Trams on the Bury line were suspended for around an hour when service resumed with “severe delays” just before 8am.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police (GMP) confirmed that officers assisted the incident at around 7am and that a man was later taken to hospital for treatment.

There was a road closure in place for a short time on Crumpsall Lane between Rectory Road and Hermitage Road in north Manchester but this has now fully re-opened.

A spokesperson for Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) which managed the Bee Network shared on social media that passengers are facing “severe delays” this morning, Monday, as service resumes.

Tickets are being accepted on 17, 18, 41, 52, 53, 59, 66, 81, 90, 94, 95, 97, 98, 112, 117, 118, 119, 135, 151, 156, 163, 513, 524 Bee Network bus services.
