Taylor Swift is getting candid about her relationship with her fanbase, and she’s not holding back. The pop superstar admitted that while she appreciates her loyal supporters, there’s a “corner” of Swifties who take things too far, especially when it comes to dissecting her music for clues about her personal life.

In a revealing interview, Swift addressed the intense scrutiny surrounding her lyrics, particularly from fans who treat her songs like real-life puzzles to solve. “There’s corners of my fanbase who are gonna take things to a really extreme place,” she told The New York Times. “There’s nothing I can do about that. There’s people who are gonna try to, like, do detective work, figure out the details – who is that about? What is this?”
She admitted that the speculation can sometimes cross a line. “When it gets a little bit weird for me is when people act like it’s a paternity test. Like, ‘This song’s about that person.’ Because I’m like, ‘That dude didn’t write the song, I did,’” she added.

Despite the intense attention, Swift said she’s learned to separate her work from public perception.
“You have to hold tight to your perception of your art and your relationship with it and then you kind of have to [mimes blowing it out],” she said. “There it goes. Hope you like it. And if you don’t now, hope you do in five years, and if you never do, then I was doing it for me anyway.”

The interview comes as Swift continues to make headlines for her relationship with Travis Kelce. As excitement builds around Swift’s upcoming wedding to Kelce, attention has also turned to who will and won’t make the guest list. That speculation has intensified amid reports of tension between Swift and Blake Lively, as Lively’s ongoing legal battle with Justin Baldoni continues to unfold.
According to a new report, Swift may be viewing the latest developments in the case as a turning point. “It’s a huge relief,” one insider said. “This case just got dramatically weaker. No one understands why Blake isn’t trying to settle. From the outside, it looks like she’s already lost.”
And reportedly, Taylor wants to stop being in the middle of it. “She wants this wrapped up before her summer wedding,” the insider added. “The timing couldn’t be worse.”

Swift is taking steps to safeguard her identity in the age of artificial intelligence. The pop superstar has filed new trademark applications covering two voice clips and one image, a move experts say is aimed at protecting her likeness from AI-generated content.
The filings, submitted to the United States Patent and Trademark Office, underscore growing concerns across the entertainment industry as AI tools become increasingly capable of replicating artists’ voices and appearances, as well as generating realistic music and videos.
The applications add to Swift’s extensive portfolio, with her company, TAS Rights Management, already holding hundreds of trademarks tied to her brand.

Among the most notable elements of the filings are “sound marks,” which aim to protect specific audio tied to Swift’s voice.
One clip features her saying: “Hey, it’s Taylor Swift, and you can listen to my new album, ‘The Life of a Showgirl,’ on demand, on Amazon Music Unlimited.” Another includes, “Hey! It’s Taylor. My brand new album ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ is out on October 3rd, and you can click to pre-save it so you can listen to it on Spotify.”
In addition to the voice recordings, Swift is also moving to protect a recognizable image from her performances, a photo of her on stage holding a pink guitar while wearing a sequined outfit, a look closely associated with her recent “Eras Tour.”
Swift isn’t the only star taking this approach. Actor Matthew McConaughey has also filed similar trademarks to safeguard his voice and image, signaling a broader shift in Hollywood as talent moves to maintain control over how their likeness is used in an AI-driven landscape.
Ellen DeGeneres is reportedly turning to hypnotherapy as she navigates a new phase in her career and personal life with Portia de Rossi.
While some insiders question the approach, the famous comedian is said to view it as a way to restore balance for her.
The update comes as Ellen DeGeneres prepares a return to the “Finding Nemo” franchise and continues adjusting to life after stepping away from her long-running talk show.

According to a source, the former talk show host and her wife have embraced hypnosis as a wellness tool they both trust.
DeGeneres has experimented with it in the past, famously undergoing a session on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” back in 2006 in an effort to quit smoking, and it appears she’s continued to see value in it.
Still, some observers are skeptical about the effectiveness of such treatments, especially given their cost.
“People can’t help but wonder if [Ellen] and Portia are being taken for a ride with this stuff,” one source told a news outlet. “It’s not like you can hypnotize yourself. You have to hire a specialist to come to your home and do this to you, and that isn’t cheap.”

Financially, DeGeneres and her wife are more than equipped to maintain the practice of hypnotherapy, with estimates placing their combined wealth in the hundreds of millions.
Beyond hypnotherapy, they’re also known for investing heavily in home renovation projects, another passion that comes with a hefty price tag.
According to one insider, DeGeneres has been feeling down and sees hypnosis as a way to regain balance and energy.
“Truth is, she’s feeling pretty beat up in life right now and needs a boost, which she believes hypnosis is providing,” an insider told the National Enquirer. “But in this situation, her open-mindedness about dubious techniques like hypnosis could blow up in her face.”
“She’s vulnerable right now, and that creates an opportunity for people to take advantage of her and Portia, unfortunately!” the source added.

Despite these concerns, DeGeneres remains active professionally. She is set to reprise her beloved role as Dory in a new short film from Pixar set in the world of “Finding Nemo.”
While plot details and release plans are still under wraps, the project is already generating interest.
DeGeneres first brought the forgetful blue tang to life in “Finding Nemo,” which won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.
She later reprised the role in “Finding Dory,” a massive box office success that earned over $1 billion globally.
Beyond the films, she has continued voicing Dory across various Disney projects, including theme park attractions and short-form content.

DeGeneres’s latest project marks her first acting role since the 2021 mini-series “Pixar Popcorn,” where she once again voiced Dory. That same year, she also made an appearance as herself in Kevin Hart’s “True Story.”
Since wrapping “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in 2022, DeGeneres has been open about stepping away from the spotlight, particularly after controversy surrounding allegations of a toxic workplace. She addressed the situation directly in her 2024 Netflix special, “Ellen DeGeneres: For Your Approval.”
In the set, she used humor to reflect on her time away from Hollywood, joking about taking up gardening and raising chickens before quipping that she had essentially been “kicked out of show business.” She also poked fun at the backlash she received, referencing headlines that questioned her public “be kind” persona.
“The Be Kind Girl wasn’t kind.’ That was the headline,” she said, per E! News. “Here’s the problem: I’m a comedian who got a talk show, and I ended the show every day by saying, ‘Be kind to one another.’ Had I ended my show by saying, ‘Go f-ck yourselves,’ people would have been pleasantly surprised to find out I’m kind.”

Before releasing her 2024 comedy special, “Ellen DeGeneres: For Your Approval,” DeGeneres suggested it could be her final on-screen appearance.
During a July 2024 show in California, she told fans they likely wouldn’t see her again after the special. That same year, she relocated to the U.K. with her wife, Portia de Rossi.
In July 2025, DeGeneres revealed that their move was influenced by Donald Trump’s election to a second term, recalling how they decided to stay in the U.K. after hearing the news.
“We got here the day before the election and woke up to lots of texts from our friends with crying emojis, and I was like, ‘He got in.’ And we’re like, ‘We’re staying here,’” she said.
Her return to the “Finding Nemo” universe comes months after she briefly came back to the U.S. In February, it was reported that she and de Rossi purchased a new home in California following their earlier move abroad.
However, according to People Magazine, sources say the couple doesn’t plan to fully resettle, instead dividing their time between the U.K. and Montecito.
Blake Lively’s beverage brand Betty Buzz is said to have quietly shut down in 2025, without a public announcement from the actress. The company is known for its premium sparkling mixers made with real juice and no artificial additives.
According to reports, Betty Buzz reportedly closed due to profitability issues, not her ongoing feud with Justin Baldoni.
Newly surfaced reports claim Lively’s Betty Buzz had already run into serious trouble before its quiet shutdown in 2025.
The brand, a sister line to Betty Booze, initially showed strong momentum and even appeared poised to dominate the premium mixer space. Court documents shared in a Reddit thread alleged that the company had sold more than five million bottles in its first year. It also landed high-profile partnerships with British Airways and restaurant chain Yard House.
However, those same filings reveal internal concerns began surfacing much earlier. During a 2024 meeting, management reportedly questioned the brand’s long-term profitability and sustainability, even floating the possibility of shutting it down altogether.
By 2025, that scenario had become reality. The documents make clear the decision was driven by business fundamentals, not any claims of “online manipulation” tied to outside controversies.
Despite reports that Betty Buzz has been shut down, Lively has not publicly distanced herself from the brand.
The actress launched the non-alcoholic mixer line in 2021, marketing it as a low-calorie option made with clean ingredients. She remained closely tied to its promotion over the years, plugging it in ad campaigns and interviews. It was the same case during the press run for “It Ends with Us,” the film she starred in alongside Baldoni, amid their ongoing legal dispute.
Even now, there are still visible signs of that association. Lively’s Instagram bio continues to feature Betty Buzz alongside her other ventures, Betty Booze and Blake Brown Beauty. The brand’s social media page also remains active, although links to purchase the drinks appear to no longer work, suggesting operations have indeed come to a halt.

The reported shutdown of Lively’s Betty Buzz has set off a wave of reactions online, particularly after court documents began circulating on Reddit.
Some critics argued Lively should update her Instagram bio instead of continuing to list the now-defunct company among her ventures. Others said they were surprised by the brand’s collapse, pointing to its name as a potential misstep.
“Why would you name a non-alcoholic drink/mixer ‘Betty Buzz?’ So you will piss off people who buy it thinking it has booze, and people looking for something without booze won’t even buy it,” one user wrote.
Pricing also became a recurring complaint, with several commenters claiming the mixers were too expensive to sustain repeat purchases.

Despite court reports linking the shutdown of the company to profitability issues, Lively has seemed to present a front that the failure of the business was due to her feud with Baldoni. She claimed in court documents that the alleged smear campaign by her co-star cost her nearly $300 million in lost profits and opportunities, per Page Six.
The court filings estimate direct reputational damage between $36.5 million and $40.5 million, with an additional $24.3 million linked to public statements made during the feud. Meanwhile, projected lost income ranges from $34.3 million to $87.8 million due to missed film and TV roles.
Lively also specified that her businesses, including Betty Booze and Blake Brown, reportedly lost between $39.6 million and $143.5 million.

Lively and Baldoni are set to face off in court in May as their legal dispute continues to escalate.
The feud dates back to December 2024, when Lively first filed a complaint with the California Civil Rights Department against the film director. She later followed up with a lawsuit, bringing 13 claims, including defamation and harassment.
Earlier this year, a court-ordered settlement meeting failed to produce an agreement. However, a judge dismissed ten of Lively’s 13 claims in April, leaving only breach of contract, retaliation, and aiding and abetting retaliation to proceed.
With the trial now set for May, both Lively and Baldoni are expected to testify as the high-profile row plays out in court.

Movies are rarely filmed in chronological order, and television shows, especially during their first season, aren’t produced in the order they end up airing. Babylon 5 was carefully plotted from the very beginning by creator J. Michael Straczynski, but the fourth episode, “Infection,” was the first to be filmed.
Knowing that this was the first time Michael O’Hare was playing Jeffrey Sinclair adds more weight and meaning to his answer to a critical question. It’s the same question NASA administrators and space entrepreneurs like Elon Musk are currently grappling with. Is it worth the effort for humanity to remain in space when we have problems of our own back home?

Sinclair’s sit-down with the Interstellar News Network (ISN) reporter Mary Cramer comes at the end of the episode. Without missing a beat, Sinclair responds to the reporter’s question with a quote that helped to sum up the importance of Babylon 5, the station, and the series:
“No. We have to stay here. And there’s a simple reason why. Ask ten different scientists about the environment, population control, genetics, and you’ll get ten different answers, but there’s one thing every scientist on the planet agrees on. Whether it happens in a hundred years or a thousand years or a million years, eventually our Sun will grow cold and go out. When that happens, it won’t just take us. It’ll take Marilyn Monroe, and Lao-Tzu, and Einstein, and Morobuto, and Buddy Holly, and Aristophanes, and – all of this – all of this – was for nothing. Unless we go to the stars. “
It’s a powerful statement. Humanity’s destiny among the stars is a common sentiment in science fiction, but it’s rarely stated so plainly and openly that yes, one day Earth will cease to be. Prior to making the statement, Sinclair was confronted by Chief of Security Garibaldi (Jerry Doyle) over yet another incident where the station commander put his life directly in danger. According to the concerned Chief, shutting down a biological weapon was the third time, this year alone, that Sinclair put himself in harm’s way on purpose.

Instead of talking about how Sinclair is a commander who belongs on the front lines, or that’s what heroes are supposed to do, Garibaldi cuts right to the heart of the issue. Sinclair is still reeling from what he did during the war with the Minbari, and Garibaldi, who knows his old comrade, grills him about soldiers coming back from the war without a purpose, without anything to live for. All of a sudden, with that one observation, Sinclair’s actions from previous episodes are seen in a new light. From confronting the crime boss to find a Centauri dancer, to earlier in “Infected,” when he’s battling a bio-organic weapon in the pursuit of racial purity, was he putting himself in danger because he wanted to die in service to his position?
As the very first Babylon 5 episode to be filmed, Michael O’Hare had to dig deep into what makes Sinclair tick from the beginning, before he filmed those other action scenes, even before he solved the assassination attempt on Ambassador Kosh. It was unintentional. “Infection” came first because it was the simplest of the initial season to film, but it helped ground the cast and give everyone a chance to dig into their characters. Even Ivanova (Claudia Christian) gets a great moment when she stops the reporter from pursuing Sinclair for an interview with the warning, “You’re too young to experience that much pain.”

The main plot of “Infection,” about an alien artifact that turns out to be a bio-weapon designed to kill all impure Ikarrans, is standard “case of the week” fare bolstered by the inclusion of David McCallum (Ducky from NCIS and thousands of other roles) as a former teacher to the station’s Medical Officer, Dr. Franklin (Richard Briggs). It’s not a bad episode, but it’s Sinclair coming out of his shell to express his honest opinion, thanks to the support of Garibaldi, that is the true highlight of the episode. It’s also an early look at how Babylon 5 would go on to set itself apart from other sci-fi of the 90s by not side-stepping the hard questions and respecting the viewer’s intelligence.
Carrie Underwood is sharing the good, the bad and the ugly of life on a farm.
“My goal is to just do as much as I can myself,” Underwood, 43, exclusively told Us Weekly at American Idol’s Taylor Swift night on Monday, April 27. “I love it. It’s a challenge, and it’s frustrating, and it’s exciting, and it’s rewarding, and just all the things.”
The “Before He Cheats” singer moved to a 400-acre farm in 2019 with husband Mike Fisher and their two sons, Isaiah, 11, and Jacob, 7.
Underwood told Us that her life as an American Idol judge and country star is the “polar opposite” of her life on the farm.
“I go home, and I had to have talks with my family at one point, because I was like, ‘OK, when I’m away, I’m like, Cinderella at the ball.’ I’m a princess, and it’s great,” she explained. “And then I come home, and I’m like, covered in dirt. I’m covered in poop. It’s just the polar opposite. I’m like, cleaning up after everybody and barefoot in the kitchen. But I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
Underwood, who rose to fame after winning Idol in 2005 and returned to the show as a judge last year, has shared frequent updates on farm life via social media, often sharing photos of her family’s animals and veggies from her garden.
“Pardon my sweatpants, but I had to show off these tromboncino squash! I’ve got 5 of these babies! Woo hoo! We’ll be eating these all winter!” Underwood captioned photos of two large squashes in November 2025.
In a May 2025 post, Underwood shared photos of a newborn goat.

“Surprise! We’ve got another new life around the farm!” she wrote. “This little guy happened to be born on the day of the @americanidol finale, so we figured it would only be right if we named him Jamal!!! ☺️ Mama and Baby J are doing well … and I’m popping by the barn to get snuggles every chance I get! Welcome to the world, little dude!” (Jamal Roberts won season 23 of American Idol.)
Earlier this week, Underwood made headlines for sharing that she feels confident she would be able to live off the grid on her farm.
“I think if I had to, I could be self-sustained at home. I love growing things,” the reality star told Fox News Digital. “If I had all the time in the world, I would … not really need to go to the grocery store for too much. But it’s a lot of fun. You know, I love our chickens. We have cows, we have sheep, we have donkeys. We have horses. I have my garden, and it’s a great way to connect with the earth. That’s my contribution to the family.”
Underwood, along with fellow judges Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan and guest judge Nikki Glaser, watched the Top 7 contestants perform songs by Swift, 36, and songs by artists from California during Monday night’s episode.
The episode concluded with two contestants being voted off: Maryland native Brooks Rosser and Mississippi music teacher Daniel Stallworth.
Contestants Chris Tungseth, Hannah Harper, Braden Rumfelt, Keyla Richardson and Jordan McCullough remain, vying for the title of American Idol season 24 winner.
With only one episode before the finale, the vote for the next Idol is in America’s hands.
“I’m feeling so grateful and overwhelmed in a lot of ways,” Tungseth, 27, told Us on Monday night. “I mean, so much love, and like, my community back home, and just everyone obviously has voted. It’s America’s vote. So to be in this position, all of us, we’re blown away. But also, the relationships like Brooks and Daniel. They’re just the sweetest people ever. And you hear them talking, you just smile, you know? I’m so grateful and so devastated at the same time.”
Rumfelt, 23, added of the eliminations, “It’s definitely bittersweet because saying goodbye, but knowing that we’ll see them again, and knowing that they’re so talented. They’re getting kind of, like, a headstart on what they’re going to do [for] their career for the rest of their life. I was talking to Brooks earlier, and he was down on himself. He was like, ‘I don’t know if I did well.’ And I was like, ‘Listen, dude, you better get used to atmospheres like this, because you’re going to be doing it forever, and I believe that. I 100 percent believe that.”
American Idol’s season 24 finale airs May 11 on ABC at 8 p.m.

EW catches up with the former employees of the Sunshine Cab Company.
The 90 Day Fiance Tell All was filled with surprises and Emma Perry‘s twin sister didn’t hesitate to throw her under the bus. Laura Nevenner opens up about what happened between her and former BFF Michal when they left Turkey together. Trisha reveals she’s pregnant, but Rick Van Vactor is NOT the father. Lisa claims she was tricked by Daniel Tito Herrera and cursed by a Nigerian priest. Buckle up and let’s check out all the drama in this recap of Season 8, Episode 20, Tell All Part 1.
On 90 Day Fiance, Emma Perry had nothing but contempt for Ziad El Yahyaoui accusing him of cheating shortly before she arrived in Morocco. But it turns out Emma was no angel either. And it was her twin sister Izzi Perry who divulged that Emma was still dating and hooking up mere weeks before she jetted to Morocco. Ziad went as far as to call her “demon Emma” but it got even worse than that as the former couple traded jabs.
Emma Perry arrived to the Tell All with enthusiasm and even flirted with a random man on the street who actually was also Moroccan. She was playful with cast mate Elise Benson and they had fun feeling each other up and comparing boob size. Later Emma flirted with Forrest. Flustered, he told Sheena and she wasn’t happy about it. But Emma assured her it was all in fun. Ziad El Yahyaoui is there via video monitor so he doesn’t hold back on being a real jerk to everyone.
He says Emma Perry is fake. And denies sleeping with her. Emma gives details about their encounter. Leading Elise Benson and some others to accuse him of using his muslim religion to avoid telling the truth. Rick Van Vactor calls him a “fake muslim”. And Ziad retaliates calling him a fake father on 90 Day Fiance. Rick erupts. And Ziad continues to insult, questioning if Elise Benson is a girl and telling Emma to wash her wig because it stinks.

Before the 90 Days couple Laura Nevenner and Birkan are still together. He upgraded the red string to an engagement ring. Laura flashes the ring and is excited about the possibility of Birkan moving to America. He appears via video. Laura admits she recently returned to Turkey and the pair enjoyed time on holiday. Laura retrieves an envelope containing an update on Birkan’s K-1 visa much to his surprise.
However, it’s just a continuation notice for an appointment. So not a yes or a no. Host Shaun Robinson quickly moves on to the subject of Laura’s friendship with Michal. And Laura Nevenner admits they aren’t really speaking. But he did ask her to remove her kayak and other things from his house. Apparently things got tense the last few days in Turkey. And Michal alleges that she told him in a nasty way that he was on his own when he sought to get his flight upgraded like she did.
On 90 Day Fiance, Michal joins the Tell All stage. And the tension is thick between the two former besties. Laura is snippy. And Michal reiterates that he isn’t into Laura in a romantic way. Birkan chimes in at times, revealing he paid off the fifty grand in debt by winning a jackpot in Cyprus for that exact amount. He also admits he’s living with his family in an apartment he actually owns. This is news to Laura Nevenner. And Michal suggests Birkan and Laura won’t make it in the long run.
Jovon Fox and Annalyn Fox appear together via video from the Philippines on 90 Day Fiance. It seems Jovon has relocated there to be with Annalyn who doesn’t want to leave her mom. The couple sadly admit they lost the pregnancy that was revealed at the end of the season. But Jovon admits Annalyn is home to him and he’s happy to be there with her. Of course, host Shaun does a flash back to some rockier times for the married couple.
Annalyn accused Jovon of listening to podcasts that celebrate a toxic masculinity. Jovon admits he thought that women in the Philippines were more submissive. He didn’t expect Annalyn’s fiery side. He goes as far as to say had he seen that side earlier he may have questioned things. But in the end the pair worked on the relationship issues and are even planning on couples counseling in the near future.
The breakout couple of an otherwise boring 90 Day Fiance season, Lisa and Daniel continue to bring the drama. Lisa famously dumped him on the phone at the end of the season. But admits they reconciled for 4 or 5 weeks. Daniel drops the bomb that they are actually married. Lisa, who is wig free and sporting crazy blue colored contacts maintains she was tricked by Daniel and the priest who claimed it was just a cleansing. Backstage Lisa’s daughter Faith can’t wait to take her shot at Daniel.
Faith storms on to the stage and doesn’t hold back in her criticism of Daniel. Lisa sobs revealing a curse by the Nigerian priest left her hospitalized and near death after breaking it off with Daniel. He seems to find it funny, infuriating Faith even more. So, the Tell All wraps with more to come on Daniel and Lisa as well as all the other couples.
Some other highlights include Lisa confronting Elise to tell her she doesn’t like her and considers her a “black widow”. Claiming Elise’s beauty and confidence make her shrink. Josh Lawson grabbing a bag of popcorn to snack on during the Tell All brought comic relief. And Laura Nevenner considers Birkan vanilla to her spice in bed. Leading Birkan to even joke about it later. And Elise Benson reveals Emma admitted to hooking up with Rob Warne. Till next time!
The net is still in shambles amid the latest fallout between Joseline Hernandez and Lemuel Plummer, as fans continue trying to piece together what may be behind the drama. Following Joseline’s emotional post, she returned online with a video where she continued making accusations against Lemuel. In the video, Joseline alleged that Lemuel has been abusive toward women, mentioning his current girlfriend, Scotlynd Ryan, his ex Janeisha John and other women involved with Zeus Network. She also accused him of coming for her during her pregnancy and made additional claims regarding matters tied to his business. Since Joseline’s claims, Lemuel has stepped in to share his side of the story as Scotty and Janeisha shared statements of their own.
As mentioned, Scotty entered the conversation with a message of her own. Sharing a glimpse of her baby girl in the background photo, she shut down claims that Lemuel ever harmed her while emphasizing that she is focused on motherhood, healing postpartum, and being left out of the ongoing drama.
She wrote, “I want to address something because I’m truly tired of this false narrative being spread. A lie was told, and too many people chose to run with it. Let me be clear, Lemuel Plummer has never harmed me during my pregnancy or before. Domestic violence is a very serious matter, and many people truly suffer through it. I is somethipinkng I would never ever joke about or allow to be falsely put on my name. I’m currently navigating postpartum and everything that comes with it, and I would genuinely appreciate being left out of this situation. I am home focusing on healing and raising our daughter. Please stop spreading lies, stop involving me in harmful stories, and respect me enough to honor my truth. This is sad and unnecessary.”
Amid all the drama, Janeisha John, who had previously dated Lemuel Plummer, took to her X account to address narratives about her life. Joseline previously alleged that Lemuel used to beat her up. John wrote, “I’m an extremely PRIVATE person and I don’t share my personal life with others. So anyone speaking on me or making claims about my life is NOT speaking from any real truth or direct conversation with me. Please don’t put narratives on my name.”
Lemuel Plummer took to his platform with another statement following Joseline Hernandez’s latest video. In his response, the Zeus CEO firmly denied allegations involving abuse, trafficking, criminal ties, and violent wrongdoing. He also dismissed comparisons to Diddy. According to Lemuel, the accusations are being pushed by a small group of disgruntled former associates.
He wrote, “No, I have not abused or harmed Scotty or Janeisha. No, I do not have ties to any mob or religious group in Israel or anywhere else. My father is a Detroit pastor and Christian TV broadcaster… a Bishop in COGIC (Church of God in Christ), a historic Black church denomination under Bishop J. Drew Sheard’s leadership. COGIC has many jurisdictions, and my father works within that structure. No, I do not traffic girls.
No dead body was ever outside or near Zeus headquarters. No, neither I nor Zeus have ever been involved in murder, putting a hit on anyone, or homicide to any degree… ever. Do not believe those lies and theories. No, I’m not ‘Diddy Jr.’ I’m me.
And the narrative that ‘everyone’ is saying these things is simply not true. It’s the same five or so disgruntled people (including Joseline) out of the hundreds who have worked with Zeus, the vast majority of whom actually care about me and have never said anything negative. These same few people got upset in a moment, said things, then came back around to work with me and the company… let’s be for real. If anything, I’ve been too generous, patient, and forgiving of that behavior and still allowed them to work with me.”
He went on to make clear that he refuses to be intimidated or extorted, adding that his previous statements were simply reminders to Joseline about her contractual agreement with Zeus.
Folks stepped into The Shade Room Teens as they tried to keep up with the Zeus drama. Many weighed in on the allegations. Some debated who was telling the truth. Others argued that neither Joseline nor Lemuel are innocent.

If you need convincing that Henry Cavill should play James Bond following Daniel Craig‘s departure in the 2021 film, No Time to Die, then this latest streaming hit is for you. Over the weekend, this spy action comedy returned to the streaming charts. And while it didn’t perform well at the box office, it still resonates with audiences, even to this day.
Cavill is one of many contenders to become the next 007, along with Riz Ahmed, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Idris Elba, to name a few. Cavill’s career began in 2001, and while he’s known for his role as Superman in the DCU, he also appeared in other hit projects like The Witcher, Enola Holmes, and a short cameo role in Deadpool & Wolverine. The actor is working on a handful of other projects, most notably the live-action adaptation of Voltron, the Amazon Warhammer series, and John Wick director Chad Stahelski‘s Highlander remake. It has yet to be announced who will be the next James Bond, and fans were turning in to this 2024 film, which could remind people why Cavill is perfect for the role.
Over the weekend, the 2024 film Argylle returned to the Apple TV streaming charts, sitting at #8 between Fountain of Youth and The Family Plan. Directed by the Kingsman franchise’s Matthew Vaughn, the feature included a star-studded cast, including Bryan Cranston, Catherine O’Hara, Dua Lipa, John Cena, and Samuel L. Jackson. Argylle stars Bryce Dallas Howard as Elly Conway, an author known for her spy novels. But her writing caught the attention of an organization called The Division because her books are so accurate to real-life events. Despite its recent streaming success, Argylle didn’t perform well at the box office. With a reported budget of $200 million, the film only generated $96.2 million worldwide.
Despite its poor box office performance, Argylle received mixed reviews from fans and critics alike. On Rotten Tomatoes, Argylle earned a critics’ score of 33% while audiences gave it 70%. Meanwhile, Argylle received a CinemaScore of C+ and a low Letterboxd score of 2.3 stars. According to critics like CBR, Vaughn has “embraced the childish glee” of various spy-movie tropes, but his other works are better when compared to Argylle. Others, like ScreenRant, claimed the movie was a “fun spoof on the spy genre,” but criticized the amount of plot twists. Collider’s Maggie Lovitt reviewed Argylle, giving it a score of 8/10. She described Argylle as a “fun movie,” praised Cavill’s performance as the fictional spy, and said the film had “smart execution,” but noted it had “questionable CGI.”
Argylle is available to stream on Apple TV. Follow Collider for more updates.

Country icon Reba McEntire is speaking out after the heartbreaking loss of one of her “The Voice” mentees, and her tribute is hitting fans right in the emotions. The music world is reeling after the sudden and tragic death of Dylan Carter, a rising country singer who appeared on “The Voice.” The 24-year-old died following a devastating car crash in his home state of South Carolina. Authorities confirmed Carter succumbed to blunt force injuries sustained in the accident, which occurred late Saturday night.

According to officials, Carter was driving his 2026 Tesla sedan southbound on U.S. 21, known locally as Lowcountry Highway, when he veered off the road around 11:22 p.m. near the town of Smoaks. Police say the vehicle jumped a curb before crashing into a utility pole and fence, ultimately flipping over.
Carter, who was wearing a seatbelt and was the only person in the vehicle, was discovered by emergency responders and rushed to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries. Authorities have ruled the crash accidental.
Carter’s vehicle reportedly did not catch fire following the crash, a detail in contrast to other high-profile wrecks involving Tesla vehicles.
The young artist had been scheduled to perform at the “Music on Main” festival in Moncks Corner on Monday night. Following news of his passing, the event was canceled.

Tributes quickly poured in from across the music community, led by Carter’s former mentor, Reba McEntire. “We will miss Dylan so much,” she wrote.
McEntire, who worked closely with Carter during his time on the show, described him as ‘a brilliant, kind and talented young man who brought a huge ray of sunshine to ‘The Voice’.” She added, “Rest in peace, my dear friend.”
The NBC competition series also released a statement honoring Carter’s memory. “‘The Voice’ family is deeply saddened by the passing of Dylan Carter, a remarkable talent whose joy and light were felt by those around him on set,” they wrote. “Our condolences are with his family, friends and community. He will be missed.”

As tributes continue to pour in, a spokesperson for The Local Voice is shedding more light on the impact Dylan Carter had beyond the stage. Speaking with the Daily Mail, the rep shared that Carter “used his voice as a way to reach people and give back,” adding that he had a “genuine heart for helping others and bringing people together,” which is “what he was most proud of.”
According to the organization, Carter had also been planning to take part in upcoming charity events, a mission they now plan to continue in his honor, noting they will “honor and carry his mission forward.”
The statement turned emotional as the spokesperson acknowledged the deep grief surrounding his loss. “His family and friends are grieving this unimaginable loss, and we ask for continued prayers and respect for their privacy,” the rep said. “We find comfort knowing he is in Heaven hugging his Mama.”
Carter’s mother, Julie, died in 2022, just one year before he appeared on “The Voice.”

Fans also took to X to share their grief and reflect on Dylan Carter’s life, with many expressing shock over the young singer’s sudden passing.
“I’m glad he pursued his passion and won. He climbed a mountain that few succeed at and got the realizations of his life. In my heart, I know he is ok, and thankful for the blessings that allowed him to get all the way up that mountain. He touched millions and will remain in our hearts,” one user wrote.
“Gone at 24 with so much talent and life ahead. This one hurts. RIP Dylan Carter,” another post read. Others focused on his age and the tragedy of losing someone so young. “That is really tragic. 24 is a young age. I’m sending his family, friends, and the entire Moncks Corner community my love and support. May his memories and songs endure, and may his soul rest in peace,” one person shared.
Porsha Williams announced her exit from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” in 2021. Of course, she’s since returned to the show, but there’s been an ongoing narrative that she left to avoid speaking about her marriage to Simon Guobadia. Now, years later, the “RHOA” star is dispelling that rumor, saying she’d already planned to leave the show.

Williams appeared on Carlos King’s “Reality With The King” podcast on April 28. While on the show, the famed reality television producer mentioned that she’d not only left “RHOA” amid her marriage to Guobadia, but also given up other jobs, including hosting “Dish Nation.”
That led her to say, “For the record, I left ‘Housewives’ for that break when I was around 40.” She went on to say that she “had planned for that financially, mentally, everything.” From there, Williams noted that this was after she’d had her daughter and that she wanted to “experience real life in real time outside of the cameras.”
The “RHOA” star continued, “I knew I was going to give myself that time to step away. I had financially prepared for that,” before noting that the show pays a substantial amount, meaning she had to prepare to not have that income.

Williams continued this line of conversation, discussing meeting Guobadia after having already decided to leave “RHOA.” According to her, “Then I met Simon, and at that point I was working at Dish Nation, and I was traveling with him and all that.”
She then explained that Guobadia wanted her to be with him more often. Because of this, he decided to “supplement that income.” Williams went on, “So that’s how that happened. I did not leave ‘Housewives’ because I got married. It was planned.”
Regarding the persistent rumors about her departure, she said, “Yeah, I don’t understand that. I’ve dealt with worse questions on ‘Housewives,’” before noting that she wouldn’t have returned for season 16 if that had been the case.
Later, Williams claimed she let Bravo know she wasn’t returning before the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” season 13 reunion.

King first teased that he’d be interviewing Williams with a clip from the hour-plus conversation on April 27. Because of this, the conversation between the two longtime friends was highly anticipated, and many are now reacting online.
One person on YouTube said, “Porsha has evolved egregiously throughout her time on RHOA.” Another “RHOA” fan wrote, “This is the most authentic, hilarious, and enjoyable video you have done, Carlos! Porsha has an indomitable spirit! She has triumphed over the hatred spewed at her by jealous haters, and she continues to and always will survive and succeed in her ambitions!”
Someone else said, “Whenever I see Porsha talking, I always feel like she should preach; she actually always has a word of encouragement.”
Lastly, a different fan stated, “This interview was so good. One of the reasons I’m a fan of Porsha is her ability to live in her truth. I love people who are authentically themselves and live life on their own terms, no matter how others may feel. Life is short, why spend it worrying about what others think when the majority of folks can’t figure their own lives out.”

Season 17 of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” premiered in April 2026. Since then, fans have raved, saying that while not the glory days, it represents a return to form. Ahead of the show’s return, she spoke to US Weekly, teasing a “lighter” season compared to some of the past few.
According to Williams, “This was not a dark season. It probably could have gone there, but it just wasn’t. We all want to be friends, and we’re grown.” Regarding her mindset ahead of season 17, she revealed, “I just wanted a clean slate, and I wanted to have a good time. I wanted to be open to new friendships… and have this season feel like a breath of fresh air.”
It’s worth noting that Williams was going through her divorce from Guobadia amid filming for the new season. When asked who she leaned on from the cast, the mom of one said, “Phaedra [Parks ]and I have a very trusting friendship. So do Cynthia [Bailey] and I. I know she probably misses some of the OGs. I always look for her and Phaedra —we have our little camaraderie of doing this for so long.”

Williams’ divorce from Guobadia was finalized in June 2025. Months later, the “RHOA” star revealed she was dating two people, a man and a woman. However, time passed, and she then confirmed her relationship with Patrice “Sway” McKinney.
She spoke about their relationship in her US Weekly interview, stating, “You just know when you know. I felt comfortable. I felt led more toward her and our relationship and what we were building.”
“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” airs on Bravo Sunday nights.
