On Thursday, August 24, 2023, Aaron McFadden is reported to have made threats to a woman that he would “burn her house down”, which was intended that “she would fear the threat would be carried out”.
McFadden, of Chatham Street in Leigh, is also reported to have assaulted a woman twice in August 2023.
The 32-year-old is also reported to have damaged the door of a woman in August 2023.
After being arrested, McFadden was charged with making threats to damage or destroy a property, criminal damage, and two counts of assault by beating.

At a hearing at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates Court, McFadden was found guilty of all four charges.
A further hearing on Wednesday, February 26, explained that the 32-year-old has been remanded on conditional bail, on the conditions that he does not contact the victim, either directly or indirectly.
A pre-sentencing report is now being preparing for McFadden, who is scheduled to appear at a further magistrates hearing on Friday, May 9.
