Jelly Roll is once again facing online scrutiny, and this time, it’s an old clip that has people talking. As the country star continues to draw criticism following his faith-filled Grammy speech, a nearly two-minute video from around 2022 has resurfaced on X, reigniting debate over his public persona and temper. The clip shows the singer venting about a shoe store encounter, and threatening to hit a teen employee with what he called the “open hand of the Lord.” The resurfaced footage comes as critics question whether Jelly Roll’s faith-driven messaging matches his past behavior.

The viral post sharing the clip read, “Jelly Roll crashes out at shoe store and says he’s going to hit a teen with the ‘open hand of the Lord.’ Allegedly, Jelly Roll was just made they didn’t serve him instantly and came back to assault a young teen for the disrespect of not knowing ‘who he is.’”
In the video, Jelly Roll appears visibly upset while recounting the interaction. “I’m so f-cking mad right now,” the singer says in the clip, which reportedly dates back to around 2022, while sitting in his car. “I just went to Fleet Feet, a place I’ve bought dozens of pairs of shoes at, and I took my 71-year-old mother there.”

He continued, “I watched the store manager walk up to a young man working the desk and go, ‘Hey, would you help that sweet old lady over there.’ Young man goes (the singer shook his head no), and he points at a guy walking in the door, a younger man. I watched this young f-cking c-ck-sucking, cocky prick just kind of shrug her off. Manager has to, I’m losing my voice I’m so mad just screaming at everybody in the store, the manager is so f-cking, just walks back and grabs another dude.”
But he wasn’t done. “The whole time I’m sitting there thinking, I want to f-cking hit this young man with the open hand of the Lord,” Jelly Roll added. “And I just go through it, I smile because I don’t want my mama to see me mad neither, ya know?”

The singer wasn’t finished venting. After finishing in the store, Jelly Roll says he walked his mom outside before walking back into the store. “I crawled in that f-cking kid’s a-s,” Jelly Roll continued. “And then the manager has the audacity to f-cking tell me, ‘Sir, could y’all talk about this outside. I don’t want my customers hearing.’ And I said, ‘B-tch, you need to worry about the customers on the internet. You don’t need to worry about the three people in here buying a $180 pair of f-cking Hokas hearing it.”
He continued, “And one you wouldn’t have to worry about customers knowing what the f-ck is going on in this store if you taught some f-cking etiquette to your motherf-cking employees,” before adding that “God is with me.”

“I am blessed. I am thankful, and I am grateful, and I am full of gratitude because if I was not, I would march back into that store right now and it would look like a scene out of a motherf-cking movie,” he concluded.

The resurfaced video quickly drew backlash from some social media users. “And another fake Hollywood Christian takes the mask off … over some shoes …” one user wrote as another chimed in, “Sorry to inform you. This isn’t Christianity. This is cosplaying as Christianity. I don’t know why God has to enter your story. Pharisees of our time.”
The controversy comes as Jelly Roll continues to face scrutiny following his speech at the 2026 Grammy Awards.

At the ceremony, Jelly Roll won multiple awards, including Best Country Duo/Group Performance for Amen with Shaboozey and Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for Hard Fought Hallelujah with Brandon Lake.
During his acceptance speech, Jelly Roll held a small Bible and reflected on his past. “I remember there was a moment in my life, and all I had was a Bible this big and a radio the same size and a 6 by 8 foot cell,” he said. “And I believed that those two things could change my life. I believed that music had the power to change my life, and God had the power to change my life.”

The artist continued, “And I want to tell y’all right now, Jesus is for everybody. Jesus is not known by one political party; Jesus is not owned by any label. Jesus is Jesus, and anybody can have a relationship with him. I love you, lord.”

Reacting to his Grammy speech on X, one person wrote, “Of course, Jelly Roll wouldn’t get on stage and denounce ICE like several of his peers did UNAPOLOGETICALLY. He got on stage and did a fake sermon. And yes, he absolutely is MAGA. F-ck him and that MAGA festival he’s doing.”
Adding fuel to the fire, when asked on the red carpet about his stance on ICE, Jelly Roll replied, “People shouldn’t care to hear my opinion. I’m a dumb redneck.”
Jelly Roll has not yet commented on the resurfaced video making the rounds on social media.

In the last decade, we went from multiple raunch comedies hitting theaters every year to nearly zero. One of the last of the mainstream raunch comedy releases, 2014’s Sex Tape starring Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel, was a small hit, but its premise could only have supported a film in 2014 when the general public didn’t know what “the cloud” was or how it worked. A few years later, Apple’s iCloud became a common, everyday feature for users, who now understood that the entire plot of the film made no sense.

In Sex Tape, Diaz and Segel play a married couple, Anne and Jay Hargrove, trying to rediscover the spark that they once had when the kids are away for a night. With nothing else working, they let their intrusive thoughts win and decide to film a sex tape. The problem is that instead of deleting the next day, Segal’s hapless Jay realizes it’s been uploaded to the cloud and shared with the iPads he gave away for Christmas. And yes, they are not only called iPads, but they are constantly shown on screen in the oddest product placement you can imagine.
Jay and Annie head out to recover all of the iPads and delete the video before anyone can see the sex tape. This involves committing breaking and entering, battling a German shepherd, accidentally doing a rail of cocaine, and getting busted by their best friends, played by Ellie Kemper and Rob Corddry, a pairing that, in a just world, would have headlined their own rom-com by now. The thing is, in reality, videos aren’t sent to iPads through the Cloud unless you specifically set up a shared file, then download them on each and every iPad. The entire plot could be resolved with one five-second act of deleting a file.
Sex Tape relies entirely on the comedic chemistry of Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel, who reunite after knocking it out of the park with Bad Teacher. The physical comedy and one-liners are so few and far between that it’s one of those movies where you see everything in the trailer. Everyone involved has been in better, funnier films, but in the 12 years since Sex Tape’s release and the complete collapse of the rom-com industrial complex, it now looks like a masterpiece.

Bad Teacher set off the last gasp of rom-com relevance thanks to great reviews and a huge box office haul, while Sex Tape approached rock bottom with a 16 percent critical rating and a 33 percent audience rating. At the box office, it made three times its estimated budget with $120 million, but again, that doesn’t take into account the large marketing budget from attempting to turn the two leads into a Julia Roberts and Richard Gere for a new generation.
This decade, Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell had a little success with a rom-com, Jeniffer Lauirence crashed and burned in her attempt, while the time-loop rom-com Palm Springs, starring Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti, has been the most creative entry in the genre in decades. By comparison, Sex Tape hinges on a plot that’s both out of date and, given the Cloud’s common knowledge, makes zero sense. You can do better by watching Bad Teacher or Palm Springs again, then spending your time watching Sex Tape.
It took exactly a year for The Artful Dodger to receive its first renewal — so what are the chances Hulu would pick the show back up for season 3?
During the season 2 finale, which aired on Tuesday, February 10, Belle (Maia Mitchell) learned a shocking revelation about the governor (Damien Garvey) not being her biological father. Her mother, Jane (Susie Porter), shared the truth when she thought she was on her death bed but Belle’s love interest Jack (Thomas Brodie-Sangster) ultimately saved her life.
As a result, Jane finally gave Belle permission to be with Jack. Belle ran to find him but it appeared that Jack got on a boat and left. The final moments of the season confirmed that Jack couldn’t leave Belle — and the fan-favorite couple shared a kiss.
Elsewhere in the finale, Fagin (David Thewlis) had a plan to die so his troubles would disappear. Jack helped executive the plan but Fagin actually survived and woke up … buried underground.
“There’s a lot [more story] to tell,” Mitchell, 32, exclusively told Us Weekly about the future of the show. “It’s such a massive show with so many characters and so many plots happening all at once.”
The actress noted that there is “a lot of opportunity” for “way more character development” in the future, adding, “With Belle and Jack, it is seeing what domestic life could look like. I don’t know how they pull that off. I don’t see them ever being settled but seeing what that looks like and seeing them actualize their relationship.”
Mitchell didn’t stop there when it came to possible story lines.

“But also with the family. Belle learned this revelation about Lady Jane and we see the family in a much more kind of authentic closeness together,” she teased. “But I would love to see what that does for the family — and for Lady Jane. I’d love to see what Lady Jane is up to in season 3 as well.”
She continued: “Fagin is up to no good. And Belle’s sister, Fanny, her story line this season is the most delightful surprise. I really wasn’t across any of those scenes so watching the show back I was like, ‘Oh my God, that’s what they were up to every day that I was at home.’ Seeing where that goes with Fanny, she’s so empowered and so delightful. I would love to do that. I would love to do a third season and I know everyone feels that way.”
Acting as a sequel to Charles Dickens‘ novel Oliver Twist, The Artful Dodger is set in the 1850s and follows Jack Dawkins, who is a former Royal Navy surgeon trying to establish himself as a respected young doctor. In addition to his antics outside of work, Jack quickly develops a romance with the governor’s daughter Belle.
“It was a long painstaking wait to hear [about a season 2], so we are very happy to be back,” Mitchell noted to Us. “In terms of jumping back into character, the break was good. It’s always nerve-wracking going back. But it’s so easy with our sets and in our costumes, you just really do melt right into the world. But the break was good because I would have needed that circuit break to find a different tone in her, to do some different prep. Especially with the dialect coaches, I was vocally dropping her a little lower and there was a slightly different physicality. Hopefully we get a season 3, and hopefully the break isn’t as long.”
Mitchell was thrilled at the chance to film a project in her native Australia.
“At the end of 2021, I had written a list of things I was manifesting. It was a job that was shot in Australia, a period drama and it was a woman who was playing a feminist and claiming her power. That is literally The Artful Dodger for me. So it is a dream job,” she gushed. “And to be able to work at home is fantastic. It’s less of a flight to visit family and our crew is so amazing. I’ve now shot a couple projects in Australia in the last few years, since I’ve moved home — and also overseas — and I can say for sure that it’s the best and most elevated work that I’ve been able to do.”
She concluded: “It’s because of the crew and everyone behind the camera and the cast. We have such immense talent here and I’m so excited that the world is becoming privy to it because we’ve known it. We’ve always made such fantastic shows but they have this Aussie tone with a gritty drama. Now we’re expanding that and we’ve got these massive period dramas with crazy budgets. It’s really fun to be a part of that kind of new moment in Aussie film and TV. So I couldn’t be more stoked and I would just work in Australia with Aussie crew for the rest of my career if I could. It’s the best.”
The Artful Dodger is currently streaming on Hulu.

Nancy Guthrie could be found one hour from now … or it could take weeks … or even years to locate her.
Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos made the sobering remarks in a recent interview with the New York Times, underscoring the very real possibility Nancy’s kidnapping case could drag on for quite some time.
But Nanos also assured the public that investigators will ultimately “find” the suspect, or suspects, responsible for abducting Nancy from her Tucson, Arizona, home in the wee hours of February 1.
The sheriff added, “we won’t quit,” referring to Pima County detectives and FBI agents who have been working the puzzling case from the beginning.
Last week, the FBI released footage from a doorbell camera, showing the alleged kidnapper lurking around the front door of Nancy’s house. The prowler was wearing a mask and gloves with a holstered gun around his waist.
Several news outlets, including TMZ, have received purported ransom letters demanding money for the return of Nancy. Nancy’s daughter, TODAY Show host Savannah Guthrie, her sister Annie, and her brother Camron have released video statements to communicate with the kidnapper or kidnappers, but their efforts to bring home their mom have fallen short.

Authorities have detained several people for questioning, but later released them. No suspects have been identified in the case so far.

Irina Shayk brought serious supermodel heat to Miami Beach and the ocean wasn’t the only thing turning heads.
The Russian beauty was photographed Saturday rocking a sleek black bikini while enjoying a sun-soaked day in the surf with her daughter, Lea De Seine, and their dog. Shayk kept it effortlessly cool, pairing the two-piece with a black baseball cap and dark sunglasses as she strutted along the shoreline like it was Fashion Week: South Beach Edition.
The model showed off her sculpted physique as she stepped in and out of the water, sun glistening off her skin while waves crashed behind her. Even mid splash, it looked like a swim campaign in motion.
At one point, Irina waded into the water hand in hand with Lea, smiling as they bounced through the surf together. The 8-year-old, whom she shares with ex Bradley Cooper, appeared completely at ease, laughing and sticking close to mom while navigating the tide.
Between playful dips in the ocean and sandy strolls along the beach, Shayk kept a watchful eye on her mini me, seamlessly switching from runway-ready to hands-on beach mom.
And while most people need a glam squad for that kind of glow, Irina made it look effortless.
From catwalks in Paris to coastlines in Miami, some things never change and Irina knows how to own the spotlight even when it’s just the sun.

Charlotte Ross is officially done with her Studio City chapter … because the actress has sold her hillside home … TMZ has learned.
Real estate sources tell us the “Days of Our Lives” alum closed Thursday, unloading the Fryman Canyon Estates property for $3.4 million. We’re told Ross is moving out of the area altogether.

The main floor features open living and dining spaces that spill into a family room with French doors leading to the backyard. The kitchen comes decked out with top-of-the-line Viking appliances.

The youngest Beckham just dropped the sweetest message and it might double as a family olive branch.
Harper Beckham shared a throwback snap with her brothers — Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz — writing, “I love you all so much words can’t describe it,” in a Valentine’s Day Instagram post.
The timing? Not exactly random. As you know, tensions have been brewing between Brooklyn and the rest of the Beckham clan, with ongoing drama involving his wife, Nicola Peltz, and distance from his parents, David and Victoria.
Harper’s post felt like a subtle but powerful show of unity, especially since she tagged all three brothers … Brooklyn included.
Romeo quickly reposted the tribute with an infinity emoji, signaling loyalty and love. Victoria also reshared the moment with heart emojis, keeping the public front warm despite the behind-the-scenes frost. Noticeably missing was a public response from Brooklyn.
Brooklyn publicly aired grievances about his parents and siblings in a series of Instagram Stories recently. In the posts, Brooklyn accused his parents of controlling him for much of his life and claimed his anxiety disappeared after stepping away from his family. He also defended Nicola, pushing back against claims she influences or controls him.
Brooklyn further alleged tensions boiled over at his wedding, claiming Victoria interrupted a planned moment when Marc Anthony was serenading the newlyweds. According to Brooklyn, his mom instead danced with him in a way he described as inappropriate and humiliating.
If there’s still tension in Beckham-land, Harper just made it clear where she stands … family first.
Amy Schumer isn’t one to shy away from what some may consider to be an unconventional Valentine’s Day celebration amid her ongoing divorce.
“Give yourself all the love today,” Schumer, 44, wrote via her Instagram Stories on Saturday, February 14, sharing a selfie of the actress posing for the camera in a makeshift “crying corner.”
“Happy vday,” she added, showing off her “crying corner” complete with tissues, at least two water bottles and an appropriate “crying corner” decoration.
On December 12, 2025, Schumer announced her and husband Chris Fischer had decided to call it quits.
“Blah blah blah Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years,” Schumer wrote via Instagram at the time. “We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son. We would appreciate people respecting our privacy at this time.” (The pair share son Gene, who they welcomed in May 2019.)
Schumer added, “Amicable and all love and respect! Family forever.”
Schumer officially filed for divorce in at the beginning of the new year, submitting the necessary paperwork on January 6 with the New York Supreme Court, according to documents obtained by Us Weekly at the time. The case type is listed as “matrimonial — uncontested,” per the filing.

Amy Schumer Instagram/@amyschumer
Rumors first surfaced in November 2025 that Schumer and Fischer were headed for a divorce. (The pair sold their Brooklyn, New York, townhouse for a reported $11 million that same month.) Still, Schumer sang her spouse’s praises in early December of that same year while reflecting on her personal 2021 endometriosis surgery.
(According to the Mayo Clinic, endometriosis is a chronic health condition in which cells similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside of the uterus, often resulting in chronic pain, irregular periods, infertility and more.)
“Just found this from years ago. My trust self. Chris dug it,” Schumer wrote via Instagram at the time, captioning a throwback video. “I’ve been through a lot with endometriosis. Tell someone you love they shouldn’t have heavy excruciating periods. @endofound donate along with me today.”
Hours later, Schumer announced the split.
“Amy still adores Chris, just not romantically. He’s a great guy and an even better father,” a source exclusively told Us at the time, adding that “there wasn’t some big, scandalous catalyst for their split.”
“It just happened slowly over time, and they agreed their relationship was no longer what it once was,” the insider continued.
The source added that the estranged duo have been “figuring out” what their split will look like for “months,” especially in regards to their son.
“The goal is to make it as smooth of a transition as possible so as not to disturb their son’s day-to-day,” the insider explained. “One of the many things they see eye to eye on is Gene and his happiness coming first.”
Despite the major life change, the source also told Us that Schumer — who recently revealed her 50-pound weight loss — is “in a good place and even cracks jokes about their separation,” adding that it has “been an easy adjustment so far.”
