Liberal Party candidate Evan Solomon is getting roasted online following an embarrassing gaffe on social media.

The X account of Solomon, the former TV host running to represent Toronto Centre on Parliament Hill, accidentally shared a meme Tuesday from a parody account of Mark Carney that showed the Liberal leader stepping off a red and white campaign bus.
However, the message on the photoshopped bus mocked Carney, which had a slur referring to mentally challenged people in giant letters and “World Economic Forum” below in a smaller font.
“Let’s get to work,” the account wrote on the post.
It’s unclear if Solomon or one of his staffers reposted the Carney parody, which was removed a short time later.
Eagle-eyed followers on social media caught the snafu, including Conservative Candidate for Calgary Nose Hill Michelle Rempel Garner who shared an image of the repost before Solomon deleted it.
“Oh no, lol,” Rempel Garner wrote alongside a grimacing emoji.
