Young and the Restless weekly spoilers for April 7th through the 11th. Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) cracks, Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin) accuses, and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is scared.
Let’s dive into the action coming on Monday, April 7th, season 52, episode 125.
Young and the Restless Spoilers: Summer’s Upset and a Paris Connection
On The Young and the Restless, Summer’s upset to hear that her mom, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), is still plagued with nightmares. Also, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) are planning to take the Newman jet with Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) to head over to London to see Noah Newman (Rory Gibson).
Phyllis and Sharon, with Nick, all meet with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd). Chance has a lead on the poison gas device that nearly killed them, and they traced it back to a psychiatric clinic near Paris. Sharon sees that as a direct line back to Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins). Chance can’t say more about that, but he promises that the investigation is heating up.
Meanwhile, Phyllis and Sharon are scared of the danger, but Chance wants them to trust him to catch the bad guy. Phyllis actually wonders if Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) played a role in the crime because she’s got past mental health issues and ties to Paris. Sharon doubts that Ashley is involved.
Meanwhile, Phyllis doubts that Alan is the culprit, but Nick thinks that Chance is actually onto Alan and he is the problem. Sharon tells them about the intense conversation she and Tracy Abbott (Beth Maitland) had about Allan, and Phyllis is wondering if their trip to London is ill-timed because of all this stuff going down.
Kyle and Claire’s Relationship Drama Intensifies
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) tells Claire that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) ruined a bunch of Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) relationships and says he’s not going to let her granddad ruin theirs the way that he did her mom’s. So Claire is pressing about Kyle and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
She thinks they might be plotting against Victor, but Kyle makes it clear the intense conversation she saw was not them plotting against her granddad, but them discussing the fact that they believe Victor has planted a spy at Jabot. Summer is pouty and jealous when she runs into Claire and Kyle; things get awkward.
She fusses about Phyllis, and then Summer jabbers about Harrison Locke (Redding Munsell), and then Summer’s actually annoyed when Claire and Kyle talk about how cute it is that Harrison has been doing magic shows for them.
On Young and the Restless, Chance comes over to talk to glaring Summer after they go. Chance thinks she is jealous, and she finally admits she doesn’t like it. Summer is getting boozy and tells Chance she wishes Claire would disappear and tells him she cannot believe she lost Kyle to someone like Claire.
Well, predictably, Chance has had just about enough. He wants to make their split official and permanent because, you know, she’s clearly not into him. Meanwhile, Victor offers Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) carte blanche, her dream job.
She can run a division of Newman if she does this one thing for Victor: gets Kyle back in her bed to break up him and Claire. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) walks up on this conversation, accuses Victor of lying to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), and then Nate asks Audra why she was chatting with Victor, who has told her not to take too long considering his offer.
Y&R Spoilers: Ashley’s Return and the Unraveling of a Deception
Tuesday, April 8th, is season 52, episode 126. Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is back from Paris, and she finds the family in chaos.
Everybody’s staying at the GCAC because of the renovations and then all this stuff with Tracy, so Jack wants to know from Ashley if she thinks it’s possible when the twins tumbled over the balcony in Paris that night, is there a chance that it was Martin that lived and Alan that died?
He’s going to fill her in on some of the stuff that’s going on, and Ashley is going to be utterly shocked. Meanwhile on CBS’ The Young and the Restless, Sharon and Phyllis want justice for what they went through, and if it is indeed Alan, then they want to see him pay.
Tracy makes a distress call, and she may be in danger this week because fake Alan returns, and he knows that his time is probably running out, and this Martin guy, who it seems to really be, is unhinged, sociopathic, erratic, and flat-out dangerous, so that makes him hard to figure out what he’s going to do, and that’s going to make it a challenge for them to take him down.
Tracy’s Peril and Chance’s Discovery
Wednesday, April 9th, is episode 127 of the current season, and Jack and Ashley are increasingly worried about their little sister Tracy’s safety, and Chance makes a big discovery in the investigation, and he uncovers shocking information, and it looks like he is going to get a lot more info about fake Alan, and they’re going to figure out he is the culprit.
But, the question is whether they can get to him before he causes more chaos.
A Young and the Restless Showdown with Allan and a New Alliance
Thursday, April 10th, episode 128 of season 52 of Young and the Restless. Tracy has a showdown with Allan. He shows up at Tracy’s hotel suite with a smile, acting like a good guy, but he takes her off guard.
She didn’t know that he was going to be there at the time, and she’s shocked, she’s a little scared, and the question is, will Allan figure out that she’s scared?
Sharon and Phyllis form an alliance now. It may be just the two of them, or somebody else may be working with them, but it will be a stunner, and obviously, they are teaming up for justice, and hopefully, this is another step towards long-term peace between these two.
Victor’s Vow and Victoria’s Reflection
We’re going to wrap up The Young and the Restless next week on Friday, April 11th, season 52, episode 129. So Victor is vowing to punish Kyle, and that’s a question: punish him for what? For daring to date Claire, for being Jack Abbott’s son. Or, is Victor on fire because Kyle has told Claire that her granddad has got spies at Jabot? Because knowing Claire, she’s perfectly capable of going to confront Victor and demanding the truth out of him, not that Victor is big on giving truth to anybody these days.
Meanwhile, Victoria makes an effort to learn from the mistakes of her past. So, I feel like this may be her looking back on some of the things that Victor has gotten away with with ruining her past relationships and marriages, and maybe she’s going to dig in and intervene to help Claire get her happily ever after with Kyle and not let Victor destroy it. Meanwhile, Audra considers this very tempting offer. I mean, a whole division of Newman.
The thing is, Audra should know by now she cannot trust any offer that Victor makes. Even if he held to the letter of the agreement and he put her in charge of a division of Newman, that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t turn around and fire her the next day. Also, Audra talks to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) the week of April 7th through the 11th. And, she may confide in her bestie the offer that Victor has made, and I wonder if Audra is trying to figure out if there’s a way she could fake seduce Kyle, break up him and Claire, seal the deal with Victor, and still not lose Nate.
We’ll see if she can outfox Victor.
