James Martin will be taking to the stage, having become a regular at the annual August bank holiday festival.
Taking place from Friday, August 22 to Monday, August 25, the four-day extravaganza will celebrate its milestone 20th year, putting the spotlight on the town centre as a vibrant hub of global cuisine, live entertainment and activities for the whole family.
Martin will headline the final day of the festival on Monday, August 25, serving up three high-energy live cookery demos at 11am, 1pm and 3pm – sharing some of his favourite dishes, tips, and trademark charm with fans.
Bursting with street food vendors, and an array of top regional chef cookery demos, live music, artisan markets, bars, kids’ zones and more, this year’s event is set to be the best yet.

“James Martin is part of the Bolton Food and Drink Festival family, having graced our live stage for the last 14 years, so it is only right that he’s back with us to celebrate our milestone year – his sell-out live demos are always a highlight of the festival.
“During this weekend, our town comes alive – and there’s no doubt that Bolton is Born to Perform, putting on a show like no other.
“It’s a celebration of everything that makes this place vibrant, welcoming and full of heart.”
