This chic bag from Polene looks great — but I feel like we must discuss this styling.

Apparently, someone at Polene said, HEY, let’s have the models wearing suits! On a mountain! On TOP of a mountain! And obviously, they should be holding the bag!

I mean, sure.

There are several different versions of this bag, including the tote, a nano tote, and a more horizontal version just called Cyme and Cyme mini. I think I prefer the more elongated tote, but that’s me…

The Cyme tote is $630, available at Polene. The tote is available in 6 colors, while the more horizontal version has 20 colors (!).

Paris Fashion Week Stella McCartney Debuts Winter 2026 Show Blending Past And Present 23 53

Set up like a riding arena, with black and white horses centered as models strutted down the runway, Stella McCartney took us on a wonderful equestrian journey during her Winter 2026 show held at Le Grand Manège Jean Caucanas in Paris.

Opening the show with a luxurious brown faux-mink coat that showcased exceptional craftsmanship, Stella McCartney set the tone with opulence that followed throughout the collection.

The designer didn’t just stick to one silhouette, but instead embraced different themes that reflected equestrian references while nodding to the 80’s. With this runway show, it’s evident that Stella is in a league of her own.

From modern cream monochromatic looks the were rich with faux fur trims, to the return of stirrup pants paired with stilettos that were widely popular in the 1980’s, the London native who first launched her eponymous brand in 2001, showed us a powerful juxtaposition of then & now.

Front row attendees like Anna Wintour, Oprah and Gayle King were able to set their eyes on some of the most beautiful and intricate knitted garments paired with deconstructed denim. All of the designs were progressive, yet timeless, and designed with purpose for longevity.

And just when you thought the show couldn’t get any better, toward the latter part of the show attendees were presented with glamorous evening-wear, marking an unrivaled finale.

Thursday’s Workwear Report: Waisted Sweater-Jacket

Our daily workwear reports suggest one piece of work-appropriate attire in a range of prices.

I’m really loving the most recent round of sweater jackets I’ve been seeing recently. This one from J.Crew Factory is more cardigan than blazer but has the shape of the lady jackets that have been popular for the last few years.

I would wear this “distressed fatigue” color with navy trousers for a neutral look that isn’t too bland.

The sweater is $46.50 at J.Crew Factory and comes in sizes XXS-3X. It also comes in ivory and black.

Looking for lady jackets to add to your wardrobe?

Some of our latest favorite lady jackets for work in 2026 still include knit jackets such as those from ba&sh, MMLF, or Boden… but in general the style has gotten much more structured, closer to a Chanel-style jacket for work. On the budget side of things, check out J.Crew, Tuckernuck (XXS-XXXL), J.Crew Factory, and Ann Taylor… on the splurgey side check out L’Agence, Veronica Beard, St. John, and (of course!) Chanel.

Resort Green – Julia Berolzheimer

Resort Green - Julia Berolzheimer

Christopher Esber Dress & Sandals

Resort dressing feels especially good in green right now. It’s a color story made for vacation, saturated, sun-ready, and impossible to ignore. Slip into it and you’re instantly somewhere coastal and warm, late afternoon light, a drink in hand, nowhere urgent to be.

Indulge in every shade of green: emerald, palm, apple, sage, even a flash of lime green, because the magic is in layering them together. A lagoon-toned bikini with a crisp linen shirt tossed over it, a solid green one-piece styled with flat flip flops and oversized sunglasses, a terry wrap skirt for beach or pool, a sleek top and skirt set that carries effortlessly into dinner. Fully resort, fully saturated, head-to-toe green and ready to go.

Suit of the Week: The Fold

For busy working women, the suit is often the easiest outfit to throw on in the morning. In general, this feature is not about interview suits for women, which should be as classic and basic as you get — instead, this feature is about the slightly different suit that is fashionable, yet professional. Also: we just updated our big roundup for the best women’s suits of 2025!

It’s been a little while since we featured a suit from The Fold — and I’m loving this deep magenta suit. The color is not for everyone (and it does come in navy as well!) but I think it’s bold and lovely.

I’m not sure why but I really dislike double-breasted suits — but the single-button asymmetric wrap look is always A-OK with me. I think the waterfall details under each pocket add an elegant and unusual touch, too.

I’d wear it with light pink, light gray, white and navy as we head into spring, but in the fall I’d try it with black, ivory, and possibly try the pieces as separates with darker jewel tones like burgundy, a deep blue like mallard or midnight, and even brown.

The blazer is $625, and the matching pants are $385. There’s a matching dress but I don’t think it’s intended to be worn with the blazer. (Possibly? The dress is pretty complete on its own.)

What Do You Bring to Work Each Day?

It’s been years since we’ve talked about what you bring on your work schlep (and our discussions on what’s in your bag) — but for today let’s focus on work: If you’re heading to the office, what are you making sure is in your bag? If you’re hybrid between in office and remote, what do you bring? And finally — if your company doesn’t do assigned desks (aka hot desking), what do you bring?

Things I’m wondering about: Office essentials? Laptop? Lunch? Snacks? Workout clothes? Date night clothes? Makeup for after work? Do you bring in some things at the beginning of the week (lunch items or extra clothes) and then take them home at the end of the week? What lives at the office and what do you bring with you? (Also, how many bags and do you have any favorites for your various purposes?)

I’ve mentioned before that I’m a fan of the Trapper Keeper for Adults, the polished padfolio — if only so (if working in a conference room or headed to a lengthy meeting) I have lip gloss, some cash, tape flags and Post-it notes and my preferred pen… but the padfolio was always kept at the office; I can see it being a bit bulky to schlep into work each day.

I’ve also been a fan of the “large tote + smaller bag inside,” whether that smaller bag is a lightweight crossbody (love my ones from Rothy’s), a wristlet, or just a makeup bag or pouch.

Readers, over to you — what do you bring to work each day? How has it changed throughout your career?
