Bow Street and Kay Street will see a road closure on March 24 for one day.

The restrictions are set to remain in place from 9.30am to 3.30pm to allow for manhole repair works.

During this time, there will be a no right turn from Bow Street at its junction with Manor Street and a left turn only from Kay Street at its junction with Bow Street.

An alternative route will be via Bow Street, Folds Road, Bury New Road, Castle Street, Bradford Street, Lower Bridgeman Street, and Bradshawgate.

Back Bury Road will be closed starting March 25 for approximately three days.

The restrictions are set to remain in place to facilitate water works.

All traffic will be prohibited from proceeding on Back Bury Road from St James Avenue to Empire Road.

Davenport Street is currently being affected by a road closure which began on March 10, which is due to last around nine days.

The restrictions are set to remain in place to allow for electricity works.

Traffic is prohibited from proceeding on Davenport Street from Vernon Street to Clifton Street.

An alternative route for traffic is via Chorley Old Road, Thomas Holden Street, and Snowden Street.

Ellesmere Road will also see a road closure starting on March 24, for approximately five days.

The restrictions are set to remain in place to allow for resurfacing works.

All traffic will be prohibited from proceeding on Ellesmere Road from Morris Green Lane to Maltby Drive.

An alternative route will be via Hurst Street and Garfield Street.

Firwood Lane will be closed from March 17 for about three days due to gas works.

The restrictions are set to remain in place, prohibiting all traffic from proceeding on Firwood Lane from Alders Lane to No 4 Firwood Lane.

Lords Stile Lane is currently experiencing a road closure which started on March 10, and is due to last approximately five days.

The restrictions are set to remain in place for electricity works.

All traffic will be prohibited from proceeding on Lords Stile Lane from Bromley Cross Road to The Crescent.

An alternative route will be via Windsor Road and Darwen Road.

Back Melbourne Road will be closed beginning March 26 for about two days to facilitate telecom works.

The restrictions are set to remain in place, prohibiting all traffic from proceeding on Back Melbourne Road from Hibernia Street to Hawthorne Street.

Radcliffe Road will see overnight closures starting March 17 for approximately one week.

The restrictions are set to remain in place from 9pm to 6am each night to allow for highway works.

All traffic will be prohibited from proceeding on Radcliffe Road from Crows Nest to Dove Bank Road.

An alternative route will be via Long Lane, Bury Road, Bury New Road, Radcliffe Moor Road, Bradley Road, and Tong Road.

Lastly, Tintern Avenue will be closed starting March 19 for around three days due to water works.

The restrictions are set to remain in place, prohibiting all traffic from proceeding on Tintern Avenue from Crompton Way to Le Gendre Street.

An alternative route will be via Crompton Way and Firwood Grove.

This is in addition to ongoing road closures on Barn Street, Central Street, Cheadle Square, Kestor Street, Mill Lane/Academy Way, Shoreswood and Belmont Road, Wimberry Road Area, and Wood Street.

Residents and drivers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and follow the diversion routes during these closures.
