Peacock’s ‘Gladiator’ Successor Finally Gets a Win on a Familiar Streamer
The 2010 TV series Spartacus set the standard for ancient Rome/gladiator-centered stories on the small screen. Up to that point, ambitious storytelling was limited to feature films like the 2003 epic Gladiator. Spartacus became a global phenomenon as the gladiators tore through Roman society to free others from slavery. In 2024, eleven years had passed since fans had seen a good gladiator story on television. Those About to Die premiered on 18th July 2024 and immediately scratched that eleven-year itch. Made for the fledgling American streaming service Peacock, Those About to Die broke barriers when it went global on Prime Video, becoming one of the most talked about shows of that year. Two years later, Those About to Die is still showing signs of life.
Streaming data from FlixPatrol shows the Iwan Rheon-led drama experiencing renewed interest on another streaming service, Starz, which is fitting given that Starz is where Spartacus calls home. There is also a huge appetite for the ambitious series in Arabic-speaking countries. There is also significant interest in Nigeria, as Those About to Die is in the top ten most-watched shows on Amazon. Those About to Die follows a large ensemble of characters who find themselves in the city of dreams and ambition, Rome, through various means. It examines the disparities in life between the ordinary resident and the aristocratic elite in the context of Roman politics and entertainment.
‘Those About to Die’ Remains In Limbo
Two years later, the show has never been officially cancelled or renewed despite series director and executive producer Roland Emmerich expressing the desire to continue the story. “We have this idea to do a Godfather Part II model. Meaning, Godfather 1 was this perfect movie, and they said, “What should we do?” They went into the past,” he said in an interview. “You show how all this came to be, that Domitian (Jojo Macari) became emperor, and that gets his son in trouble because he’s related to him. They go after him and he survives. Then, on the other hand, tell the story of all these characters and what happens further. I don’t want to give that away.”
And while Those About to Die might not have satisfied that hunger fully, the Spartacus universe recently came back to life with the offshoot Spartacus: House of Ashur. It is an alternate-history reimagining of events where Ashur didn’t die and became the Dominus of his own house. Season 1 concluded last week, and the show has shown great potential with a 91% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes, in addition to topping streaming charts.
Watch Those About to Die on Peacock and Spartacus: House of Ashur on Starz.

How Bad Bunny’s Show Caused NYC’s Biggest Bathroom Break
Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl LX halftime show is breaking unimaginable records.
The Puerto Rican superstar’s much-talked-about performance on Feb 8 keeps ringing in milestones, from becoming the first halftime headliner to feature a Puerto Rican Sign Language (LSPR) interpreter to pausing bathroom breaks across New York City, according to new statistics.
Despite the accolades, Bad Bunny’s show has aroused mixed reactions from celebrities and even Donald Trump.

Statistics Reveal A Massive Synchronized Flush After Halftime Show

NYC Water shared data revealing how glued viewers were to their screens during Bad Bunny’s set, showing a striking contrast between bathroom usage during the show and immediately afterward.
“NYC saw a significant reduction in water usage throughout the five boroughs during the Super Bowl’s #BadBunny halftime show yesterday,” the agency wrote in a post on X. “But in the 15 minutes right after the show ended, there was a spike in usage equivalent to 761,719 toilets flushing across town. #SBLX”
As expected, fans wasted no time in commending the record. One internet user gushed about the accomplishments, writing, “If ‘holding it in’ was an Olympic sport, NYC just took the Gold. That’s the power of a legendary halftime show!”

A second individual added that nearly a million people stayed tuned, and yet critics labeled the show a “bathroom break.” This other fan quipped that Bad Bunny sparked the biggest “synchronized flush in NYC history.”
One fan praised viewers for “holding their pee,” while another joked that Bad Bunny had the city dancing first and sprinting to the bathroom afterward.
This internet user dubbed the 31-year-old singer “Environment protective Puerto Rican Papi,” and another suggested he should be given a Nobel prize for environmental protection.

Bad Bunny Brings LSPR Sign Language Interpreter For Show
In addition to the water record, The Blast reported that the halftime show also marked a groundbreaking moment for featuring a Puerto Rican Sign Language Interpreter for the first time.
Celimar Rivera Cosme, who has worked with the Grammy Winner for four years, was hired directly by the NFL to interpret the performance.
While American Sign Language (ASL) is typically used at major U.S. events, it is not the primary language for many of Puerto Rico’s estimated 220,000 deaf and hard-of-hearing residents.

Bad Bunny Praised By John Mellencamp, Meghan McCain, and Governor Gavin Newsom

Amid the wave of accomplishments, Bad Bunny’s halftime show also earned high praise from popular figures, including John Mellencamp, Meghan McCain, and California Governor Gavin Newsom.
As The Blast previously reported, Mellencamp applauded the performance for its cultural message, writing, “I don’t know what Bad Bunny is saying; however, I do know he is standing up for Puerto Rico, and I am standing up for him. His halftime show was great.”
McCain echoed a similar sentiment and questioned the backlash surrounding the gig. “I’m sorry, but I just genuinely question your taste level if you didn’t enjoy the Bad Bunny halftime show,” McCain wrote.
California Governor Gavin Newsom weighed in on the performance, describing it as beautiful.

‘Real Housewives Of New York City’ Alums Slam Bad Bunny’s Performance

However, not everyone in Hollywood was pleased with the show, as two “Real Housewives” alums wasted no time in voicing their disappointment with it. Jill Zarin blasted the show in a video reposted on X, calling it “the worst halftime show ever.”
She suggested that elements of the show, like the absence of “White people,” were meant to make a political statement. Zarin also took issue with Bad Bunny’s choreography, claiming the grabbing of his crotch signaled insecurity.
Taylor Armstrong followed suit in her criticism. She posted on her Instagram an edited image of herself on Russell Crowe’s body from “Gladiator,” with a caption highlighting her embarrassment at the NFL.
Donald Trump Calls Bad Bunny’s Halftime Show ‘A Slap in The Face’

One other person whose face wasn’t lit up by the Halftime Show was Trump, who, from the onset, was against the “Dakiti” singer headlining the stage. The president did not hold back in sharing his review on his Truth Social as soon as the show concluded.
According to The Blast, the U.S. leader branded the halftime show “terrible,” arguing that it diminished America’s greatness.
He also called the dancing “disgusting” and claimed the performance failed to reflect acceptable standards of creativity and excellence.
“This ‘Show’ is just a ‘slap in the face’ to our Country, which is setting new standards and records every single day,” Trump concluded.

‘Bachelor’ Alum Madi Prewett Recalls Emotional Weight Of Living ‘Double Life’
During an episode of Candace Cameron Bure’s podcast, Prewett—the runner-up of season 24 of the long-running dating show—recalled her earlier experiences living a “double life” due to what she labeled as her relationship with sexual sin.
Madi Prewett shared that she didn’t start living an authentic life until she entered college, where she was able to break “free” from her addictive “cycle.”

Madi Prewett Opens Up About The Young Age She Began Consuming NSFW Content
Prewett has been open about her Christian faith before, and while speaking with “Full House” alum Bure, she shared even more about her spirituality.
During the conversation, Prewett was candid and spoke about a deeply personal issue that she said began in her teenage years.
“Around 13, 14 I got introduced to pornography at a young age by a friend and that started a long battle for me with porn and masturbation,” she told Bure. “And that created a lot of shame and secrecy in my life.”
For Prewett, fighting her addiction to pornography was challenging, largely due to how she presented herself to the outside world.

“And on the outside, it looked like everything was fine. But behind closed doors I was living this double life of living in constant secret sexual sin and not confessing it to anybody,” she said.

Madi Prewett Says Her Addiction Brought Her ‘Shame’

Prewett, who has been married to her husband Grant Troutt since 2022, later told Bure that her addiction to pornography only brought her “sin and shame,” something she couldn’t overcome until college.
“It wasn’t until college when I really confessed that sin and the shame from that sin for the first time,” she said. “And I got free from it, and I was able to break free from that addiction and that cycle.”
Prewett stated that she felt much “lighter” after opening up about her sexual sin. “I felt freer it was the opposite of the lies that Satan was whispering in my mind.”

Madi Prewett Is Still Learning To Live In The ‘Light’
As Prewett’s emotional conversation with Bure continued, the mother of one added that being honest about her addiction with those closest to her helped her learn that life with God was a judgment-free zone.
“That was really what that journey was like for me,” she said. “Even to this day, having moments of shame popping back up, immediately just confess it and get it into the light and share it with a friend.”
Prewett previously opened up about her struggle with pornography during an episode of her own show, “Stay True,” according to a report from The Blast.
During the episode, Prewett stated that her addiction to sexually explicit material caused more harm than good.
“I questioned my worth and my identity. Every time I gave into sexual sin, I didn’t know my purpose,” she shared.

Also, during that episode, Prewett echoed a sentiment similar to the one above, revealing that even today she chooses to walk in the light rather than retreat when things get hard.
“It’s still a choice for me every single day, even as a married woman, to not return back to the past of my sexual sin addictions,” Prewett explained. “It’s still a choice every single day for me not to choose to lust after things that I see online or to give into a feeling that arises.”
Prewett’s Husband, Troutt, Shared His Own Struggles
Prewett isn’t the only one who has had to resist difficult urges, according to The Blast. On her podcast, Prewett spoke with her husband about his own struggles—something he described as a “shameful, roller-coaster cycle.”
Troutt admitted to smoking marijuana and being addicted to pornography before something clicked, prompting a deeply personal experience with his faith.
“It drove me to this place where I have nothing but [God]. … I just remember walking with Jesus, [and] he was healing me. It was like he was stripping everything in my life because it was drawing me right into the person of Jesus Christ,” he said.

Prewett Raised Eyebrows After Sharing She’d ‘Spank’ Her Daughter
In another episode of her podcast, Prewett discussed the unconventional way she and Troutt planned to parent their daughter, Hosanna.
“We will [spank her], on the record, because the Bible clearly says, ‘Folly is bound up in a child, but discipline drives it far away,’” Troutt said, to which Prewett added, “It also specifically says discipline with a rod. … Well, some people could say, ‘You can discipline them with time-outs.’ Hold on, it says with a rod.”
Prewett said that while she didn’t want to discipline her daughter, she would teach her that there were “consequences to disobedience.” She added, “And that’s what [my husband is] saying is, there are consequences to our sin. There are consequences to disobedience.”
The reaction to Prewett’s comments was swift, with one user asking the reality star, “What commandment did I miss?”
Another wrote that spanking children was proven not to work, while a third questioned whether the Bible was the appropriate source for parenting advice.
“The bible was written at a time before childhood psychologists existed, and research was done,” they shared.

Netflix’s ‘Stranger Things’ Spin-Off Teases Steve Harrington’s Most Complicated Season 5 Plot
Stranger Things features a cast of unique characters, and the standout is Steve Harrington (Joe Keery). His evolution from stereotypical jock to selfless warrior is arguably one of the best character journeys on television. That journey continues in Stranger Things: Tales from ’85, a new animated series set between the events of Stranger Things Seasons 2 and 3. Tales from ’85 is meant to tap into the early magic of Stranger Things, featuring plenty of Upside Down threats and the character dynamics fans love. Its very first trailer also reveals that Steve is still in love with Nancy Wheeler (Natalia Dyer).
In the Tales from ’85 trailer. Steve (voiced by Jeremy Jordan) is shown speaking with another girl his age, Natalie, who admits she has a crush on him. Without missing a beat, Steve says, “I always had a crush on you, too, Nancy.” While it could be argued that Steve confused Nancy and Natalie, it’s no surprise that he still thinks about Nancy. The pair dated throughout Seasons 1 and 2, until Nancy broke up with Steve because of the guilt of losing her friend Barb (Shannon Purser) and ofwitnessing the terrors of the Upside Down. While they eventually reconcile and become friends, Stranger Things: Tales from ’85 suggests that Steve’s feelings will play a major role in the plot.
‘Stranger Things’ Has Hinted That Steve Still Loves Nancy
While the reveal of Steve’s feelings might be a shock to some Stranger Things fans, others know it’s not the first time he’s confirmed he still loves Nancy. Season 4 dropped a major hint during the Season 4 episode “Papa”; while Nancy and Steve are driving to pick up weapons for the upcoming battle against Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower), Steve tells her about his dream for the future. That dream includes taking “a full brood of Harringtons” in an RV like the one he’s driving, not to fight eldritch horrors but to spend a day at the lake. The fact that Steve opens up to Nancy about all this confirms he wants her to join him on that trip, even if he doesn’t say it out loud.
Even Stranger Things Season 5 seemed like it was setting the stage for Steve and Nancy to reunite, especially when Jonathan (Charlie Heaton) “un-proposes” to Nancy when they’re trapped in a flesh-melting bubble. Yet the two take separate paths by the end of the series finale, “The Rightside Up,” with Nancy taking a job at the Boston Herald and Steve picking up Little League coaching duties at Hawkins High. Stranger Things creators Ross and Matt Duffer reveal that this finale was where they wanted the characters to end up, with Ross pointing out that Nancy was still figuring out her life.
“And then for Nancy, we never want her to take the obvious path. Even in Season 1 when she’s going down the trajectory that all these suburban girls go down, Nancy obviously has proven to be much more independent than that, which is one reason she and Jonathan aren’t together at the end. She’s still trying to find herself and what she wants from the world, so that’s why we wanted to give her that ending.”
The scene where Nancy, Steve, Jonathan, and Robin (Maya Hawke) reunite has a bittersweet edge, as they’ve all grown apart yet promise to stay in touch. This is the Duffers’ way of leaving the door open for anyone who wants to tell more stories in the Stranger Things world, and could be how Steve and Nancy rekindle their romance.
The series was first announced in 2023.
Romance is a Key Part of the Narrative in ‘Stranger Things: Tales from ’85’
Steve won’t be the only character going through romantic issues in Stranger Things: Tales from ’85. The series is set to explore how two of the most prominent couples got together, with a focus on Mike (Luca Diaz) and Eleven (Brooklyn Davey Norstedt) as well as Lucas (Elisha “EJ” Williams) and Max (Jolie Hoang-Rappaport). Showrunner Eric Robles previously teased that Tales from ’85 will dig deeper into the characters in a way that the flagship show didn’t, while still retaining the elements that made fans fall in love with it. One of those elements was the ebb and flow of the romance, and Steve’s lingering feelings for Nancy are a big part of that.
Stranger Things: Tales From ’85 will premiere exclusively on Netflix on April 23, 2026. Stay tuned to Collider for future updates.

Nancy Guthrie Investigators Detain Person for Questioning Over Abduction
Police have detained an individual in connection to the abduction of Savannah Guthrie’s mom, Nancy Guthrie.
The Pima County Sheriff’s department, with assistance from the FBI, have brought a person in for questioning about the 84-year-old’s disappearance, law enforcement confirmed on Tuesday, February 10.
“Earlier today, Pima County Sheriff’s Department deputies detained a subject during a trafic stop south of Tucson,” Sheriff Chris Nanos shared in a statement via X. “The subject is currently being questioned in connection to the Nancy Guthrie investigation. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.”
A law enforcement official briefed on the investigation told ABC News that police are also reportedly gearing up to search a location associated with the subject.
The news comes just hours after the FBI released black-and-white photos and surveillance footage from Nancy’s home that showed a masked individual with an apparent stored gun in their waistband seemingly trying to break a camera by Nancy’s front door.
Us Weekly has reached out to the FBI and Pima County Sheriff’s department.
FBI Director Kash Patel later addressed the footage in a statement via X, writing, “New images in the search for Nancy Guthrie. Over the last eight days, the FBI and Pima County Sheriff’s Department have been working closely with our private sector partners to continue to recover any images or video footage from Nancy Guthrie’s home that may have been lost, corrupted, or inaccessible due to a variety of factors – including the removal of recording devices. The video was recovered from residual data located in backend systems.”
He continued, “Working with our partners — as of this morning, law enforcement has uncovered these previously inaccessible new images showing an armed individual appearing to have tampered with the camera at Nancy Guthrie’s front door the morning of her disappearance.”
Savannah, 54, shared the photos via her Instagram alongside a caption that read, “We believe she is still alive. Bring her home. Anyone with information, please contact 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324) or the Pima County Sheriff’s Department 520-351-4900.”
Her husband, Michael Feldman, also spoke out in light of the released images. “Someone out there may recognize this person,” Feldman, 57, wrote via his own Instagram account. “Please help us. Bring her home.”
Later on Tuesday, a report published by People revealed that officials from both Pima County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI “were seen searching the neighborhood” of Savannah’s sister, Annie Guthrie, and “asking neighbors questions.” (Nancy is the mother of daughters Savannah and Annie as well as son Carmon Guthrie.)
An additional report by TMZ alleged that TMZ had “seen activity for the first time in the Bitcoin account listed in the first ransom note” that had been sent to them. The report noted that the amount would not be revealed “for various reasons,” but the activity allegedly took place at around 4:00 PM PT.
Nancy was reported missing by a family member who called 911 on February 1. She was last seen one day prior by Annie, as confirmed by Us Weekly the following day, after Annie and her husband, Tommaso Cioni, dropped Nancy to her home following a January 31 family dinner.
In the days following Nancy’s disappearance, the person or people who allegedly took Nancy sent one of multiple ransom notes to several media outlets including TMZ. The ransom note asked for the Guthrie family to pay millions of dollars in Bitcoin to an account.
Tucson ABC affiliate KGUN9 was one of the media outlets and reported on Sunday, February 8, that the note “demanded that the Guthries pay them $6 million.”

Summer House Recap: Kyle Complains About Sex Life Before Amanda Split
Kyle Cooke aired his and estranged wife Amanda Batula’s dirty laundry on Summer House months before their split made headlines.
“There are so many things that Amanda and I need to talk about,” Kyle, 43, told pals West Wilson and Jesse Solomon during the Tuesday, February 10, episode of the Bravo series.
Fans previously saw Kyle yell at Amanda, 34, during the season 10 premiere after she allegedly went naked in the pool at the Hamptons house— even though she was wearing a bra. (Kyle was also in the pool at the time.)
When asked in Tuesday’s episode about why he was being “spicy” toward Amanda and seemingly getting “jealous,” Kyle confessed there was more to his frustrations than meets the eye.
“I shouldn’t say this, but she acted like — the last two years, she smokes weed every night,” Kyle claimed.
West, 31, was surprised by Kyle’s allegations, asking, “She what? Passes out?”
When Kyle confirmed that Amanda often went to bed early, West asked, “When do you f***?” Kyle made a face and replied, “Good question,” implying they were not having sex.
West continued to inquire about Kyle and Amanda’s sex life, wondering if it’s “never” happening or “just less than you’d like?”

Jesse Solomon, West Wilson, Kyle Cooke. Bryan Bedder/Bravo
Kyle insinuated that he and Amanda were not intimate at all, saying, “If she smokes weed every single night …”
West filled in the blanks, asking, “You aren’t f***ing?” to which Kyle opened his eyes wide, seemingly confirming West’s assumptions. “No? OK,” West replied.
Kyle continued to vent about his and Amanda’s relationship, telling the boys, “My apartment smells like a frat house and it looks like a frat house because she’s chaotically living.”
He claimed he “can’t even hire a cleaning company because there’s too much s***,” comparing his and Amanda’s apartment to an episode of Hoarders.
Kyle alleged that it got so bad that he “begged” Amanda’s mom to “come into the city and help,” which she did about one year prior.
As Kyle was complaining about Amanda, she walked up to the group from where she was standing with the other girls and everyone went quiet.
“Now I feel bad,” Kyle said under his breath.
Newbie KJ Dillard raised eyebrows, telling Kyle, “We’re here for you, man,” which caused Amanda to do a double take.
“What the f***? What is going on? Kyle,” Amanda asked, visibly upset. “Someone say it. I’m going to find out one way or the other.”
When Kyle struggled to find the words, Amanda quipped, “Cat got your tongue? You got a lot to say to everyone else.”
Kyle took a beat before telling his wife, “I just feel like you’re very disinterested in me and us.” He then claimed, “You haven’t asked a question in years.”
Amanda claimed that Kyle was guilty of overexaggerating. “I want companionship and friendship and I don’t get that. You don’t give me anything,” he responded, which Amanda argued was “not true.”
Amanda pointed out that it made her “uncomfortable” that Kyle chose to tell “everyone” how he feels except for her and said it proved that they were not communicating.
“I don’t know what else to do. I’m putting up smoke signals, like, I’m like, ‘Help!’” Kyle said.
Amanda told him they would “talk about this later,” upsetting Kyle and forcing him to walk out of the bar.
The argument between Kyle and Amanda was one of many they had during Tuesday’s episode, which was filmed in summer 2025. The couple, who were married for four years, announced their split in January.

Amanda Batula, Kyle Cooke. Courtesy of Amanda Batula/Instagram
Kyle confessed to pal Carl Radke on Tuesday that he felt “embarrassed” by his behavior and “ashamed” he told some of the new housemates about his and Amanda’s problems. He also expressed concerns about his marriage.
“I get that I work a lot, but when I do make an effort with Amanda, I don’t feel like it’s reciprocated,” Kyle said, claiming that the couple were “not on the brink of collapse” despite their arguments.
The episode ended with another fight between Kyle and Amanda while he was trying to apologize to the group during dinner.
“What I was trying to say is, out of respect for my marriage and my wife, I apologize for kinda airing some dirty laundry. And letting some of my emotions get the best of me,” Kyle said after Ciara Miller was caught laughing about his apology to Amanda across the table.
Amanda chimed in, saying, “I feel like this apology should’ve been given to me directly.”
Kyle claimed he already said “sorry” to his spouse when they left the Hamptons to go back to New York City the weekend before.
“OK. It doesn’t need to be given to the whole table,” Amanda continued, which hurt Kyle’s feelings.
He explained that he wanted to speak to everyone because “it would be great if people were a little respectful at times” before calling out Ciara, 30, for interrupting him earlier.
“Kyle, don’t do that to Ciara,” Amanda told him, defending her friend.
When Kyle pointed out that Ciara was “laughing at me,” Amanda replied, “OK. So was I,” causing him to get even more upset and storm off into the house.
Summer House airs on Bravo Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET.

Savannah Guthrie’s Husband Breaks Silence Over FBI Nancy Subject Pics
Savannah Guthrie’s husband, Michael Feldman, is speaking out after the FBI released photos of a possible subject in his mother-in-law Nancy Guthrie’s missing person’s case.
“Someone out there may recognize this person,” Feldman, 57, wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, February 10, sharing the photos and video footage of the alleged abduction subject.
He pleaded with his followers, “Please help us. Bring her home.” Nancy, 84, was reported missing on February 1 and has not been found.
Feldman, who has been married to Savannah, 54, since 2014, reposted the FBI’s surveillance camera footage from Nancy’s home in Tucson, Arizona, hours after authorities shared the video publicly. (Feldman and Savannah share daughter Vale, born in August 2014, and son Charley born in December 2016.)

In the black and white video, a masked man approaches what appears to be Nancy’s front door. He tries to cover the camera with his glove before walking back to the arched entrance and picking up something on the ground, seemingly to knock out the cameras.
“New images in the search for Nancy Guthrie,” FBI Director Kash Patel wrote via X on Tuesday, sharing the clip and four black-and-white photos from the scene. “Over the last eight days, the FBI and Pima County Sheriff’s Department have been working closely with our private sector partners to continue to recover any images or video footage from Nancy Guthrie’s home that may have been lost, corrupted, or inaccessible due to a variety of factors – including the removal of recording devices. The video was recovered from residual data located in backend systems.”
The FBI added, “Working with our partners — as of this morning, law enforcement has uncovered these previously inaccessible new images showing an armed individual appearing to have tampered with the camera at Nancy Guthrie’s front door the morning of her disappearance.”
Feldman also shared two of the images with his social media followers, including a full body shot of the alleged assailant and a close-up image of the man holding a plant of some sort.
His last Instagram slide included two pictures of Nancy and the FBI tipline phone number as well as the Pima County Sheriff’s Department number for any tips in the case.

Savannah, who has been absent from the Today show since her mom’s disappearance, also spoke about the new surveillance photos on Tuesday.
“We believe she is still alive. Bring her home,” Savannah wrote via Instagram. “Anyone with information, please contact 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324) or the Pima County Sheriff’s Department 520-351-4900.”
In a separate social media post, Savannah wrote, “Someone out there recognizes this person. We believe she is still out there. Bring her home.”
Nancy was last seen on January 31 after attending dinner with family members, including daughter Annie Guthrie. (Nancy shares daughters Annie and Savannah and son Camron Guthrie with late husband Charles Guthrie, who died when he was 49 after suffering a heart attack.)
Savannah’s mom was reported missing the next day after she failed to join friends and watch her Sunday church service virtually.
“We have a start point,” Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos exclusively told Us Weekly on February 2, noting that Annie was the last person to see her mother. “The family took her home from dinner at about 9:30 to 9:45 [p.m.]” on Saturday, January 31.

He added, “So we would back that up to even say 9 or 8:30 p.m. to start looking.”
As the search for Nancy has continued, Savannah and her siblings have spoken out in hopes that someone will come forward with information that may help bring her back.
“Our mom is a kind, faithful, loyal, fiercely loving woman of goodness and light. She is funny, spunky and clever,” the Guthries said in an Instagram video shared on February 4. “She has grandchildren who adore her and crowd around her and cover her with kisses. She loves fun and adventure. She is a devoted friend. She is full of kindness and knowledge. Talk to her and you’ll see.”
On Sunday, February 8, authorities confirmed that the investigation is ongoing. The next day, Savannah posted an emotional video before the deadline for an alleged $6 million ransom was due.
“I just wanted to come on and share some thoughts as we enter into another week of this nightmare,” Savannah said on Monday, February 9. “We believe that somehow, some way, [Nancy] is feeling these prayers and that God is lifting her even in this moment and in this darkest place. We believe our mom is still out there.”
While Savannah and her siblings have been vocal throughout the search for Nancy, Savannah’s husband has been quiet on social media. However, he broke his silence on Tuesday to share the FBI photos.
Although Feldman’s post was direct and to the point, Us spoke with former CIA officer Tracy Walder on Tuesday about what the pictures reveal about the crime.
“A couple of things that stand out to me [are] you don’t see a vehicle in the background,” Walder explained. “Whoever got here was either dropped off, which would have been pinged, but either they were dropped off out of the camera’s view, they walked there, biked there or whatever. I think that’s the first thing we are seeing.”
Walder added, “I think the second thing we are seeing and what these videos tell me is what I have said from the beginning. This was definitely targeted and this was definitely planned.”
While Walder is not part of the investigation, they told Us the pictures lead her to think the alleged kidnapper “had the intention” before approaching the house “because in the backpack — I think — were things to subdue her or restrain her, one of the two.”
Walker mused, “Those can be so many different things. It can be rope, zip ties, handcuffs, a blanket.”

The battery life is twice as long as the Studio 3’s, which is a big plus. This is probably my 15th pair of headphones and they are absolutely the best.”

2026’s First Major Horror Disaster Craters in Week 3
Despite recent examples of success, such as the Walton Goggins- and Ella Purnell-led Fallout, video game adaptations remain a major point of controversy in the film industry. Among these video game adaptations to struggle, it is often those in the horror genre that prove most painful, as die-hard fans are regularly let down by cheap interpretations of a beloved original IP. This, sadly, is the fate that has befallen Return to Silent Hill, the third movie installment in the Silent Hill franchise.
After making its debut on January 23, any excitement about a long-awaited return to one of horror gaming’s best titles was destroyed as both critics and fans delivered damning reviews of the movie. On review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, an audience score of 30% is positively glowing compared to critics’ 18%, with the consensus on the site reading, “A visually tacky sequel that lumbers along with a plodding pulse and lacking the thematic resonance that distinguished its source material, Return to Silent Hill gets lost in the haze.” In Ross Bonaime‘s review of the movie for Collider, he called it “an ugly, laughable adaptation that proves that maybe we should’ve never gone back to Silent Hill.”
At the U.S. box office, the movie hasn’t found much luck either, with its disappointing second week compounded by a recent third that saw the movie slip from 12th in the charts to becoming unranked. Thanks to a drop in theaters from 1,608 the week before to 273 this past weekend, Return to Silent Hill earned just $115,559. On Sunday, revenue fell 89% to $35,000 compared to the prior Sunday, even as the number of theaters showing the movie declined.
‘Return to Silent Hill’ is Quietly Redeeming Itself in China
Against a reported budget of $23 million, Return to Silent Hill‘s dismal $5.5 million domestic haul to date suggests it could be one of the worst flops of the year financially. However, the film has proven much more popular internationally, with a $13 million run in China so far, helping take its global total past the $25 million mark. That being said, any chance of this proving a successful financial venture for those involved remains slim.
Return to Silent Hill is available to watch in some theaters. Make sure to stay tuned to Collider for the latest box office updates.
