Justin Bieber and Usher‘s alleged clash at an Oscars party was not an isolated incident, but rather the breaking point in a longer-running rift between the two, according to insiders.

Usher is said to have confronted his former protégé at the event, with some claims suggesting the situation may have briefly turned physical.

Neither Usher nor Justin Bieber has confirmed that the altercation took place, but insiders allege that their ties to disgraced rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs are at the center of the tension.

In the wake of Justin Bieber and Usher’s alleged altercation at an Oscars after-party, insiders have revealed more about what led to the incident.

One source, speaking to Rob Shuter’s #ShuterScoop, claimed the clash had been a long time coming, as the two have reportedly been feuding privately for years.

“This didn’t start that night. It’s been simmering for a long time,” the source shared. “Justin feels like he’s finally seeing things clearly, and he does not like what he sees.”

Earlier reports linked the alleged altercation to Sean “Diddy” Combs, who mentored Usher and had access to Bieber during his early years in the industry while he was under Usher’s label.

The insider backed this claim, saying Bieber once trusted Usher to protect him but now feels his mentor let him down.

“Usher brought him into that world when he was just a kid,” the source pointed out. “Justin trusted him to look out for him, and now he feels like that did not happen.”

“He is not interested in going backward. He is closing that chapter for good,” the insider also noted.

Over the last year, videos of Bieber and Diddy have resurfaced, sparking conversation about whether the former teen sensation was molested by the Bad Boy Records founder.

One video in particular allegedly shows the two spending 48 hours together, although they were cryptic about what they intended to do.

“Where we hanging out and what we’re doing we can’t really disclose. But it’s definitely a 15-year-old’s dream,” Diddy could be seen saying in the video, per People Magazine.

“For the next 48 hours, he’s with me. And we’re gonna go full. Buck full crazy,” Combs also remarked in the footage.

Despite the video hinting at more, Bieber, through a representative, has since denied being assaulted by Diddy.

“Although Justin is not among Sean Combs’ victims, there are individuals who were genuinely harmed by him,” read the statement that emerged in March 2025. “Shifting focus away from this reality detracts from the justice these victims rightfully deserve.”

Despite the denials, Bieber’s behavior in the months following Diddy’s sexual offense charges has hinted at underlying issues.

Earlier this month, he was seen displaying erratic behavior on a private jet with a friend, including appearing with glazed eyes and rapping oddly into a camera, according to a report.

At the time, a well-placed source described the singer’s behavior as concerning for someone of his age.

“He is 30 years old now; he’s an adult and should be taking better care of himself. He knows everyone scrutinizes him,” the insider shared.

Another source claimed that Bieber has been acting like a “rebellious teenager,” which has left his loved ones frustrated.

“He has to get his sh-t together and return to the inspirational figure he was before,” the insider continued. “He needs to be on his A-game.”

Science fiction is the genre of ideas, a cinematic playground where filmmakers are able to freely explore humanity’s relationships with technology, the cosmos, and our own evolution and future. It’s the most imaginative genre but the most complex to play with, and if one thing feels off, the entire story can be ruined.

So, building a Mount Rushmore for sci-fi means identifying the films that didn’t just succeed as science fiction features but fundamentally reshaped the genre and influenced everything that followed. It means finding movies that weren’t afraid to drop and adopt genre conventions all at once, to play around with storytelling, concepts, and ideas. If you ask anyone remotely interested in sci-fi, they’ll likely tell you this is the Mount Rushmore of sci-fi movies.

‘2001: A Space Odyssey’ (1968)

Stanley Kubrick was a multifaceted director, and his interests grew beyond the conventions of any kind of genre. While nowadays, directors are confined to existing within a certain space, trope, or convention, the industry allowed Kubrick to spread his wings and tackle diverse ideas, from the 1950s until the 1990s. Every genre is marked by a Kubrick film, and when we talk about the greats of each, his films are bound to come up. 2001: A Space Odyssey is his contribution to the sci-fi genre, and many call it the greatest film ever made—many directors have deemed it so for years, in particular in the Sights and Sounds director polls over the years.

2001: A Space Odyssey traces human evolution from primordial apes discovering tools to astronaut David Bowman’s (Keir Dullea) transcendent journey beyond the known universe, guided by mysterious monolithic slabs. Bowman is notably “accompanied” by the HAL 9000 computer on the spaceship—a calm voice that’s meant to be a guide for the astronauts but turns out more ominous, representing technology turning against its creators. Kubrick adapted the story together with sci-fi writer Arthur C. Clarke, whose short stories The Sentinel and Encounter in the Dawn served as inspiration for the film; there are discrepancies between the film and prose, which is typical for Kubrick, but it appears that the adaptation feels more inspired by the source material, allowing Kubrick to explore technology, artificial intelligence, evolution, existentialism, and mysticism all at once.

This sci-fi epic completely reshaped how the public saw science fiction, though it took them a while to warm up to it; Dullea noted that people left the premiere early, baffled and wondering what they were supposed to be watching. 2001 revolutionized the depiction of space on film, with special effects that took eighteen months and $6.5 million to achieve, creating what Kubrick insisted must be completely convincing. Paired with pre-composed classical pieces, including music by the likes of Johann Strauss II and Aram Khachaturian, 2001: A Space Odyssey put sci-fi on the map as a genre that can and should have as much visual appeal as substance and meaning.

‘Star Wars’ (1977)

When we discuss the modern blockbuster, we always divert our attention to Jaws, Steven Spielberg‘s first-ever summer blockbuster thriller that showed why theatrical experiences are vital for the industry. Some filmmakers make their movies specifically for the big, silver screens, but before, they had no choice—the silver screens were all they had, and anyone who wanted to make a mark with their storytelling had to have ideas that would fill every corner of the projection screen. After Jaws, it was anyone’s game, and young and imaginative George Lucas adapted Hamlet into a space opera, inspired by Akira Kurosawa, Toshirō Mifune, and the Dune novels, creating Star Wars—later, and today, known as Episode IV—A New Hope. With it truly came a new hope for bolder, visionary, beautiful storytelling.

George Lucas’s space opera follows young farm boy Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) as he joins the Rebel Alliance to take down the oppressive Empire and its dark enforcer, Darth Vader (voiced by James Earl Jones). On the other side, we have Leia Organa (Carrie Fisher), princess of the planet Alderaan, who rejects her aristocratic family tree to fight for what’s right, joining the Rebels and finding a kindred spirit in Luke (no, not like that). The film created a universe that still feels lived-in, ancient, and mythic, delivering a sci-fi fairy tale that is about family, redemption, heroes, villains, destiny, and bravery.

Sure, we could go on and on about the production value and Star Wars‘ visual language, from the Art Deco designs to the desert landscapes of Tatooine, but the biggest impact of Star Wars isn’t just its epic scale and beautiful look. The movie, and soon the franchise, gave people fandom as a culture, providing them a way to express themselves and become a part of that world, even for a day. Star Wars also made room for women as heroes and explored darker themes of oppressive governments, war trauma, and even capitalism. Before Star Wars, science fiction at the movies mostly meant monsters or aliens; after it, the genre became a dominant force in global entertainment.

‘Alien’ (1979)

Staying within the 1970s for some of the greatest sci-fi masterpieces ever made isn’t a coincidence; Star Wars, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, The Andromeda Strain, Solaris, and Invasion of the Body Snatchers are all products of the decade, which seems to truly be the defining one for science fiction. The end of that decade was marked with a high, because Ridley Scott made Alien, the definitive sci-fi horror/thriller that changed how we observe extraterrestrial life. Compared to Close Encounters, Alien is much less hopeful about the encounters of the third kind, which is direct contact with alien life.

Alien follows the crew of the commercial towing spacecraft Nostromo as they investigate a distress signal on a desolate moon. They encounter a nightmarish alien organism that implants itself in a crew member and bursts out of their chest, then begins picking them off one by one inside the ship’s claustrophobic interior. Alien is a true hybrid of genres and ideas, blending science fiction with Gothic horror and creating something visually and thematically interesting and, ultimately, new. H.R. Giger designed the creatures, from the face-huggers to the Xenomorph queen mother, introducing a new visual synonym for terror; the face of such terror is a perfect organism whose biological and mechanical elements remain disturbing decades later.

When Alien came about, Scott was mostly a filmmaker known for adverts, while Sigourney Weaver was a fairly unknown actor. Yet, Weaver’s character, Ellen Ripley, very soon became one of cinema’s greatest heroes, a woman whose intelligence and survival instincts made her a feminist icon in a genre that had rarely revolved around female protagonists. Academic analysis of the film spans cognitive narrative theory, interdisciplinary studies, Gothic studies, and psychology, showing how Alien operates on levels far beyond simple scares. Besides just feminist themes within Ripley and the Xenomorph queen herself, there’s a very timely theme of artificial intelligence, technology, and trust that remains resonant, something similar to what Kubrick tried to achieve in 2001: A Space Odyssey. Alien spawned a vast franchise, showing the intellectually complex, visually stunning, and viscerally terrifying nature of science fiction.

‘Interstellar’ (2014)

Leaving the 20th century and entering the 21st, we usher in a new era of science fiction, with improved CGI techniques and technology, but ultimately the same old methods with which we observe poignant storytelling. Christopher Nolan‘s Interstellar weaves together space exploration, theoretical physics, and crushing familial bonds, making a modern sci-fi epic that is intellectually and emotionally ambitious. Nolan himself feels like an ambitious filmmaker, often treading where no one seems to actively look (rather than where everyone is afraid to); his masterpiece is often in dialogue with Kubrick’s 2001, from visual sequences to the meditative pace and questions about humanity’s place in the cosmos. Yet Interstellar charts its own territory, arguing that love itself might be a force as fundamental as gravity and that human connection can transcend dimensions, something that feels like Kubrick never truly considered when placing his astronaut in a lonely vastness.

Interstellar follows Cooper (Matthew McConaughey), a widowed father and former NASA pilot, who leads a mission through a wormhole to find a new habitable planet for humanity as Earth suffers from environmental collapse. The film depicts Cooper’s struggle but also how Cooper and his daughter Murphy (Mackenzie Foy/Jessica Chastain), whose lives unfold at different rates due to time dilation, follow each other’s paths and attempt to find each other amid Cooper’s once-in-a-lifetime space mission.

With theoretical physicist Kip Thorne as executive producer and screenwriter Jonathan Nolan (Christopher’s brother) enrolling in relativity studies, the film is fully based on scientific theory about wormholes, black holes, and time dilation. The scene where Cooper watches decades of his children’s lives pass in minutes after receiving messages from Earth is a devastating depiction of parental sacrifice but also one of the most accurate and, admittedly, chilling ways to show viewers the vast possibilities of the cosmos. While Interstellar encapsulates the human fight against extinction, it also honors its predecessors in sci-fi. As it reaches toward something new, bold, and genuine, it tells us, “Do not go gentle into that good night,” making sci-fi a genre that can be a strong plea to humanity.

On March 5^th, 2026, Disney reached a tentative settlement with the courts and regulators on its anti-trust actions.

Replacing Cable By Becoming Cable

After acquiring Hulu and ESPN, Disney began to enforce strict policy terms. Companies like YouTube TV and DIRECTV stream were required to offer more expensive packages for ESPN if they wanted other Disney products, forcing up the cost of streaming services. Leveraging the sports network’s popularity, the Magic Kingdom refused to offer lower-cost packages that didn’t include ESPN, so anyone who wanted Disney content was forced to buy the more expensive sports package. The class action lawsuit, which was filed initially back in 2023, has finally concluded in a settlement in which Disney avoided further litigation by settling rather than admitting fault.

The $50-million-dollar settlement will affect anywhere between 11 and 17 million people. With the higher price floor and contract terms, those companies had to pass the cost on to their customers. Disney has also agreed to immediate relief by giving companies the option to offer fewer or even no Disney-owned networks, like ESPN, in the packages that previously had them.

As more streaming services come up and more silos are created, content becomes even harder for people to reach. The streaming giants that once started to counter the stranglehold that traditional cable companies operated have now taken their place. The public is burdened with higher costs, too many options, and limited content over who has what and for how long. In the future hopefully, this lawsuit will demonstrate to those entertainment giants that they will be held accountable for their actions.

What the next phase in entertainment will be is still being decided. Will people ditch streaming like they ditched the dish, the box, and the cord? If more anti-trust suits like this one turn up while streaming services gobble up every bit of content they can, it may be inevitable.

 Though the internet is calling out Tommie Lee for her MILF energy with Solange’s son, she appears unfazed.  A few hours after midnight on Monday, she took to Instagram Stories to clear the air.

In Live Bitez’s comment section, folks popped off over Tommie’s response to the internet calling her out. On Monday (March 23), a civil jury in California found Bill Cosby liable for drugging and sexually assaulting a woman in 1972. Ultimately, the jury awarded Donna Motsinger $59.25 million.

Woman Speaks After Lawsuit Win Against Bill Cosby

Jurors found Bill Cosby liable for the sexual battery and assault of Donna Motsinger after a nearly two-week trial. Deliberations lasted about two days. They awarded her $17.5 million in past damages and $1.75 million for future damages, including “mental suffering, loss of enjoyment of life, inconvenience, grief, anxiety, humiliation, and emotional distress.”

Then, in a second phase of the trial on Monday afternoon, they awarded an additional $40 million in punitive damages.

“This verdict is not just about me – it’s about finally being heard and holding Mr. Cosby accountable,” Motsinger said in a statement. “I have carried the weight of what happened to me for more than 50 years. It never goes away. Today, a jury saw the truth and held him accountable. That means everything. I hope this gives strength to other survivors who are still waiting for their moment to be heard.”

Bill Cosby has settled some similar lawsuits and has been ordered to pay in others. However, Monday’s award is likely the most he has had to pay in a case. In 2022, a jury in Santa Monica awarded $500,000 to a woman who said Cosby sexually assaulted her at the Playboy Mansion when she was a teenager in 1975.

Details About Donna Motsinger’s Allegations & Lawsuit

Donna Motsinger’s lawsuit echoed allegations of rape, sexual assault and sexual harassment made by at least 60 women against Bill Cosby. He has denied all of the allegations. The jury decision on Motsinger’s lawsuit came nearly five years after Cosby was freed from prison in Pennsylvania.

Donna Motsinger had been a server at a restaurant in Sausalito near San Francisco in the 1970s. She said in her lawsuit, filed in 2023, that Bill Cosby had invited her to his stand-up comedy show at a theater in nearby San Carlos. Both were in their 30s at the time. She said Cosby gave her wine and two pills that she believed were aspirin, and that she was going in and out of consciousness as two men put her in a limousine.

“She woke up in her house with all her clothes off, except her underwear on – no top, no bra, and no pants,” the lawsuit said. “She knew she had been drugged and raped by Bill Cosby.”

Motsinger’s lawsuit moved through the California courts with surprising speed. It took just 2 1/2 years from filing until verdict, while other lawsuits against him stalled.

“We are grateful to the jury for their careful attention to the evidence and to Ms. Motsinger for the extraordinary courage it took to come forward,” said Jesse Creed, one of her attorneys from the Panish Shea Ravipudi law firm that represented her.

Cosby’s Lawyer Speaks Out

In court filings, Bill Cosby’s lawyers argued that Donna Motsinger’s allegations rested almost entirely on speculation and assumption. They said Motsinger “freely admits that she has no idea what happened.” 

Cosby did not testify at the trial. Witnesses included Andrea Constand, a Temple University sports administrator. In 2018, a Pennsylvania criminal court convicted Cosby of assaulting Andrea. However, the state’s Supreme Court threw out the verdict in 2021. In turn, Cosby was freed from prison after serving nearly three years of a three- to 10-year sentence.

After the initial award earlier Monday, Attorney Jennifer Bonjean said in an email that they are disappointed, per the Associated Press. Also, they fully intend to appeal the verdict. Bonjean did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the punitive damages.

Cosby was once widely known as “America’s Dad.” Then he became the first celebrity to be tried and convicted in the #MeToo era. His conviction was permanently overturned when the appeals court found that he gave incriminating testimony in a deposition only after believing he had immunity from prosecution.

90 Day Fiance: Laura’s Move on Michal Revealed

It’s super awkward when Laura Nevenner finds herself in the middle of the two most important men in her life on 90 Day Fiancé. In spite of some red flags including debt and gambling, she’s not giving up on her Turkish boy toy Birkan just yet. But her BFF and pickle ball partner Michal has trekked to Turkey to investigate. She can’t hide her happiness when Michal brings gifts. And perhaps is enjoying a little of the tension between the guys.

Birkan is rude and mocks Michal. But later softens and tells Laura Nevenner he will give him a chance. The trio explore the city and end up at a shisha bar of course. Birkan apologizes and asks some questions of Michal. He, in turn asks about the debt and the gambling. And Laura looks on nervously. Birkan explains that the debt came about due to losing his three cafes during Covid. Michal listens and doesn’t judge. But admits later that gambling is not a viable income.

On 90 Day Fiancé, Michal quizzes Birkan on how he will fit in to Laura Nevenner’s active lifestyle including early mornings in the gym. Birkan wants to know why they never fell in love in spite of spending so much time together. Neither can really answer. But later Birkan takes Michal out for some pool playing and guy talk. Michal stuns him when he reveals that Laura Nevenner was the one who made an unmistakable move on him not the other way around. And Birkan feels beyond betrayed.

90 Day Fiance: Emma Gets Stood Up

Emma Perry moved on to a back up plan after Ziad El Yahyaoui left her high and dry in the desert on 90 Day Fiancé. She simply rented her own riad and wasted no time tapping out a well manicured text to her first Moroccan fling and ex fiancé Mohamed. He agreed to see her. Even suggesting she come to Casablanca. In spite of her friend warning her that Morocco might not be the place for her, she flicks her wig and says yes. Emma secures a ride and Ziad is now a distant desert mirage.

Emma sashays into the cafe and gets a table for 2. She texts Mohamed and waits. But he’s not responding. She calls and gets no answer. But she can see he’s active online. She kills time sipping a cappuccino and Mohamed does respond. To tell her he doesn’t wish to see her or hear from her because he has a fiancé. Emma is indignant. She heads to the beach and tosses her engagement ring out to sea. But next week’s previews reveal she’s still got business to take care of in Morocco.

Before The 90 Days: Stig Says I Love You

90 Day Fiance couple Aviva Duhamel and Stig Da Artist have been under scrutiny. Aviva’s aunt Spring came to town to cast doubt on Stig’s fidelity. Going as far to gather screenshots and texts from a friend of her niece. Aviva ended up believing Stig wasn’t guilty. And now the couple head to a resort for some alone time. First up a cooking class that gets them feeling turned on after rolling out corn for tortillas.

Stig finally tells Aviva what she’s been wanting to hear. That he loves her. She’s thrilled but also hungry. And Stig wonders if it’s pregnancy cravings since they didn’t bother with protection when she first arrived. Stig says he would be happy and suggests a test. Aviva agrees to take a test. And admits she would be fine with a pregnancy and they’d “figure it out”. But later Stig admits if she isn’t pregnant he’d be relieved.

90 Day Fiance: Elise Has Her Doubts About Josh

Elise Benson wakes up alone on 90 Day Fiance. And spirals when she thinks Josh Lawson left her alone to go hang out with his roommate and gal pal Nat. She believes that Nat supports him financially. And that Josh has an emotional connection with Nat. She sobs to producers and he returns only to quickly dip when he sees her crying. She confronts him and he says he thought she needed a minute. Josh says he was out getting leads for work. And did not see Nat.

He suggests a day at the beach to wash away their troubles. Elise Benson is game and they do a surfing lesson. She wipes out a lot and they hit the town for takeout sandwiches. On a windy beach they scarf down some chicken sandwiches. Josh opens up that after his son moved away he went a little wild with going out. Elise reveals her concerns. That his job is up in the air and he lied about his living arrangements. He gets annoyed with her poking at him.

The Before The 90 Days couple sleep apart. In the morning Josh Lawson heads out for a workout with his buddy Chris. Elise spills her fears to her parents over FaceTime. Her dad thinks she’s jumping to conclusions too fast. And advises her to slow her roll. But Elise admits that past insecurities haunt her. And the trauma of losing the love of her life at a young age. Josh admits her insecurities could be a dealbreaker for him.

TLC Couple Daniel and Lisa Beg Uncle for Another Chance

Lisa has finally spilled all of her secrets to Daniel Tito Herrera. Like a clown car they just kept coming. But she swears it’s all out in the open on 90 Day Fiance. Daniel is upset, but wants to stay with Lisa. He sets up a meeting with his uncle Modesto. Who gave a blessing before but doesn’t know everything. Needless to say, uncle doesn’t take it well. Especially the fact that Lisa has been in same sex relationships for two decades. And is still married.

Lisa hyperventilates and sobs and he calls out her crocodile tears. As well as calling her an abomination and suggests she’ll go back to her “vomit”. Daniel Tito Herrera begs uncle Modesto to please help them. And he says he will try since he has a “kind heart”. Although you wouldn’t know it from this scene. To make matters worse they have to appear in front of some other elders and there’s a crying baby goat involved whose fate we can only guess. Till next time!

General Hospital has a super juicy new leak for you about a new romantic pairing that is rumored to kick off soon between, get this, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). These two getting together would be such a huge twist.

But there are reasons that this duo might actually happen and could actually work. We’re going to talk about the possibility that Dante and Britt may spark a romance while Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is out of the picture for a while.

New General Hospital Leak: Dante and Britt May Become a Couple

So, this leak is from our source who’s pretty reliable. I mean, they’re not 100% all the time because it’s a leak, but that’s why I always make it clear, not a confirmed spoiler, a leak/rumor from a behind-the-scenes source with connections at General Hospital.

So, they were right when they leaked recently before Jason’s disappearance that’s about to happen that he would be up on a roof and that something was going to go down with Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and Jason up at the school.

They’ve leaked a bunch of stuff and before all that happened, you know, we leaked it and then it did happen. So, maybe this new leak is just as accurate even though it sounds wild. So, our source says we could get a new romance between Britt and Dante, which you know, it sounds insane, right? But hear me out.

General Hospital: The New Britt

I know it may seem impossible, but first of all, Britt has really changed. She’s not the Britt that she once was. Over the two years when Kelly Thiebaud was off GH and Britt was presumed dead in that absence, you know, she seemed to do a lot of changing, growing.

Of course when we first saw her at the Five Poppies, she was dealing with Pascal. And sure, she was a little spicy, but that was because of all of the pressure from Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Pascal.

I think that Britt softened even more after she finally told Jason everything and agreed to let him help her. And of course, Britt’s always been very kind to Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) because she loves him like he is her own son. I mean, she stole the embryo and gave birth to him. So, Britt adores him.

Britt Has Changed and Made Amends on GH

Plus, she made a truce with Lucas Jones (Van Hansis), who couldn’t stand Britt before, and they’re actually friends now. Lucas is even helping Britt find a way out of this whole mess. And it’s because of Lucas that Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) got Britt’s meds for her so she could get away from Cullum and Sidwell and Pascal. But it might cost Marco his life.

Britt’s also getting along much better with Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst), who I think sees a big change in Britt. And I also think Jason may open up to Dante and tell him Britt is in trouble through no fault of her own. Jason may even ask Dante to protect Britt while he’s gone. So, the events of today could be why Jason exits Port Charles for a while.

Already this week, we had Cullum ready to kill Britt after, you know, he got stabby with Marco and then Jason intervened, but Cullum, a pencil pusher, somehow managed to get the best of Stone Cold and was going to beat him to death. But then Rocco shot Cullum.

And I think there’s a good chance that Jason is going to confess to shooting Cullum or allow the police to think he did it to save Rocco because the kid saved Jason and Britt’s lives since Cullum would have killed Jason and then gone to finish off Britt.

That means that the WSB may arrest Jason because they already had a warrant out for him. And we could see him sent to Steinmauer for killing the WSB chief if Jason really does take the blame to protect Rocco.

Jason May Take the Fall to Protect Rocco on General Hospital

And it seems like Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) might be in on this cover up, too. We’ll find out if he fibs for Jason primarily to protect Rocco because that’s his girlfriend Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) son. And at some point, Britt may also tell Dante some more about this.

Britt may tell him that Cullum was threatening Rocco if she didn’t finish Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) cold fusion prototype on schedule. And of course, Britt didn’t want anything to happen to Rocco. She would rather die than see Dante’s son hurt.

And even if Cullum is dead, which seems likely, there’s still a risk because Sidwell and Pascal are still active and could try and leverage a Rocco threat to get what they want from Britt. I know a lot of fans won’t call him dead. They say he’s one of the worst, most horrible characters there’s ever been. So, we’ll see.

But Dante may agree to keep an eye on Britt for Jason, you know, after Dante gets over Jason headbutting him. And that along with some other factors could kickstart a Dante and Britt romance, especially if it looks like Jason may be facing life in Steinmauer. You can’t kill the head of an alphabet agency and walk away from it, even if it’s a false confession.

Dante May See Britt in a New Light

So, all this could have Dante seeing another side to Britt. I expect if Dante finds out the lengths that Britt went to trying to protect his son Rocco, it could be a gamechanger. And we could have Dante spending time with Britt while protecting her. And Rocco may tell Dante other good things about Britt.

So, Dante may decide that they’re just going to let the past be bygones and try and get to know the new and improved Britt. And I mean considering that her parents are Cesar Faison and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), she’s practically a saint to rise above all of that scary DNA and bad parental influence.

So, Dante may see that Britt is trying to be a good person now, genuinely trying to do the right thing these days. She’s not the same person she used to be. Not at all. We could see Dante and Britt form a friendship based on mutual interest, primarily Rocco.

And that friendship could pivot into an attraction between her and Dante. And sparks could fly for him and Britt, you know, eventually not going to be right away. But there’s more than just protecting Rocco that’s a factor.

The Lulu Factor

There’s the Lulu issue. She’s now seeing Nathan. And although he played it cool, I think Dante may be low-key bothered by it. It’s got to be weird that his ex-wife Lulu and best buddy Nathan are dating. You know, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) totally freaked out about it in a really big way. And Dante realistically could have done the same, but he didn’t.

But dating Britt would be kind of some subtle pay—not so subtle payback. I guess I don’t think Dante would do it for that reason, but it might be a side effect or a ripple effect that could be interesting because Lulu would freak out if Dante got with Britt.

We know Lulu probably will never get over Britt stealing her embryo. I wouldn’t. Was it my embryo? Probably most of you wouldn’t. However, if Lulu tries to give Dante any crap about Britt, he might tell her she has no right to object to him seeing whoever he wants, even if it is Britt.

Are Jason and Britt Done on General Hospital?

And there’s a chance Jason and Britt are done. Another leak we got a while back said that Steve Burton was not a fan of the Jason and Britt pairing and didn’t like where his storyline was going and that he reportedly talked to the powers that be while he was negotiating his two to three month break.

So, you know, Burton is off now. He’s supposed to be back in June, but he reportedly renewed his contract after they hashed some of this out. So, the writers may shift Britt over to be in a romance with Dante.

We’ll see how it goes down. But, I do think a Britt and Dante pairing could be a lot of fun, and it would definitely ruffle a lot of feathers, not only in Port Charles, but also among General Hospital fans.

But, do you know who would ship them? Who I think would really love this. It would be Rocco, but that would probably really upset Lulu because then it would feel like that Britt is really taking things from her, which is good and soapy stuff.
