Euphoria‘s Colman Domingo reflected on finding success in his career — without his parents still here to see it.

In Us Weekly’s exclusive clip from the Tuesday, June 9, episode of Fox’s Bear Grylls Is Running Wild, Domingo opens up about not having his mother and father around to support him.

“I literally got emotional [but] I do think that they live with you,” Domingo says. “And you do it for them too. I do know that they’re flying with me — at all times.”

The actor knew his mother and stepfather — both of whom died in 2006 — were proud of him.

“Especially moments like this. I mean, I come from inner city West Philadelphia. So to come here, I never want to take this for for granted,” Domingo continues. “And I appreciate it and I’m like, ‘Mom, look at where this light continues. Look at where love can take you.’”

He continued: “I’m gonna leave it to spirit. I want to leave it but I know that my parents are right there with me. So I want to trust what this is.”

Bear Grylls Is Running Wild follows legendary adventurer Bear Grylls as he takes celebrities into the wild for a 48-hour journey of a lifetime.

In addition to Domingo, the newest season featured Michelle Monaghan, Matthew McConaughey, Uma Thurman, Elizabeth Banks, Rhys Darby, Tiffany Haddish and Machine Gun Kelly.

“It’s different [from] a chat show, where you sit on the sofa, and there’s a performance for three minutes to tell a funny story,” Grylls told Fox and Friends in April. “Nature does my job for me. Like I said, it opens people up. I think a lot of these stars — they want the experience of what the wild can give you.”

If you’re of a certain age, you’ve lived through multiple generations of entertainment media. Given the current state of physical media, people have finally had enough and are refusing to let go of Blu-Rays. Before Blu-Rays, before DVD, there was VHS. It revolutionized movies when it arrived, but left with a whimper. VHS hung around longer than you think, since the last movie on VHS was the understated and underrated 2005 release, A History of Violence. 21 years later, and the film is tearing up the HBO Max charts since it arrived. 

A History Of Violence Has A History Of Success

March 14, 2006, is the day that A History of Violence was released on VHS. Nearly a year after its May 2005 debut in theaters. A slow burn of an action thriller about a man trying to escape his past, and the damage it does to his family, is an unlikely release during the start of the Summer blockbuster season, but Warner Bros (via New Line Media) had faith in the film. $61 million dollars at the box office later, and that faith was rewarded. 

A History of Violence adapts the Vertigo DC graphic novel by John Wagner and Vince Locke, making it the unlikeliest DC movie. Viggio Mortenson, fresh off Lord of the Rings, plays Tom Stack, the mild-mannered diner owner whose life is turned upside down when two men from Philly enter his diner. Maria Bello is his loving wife, Edie, and together, they have two children, Jack and Sarah. It’s an idyllic life. Until it’s not. 

The Best Bad Ass Dad Movie Of All Time

Unlike later films in the “suburban dad is secretly a badass” genre, A History of Violence doesn’t glorify the violence. The action is short, brutish, and bloody, with the real harm being done in what comes after a man is shot … or stabbed. It’s an intelligent, thought-provoking take on the action genre lost in the noise of Nobody 2, Liam Neeson, and countless other imitators. 

The thoughtfulness and intention behind every shot is clear once you realize the director is David Cronenberg. The Master of Body Horror and Viggo Mortenson would continue to work together four more times, including 2007’s Eastern Promises, an even more violent and extreme film. 

The End Of An Era

A History of Violence on VHS is now a collector’s item, with sealed copies going for upwards of $500 on eBay. Other films, including Cars, were released after, but only as part of special, limited-release promotions, and not the wide, dump it in a Wal-Mart scale of Cronenberg’s hit. As for why it was the last film, it came down to timing. Distribution deals were inked years earlier when VHS was obviously on the way out, but still in a majority of homes, before DVD players became commonplace. Sometimes, it’s really that simple. 

Since debuting, re-debuting actually, on HBO Max, A History of Violence has been in the top 10, reaching, as of the time of this writing, the top five. It’s well deserved for one of the best movies of the 2000’s and a career highlight for all involved. If you’re bored of the schlub dad turns out to be an assassin genre, you need to watch this movie and fall in love with the genre all over again.

Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino are set for another reunion, this time for the sequel to the 1997 cult comedy movie “Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion,” in which the two actresses played the titular characters.

Fans have been waiting for years for an official announcement about the sequel, and now, it has been confirmed that Kudrow and Sorvino, along with returning cast members and new additions, are currently in production.

The Movie Became A Cult Classic

“Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion” follows best friends Romy (Sorvino) and Michele (Kudrow), who return to their hometown for their 10-year high school reunion, determined to reinvent themselves and impress their former classmates.

The movie was released in April 1997 and was a modest success, earning about $30 million on a $20 million budget. Despite not being a major theatrical hit, the film has amassed a strong cult following due to home video and cable reruns since its release.

It also features some of the most iconic scenes, including Romy and Michele’s interpretive dance with Sandy Fink (Cumming) to the tune of Cyndi Lauper’s “Time After Time.” Another memorable scene features Clarence the Cowboy, played by a then-unknown Justin Theroux, a chain-smoking cowboy who stays mostly silent throughout the film before delivering a hilarious line at the reunion.

Lisa Kudrow Said The Sequel’s Script Made Her Laugh

In 2024, Kudrow told ComicBook that she had read the script for the sequel but didn’t share other details about the project. “I actually have read a script, but we’ll see — nothing’s decided,” Kudrow said, adding that she hoped the sequel would proceed and that she liked the script.

In March, Collider asked the “Friends” alum about “Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion,” and while the actress seemed hesitant to divulge details, as there was still no confirmation about the movie getting done, she said, “It’s looking good… I’ve read a script. I laughed out loud, like five or six times, which is huge, or more than that even.”

Robin Schiff, known as the writer for “Emily in Paris” and “Grosse Pointe,” wrote the screenplay for the first “Romy and Michele” movie and the sequel.

The Movie Stemmed From Minor Characters In A Play

In an appearance on Drew Barrymore’s talk show in January 2025, Kudrow discussed the origins of the cult comedy, revealing that Romy and Michele were actually minor characters in the 1988 play “Ladies’ Room,” written by Schiff.

Kudrow auditioned for the role of “Airhead No. 2,” which became Michelle, and Christie Mellor portrayed Romy. “We were these minor characters. We were on stage a total of seven minutes, in and out, for the whole play,” Kudrow told Barrymore. Later, the characters were developed for a TV pilot that didn’t take off. With tweaks to the script, it was greenlit as a movie.

The “Romy and Michele” sequel will go straight to streaming on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ and is expected to be released sometime in 2027.

Soon after, Ye, as he is fondly called, came into the scene after his wife was done milking. He then proceeded to pour it down Censori’s mouth as some of it spilled down her chest and to the floor.

The Yeezy founder was also dressed in an all-white ensemble of leather blazers and pants with matching Timberland boots.

The clip has since garnered over 300,000 views in less than 24 hours, but not many of the reactions are positive so far.

Many fans raised concerns about the boundaries Ye and his wife are willing to push, wondering why the rapper continues to proudly promote his wife’s nudity.

“He sees Bianca Censori as a s-x slave or s-x object. I doubt if he regards her,” one fan wrote, while another shared the blame equally, writing, “Bianca directing this means they are both completely unhinged.”

Another online viewer suggested, “Seems like they have a master slave relationship. His wife probably gets a kick out of being dominated. The weird thing is, they promote this openly.”
