Young and the Restless Spoilers: Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) - Matt Clark (Roger Howarth)

Young and the Restless early weekly spoilers for April 13th through the 17th suggest Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is in anguish and Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) is attacking at last.

As we always do on early edition day, we start with what’s coming the rest of this week, then dive into next week.

Young and the Restless Spoilers Wednesday, April 8th: Lily Can’t Be A Donor

So, Wednesday, April 8th, Lily tells Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) that she won’t tell anybody about his aplastic anemia until he okays it. But Lily really wants to tell Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), but Malcolm says he’s not ready for that just yet.

Lily says she’s going to get tested ASAP to see if she can donate her bone marrow. Meanwhile, Malcolm says his doctor, Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox), is in Genoa City right now. Malcolm exits and Lily is upset to find out from the doctor that her past cancer means she is not eligible to be a donor for her bio dad.

Y&R Spoilers: Phyllis Provokes Cane

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is prodding Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) to pay attention to her and not Lily when he keeps looking over there at the GCAC and she wants to know who Cane is plotting revenge on. And he tells Phyllis go away but she keeps poking. So Cane says he may want revenge on her and he tells Phyllis everybody hates her. She tries to say that they’re just jealous. Cane says no, everybody hates you, including your kids. And says that the only thing Phyllis has at this point is a stolen company.

Cane says he does not care about Phyllis and she doesn’t get any of his attention. He’s not going to give it to her. But she keeps following Cane around. She starts offering him a job. Phyllis tries to say he’s got no options but her and Cane’s again peeking at Lily and then Phyllis asked if he wants revenge on his ex-wife and Cane says just leave me alone.

Phyllis says that she’s Cane’s friend and he should be happy for her and he calls Phyllis a manipulator. And then Cane reminds Phyllis she stole his AI to steal the things that she now has. She says Cane could easily rebuild the AI. And he walks away to check on Lily, who is looking upset. Cane asks if Malcolm is okay. And Lily does not want to talk to him about it. So Cane just walks away annoyed.

Holden’s Father Isn’t His Bio Dad on Young and the Restless

Stephanie has huge news for Holden Novak. And he’s worried that she’s there to tell him he has the same genetic disease that killed his dad. But no, it’s not that. Stephanie reveals that his dad wasn’t his biological father, so he’s not going to have that disease, and says she was pregnant when she met the man who raised Holden, but says that he knew all along that he wasn’t Holden’s father, but he raised him that way.

And Stephanie says she never told his biological father he even existed. So, she’s pressing Holden to agree to meet his bio dad, who is a good guy and really needs his help, and he’s kind of annoyed that Stephanie’s only telling him this because the guy needs something from him.

Y&R Spoilers: Stephanie Shocks Malcolm & Holden

Malcolm arrives and Stephanie tells him Lily is not going to be eligible to donate because of her past cancer. And then she shocks them both. She introduces Holden and tells Malcolm that’s your son and tells Holden this is your dad. And Malcolm is quite upset that Stephanie hid his son from him his whole life.

But she reminds Malcolm that he had moved on with Olivia by then and says her dead husband raised Holden as his own. And he asks what is it that Malcolm needs? And Stephanie says bone marrow. So Holden is shocked to hear that he has a sister who’s not a match.

Stephanie’s blaming herself for them never knowing each other, but she’s also defensive about it, which is kind of crazy. So Holden is stunned to find out that he is Lily’s brother.

And Holden admits that he knows Lily, but says that things between them are complicated. And of course they are because he is, you know, Cane’s right-hand guy and/or henchman, but he was already looking for another job. Anyway.

Young and the Restless Spoilers Thursday, April 9th: Malcolm and Stephanie Discuss Past

Then on Thursday, April 9th, we’ve got Malcolm and Stephanie rehashing and talking about their complex history. Hopefully they’re not doing it in front of Holden, and they’re sitting at Crimson Lights and she’s telling Malcolm she can still remember how excited Olivia and Drucilla were to set them up back in the day.

They thought that Malcolm and Stephanie were perfect for each other and were going to be this epic couple. So Lily is also there with them this week and of course they were also meeting Holden there. So, I’m quite sure whatever point she finds it out, Lily is going to be stunned to know that Cane’s right-hand man, Holden, is now her newfound brother on Young and the Restless.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: A Family Affair

Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) sees Holden differently on Thursday. So, he may go and open up because this is a huge life-changing shocker and may tell Claire about his mom, Stephanie, and that he just found out that his father who raised him wasn’t really his bio dad,.

And he met his biological father who’s Malcolm Winters and just found out his sister’s Lily and the whole bone marrow request and I think Holden’s going to have some anguish over this and some angst which makes sense.

Lily goes to see Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) looking for some guidance and I expect this is about the Malcolm situation and Lily can’t be a donor because of her cancer and we’ll see if she knows at this point about Holden.

Y&R Spoilers Friday, April 10th: Nick Cornered By Matt

Friday, April 10th, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) finds himself cornered by Matt. I’m betting Nick’s high as a kite from the strong drugs he got from Matt’s dealer. Also in Vegas on Friday, Riza Thompson (Tina Casciani) and  Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) are kissing.

She says if all goes well, they’ll celebrate tonight. Adam says he’s all in and there’s more kissing. And later, Nick wants to know from Adam how far he’ll go with Riza. My guess is to any lengths and I don’t think Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) is going to like it when she finds out.

Also this week, Riza is passionately kissing Matt as well and he really wants to meet Spyder. It looks like Matt doesn’t yet know that it’s Adam Newman. Speaking of him, he is making a risky move. You know, he’s embraced the Spyder thing. He’s kissing Riza.

He’s playing high stakes poker, putting himself in danger. But will he actually get in Rizza’s bed? And Lily takes it upon herself to help Malcolm. So, I wonder if she’s going to ask her kids to get tested because they’re grown, you know, and Lily may be bothered by the idea that Holden would be the donor that saved their father.

Week of April 13th-17th on Young and the Restless

The week of April 13th through the 17th, we’ve got Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Billy Abbott‘s (Jason Thompson) relationship getting more serious, and they are discussing their future and plans for their future.

Lily continues to struggle with the fact that she can’t be a donor for Malcolm and that he’s seriously ill. And I guess we’ll find out if her kids are going to get tested to see if they’re a match. And Holden continues to grapple with the fact that Malcolm is his father.

That he’s not known for these what, three and a half decades. And I do think he’s going to go get tested as Stephanie wants because Holden’s not a bad guy. He’s kind of sketchy sometimes, but he’s not that terrible.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Everyone Reeling from Holden Shocker

And especially after talking with Claire, I think he’ll get some clarity, and Holden and Lily are both going to be processing the fact that they are half siblings. Cane is going to be stunned by this turn of events.

I think a lot of people are, Devon and Nate. And I do wonder if Lily may offer Holden a job to just get him away from Cane or if she’s going to try and pretend that he’s not her brother.

Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) are going to be fighting their feelings while they are away in Spain with Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian).

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) dig in their heels as they drift further apart. Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) are also feeling the rift between them widen and Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) is going to keep playing games.

Adam is using Riza to get to Matt, but with Nick in Matt’s crosshairs and in peril, things are going to escalate. Nick, as usual, thinks he’s got everything under control, but he is in serious trouble.

Boston Blue’s Sonequa Martin-Green Teases Difficult Revelation

Boston Blue's Sonequa Martin-Green Teases Difficult Revelation

As Boston Blue prepares for an explosive season finale, Sonequa Martin-Green teased a difficult revelation.

“What a journey I take as Lena Silver. There’s some threads of it at the beginning of the season [and] you’ll start to see us delving into some really serious things,” Martin-Green exclusively told Us Weekly about what is still to come.

Martin-Green warned that there “were difficult stories to tell.”

“I applaud Brandon Sonnier — our coshowrunner — because the Silver family is based on his own family. There are a lot of dynamics in Lena’s life that are based on his life,” she continued. “So this is real and this is authentic. This is his experience. So I am just so excited for people to see it because it’s rough. It’s rough stuff that Lena is about to go through for the rest of the season.”

During the Friday, April 10, episode of the Blue Bloods spinoff, Lena was seen asking her mother, Mae (Gloria Reuben), for more details on her birth father. Mae was reluctant to open up about the past — and that will continue to be addressed on the show.

“It’s going to have a ripple effect. It’s going to be time for this family to start unearthing some serious stuff. We went there and we went to those difficult places because the story was just really important,” the actress noted. “I’m really hoping that people can relate to it and can see examples of it in their own lives.”

Martin-Green recalled a multitude of conversations being sparked on screen.

“We’re just one example of it. We’re a pretend example but I think that sometimes examples are needed to be seen,” she continued. “Lena is a cool cat — as I like to call her — and it’s nice when you get to see layers with somebody like that. She is self-assured, confident and carries herself with ease and smoothness. It’s really good storytelling to see someone like that be broken down and humbled.”

Lena was introduced to Us when Boston Blue premiered in October 2025. In addition to being Danny’s (Donnie Wahlberg) new partner, Martin-Green’s character brought in a new fictional family into the Blue Bloods universe: the Silvers.

“We’re standing on the shoulders of Blue Bloods and there’s so many amazing characters and relationships,” she told Us. “I don’t take that lightly.”

Martin-Green did use the opportunity to take what Blue Bloods built to pave the way for more authentic and important storytelling. Through Lena, Martin-Green was thrilled to expand the world with stories while offering insight into a Boston detective finding her place while part of a noted police family.

“There were the detectives at the BPD that really made an impact on me. It was amazing to be able to be there in person and see and then continuing to have those conversations on set is just invaluable,” she shared. “We ask them for some of everything and they are so open and willing and collaborative and gracious and generous with their stories that are difficult. I’ve been learning a lot about what it means to be a cop. I’m pulling from all the resources that I have around me.”

The work didn’t stop with the scenes Martin-Green filmed. She also spoke to Us about building Lena out through her wardrobe as well, saying, “It is a conversation that we continue to have about finding that balance because you don’t want to be in a position where you’re standing out but you also want to be put together. There’s something so elegant to me about Lena but also understated. The suits are a necessity because I have to wear those. But it was about, let’s work with certain cuts that have more of a femininity to them. It’s great to just dive into your femininity and into your softness because you have to have that masculine shield up when you’re at work.”

She added: “You have to put that force field up because the job just requires it. But when you’re home, you can be soft and you can sink into that softness. I want to keep growing in that and I appreciate that it is a collaboration and that we are able to have these conversations.”

Looking ahead, Martin-Green is excited about where the show goes from here.

“I just can’t stress enough how grateful I am to be telling a character-driven story in a procedural format. I couldn’t have imagined and I really appreciate it. We cover a lot and a lot goes down by the end of the season,” she told Us. “There are a lot of things that are open-ended. There are so many questions and so many things have been introduced. Things are so big in the second half of the season that I feel like we’re going to see the undoing of all of those things — or the coming together of all of those things — for episodes and episodes to come.

Martin-Green is also starring in Rick Gomez‘s directorial debut She Dances, which follows a struggling father who attempts to reconnect with his daughter while serving as her chaperone at a dance competition. Steve Zahn, Ethan Hawke, Mackenzie Ziegler, Rosemarie DeWitt and Audrey Zahn make up the rest of the cast of the movie, which is out now.

Boston Blue airs on CBS Fridays at 10 p.m. ET. New episodes stream the next day on Paramount+.

Ridley Scott’s Best Sci-Fi Movie Is Officially Taking Over the World

Published

on

official-theatrical-poster-for-alien-1979.jpg

Ridley Scott is in line for a big year in 2026 when he returns to the world of sci-fi with the release of The Dog Stars. The post-apocalyptic thriller stars Jacob Elordi and Josh Brolin opposite Margaret Qualley, and after being delayed out of its previously March release spot, it’s now set to be one of the biggest blockbusters of the summer. The Dog Stars will be Scott’s first sci-fi movie in almost 10 years, since he last directed Alien: Covenant in 2017. Following the release of the film, Scott has focused more on historical epics in the last few years, but it hasn’t been exactly smooth sailing. Movies like The Last Duel (starring Matt Damon) and Napoleon (starring Joaquin Phoenix) have gone on to become some of the most controversial releases of Scott’s career.

One Ridley Scott-directed and produced film that’s anything but controversial, though, is Alien. The 1979 sci-fi film is loved by critics and audiences alike, and it’s considered one of the most influential movies ever made. Alien also spawned a sci-fi horror franchise that’s still ongoing to this day, with new releases like Alien: Romulus and Alien: Earth coming in 2024 and 2025. It’s been nearly 50 years since the first Alien movie was released, but the film is still one of the most popular movies in the world on HBO Max, where it’s streaming exclusively in America. Alien grossed $109 million at the box office against an $11 million budget, and the film holds marks of 93% from critics and 94% from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes. Not only is it arguably Scott’s greatest film, it’s one of the best sci-fi movies ever made.

Your Fate Has Been Calculated
You’d Survive In…

Your answers point to the world your instincts were built for. This is the universe your temperament, your survival instincts, and your particular brand of stubbornness were made for.

The Resistance, Zion

The Matrix

You took the red pill a long time ago — probably before anyone offered it to you. You’re a systems thinker who can’t help but notice the seams in things.

  • You’re drawn to understanding how the system works before figuring out how to break it.
  • You’d find the Resistance, or it would find you — your instinct for spotting constructed realities is the machines’ worst nightmare.
  • You function best when you have access to information and the freedom to act on it.
  • The Matrix built an airtight prison. You’d be the one probing the walls for the door.

The Wasteland

Mad Max

The wasteland doesn’t reward the clever or the well-connected — it rewards those who are hard to kill and harder to break. That’s you.

  • You don’t need comfort, community, or a cause larger than the next horizon.
  • You need a vehicle, a clear threat, and enough fuel to outrun it — and you’re good at all three.
  • You are unsentimental enough to survive that world, and decent enough — just barely — to be something more than another raider.
  • In the wasteland, that distinction is everything.

Los Angeles, 2049

Blade Runner

You’d survive here because you know how to exist in moral grey areas without losing yourself completely.

  • You read people accurately, keep your circle small, and ask the questions others prefer not to answer.
  • In a city where humanity is a legal designation rather than a feeling, you hold onto something that keeps you functional.
  • You’re not a hero. But you’re not lost, either.
  • In Blade Runner’s world, that distinction is everything.

Arrakis

Dune

Arrakis is the most hostile environment in the known universe — and you are precisely the kind of person it rewards.

  • Patience, discipline, and political awareness are your core strengths — and on Arrakis, they’re survival tools.
  • You understand that the long game matters more than any single victory.
  • Others come to Dune and are consumed by it. You’d learn its logic and earn its respect.
  • In time, you wouldn’t just survive Arrakis — you’d begin to reshape it.

A Galaxy Far, Far Away

Star Wars

The galaxy far, far away is vast, loud, and in a constant state of violent political upheaval — and you wouldn’t have it any other way.

  • You find meaning in being part of something larger than yourself — a cause, a crew, a rebellion.
  • You’d gravitate toward the Rebellion, or the fringes, or whatever pocket of the galaxy still believes the Empire’s grip can be broken.
  • You fight — not because you have to, but because standing aside isn’t something you’re capable of.
  • In Star Wars, that willingness is what makes all the difference.

What Is ‘Alien’ About?

The official synopsis for Alien reads as follows:

“Ridley Scott’s classic sci-fi chiller about seven astronauts who find themselves hunted by a horrific predator in deep space.”

The ensemble cast of Alien consists of Tom Skerritt as Dallas, Sigourney Weaver as Ripley, Veronica Cartwright as Lambert, Harry Dean Stanton as Brett, John Hurt as Kane, Ian Holm as Ash, and more. Dan O’Bannon wrote the screenplay for Alien with help from Ronald Shusett on the story. Meagan Good Rehomed Her Cat After Marrying Jonathan Majors

Published

on

Meagan Good is explaining why she had to rehome her pet cat after tying the knot with Jonathan Majors.

Appearing on the “Picture This” podcast on Wednesday, April 8, Good, 44, was asked if there was anything “you thought you could live without, but actually could.”

“Uh, my cat, ’cause I had to get rid of my little cat. His name is Bam Bam,” Good replied.

The actress explained that when she and her husband moved in together, he brought along his two dogs. When they added a third dog to the household, Bam Bam did not react well.

Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good are reportedly married, multiple outlets report. According to Entertainment Tonight, the pair tied the knot during a “small private wedding at their home in L.A.” on Tuesday, March 18. Per ET, Majors’ mother officiated the wedding while Good’s mom served as a witness. No other guests were reportedly in attendance. […]

“The pups came with Jonathan. So, there was two pups. And then we got a third one. And by the third one, Bam Bam was real upset and Bam Bam started using the bathroom in the bed,” Good explained.

She continued, “So, at first I was like, I don’t know. Well, I’m going to miss him and I really want him here and he’s my own pup. He’s my little kitty, you know, and he’s like, you know, but then we had a puppy and the puppy pushed him off the edge.”

The interviewer then questioned Good whether she “chose the puppy over Bam Bam?” Good responded, “I chose the man.”

Good and Majors, 36, have been together since 2023. They announced their engagement in November 2024 before tying the knot the following year.

“I’m just really happy,” Good exclusively told Us Weekly in June 2025. “He’s very silly. He always falls asleep in the middle of movies. I love doing adventures with him. If I’m like, ‘Let’s just go try this. Let’s go do that.’ He’s like, ‘All right, let’s go.’ We’re just both in it, like, two little kids who can’t believe we’re allowed to do what we want to do.”

Good also shared with Us in the same interview that she wanted to start a family with Majors. (Majors has a 13-year-old daughter from a past relationship.)

“I definitely am ready to have kids now,” Good told Us at the time. “And then, my partner [is] someone I want to really do it with, and get excited about doing it with, and who is a phenomenal father already, but now we can do it together.”

For his part, Majors gushed about Good during a television interview with Sherri Shepherd in March 2025, where he confirmed they had tied the knot.

Donald Trump Didn’t ‘Recommend’ Melania’s Epstein Statement

Published

on

President Donald Trump clarified that he did not suggest to wife Melania Trump to make a statement about Jeffrey Epstein — but approved of her making one.

“I said, ‘If you want to do that, you can do that.’ I said if she wants to do it — I didn’t recommend it, but … I let it be her, I said, if you want to do it,” Donald, 79, said in an interview with the New York Times on Friday, April 10.

The president also clarified that Melania “didn’t meet me through Jeffrey Epstein.”

“I could understand her feelings,” he said. “But I said, ‘If you want to do it, do it.’”

First lady Melania Trump surprised many when she released a statement denying any connection to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein — including her husband, President Donald Trump. Following Melania’s Thursday, April 9, statement to the press, MS NOW reported that they had a “brief phone call” with the president, 79, where he allegedly told the […]

Donald shared that he and his wife’s conversation about making the statement “wasn’t a big discussion.”

“I’d say it lasted for about two minutes,” he explained. “I had no problem. I thought she actually did a good job.”

Melania made headlines on Thursday, April 9, when she addressed speculation about her and her husband’s connection to Epstein. (The disgraced billionaire was convicted in 2008 for soliciting a minor for prostitution. Prior to his 2019 death by suicide, Epstein was awaiting trial on federal charges of sex trafficking and conspiracy to traffic minors.)

“[The rumors] with the disgraceful Jeffrey Epstein need to end today,” Melania said during a Thursday, April 9, press conference at the White House. “The individuals lying about me are devoid of ethical standards, humility and respect. I do not object to their ignorance but rather I reject their mean-spirited attempts to defame my reputation.”

Melania claimed that she had “never been friends” with Epstein.

“Numerous fake images and statements about Epstein and me have been circulating on social media for years now. Be cautious about what you believe. These images and stories are completely false,” she continued. “I am not a witness or a named witness in connection with any of Epstein’s crimes. My name has never appeared in court documents, depositions, victim statements or FBI interviews surrounding the Epstein matter.”

The first lady clarified that she and Donald Sr., who wed in 2005 and share son Baron 20, were previously “invited to many of the same parties as Epstein” but she “never had a relationship with Epstein or his accomplice [Ghislaine] Maxwell.” (Donald Sr. is also father to Don Jr., Ivanka, Eric and Tiffany Trump.)

First lady Melania Trump stunned observers on April 9, 2026, when she held an impromptu press conference at the White House to deny any connection to late convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein — and to reject rumors that Epstein introduced her to her husband, President Donald Trump. What Melania Trump Said During Her Rare Public […]

Epstein and those who have been accused of being in his inner circle have been a hot topic in recent years due to the Department of Justice’s investigation into him. The government body has been releasing Epstein’s alleged correspondence — also known as the Epstein Files — as part of an FBI investigation into his actions.

Trump later told the Times on Friday that he doesn’t “mind anything having to do with Epstein.”

“The only thing I don’t like is, I waste a lot of time having to talk about it,” he told the outlet.

15 of Epstein’s victims spoke out against Melania’s remarks in a Thursday statement, “Survivors of Jeffrey Epstein have already shown extraordinary courage by coming forward, filing reports and giving testimony. Asking more of them now is a deflection of responsibility, not justice. It also diverts attention from [former attorney general] Pam Bondi, who must answer for withheld files and the exposure of survivors’ identities.”
