Tracy Spiridakos revealed which of her Chicago P.D. costars have already tried to score roles on her new crime-drama show, Anna Pigeon.

“I love them all so much. So I would love for them to all come play. Jason [Beghe] sent me a video where he said he wanted to play my dad,” Spiridakos, 38, exclusively told Us. “And when I got the part, he sent me a video saying congratulations on my first day — and that he wanted to come play my dad.”

Spiridakos has also seen fans weighing in about who should join the cast. “I’ve heard them say that they want Jesse [Lee Soffer] to come and play a villain on the show,” she noted. “I’m up for that. So that would be fun.”

After Us brought up how Soffer, 42, has pitched the idea of him playing a park ranger on the upcoming USA Network show, Spiridakos added, “You have to talk to the boss.” Director Lea Thompson, meanwhile, seemed to give her stamp of approval during the joint interview.

“No, that would be great. He’s wonderful,” she told Us. “I’d love him to direct too.”

Anna Pigeon, which airs Fridays, follows Spiridakos in the lead role as a former city girl who becomes a park ranger after a tragic loss changes her life. Along the way, Anna finds herself solving crimes in Glacier National Park.

The series marks Spiridakos’ return to TV after her shocking exit from NBC’s Chicago P.D. Spiridakos recently reprised the role of Hailey Upton during a One Chicago crossover event, which also featured Soffer.

At the time, Spiridakos addressed the chances of her reuniting with Soffer on her new project.

“Oh, my God, that’d be amazing,” Spiridakos said in March after playing onscreen love interests with Soffer in Anna Pigeon. “We’ll have to do some calling [around to the] producers and [have] conversations, but yeah, that’d be really fun.”

Soffer seemed thrilled by the possibility. “That’d be crazy. The green hat, little green hat,” he quipped. “[That would be] so funny.”

For Spiridakos, Anna Pigeon was a fun challenge after her time playing Hailey.

“I read the pilot and completely fell in love with it. I wasn’t familiar with the books before this project came along but I loved the character. I thought she was so interesting and complicated,” she told Us about the story line. “I loved that even though she’s going through this personal grief and growth and this tragedy that she’s experienced, she doesn’t take herself too seriously. She has moments of levity and I love that she’s funny and sarcastic.”

Spiridakos was thrilled to try something new, sharing, “I was really drawn to that. And I think the thing for me is that Hailey was a very intense character — and so fun to play. But her emotions were always … she put a lid on them and that was part of her. But Anna is wild. She just goes on impulse and on whatever feeling she’s having. She lives very outwardly. I love that. It was such a fun difference.”

She concluded: “They’re both really complicated and powerful women but they do it differently. So it was really attractive for me to get to know her better.”

Britney Spears continues to speak her truth, this time admitting she feels like a failure when it comes to motherhood.

After reconnecting with her sons, Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19, earlier this year, the singer and her boys have been spending more time together.

Now, Spears, in a raw confession, revealed a moment with one of her boys confirmed her biggest fear of being a bad parent, just like hers.

In one of her usual social media rants, the Princess of Pop uploaded a throwback picture of Sean and Jayden as toddlers. 

Gushing about their little bodies came out of her, Spears revealed, “Yes, they are mine. Unfortunately, it wasn’t until 5 years ago that I saw they were secretly taken to the beach by my mom and dad.”

The “Toxic” singer recalled being ostracized from the summer outings with her sons, with her dad once refusing to let her go to a diner after getting the attention of the paparazzi. Lamenting the pain, she wrote:

“I felt demoralized to live in a country where it was accepted for people like my mom and dad to live secret lives with my children. It was demoralizing. I honestly went to my knees and cried for two months.”

Spears then painfully looked back at her conservatorship, which ended in November 2021, admitting it stripped her of the right and freedom to truly be herself. 

The 44-year-old noted she used to be “unbelievably intelligent,” until she was “brainwashed into an Ignorant system where every goddamn person took advantage of me.”

Calling herself an angel, Spears reflected on her youthful exuberance and passion for life.

However, all that was stripped from her during the conservatorship, and she can’t help but ask now that she’s older, “How the hell would a government allow that?”

The X post then took a somber tone when Spears honestly examined her parenting skills, recalling the moment one of her sons told her he doesn’t personally believe in God.

Although she didn’t reveal the identity, the “Gimme More” songstress confessed in that moment she believed she “had failed as a mother. Nevertheless, Spears, who has had a phase of doubt like her son, declared “there is a Holy Spirit that sits high in the kingdom of heaven…I’ve been there. I’ve felt it.”

The entertainer noted that she wants to turn over a new leaf and apologize to her kids and others about her past mistakes. She also revealed her intention not to participate in the business of music anymore.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms caught everyone’s attention at the beginning of the year as the Game of Thrones spin-off offered a unique look at Westeros. The story follows Ser Duncan the Tall (Peter Claffey) and his royal squire Prince Aegon “Egg” (Dexter Sol Ansell) through a chaotic tourney, but these two central characters are far from the only lovable faces in the series. From the ever-stressed Maekar (Sam Spruell) to the lively Lyonel Baratheon (Daniel Ings), A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is full of unforgettable characters that fans want more of. However, in that regard, Season 2 will be a disappointment.

HBO is well on its way with Season 2, and remains on track for an early 2027 release, though little is officially confirmed. However, fans do have some hints, as the season will follow the second story in George R.R. Martin‘s series, “The Sworn Sword.” Based on Season 1’s strict loyalty to the books, it seems unlikely that Season 2 will make many changes, which gives readers a clear idea of what they will see, but it comes with the major drawback that few characters will return. With little connection to Egg’s family or the ruling Houses of Westeros, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Season 2 is set to be more removed from the rest of the franchise than ever. However, it promises to tell an exciting story with Dunk and Egg at the center.

‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ Season 2 Won’t Bring Back Fan Favorite Characters

While Season 1 placed Dunk in the middle of the Targaryen family drama, featuring Baelor (Bertie Carvel), Aerion (Finn Bennett), and more, Season 2 will not return to these characters. Only Dunk and Egg themselves are set to reappear in the next installment, which means saying goodbye to many fan favorites. It’s easy to see why A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms would do this after Dunk explicitly turned down positions with the Targaryens and Lyonel Baratheon in Season 1’s finale. As Season 2 honors Dunk’s choice to remain as a simple hedge knight, the series will have to take a turn, introducing new characters rather than growing the ones fans met before. This is bad news for the likes of Raymund Fossaway (Shaun Thomas) and Daeron (Henry Ashton), but it opens up new opportunities for the series.

More than not bringing back familiar faces, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Season 2 will lack Westeros’ well-known families. Going by the book, the story will move away from the Great Houses as Dunk and Egg serve Eustace Osgrey (Peter Mullan), a landed knight in the Reach. While this is true to Dunk’s character, who doesn’t feel like he belongs in highborn society, it is a major change of pace for Game of Thrones‘ prequel formula. Both A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms and House of the Dragon have made the most of Westeros’ recognizable family names, tying the stories into the original series. But the franchise connections in Dunk’s next adventure won’t be as obvious with the lack of major houses.

‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ Season 2 Will Tell a Drastically Different Story

While saying goodbye to the characters fans have gotten to love will be a disappointment, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Season 2 has a lot to offer. The story is set to continue Dunk’s journey as he trains Egg in the way of a hedge knight, traveling Westeros and helping different lords and ladies. In Martin’s Tales of Dunk and Egg, each situation the duo finds themselves in tests Dunk’s sense of honor, which is all too rare, even among knights, but each story is different. Rather than a tourney, Season 2 will feature the characters navigating a petty feud between two houses during a drought. But to tell this story, Season 2 will introduce a new supporting cast, which so far consists of Lucy Boynton as Lady Rohanne and Peter Mullan as Ser Eustace Osgrey, the leaders of the feuding houses, and Babou Ceesay as Ser Bennis of the Brown Shield, a fellow hedge knight working with Dunk.

Unfortunately, the upcoming shift will leave many of the questions fans had following Season 1’s conclusion unexplored. But one storyline A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Season 1 set up will continue as the series shows the impact of the Blackfyre Rebellion. Though Season 1 gave a general overview of the recent war as characters discussed it, Season 2 will show how the conflict continues to divide Westeros years after the fighting officially stopped. Ultimately, Season 2’s focus will remain on Dunk and Egg rather than the fascinating supporting characters from Season 1, giving the leads a chance to shine.

Kourtney Kardashian added a new twist on the boss title!

The reality star’s former staff is revealing the extent of her responsibility working with the mother of four and the lessons she picked up on her work ethic during her time there.

Kourtney Kardashian, who launched a multi-million-dollar wellness and lifestyle brand, Lemme, in 2022, is married to Travis Barker and running a blended family of seven children.

Leah Barrs, during her appearance on the “Boyfriend Material” podcast, informed Harry Jowsey that while she cannot go into details about Kardashian and her family, probably due to an NDA, she did remember how she landed the nanny job. Barrs recalled being super excited when a pastor from a church she attended in Los Angeles informed her about the position.

She immediately accepted the offer, and that experience shaped her in many ways as she got to learn a lot. Barrs explained that the eldest Kardashian sibling taught her to be a better worker and not just a nanny to her kids. “Networking, being the best version of myself. Representing that family. Everyone always said, ‘You should start your own agency,’” she added.

During her time with Kardashian, Barrs looked after the reality star’s three children, whom she shared with Scott Disick during their decade-long relationship. The nanny left the position in 2022 before Kardashian welcomed her youngest child with Barker.

She, however, revisited the issue with Jowsey, laying to rest some false reports by stating a resounding “no” to the possibility of that mystery man being Barker. She explained that it happened almost ten years ago when she first moved to Los Angeles as a 22-year-old.

While she regrets the move, she clarified that the man was single when they hooked up, and they have been friends before she started working for him as a nanny. “I did him a favor one night, and he came back from his event. The daughter was asleep. Technically, I’m clocked out … I’ve always thought he was hot. We hooked up,” Barrs noted.

She stressed that she is not the same person she was back then today, and the man she had a fling with is now happily married. Barrs also added that producers found a way to blow such an insignificant story out of proportion for views.

Before we get into the HOH comp results, how satisfying was it to see Haley Thogmartin’s jaw drop when Julie Chen announced that Lyric Medeiros was evicted? Drew Campbell was her initial target, Melody Morris was her back-up target. They’d talked about Lyric but then decided to keep her, then BOOM. Flipped!

Big Brother: Week 5 Betrayal

The icons betrayed the rest of the Red Corner. Haley’s look was everything. To her credit, Dee Valladares faked looking absolutely stunned about it. And then, when her back was to Haley, I saw Dee’s scheming face on and she was in damage control mode.

Chuk Anyanwu and Kamuela “Kamu” Kirk’s faces were also so incredibly vacant and stunned. After all of Haley’s drama about having 3 rough weeks, she ran power mad and then was totally blindsided.

On the plus side, Lyric really didn’t want to be in the house. She wants to be with Rome Seymour who I bet is hopping a flight right now from Delray Beach to get to LA to canoodle with his future fiancée.

Big Brother 28: Icon Damage Control and Strategic Maneuvering

So, after the icons hijacked eviction night, Angela Murray, Dee and Rick Devens had to cover their butts. Angela immediately ran over to chat with Haley and Chuk about this shocking turn of events. Haley was upset saying she made it clear she wanted Melody gone.

Angela talked to Melody and promised to save her. And right after eviction reminded Mallory and Melody no one could know that she flipped on the others. They are sitting on her and Dee’s secret. What’s funny is Angela convinced Haley it wasn’t her.

Dee playing shocked convinced Haley. And Devens owned his vote but played it off saying he thought he was supposed to do that after Drew won blockbuster. Devens claimed he thought Lyric was the target. And that seems to have bought him some grace since he owned it.

Big Brother: Doubts in the House

What’s funny is Chuk, Kamu, Haley and Yash Patel are now all doubting each other. Angela even floated an idea that Lyric might’ve earned a penalty vote. Angela said “You know how when you are a have-not and if you eat there is a penalty?”

She told Haley if you are on the block you get a penalty vote on you. Haley asked “So you mean a vote got taken away?” Angela said, “It could be either way”. Haley said “So you think Lyric ate something?”

Angela told her,” I don’t know. We were suspect. I’m just wondering cause it’s a special season.”

Haley actually bought it which is insane because the math doesn’t math. There would’ve been one more vote than expected. Next, Haley suspected a power was used to swap votes and maybe no one flipped. And Haley later suspected Kamu flipped on her because of a dream she had.

Big Brother 28: Wall Competition and Lala’s Victory

Then the feeds went down for the wall comp but then came back up. Angela was instantly down, with her pink shirt spotlessly clean. One tilt and boom. It was a national forest themed comp and the competitor was in a park ranger outfit.

Big Foot showed up and after each appearance they got splattered with colored slime and the obligatory freezing cold rainstorms. Next off the wall, which surprised me, was Taylor Brown dropping next after 30 minutes.

Long tall Barrett Pfeiffer was out 10 minutes later. And Devens went right after him. I’d predicted Angela then Devens so Taylor and Barrett surprised me going out so soon.

Lala Makes Big Brother History

This year, they had more of a variety of handholds. Each person had a height-adjusted station with an overhead bar parallel to the ground and then the usual hand holds to each side of your hips.

Dee fell 20 minutes after Taylor which was surprising as well. 10 more minutes, Melody. Another 10 minutes and musclebound mini Mallory was off the wall and Chuk went next but he slipped.

Yash slipped and fell maybe two minutes later. That left Kamu, LaTrice “Lala” Verrett and Drew. An hour and 20 minutes into it, Drew slipped, swung by the upper bar for a moment then fell.

That left Kamu vs Lala. And then of course, production cut the feeds so we didn’t get to see how much longer Kamu lasted. In less than two hours, the houseguests were back inside the house and Lala had the HOH key.

Lala won. Which is truly impressive since she’s had reconstructive surgery on both her shoulders. And she’s the oldest woman in the house. And this makes Lala the oldest wall comp winner in Big Brother history – regular Big Brother that is.

Because in Celebrity Big Brother S2, Kato Kaelin actually won the wall comp at age 59. You know, the guy who used to live in OJ Simpson’s guest house. Taylor and Devens did a cute skit on the wall that I hope makes it to the CBS edited episode.

Big Brother 28: Lala’s Nomination Strategy

So, Lala and Taylor had an epic celebration. And now, Lala’s planning to nominate Drew, Barrett and Kamu and save Haley for a backdoor to give the poor girl a rest for a day or two after her really rough week abusing her power.

Lala said she will not nominate Angela or Dee, and won’t nominate Chuk because he’s another black houseguest. Lala was very clear on that even though Taylor kinda wanted him on the block.

As for her nominee choices, although they’re not locked in yet. Drew is an emotional choice, I feel like more so than strategic. But I get it. He’s been hating on Lala since day 1. I heard Drew talking about how he hates seeing Lala walk around in her bikini and heels. Drew actually used the word hate.

Barrett’s in the middle with him and Kamu’s problematic. However, last night, things were still in flux and Lala told Taylor that she wanted Devens out. Thing is, Lala doesn’t know he won’t go on her HOH. Devens can’t be evicted this week because of his power.

Big Brother: Diamond Power of Veto Not Used?

Lala doesn’t know Devens is sitting on the Diamond Power of Veto. At least if she doesn’t nominate Angela and Dee, he won’t use it. Not sure if Devens would use it on Angela but he would on Dee. Because if Lala nominated or renoms Devens, he can pull out that DPOV.

Then, he pulls himself off the block and renoms someone else. He could renom Haley or Chuk so 2 of the 3 Red Corner triplets are block-sitting on eviction night. Lala and Taylor suspect Devens has a power and want to flush it.

But it will flush Lala’s HOH down the toilet if she does but she has no idea. Fortunately, Devens got closer to Taylor this week and they’re lowkey working together. So, Devens asked Taylor if it’s okay to mention to Lala they’re working together and she said yes.

And then Taylor went to work as soon as Lala brought up Devens name and talked her out of putting him up. Taylor gently worked her around asking if it was good for Lala’s game or was it retribution for Rome. Lala admitted she didn’t like Devens lying to Rome’s face.

Big Brother: Barrett’s Not Getting it

Ultimately, Taylor convinced her not to go after Devens. She said it could come back and bite Lala later. Drew anticipated that he’d be nominated again. But Barrett’s going to be blindsided. He thought Lala being in power meant he was safe, but he’s more of a pawn.

Kamu nommed with Haley as backdoor are Lala’s targets. And the icons will live to fight another day. They got away with their vote flip. Have Nots for the week are Barrett, Chuk, Haley and Drew.

Suffice to say that Haley’s about to have a really bad week after being a bit of a tyrant on her HOH.

There’s nothing like a little friendly competition to turn an ordinary day into a hilarious moment, and Marjorie Harvey and Steve Harvey proved just that. The couple recently gave fans a peek into one of their outdoor adventures, and judging by the laughs, one of them may have been a little more experienced than the other.

Steve Harvey Had Marjorie Showing Off Her Catch

In a video shared to Marjorie Harvey’s Instagram, the couple appeared to spend the day fishing together. One clip shows Marjorie standing on the grass near what looks to be a backyard pond, rocking Chanel rain boots, black pants, a black jacket, a black baseball cap, and a camo crossbody bag while holding up a large catfish attached to a fishing hook. As she proudly shows off the catch, Steve—who is behind the camera—coaches her through the moment, telling her to “turn it around” and “put it on the scale.”

The Harveys Had A Reel Good Time

From the sound of it, Steve seemed right at home with the fishing instructions, while Marjorie looked like she was just enjoying the ride. In a second clip, Marjorie appeared even more excited as she held up the catfish after it had been weighed, flashing a huge smile for the camera. As the fish continued flopping around in her hands, Steve could be heard proudly announcing from behind the camera, “Five-pound catfish,” making sure everybody knew the catch was official.

Fans Were Ready For The Fish Fry

Fans wasted no time flooding The Shade Room’s Instagram comment section after the fishing clips made their rounds online. Some joked that Marjorie ate with her outfit before anyone got a chance to eat the fish, while others praised Steve for being so patient as he coached her through the moment. Meanwhile, plenty of folks were already asking when dinner was and if they could get a plate of that five-pound catfish.

The former couple is picking up the pieces of their lives after parting ways last September, with the musician insisting he is still the same man while his ex spends quality time with a rumored love interest.

Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman have reportedly been engaging in a silent battle of who would be the first to move on romantically, and it may seem the latter is in a huge lead.

The country singer’s separation from Kidman was bombarded with speculations of him hooking up with several other women, ranging from his guitarist, Maggie Baugh, and Karley Scott Collins, the opener on his 2025 High and Alive tour. However, sources close to the singer confirmed that the dating rumors are false, same as reports that he backslid on his sobriety.

“He’s not dating anyone. He’s still sober. He didn’t mess up his sobriety. He’s about to hit 20 years this year. He did not fall off the wagon,” the insider explained. It is no secret that the songwriter struggled with substance abuse in the past and has publicly credited his ex with setting him straight.

Now, Urban stands in line to receive a $11 million payout from Kidman’s treasury due to a clause in their prenuptial agreement which promised a $600,000 payment for every year he remained sober during the marriage.

Aside from the huge payment waiting for the performer, he also realized prior to his divorce that he wanted a much simpler life centered around a house in Nashville and a house on the beach.

The source revealed to The Daily Mail that he reportedly got a huge realization about his marriage to Kidman after he was asked about seeing Kidman in his life in 10 years, and he could not respond affirmatively.

As for her romance with millionaire private equity businessman Michael Reinstein, whom she was spotted spending time with in Italy a few days ago, things have gotten to the next level with family involved. A source confirmed that the actress already introduced their daughters to the millionaire, and they all got together for lunch.

Jennifer Grey’s entire family came together ahead of her mother Jo Wilder’s death.

“The day before [my mom died], my dad and my daughter [Stella] and I came to her room and we were going through photographs,” Jennifer, 66, recalled on the Friday, August 7, episode of the “Waking Up With Ryan” podcast. “[There were] all of these family photographs that we had never seen or some of us had [not] seen since the ‘60s or whatever, and it was a treasure trove of … chapter upon chapter of life … of us being a tight, good family and them being really good parents.”

Wilder was married to Joel, 94, from 1958 to 1982, during which they welcomed the Dirty Dancing actress and son James Katz. Nearly two decades after their divorce, Wilder died last month just one week after being diagnosed with lung cancer. She was 94.

A County of Los Angeles department of public health death certificate obtained exclusively by Us on July 14 noted that Wilder was cremated on July 10 and was scattered at sea. The funeral establishment that handled her burial was Lifesource.

It was like we were looking at a physical kind of catalog of our life with her and her life before us, and her childhood and all of that,” Jennifer noted on Friday of her final moments with Wilder. “It was very moving because the story we started to tell ourselves about what our childhood was, what their marriage was, in retrospect, how we rewrite the whole thing and in this, kind of, jaded way like, ‘Oh, now I see what the truth really was,’ and then you go, ‘No, this happened, this was real, this was love, and my parents loved each other.’”

In revisiting her parents’ memories, Jennifer realized that Wilder and Joel’s marriage was “really good” for 24 years before they went their separate ways.

“It made me so sad because the truth was they were really good for twenty four years, and then you have an awakening when you realize this isn’t what I want to continue doing,” Jennifer said. “It doesn’t negate what happened and how real it was.”

Jennifer and her 24-year-old daughter, whom she shares with ex-husband Clark Gregg, sat by Wilder’s bedside as Joel also shared a touching message to his former spouse.

“He said, ‘The day you said ‘I do,’ was the first time I felt whole in my entire life, and I couldn’t believe how lucky that I was getting to marry this most incredible, beautiful woman,’” Jennifer recalled on Friday’s podcast episode. “We were all just crying our heads off, and it was just pure love of him remembering that moment, and it was like it was happening. It wasn’t like someone talking about something in the past, it felt like I was there.”

Jennifer also heard Joel make a simple yet “off-the-cuff” remark about their divorce, adding, “We went through … some bumps.”

“[My mom replied], ‘All is forgiven,’” Jennifer said. “I feel so much closer to her since then because what I was witnessing [in her illness] was hell, and all of a sudden, I’m going through all the things in her apartment and I’m seeing her life, [which] was so major and so beautiful and so fun, and so many chapters I didn’t know. All of a sudden, she feels like a whole person, and what that was just a blip.”

Young and the Restless presents some exciting new spoilers for next week. We have got Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) bailing on rehab, back on drugs, and it looks like he is about to hook up with some rando while he is high and on the run, hiding from the Newman family. Plus, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) goes too far when she gets really, really close to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) next week.

Young and the Restless: Victoria In a Panic

We’ll get to Nick’s druggy new hookup in just a moment, but first, let’s talk about his sister, Victoria. At the end of this week, she is at the GCAC talking to Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) about Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) leaving for a romantic trip to Italy. And Claire’s joking about it being their 200th honeymoon, which is semi accurate.

And Victoria notices that Claire seems distracted, but in a good way, that she’s like glowing and swooning. And she tells her mom that things are moving forward with Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) and that Claire’s really happy, but she’s not ready to bring Holden around to meet her younger siblings when Victoria suggests it. Claire’s joking that she doesn’t want to torture Holden like that. Victoria is glad to hear Holden’s embracing the Winter’s family.

And then Victoria gets a call that Nick bailed on rehab after Victor and Nikki’s vow renewal ceremony. Nick didn’t go back. So, next week, Victoria is really upset about Nick going missing and nobody can find him. And that’s when Victoria runs into Kyle at Crimson Lights. Young and the Restless spoilers say she’s really upset and we’ve got Victoria crying on Kyle’s shoulder. And then when Victoria kind of pulls away a little bit, things get intense. They are looking like they’re just about to kiss.

Victoria and Kyle’s Moment on Y&R

Fans have been wondering for a while why Kyle kept getting tossed into scenes with Victoria. And I’ve seen people wondering if Y&R was planning to pair them, which of course seems icky because Kyle’s last girlfriend was Victoria’s daughter, Claire. But it looks like they are going there. Kyle and Victoria’s faces are so very close.

Looks like they’re about to kiss, so we may get a lip lock. I do wonder how Claire will react to her mom Victoria making out with her ex, Kyle. It seems dodgy, but you know, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) married Nick and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and their dad Victor, so it’s not unprecedented.

Now, let’s flip back to Nick and his crisis as his sobriety fails. So, Victoria gets the alert that Nick’s not where he should be, and Adam is actually the last one to have a face to face with his brother because Nick shows up to the ranch house and he seems off and Adam is concerned but supportive. There’s several red flags. Nick’s ignoring calls from the family.

Then he goes looking for Adam because Nick wants to ask Adam to keep an eye on Christian who right now just in terms of when he was born should be eleven. But Nick told Adam to watch him while I’m away because Christian is a teenager with a car. They aged that kid up off-screen, but we haven’t seen Christian in years.

Young and Restless: Nick Spirals

So, Adam was worried, but Nick’s impatient and tells Adam calm down. And then he lies and says his phone was off. He wasn’t really dodging calls and says he spent the night with Christian after the vow renewal ceremony. And Nick is twitchy and kind of annoyed that the rehab center called Adam and reported him for not returning.

So, Adam advises Nick to go back to rehab, get back in treatment as soon as possible. And then Nick claims that he wanted to spend that time with Christian because he found out rehab is going to last longer than expected. And Nick is also worried about Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) being on the ranch.

So, he wants to make sure that Adam doesn’t let Christian anywhere around him. And Adam reassures Nick that won’t happen because Matt left the ranch and is living with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). And that just amps up Nick even more.

He is really angry that Matt is loose and Adam wants to know if Nick is really going back to rehab. And he assures Adam, yes, he’s going. And then Adam is telling Nick how proud he is of him. But once Nick walks out on that conversation, we’re going to see him looking really distraught on Friday’s episode. And of course, Adam’s worrying.

Nick’s Relapse on Y&R

And then Nick goes out to his car, immediately calls his dealer, and then meets the guy to get a delivery of a little baggie of pills. And of course, Nick immediately starts taking them, he even starts with two instead of one. And then we have Adam telling Victoria and Sharon that Nick was just there, but he left.

And Sharon’s upset that Adam let Nick leave. But Adam says Nick didn’t seem high and that he promised him he was going back to rehab. But then Sharon reminds Adam that addicts lie all the time. Sharon says it’s what they do. Adam also admits Nick was upset to hear Matt moved off the ranch and is running free.

And Sharon asked Victoria and Adam if they can track Nick’s car. Adam thinks that Sharon is overreacting. And then she’s surprised that Nick asked Adam to look after Christian and that’s part of why Sharon thinks something’s really off.

Nick Meets Someone New on Young and the Restless

So, Victoria calls the rehab center again on Friday and they tell her no, Nick has not come back. So, at that point, Sharon, Adam, and Victoria all want to find out where he’s gone. And then next week in Young and the Restless spoilers, we know that Nick hits a new low. He’s back on opioids. He’s hiding from his family and he’s up to no good.

So, on Monday, he’s going to meet this new chick. We’re going to see Nick in that dingy motel room they always use for bad things. And he’s with new character Marie Kirkland, who is played by soap veteran Jade Harlow. And we’ve got Nick telling Marie that he came there to be alone, but she’s telling Nick to just relax. And Marie says, “Who knows? We could have the time of our lives.”

So, we know that Nick’s new friend, Marie, is going to be a recurring character, and she’s got some sort of sad backstory, and she’s in Genoa City looking for a fresh start. But what is happening with Marie and Nick doesn’t look like a fresh start. It looks like a recipe for disaster.

And if Marie’s another drug abuser, then obviously she’ll be a terrible influence on Nick. Who doesn’t need that? So, we’ve known for a while that he was going to relapse, and now here it is happening. So, if Marie is some sort of party girl, she and Nick might hole up in that ratty hotel and just get high together because he can afford an endless supply of pills.

Young and the Restless: Devon Shares Huge News

And also next week, this is a fun nice spoiler. We’re going to see Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) in a good mood for a change. He is over at Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) place and is telling her and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and his wife Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) that he’s got something to tell them that will change their lives.

So, I can’t wait to see what that’s about. The only thing that’s kind of springing up in my mind is back to that Beyond the Gates crossover because they’ve been talking on the other soap about Devon working with a music group about cutting a new album that was going to use some of their backing tracks. Whatever news it is, I’m just honestly happy to see Devon not being a total sour puss for a change.

So, Young and the Restless looks absolutely action-packed next week, especially with Nick hooking up with what looks like another druggie and Victoria going too far with her daughter’s ex, Kyle.
