According to Law & Crime, Tyrone Covington was moving with his girlfriend in October 2020 when she called the police to report that her son, Josiyah Robinson, had suffered a beating and was struggling to breathe before going unconscious. More specifically, Convington and his girlfriend were reportedly moving to a new home and transporting their items by car. This, when his girlfriend informed him that her son had locked her keys in the vehicle. Covington allegedly took his belt and started whipping the boy more than 100 times. Additionally, he allegedly forced the 8-year-old to “complete military exercises such as pushups, sit-ups, and jumping jacks.”
Ultimately, Josiyah Robinson was reportedly rushed to a local hospital, then flown to a children’s hospital. However, he passed away the day after.

According to the outlet, Tyrone Covington was convicted of manslaughter and aggravated child abuse in January. Then, on Monday, March 2, a judge sentenced him to 30 years behind bars. Per the outlet, Covington, who served tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, was initially charged with first-degree murder. However, the charge was lessened to manslaughter.
“When I stop, Mr. Covington, and think about how Josiyah spent the last hour of his life feeling fear, it makes me sick,” Circuit Judge Lyann Goudie reportedly told Covington during sentencing.

Elsewhere, in Cleveland, Ohio, a 28-year-old mother named Aliyah Henderson has also made headlines for a jaw-dropping incident. As The Shade Room previously reported, Henderson has been accused of murdering two of her young daughters and stuffing their bodies inside suitcases. Their bodies were reportedly found on Monday, March 2.

Daryl Hannah Calls ‘Love Story’ A ‘Tragedy-Exploiting’ Series
Hannah has written a guest essay for The New York Times, weeks after the premiere of “Love Story.” The actress, who typically doesn’t address stories in the media, chose to speak out as many people often believe a “dramatized portrayal” as the truth.
The actress slammed how she was characterized, writing, “A recent tragedy-exploiting television series about John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette features a character using my name and presents her as me. The choice to portray her as irritating, self-absorbed, whiny and inappropriate was no accident.”
Hannah also called out one of the show’s producers, Nina Jacobson, who said Hannah was the “adversary” needed in the story. In response, the actress noted, “a real, living person is not a narrative device.”

The Actress Debunks Scenes From The Show
In “Love Story,” Hannah is portrayed by Dree Hemingway, who told Nylon that she enjoyed playing the actress. “There was a sensitivity. There’s a realness about her, and she’s so specifically who she is that it was just so fun to explore the world of Daryl,” Hemingway shared.
As Hannah wrote in her essay, the series’ interpretation was “not even a remotely accurate representation” of who she was as a person or of her relationship with JFK Jr., calling some scenes in the series “untrue.”
She then went on to debunk some of the scenes, saying that she had never used cocaine or hosted cocaine parties in her life. Nor did she pressure JFK Jr. into marrying her.

“I have never desecrated any family heirloom or intruded upon anyone’s private memorial. I have never planted any story in the press. I never compared Jacqueline Onassis’ death to a dog’s,” Hannah wrote, adding that it was “appalling” for her to have to defend herself against a TV show.
Ultimately, Hannah says her character was not “embellished.” Rather, her portrayal was simply “false.”

Daryl Hannah And John F. Kennedy Jr.’s Relationship
Hannah and JFK Jr. met in the early ’80s and reunited sometime in 1988. The actress was in a relationship with singer Jackson Browne, while JFK Jr. dated actress Christina Haag. In 1992, however, the two officially broke up with their respective partners and began dating exclusively.
At that time, Hannah was a big-name actress, having appeared in movies such as “Blade Runner” and “Splash.” The couple was frequently spotted out and about, sharing meals and doing activities together.
Although there were rumors that Kennedy’s mother, Jackie Onassis, didn’t approve of her son’s relationship with Hannah, Hannah’s mother once said, “The stories I’ve heard are just unbelievable. Daryl told me [Onassis] has been very warm and affectionate.”

After a few years of an on-and-off relationship, the couple separated in 1994, and JFK Jr. started dating Bessette.
The Actress Has Received ‘Hostile’ Messages
Since the show aired, Hannah revealed that she has been getting “hostile” and “threatening” messages from viewers who believed the events in the series happened in real life.
As the 65-year-old actress noted, she understands that part of her career is living life in the public eye, and largely, she has chosen not to engage or address “unflattering characterizations” of herself. However, she says, “My silence should not be mistaken for agreement with lies.”
Hannah is choosing to speak out about “Love Story,” as she believes her portrayal damages her reputation, writing, “In a digital era, entertainment often becomes collective memory. Real names are not fictional tools. They belong to real lives.”

Daryl Hannah Stepped Away From The Spotlight
Hannah took a step away from Hollywood, despite not officially retiring. She pursued a life away from the camera and focused on art and activism, leaving California and splitting her time between her Colorado Ranch and Ontario, Canada, cabin.
As she said in her essay, she has been focusing on her environmental advocacy and making documentary films. She also engages in animal-assisted therapy for senior citizens who have Alzheimer’s and dementia.
Hannah married musician Neil Young in 2018, and the couple frequently collaborates on activism projects they are both passionate about.

Blue Thought He Was Dad—DNA Test Allegedly Proves Otherwise
Wait… he been told us this? Back in December 2023, Blueface seemed to be settling into fatherhood. He even joyfully shared on X that he was adjusting to the idea of being Chrisean Jr.’s dad. But according to the rapper, DNA test results later confirmed that he is not actually the child’s biological father.
“Tell me why I snook an swab this baby… DNA test results came in… I am not the father smh… it’s a bitter-sweet feeling cus I was coming around to it but definitely in my best interest… thank you Jesus,” Blueface wrote. He later followed up, adding, “I can’t even pretend like I’m not happy as hell,” showing that he tried to process it with a mix of relief and acceptance.
Christen Previously Shut Down The Narrative
Chrisean didn’t hold back, having previously called out Blueface for abandoning their son. Back in October, she reminded fans that he “dipped out on Jr.” and suggested his past negative comments about their child played a role in his legal troubles. “First it was his Daddy look at him he been locked up for 2 years now our son was 6-7 month baby when his Dad lost his freedom,” Rock wrote. She also highlighted how their little one had already been through so much without a father present.

Blueface is driving home the point he’s NOT the biological dad of two-year-old Chrisean Jr. — the son of his on-again, off-again girlfriend Chrisean Rock.
The rapper posted a message on X Thursday night, insisting “Jr is not my biological son RIP to his father Ronnie.” Blueface didn’t reveal who exactly Ronnie is … but Chrisean had an ex named Karon “Ronny Doe” Cann, who passed away in 2025.
In the X post, Blueface said he didn’t want to be discredited by being labeled an absent father, especially when he’s already very present in the lives of his 2 other children, he claims.
Blueface also said he tried to “fill in the blanks” because the child’s biological father is “no longer with us.” He went on to say he can’t “continue the plot” of masquerading as the dad, noting “it doesn’t feel right.”
Chrisean fired back on Instagram, writing that Blueface dissed her and her son by suggesting they’re “Dumb” on a livestream. She vowed to “never normalize that,” but she did not address Blueface’s claim that he’s not Jr.’s dad. She also posted, “Pray for Jonathan” — Blue’s real first name.
This is the second time Blueface has tackled this issue. In December 2023, he denied being the baby’s father months after Chrisean had given birth.
Then, in February 2025, Chrisean uploaded the results of an alleged paternity test to her son’s Instagram account, which apparently showed Blueface was the father.
The situation got even more confusing in November 2025 when Blueface called Chrisean Jr. his son on a live stream while answering questions about the paternity test.
