The Young and the Restless anticipates that Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) escapes from that high security facility this week and shows up at Matt Clark (Roger Howarth)’s motel room talking about settling unfinished business.

But he wants no part of Patty’s chaos. But in the end, she may wind up unintentionally redeeming Matt, even though that’s the last thing she wants to see happen. We’re going to talk about who Patty is going to target now that she snuck out of prison. And in a weird way, I suspect this psycho could be the key to Matt’s redemption.

Young and the Restless: Patty Escapes Prison & Blindsides Matt

So this week, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) gets an urgent call from Detective Burrow (Matt Cohen) who alerts him and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) that Patty escaped the high security facility that she was in. So Jack alerts his security team, but Diane says that’s not enough. She says they need to get rid of Patty once and for all.

Jack is on board to take her down, and he tells Diane that. And then Jack tells Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) that they might need his help to smoke out the psycho stalker. Meanwhile, Patty is over at Matt’s motel room. She shows up disguised in a jumpsuit and sunglasses, and he notices that Patty smells minty.

So, she tells Matt she accidentally on purpose swallowed cleaning fluids so she could get transferred to the hospital and then she was able to escape from there. So, Patty’s trying to get Matt on her side and she wants to team up with him. And Patty talks about how she and Matt both have unfinished business in Genoa City.

Patty also says that she really needs to get to Jack, but Matt doesn’t want to help her with any of this. And of course, we know Patty has targets in her head already. But I think her list of people she wants dead has expanded during her time behind bars.

Patty’s First Target on Y&R

So, let’s talk about who Patty goes after and if her chaotic reign of terror legitimately redeems Matt. Now, first and most obviously, Patty’s going to go after Jack again. So, Patty just told Matt she needs to see Jack. And we know Patty is obsessed with Jack and has been for decades.

So, Patty may drug and molest Jack again as one last goodbye. And then Patty may just go ahead and try to kill Jack again. Alternately, Patty could just skip trying to sex Jack up and just kill him under the mindset that if Patty can’t have Jack, then nobody can, especially not Diane. But I do think Patty is going to try to get Jack into bed one last time just for reasons of closure.

I’m also feeling like Patty’s second target will be her longtime rival, Diane. And again, it’s because Patty still hates Diane for the affair she had with Jack when he was married to Patty back in the day. I mean, Jack was late to his wedding to Patty because he was in bed with Diane.

Young and Restless: Patty Wants Diane Dead

So, you can kind of see the point of why she hates her. So, I’m sure Patty would love to finish the job she started in the hospital when she injected Diane trying to kill her. Patty went nuts. Remember, she tried to kill Jack twice in recent months. Once with the stabbing and once when she planned to inject him and then she went after Diane instead. So, Patty may feel like there’s unfinished business with them both.

Another person to worry about is Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) first because Matt was always obsessed with Sharon and he still is in a different way. He went from being a pervert stalking and assaulting her to being remorseful and wanting her to forgive him. So, he’s obsessed with that.

Matt’s got a different type of fixation on Sharon now. Plus, Patty wants Matt all to himself. So, I still think there is a chance Patty might replace Jack with Matt as her lovesick obsession. So, Patty may target Sharon out of jealousy because Matt was obsessed with her before and her family and that went on for years.

Also, Patty may think that if she kills Sharon, then she can free Matt of the guilt that he feels whenever he sees Sharon. So, Patty may see this as some kind of twisted love offering to Matt, the guy that I think she wants to love. And in her mind, she may twist around, and Matt replaces Jack in her heart.

Young and the Restless: Sharon & Phyllis in Grave Danger

Plus, we’ve got Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) setting up Sharon with this crazy redemption scheme that Phyllis roped Matt into. So, Sharon’s in the mix now and could very well cross paths with Patty. And that psycho may decide to do two birds, one stone. You know, Patty may harm Sharon and frame Phyllis.

That way Patty gets rid of both Phyllis and Sharon and then she can have Matt all to herself. But I do think that Sharon would be lower on the priority list and it would be more about sabotaging Phyllis than anything else. Another obvious target for Patty is Phyllis Summers herself.

And that’s even without Sharon in the mix. Since Patty escaped and ran right to Matt, it’s obvious where Patty’s attention has shifted to. And that means Phyllis is a huge target as the current woman in Matt’s life, just like she was targeting Diane over Jack. So, we know how Patty’s twisted brain works. We’ve seen it in the past.

Once she latches on to someone, Patty’s obsession just keeps growing over time. And even worse is that Patty wants Matt to be a criminal with her. Patty wants Matt to embrace his inner darkness instead of this boring redemption nonsense that Phyllis has cooked up. So Patty may try and take Phyllis out, or she could just get her sent away by framing Red for Sharon’s death or some kind of violent accident.

Young and Restless: Patty May Target Matt

As I mentioned before, I tend to think Patty would rather just kill Phyllis and get her out of the way to clear a path for her and Matt. And that would be a cleaner solution for Patty than trying to frame and send Phyllis away.

After all, Patty tried to send Diane away so that she could have Jack all to herself, and that didn’t work out. So, Patty might realize she needs to change up the pages in her playbook, bypass framing Phyllis, and go straight to just murdering her as a matter of convenience.

And last but not least, Matt himself might end up being Patty’s final target if he keeps on rejecting her. And I think he will. Just like Patty tried to kill Jack because he wouldn’t be with her. She just decided to stab him and was legit trying to murder him.

But I think if Patty came for Matt with murder on her mind, I think he might take Patty out. Matt seems to genuinely not want to hurt anybody now and he really likes Phyllis on Young and the Restless.

And so I think when Matt sees what Patty is up to that Matt’s going to step up and if he grabs Patty and turns her back into the cops or if he kills her, then I think that’s boom, instant redemption.

Young and the Restless: Matt Gets Truly Redeemed

And it would be Matt actually earning his own redemption organically and not something orchestrated in a half-brained plot cooked up by Phyllis. And then if that happened, Matt might genuinely earn everyone’s forgiveness and prove that he really is a changed man.

Because let’s be honest, everybody in Genoa City hates Patty. And this is one surefire way for Matt to show that he is not the same monster he’s always been, not the same kind of monster that Patty is. If Matt saves the whole town from Patty, that would be great.

It would be a much better way for Matt to prove himself than some fake scheme with Phyllis, that would probably wind up being exposed as fake anyway and make him look worse in the end.

So, I am excited to see what Patty does now that she drank some toilet bowl cleaner and got herself out of that high security facility. Jack is absolutely right to be on high alert, and Patty is also extremely devious and she knows her way in and out of the mansion. But hopefully Matt will stop her before it goes too far.

Batman: The Animated Series is a beloved show, still revered by superhero fans worldwide for its striking visual style (drawn exclusively on black paper), which brilliantly blended a vivid art deco/noir design palette with the visual sensibility of Tim Burton‘s Batman movies, Kevin Conroy‘s and Mark Hamill‘s definitive duet as Batman and The Joker, and the general standard of excellence that the show maintained during its original 85-episode run, among other things.

Honorable mentions to H.A.R.D.A.C., Ventriloquist, The Mad Hatter, and the multitude of other mischief-makers who crossed paths with The Dark Knight in this classic show.

Penguin

Oswald Cobblepot, aka The Penguin, was voiced by Burgess Meredith, who previously portrayed the live-action version of the diminutive crime boss in Batman (1966). Penguin is the single-most dastardly crook in all of Gotham’s underworld. He always executes all of his criminal enterprises with a deep sense of righteous retribution for all the injustices that the cruel world has subjected him to

In “Birds of a Feather”, the lonely Penguin is strung along by a young bachelorette who shatters his already breaking heart when he sniffs out her phony air of romance. One does feel for Cobblepot, that is, until he ties the woman to a chandelier and threatens to cut the rope. Classic Oz behavior. Penguin is an all-time Batman villain whose appeal is equal parts absurd, tragic, and theatrical.

Poison Ivy

Making her debut in “Pretty Poison,” she commands a teeming army of carnivorous plants, but could always seal your fate with a poison-laced smooch. No matter how deep you bury her underground, she’ll always grow back — it’s the one and only Poison Ivy.

Pamela Isley is a research chemist for a cosmetics firm, a Professor of Endangered & Extinct Plants at Gotham University, and a criminal mastermind in her downtime. Her knowledge and command over all manner of virulent plant life is her claim to fame. She may openly admit to loving plants more than human beings, but with the way folks behave in Gotham, it’s tough to blame her.

The Riddler

Edward Nygma, aka The Riddler, is truly the picture of modern-day villainy in the Batman franchise. A genius computer software designer who loses everything and decides to exact his revenge on the world by harnessing his technological expertise in order to prove his intellectual supremacy.

After Batman deciphers his complex series of riddles in “If You’re So Smart, Why Aren’t You Rich?” thus saving the man who robbed him of his fortune, Nygma becomes singularly committed to besting Batman in a battle of wits. Batman: TAS retains the classically campy tone of The Riddler while sharpening the character with a real sense of menacing narcissism.

Ra’s al Ghul

The ancient commander of the Society of Shadows, he is who is called Ra’s al Ghul (meaning “The Demon’s Head”) simply must have a spot reserved in the Batman villain hall of fame. He is the only major villain to ever confirm Batman’s true identity, and therefore, one of the most dangerous.

Ra’s has survived for hundreds of years by periodically bathing himself in the rejuvenating liquids of the Lazarus Pit. Over the centuries, he has seen empires rise and fall, accumulated infinite wealth and resources, and grown uninterested in the petty criminality that concerns most Batman villains. At one point, Ra’s kidnaps Dick Grayson, immediately shows up to the Batcave unannounced, addresses Bruce by name, and casually refers to him as “Detective.” Now that’s confidence.

Scarecrow

A villain whose earliest appearances date back to the Golden Age of Comics, Scarecrow, aka Professor Jonathan Crane, is a staple of DC Comics. Crane’s patented fear-inducing chemicals trigger an extreme reaction of terror in the amygdala of his victims.

Scarecrow is a formidable opponent because his approach to crime is, quite literally, more cerebral. If properly dosed, Scarecrow can leave Batman cradled on the floor of an Arkham Asylum jail cell, lost in a darkly hallucinogenic nightmare of his mind’s own making. The phantasmagoric sequences which demonstrate the effects of Crane’s chemicals are some of the series’ most memorable visual flourishes.

Clayface

The story of Clayface, aka Matt Hagen, a once-famous leading man who begins abusing a transformational skin chemical called Renuyu after his cinematic career becomes jeopardized by a disfiguring car accident, comprises one of the best two-part episodes in Batman: TAS history. The muck-mouthed man-of-a-thousand-faces was voiced with reckless abandon by the great Ron Perlman. Clayface stands as one of the most dynamic and unpredictable threats to both Batman and Bruce Wayne alike.

Clayface’s chameleonic abilities allow him to execute some devilishly manipulative plot twists and misdirects, nearly always resulting in some uniquely fun moments of voice performance — e.g. Kevin Conroy’s subtly nefarious Batman voice which he performs through Clayface’s layer of disguise. He is among the most visually interesting villains in all of Batman: TAS who wields one of the most devastating power sets as well.

Mister Freeze

Before Arnold Schwarzenegger was dropping cringe-inducing snow puns like icicles from a thawing roof in Batman and Robin, Batman’s most frigid foe, Mister Freeze, made his series debut in one of the most emotionally effective episodes of Batman: TAS. “Heart of Ice” Depicts the tragic death of the late Nora Fries and the icy, embittered heart that her widowed husband Victor is left with.

Victor Fries may have the most morally justifiable backstory of any Batman’s antagonist. The former scientist was conducting experiments using unauthorized equipment in a desperate mission to cure his terminally ill wife. When the CEO of Gothcorp forcibly shuts Fries down, killing his wife and exposing him to an extreme overdose of coolant in the process, the ruthless tyrant known as Mister Freeze is born. The final image of Freeze sitting alone in his prison cell, clutching the snow globe that contains the likeness of his Nora, is sincerely moving.

Two-Face/Harvey Dent

Once Bruce Wayne’s closest friend and confidant, District Attorney Harvey Dent was widely considered to be the most honest and upstanding politician in all of Gotham City. But as crime boss Rupert Thorne puts it in “Two-Face: Part 1,” “The brighter the picture, the darker the negative.”

Driven to the brink of insanity after Thorne threatens to expose his dark secret, Harvey finally embraces his long-dormant shadow-self — the odious criminal mind known as “Big Bad Harv” or “Two-Face.” Harvey’s dramatic fall from grace, depicted masterfully in “Two-Face” parts 1 and 2, is genuinely sad. Two-Face, more than any other villain, continually forces Batman into a personal moral dilemma.

Harley Quinn

Arkham Asylum criminal psychologist Harleen Quinzel made her debut as Harley Quinn in “Joker’s Favor,” and Gotham City has never been the same since. One of the few wholly original creations from Batman: TAS, and the most iconic of the bunch by far, Harley was created by a pair of DC legends, Paul Dini and Bruce Timm.

Since then, the character has gone on to anchor a slew of major DC projects, including the stupendous Harley Quinn show and Margot Robbie’s standout portrayal of Harley in the DCU. But to this day, episodes like “Mad Love” and “Harley & Ivy” still stand as the classic, foundational bedrock of this beloved character. She’s the Joker’s partner in madness, and her mallet packs a punch, puddin’.

The Joker

Who else but the clown prince of crime could ever hope to occupy the top spot on this list? Mark Hamill’s turn as The Joker is nothing less than the stuff of supervillain legend. It is still the finest and purest rendering of Batman’s greatest foe ever captured on screen. The Joker is the absolute perfect balance between hilarious, terrifying, charming, and unknowable.

Every giggle and cackle in Hamill’s vast repertoire of distinctly deranged Joker laughs showcases a distinct color in the rainbow of his madness. Episodes like “Joker’s Favor,” “The Laughing Fish,” and “Joker’s Wild” are all universally considered to be pinnacles for the character.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an apparent murder-suicide after a husband allegedly killed his estranged wife.

Officials said in a press release that deputies were contacted around 9:45 a.m. on Monday, September 7, about a suspicious incident that took place at a home. A neighbor called for a welfare check on Yoon Jung Shin, who had not been seen for several days. Police noted that a car that belonged to Shin’s estranged husband, Donald Johnson, was parked in the driveway upon the officer’s arrival.

Deputies were unable to make contact when they arrived at the home, so they forced entry into the residence due to concerns over Shin’s well-being.

Officers then found two deceased individuals inside of the home, and the El Paso County Coroner’s Office identified Shin, 53, as the deceased woman. Johnson, 64, was also found at the home and it was determined that he died by suicide.

Detectives from the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office are leading the investigation into the murder-suicide with help from the Metro Crime Lab. The case is being investigated as a possible murder-suicide, and the cause and manner of deaths are expected to be released by the El Paso County Coroner at a later date.

No additional information was shared due to the ongoing nature of the investigation.

After the deaths were discovered, neighbor Floyd Kerr spoke to KRDO13 about watching law enforcement and emergency vehicles arrive at the scene.

“Coroner, vans parked out in front. So at that point, we figured it was probably pretty serious,” Kerr said.

Kerr also shared that law enforcement had been called to Shin’s house on a previous occasion months before the apparent murder-suicide.

“I say, six months to a year ago, there was just an evening where there was some yelling going on and it’s, you know, across the street and down a few houses,” Kerr recalled. “So you shouldn’t be able to hear yelling quite so loud. We could see the lady that lived there, in tears, talking to one of the cops for about a half an hour. And so we knew it was something bad.”

Shin taught music out of her home, and students continued arriving at the residence for scheduled music lessons on Wednesday, September 9, because they were unaware of her murder, according to the outlet. Neighbors have since had to tape signs to the front door to inform the families that classes were canceled.

Angelina Jolie is one proud mother.

“They’re definitely individuals. That makes me very proud because one of the most important things, I think, is to basically not get in their way,” Jolie, 51, told L’Officiel in an interview published Wednesday, September 9. “As a parent, you try to do many things, but you also try to not get in the way of this human being who has a life separate from yours and so much potential in their own mind. You want to make sure that you support them.”

Jolie and ex-husband Brad Pitt share six children: Maddox, 25, Pax, 22, Zahara, 21, Shiloh, 20, and twins Knox and Vivienne, both 18. Price shared that she hired a new makeup artist, in lieu of her typical “glam squad,” for the event.

“The person doing my makeup, oh my God, I am so honored, so lucky. The person is absolutely iconic and, at the same time, so excited to do my makeup,” she said. “He’s got to cover all this up. So, yeah, watch the magic happen.”

She continued, “Originally I had a glam squad, but they passed on doing the NTAs because I wouldn’t wear the outfits they wanted me to. But the outfit I’ve chosen myself is still different because I don’t like to follow what everyone else follows. In a way, they did me a favor by saying they were going to pass on my glam.”

Fox had previously retired in 2000, a few years after he went public with his diagnosis, but his resilience carried him until he pulled the plug again two decades later. “Shrinking” was created by Fox’s pal Bill Lawrence, who gave him the chance to show up as he is on set, emotions high or otherwise. 

In his interview with PEOPLE, Fox acknowledged that a new variable of his symptoms emerged, which came with him losing his ability to memorize things, lack of tremor control, and balance issues.

When the actor wasn’t appearing on TV screens, he shifted his focus to advancing the Michael J. Fox Foundation, created in 2000. He explained that his foundation’s main aim was to create a world where Parkinson’s disease is a thing of the past, with help from science.

Fox’s television appearance came with a bow on top as he already snagged an Emmy nomination for his role on the third season of “Shrinking.” The show follows a therapist who deals with his friend and colleague who has Parkinson’s disease, likewise Fox’s character, who also has the condition.

Back in January, the movie star told the Los Angeles Times that a scene in “Once Upon A Time” where Leonardo DiCaprio’s character crashed out because he couldn’t memorize his lines resonated with him.

As The Blast shared earlier in the year, Fox told the LA Times he knew he wanted to be part of “Shrinking” the second he started watching it, and his closeness with Lawrence made that dream achievable.

According to him: “I saw Billy’s show, and I just thought, it’s fantastic. The depth of character, the quality of relationships, the language — it’s just a beautiful show.”

While the actor admitted to feeling a flush of fulfillment appearing on set again, he declared that his return should be treated as what it truly is- brief. Fox added that with his children leaving home and dealing with an empty nest, it may seem like the best time to take the plunge again, but his plan was far from that.

The actor added that his inclusion in the show as someone living with Parkinson’s brought another layer of authenticity and depth that may help people understand the condition. Fox has been dealing with the disease for a large chunk of his life, as he got a diagnosis at the age of 29.

Fox and his wife, Tracy Pollan, tied the knot in 1988, a few years before he got the diagnosis, and she was right with him when he decided to go public with the news. The Blast noted that the actor confessed to The Hollywood Reporter that his wife felt the worst hit from the reaction that followed the news and the rollercoaster from Parkinson’s.

He noted that due to the symptoms of the disease always changing, Pollan did not know what to expect and how to navigate their new normal. However, the actor said his decision to be open about everything was to raise awareness of his health issue.

The filmmaker weighed in on the stigma and pessimism that often trailed Parkinson’s, including the lack of resources to provide support for people battling the condition, unlike himself, who got necessary help.

Fox added that he found sharing his reality individually elevating and closer to humanity, not always about science. “And if we can find a way to get through every day and at the same time be fueling for our actions and our deeds and our philanthropy, then that’s a great thing,” he concluded.

The television personality struggled with emotional and physical effects of the disease, which came in daily doses of reduced mobility, shocking tremors, and several other symptoms he did not know existed. 

In the middle of the rubble, however, Fox told PEOPLE at the Michael J. Fox Foundation’s annual “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Cure Parkinson’s” gala in 2024 that he found an anchor in his impeccable sense of humor, though very dark.

He had been open about dark humor and how it makes challenging conversations about breaking barriers and unraveling taboos a bit more bearable, as he encouraged everyone to embrace it. The event raised about $116 million in funds to support Parkinson’s disease research.

Since its inception in 2000, the actor’s Parkinson’s Disease Foundation has raised over $1.75 billion for research, and it remains the largest non-profit funder of Parkinson’s drug development globally. The Foundation has also been a transformative force in the search for a cure, playing an important role in scientific humanitarian missions.

When it comes to “so bad it’s good cinema,” there needs to be some sort of purity test ahead of production so we don’t end up with movies like Samurai Cop 2: Deadly Vengeance. For those of you who are not in the know, this film is a sequel to 1991’s Samurai Cop, a movie that has garnered a reputation for being one of the worst films of all time.

The problem with cult films like Tommy Wiseau’s The Room (2003), James Nguyen’s Birdemic: Shock and Terror (2010), and Amir Shervan’s Samurai Cop is that they’re accidentally brilliant. The acting is wooden because nobody knows how to act, and the sound and lighting design choices are so baffling that the only way to explain or excuse them is to accept the films for what they are: total amateur hour endeavors.

When filmmakers like Wiseau (who’s actually in Samurai Cop 2: Deadly Vengeance) and Nguyen become too self-aware, they lose the spark that made their most iconic works so notorious in the first place. The Room is a masterpiece in cringe cinema because there was no self-awareness, and Wiseau genuinely seemed to think he was making a masterpiece.

Nguyen’s Birdemic 2: The Resurrection tried to cash in on the accidental schlock and awe of its predecessor, and you can tell it’s being phoned in because he figured audiences wanted more of the same.

Even worse, in the case of Samurai Cop 2: Deadly Vengeance, it’s not even helmed by Amir Shervan, who passed away in 2006, but is only based on his characters. You can’t recreate the kind of magic the first film had because it’s now being put together by somebody who wasn’t even attached to the OG.

One Last Job, Getting Too Old For This Ish

Twenty-five years after Joe Marshall (Mathew Karedas) and Frank Washington (Mark Frazer) took down the Katana crime syndicate in Samurai Cop, Joe has disappeared from public life following the murder of his girlfriend Jennifer. Unfortunately, the Katana organization didn’t stay dead. Fuj Fujiyama (Cranston Komuro) has rebuilt his criminal empire and now finds himself caught in a gang war with the rival Shinjuku and Ginza clans.

When the violence escalates, Frank tracks down his former partner and convinces Joe to return to Los Angeles with the promise that Jennifer’s murder investigation will be reopened.

Back on the job, Joe and Frank begin investigating the warring crime families while Joe becomes involved with the mysterious Milena Roberts (Kayden Kross), a woman who bears an uncanny resemblance to his slain lover. Making matters considerably weirder are Katana vice president Doggé Sakamoto (Bai Ling) and Shinjuku leader Linton Kitano (Tommy Wiseau), who both have their own reasons for wanting Joe out of the picture.

As the bodies pile up and the gang war gets increasingly convoluted, Joe realizes that his return may have been part of somebody else’s plan all along. And this time, it’s personal … or something. I don’t really know. I pretty much tapped out spiritually midway through the third act, which is saying a lot because I am a patient man.

Why This Formula Fails

Samurai Cop 2: Deadly Vengeance fails because it tries so hard to be a bigger and better version of Samurai Cop. Bringing Mathew Karedas and Mark Frazer back into the mix makes for a great reunion of sorts, but at this point everybody knew about the first film’s reputation and was trying to capitalize on the whole “so bad it’s good” angle.

Heck, they even got Tommy Wiseau in on the fun, who at this point in his career had stopped taking himself seriously and leaned into his public persona as an unhinged maniac who secretly thinks he’s brilliant while putting out content that’s deliberately worse than The Room.

This knowledge is what kills sequels like Samurai Cop 2: Deadly Vengeance because it feels insincere. Watching somebody who really thinks they’re cooking fail miserably has an innate charm compared to somebody who’s actively trying to make a bad movie. Half of the humor associated with films like The Room, Birdemic, and Samurai Cop is the result of a complete lack of self-awareness and experience, and the fun comes from watching that cognitive dissonance play out on screen.

That’s why films like Samurai Cop 2: Deadly Vengeance never quite hit the same level as their predecessors. Without that cognitive dissonance from somebody who doesn’t have any clue how to make a movie but reckons they’ll figure it out, it’s just bad theater written in bad faith. The first film wasn’t a bad movie on purpose, and we love it for that. Here, they actively tried to make a bad movie, and it’s not only worse than the first one, but doesn’t even have half of its charm.

Big Brother: The Party Poopers

Angela Murray joined the kiddos when they sang Happy Birthday to Barrett and presented his cake. Meanwhile, party poopers Dee Valladares and Rick Devens boycotted the get-together.

Taylor Brown made the cake and spelled out HBD Barrett in sprinkles. Drew Campbell said it should have said Happy Birthday Icon Slayer. Barrett used birthday hats to make a nose and ears to look like a rat.

Drew was going to do it too but Barrett said he doesn’t need the hat (implying he looks like a rat already). On her TikTok, Mallory Aurichio made a cake for Barrett’s birthday. It was hideous looking but sweet.

Oreo cake, Nutella between layers. Mint flavored green frosting glopped on. Crushed mint Oreo on the sides, chocolate chips on top and she wrote Happy Birthday Mallory on it but then wished Barrett happy birthday.

What’s funny is before Mallory was evicted, she tried to get Barrett to ask for a box mix of carrot cake with his birthday cake boxes because that’s what she likes and Big Brother gives you two boxes of mix.

Mallory specifically mentioned the Oreo cake with mint and Barrett didn’t think it sounded good. So that’s why she made it. In the house, Barrett thanked Taylor for the cake and said thank you to everybody who came to his party.

Big Brother 28: Melody Gets Dumped

Rumor has it that Melody’s boyfriend Aaron unfollowed her on all of the socials and blocked her. The Sun said several weeks ago that sources close to Aaron said he was uncomfortable with how Melody was acting with Drew on the show.

But they also said Aaron and Melody weren’t officially a couple when she went into Big Brother 28. They were casual. Aaron apparently met Melody at ASU. They graduated five years ago and they’ve been on again, off again for a while.

But according to the Sun’s report, they were apparently rekindling when Melody started Big Brother. And if the street talk is correct and Aaron is done with her because of Drew, that’s a whoops.

Icons Talk Trash on BB28

Now let’s get into the icons trash talking each other about who’s going home. Angela, Devens, and Dee sat at the dining room table, lightly roasting each other about tonight’s Blockbuster.

Dee told Devens, “You’re not going to win. I’m going to win.” He clapped back to Dee. “It’s sweet that you think that.” Dee joked that “it would be an honor to lose” to him. And Devens said, “it’ll be an honor to beat you”.

Dee laughed and said, “it’ll be a bigger honor to see you in jury”. And Angela joked, “Then vote for me.” Devens said when he gets to jury he’s going to tell Lala he needs four days alone to decompress.

Devens talked about his social battery being drained and Dee insisted her social battery is great and Devens laughed at her. He said if this is you with a good social battery, “then, okay”.

Because the rest of the house has been talking about how Dee’s been acting. Devens got a second wind just in time for the Blockbuster. He loaded up on cold medicine last night and is feeling good today.

Big Brother: Rules are Rules, Right?

Real quick, I mentioned that Dee took hot water into the Have-Not shower and eating Kamu Kirk‘s food as a Have-Not were rule violations. And then Dee made a third rule violation during the veto ceremony.

When Dee went over and put her leg up and loomed over Barrett, that was a rule break – a clear violation. The rules say during the veto ceremony, everyone must remain seated unless they are pulled off the block with the veto or renommed

Otherwise everybody must stay seated except for the veto holder until the veto box is closed and the meeting is adjourned. So Dee was rule-breaking again. But penalty votes are rare so I’d be stunned to see Dee face consequences for rule-breaking.

Big Brother 28: Votes are Flipping

Let’s talk about where the votes are because things were fluid overnight. Yash Patel and Taylor debated keeping Devens over Angela. Yash was saying if Devens would say out loud that he would target Barrett and Drew, then he would keep him.

But Taylor pushed back hard on evicting Devens. And Taylor’s had conversations with Devens where he made loyalty promises that he wouldn’t go against her and Yash so she may be waffling. Taylor told Devens he would have to make a statement.

And Devens said that he would. So, he might pull out something in his final speech if he is one of two up for eviction tonight. Right now, Dee may be safe sitting next to Devens because he’s the bigger social threat. But I wouldn’t count Rick out just yet.

Dee has also been selling herself as better to keep over Angela because she’ll be a bigger target next to anybody on the block. But that would leave intact, the trio of Devens, Dee, and Drew. Bottom line is Angela feels safe right now and maybe shouldn’t.

Angela’s been actively socializing with the rest of the house while Dee and Devens have been more standoffish and threatening. But Dee may be able to sell evicting Angela. I anticipate lots of active voting talk leading up to the Blockbuster.

So this, I think, is a really hard week to nail down who’s going to go. Dee and Devens, I think, are going to keep having conversations today and Angela may not be campaigning which would be a big mistake on her part.

Big Brother: A Forced Prediction

If I absolutely had to predict, I think Devens goes out if he’s on the block. And I think if it’s Angela versus Dee, then Angela might actually go. Which would be an insanely bad decision for these houseguests.

Maybe they haven’t watched Survivor and don’t know who they’re dealing with when it comes to Dee. I’ve watched her gameplay on two seasons of Survivor. She’s dangerous.

Big Brother 28: A Man-Man Showmance Debut?

When I saw Angela embarrass Drew and Melody about their pool action, I thought her confronting them might get her evicted. And then overnight, we had Melody and Drew griping about Angela to Barrett.

Melody was on fire about Angela and others talking about her and Drew. And Melody said I’m not here to be your romantic comedy movie. She said, “I didn’t come here to make out with Drew”. He agreed that Angela’s very persistent.

Melody said Angela’s affecting her game and projecting fantasies. Melody asked why is no one talking about me cuddling with Barrett? He agreed – Barrett asked why isn’t he being talked about?

Then, Drew joked he and Barrett could have the first man-man showmance, that they wore dresses together and reenacted movies with guy-guy loves scenes. Drew said he’s all about firsts.

The Vetr founder is turning a timely livestock treatment into the foundation of a much larger animal-health and biotechnology strategy

In biotechnology, blockbuster companies are rarely built around a single moment. They are built when an entrepreneur recognizes a market need, responds at the right time, and then develops the infrastructure to turn that initial success into something much larger.

That is the opportunity now taking shape around Andrew Hamilton, founder and CEO of Vetr, whose growing animal-health company has gained momentum through Albendamax, an albendazole-based oral suspension developed for livestock. When treatments become difficult to obtain, producers can face reduced weight gain, lower feed efficiency, reproductive complications, and other costly operational challenges.

Vetr recognized that pressure and moved to increase access.

Albendamax has since progressed from being an available alternative during a strained supply period to becoming a product with an expanding retail presence. Its availability through Southern Livestock, a retailer with access to more than 700 stores across the United States, represents a significant step in that evolution.

“Livestock producers need dependable products and dependable places to purchase them,” Hamilton said when announcing the expanded availability. “Making Albendamax available through Southern Livestock brings the product closer to the people who rely on it while supporting our larger goal of building a more accessible animal-health supply network.”

That last phrase may be the most important part of Hamilton’s strategy. He is not simply attempting to sell bottles of a livestock treatment. He is working to build a supply network connecting product development, veterinary access, digital services, and retail distribution.

From Product Availability to Market Position

Albendamax initially attracted attention because it was available when livestock producers were having difficulty finding other albendazole-based products. Availability created the opening, but Vetr’s ability to expand distribution could determine whether that opening becomes a lasting market position.

The Southern Livestock relationship gives Albendamax greater visibility among the farmers, ranchers, and animal-health professionals who already purchase products through agricultural retailers. It also moves Vetr beyond a temporary response to a shortage and closer to the kind of durable distribution model required to build a nationally recognized brand.

The product is currently offered in several package sizes intended to serve different livestock operations. Users are required to follow all label instructions, withdrawal periods, pregnancy precautions, and species-specific directions. Albendamax is strictly for veterinary use, and livestock owners should consult a licensed veterinarian when making decisions regarding parasite diagnosis, treatment and control.

Those practical details matter because Hamilton’s ambitions depend on earning the confidence of the agricultural community. Livestock producers do not choose essential products based on hype alone. They value consistency, accessibility and a reliable supply chain.

Vetr’s early success with Albendamax suggests the company understands that reality.

Andrew Hamilton Is Playing a Bigger Game

Hamilton’s business interests already extend beyond one veterinary product. Through Vetr, he is developing a broader animal-health operation focused on making veterinary services and treatments more affordable and accessible. The company’s strategy spans pharmaceutical products, digital veterinary care, and expanded wholesale and retail distribution.

Hamilton has also been building a portfolio of pharmaceutical and medically relevant digital assets. Earlier in 2026, he acquired Omeprazole.com from AstraZeneca, adding a widely recognized pharmaceutical domain.

Hamilton’s digital portfolio also includes Albendazole.com, Whipworms.com, Pinworms.com, and Coccidia.com, in addition to Tapeworm.com and Tapeworms.com. Together, these domains reflect a broader strategy centered on owning authoritative online destinations related to common parasites and their treatments. 

The acquisition offered another look at how Hamilton thinks. Rather than separating biotechnology, digital discovery, and commerce into unrelated categories, he appears to view them as parts of the same system.

Consumers, pet owners and agricultural professionals increasingly begin their search for health information and products online. Owning valuable digital destinations while also developing products and distribution channels could give Hamilton a distinctive position at the intersection of healthcare information, treatment access and commerce.

That does not make billionaire status inevitable. Building a billion-dollar biotechnology business requires more than ambition. It demands sustained product development, regulatory discipline, strong distribution relationships and the ability to scale without losing customer trust.

Still, Hamilton is assembling the right kinds of assets.

“The opportunity is much larger than any one medication,” Hamilton has said. “We are building infrastructure intended to make veterinary care and animal-health products more affordable, accessible and reliable.”

Albendamax Could Be the Beginning

The real significance of Albendamax may ultimately be what it proves about Vetr’s operating model.

The company identified an underserved need, brought forward a product and expanded its reach through an established agricultural retailer.
