Chrispin Rajabu, one of the young leaders at Daubhill based Be The Change, was recognised as a winner of the High Sheriff of Greater Manchester Young Citizen of the Year Award for Bolton.
The awards celebrate young people all over Greater Manchester who have made a significant impact in their communities through leadership, service, and personal growth.
Be The Change CEO Daniel Sukula said: “Seeing a young person we’ve supported win this award is an incredibly proud moment.
“It reinforces why youth work is so important, when young people have positive role models and a safe environment, they can achieve so much more.

“We are so excited for the future, especially with the opening of our new facility.”
As an active member of Be The Change, Chrispin has been dedicated to supporting fellow young people, helping with club activities and helping to plan further activities.
All of this has made him an excellent role model for other young Be The Change members.
More recently Chrispin has finished his City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in trade skills through VIY, Volunteer It Yourself.
This is a programme that equips young people with practical skills while supporting community projects.
Chrispin’s hard work helped to build a new music studio at Be The Change’s upcoming facility, an achievement which Mr Sukula says showcases his talent, determination, and leadership.
