkins, offered fans a glimpse into the festivities.

In one candid snapshot on Instagram, Swift appeared relaxed and cheerful as she posed for a selfie late in the evening, seemingly wearing an oversized blazer believed to belong to Kelce. Another group mirror photo showed the singer standing off to the side rather than drawing attention to herself.

The outing also drew attention because it provided one of the clearest looks yet at Swift’s wedding band. She paired the ring with a strapless pink Markarian gown, while Kelce opted for a tailored gray suit as the pair appeared to be enjoying their first weeks as husband and wife.

In a photo shared by Vogue Magazine, the couple could be seen posing next to the bride and groom and other guests, with Swift’s massive ring in full view.

Swift’s wedding band joins the engagement ring Kelce used to propose, a striking old mine brilliant-cut diamond that has been estimated to be worth between $550,000 and $1 million.

Their own wedding came after months of speculation about their future together and reportedly brought together around 1,000 guests from across the worlds of sports, music, and entertainment.

Some of the biggest names at the nuptials, which were held at Madison Square Garden in New York City, included Paul McCartney, Tom Brady, Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Alba, Stevie Knicks, and Swift’s close pal, Selena Gomez.

However, rather than traditional bridal party roles, Swift’s brother Austin served as her man of honor, while Kelce’s brother Jason was best man.

The duo had a very emotional moment during their wedding when they read their vows to each other from little golden books, with guests claiming that Kelce was far more tearful than his bride.

The couple’s relationship traces back to July 2023, when Kelce attended Swift’s Eras Tour stop in Kansas City.

The NFL star revealed that he had hoped to meet the singer after the show and even brought along a friendship bracelet featuring his phone number, though he never managed to hand it to her.

Over the years, the pair have balanced demanding careers while supporting one another at concerts, sporting events, and public appearances. Despite the constant attention surrounding their relationship, Kelce has insisted their life together feels remarkably normal.

“Whenever I’m with her, it feels like we’re just regular people,” he previously told GQ. “When there is not a camera on us, we’re just two people that are in love.”

While wedding celebrations continue to generate headlines, Kelce has already shifted his focus back to football. Less than two weeks after the ceremony, he was photographed dressed in a black T-shirt and gray workout shorts in Florida, signaling the start of preparations for another NFL season.

His return follows a March announcement that he would continue his playing career rather than retire.

Appearing on “The Pat McAfee Show,” Kelce confirmed he would return for a 14th season with the Kansas City Chiefs. “Let’s go! Making another run at it, baby, and the Chiefs are making moves, Pat,” he said at the time.

Kelce also credited his relationship with Swift as part of the motivation behind his decision, explaining that they share the same passion for their respective careers and a desire to keep pursuing what they love.

“We share the same love for what we do,” he said, per People Magazine, adding, “I’m still in love with this game.”

Kelce’s most recent game came in December 2025, when the Kansas City Chiefs suffered a playoff defeat to the Los Angeles Chargers, marking the franchise’s earliest postseason exit in nearly a decade.

Before announcing his decision to continue playing, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Kelce’s contract was valued at a minimum of $12 million and could reach as much as $15 million through incentives.

According to ESPN, the veteran tight end informed the Chiefs of his plans to return before the start of free agency, ending months of speculation about a possible retirement.

Since then, attention has shifted from Kelce’s football future to his personal life, particularly his wedding to Taylor Swift.

Among those in attendance was ESPN personality Pat McAfee, who later described the celebration as one of the most “spectacular evenings” he has ever experienced. “The football world coming together with Hollywood and Nashville,” McAfee said. “It was the greatest night of all time.”

Kyla Pratt Thought Disney Would Fire Her From Iconic Role

Published

on

Kyla Pratt at BET Awards 2025

Kyla Pratt’s voice helped transform Penny Proud into one of Disney Channel’s most recognizable animated characters, but the actress originally believed it would cost her the job.

Pratt was just 14 when “The Proud Family” debuted in 2001, and hearing herself as the show’s teenage lead triggered an insecurity she could not ignore. Instead of recognizing that her natural voice made Penny relatable, Pratt became convinced that Disney would eventually decide she was wrong for the role.

Twenty-five years later, she is preparing to say goodbye to Penny as “The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder” approaches its fourth and final season.

During an appearance on “People in 10,” Pratt admitted she struggled to understand why she had been cast in a voiceover role.

“Filming the show when I was a teenager, I didn’t like my voice,” she told PEOPLE Magazine. “I was like, ‘How am I auditioning for a voiceover? How is this happening? And I was like, ‘I’m going to get fired. They are not going to like this.’”

The actress now recognizes that she was her own “biggest critic.” Rather than being fired, Pratt remained the voice of Penny throughout the original series, its television movie, and the Disney+ revival.

The same voice she once disliked ultimately became inseparable from the character.

“The Proud Family” debuted while Pratt was balancing two major television roles. In addition to voicing Penny, she starred as Breanna Barnes in the UPN sitcom “One on One.” Pratt previously explained that moving between a live-action series and an animated production seemed normal because she had been working since childhood. Looking back, however, she recognizes how rare it was to lead two shows simultaneously as a teenager.

The original “Proud Family” followed Penny as she navigated school, friendships, adolescence, and the frequently embarrassing behavior of her father, Oscar Proud. The series ran for two seasons before concluding with “The Proud Family Movie” in 2005.

Its focus on a Black family and willingness to address identity, discrimination, friendship, and social expectations helped the show remain culturally relevant long after its initial ending.

Returning To The Recording Booth Brings ‘Complete Nostalgia’

Disney+ announced “The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder” in 2020, giving Pratt the opportunity to revisit Penny as an adult. “The vibe when I am stepping into the booth to be Penny Proud is always amazing,” she said. “It’s complete nostalgia.”

Pratt recently spoke with her daughters, Lyric and Liyah, about growing older without losing the childlike part of themselves. Returning to Penny has allowed her to do exactly that. “To have something like ‘The Proud Family’ to connect me to my younger self, for me, every time I step into the booth, it just feels amazing,” she explained.

Pratt previously revealed that her daughters recognized her voice when she played “The Proud Family Movie” for them. Her oldest daughter later decided she wanted to dress as Penny for Halloween, forcing Pratt to assemble the costume herself because official options were limited.

‘Louder And Prouder’ Is Reaching Its Final Season

The fourth and final season of “The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder” will premiere on Disney+ on July 29. According to Disney+, the new episodes will follow Penny after a life-changing turning point for the Proud family.

Season three ended with Penny and her boyfriend, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Brown, running away to Emilyville after their parents attempted to intervene in their increasingly dependent relationship.

The final season will explore the consequences of that decision as Penny tries to regain her family’s trust. Along the way, she will be pulled into unexpected adventures that challenge her courage and identity.

Pratt will be joined by returning cast members Tommy Davidson, Paula Jai Parker, Jo Marie Payton, Karen Malina White, Soleil Moon Frye, and Cedric the Entertainer.

Mariah Carey, Chloe Bailey, Ali Wong, Lashana Lynch, Lorraine Toussaint, and Adele Givens are among the announced guest stars.

Kyla Pratt Is Appreciating The Final Chapter

Knowing the revival is ending has made Pratt more conscious of how unusual her journey with Penny has been. “You realize these things don’t last forever, [so] you take it in a little bit more,” she said.

Rather than focusing entirely on the sadness of leaving the character behind, Pratt said she is “finding the good in everything.” “Not a lot of artists get to experience playing a character that they started when they were 14,” she added.

Pratt’s teenage fear never came true. Instead, the voice she believed would get her fired carried Penny Proud across two generations, and kept bringing her back to a role that now connects her childhood, career, and family.

5 Michelle Pfeiffer Movies That Are Perfect From Start to Finish

Published

on

Madame de Tourvel, played by Michelle Pfeiffer, looks ahead in 'Dangerous Liaisons'.

Some movie stars dominate by taking over the room. The more interesting ones can haunt it from the corner, make the loudest person look ridiculous, or turn one quiet reaction into the part everyone remembers. That is the lane Michelle Pfeiffer kept finding again and again, even when the films around her were packed with dangerous men, strict social codes, cartoon villains, gangsters, or full Hollywood mythology.

Her best work has glamour, sure, but glamour is never the whole meal. There is intelligence under it, hurt under it, sometimes fury, sometimes boredom, sometimes a private sadness the movie refuses to overexplain, and more. That is why these five films have lasted. Scroll down to find out.

‘Dangerous Liaisons’ (1988)

Madame de Tourvel, played by Michelle Pfeiffer, looks ahead in 'Dangerous Liaisons'. Image via Warner Bros.

In a movie where seduction gets treated like war strategy, Madame de Tourvel (Michelle Pfeiffer) is the one person whose sincerity makes the game feel cruel instead of clever. Valmont (John Malkovich) targets her as part of a poisonous social contest, and the danger comes from watching a decent woman enter a world where decency has no protection. In Dangerous Liaisons, Tourvel has faith, restraint, desire, shame, and fear without making her look foolish for believing in goodness.

The tragedy cuts deeper since Tourvel’s collapse is emotional, spiritual, and physical at once. She is not built for the kind of casual destruction Valmont and Merteuil (Glenn Close) enjoy. When she starts breaking, the film stops feeling like a stylish duel and starts showing the human cost of aristocratic amusement. Pfeiffer lets the character’s longing stay pure even after it becomes unbearable. Valmont may think he is winning a game, yet Tourvel exposes the rot behind every move.

Jack (Jeff Bridges), Susie (Michelle Pfeiffer), and Frank (Beau Bridges) are lying on one another, looking directly into the camera lens.

In The Fabulous Baker Boys, Susie Diamond (Michelle Pfeiffer) walks into the Baker brothers’ tired lounge act and immediately changes the air. Jack Baker (Jeff Bridges) and Frank Baker (Beau Bridges) have the routine down, the piano parts polished, the bookings familiar, and the disappointment baked into their faces. Susie has no patience for their stale professionalism. She can sing, tease, fight, flirt, and call out the deadness in the act before either brother wants to admit it.

Pfeiffer’s performance has that rare nightclub electricity where the glamour feels earned by survival. Her “Makin’ Whoopee” number on the piano is famous for obvious reasons, but the real heat comes from Susie understanding exactly how people look at her and deciding how much access they deserve. With Jack, the attraction has bite because both of them know talent can curdle into bitterness when life gets too small. The film becomes more than a smoky romance about music. It is about people who know they are good enough for something better and hate how long they have tolerated less.

‘The Age of Innocence’ (1993)

Newland Archer (Daniel Day Lewis) looking at Countess Olenska (Michelle Pfeiffer) in The Age of Innocence

New York high society in The Age of Innocence is terrifying precisely due to how polite everyone sounds while ruining lives. And mind you, this is a Martin Scorsese film and he turns manners, flowers, dinner invitations, seating arrangements, and whispered judgments into instruments of control. Countess Ellen Olenska (Michelle Pfeiffer) returns from Europe after leaving a disastrous marriage, and her presence threatens a world that survives by pretending desire can be managed through rules.

Ellen is intelligent enough to understand the trap and lonely enough to still hope for air inside it. Her connection with Newland Archer (Daniel Day-Lewis) has romance, yes, but also frustration. He wants her partly because she represents freedom, while she has already paid for freedoms he only imagines. That imbalance makes the love story ache. Ellen is not the fantasy escape from his respectable life. She plays a woman carrying scandal, taste, pain, and clarity in a society that knows how to punish all four. The final memory of her feels less like lost romance than a whole life Newland never had the nerve to choose.

The Academy Has Decided
Your Perfect Film Is…

Your answers have pointed to one Oscar Best Picture winner above all others. This is the film that was made for the way your mind works.

Parasite

You are drawn to films that operate on multiple levels simultaneously — that begin in one genre and quietly, brilliantly migrate into another. Bong Joon-ho’s Parasite is a film about class, desire, and the architecture of inequality that manages to be darkly funny, deeply suspenseful, and genuinely shocking across a single extraordinary running time. Your instinct is for cinema that hides its true intentions until the moment it’s ready to reveal them. Parasite is exactly that — a film that rewards close attention and punishes assumptions, right up to its devastating final image.

Everything Everywhere All at Once

You want it all — and this film gives you all of it. The Daniels’ Everything Everywhere All at Once is one of the most maximalist films ever made: action comedy, multiverse sci-fi, family drama, existential crisis, and a genuinely earned emotional core that sneaks up on you amid the chaos. You are someone who responds to ambition, who doesn’t want cinema to choose between being entertaining and being meaningful. This film refuses that choice entirely. It is overwhelming by design, and its overwhelming nature is precisely the point — because the feeling of being crushed by infinite possibility is exactly what it’s about.

Oppenheimer

You are drawn to cinema on a grand scale — films that understand history not as a backdrop but as a force, and that place their characters inside that force and watch what happens. Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer is a film about the terrifying gap between what we can do and what we should do, told with the full weight of one of the most consequential moments in human history behind it. You want your films to feel important without feeling self-important — to earn their ambition through sheer craft and the gravity of their subject. Oppenheimer does exactly that. It is enormous, complicated, and refuses easy comfort.

Birdman

You are drawn to films that foreground their own construction — that make the how of the filmmaking part of the what it’s about. Alejandro González Iñárritu’s Birdman, shot to appear as a single continuous take, is cinema examining itself through the cracked mirror of a fading actor’s ego. You respond to formal daring, to the feeling that a film is doing something that probably shouldn’t be possible. Michael Keaton’s performance and Emmanuel Lubezki’s restless camera create something genuinely unlike anything else — a film that is simultaneously about creativity, relevance, self-destruction, and the impossibility of ever truly knowing if your work means anything at all.

No Country for Old Men

You are drawn to cinema that trusts silence, that refuses to explain itself, and that treats dread as a form of meaning. The Coen Brothers’ No Country for Old Men is a film about the arrival of a new kind of evil — implacable, arbitrary, and utterly indifferent to the moral frameworks we use to make sense of the world. It is one of the most formally controlled films ever made, and its controlled restraint is what makes it so terrifying. You want your films to haunt you, not comfort you. You are not interested in resolution if resolution would be dishonest. No Country for Old Men is honest in a way that most cinema never dares to be.

2

‘Batman Returns’ (1992)

Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman lying on a bed and looking at the camera in Batman Returns

Image via Warner Bros.

Selina Kyle (Michelle Pfeiffer) begins Batman Returns as someone the city has trained itself to ignore. She works for Max Shreck (Christopher Walken), gets talked over, pushed aside, and treated like an office inconvenience until the violence done to her turns into something wild. Tim Burton’s Gotham already looks diseased, but Selina’s rebirth gives the movie its sharpest charge. Catwoman is not a clean empowerment fantasy. She is rage, trauma, sexuality, comedy, revenge, and self-invention stitched together in black vinyl.

Pfeiffer is unreal here. Every version of Selina has its own rhythm. The nervous secretary, the shattered woman trashing her apartment, the prowling Catwoman, the wounded romantic with Bruce Wayne (Michael Keaton), the furious avenger circling Shreck. The performance keeps changing shape without losing the person underneath. She’s probably the best catwoman out there, to this date.

1

‘Scarface’ (1983)

Michelle Pfeiffer in Scarface Image via Universal Pictures
Advertisement

Scarface is a classic. Everybody loves this film. And Elvira Hancock (Michelle Pfeiffer) is surrounded by men who mistake possession for love here. Frank Lopez (Robert Loggia) treats her like part of the luxury package. Tony Montana (Al Pacino) sees her as proof that he has climbed high enough to take what the powerful men had before him. The mansion, the clothes, the cocaine, the parties, the money, the whole rotten dream keeps getting bigger around her, and Michelle Pfeiffer lets Elvira look more empty the richer the world becomes.

That emptiness is the point. Elvira is glamorous in a way that almost feels ghostly. She has learned how to survive rooms full of appetite by staying bored, sharp, and unreachable. Tony wants her fire, then hates her disgust when she sees him clearly. Their dinner fight is brutal because she finally says what the empire looks like from inside the cage. Scarface is remembered for excess, violence, quotes, and Pacino’s volcanic Tony, but Elvira gives the dream its aftertaste. She is the beautiful prize who knows the prize is worthless.

Taylor Swift Wedding Guest Reacts to Adam Sandler as Officiant

Published

on

Sandler-History-With-Taylor-and-Travis

Adam Sandler officiating Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s star-studded wedding felt a bit unbelievable to the lucky 1,000 in attendance.

“Adam Sandler … came down [the aisle], everybody laughed and thought it was a joke at first,” American Century Investments CEO Jonathan Thomas said on the Thursday, July 17, episode of “The Compound” podcast. “He probably spoke for 20 or 30 minutes, vacillated between funny, very sincere [and] sang a few things.”

Swift and Kelce, both 36, said “I do” on July 3 inside New York City’s famed Madison Square Garden arena surrounded by some of the biggest names in sports and Hollywood.

After their enchanted garden-themed nuptials, Swift’s rep revealed in a statement that the couple’s friend Sandler, 59, presided over the ceremony.

Adam Sandler has quietly become one of the most unexpected constants in Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s love story — and in July 2026, he made it official. The comedian officiated the couple’s star-studded black-tie wedding at Madison Square Garden following years of family fandom, movie experiences and surprise cameos that pulled him deeper into […]

“In your typical vows the officiator says, ‘For rich or for poor.’ Adam said, ‘You’re not going to have to worry about that,’” Thomas recalled on Thursday, referring to Swift’s billionaire status and Kelce’s multimillion-dollar NFL salary. “His key message was [to] kiss each other every day, in the morning, at night [and] after dinner.”

In addition to Sandler’s heartfelt-yet-humorous speech, the now-newlyweds spoke for just as long delivering their vows.

“Travis went first with his vows. He probably spoke for 30 minutes and I don’t want to violate his privacy, but I was crying, which I was trying to hold back,” Thomas recalled. “He made himself unbelievably vulnerable. I was sitting there crying, and I was trying to hold it back until I look around and there’s all these 300-pound men from the football business crying, as well. So, I felt really comfortable [to] let go. I mean, it was very, very powerful.”

Thomas further revealed that the Grammy winner also wrote her own vows during the ceremony.

“She probably spoke for 30 minutes, and it was poetic. It was really well done,” he gushed. “The vows and the ceremony were very solemn, very sincere, very emotional. Then, they opened up [the venue and] you walk through this massive castle that they built.”

Thomas, for his part, was especially in awe of how Swift and Kelce transformed MSG into their dream wedding venue.

“You would never guess you’re in Madison Square Garden the way they did. It was incredible,” the businessman said on Thursday. “But you [walked] through this castle that they built and behind it, um, they had all sorts of games [and] amazing giveaways to people.”

Swift and Kelce have yet to reveal any photos from the big day but are expected to eventually share portraits via Instagram.

‘John Wick’ Meets ‘Die Hard’ in the Action Masterpiece Escaping Free Streaming

Published

on

hard-boiled-poster.jpg

Every best action movie list since the 1990s has included this explosive cop classic, and for good reason. Often hailed as one of the greatest action films ever made, it completely changed what audiences expected from the genre with its groundbreaking action sequences. Its influence can still be seen in modern hits like John Wick, while its claustrophobic premise — one man standing against countless armed criminals — captures the same tension that made Die Hard a classic. More than three decades later, it hasn’t lost any of its impact, making now the perfect time to watch it before it disappears from free streaming.

Directed by the legendary Hong Kong maestro John Woo with a script by Gordon Chan and Barry Wong, the crime epic marked Woo’s final Hong Kong production before he made his transition to Hollywood. Woo actually conceived the project as a direct response to critics who accused his earlier heroic bloodshed films (such as The Killer and A Better Tomorrow) of romanticizing criminals. So, he set out to create a police-centered thriller heavily inspired by Clint Eastwood‘s Dirty Harry. While it only performed modestly at the local box office upon its initial release in April 1992, Woo’s masterpiece quickly achieved legendary status, earning near-universal international acclaim.

John Rambo is not a man of plans or politics — he is a force of nature shaped by survival, loyalty, and a capacity for endurance that goes beyond anything training can produce. He will not leave you behind. He has never left anyone behind who deserved to come home. What you get with Rambo is the most capable, most quietly ferocious partner imaginable — one who has been through things that would have broken anyone else, and who chose to keep going anyway. You’ll never need to ask if he has your back. You’ll just know.

James Bond

Your partner will arrive perfectly dressed, perfectly briefed, and with a cover story so convincing it’ll take you a moment to remember what’s actually true. James Bond is the most professionally dangerous person in any room he enters — and the most disarmingly charming, which is the point. He operates in a world of layers, where nothing is what it appears and every advantage is used without apology. You’ll never be bored. You’ll occasionally be furious. But when it matters — when the mission is genuinely on the line and the margin for error has collapsed to nothing — Bond is exactly the partner you want. He has survived things that have no business being survivable. He does it with style. That is not nothing.

Indiana Jones

Your partner will know the history, the language, the cultural context, and exactly why the thing everyone else is ignoring is actually the most important thing in the room. Indiana Jones is brilliant, reckless, and occasionally impossible — but he is also one of the most resourceful, most genuinely knowledgeable partners you could find yourself beside. He approaches every situation with a scholar’s eye and a brawler’s instinct, which is an unusual combination and a remarkably effective one. He hates snakes and gets personally attached to objects of historical significance, both of which will slow you down at least once. It doesn’t matter. What Indy brings is irreplaceable — and the adventures you’ll have together will be the kind people write books about. Assuming you survive them.

John McClane

Your partner was not supposed to be here. He does not have the right equipment, the right information, or anything approaching the right odds. He has a sarcastic remark and an absolute refusal to accept that the situation is as bad as it looks. John McClane is the greatest accidental hero in the history of action cinema — a man whose superpower is stubbornness, whose contingency plan is improvisation, and whose capacity to absorb punishment and keep moving would be alarming if it weren’t so useful. He will complain the entire time. He will make it significantly more chaotic than it needed to be. And he will absolutely, unconditionally, without question come through when it counts. Yippee-ki-yay.

Ethan Hunt

Your partner has already run seventeen scenarios by the time you’ve finished reading the briefing, and the plan he’s settled on involves at least two things that should be physically impossible. Ethan Hunt operates at the absolute edge of human capability — technically, physically, and intellectually — and he brings the same relentless precision to protecting his partners that he brings to dismantling organisations that shouldn’t exist. He is not easy to know and he will never fully tell you everything. But he will carry the weight of the mission so completely, so absolutely, that your job is simply to trust him — and the remarkable thing is that trusting him always turns out to be the right call. The mission will be impossible. He will complete it anyway.

Kendra Scott Allegedly Kills Man Hiding Under Daughter’s Bed

Rihanna Seemingly Addresses Baby Rumors, Talks "Little Pouch"

A late-night situation inside a Tennessee home quickly turned into a deadly investigation. Kendra Scott is now facing serious charges after authorities say a confrontation at a Memphis residence ended with a 20-year-old man being shot and killed. Investigators are working to piece together what happened before the gunfire.

RELATED: Washington Man Convicted After Shooting Mother Of His Children More Than 20 Times While Eight Kids Were Inside Home

Authorities Reveal What Led Up To The Fatal Encounter

According to the Memphis Police Department, the incident happened on Wednesday, July 15, around 1:45 a.m. at a home on Travis Road in the Walker Homes neighborhood. Officers arrived and found 20-year-old Rodderius Morton lying in the front yard near the porch with a gunshot wound to the back of his head.

Authorities say Kendra Scott allegedly told police she discovered a man hiding under her daughter’s bed and claimed she “saw a dude under my kids’ bed, and I did what I had to do.” Investigators later identified Scott as the woman involved and say a neighbor reported hearing banging before finding Morton injured near the porch.

Witnesses Share More Details About The Night’s Events

The neighbor also allegedly told police he saw Scott standing outside with a firearm, saying, “I shot him, I shot him.” A girl inside the home told investigators Morton had been invited over and entered through the back door before Scott arrived. According to the charging documents, Scott returned home around 1:30 a.m. and was allegedly knocking loudly while asking, “Who’s at my house?” The girl reportedly told investigators she was afraid because Scott appeared angry and was carrying a gun, and she claimed Scott had previously made comments about what she would do if she found a boy inside the home.

Scott Faces Serious Charges As Investigation Continues

Police say the girl eventually let Scott inside, where Morton was allegedly hiding under the bed. The girl told investigators that when Morton attempted to leave, Scott confronted him, and the two began arguing before he made his way toward the front porch. Authorities allege Scott followed him, and the girl heard a single gunshot.

Scott, 36, faces charges of first-degree murder and employment of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony. Authorities are holding her without bond at the Shelby County Jail, and she will appear in court as the case moves forward.

Netflix Already Has the Perfect ‘Heartstopper’ Replacement After the ‘Forever’ Movie

Published

on

Joe Locke as Charlie and Kit Connor as Nick from Heartstopper looking at each other.

After three seasons and four years, Netflix’s Heartstopper wraps up this week with Heartstopper Forever. The movie will focus primarily on wrapping up Nick (Kit Connor) and Charlie’s (Joe Locke) stories as Nick starts applying for university, forcing the two to think about what comes next. This comes shortly after the conclusion of Alice Oseman‘s webcomic-turned-graphic-novel series on which the show is based. While it will be sad to say goodbye to Heartstopper, Oseman has several other excellent novels that would make amazing television shows, and it would be wise for Netflix to adapt one of those next. There’s one book, in particular, that even takes place in the same universe as the Heartstopper graphic novels, so it could stand on its own as an adaptation.

What Is Alice Oseman’s ‘Radio Silence’ About?

Radio Silence follows Frances Janvier, a star student in her final year of secondary school, and academics are pretty much her whole life. In between trying to finish the year strong and get into Cambridge, Frances is secretly a fan of a podcast called Universe City and posts her art dedicated to the show online. She’s absolutely thrilled when the podcast’s anonymous creator, who goes by Radio Silence, asks her to become Universe City‘s official artist. One night, while out letting off steam, Frances runs into Aled Last, her neighbor who’s a year ahead of her at the affiliated boys’ school. Aled confesses to Frances that he is Radio Silence, and shortly afterward, she reveals the truth about herself as well. Despite never speaking much before, the two realize that they actually have a lot in common, and they quickly become best friends.

As Frances and Aled grow closer, their collaborative efforts on the podcast take off, but they struggle to balance their secret passion with their academics. They’re both expected to lead much more practical lives than they’d prefer, and their friendship leads them to start doubting everything they have been working towards up until this point. Frances and Aled’s friendship represents the perfect little bubble where they can dream big and focus solely on Universe City, but their real lives constantly threaten to get in the way.

‘Radio Silence’ Would Be the Perfect Show for ‘Heartstopper’ Fans

After Heartstopper‘s success, now would be the perfect time for Netflix to tackle a Radio Silence adaptation. While Heartstopper is a romance first and foremost, Radio Silence is a story about friendship. Frances is deeply lonely and unhappy in her fast-paced pursuit of academics, only feeling truly like herself when listening to and making art for Universe City. Similarly, Aled is keeping Universe City a secret from the people in his life, feeling like he has to hide who he is to pursue the future that he’s on track to have. After accidentally meeting in person, Frances and Aled realize that they’ve already found each other online, making them feel as if they were always meant to be best friends.

Those who have read the Heartstopper graphic novels will know that Aled is also present in that series as one of Charlie’s friends, but the character was replaced in the Netflix adaptation by a new creation, Isaac (Tobie Donovan), particularly because Aled has his own story. That said, Nick and Charlie do briefly appear in a chapter of Radio Silence and, with some tweaks, could easily cameo in a potential adaptation. Just like Heartstopper, Radio Silence centers teens and their journeys without talking down to its viewers. It also tackles heavier themes, including mental health, making it the perfect successor to Heartstopper now that Forever has concluded that story.

GTA 6 Reportedly Generates $260 Million in Pre-Orders, Could Reach $5 Billion During Launch Week : Coastal House Media

Sony Interactive Entertainment has officially confirmed that it will stop producing physical disc versions of all new PlayStation games beginning in January 2028, marking one of the biggest shifts in the company’s gaming history.

Under the new policy, every PlayStation title released after the January 2028 cutoff will launch exclusively in digital form through the PlayStation Store and participating retailers. Games released before that date will continue to be available on physical media, and existing disc-based games will remain supported.

The announcement reflects the gaming industry’s continued move toward digital distribution, with Sony pointing to changing consumer habits as the driving force behind the decision.

In a statement announcing the transition, Sony said:

“This is a natural direction for Sony Interactive Entertainment to adapt to consumer trends as the general preference for digital media significantly outpaces physical discs. This transition will enable us to align more closely with how most of our community prefers to access and play games today.”

The decision applies to both first-party PlayStation Studios releases and third-party games launching on PlayStation platforms after January 2028. While collectors will still be able to purchase physical copies of games released before the deadline, future releases will exist only as digital downloads.

The news has already sparked heated discussion among gamers. Many players have expressed concerns about game preservation, digital ownership, resale value, and the inability to lend or trade games. Others see the move as inevitable, pointing to the steady growth of digital purchases over the past several console generations.

Sony’s announcement also comes shortly after controversy surrounding Grand Theft Auto VI’s physical edition, which ships as a download code rather than a game disc, fueling ongoing debate about the future of physical media in gaming.

Whether welcomed or criticized, Sony’s decision signals the beginning of a new era for PlayStation—one where physical game collections will eventually become a thing of the past for all new releases.

Guy Ritchie Is Officially Outdoing ‘MobLand’ With New Prime Video Crime Thriller Series

Published

on

2026 has already been an important year in the saga of Guy Ritchie’s career, with more success stories to share and controversies to overcome. Ritchie’s first project of the year, Young Sherlock, was a massive hit on Prime Video despite all episodes being dropped at once as a binge. Prime Video even renewed the show for Season 2, and with cameras already rolling on the sophomore season, it’s all but confirmed that Young Sherlock Season 2 will stream in 2027. Ritchie then returned to the big screen with the release of his latest action movie, In The Grey, but the film struggled to get off the ground at the box office before scurrying to digital platforms. This was despite the star power of Henry Cavill and Jake Gyllenhaal, who had both worked with Ritchie in the past.

One of Ritchie’s biggest shows to emerge in the last few years has been MobLand, the hit Paramount Plus crime thriller starring Tom Hardy and Pierce Brosnan. MobLand is coming back for Season 2 later this year, but Ritchie is moving to Prime Video for a new project sure to please fans’ of the Paramount Plus series. News broke last week that Ritchie is working with Young Sherlock producer Rob Williams to develop a new British crime series, Capital, which will explore the modern-day underbelly of London’s world of organized crime. Prime Video subscribers who refused to venture to Paramount Plus for MobLand need not fret — Ritchie is bringing the MobLand vibe to other services with his new replacement series. Further details such as casting and release information are being kept under wraps for now.

Does Guy Ritchie Have Any Other 2026 Movies?

At the time of writing, Ritchie does not have any more movies coming to theaters before the end of this year. It was thought that his new thriller, Wife and Dog, was hitting theaters in 2026, but the film was recently delayed to February 19, 2027, to give the post-production team extra time to make sure it’s fully polished and ready to go. James Norton, Rosamund Pike, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Anthony Hopkins lead the new film, which is billed as Ritchie’s answer to Succession. It follows a rich family and their quest for power that leads them down paths of betrayal and murder.

Stay tuned to Collider for more updates and coverage of Ritchie’s new crime series, Capital, and check out new episodes of MobLand on Paramount Plus.

How Celebrity Beauty Trends Are Shaping Today’s Cosmetic Procedures

Published

on

Plastic Surgery

Celebrity beauty trends may spark interest for some looking to make a change, but today’s cosmetic patients are looking for results that feel more natural and personalized.

Dr. Waqqas Jalil, a board-certified plastic surgeon and founder of Aspect Plastic Surgery in Toronto, shared his thoughts with The Blast on why the “overfilled” aesthetic look is fading, how stars like Kylie Jenner continue to influence requests, and why the future of aesthetics is focused on customized treatments, skin health, and subtle enhancements that help patients look less transformed and more refreshed.

Not long ago, there was a trend of overfilling the face with filler, but that has slowly moved toward a more natural look. Instead of drastic changes, many patients are now seeking more refreshed, natural looking results.

“What we’re seeing among celebrities reflects a broader shift in aesthetic medicine. Patients are increasingly drawn to treatments that offer meaningful results without significant downtime, things like skin quality treatments, subtle volume work, and body contouring that looks natural rather than overdone,” he told The Blast.

“The key difference between a result that reads as ‘refreshed’ versus ‘obvious’ is almost always the planning stage: understanding the patient’s anatomy, proportions, and long-term goals before any treatment begins. When done well, these procedures should enhance someone’s features rather than alter their identity, and that principle applies whether you’re on a red carpet or not.”

Dr. Jalil said that he sees a consistent “seasonal rhythm” depending on what time of year it is.

From January through March, he often sees requests for “facial refreshes” after the holiday season. Requests for neurotoxin, fillers, peels, and blepharoplasty are the norm.

“As spring comes around, we see a surge of consultations as patients plan to be recovered by summer,” he said. “Summer months favor procedures with shorter recovery or timing that fits vacations, such as liposuction or select breast surgery.”

In the fall and winter, things pick up the pace with larger procedures, such as facelifts, mommy makeovers, and extensive body contouring.

The Blast | Melanie VanDerveer

When a celebrity posts about a particular treatment or procedure, or reveals in an interview something they’ve done, widespread interest tends to fire up a trend. One example of this is when Kim Kardashian shared her experience with XERF and everyone suddenly wanted to try it out because she raved about her results.

“Celebrity looks often spark widespread interest. A prominent makeover on Instagram or in the press creates buzz and prompts patients to ask, ‘Can I get that?’ Celebrities can introduce techniques and shape preferences, but those looks must be adapted to each patient’s anatomy, goals, and lifestyle,” he explained. “For example, when high-profile figures such as Kylie Jenner publicly discuss breast augmentation, interest in similar procedures rises but her result reflects her unique frame, proportions, and aesthetic goals.”

Dr. Jalil added that many patients will go into the office asking for the exact same thing a celebrity has done, but he has to “translate trends into realistic, individualized plans so patients achieve flattering, natural outcomes rather than attempting a one-size-fits-all copy.”

Setting Realistic Expectations When Deciding On Cosmetic Treatments

Dr Consult
Canva | Stock Photo

One thing Dr. Jalil focuses on is setting realistic expectations. He said he sometimes will even ask the patient to bring in a “wish photo” to help identify the goal.

“I usually take an opposite approach to some and actually encourage patients to bring in ‘wish photos’ or ‘celebrity photos’ to reveal goals and help me gauge realism,” he said. “During a thorough consult, we explain what’s achievable given their anatomy, skin quality, and lifestyle.”

He will also outline any risks, what recovery can look like, and even show some before and after examples. If someone comes in with unrealistic expectations or signs of body dysmorphic disorder, he will recommend a second opinion with a trusted colleague.

A top concern for Dr. Jalil has become DIY procedures or the mentality that there’s a one-size-fits-all thought process thanks to social platforms.

“DIY injections or at-home treatments dangerously underestimate risk, and viral trends ignore individual anatomy and safety,” he shared. “Equally troubling are edited or AI images and selectively staged before and after posts that create unrealistic expectations. Add in toxic fitness culture which celebrates transformations without acknowledging when surgical or medical interventions are involved, and you have a recipe for misinformation that puts patients at risk.”

Laser And Skin Resurfacing Are In Strong Demand

MOXI/BBL Laser Treatment
The Blast | Melanie VanDerveer

For people who are seeking to dip their toes into the world of cosmetic procedures and treatments and aren’t ready for surgery, Botox, fillers, lasers, and skin resurfacing have become popular options.

“They have strong demand but serve different needs. Injectables are quick, low-downtime solutions for volume and lines,” Jalil said. “Lasers/resurfacing address texture, sun damage, and skin quality long-term. For many patients, especially moms wanting improvement with limited downtime, we combine modalities for superior, natural-looking results.”

Dr. Jalil said that he expects more “combination protocols” such as energy devices plus biologics and targeted surgery alongside lifestyle modifications to continue to rise in popularity. He also expects there to be an increasing interest in procedures that restore pre-pregnancy body shape with natural-looking results.

Whatever a patient decides to do, Dr. Jalil said he advises they chose a qualified, experienced surgeon who will listen to your goals, explain the process and outcome, and build a tailored plan to your particular case.
