Among the best pie shops in Bolton, according to readers, are Ye Olde Pastie Shoppe, Armstrongs Bakers, Wilsons Pie Shop and Carrs Pasties Shop.
One local said: “No brainer, Armstrongs Bakers the best in Britain not just bolton..and i have have tried hundreds over the last 70 years.”
Another agreed, writing: “Nothing to think about. Armstrongs Bakers hands down. The best in the district. Friendly staff, fantastic pie’s, sandwiches and cakes. Never fails to hit the spot”.
