Inside Coronation Street legend’s VERY eccentric home on sale for ÂŁ1.5million – can you guess who?
EX-CORRIE star Julie Goodyearâs home is for sale for ÂŁ1.5million â and there is no shortage of her trademark leopard print.
The actress, 82, who played the Rovers Returnâs no-nonsense landlady Bet Lynch, has lived in the four-bedroom farmhouse set in 15 acres of land for more than 25 years.

The property, in Heywood, Gtr Manchester, has stables, wrought iron gates framed by two golden eagles and for Coronation Street fans it even has its own cobbles on the driveway.
Interior shots on property website Zoopla show Julieâs love of leopard print evident among the furnishings.
She and husband Scott Brand, 55, have decided to sell up amid Julieâs battle with dementia.
Julie’s pal issued a health update on the actress earlier this year.

Speaking about the retired actress on the Conversation Street podcast, Mark said: âJulie is living a good life, really.
âShe still loves leopard print, Iâm pleased to say.
âI see her at least once a week, sometimes twice a week, and spend a few hours with her and have afternoon tea at her house, which I call leopard print boulevard.
âSheâs quite happy, she goes out regularly.
âI take her chocolate cake on a Sunday and we tuck into that â wellâ.â.â.âshe doesnât let me have any to be honest.
âSheâs good, obviously she has dementia as everybody knows, but itâs wrong to say you suffer from dementia, you live with dementia.
“It changes what you can do and how you look at life.
âI think Julie has been very brave and strong about that.â

Comedian Rosie OâDonnell has revealed a surprising link to the Menendez brothers, who she says consider her their âbig sisterâ.
Lyle and Erik Menendez are serving life sentences for the 1989 murders of their parents, JosĂ© and Kitty. The siblings have been back in the public eye following the release of Ryan Murphyâs Netflix series Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.
They were arrested for first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder outside their home in March 1990 and sentenced in 1996. In 2024, new evidence emerged that has the potential to set them free, with their case now being considered by the LA District Attorney.
OâDonnell told Variety that she was first contacted by Lyle after he saw her appear on Larry King Live, 30 years ago. At the time, The View host took the opportunity to say she believed the brothers claims that they had been molested by their father.
TV host Barbara Walters, however, warned her against staying in touch with the convicted murderers, claiming that Lyle was âvery cunningâ.
Yet two years ago OâDonnell found herself once again vouching for the brothers after the release of a documentary, which shed new light on the case.
âI got a call from Lyleâs wife â I didnât even know he had a wife â asking if I would talk to him,â she said. âHe called me on Motherâs Day last year.â
She added that the pair are now regularly in touch.
âWe talk a lot,â she continued. âI told them I would do what I could with whatever dwindling fame I have to bring light to their story. I said, âItâs not the Nineties, Lyle. Iâm not on that show anymore.â
âI think if you feel strongly about something and you want to try to help society, you can use your voice because the children who are abused in their homes donât have a voice. Itâs up to the adults who were once those children to speak for them.â

Last year, OâDonnell made the trip to San Diego prison to see the brothers in prison.
âI saw Lyle and gave him a hug. Then Erik came over to me, hugged me, and whispered in my ear, âThank you for loving my brother.â It was very, very moving to me.â
Beyond a friendship, OâDonnell said that the brothers feel like family to her. âI feel like a big sister in a way. Lyle is one of the most lauded prisoners in the California prison system,â she said. âYou canât ignore that.â
She added that she believes they could be released in the ânext 30 daysâ.

AMANDA Owenâs highly anticipated TV return has got her fans glued to her social media and now there is much excitement over a newply posted photo of three of the mother-of-nineâs daughters.
The Yorkshire shepherdess has shared a photograph of her three grown up daughters- Edith, Raven and Violet-on horseback and viewers whoâve followed their journey since they were little, cannot believe how theyâve matured.

One said: âI recognise Raven but the others are so grown up now.â
Another said: âGoodness do I spy Violet?â
Meanwhile another said: âGreat to see you back on here.â
For four years the Channel 5 show Our Yorkshire Farm was one of the most popular fly on the wall reality shows on TV, following life on a remote farm in the Dales, run by shepherdess Amanda, sheep farmer Clive and their nine children.
But in 2022, the couple shocked their fnas by announcing their separation on social media. She said:Â âClive and I have are sad to confirm that we have made the difficult decision to separate.
“This hasn’t been easy, but we both believe it’s the right choice for the future of our family.”
Clive has since opened up about his part in their split, admitting his “anger drove her away.”
Following their split the Sun revealed that Amanda had been having a relationship with web designer Robert Davies, who is 22-years her senior.
He was a “good friend” to them, Clive said as he confirmed that Amanda’s new relationship began after they had separated.
However, in 2024, Amanda revealed that her relationship with Robert had ended and that they were no-longer on speaking terms.
Meanwhile, Amanda and Clive have become good friends and continue to co-parent their children and work together on the farm.
Now will be seen together for the first time onscreen since their split for their new series Our Farm Next Door on More 4.
This new five-part observational documentary series will take viewers back to the Yorkshire Dales to follow Yorkshire Shepherdess Amanda and her family as they renovate a derelict farmhouse on their property.
Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids charts the Owensâ journey to breathe life back into a derelict neighbouring property they bought to plan for the familyâs future.Â
This first series follows the initial 12 months of the project and sees Amanda, Clive and their nine children work with a team of local tradespeople to slowly bring their ambitious vision for the farmhouse – known locally as Anty Johnâs – to life, battling against the unforgiving Dales weather on one of the most remote building sites in Britain.
Meanwhile, Amanda delves into the houseâs rich history, uncovering the incredible tale of Anthony Clarkson, a Swaledale mapmaker and diarist who lived there in the mid-1800s and documented life in this stunning corner of the Dales.Â
Alongside the renovation, we spend time with Clive, Amanda and their nine children at home at Ravenseat, as they negotiate a tough year running the family sheep farm in one of the wettest years on record.Â
Although Amanda and Clive arenât back together, viewers should expect to see them getting along well in the series.
In a candid interview earlier this year, Clive revealed that he and Amanda maintained a close relationship after their split.Â
He said: âItâs not like everyone elseâs version of leaving a marriage, because she was at the farm the next day and every day thereafter, looking after the kids, feeding us all, doing jobs on the farm â and she still is!âÂ
He added: âThe two houses are walking distance, so the kids, now aged from eight to 23, go where they want to go. They do as they please, thereâs no tension or animosity about the set-up.

Tizen, blah…if I'm spending that much on a TV, then it's not me, because I'm never spending that much on a TV. Working in tech isn't even a requirement in order to understand the pricing structure of televisions…basically, if it's $20K today, it will be $3999 next year…. I say that jokingly, but that truly does encompass the speed at which these screens drop in price and become available across all brands and all tiers… usually starts with the discount boys, such as HiSense or TCL, and then you start to get the trickle effect into the main players, who essentially make all the screens that we spend the majority of our days staring at–pretty sad to think about, Apple even created a report to shamefully rub it in your face…either way, Samsung and LG do make great screens, as evidenced by the majority of iPhones and MacBooks being used to watch this content which are produced by the those in exact order…. that said, a huge component often overlook in televisions, other than OS which is essentially a relatively newer feature, whereas a decade or so ago they ran some of the most basic menus and proprietary nav systems, not unlike something you would still find on a computer monitor….either way, big boys from Google have implemented Android TV, I believe rebranded to Google TV, however representing the same thing, which I find a lot more stable than the Samsung based Tizen…I would compare it to Google Maps versus, let's say, OG Apple Maps….I rest my case….either way, that big selling feature I was referring to is the processor in these things…screens can be great, but, like all electronics, they need to have the power and efficiency in order to effectively process the imaging, colors and the laundry list of settings and features you will probably never use….you just really care that you can plug in all the crap you own, the picture looks good across the board and it lasts you more than 5 years with solid picture and no burnout surprises….all that said, to this day, I am a Sony guy…they haven't done me wrong (knocking on wood) and my current 65" LED (OLED is good sure, but there a longevity and vision impacting issues pertaining to them)…and then you have all these new ones which, other than a quick comparison chart, I do not know enough to comment on…from mini LED and so on and so forth…..I'm good to stick with the tech that's been proven for more than a year and if these newer fad ones are as good as they are touted to be, well then that means they will be around in 5-10 years, just in time for me to upgrade to a newer and bigger unit,,,,
PS: Huge personal pet peeve…but never use projector tech to compare to these screens in terms of pricing…the experience, display and everything else are night and day…projectors have come a long way, sure….and the good ones aren't cheap…but unless you're watching them in pitch darkness, and even if you are, they are significantly worse than even the most entry level LED screen out there…but, to each their own…if you think a 100 inch projector is for you, then I'd say you can test out the experience by placing a white sheet over your current TV and watching that for a week….the King has spoken..

My 50â TV weights under 30 pounds, super light.
I had a 36â CRT that was 160 pounds. Good old days. đ
So this near 100â inch at 160 pounds too.

Can be a different model number, but the average price of this tv DROPPED HUGH.
Once such size tv enter the consumer market at big RETAILER the price start around 15000 euro than. Drop 50%
Retail 5000 to 8500 euro.
than another 50%
Become between 2500 and 4500 euro. just few inch 5 to 10 inch different.
NOW A 55 INCH ULTRA HD TV COST AROUND 300 TO 500 EURO.
Before that ultra hd was very Exclusive. Since old CRT too at many homes. PLASMA & LED STARTED TO FLOOD the Market. Play with ambi light and accessories like soundbar when buy tv , can negotiate discount for soundbar.
When not want soundbar, show CASH money, ask lower price. Or ask a gift. Dealer not want to miss a quick sales.
But CASH feed urgency at dealer underbelly.
Make sure dealer only have attention for you m if he/she busy not bother.
Every retailer think sales is money m.
