Sydney Sweeney Warned ‘Sexualized Roles’ Could Derail Career
Sydney Sweeney has sparked concerns that she may derail her Hollywood career if she continues to feature in racy roles.
Since her breakout role on “Euphoria,” the actress has scored several top screen jobs that involved her playing suggestive roles, but experts say she runs the risk of being “typecast” as having only nudity to offer.
Sydney Sweeney has previously defended herself, saying she feels like there’s “a stigma against actresses who get naked on screen.”
Experts Warn Sydney Sweeney Risks Derailing Her Career

Sydney Sweeney has been dragged into several online controversies over her edgy and nude scenes in the ongoing “Euphoria” season 3, as well as other films.
More recently, she garnered fan ire after she posed like a baby in the Sam Levinson-led film, as well as took part in several absurd requests from fans since she became an adult creator in the series.
Now, experts have raised an alarm on how she risks derailing her career with the frequent nude and provocative castings, warning that she could be “typecast” with sexualized characters becoming “her entire brand proposition.”
“Euphoria clearly helped establish Sydney Sweeney as a fearless performer, physically and emotionally, and that’s part of why she broke through,” crisis and reputation management expert Dave Quast told Fox News Digital.
“The risk is that when the public conversation focuses more on the sexualised aspects of the role than on the performance, the same work that made her seem daring can start to narrow the brand,” he continued.
The Expert Claims There’s A Problem If Sexuality Becomes ‘Dominant’ In Her Screen Jobs

Elsewhere in his assessment of the situation, Quast explained that although displaying sexuality on screen “is not inherently unserious,” the problem arises when “it becomes the dominant shorthand for the actor.”
“For Sweeney, the challenge is not that she has played sexualised roles. The challenge is making sure those roles continue to read as character choices, not as the entire brand proposition,” he added.
Last year, the 28-year-old actress starred in several racy scenes with co-star Brandon Sklenar in “The Housemaid.”
Things quickly intensified following the release of the third and final season of “Euphoria,” where her character Cassie joined OnlyFans to make money and support her marriage to Jacob Elordi’s Nate.
Sam Levinson Defended Sydney Sweeney’s Character’s Twist

Several fans have dragged her and show creator Sam Levinson, with many even suggesting that the show be canceled.
In the latest season, they’ve claimed many of her racy scenes were “unnecessary,” while also ripping Levinson for his “unnecessary use” of Nazi symbols.
During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Levinson addressed the uproar over the character in this season, explaining that her provocative outfits, like the dog and baby costumes, were meant to add humor to the scenes of Cassie making OnlyFans content, with said content being filmed by her housekeeper.
“[Cassie] has got her dog house and her little dog ears and the nose, and that has its own humor, but what makes the scene is the fact that her housekeeper is the one filming it,” Levinson said. “What we wanted to always find is the other layer of absurdity that we’re able to tie into it so that we’re not too inside of her fantasy or illusion… the gag is to jump out, to break the wall.”
The Actress Said She Never Felt ‘Pushed’ To Do Raunchy Scenes In ‘Euphoria’

Sweeney has previously spoken out against the backlash that has trailed her racy portrayal on screen, noting that “Euphoria” creator never forced her to do anything she didn’t want to.
In an interview with The Independent, she said that people willfully antagonize actresses who go naked rather than look at the talent.
“I’ve never felt like Favour Adegoke Sam [Levinson] has pushed it on me or was trying to get a nude scene into an HBO show,” she said. “When I didn’t want to do it, he didn’t make me.”
“There are moments where Cassie was supposed to be shirtless, and I would tell Sam, ‘I don’t really think that’s necessary here,’” she added. “He was like, ‘OK, we don’t need it.’”
Sydney Sweeney Thinks There’s A ‘Stigma Against Women Going Nude On Screen

Sweeney also explained that while she’s willing to appear nude, she doesn’t necessarily believe it should overshadow her talent.
“This is something that has bothered me for a while,” she said. “I’m very proud of my work in Euphoria. I thought it was a great performance. But no one talks about it because I got naked. I do ‘The White Lotus,’ and all of a sudden, critics are paying attention.”
Sweeney continued, “People are loving me. They’re going, ‘Oh my God, what’s she doing next?’ I was like, ‘Did you not see that in ‘Euphoria?’ Did you not see that in ‘The Handmaid’s Tale?’”
She then added that she thinks there’s “a stigma against actresses who get naked on screen,” saying, “When a guy has a sex scene or shows his body, he still wins awards and gets praise. But the moment a girl does it, it’s completely different.”

Jelly Roll Breaks Silence on Bunnie Xo Divorce Filing
Jelly Roll has broken his silence on his divorce from Bunnie Xo after nearly 10 years of marriage.
Speaking on stage, Jelly Roll, 41, publicly addressed his split from Bunnie, 46, at his Saratoga Springs, New York tour leg on Thursday, June 18.
“I wasn’t going to talk about this tonight, but while we’re talking about liars… the internet is a liar,” Jelly Roll said in footage shared via his Instagram. “It’s the only time and the only city I’m going to speak about this so break your camera phones out now.”
The singer used the opportunity to clear up speculation surrounding their split, insisting the former couple are still amicable.
“Me and my wife are best friends. We will always be best friends. We just got off the phone earlier today,” he said.
“Nobody cheated on nobody. She just did a whole podcast about it. You can go watch it. Every word of it is the truth,” Jelly Roll added, referencing the Thursday episode of her “Dumb Blondes” podcast, where Bunnie denied rumors of a romance with Chad Kroeger.
“That will be my best friend forever. This is the only time I will ever speak about it,” Jelly Roll continued.
The country star ended with a message for Bunnie directly, thanking her for the time they spent together.
“Bunnie, I love you baby. Thank you for those 10 years. They were incredible. Thank you for the next 10 years of friendship and 20 beyond that,” he said.
Jelly Roll (real name Jason DeFord) quietly filed for divorce from Bunnie (real name Alyssa DeFord) in Tennessee on May 18, Us Weekly confirmed on Monday, June 15.
Us reached out to reps for both stars for comment.
Hours before news of the split broke, Bunnie posed in pink lingerie in a photo shared via her Instagram Story, adding the caption, “She’s getting her sparkle back.” The podcaster also shared a video of herself lip-synching to Nickelback’s “How You Remind Me,” a song allegedly based on a toxic relationship.
Months before the split news, Bunnie clapped back at rumors of marital trouble.
“Someone said the other day, ‘They used to always be together, and now you never see them together,’” Bunnie said on her “Dumb Blonde” podcast in October 2025. “I’m like, ‘Do you guys not know that for the past six months [that] I’ve been trying to make a baby?’” (Jelly Roll and his now-estranged wife have been open about their IVF and surrogacy journey.)
She continued, “My husband has to work to f***ing bring home the bacon. Luckily, I get the luxury of working from home. He doesn’t. He has to make appearances, but I literally have been on IVF meds for f***ing six months and going through heartbreak and f***ing so much s***.”
Jelly Roll met Bunnie at one of his concerts in Las Vegas in 2015. The pair tied the knot in the city’s famous Little White Wedding Chapel in August 2016.
The same month that Jelly Roll tied the knot with Bunnie, he welcomed son Noah Buddy with ex Melisa Ann Cowell. (The country singer’s daughter, Bailee Ann, whom he shares with ex Felicia Beckwith, was born during his incarceration for a drug dealing offense in 2008.)
Jelly Roll and Bunnie have been open about the ups and downs in their relationship. In October 2025, the “Save Me” singer got candid about cheating on Bunnie during their marriage.
“One of the worst moments of my adulthood was when I had an affair on my wife,” he said on the “Human School” podcast. “Because it was the first time that I was like, ‘I really can’t get this right at all. I know I’m in love with this woman.’ It just really, really, really blew me back. … I wish our story would’ve went in the way that it never had an affair. I’m proud of who we are today. I truly am.”
Bunnie also opened up about the cheating scandal in her February memoir, Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic, and exclusively told Us at the time that it was difficult to move past his “betrayal.”
“I don’t think anybody can just snap out of it. It is a process. You’re literally grieving and you’re heartbroken but you’re still in love with this person. Even though the affair is a part of the book, it’s not our story,” she shared. “It’s literally what catapulted us into who we are today and I think that readers need to definitely consume it, chew on it and think about it. But they also see what we’ve made from that entire situation. It completely changed who we are as humans and how we looked at love.”

Demi Moore Uses Kerastase Anti-Frizz Hair Oil for Glass-Like Hair

Demi Moore‘s latest “glass hair” look at the premiere of La Vie D’Une Femme during the Cannes Film Festival exuded a regal polish that even we can’t stop thinking about. Kerastase Anti-Frizz Hair Oil is the secret, and it’s one of many Hollywood hair secrets that you can actually shop on Amazon for less than you think.
Celebrity hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos used the shine-boosting oil to give Moore’s signature long brunette hair that ultra-reflective, frizz-free finish that looked almost like liquid under the light. Weightless yet intensely smoothing, the formula helps to tame flyaways, soften dry ends and leave hair with that expensive-looking sheen without making it feel greasy.
Get the Kerastase Gloss Absolu Glaze Drops Anti-Frizz Hair Oil for $39 at Amazon! Please note, prices are accurate as of the publishing date but are subject to change.
The formula is a go-to for stylists thanks to its lightweight texture. Instead of sitting on top of the hair or making roots appear oily, the serum-like oil penetrates strands to add movement while keeping flyaways under control. A few drops instantly help soften frizz, tame static and make hair look healthier and more polished, even if it’s been heat styled, color treated or exposed to humidity.
Part of what gives the formula its glossy, smoothing effect is its blend of nourishing oils and conditioning ingredients that coat the hair without leaving behind a sticky residue. It’s infused with wild rose in oil, an ingredient known for helping boost softness and shine while giving hair that silky, light-reflective finish. It also contains moisturizing agents that help smooth the appearance of rough, dry cuticles.
To use, work through damp hair before blow drying for a smoother finish, or apply to dry hair after styling to add shine and definition, especially through the mid-lengths and ends.
One reviewer with “dry and frizzy” hair called the formula “magical” and not “heavy and greasy like other oils.”
If Moore’s Cannes hair moment is on your mood board, the Kerastase Anti-Frizz Hair Oil will help you get one step closer to achieving it!

10 Great Animated Shows You’ll Wish You Watched Sooner
In the early days of animation, it was limited to theater shorts with the odd animated film during the early years of the 20th century, until the release of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 1937 made it a staple of cinema. It took a while for animation to jump to television, but thanks to revolutionary cost-saving techniques developed by Hanna-Barbera, the door was opened. Today, animated TV shows are available on numerous streaming platforms, and are as varied and creative as there are animation studios.
This list is more of an excuse to shine a spotlight on a few animated shows. Some are well known by the general public, while others are more overlooked. Regardless, they’re a fun time, and if you haven’t seen them yet, they might be worth a look.

‘Green Eggs and Ham’ (2019–2022)
Guy-Am-I (Michael Douglas) is a struggling inventor who, after one failed invention too many, decides to give up on his dreams and move to Meepville to get a job watching paint dry. He crosses paths with the optimistic Sam-I-Am (Adam DeVine), who has sprung a rare Chickeraffe (Dee Bradly Baker) from the local zoo, with intentions of releasing it into the wild. However, a selfish businessman named Mr. Snerz (Eddie Izzard) also wants the Chickeraffe, and Sam and Guy find themselves pursued by agents from an organization called The Bad Guys.
Green Eggs and Ham might be the best adaptation of the works of Dr. Seuss since the iconic How the Grinch Stole Christmas cartoon featuring Boris Karloff. While it does expand the story into a road trip comedy, the jokes are hilarious and chock-full of references to other Seuss stories, the animation is vibrant and expressive, and the characters are fully realized. Plus, it’s got Keegan-Michael Key as the voice of the fourth-wall-breaking narrator who says all of his dialogue in rhymes, and yes, it’s as funny as it sounds.
9
‘Shadow Raiders’ (1998–1999)
After the destruction of her homeworld by the Beast Planet, Princess Tekla (Donna Yamamoto) arrives in the Cluster system, made up of the planets of Rock, Ice, Fire, and Bone, who raid one another for resources. During one such raid by Rock on Ice, Tekla meets a miner named Graveheart (Paul Dobson) and the leader of Ice, King Cryos (Mark Oliver), and warns them that the Beast Planet is coming to destroy their worlds as well. Thus, they ally and work to convince the other members of the Cluster to join them, while also fighting agents of the Beast Planet acting as its vanguard.
Shadow Raiders only lasted two seasons, but it stands out as one of the best and most underrated early CGI shows, even if time hasn’t been the kindest to the animation. The writing is stellar, focusing on the difficulties that come with maintaining such a large alliance between former enemies and well-realized characters who each get moments of growth and fantastic relationships with one another. Then there is the Beast Planet itself—a cosmic horror that consumes anything in its path, serving as an inevitable doom that our heroes can only seem to delay, but never defeat.

‘Inside Job’ (2021–2022)
Unknown to humanity at large, every major conspiracy theory is true, and a cabal of shadow governments, including The Illuminati and Reptile People, control the world. One of these organizations, Cognito, Inc., is based in the United States of America, and is tasked with ensuring that the public doesn’t become aware of the shadow governments’ affairs. Their main team is led by the brilliant but socially awkward Dr. Reagan Ridley (Lizzy Caplan), daughter of Cognito’s co-founder and former CEO, Randall (Christian Slater), and Brett Hand (Clark Duke), a friendly but overall average guy.
Inside Job became one of many shows canceled before its time, but what we got is honestly some of the funniest writing to come out of recent animated shows. Its style of humor is based on dysfunctional office comedies spliced with fast-paced slapstick and clever jokes and situations based around various different kinds of conspiracies. It also helps that the characters stand out so well, especially Reagan, thanks to her genius intellect, awkwardness outside of her lab, and the complicated relationship she has with her parents.
7
‘The Legend of Vox Machina’ (2022–Present)
In the fantasy world of Exandria, the kingdom of Tal’Dore finds itself beset by an unknown threat that killed off most of its greatest heroes. Thus, the kingdom must turn to Vox Machina, consisting of the strong but simple half-giant Grog Strongjaw (Travis Willingham), the exiled human noble Percival de Rolo (Taliesin Jaffe), survivalist half-elf twins Vex’alia (Laura Bailey) and Vax’ildan (Liam O’Brien), half-elf druid-in-training Keyleth (Marisha Ray), gnome cleric of the Everlight Pike Trickfoot (Ashley Johnson), and horny gnome bard Scanlan Shorthalt (Sam Reigel). Sure, they might be a handful of emotional screw-ups who barely function as a team, but when the chips are down, they rise to the occasion and discover that they have the makings of heroes after all.
The Legend of Vox Machina is an adaptation of the popular Dungeons & Dragons live-play by Critical Role, with a few liberties taken to make it flow better as a TV show. It combines all the epic set pieces of high fantasy quest stories with raunchy jokes, gruesome violence, and strong character dynamics and developments. Plus, it also has some of the best-looking dragon designs in television, with the best example being Thordak (Lance Reddick), a red dragon who looks like the Devil himself has come to burn the world in Hellfire.
6
‘The Mighty Nein’ (2025–Present)
On the continent of Wildmount to the East of Tal’Dore, the human-dominant Dwendalian Empire and the dark elf-dominant Kryn Dynasty stand on the precipice of war when the Kryn’s holy Luxon beacon is stolen. Beauregard Lionett (Marisha Ray), a human member of detective monks called the Cobalt Soul, investigates the theft of the Luxon and learns that it is connected to Trent Ikithon (Mark Strong), the Archmage of Civil Influence to King Dwendal (Graham McTavish). In time, she crosses paths with unlikely individuals: disheveled human wizard Caleb Willowgast (Liam O’Brien); cleptomaniac and alcoholic goblin Not the Brave (Sam Reigel); half-orc sailor turned warlock Fjord Stone (Travis Willingham); hyperactive tiefling Cleric Jester Lavorre (Laura Bailey); theatrical fortune-telling tiefling Mollymauk Tealeaf (Taliesin Jaffe); and feared aasimar barbarian Yasha Nydoorin (Ashleey Johnson).
The Mighty Nein benefits from having hour-long episodes compared to the half-hour ones for The Legend of Vox Machina, allowing more time to be dedicated towards the story and characters. As a result, there’s a lot more development in its first season in comparison to the predecessor series, while the story is more akin to Game of Thrones, with complex politics and greater flaws for its protagonists compared to Vox Machina. Trent Ikithon also comes out strong as the primary antagonist thanks to Strong’s chilling performance and his brutal but effective methods of getting what he wants.
5
‘The Venture Bros’ (2003–2018)
In his youth, Dr. Thaddeus “Rusty” Venture (James Urbaniak) was a boy adventurer forced to travel the world with his super scientist father, Dr. Jonas Venture (Paul Boocock), which left him emotionally stunted and desperate for recognition. After Jonas died, Rusty took over his company, Venture Industries, and had twin boys named Hank (Chris McCulloch) and Dean (Michael Sinterniklaas). Rusty and his family still go on adventures and frequently clash with a butterfly villain named The Monarch (Chris McCulloch), but fortunately, they are protected by their hyper-competent and violent bodyguard, Brock Sampson (Patrick Warburton).
The Venture Bros was known for large gaps between seasons, which the writers used to produce the best product they could. The result is a beautiful love letter and hilarious satire of classic superhero and adventure stories, especially Johnny Quest. Between its jokes that explore things like the bureaucracy of a guild of supervillains, there’s a long, continuous storyline that explores Rusty dealing with the trauma left by his father, trying to do better for his sons despite his failings, and numerous mysteries revolving around The Monarch’s backstory and Jonas’ shady past.
4
‘Over the Garden Wall’ (2014)
Half-brothers Wirt (Elijah Wood) and Greg (Collin Dean) find themselves lost in a mysterious forest called the Unknown, which is full of strange magic and mysterious locations that feel lost in time. Alongside Greg’s pet frog (Jack Jones) and a talking bluebird named Beatrice (Melanie Lynskey), the boys try to find their way back home and encounter a wide cast of colorful characters. They frequently cross paths with a cryptic Woodsman (Christopher Lloyd), who warns them about The Beast (Samuel Ramey), a dark force in the woods that pursues lost souls.
Over the Garden Wall packs a ton of content into its ten 11-minute episodes, and creates one of the most immersive worlds of any Cartoon Network show. The Unknown is an amalgamation of fairy tale and folkloric tropes with an aesthetic that pays homage to the Golden Age of Animation, creating a world that feels both familiar and alien, with magic that ranges from whimsical to nightmarish. It’s also a fantastic show to rewatch once you know the story, as every character and local is brimming with symbolism and foreshadowing regarding the overall themes and the progression of each character.
3
‘Adventure Time’ (2010–2018)
Finn the Human (Jeremy Shada) is a young boy living in the magical land of Ooo with his adoptive brother, Jake (John DiMaggio), a shapeshifting dog. Together, they go on various quests to fight monsters, loot treasure, and protect the numerous princesses from villains like the Ice King (Tom Kenny). Some of their other friends include their robot roommate BMO (Niki Yang), Jake’s girlfriend Lady Rainicorn (Niki Yang), Princess Bubblegum (Hynden Walch) of the Candy Kingdom, and the Vampire Queen, Marceline (Olivia Olson).
Adventure Time is one of those beautiful shows that grew up with its audience. Its early seasons feel like Dungeons & Dragons sessions, with plenty of adventure, action, and fun, but things gradually shift towards more emotional stories with lots of existential themes regarding the meaning of life, losing the people we love the most, and the difficulties of growing up. It even got spinoffs that continued to age alongside its fans, but there is a magic to the original, one-of-a-kind animated show that just can’t be replicated.
2
‘Gargoyles’ (1994–1997)
In the year 994 AC, a clan of gargoyles led by Goliath (Keith David) defends a Scottish castle from Viking invaders, only to be betrayed and have most of their members killed. A magic spell traps Goliath, four other gargoyles, and a gargoyle beast in a stone sleep until the castle rises above the clouds, which is broken is fulfilled in 1994 when a billionaire named David Xanatos (Jonathan Frakes) transports their castle atop his New York City skyscraper. He soon proves to be untrustworthy, so Goliath and his clan instead ally with NYPD Detective Elisa Maza (Salli Richardson) to protect the city from threats both mundane and magical in nature.
Gargoyles is, bar none, the best animated television show to come from Disney. It balanced action and adventure with rich worldbuilding with thousands of years’ worth of magical history and complex character arcs ripe with melodrama and introspection. Fans of Star Trek: The Next Generation will also get a kick out of just how many actors are in both shows, such as Brent Spiner, Michael Dorn, and Marina Sirtis.
1
‘BoJack Horseman’ (2014–2020)
BoJack Horseman (Will Arnett) is a washed-up, depressed, alcoholic actor who peaked in the 1990s and is desperate to get back into the public eye. He decides to publish a biography, but when he can’t make progress, he is assigned Diane Nguyen (Alison Brie) as a ghostwriter. In between chapters, BoJack also gets into frequent adventures fueled by recklessness and depression, which tend to involve his roommate Todd (Aaron Paul), his agent and former girlfriend Princess Carolin (Amy Sedaris), and his optimistic former rival, Mr. Peanutbutter (Paul F. Tompkins).
BoJack Horseman had a rocky first season, but once it found its footing, it quickly became one of the greatest animated shows ever made. The show contrasts a world full of colorful anthropomorphic animals living alongside humans with a dark, unapologetic look at the corruption in Hollywood and the lingering effects of trauma, and that’s only scratching the surface of how dark the show can get. Tying it all together is BoJack himself, who struggles constantly with trying to be a good person despite his hard life, but finds that moving on from trauma and fixing one’s life is much harder than it looks in movies.

Charlie Sheen ‘Annoyed’ Over Health And Finance Questions
Charlie Sheen wasn’t in the mood to answer questions about his health and finances in a recent interview, where he gave blunt responses after being asked.
The Golden Globe-winning actor, who has previously opened up on his positive HIV diagnosis, wrote in his memoir that he felt a sense of “relief” once he got the diagnosis.
These days, Charlie Sheen has mostly remained sober after years battling with substance abuse and p-rn, which cost him some roles in Hollywood.

Sheen savagely shut off his host when he was asked personal questions about his health status and finances in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
The “Two and a Half Men” star sat down with the publication to discuss his Netflix documentary, “aka Charlie Sheen,” which was released on Netflix on September 10, 2025, as a “love letter” to his father, Martin Sheen.
However, when asked about his health, the actor seemingly got “a bit annoyed” with the interviewer, responding, “I think my presence answers those questions.”
The interviewer then doubled down and asked him about his finances, to which he shot back, with his own question: “Would you ask me that question at a dinner party in front of my parents?”
“I’m fine,” he insisted.
The Actor Came Clean About Being HIV Positive

Perhaps Sheen was “annoyed” with the question because he has always lived his life like an open book, especially after coming clean on his HIV-positive diagnosis in 2015.
The diagnosis coincided with years of controversies that trailed him as a result of his addiction to drugs, alcohol, and prostitutes.
At the time, he noted that he paid about $10 million to keep his condition private and didn’t know “entirely” how he contracted the virus.
However, the intent behind telling his story via the documentary wasn’t to revisit the scandals he’d survived but to take a retrospective look at the highs and lows of his life.
“I have been approached a couple of times, but it never actually got to an in-person meeting,” the star said, per Fox News Digital. “It was just a couple of phone calls, or I’d read a pitch breakdown for how somebody thought they should document my history, and none of that spoke to me at all.”
“I saw a guy that wasn’t interested in a lot of the [tabloid] cr-p,” he said, referring to director Andrew Renzi. “I saw a guy that wasn’t there to exploit anything, that was there to celebrate the cool sh-t and to be sensitive, but honest and thorough, with the not-so-cool sh-t.”
Charlie Sheen Reveals How He Felt After Learning About His Diagnosis

Sheen endured so much pain in the years leading up to his diagnosis, especially as his addictions took the better part of him.
In his memoir “The Book of Sheen,” he wrote about how he attempted to keep his wild, drug-fuelled lifestyle private, but his “stabbing, nonstop clusters” of headaches coupled with “delirious night sweats that redefined ‘waterbed’” forced him to seek medical attention.
“I had convinced myself if I did go, the malady they’d uncover would be that of grave consequence: brain cancer, spinal meningitis, a dying liver,” he wrote. “They tapped my spine as soon as I arrived, and that was an experience I woulda been fine never owning.”
He added, “When they finally got to the bottom of it, and informed me I’d joined the luckless ranks of the hivvers – I didn’t say a word. I found a place way out beyond anything that wanted to be looked at, and sent a stare that wouldn’t arrive for a hundred years.”
The Actor’s Diagnosis Gave Him A Sense Of ‘Relief’

The “Anger Management” actor then noted that he felt some sense of “relief” after getting his diagnosis, per Fox News Digital.
“The relief of knowing an entire discipline of high-tech medicine was at my disposal to drive that bastard into submission,” he wrote. “To counterattack the invaders, the doctors loaded their expertise into what seemed like every IV bag in the city.”
“The pricey meds couldn’t kill that f-cker, but they could keep it from killing my spirit,” he added.
Meanwhile, what is left of Sheen’s fortune remains unknown, but at the peak of his career, he was the highest-paid male actor on television, commanding a whopping $1.8 million per episode of “Two And A Half Men.”
However, a highly publicized exit from the show in 2011 due to his addictions triggered a multi-year downward spiral.
Charlie Sheen Has Been Sober For Over Eight Years Now

It is believed that the combination of Sheen’s substance abuse, costly divorces, child support payments exceeding several ten thousand dollars a month at the time, and the alleged $10 million paid to extortionists prior to his 2015 HIV-positive disclosure has taken a dip in his pocket.
Over the past eight years, he has maintained that he’s been sober and has since effected a change from his old way of life.
“There really aren’t challenges with sobriety,” he said, per Fox News Digital. “I’m not connected to the people of the past.”
Sheen continued, “If I were to go back to those choices to numb myself, get out of my head, or feel differently, I have so much evidence that it’s only going to make things worse and more complicated. I’d suddenly be steeped in shame. And with that comes deceit and manipulation. All that cr-p doesn’t fit in anymore.”

Netflix’s 8-Part ‘White Lotus’ Replacement Is Officially Available Now

Crime thrillers are always in fashion, but when you add some social commentary or mystery, then the show is almost guaranteed to be a hit. HBO‘s hit anthology series The White Lotus has mastered this with its themed seasons, which keep viewers guessing about a crime that rocks a top-tier resort. Streaming services have tried to make their own versions of The White Lotus, but none have quite reached the acclaim of the Mike White show. However, Netflix is releasing a new series this week that aims to compete with The White Lotus in terms of narrative and prestige.

Love Island USA’s Jen, Gabriel Are Mocked for Having Public Sex
Another day in the Love Island USA villa means another night where a couple has sex in front of everyone — and then gets mocked for it.
During the Friday, June 18, episode of the show, Jen Terry and Gabriel Vasconcelos celebrated their recoupling by hooking up — again — in full view of the other Islanders. The next day the others poked fun at Jen and Gabriel covering themselves up with a sheet despite everyone knowing what they were up to.
The episode ultimately ended with Gabe being banished from the villa by the girls. Jen and Gabriel previously solidified their bond when night cameras caught them having sex. The duo weren’t shy when discussing their chemistry with their fellow Islanders.
Gabriel, specifically, had previously turned heads when the Islanders had to read out sex facts and figure out which of them it was about during a challenge. One of the revelations was that an Islander slept with someone in their 50s.
“I was out and I was having a good time with my friends. She started talking to me and she was hot as f*** for her age,” Gabriel, who is 26 years old, said about his encounter with the 52-year-old. “We had a good night together. She had a lot of experience.”
Gabriel’s sexual history was then joked about when narrator Iain Stirling compared him to a “reverse Leonardo DiCaprio” due to the actor’s dating history. In addition to Gabriel, season 8 of Love Island USA features Aniya Harvey, Bryce Alakai Dettloff, KC Chandler, Mackenzie “Kenzie” Annis, Melanie Moreno, Sincere Rhea, Sean Reifel, Trinity Tatum, Corbin Mims, Kayda Bosse and Zach Georgiou.
Sol Dean, Jen and Caleb McDaniel are the newest group of bombshells who entered the villa in hopes of breaking up some couples.
Love Island USA follows a group of singles who must pair off in order to stay in the show’s luxury villa. The contestants — referred to as Islanders — live in isolation in a villa under constant video surveillance. They must be coupled up to remain on the show and earn a shot at the $100,000 prize.
While the islanders are filming nonstop for weeks, viewers are watching daily episodes and casting votes that affect the couples and the fate of the contestants.
Before viewers tuned in, Peacock issued a message to remind the audience to be kind.

Bunnie Xo Addresses Claim She Is Dating Chad Kroeger
Bunnie Xo is setting the record straight after rumors spread like wildfire that she had started dating Chad Kroeger.
Speaking on the Thursday, June 18, episode of her “Dumb Blonde” podcast, Bunnie, 46, shot down the romance speculation that emerged after news broke that she and Jelly Roll, 41, had split.
Bunnie explained that she had not been posting new content on her social media for a period of time while she was in her healing era but had shared a throwback clip that featured the Nickelback singer.
“The news drops, I have f**king Nickelback on my page,” Bunnie said. She noted that she was unaware of when the break up news would be made public and insisted it was just a case of poor timing.
Bunnie said that the footage was recorded at one of Jelly Roll’s shows in Las Vegas in 2025 and explained that she nicknamed Kroeger “Daddy Chaddy” as “a joke.”
“I am not with Daddy Chaddy. There’s no f**king way in hell that that would even be a thing. And no, I did not cheat on my husband and leave him for Chad, and like, none of that. Like, please,” she said.

Bunnie added that despite the rumors about her and Kroeger’s relationship status taking on a life of their own, the narrative is inaccurate.
“This is so wrong. I am not dating Chad Kroger. I am so sorry to Chad and Nickelback for this happening. It’s embarrassing,” she said.
Bunnie added, “God, it’s just so f***ed up that the internet can just run with a narrative and people just f***ing run with it.”
She concluded, “So there is no Chad and Bunnie Xo.”
After the episode dropped, Jelly Roll took to stage on the Saratoga Springs, New York leg on his tour to confirm there was no infidelity on Bunnie’s part.
“Nobody cheated on nobody. She just did a whole podcast about it. You can go watch it. Every word of it is the truth,” he told the crowd, describing the internet as “liars.”
Earlier this week, Us Weekly confirmed that Jelly Roll quietly filed for divorce from Bunnie back in May.
According to court documents obtained by Us, the country singer cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split, adding that the “parties are unable to live together successfully as Husband and Wife” any longer.
Jelly Roll and Bunnie tied the knot in August 2016. While Bunnie revealed in 2024 that she went through fertility treatments, the pair welcomed no children together. Jelly Roll, for his part, is a father of two. The Grammy nominee shares daughter Bailee with ex-girlfriend Felicia Beckwith and son Noah Buddy, 9, with ex Melisa Ann Cowell. (During their marriage, Jelly Roll and Bunnie had primary custody of Bailee when she was a minor.)

Colin Farrell Eyes 5 Seasons of His Apple TV Detective Series, But There’s a Catch
Summary
- Collider’s Steve Weintraub talks with Colin Farrell for Apple TV’s Sugar Season 2.
- Farrell discusses working with Sam Catlin to expand the show’s mythology, filming in LA, and how many seasons he hopes to do.
- He also discusses Matt Reeves’ The Batman Part II and his favorite movies from Steven Spielberg and Christopher Nolan.
After delivering an Emmy Award-nominated performance for HBO’s The Penguin, Colin Farrell continues to dominate television with his Apple TV series Sugar. Now, the genre-blending crime thriller returns to the streamer for Season 2, and while talking with Collider’s Steve Weintraub, Farrell explains that this time around, their team wasn’t “building a plane mid-flight” like their first go-round, but that their new showrunner and writer, Sam Catlin, “explored new avenues” and made it a joyful collaboration for the star and executive producer.
In Sugar Season 2, the charming investigator, John Sugar (Farrell), refuses to give up the search for his missing sister, but in the meantime, has also taken on a new case to search for the older brother of an up-and-coming boxer. Now, as his investigation expands to a city-wide conspiracy, Sugar has to decide what he’s truly willing to do for what’s right.
In this interview, Farrell talks about his contributions to Season 2, working alongside Catlin and the crew, and keeping production in Los Angeles. He tells Collider that fans can expect even more of the mythology to be explored in Season 2, plus shares his hopes for doing “four or five seasons.” Don’t miss all of this, and Farrell’s favorite Steven Spielberg and Christopher Nolan films, and an exciting tease for Matt Reeves’ The Batman Part II.
Colin Farrell Reveals His Favorite Steven Spielberg and Christopher Nolan Films
“Everything just came together so perfectly.”
COLLIDER: Disclosure [Day] is great, and Emily Blunt is amazing.
COLIN FARRELL: I heard she’s extraordinary in it, man. That’s so great. I can’t wait to see it. I watched Close Encounters last week again. It gets better every time.
What is your favorite Spielberg? I’ve been asking everyone this. We ran a supercut this morning with Jack Black, Matt Damon, everybody talking about their favorite Spielberg.
FARRELL: My son’s is Jurassic Park, which I love. I’ll never forget going to the UCI Cinema in the square in Tallaght in Dublin and walking up to the cinema, and they had stickers of T-Rex talons all the way leading from the cinema, all the way up to the concession stand. I’ll never forget the lights going down and that thing coming on.
But for me, in my later years, Close Encounters, like in the last 20 years, and in the first 25 years of my life or whatever age I was, five when I saw it, or six when I saw it, E.T. So this trilogy, or the idea of Disclosure Day being an organic, natural conclusion to a trilogy of questions about what is out there I’m so excited about it.
Because Chris Nolan has The Odyssey coming out, what is your favorite Chris Nolan?
FARRELL: I just thought Oppenheimer was perfect. I thought everything that Chris Nolan and his folks have… every creative waters and intellectual waters that they’ve swum in before, and sound design and the visual accouterment of film, and the performance and the writing, it all just came together. Like when you see Star Wars, and then it goes like this? That was Oppenheimer. Everything just came together so perfectly.
But I really enjoy The Prestige. That’s the one I go back to, man.
I love The Prestige.
FARRELL: Or The Dark Knight.
[Laughs] Basically, you have three answers.
FARRELL: Gold, silver, and bronze.
Colin Farrell Returns to Gotham City Next Week for ‘The Batman: Part II’
“Matt [Reeves] is just so brilliant, and he just cares so deeply about the stories he tells.”
Before I jump into Sugar, which you’re fantastic in, I definitely have to ask you, coming from Collider, when are you putting on the makeup again and filming a certain sequel?
FARRELL: They start, think, in a week. Is there a plan for you to go over and see?
I would pay someone to let me go do that.
FARRELL: I don’t have the power to charge such an invitation, but it’ll be an amazing set to be on. The script, I’ve said before, and you know, I said it to you, it’s extraordinary. It really is. Matt [Reeves] is just so brilliant, and he just cares so deeply about the stories he tells. I will go fly to London in four or five weeks. I haven’t got much to do on it, but I’ll go for four or five weeks. I’ll be there for a few weeks. I’m so excited to see it as a fan.
I’m over the moon.
FARRELL: I can’t wait.
Colin Farrell Thinks ‘Sugar’s Main Character Would Hate AI
But what would he think of pickleball?
Jumping into Sugar. John Sugar is obsessed with human culture, and I’m curious, of these 2026 Earth things, tell me if Sugar would love them or be completely baffled by them.
FARRELL: Tell me. Lay it on me.
AI-generated movie trailers.
FARRELL: [Laughs] Hate, hate, hate. He loves human beings. He loves the tactility of human beings. He loves how flawed human beings are. That’s kind of one of the things that fascinates him, how broken we are and how, through those fractures and those breaks, we are still capable of decency. So, anything that’s as synthetic as that, no.
Pickleball.
FARRELL: Yeah! Cool. Yeah. Bizarre. His alien antennae are like, “What the fuck?” But yeah, cool.
Trend cycling.
FARRELL: What is it, even?
I looked that up. It’s E-bikes, custom designer bikes…
FARRELL: Oh, yeah. Yeah, I think he’d be cool with that. Anything that he can move through the world with — he loves that car. That car is not something that keeps him away from the world, it’s something that allows him to move through the world with grace.
Driverless robo-taxis.
FARRELL: Hate. Hate.
We’re on the same page.
FARRELL: I mean, I want to throw a Molotov cocktail at every Waymo I see. Well done. Someone’s getting rich, and drivers are going to be out to work. Well done.
What’s funny is people don’t realize what’s going to happen in five years with all the people driving, but we’re off on a tangent. People wearing spatial computing or VR headsets at coffee shops.
FARRELL: [Laughs] I’ve yet to see it myself. Is it happening? Have you seen it? I’m sure it’s happening. Of course.
I’ve seen it a little bit.
FARRELL: Someone in the enthrall of an orgasmic moment at the coffee shop with their latte. Oh my God, I haven’t seen it. He would hate it. He would hate.
Smartwatches that track your exact stress levels and yell at you to breathe.
FARRELL: Uh, like this Oura Ring I have? No interest. Neutral on that one.
Colin Farrell like you’ve never seen him before. Trust us.
How Long Could ‘Sugar’ Go on For?
“Shooting in LA is extraordinary and uncommon.”
Jumping into specifics, for people who were intrigued and loved the sci-fi aspect of Season 1, what do you want to tease them about Season 2 with the mythology?
FARRELL: It’s explored a little bit more. It’s deepened a little bit more through a certain very important personal relationship that Sugar has. But I would love to get four or five seasons out of this.
I was going to actually ask you that.
FARRELL: I would love to get four or five seasons. I can’t get a straight answer out of Apple because they pretty much go season to season, which I get, it’s a business, based on the viewership and all that kind of jazz. So, I don’t know if it’s a month or two months after this would screen on June 19th. It’s probably that. Two months later, we’ll know whether we get a third season or not. But I would love to. And part of the reason why I would love to, I think, is because there’s a really interesting way to further explore the mythology that was introduced in the first season.
You have a new showrunner with Sam [Catlin] coming in for Season 2. Can you talk about what it was like meeting with him at the beginning and the conversations you had in terms of, “This is what I loved about Season 1. This is what I think we could do differently in Season 2?” What were those conversations like, and how much input did you have or want to have in the storyline and the mystery that would happen this season?
FARRELL: Sam wasn’t the showrunner on Season 1, but he became our primary writer on Season 1, as well, and he did an extraordinary job. And yeah, we were kind of, as we said, building a plane mid-flight on that season very much and managed to pull it off, and at least get a second season. So, for him to have time and have a writers’ room, which he did, and bring in writers that he trusted, I trusted him. He broke a story, the story was really exciting, explored some new avenues, and honored what we established in the first season at the same time.
I came in about maybe two months before we started shooting and started having more conversations, and it was a constant work in progress. We weren’t as up against it; we had the scripts. We didn’t really have all the scripts in place when we started the first season, but the second season we did, so it just became an opportunity to modify what we had in a really fun way, and it was great.
I love being part of the creative process. It’s fun for me, man. It’s not to do with ownership. I don’t feel a preconditioned desire to put my stamp on it. I don’t need to touch anything. My ego has no need to change a word, but sometimes things ask to be kept alive in a way that means they’re constantly changing and evolving and growing as you’re shooting them, and that’s okay, too. That’s an interesting sandbox to play in, as well. So yeah, I was up for it.
I just want to commend you guys on filming in LA. It’s so important to the community.
FARRELL: I love it! California, sort it out.
It also adds so much to the show. Can you talk about filming in LA, what it means, and also, how do you decide where the car is going to go because you film in some great places?
FARRELL: It’s magic. The car is a tricky one because evermore they’re trying to stop you from doing things like drive, and they want to put you on a stage with LCD screens, which are really impressive, annoyingly, because they’re always fighting, “Can we just go ahead and drive, and put someone in the passenger seat?” I’m old school, like, “Just put someone with a camera in there.”
But shooting in LA is extraordinary and uncommon. That’s one of the most attractive things about doing the show. I get to be home, get to be with my kids, and it’s a much more interesting city than maybe it gets credit for, Los Angeles. It’s a much more culturally deep and rich city, as well. There’s extraordinary music, extraordinary theater, albeit smaller than in New York or even Chicago, perhaps, but it’s so culturally eclectic. I’ve grown to love LA, and to have it as kind of the foundation upon, the canvas upon which all these stories can happen and these lives from various divergent cultural origins can converge, it’s awesome. I love it.

Taylor Swift’s Studio Session Fuels Wedding Mystery
Taylor Swift may have sparked fresh album rumors with her latest late-night recording session, but insiders claim the superstar is working on something far more personal.
As speculation swirls around her upcoming wedding to Travis Kelce, sources say Swift has been quietly crafting a heartfelt love song dedicated to her fiancé.
With wedding plans reportedly entering the final stretch, the singer’s latest studio visit has fans wondering whether her next release could double as the ultimate wedding gift.

Taylor Swift sent fans into a frenzy this week when she was spotted arriving at New York City’s famed Electric Lady Studios.
Swift reportedly spent nearly ten hours inside Electric Lady Studios, arriving shortly after 8 p.m. Monday and leaving around 6 a.m. Tuesday.
The sighting immediately fueled rumors that the Grammy Award winner was secretly working on her next album. However, according to a source, Swift’s latest project may have nothing to do with a new record cycle.
Instead, the insider claims the pop star has been focused on creating something specifically for Kelce. “Taylor is creating a beautiful love song for her future husband. She has been writing it for the past few weeks, she’s very excited about it,” the source told the Daily Mail.
According to the insider, the track is shaping up to be “a sweet ballad” featuring “a hypnotic chorus.” The song is also expected to offer a glimpse into the private side of the couple’s relationship.
“The lyrics will be about what makes their relationship click and will hint at the special, private moments they have had together,” they added.
Swift Could Debut The Song On Her Wedding Day

The reported plan doesn’t stop with writing and recording the track. Sources claim Taylor Swift may be preparing to unveil the song in a way only she could.
According to the insider, the 36-year-old is considering performing the ballad during her wedding reception before releasing it publicly on the same day.
“It seems like Taylor has been recording the song in New York City as a single to be released on her wedding day, that sounds like a move she’d make, but who knows,” the source explained.
The insider pointed to a similar move made by another music star. According to them, “Blake Shelton released his wedding song for Gwen [Stefani], We Can Reach the Stars, and put it on one of his albums – so it’s been done before.”
Taylor Swift May Have Bigger Plans Than Just One Song

While the wedding track alone would be enough to excite fans, insiders suggest there could be even more music on the horizon.
“There has been talk that she will record an entire wedding album, but that is a lot, who knows,” the source said.
Still, those familiar with Swift’s creative process believe such an ambitious project would not be impossible.
The insider pointed out the star’s fast writing skills as well as her multiple ideas, noting that it would be a piece of cake.
Even so, another source cautioned that details surrounding any music tied to Kelce remain tightly guarded.
They explained, “She’s always writing and recording, but if she were writing a song for Travis, that’s not something she’d share with a lot of people. That’s just not her style.”
Swift And Kelce Continue To Guard Wedding Details

As excitement builds around the pair’s rumored wedding, very little has been officially confirmed.
Reports have suggested that a large celebration could take place at Madison Square Garden on July 3, while other insiders believe a smaller ceremony may happen first at Taylor Swift’s Rhode Island estate.
Some sources have even speculated that the Madison Square Garden rumors could be intentional misdirection designed to keep the real plans hidden.
Despite conflicting reports, insiders insist there is significant anticipation surrounding whatever the couple has planned.
The pair have reportedly gone to extraordinary lengths to keep details under wraps, with sources previously claiming guests were required to sign nondisclosure agreements before receiving information about the event.
As a result, every public appearance and social media sighting has become a source of intense scrutiny.
Taylor Swift Appears Relaxed As Wedding Rumors Intensify

While fans continue searching for clues, sources say Swift herself remains remarkably calm. This week, attention shifted to reports of bachelor and bachelorette celebrations happening on opposite sides of the country.
Travis Kelce was spotted enjoying a night out with friends, including brother Jason, at Bird Streets Club in Los Angeles.
Meanwhile, activity reportedly increased at Swift’s Rhode Island mansion, where heightened security and several guests were observed on the property.
According to reports, Swift’s childhood best friend Abigail Anderson Berard was seen holding a child on one balcony, while four women gathered on a rooftop terrace nearby.
Despite the mounting speculation, insiders insist neither Swift nor Kelce appears overwhelmed by the approaching wedding.
“She doesn’t seem stressed about the wedding or details at all. She’s been relaxed leading up to it and it’s all been business as usual,” a source said.
