Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said at around 9pm last night (Friday, April 11), officers were to reports of a man with injuries consistent with a stabbing at the playfields near Abraham Moss tram station in north Manchester.
The man who suffered the injuries, aged in his 20s, was taken to hospital with what police are calling serious injuries.
A scene is in place while evidence is gained and detectives investigate the nature of the incident.
