» Coronation Street viewers spot huge error on ITV soap

The pub has been home to many iconic scenes in the soap’s history, appearing in Coronation Street since its very first episode.

Throughout its time on the soap, the Rovers Return has burnt down twice, in 1986 and again in 2013.

Recently, some fans have spotted that there is a very big error with the pub that has left some viewers puzzled.

Taking to social media, one viewer spotted that the Rovers Return had gained an extra upstairs window.

Previously, the pub only had one external window on the second floor, but has since moved to a new set in MediaCityUK in Salford in 2014.

According to The Sun, one fan posted a before and after image of the pub, sharing: “The fact it’s never been explained ‘In-Universe’ as to how the Rovers just obtained an extra window and, subsequently, bedroom.”

Another fan said: “Probably the same reason as to why it’s never been explained as to why you can now fit 2 cars down the street when you could only get 1 down, or why the street has got longer.”

As a third added: “Look how small it looks, yet it’s huge on the inside. Where’s the wall where they play darts?”
