Kelly Osbourne has finally opened up about how she really felt about her weight loss after the death of her father, Ozzy Osbourne.

The TV personality admitted she looked like “the crypt keeper” and that it was hard for her to understand the criticism being directed at her due to the pain of losing her dad.

This comes weeks after Kelly Osbourne shared that she’s taking a break from the “madness” to focus on herself.

Kelly made some candid remarks about her stunning weight loss after the death of her rock legend father, Ozzy, at the age of 76 following a cardiac arrest.

During a chat with the Daily Mail, Kelly revealed how she went as far as donning a wig that would hide her cheekbones during her public outing due to how lean she had become.

“I looked like the f-cking Crypt Keeper,” the actress stated. “I said, ‘This is scary. I didn’t know I looked like this.’ My spine — you could see every single bone.”

Kelly continued, “I couldn’t see what other people saw because I was in so much pain. I just saw a broken person.”

Speaking about hiding her facial features during her 2026 Grammy Awards outing, she noted, “I wore a wig to cover my face, so you couldn’t see how skinny my cheekbones really were.”

Kelly noted during the interview that her stylists took note of her struggles and tried to dress her in ways that would make her look less skinny.

“They knew I was going through something. So, we were trying to find clothes to not make me look skinnier,” she said.

“I was scared,” Kelly continued, noting how she likely shouldn’t have attended he music event. “I wanted to be there to support my mum and to pay tribute to my father’s legacy. But in all honesty, when I reflect on it, I don’t think I should have gone.”

“I wasn’t very well,” she added about her Grammy Awards attendance.

Speaking more about the impact of her father’s death, Kelly stressed that she shielded her son, Sidney, from the pain she felt and would always put on a cheerful attitude whenever he was in her presence.

“Whenever he walked in the room, something would come over me, and I’d snap into Miss Fun Mum,” she stated. “I didn’t cry in front of him; I’d walk out of the room. I always made sure that he was not exposed to inappropriate sorrow.”

The Black Sabbath frontman’s family confirmed his death on July 22, 2025, shortly after his final concert and a public battle with Parkinson’s. He was 76.

“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning,” the family’s statement read at the time. “He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.”

Kelly broke her silence shortly after her father’s death, calling the rocker “the best friend I ever had.”

“I am so sad,” she wrote via her Instagram Story two days after her father’s death.

Concern regarding her thin frame hit a fever pitch when Kelly appeared alongside her mother, Sharon Osbourne, her brother, Jack Osbourne, and her ex-fiancé and former SlipKnot keyboardist Sid Wilson at the 2026 Grammys to honor her father’s legacy.

While speaking to the Daily Mail, Kelly admitted that she was afraid to appear publicly given her weight loss.

“I wore a wig to cover my face, so you couldn’t see how skinny my cheekbones really were,” she revealed, adding that she was worried the attention she knew she would get would distract from her father’s tribute.

Kelly previously slammed online commentators who accused her of using GLP-1 medications to lose weight in the midst of her grief.

“I don’t even know how to say this, so I’m just gonna say it,” Kelly said in a video shared during her mom’s appearance on a December 10 episode of Piers Morgan Uncensored. “To the people who keep thinking they’re being funny and mean by writing comments like ‘Are you ill?,’ or ‘Get off Ozempic,’ [or] ‘You don’t look right.’ My dad just died. And I’m doing the best that I can, and the only thing I have to live for right now is my family.”

The film looks like you took a Lisa Frank notebook and made it darker and a bit more twisted. Fans loved the film, even if the general response to the movie was a little more mixed. Lisa Frankenstein is described as follows: “A coming-of-RAGE love story about a teenager and her crush, who happens to be a corpse. After a set of horrific circumstances brings him back to life, the two embark on a journey to find love, happiness — and a few missing body parts.”

The love story of Lisa Frankenstein made it something more than just another Frankenstein story. It was bright, vibrant, weird, and something that allowed audiences who love the odder parts of Frankenstein to have something special. The critical response to the film earned it only a 52% splat rating on Rotten Tomatoes, but the audience response was decidedly better, giving the film an 82% overall. So, if you have ever wanted to see what a twisted, yet vibrant look at Frankenstein could be, look no further than Cody and Williams’ film Lisa Frankenstein. You will want to tease your hair after watching it, though.

Westerns had their heyday in the 50s and 60s, but it was the resurgence of the genre in the 90s that delivered some of the best classics. Perhaps one of the most beloved is Tombstone, the 1993 film that was an outlier in many ways. Star Kurt Russell had already set himself apart in Hollywood, but he accomplished even more than meets the eye in the beloved story.

Russell’s creative assistance behind the scenes after the original director, Kevin Jarre, dropped off was instrumental to the film, as was his portrayal of the famous Wyatt Earp. Tombstone depicts his time in the titular town and his foundational relationship with Doc Holliday (Val Kilmer). His saga, as well as his battle with the Cowboys, resulted in the best three words in Western history. At its heart, Tombstone is a love letter to the impressive real-life figure. The narrative concludes with a summation of the rest of Wyatt Earp’s life that is a culmination of the larger-than-life hero viewers had gotten to know. Tombstone proves why he was such a beloved character in the world, which is more or less stated during the voice-over narration of Earp’s funeral. No other words could explain it better than “Tom Mix wept.”

‘Tombstone’ Proved Why Wyatt Earp Had Such an Impressive Legacy

Westerns have a tendency to erase any vulnerability in these real-life heroes, but Tombstone is the antithesis of that. Wyatt Earp shows the whole spectrum of the emotional rainbow, emphasized by the reactions to his death in the final voice-over. Earp was such an iconic lawman of the time that he went on to consult on some of the best Westerns.

He was such a giant in the industry that one of the pallbearers at his funeral was Western actor Tom Mix, who had forged a close personal relationship with Earp. His emotion at his funeral crystallizes why the former lawman is such a personal hero for many. Tombstone covers some of the most tormented parts of his life. His conflict with the Cowboys starts in earnest when they shoot and kill his brother Morgan (Bill Paxton) and attack and maim his other brother, Virgil (Sam Elliott).

Virgil would never again have the use of his arm, and Earp rained down bloody vengeance on the entirety of the gang. One of his most impressive acts was at a famous shootout in a creek where Wyatt walked headlong into gunfire and did not suffer a scratch while killing many Cowboys himself. This is the type of story that would appear to be fictionalized for entertainment purposes, but many primary sources confirm the event happened in real life. This is how a historical figure becomes a legend, and Tombstone honors that legacy in the Kurt Russell film.

Wyatt Earp is arguably the most famous figure in Western history, and Tombstone only covers a fraction of his life. Even though the Western takes place after he is officially retired, it delivers all the moments that make a legend. Wyatt suffers incredible losses while also finding the love of his life, Josephine (Dana Delany), who stays with him until his death. There is no question why Tom Mix cried at his funeral after viewing one of the best Westerns of all time.

Oprah Winfrey stepped out at the Telluride Film Festival after speaking candidly about the role GLP-1 medication has played in her health journey. The television icon attended the North American premiere of “Everest: The Other Side” in Colorado on Saturday, where she interviewed ski mountaineer Jim Morrison in front of a live audience. Winfrey’s festival appearance comes months after she revealed she had reached 155 pounds and explained why she no longer blames herself for her longtime struggles with weight.

Winfrey arrived at the event in a cream-colored jacket and matching trousers featuring feathery details. The 72-year-old completed the outfit with a white tank top, brown boots, earrings and sunglasses. Her hair fell past her shoulders in voluminous waves.

Winfrey posed for photographs outside the venue and was later seen alongside her longtime friend Gayle King.

The TV Icon Has Been Candid About Her Weight Loss

Winfrey’s appearance follows a series of candid interviews about her decades-long struggle with weight and her eventual decision to use GLP-1 medication. During a January appearance on “The View,” she reflected on the constant thoughts about food, calories, and exercise that once occupied her mind.

“All these years… I was standing there with all the food noise, [thinking about] what I ate, what I should eat, how many calories was [in what I ate],” Winfrey said. “And how long it was going to take [to burn off]. And I thought that was because of me and that it was my fault.”

Winfrey said her understanding of obesity changed after learning more about its biological and genetic components. She explained that she now “understands that if you carry the obesity gene, that is what makes you overeat. You don’t overeat and become obese; obesity causes you to overeat.”

“Obesity causes you to have all that food noise. What GLP-1s have done for me and a number of other people is quiet that noise,” Winfrey added.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention notes that obesity is complex and that “no single genetic cause has been identified” in most cases. Genetics can influence obesity, but environmental, behavioral and other biological factors can also play a role.

Earlier this year, Winfrey revealed that she had reached 155 pounds, which she described as her marathon weight. The figure represents an 82-pound difference from the 237 pounds she previously identified as her highest weight. “I thought it was about discipline and willpower. But I stopped blaming myself,” she told PEOPLE. “I feel more alive and more vibrant than I’ve ever been.”

Winfrey has also emphasized that medication is only part of her health routine. She reportedly incorporates activities such as hiking, treadmill workouts, and weightlifting into her lifestyle. Her experiences helped inspire the book “Enough: Your Health, Your Weight, And What It’s Like To Be Free,” which she co-wrote with obesity specialist Dr. Ania Jastreboff.

She Regained Weight After Stopping The Medication

Winfrey has also revealed that she temporarily stopped using GLP-1 medication because she wanted to see whether she could maintain her results without it. “I was off of the medications all last year, and I gained 20 pounds because I wanted to test it,” she recalled. “Because everybody was saying, ‘you’re going to gain the weight’… I’m going to show them… I’m going to hike.”

However, Winfrey said thoughts about food gradually returned, even though she kept making healthy choices. “And then I was taking it, then I got off of it, and then I gained three pounds, and I gained five pounds, and I gained 10 pounds, and before you know it, the [food] noise was back,” she explained.

PEOPLE reported that Winfrey stopped the medication for 12 months before deciding it was an important long-term tool for managing her health.
