The BBC has obtained footage of an incident in the early hours of Friday in which a car hit several pedestrians.
Bedfordshire Police was called to reports that a white Fiat 500 had hit pedestrians in Chapel Street, Luton, at about 03:30 BST.
Two men, both in their 30s, were taken to hospital where they remain with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
A 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and drink-driving and remains in police custody.
Det Sgt Emma Janes said officers believed the incident was linked to an earlier altercation in Kumba Lounge, a nightclub on the same road.
